- 0:00Speaker 1: And Football at four is powered by the Inside of
- 0:02Speaker 1: the Birds podcast. It is brought to you by the
- 0:04Speaker 1: Fanatics Sportsbook at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City. Well,
- 0:08Speaker 1: the Eagles one day away from the New York Football Giants,
- 0:12Speaker 1: both teams coming off losses, obviously, two teams that have
- 0:16Speaker 1: two different ideas of what they want to be this season.
- 0:19Speaker 1: But what do the Eagles want to be this season?
- 0:23Speaker 1: Let's ask Jeff Boscher from the Inside of the Birds podcast,
- 0:26Speaker 1: who joins us right now for today's edition of Football
- 0:29Speaker 1: at four here on the Sports Past Live on ninety
- 0:32Speaker 1: seven three ESPN and most I guess that's been the
- 0:35Speaker 1: big question, what do the Eagles want to be? We
- 0:38Speaker 1: heard Nick Sirianni talking earlier today. He was asked about
- 0:42Speaker 1: this big meeting between his star players AJ Brown, Saquon Barkley,
- 0:47Speaker 1: Jalen Hurtz. What do you think those guys discussed about
- 0:50Speaker 1: what they want to be?
- 0:53Speaker 2: That's a good question, you know, As my colleague Jimmy
- 0:57Speaker 2: Kinski at Philly Voice reported, Taquon Barkley is someone of
- 1:00Speaker 2: the mediator in this and it's kind of funny that
- 1:04Speaker 2: he's the mediator because really, for the Eagles, to get
- 1:08Speaker 2: back to what they want to be, They've got to
- 1:10Speaker 2: be able to run the ball more efficiently and effectively.
- 1:14Speaker 2: It is. It's mind boggling to me that Saquon Barkley
- 1:18Speaker 2: is averaging three point one yards per carry and yet
- 1:21Speaker 2: he probably I think, I believe he's top four, top
- 1:23Speaker 2: five in the league and carries so the opportunities, it's
- 1:28Speaker 2: not like those have eluded him. It didn't last game
- 1:30Speaker 2: when they just abandoned the run, but the opportunities have
- 1:34Speaker 2: been there. It seems that he's been close to times.
- 1:38Speaker 2: The Giants are a team that you got to be
- 1:40Speaker 2: able to assert yourself against and run on and take
- 1:43Speaker 2: a lead against. And that's what they're gonna try to
- 1:46Speaker 2: do in this game, like I would imagine. You know,
- 1:48Speaker 2: I'm not saying they won't come out and try to
- 1:49Speaker 2: throw the ball, But if they if we come out
- 1:51Speaker 2: of this game and Saquon Barkley has not had a
- 1:54Speaker 2: decent game, and even if the Eagles win, I think
- 1:56Speaker 2: it's gonna raise questions about the future.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Well, you know, listen, and you get a situation where
- 2:01Speaker 1: this team ran the ball to success, a big level
- 2:04Speaker 1: of success. How much is their problems this year is
- 2:07Speaker 1: them trying to mirror the success they had last year
- 2:10Speaker 1: and can't mirror it.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I think that's that's it. They can't
- 2:13Speaker 2: mirror it, and it's it's not the same exact offensive line.
- 2:17Speaker 2: So I think that there's some issues there. Obviously. Cam Jurgens,
- 2:22Speaker 2: I believe told Jeff McClain, or maybe he said it
- 2:24Speaker 2: to a pack of reporters, that he can just tell
- 2:27Speaker 2: he's not fully back from the backs, or he's not himself.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I mentioned to you on tape watching him try to
- 2:33Speaker 2: do some angle blocks recently that just didn't look like
- 2:36Speaker 2: the Cam Jurgens that we used to see. Landon Dickerson
- 2:39Speaker 2: beat up. Well, you know, I have no idea if
- 2:42Speaker 2: he's gonna wind up playing tomorrow night. And Tyler Steen,
- 2:45Speaker 2: Jason Elevant made a really good observation as opposed to
- 2:51Speaker 2: Makai Becton. He was on our show last night, it's
- 2:54Speaker 2: up on our platform right now, said that Tyler Steen
- 2:59Speaker 2: is sort of very obvious when he's standing up looking
- 3:02Speaker 2: back at the quarterback before he hits the center to tap,
- 3:06Speaker 2: you know, because it's new to him and he doesn't
- 3:08Speaker 2: do it subtly, and it gives the defense an advantage there.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I feel like Makai Beckton though, did that last year too.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I mean he would just slap the guy on the back.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And I always just say, does anybody else not notice
- 3:19Speaker 1: Makai Becton just literally, you know, slapping Jurgons on the
- 3:22Speaker 1: back like and I.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Know I said that to to Chase and he goes.
- 3:25Speaker 2: It's not really the it's the way Steen really stands
- 3:29Speaker 2: up and looks back. You can just see him getting
- 3:32Speaker 2: you know. The tap from Becten was hard, but it
- 3:35Speaker 2: was quick, whereas with Steen it's a little bit slower.
- 3:37Speaker 2: So these are all these are all small things. I mean,
- 3:39Speaker 2: it's not like it's not They all add up, but
- 3:42Speaker 2: it's it's not an excuse for why Saquon can't at
- 3:45Speaker 2: least have one hundred yard type of day. So and
- 3:48Speaker 2: hopefully for him, he's not pressing too much. I think
- 3:50Speaker 2: that he is a little bit. But they got to
- 3:53Speaker 2: figure out a way to get clean up that operation.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Maybe it's putting more more like another o lineman on
- 3:59Speaker 2: the field like the Broncos did, or getting some extra
- 4:02Speaker 2: beef with cam Lots who as a fullback.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You know, they have this meeting and usually when you
- 4:08Speaker 1: have meetings that generally means you're omitting. Something's wrong here, right,
- 4:12Speaker 1: you're saying, so is the meeting in your opinion? I
- 4:14Speaker 1: know that there's no what they talked about or anything,
- 4:17Speaker 1: but is this more what they need to be as
- 4:20Speaker 1: an offense, or Hey, there's some friction here and it's
- 4:23Speaker 1: now boiling over to the rest of the team and
- 4:26Speaker 1: it's not fair to the rest of us.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good question. I don't know if it's friction.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I think meetings sometimes help you clear the air and
- 4:35Speaker 2: get on the same page. But I don't know that
- 4:40Speaker 2: from an execution standpoint, it can change all that much.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Everything that you're doing, you're trying to do against the
- 4:46Speaker 2: specific defense, and what that defense does well or not well,
- 4:51Speaker 2: and how you're going to attack it based on what
- 4:52Speaker 2: you do well or not well. But you can sort
- 4:55Speaker 2: of you can probably help just get on the same
- 4:58Speaker 2: page and say, hey, what what wrong here? What went
- 5:01Speaker 2: wrong there? You know, maybe like that play to aj
- 5:03Speaker 2: Brown that didn't connect, you can talk and get on
- 5:06Speaker 2: the same page and at least air it out. But
- 5:09Speaker 2: I don't know that that really changes execution.
- 5:12Speaker 1: All right, So Philly's played tonight and we keep hearing
- 5:16Speaker 1: they're pressing, they're trying to do too much. How much
- 5:19Speaker 1: do you think that Kevin Batula is now trying to
- 5:21Speaker 1: dial up the perfect play every single play When you
- 5:25Speaker 1: get into this situation where you've never called plays, you're
- 5:28Speaker 1: coming off a Super Bowl championship team, and now everyone's
- 5:30Speaker 1: looking at you as to why there's a problem here.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Do you ever look at that and wonder like, is
- 5:35Speaker 1: this guy just trying to be too perfect?
- 5:37Speaker 2: Umm, you're the first to kind of put that in
- 5:41Speaker 2: my head. I'll be honest, I don't know that he's
- 5:44Speaker 2: I don't know that it's trying to be too perfect
- 5:46Speaker 2: as much as it is trying to marry the concepts
- 5:50Speaker 2: that they do well together which has eluded them, which
- 5:52Speaker 2: is running the ball, having an intermediate passing game, having
- 5:57Speaker 2: that set up of plays down the field because they
- 6:00Speaker 2: feel like a very well they don't feel like they
- 6:03Speaker 2: are a very feast or famine offense right now. They're
- 6:06Speaker 2: hitting shot plays at times, but then there's no running
- 6:10Speaker 2: game after it to support it. There's no intermediary game
- 6:13Speaker 2: to support it or complement it, and there's so there's
- 6:16Speaker 2: no sequencing, there's no ability to call something on first
- 6:19Speaker 2: down to set up what you're gonna do on second down,
- 6:21Speaker 2: and then something on second down to be able to
- 6:23Speaker 2: set up what you want to do on third down.
- 6:26Speaker 2: And then there's nothing that you can call right now
- 6:28Speaker 2: in a game and try to set up later in
- 6:31Speaker 2: a game as well. That's great sequencing, that's marrying concepts,
- 6:35Speaker 2: and they're not able to do that, and I'm sure
- 6:37Speaker 2: he's trying to find the right buttons to push to
- 6:39Speaker 2: be able to do that. But at the same time,
- 6:42Speaker 2: defenses are kind of onto what the Eagles are doing,
- 6:44Speaker 2: and they've played some pretty good defensive teams lately.
- 6:47Speaker 1: One thing that the Eagles have not done a lot
- 6:50Speaker 1: this year is have Jalen Hurts be a part of
- 6:52Speaker 1: the run game. In twenty twenty two, he ran the
- 6:55Speaker 1: ball one hundred and sixty five times in fifteen games,
- 6:59Speaker 1: seven hundred sixty yards thirteen touchdowns. In twenty twenty three,
- 7:04Speaker 1: that number dropped in seventeen games. He actually ran less
- 7:08Speaker 1: only one hundred and fifty seven times. Last year in
- 7:10Speaker 1: fifteen games, he ran one hundred and fifty times. This year,
- 7:15Speaker 1: he's got forty three carries in five games. It seems
- 7:18Speaker 1: that he is not a big part of the he's
- 7:23Speaker 1: not more involved in the run game. Do you see that?
- 7:26Speaker 1: And do you see as that being what teams are
- 7:29Speaker 1: seeing And because he's not a part of it, it's
- 7:31Speaker 1: really suffocating the actual run game.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's twofold. They really haven't used him
- 7:38Speaker 2: in designed runs very much, and those I think are
- 7:42Speaker 2: are difficult for offenses to stop. And then the scrambling
- 7:47Speaker 2: element has kind of been there and then not there.
- 7:50Speaker 2: He had the big twenty nine yard run against the
- 7:52Speaker 2: Bucks helps him set up a touchdown. He had a
- 7:55Speaker 2: few scrambles against the Chiefs as well that were big.
- 7:58Speaker 2: But I told you last week against the Broncos, I
- 8:01Speaker 2: thought he was going to struggle to get his own
- 8:03Speaker 2: run like scrambled runs off because they rushed the passer
- 8:07Speaker 2: with discipline, They stay outside and keep the quarterback inside
- 8:12Speaker 2: the pocket, and then they use spies. Do you stunts
- 8:14Speaker 2: across the middle to clog up lanes? I wouldn't. I'd
- 8:18Speaker 2: sort of be surprised if Jalen didn't find more running
- 8:21Speaker 2: lanes against the Giants, And I think that they probably
- 8:26Speaker 2: will make more of a concerted effort now to use
- 8:29Speaker 2: him as a runner just to keep the defenses from
- 8:31Speaker 2: from you know, kind of knowing what they want to do.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Jeff Boscher from the Inside of the Birds podcast and
- 8:37Speaker 1: Philly Voice dot Com Football at four, Let's talk about
- 8:40Speaker 1: the Giants and their role in all this. Is this
- 8:44Speaker 1: the right defense to get right on in a short week.
- 8:47Speaker 1: You're playing the Giants, a team that's not very good.
- 8:50Speaker 1: But do they have a defense that can continue to
- 8:53Speaker 1: frustrate this offense?
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yeah? They do. I think it's really important that the
- 8:56Speaker 2: Eagles start off fast. It's no surprise that the game
- 8:59Speaker 2: the Giants won against the Chargers, they were up ten
- 9:02Speaker 2: to nothing in that game, they got a field goal,
- 9:04Speaker 2: they got a Dart touchdown run, and they have the
- 9:08Speaker 2: type of pass rush with Brian Burns and Dexter Lawrence
- 9:11Speaker 2: Thibodeau Abdul Carter where if they're ever in a lead
- 9:14Speaker 2: and they can kind of give themselves the flexibility to
- 9:17Speaker 2: tee off on the quarterback and try some interesting maneuvers
- 9:20Speaker 2: in the pass rush game, they could be pretty good
- 9:23Speaker 2: at it. And overall I think their defense has some
- 9:25Speaker 2: good players, but the offense is kind of hamstrung them
- 9:28Speaker 2: with turnovers or just being lethargic when Russell Wilson was
- 9:32Speaker 2: the quarterback. So I think it would be really helpful
- 9:34Speaker 2: if the Eagles, and obviously you're trying to score every
- 9:37Speaker 2: possession anyway, but if the Eagles can get ahead early
- 9:40Speaker 2: and not let the Giants sort of have the ability
- 9:44Speaker 2: to get that pass rush going and you're always on
- 9:47Speaker 2: your heels right because you're getting driven back, that would
- 9:51Speaker 2: really be a benefit, which means Eagles would have to
- 9:53Speaker 2: start off with a really good offensive plan. And again,
- 9:55Speaker 2: I think that comes back to being able to run
- 9:57Speaker 2: the football and stay ahead of the sticks.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Brett Toth at left guard, and do you think that
- 10:02Speaker 1: is you know, the the problems that they're having on
- 10:04Speaker 1: the offensive line is stemming from the fact that they
- 10:08Speaker 1: haven't been healthy, and then the reserve guys are not
- 10:12Speaker 1: They don't have the depth that they once had.
- 10:14Speaker 2: They don't and it's clear, you know, Jeff Stealton likes
- 10:19Speaker 2: guys to be comfortable on the side that they play on.
- 10:22Speaker 2: So Matt Pryor has played at every single position except
- 10:25Speaker 2: center in the NFL. But you'll see here he's only
- 10:28Speaker 2: going to play right guard, maybe right tackle. And now
- 10:32Speaker 2: you're seeing with Brett Toath, if they were if everybody
- 10:35Speaker 2: is healthy. And then the right guard came out. Let's
- 10:37Speaker 2: say it was Steen. Pryor would go in, not Toth
- 10:41Speaker 2: because Tothe is a left side player. Same thing with
- 10:44Speaker 2: Fred Johnson. They wanted to be left tackle, not they
- 10:47Speaker 2: don't want to be the right tackle. I think Pryor
- 10:49Speaker 2: came in and played right tackle at one point this
- 10:51Speaker 2: year instead of Fred Johnson. And remember that game and
- 10:54Speaker 2: then they told me, yeah, well right, yeah it didn't
- 10:56Speaker 2: go well. So that's Jeff Stellton philosophy. I'm not here
- 11:00Speaker 2: telling you that I think it's the right one or
- 11:02Speaker 2: the wrong one. That's just what his philosophy is.
- 11:05Speaker 1: All right, Jeff Bocher, Let's take a look at the
- 11:07Speaker 1: Eagles defense, because they're not absolved of all the sins here.
- 11:10Speaker 1: And you know this week, let's start with the pass rush.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Not a lot of sacks, but does that mean they
- 11:17Speaker 1: don't have a good pass rush? How do you see
- 11:19Speaker 1: what their pass rush has been up to this point.
- 11:22Speaker 2: I don't think it's been bad. I think, you know,
- 11:24Speaker 2: there have been some stretches. You know, Stafford had some
- 11:26Speaker 2: time to throw. Certainly, Knicks made some plays, although Knicks
- 11:30Speaker 2: uses athleticism to buy some time. But what they what
- 11:33Speaker 2: they lack to me, Mike is a killer, like a
- 11:38Speaker 2: guy like a Miles Garrick, or even like what Josh
- 11:40Speaker 2: Sweat brought to them last year or Milton Milton Williams
- 11:44Speaker 2: brought to them last year. They've got some good pass
- 11:47Speaker 2: rush out of Zadarius Smith, out of Aziz Ojilaari last week, obviously,
- 11:53Speaker 2: out of Carter at times, out of Jordan Davis at times,
- 11:56Speaker 2: out of Jomo at times, but not with the consistency
- 12:00Speaker 2: that you saw Sweat and Williams just dominate last year.
- 12:04Speaker 2: It seems like the collective some has been pretty good,
- 12:08Speaker 2: but the individual parts, no one's really jumping out as
- 12:12Speaker 2: as a guy who's just winning one on one all
- 12:14Speaker 2: the time and really just causing havoc for an offensive lineman.
- 12:19Speaker 1: So in the grand scheme of things here, defensively, last
- 12:23Speaker 1: week you saw Quinnon Mitchell. He's kind of been the
- 12:26Speaker 1: anchor about there, but it appeared that the Broncos kind
- 12:29Speaker 1: of went after him with those back shoulder throws. And
- 12:33Speaker 1: is that something that if you're these other teams down
- 12:36Speaker 1: the road here, is that something you want to try
- 12:38Speaker 1: to do now against Quinnon Mitchell is get these one
- 12:40Speaker 1: on one back shoulder opportunities because that was a big
- 12:43Speaker 1: weakness in the second half of that game. You hate
- 12:45Speaker 1: to say it.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I mean it's hard to call a back
- 12:48Speaker 2: shoulder catch a weakness of the cornerback because you're there, right.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I mean, the whole point of a back shoulder throw
- 12:57Speaker 2: is to only throw it where your receiver can catch it,
- 12:59Speaker 2: or it go out of bounds, or if you do
- 13:02Speaker 2: it in bounds, it's there's away from the coverage side.
- 13:06Speaker 2: So I've watched the tape. I've talked to Greg Cosel.
- 13:09Speaker 2: He's broken down. It's not like Quinya Mitchell had a
- 13:11Speaker 2: bad game because he was blown away in coverage. He
- 13:14Speaker 2: was there. There were just some really good throws made
- 13:17Speaker 2: against him in this game, and you know, sometimes you're
- 13:20Speaker 2: gonna win those, sometimes you're gonna lose those. It was
- 13:22Speaker 2: just last week where he was making like a diving
- 13:25Speaker 2: pass breakup against I think Chris Godwin right along the
- 13:29Speaker 2: right sideline where he's jarring the ball out of Godwin's
- 13:32Speaker 2: hands as he's in the middle of the air.
- 13:34Speaker 1: So I don't think it was just jarre it was
- 13:36Speaker 1: just jarring to hear that. You know, bo Nix in
- 13:39Speaker 1: the first three quarters was one for twelve on throws
- 13:42Speaker 1: ten yards or more, and then after that he is
- 13:46Speaker 1: four for four and they're all directed right at you,
- 13:48Speaker 1: and it's like, hey, we found something here that we
- 13:51Speaker 1: found a weakness in this guy. You know. It's it's
- 13:53Speaker 1: the drago he you know, look he does bleed, you know.
- 13:55Speaker 1: So that was one concern you got coming out after
- 13:58Speaker 1: looking at some of those numbers. Man four for four
- 14:00Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter on throws ten or more, and
- 14:02Speaker 1: it was all to Courtland. Suttlond just kind of won
- 14:04Speaker 1: on one in him.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yeah, And the best quarterbacks in this league, Mike, are
- 14:08Speaker 2: going to not allow the defense to take a half
- 14:11Speaker 2: football field away. If they believe in their guy the
- 14:14Speaker 2: way Stafford believes in Nicoua or Williams, the way Mayfield
- 14:18Speaker 2: clearly believes in in Igbuka and Godwin. They're gonna in
- 14:23Speaker 2: the way Nick believes and Sutton. They're going to take
- 14:25Speaker 2: their shots when they have shots, even against Quinnyaw Mitchell.
- 14:29Speaker 2: I mean, Sauce Gardner gets tested. Patrick's certain right, he
- 14:32Speaker 2: got tested by A. J. Brown. Gave up a few,
- 14:34Speaker 2: like a few underneath stuff. But J. Jalen hurts trust
- 14:38Speaker 2: a j Brown, and he's gonna throw to him no
- 14:40Speaker 2: matter who's in coverage. So that's eventually that's inevitably gonna
- 14:44Speaker 2: lead a guy to get beat every once in a while.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I have zero concern about QUINNYA.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Mitchell, uh N, Kobe Dean could be back this week.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Jeff Mosher factor not a factor.
- 14:55Speaker 2: What happens here, you know, I'd be very interested to
- 14:58Speaker 2: see what they do the way Vick left up in
- 15:00Speaker 2: the air. I mean, he has not had a practice,
- 15:02Speaker 2: a real, actual full participant in practice because he didn't
- 15:06Speaker 2: He wasn't a full participant at all last week and
- 15:09Speaker 2: this week is nothing but walkthroughs, right, So I think
- 15:13Speaker 2: it's a little bit risky to kind of throw him
- 15:15Speaker 2: out there onto the field, even in a limited capacity,
- 15:18Speaker 2: when he hasn't actually practiced in a real full capacity.
- 15:22Speaker 2: But it's not like this. He's a rookie or second
- 15:25Speaker 2: year player, and maybe there's some kind of role that
- 15:29Speaker 2: he can play on sub packages. We'll see, but it
- 15:33Speaker 2: would be more to me feasible to have him ready
- 15:35Speaker 2: to play the following week when they play what is
- 15:38Speaker 2: it the Vikings next week? I don't even remember, is
- 15:40Speaker 2: that who it is?
- 15:40Speaker 1: Giants Vikings Giants.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that would to me make more sense. But we'll
- 15:44Speaker 2: see what they do.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Jeff Mosher from the Inside the Birds podcast the Giants
- 15:48Speaker 1: to suck a little bit about the game itself in
- 15:50Speaker 1: terms of is this a dangerous opponent or just just
- 15:53Speaker 1: what the doctor ordered.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Well, I accurately predicted them to lose to the Saints,
- 15:59Speaker 2: even though they beat the Chargers, because I felt like
- 16:01Speaker 2: that was sort of the flash in the pan victory
- 16:03Speaker 2: that you get with your new quarterback, and then they're
- 16:07Speaker 2: up fourteen what I think? They were up fourteen to
- 16:09Speaker 2: three on the Saints and they lost twenty six to fourteen.
- 16:11Speaker 2: So in the grand scheme of things, they're still the Giants, right.
- 16:14Speaker 2: I mean, they've got no molik in Abers, Darius Slayton
- 16:18Speaker 2: will be out for this game, so I have no
- 16:19Speaker 2: idea who Jackson Dart plans to throw the ball to.
- 16:22Speaker 2: I mean, he established a nice little rapport with the
- 16:25Speaker 2: tight end Theo Johnson. But I really can't be too
- 16:29Speaker 2: concerned with what the Giants are going to do offensively. Again,
- 16:32Speaker 2: I think this is a good get right game for
- 16:34Speaker 2: the Eagles defensive it needs it. And yes, Andrew Thomas
- 16:37Speaker 2: is back. For the Giants. So they're probably a little
- 16:39Speaker 2: bit better at running the ball and protecting the QB,
- 16:42Speaker 2: but they just don't have a whole lot of weapons.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I mean, if the Eagles defense struggles in this game,
- 16:46Speaker 2: that's that's an indictment.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Well, I'd say it right now. As you say this,
- 16:50Speaker 1: I'm thinking to myself, if anybody out there is worried
- 16:52Speaker 1: about this game, then you got big picture problems. Oh
- 16:55Speaker 1: is this a team that a Super Bowl contending team
- 16:58Speaker 1: should have no problems with?
- 16:59Speaker 2: Right? In fact, I think this will be one of
- 17:01Speaker 2: the games there If the Eagles, for whatever reason, struggle
- 17:05Speaker 2: and only win by seven to ten, I think the
- 17:08Speaker 2: fans will not be happy about that.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I can see that happening. We only won, you know,
- 17:13Speaker 1: twenty four seventeen. They shouldn't given up seventeen points against
- 17:17Speaker 1: this Giants team. But they might have a point about that.
- 17:21Speaker 1: This Giants team is not good. You lost to the Saints.
- 17:25Speaker 1: So we'll see it all unfold. The game is right
- 17:27Speaker 1: here on ninety seven three ESPN. The opening line seven
- 17:30Speaker 1: and a half Philadelphia. It opened up it over under
- 17:34Speaker 1: forty two and a half. That has now dropped to
- 17:35Speaker 1: forty one and a half, so not a lot of points.
- 17:38Speaker 1: It feels like the Eagles offense not getting respected by
- 17:41Speaker 1: the Vegas people as well, so we'll see it all unfold.

- 17:55Speaker 1: I've heard this series has had a lot of fun
- 17:57Speaker 1: games at it in the past. We'll see if Thursday
- 17:59Speaker 1: Night shakes out the same way. Man, We'll talk to
- 18:02Speaker 1: you next week.
- 18:04Speaker 2: All right, my friend, I think the Eagles would like
- 18:05Speaker 2: to win this one without any miracles.
- 18:08Speaker 1: That's right, no miracles that the Meadowlands needed for this
- 18:10Speaker 1: one to take care of. Jeff, all right. Jeff Mosher
