- 6:49Speaker 4: If it's one of the places, it's one of the
- 6:51Speaker 4: things that everybody in the city remembers where they at
- 6:53Speaker 4: when it happened.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Where was you at when you heard that, Mike, I
- 6:56Speaker 1: don't know exactly where I was, but I know how
- 6:58Speaker 1: the fuck it fell?
- 7:01Speaker 2: Shit because at the time, Man, I was bragging on
- 7:05Speaker 2: a coat so much. I'm like, everywhere I went, Man,
- 7:09Speaker 2: I was the only coat fan, you know what I mean?
- 7:11Speaker 1: So you can only imagine how that feel.
- 7:14Speaker 2: And then for your quarterback to bell out on you

- 7:44Speaker 2: Nah man, I'm I'm I'm you know what the Pacers, man,
- 7:48Speaker 2: I love. I've been a Pacer fan since I was
- 7:51Speaker 2: a kid, but I can't keep rooting for those team
- 7:54Speaker 2: that don't go far.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I don't give a damn who it is.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I'm tired, man, you think, oh yeah, I'm war out man,
- 8:03Speaker 2: because I gotta go deal with that ship out in
- 8:05Speaker 2: the regular world. Go get a star, Yeah, go get
- 8:08Speaker 2: some stars and and build the team.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Man.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And a couple of the Pacers know how to build
- 8:14Speaker 1: a team. They didn't have.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Great championship team, and I guess they let that fight
- 8:18Speaker 2: up here in Detroit keep them from picking.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Right.
- 8:22Speaker 2: But you gotta be mill you gotta be mixed them
- 8:26Speaker 2: to the patients. Yeah, right now, you do. But y'all
- 8:30Speaker 2: y'all doing all right. I hate them too, but I
- 8:32Speaker 2: just been you gotta be mixed. You gotta be mixed.
- 8:35Speaker 1: They can't. They can't go to Northwest to play for
- 8:36Speaker 1: the patients.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Y'all star is mixed, so and it makes sense start
- 8:40Speaker 2: celebrating hood and ship. Damn man, you know you gotta
- 8:42Speaker 2: solid All Star. And you know, I think y'all gonna
- 8:45Speaker 2: make the playoffs. St Yeah, they're gonna be good this year.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Holler Burton.
- 8:48Speaker 4: They got bathroom Buddy Hill and Buddy Hill. That should
- 8:51Speaker 4: be all right. They're gonna be solid. Yeah, but I
- 8:54Speaker 4: don't think they're gonna make it to the finals or done.
- 8:55Speaker 2: But what I'm saying, and that's what I'm saying, why
- 8:59Speaker 2: do it? If you're not going to try to? You
- 9:01Speaker 2: gotta go get some veteran players. You gotta go pay
- 9:04Speaker 2: some people. Man, you gotta check out. Man, they get
- 9:08Speaker 2: some ship Mike. They're thinking since the Milwaukee Bucks did it,
- 9:11Speaker 2: you know him and then him? They trying to you
- 9:16Speaker 2: know what I mean? They thinking like ship, we're a
- 9:17Speaker 2: small market, can't we make it straight?
- 9:19Speaker 1: Man? You did get a ring, didn't Yeah? I snuck
- 9:22Speaker 1: out of here with a ring. That's that's all you
- 9:26Speaker 1: can ask for.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Pretty much, pretty much. I guess I mean you wasn't
- 9:33Speaker 4: chasing it either.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I wasn't chasing chasing.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I don't really care to Milwaukee is not chasing.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Were chasing it because I was thinking about going to
- 9:48Speaker 4: the Clippers of Milwaukee, so I wasn't.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Really I'm happy you ain't to the Clippers. I am.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I'm happy me too. I'm glad because we want to
- 9:54Speaker 1: ring about the game. But now he wants to be
- 9:56Speaker 1: a winner.
- 9:57Speaker 4: I mean, I don't care about that ship like, yeah,
- 10:02Speaker 4: I don't think.
- 10:03Speaker 1: About that, but I mean we did win. They did.
- 10:07Speaker 1: I question.
- 10:07Speaker 4: There two cities. We always go back and forth with
- 10:10Speaker 4: what city you put up in first?
- 10:12Speaker 1: Milwaukee?
- 10:14Speaker 3: Are you going to Minnesota?
- 10:17Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna go to Minnesota. I ain't to Minnesota. No,
- 10:22Speaker 1: I'm bed from Minnesota. They ain't like so now did
- 10:26Speaker 1: you play that? Yeah, yeah, we had bad report.
- 10:31Speaker 2: I don't know about the living status. But Milwaukee is
- 10:34Speaker 2: dusty the city, the whole.
- 10:41Speaker 1: City, like Doc Rivers.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Man, I'm telling you that city is rough and the
- 10:49Speaker 2: living conditions ain't you know what I mean?
- 10:52Speaker 1: The whole food is out of town. You gotta go
- 10:54Speaker 1: to Chicago to go what's the worst city you ever
- 11:00Speaker 1: performed there, Gary, Indiana. Yea, at the start on.
- 11:07Speaker 3: The g Lord, shout to my God, I got to
- 11:13Speaker 3: make the picture.
- 11:13Speaker 1: What happened, man? What was going on?
- 11:15Speaker 4: Man?
- 11:15Speaker 1: It was a lot of full length leather coach. It
- 11:21Speaker 1: looked like a wild, wild West. Man, it was. It
- 11:23Speaker 1: was wild the g what I got going on up here?
- 11:28Speaker 1: Had Mike shut up to dress like the matrix.
- 11:31Speaker 2: And man, Gary is no joke, it is. But you
- 11:36Speaker 2: know what, it's a beautiful place. It got some great
- 11:39Speaker 2: people in the city. But the city need to be
- 11:41Speaker 2: gentrified and uh and once the do, it's gonna be
- 11:45Speaker 2: the greatest city in the world.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Man.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Shout out to the new mayor, sir, coming out. Man.
- 11:50Speaker 2: They got a new mayor named brother Eddie, just just
- 11:53Speaker 2: running for mayor. I think he's gonna win, man. And
- 11:56Speaker 2: we're gonna try to get up here in Gary and
- 11:58Speaker 2: try to do something nice for this city.
- 11:59Speaker 1: That's all needs some love.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Man.
- 12:01Speaker 1: But it's a rough town now. Shout to my God.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Man speaking of rebaps in the city.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Man, Like we said, Man, you represent the city better
- 12:12Speaker 4: than like anybody has. And for you to come back
- 12:14Speaker 4: to the city and bring that energy back to the city. Man,
- 12:17Speaker 4: We really appreciate that. We love you to tell the people.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Know what I'm saying. What you got going on in
- 12:20Speaker 4: that right now?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Well, you know what Indianapolis is growing. I remember it
- 12:25Speaker 2: was two buildings downtown. Now there's three. But it's it's
- 12:32Speaker 2: a growing town, man, you know. And I've always did,
- 12:36Speaker 2: you know, habitat work with houses, helping people in the
- 12:40Speaker 2: community and stuff. Most of the stuff I do like that,
- 12:44Speaker 2: I don't really don't tell nobody, man, you know, it's
- 12:46Speaker 2: really close to the hip and it's genuine work.
- 12:49Speaker 1: But I always wanted to bring a.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Performing art school to Indianapolis for at risk youth, you know,
- 13:00Speaker 2: because a lot of these kids they don't they don't
- 13:03Speaker 2: have a they don't have a purpose, man.
- 13:06Speaker 1: So that's why they.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Run around here board trying to figure out who they
- 13:10Speaker 2: are and what they're getting in trouble is because they
- 13:12Speaker 2: really don't have nothing to look forward to. So I
- 13:15Speaker 2: want to bring an art school here so kids can
- 13:18Speaker 2: learn that you don't have to be an actor to
- 13:21Speaker 2: be rich. You can you can be in a craft service.
- 13:25Speaker 2: You can work to film the camera, you can there's
- 13:28Speaker 2: a lot of different jobs in Hollywood that you can
- 13:31Speaker 2: work and learn and make a great living off of Yeah,
- 13:35Speaker 2: you know, I mean like forty to fifty jobs on
- 13:38Speaker 2: a movie that people make lots of monchy and kids
- 13:41Speaker 2: be shocked. They be saying, Damn, I say, yeah, man,
- 13:43Speaker 2: the guy who runs the sound, who holds the boom.
- 13:46Speaker 1: They be rich man and millionaires. Yeah sound.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I'm just saying, you know, it's a lot of different opportunities.
- 13:55Speaker 2: So you know, that's what I want to share and
- 13:59Speaker 2: share with the kids.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Damn, that's far.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Like you said, bring opportunities from the city that you
- 14:04Speaker 4: grew up in, knowing what you know, giving back to
- 14:06Speaker 4: that's fire man.
- 14:07Speaker 3: I got to ask you a question though.
- 14:08Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, How did Indianapolis prepare you
- 14:11Speaker 4: for Hollywood?
- 14:13Speaker 2: Well, you know what, you really don't know it. You know,
- 14:18Speaker 2: if you if you can make it here, you can
- 14:20Speaker 2: make it anywhere. You don't know it until you leave,
- 14:23Speaker 2: you know, because it's so small. You know, your chances
- 14:27Speaker 2: are really, really small. Your opportunity is a slim and
- 14:32Speaker 2: again you have to prove yourself over and over when
- 14:35Speaker 2: you're from here. You know, I had to prove myself
- 14:38Speaker 2: a million times to people because it's not a big market.
- 14:43Speaker 2: You know, and when you say it, people are like,
- 14:47Speaker 2: because they don't have the history on it. It's not
- 14:49Speaker 2: really a cultural history here, not for black people, right.
- 14:54Speaker 1: You know.
- 14:54Speaker 2: So so when you hear about a black man from Minneapolis,
- 14:58Speaker 2: I mean half the people don't even if you say Indianapolis,
- 15:02Speaker 2: they'll say Michael Jackson because they just can't different, different,
- 15:06Speaker 2: different the fact that Gary from it. They just say Indiana.
- 15:10Speaker 2: They say Michael Jackson. But Michael Jackson's not from Minnieapolis.
- 15:14Speaker 2: So you know, it's it has its pros and cons.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I've learned to use it as a you know, it
- 15:21Speaker 2: helps me because I'm like, damn, as soon as they
- 15:25Speaker 2: underestimate me, I'm I'm gone, you know what I mean, Like, Damn,
- 15:30Speaker 2: oh lord, this is sweet.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I don't have the big city pressure on me, you know.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Yeah, And that's what's though for us, Like we're going
- 15:37Speaker 3: right now.
- 15:37Speaker 4: So like for a lot of people out there, they
- 15:39Speaker 4: first be with Adianapolis and we want to represent the city.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Well y'all doing it? Well?
- 15:44Speaker 2: Yeah, well, man, I just seen a clip of y'all
- 15:47Speaker 2: on the Instagram the other day. Man, the little controversial jointy.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yeah that but I like that, man, because that's what
- 15:53Speaker 2: this is about.
- 15:55Speaker 1: It's out.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's about it's about, you know, raising the hairs
- 15:59Speaker 2: up on people.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Was arms man ship, get off your feelings, have fun.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and it'd be like legitimates that niggas have at
- 16:07Speaker 2: barbershops anyway.
- 16:08Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't have to agree, absolutely absolutely. People take that.
- 16:12Speaker 2: As a as as an argument or this, but yeah,
- 16:16Speaker 2: you don't have to agree with nobody. If you don't
- 16:18Speaker 2: like something, you don't like it. Yeah, but we ain't
- 16:20Speaker 2: hating on nobody. That's why I be trying to tell
- 16:22Speaker 2: people to something you don't like.
- 16:24Speaker 4: You might like the way I might like James Harden,
- 16:27Speaker 4: but he ain't throwing no slight.
- 16:29Speaker 1: As James because it's not like the way. More know.
- 16:32Speaker 1: That's people take that ship out. They both go, We
- 16:34Speaker 1: just right, which one you prefer? Legends?
- 16:37Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty much, but might back to you. Man, I
- 16:40Speaker 4: gotta ask a question. You've done so many things in
- 16:43Speaker 4: your career. What's one role or one thing that she
- 16:46Speaker 4: was like, Damn, I almost had it. I wish I
- 16:49Speaker 4: had it.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Oh, I definitely was wanted to play a full richer
- 16:57Speaker 2: prior movie. I got a chance to play them in
- 16:59Speaker 2: it a couple of different times but I wanted to
- 17:02Speaker 2: play a full with your prior movie, you know, by
- 17:05Speaker 2: a bio pick. But I played it in a winning
- 17:08Speaker 2: time about the Lakers fireshow yeah. And I played it
- 17:12Speaker 2: a little bit in a Nina Simone movie, so I
- 17:15Speaker 2: got a chance to play them a little bit, but
- 17:17Speaker 2: not a full movie.
- 17:19Speaker 4: I remember you doing interview somebody, how you was locked
- 17:21Speaker 4: into the role and how you got that mold for
- 17:23Speaker 4: you doing so many different types of cinema, And obviously
- 17:26Speaker 4: do you have some movies where it's just like, that's
- 17:28Speaker 4: Mike Epps as a character. How's it for you to
- 17:30Speaker 4: be like, all right, I need to get into this character.
- 17:32Speaker 4: How long does it take you to come back to
- 17:34Speaker 4: Mike Epps.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Well, I'm always me. Now, I ain't gonna never just
- 17:37Speaker 2: go all the way away from me. But but I
- 17:41Speaker 2: always picking and add some nuances of whoever that character is.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Because the story itself, if you tell it in an
- 17:50Speaker 2: acting form, it's gonna you you're gonna turn it into
- 17:53Speaker 2: someone else as long as you following the story, you know,
- 17:57Speaker 2: and you adding a few little thing character pieces.
- 17:59Speaker 1: But you know, I really don't never go away too far.

- 36:14Speaker 2: were clubs. Yeah you know what I mean. It was
- 36:18Speaker 2: just extra walking around in the club naked.
- 36:20Speaker 1: They still clubs.
- 36:23Speaker 4: That made me think of something, Mike. When you got
- 36:25Speaker 4: your first real payday, you look at that count. It's
- 36:27Speaker 4: up what you burn your first bread on?
- 36:31Speaker 1: Oh quarter keylo ten pounds?
- 36:43Speaker 2: No, man, you know what I bought my mother washingt drive. Man,
- 36:48Speaker 2: My mother needed to washing drive buy my mother washingt drive.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's real. Yeah. I bought my mother because I'm
- 36:55Speaker 1: from dirt. Man.
- 36:56Speaker 2: I came from nothing, So you know, I ain't gonna
- 36:59Speaker 2: be there sugar coating nothing about what I.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Did with my money. I bought my mama washing.
- 37:04Speaker 2: And dry, paid a couple of my bills off, you
- 37:07Speaker 2: know what I mean, got a couple of my teeth fixed.
- 37:11Speaker 4: Tooths, got them fixed. Yeah, but she was was ahead
- 37:14Speaker 4: of time. You you didn't get the big veneers like
- 37:16Speaker 4: the raffers getting now.
- 37:17Speaker 2: No, I got a couple, but they ain't like no,
- 37:20Speaker 2: they I had a couple left.
- 37:24Speaker 1: These dudes didn't have none.
- 37:26Speaker 2: They just the whole thing, with the whole chunky cheese.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I feel sure, smile. I said, man, what's going on?
- 37:36Speaker 4: Scrappy shit crazy, you know what I mean.
- 37:40Speaker 1: So I did the right thing with the money. I
- 37:43Speaker 1: think that that's cool, man.
- 37:45Speaker 4: But I couldn't imagine, like you said, grinding the way
- 37:47Speaker 4: you did. And then for you doing comedy, that's a
- 37:51Speaker 4: different attention from movies.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Which one did you prefer to do?
- 37:54Speaker 4: Like I would say, probably your favorite movie or your
- 37:58Speaker 4: Netflix special for comedy.
- 37:59Speaker 1: When you came to the crib, you know what, Man.
- 38:02Speaker 2: They both serve each other. If I'm doing stand up comedy, it'll.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Make me good in the movie.
- 38:11Speaker 2: If I'm doing movies, it'll make people come out to
- 38:14Speaker 2: see me do stand up.
- 38:16Speaker 1: So they both service each other.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Man, you know, so I really really need both of them,
- 38:22Speaker 2: and one.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Is not stronger than the other. That's dope.
- 38:25Speaker 4: I would say, Well, I guess when you get into
- 38:28Speaker 4: that mode of you know what I'm saying, all right,
- 38:29Speaker 4: I'm about tap into my comedy band, about to get
- 38:31Speaker 4: on stage. I'm about to go warm up. What's your inspiration?
- 38:33Speaker 4: Like you hit a couple of cities and get you
- 38:35Speaker 4: know what I'm saying, Just test the ideas, or you're
- 38:37Speaker 4: just like, all right, I'm locked down for a month.
- 38:38Speaker 4: Ain't talking to nobody. Y'all see me when I get
- 38:40Speaker 4: to it.
- 38:41Speaker 2: No, man, I I'm I'm a natural comic, so I
- 38:44Speaker 2: really don't have to prepare like most comics do. It's
- 38:49Speaker 2: because I Man, I perform fifty two weekends out the year.
- 38:54Speaker 2: I'm always out on the road. I'm always doing six
- 38:57Speaker 2: seven shows in the city. Damn you know, Oh yeah,
- 39:00Speaker 2: I do. I do two shows on Friday, two show,
- 39:03Speaker 2: Saturday two show, Sunday. By the time it's time for
- 39:06Speaker 2: me to shoot a movie or shoot a special ship,
- 39:09Speaker 2: I'm on fire because I never stopped working, you know,
- 39:14Speaker 2: I'm always working on it. And that's and that's another
- 39:17Speaker 2: thing like with the the young comics that's on TikTok
- 39:20Speaker 2: and stuff like that. They don't work hard, so they
- 39:24Speaker 2: really burned out quick you see them, and then they
- 39:27Speaker 2: just disappear or they can't act. Is when it's time
- 39:30Speaker 2: to put them in a movie, they're really not that
- 39:33Speaker 2: good because they really haven't worked on it long enough.
- 39:37Speaker 3: What you said, that's the big difference between how you did.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Well, yeah, they you did it.
- 39:43Speaker 3: I kind of movie. You know what I'm saying.
- 39:45Speaker 4: Your favorite character is yeah, babyder Come on, how was it?
- 39:51Speaker 4: Nobody say that now? Say that? Nobody say that now?
- 39:55Speaker 1: Not no, nothing.
- 39:58Speaker 4: The difference between you and the first movie and been
- 40:00Speaker 4: doing the sequel where you got some of the newer guys,
- 40:02Speaker 4: I'm sure the acting level was a little bit different,
- 40:03Speaker 4: like you said, because of that, it's a successful my
- 40:06Speaker 4: living room instead of having to go through the trial
- 40:08Speaker 4: air with the fire.
- 40:09Speaker 2: It is because you're sitting there, sitting there across from
- 40:13Speaker 2: somebody who's you know, really new at it.
- 40:16Speaker 1: M hm. You know how that feel? Man? Yeah, when
- 40:19Speaker 1: you're a rookie and it's like being a rookie in the.
- 40:21Speaker 4: NBA, you're going to going into somebody who been in
- 40:25Speaker 4: the league for fifteen years and go and get somebody
- 40:26Speaker 4: the first year completely different.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure.
- 40:31Speaker 2: I wanted to ask you, I always see Ice cubas
- 40:34Speaker 2: being serious? Is he really always that serious?
- 40:37Speaker 1: Like?
- 40:37Speaker 2: Even so, man, okay, Ice Cube is he's a He's
- 40:42Speaker 2: a serious businessman.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Oh for sure.
- 40:47Speaker 2: So I think I think that's the side of him
- 40:50Speaker 2: that people perceive as being, you know, serious.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and I had a two parts or two I
- 40:57Speaker 1: was always business. But you know he's got.
- 41:01Speaker 4: Now. But I'm saying that's a crazy too. YEA was
- 41:09Speaker 4: a regular.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Living he's a sick nigga because there was a raynigs living.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Niggas that movie. How did y'all how did you and
- 41:24Speaker 1: Q like first link up?
- 41:26Speaker 4: Man?
- 41:26Speaker 1: You know what me and C was? I was performing.
- 41:32Speaker 2: On sun set at the Comedy Store and one of
- 41:36Speaker 2: my little partners, Baby Loney Rest in Peace, he was
- 41:39Speaker 2: telling people he was managing me. Uh, and I got
- 41:41Speaker 2: off stage and he said, man, Ce want to let you.
- 41:45Speaker 2: I'm like, what I thought even lying I seen Cube,
- 41:48Speaker 2: I'm like, damn, I like, you know, you really don't
- 41:52Speaker 2: say you know, you say you're not star struggle boy.
- 41:55Speaker 2: When you see somebody like an ice Cube when you're young,
- 41:58Speaker 2: just to do something to you.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I was like, damn, you know.
- 42:02Speaker 2: So he put me through the audition process and I
- 42:06Speaker 2: got the role.
- 42:06Speaker 1: But it wasn't easy.
- 42:08Speaker 2: I auditioned for it for like a month, and he
- 42:10Speaker 2: went out of town and went to went on a
- 42:13Speaker 2: vacation and came back and I got the row.
- 42:15Speaker 4: That's good. Yeah, okay, that's crazy. Was fighting right day
- 42:20Speaker 4: they thirty years ago. That's crazy. And people probably still
- 42:25Speaker 4: call you that when you out there.
- 42:26Speaker 1: They had my uncle Aeron is my nigga.
- 42:40Speaker 6: The other day, get your hand out my ship about me?
- 42:47Speaker 6: Let me him created the run back to Us column.
- 42:52Speaker 6: Is crazy.
- 42:55Speaker 1: That's one of the nastiest things I ever seen in
- 43:00Speaker 1: the direction.
- 43:02Speaker 4: That's the first DVD I ever had. I swear to God.
- 43:06Speaker 4: Next Friday, first.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Ye when I first Sai, I didn't even know you
- 43:09Speaker 2: was from that. When I found out, we spun that
- 43:11Speaker 2: ship back over and over a p what haven't Yeah,
- 43:18Speaker 2: I left Indianapolis when I was twenty years old one
- 43:22Speaker 2: and move to New York. We lived in New York
- 43:25Speaker 2: for twelve years and then I've been living in yuh.
- 43:30Speaker 1: In uh l a okay.
- 43:32Speaker 2: The first place I went with Chicago, Oh damn the
- 43:36Speaker 2: block that was.
- 43:37Speaker 1: The first place I went. And I went.
- 43:41Speaker 2: And stayed up in Chicago and went to all the
- 43:45Speaker 2: comedy clubs from me and Kenny half okay, stayed there
- 43:49Speaker 2: for I realized I don't need to be here because
- 43:51Speaker 2: this ain't what the business is. Then I moved to Atlanta,
- 43:55Speaker 2: stayed for a year, and left Atlanta and moved and
- 43:59Speaker 2: moved to New York State. In New York for twelve years,
- 44:02Speaker 2: but I didn't know them cities. You couldn't make be
- 44:04Speaker 2: a star there. I thought you could go to Chicago
- 44:07Speaker 2: and become a star. But the business is not in
- 44:10Speaker 2: no city, right business you? The business wasn't even in
- 44:14Speaker 2: New York, damn. Not for what I did ultimately real

- 44:22Speaker 2: and in your comic, if you if you're not on
- 44:25Speaker 2: Saturday Night Live, you ain't on TV. Okay, because they
- 44:29Speaker 2: don't have a lot of shows in New York that
- 44:31Speaker 2: makes sense. But it's a great boot camp for a
- 44:36Speaker 2: comedian because it's raw up there. Yeah, that's why I
- 44:40Speaker 2: thought you right everything on your craft.
- 44:45Speaker 1: They shrewd.
- 44:48Speaker 4: I gotta ask man that you say you performed at

- 45:02Speaker 2: they had they okay, the showcase.
- 45:05Speaker 1: I was a guest comedian.
- 45:07Speaker 4: You went on the audition. I couldn't imagine that. That's
- 45:10Speaker 4: a different type of pressure.
- 45:11Speaker 1: They were still wrong.
- 45:12Speaker 4: They was born gospel artist. That's how knew what different
- 45:14Speaker 4: you're born Jesus y'all.

- 55:34Speaker 1: You you above and beyond that?
- 55:38Speaker 4: Oh no, you don't need to be on it, but
- 55:39Speaker 4: you need to see some of that ship that's on there.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Got an app like.
- 55:45Speaker 4: TV though, it's like bro Netflix type ship version version
- 55:54Speaker 4: of Netflix paper Soldiers and ship would have been on there. Yeah.
- 55:59Speaker 2: See the thing about that is, you know, I don't
- 56:03Speaker 2: want to look at some ship that's not a quality because.
- 56:07Speaker 1: I don't believe it or not. You can ruin your
- 56:10Speaker 1: lands with that ship. You don't go to.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Do in your own lands like you can ruin yourself
- 56:19Speaker 2: looking at low quality ship. When it's time for me
- 56:22Speaker 2: to go do it, you find yourself You're like, where
- 56:26Speaker 2: the fuck did I pick that bullshit up at?
- 56:30Speaker 1: I'm just being honest to anything. Now. That's a fact. Though.
- 56:34Speaker 4: If you can watch basketball like that, you start watching
- 56:37Speaker 4: poor basketball, you're fucking around stird.
- 56:39Speaker 2: That's real, right, Okay, that's real man. You you gotta
- 56:42Speaker 2: be careful of what you consume because it is.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:47Speaker 2: Is that your next movie that you're working on though
- 56:49Speaker 2: with Kevin Hardening? Where you got something else in?
- 56:51Speaker 1: Now? I got a movie coming out with Snoop Dogg
- 56:53Speaker 1: called Underdogs.
- 56:54Speaker 2: It's about his uh football league, Okay, and I'm playing
- 56:59Speaker 2: one of the coaches. That's love though, Yeah, it's still yeah,
- 57:02Speaker 2: I'm still I'm still appreciative of it. And I did
- 57:04Speaker 2: another movie what's not late than coming out called Young,
- 57:07Speaker 2: Wild and Free.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Pretty good movie.
- 57:10Speaker 4: So they got a Hollywood strike right now. I was
- 57:15Speaker 4: gonna ask you for writers, the writers in the actors
- 57:18Speaker 4: as well. With us having such a prominent space on YouTube,
- 57:22Speaker 4: you think a lot of like comedians and entertainers are
- 57:24Speaker 4: gonna probably transition to other things while this is going on,
- 57:27Speaker 4: because like obviously with you being.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Were we only want working y'all.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Me people who have these type of jobs are the
- 57:34Speaker 2: only ones working right now. We're fortunate enough to be
- 57:38Speaker 2: able to do it because you know, everybody else is
- 57:40Speaker 2: under the union, and man, we don't know what this
- 57:43Speaker 2: thing is gonna do. Man, you know, they they fighting
- 57:45Speaker 2: for residuals, they fighting for wages, money.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Because the streamers they don't want to give up anything.
- 57:56Speaker 2: They figured out a way where they don't have to
- 57:58Speaker 2: pay people, and and now.
- 58:02Speaker 1: They figure out trying to figure out a way to
- 58:04Speaker 1: replace your ass.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Yeah, they got this ai situation in the movie business.
- 58:11Speaker 2: And you know, once they start uh implicating that in
- 58:17Speaker 2: our businesses, it's.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Over with anyway. You know.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Now Now now people's people, people's jobs are gonna have
- 58:25Speaker 2: to be associated with working with that.
- 58:28Speaker 1: If you're not working with that, you don't have a job.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Many ship the devil boy.
- 58:34Speaker 4: No, it's crazy because like even with musicians, you're here
- 58:37Speaker 4: a song, you be like, he didn't make that song.
- 58:40Speaker 1: They made this on the keyboard. But it sounds like
- 58:42Speaker 1: you see.
- 58:42Speaker 2: What they realize, what they don't realize. What that is
- 58:45Speaker 2: is that nobody with real substance is gonna want to
- 58:51Speaker 2: listen to some fake shit. But if my mind is
- 58:54Speaker 2: clicking to me telling me that that ain't the real dress,
- 58:57Speaker 2: I'm not listening to that.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Ship.
- 58:59Speaker 3: You can't you can't imitate.
- 59:01Speaker 1: So yeah, I don't want to hear it, man, you know.
- 59:05Speaker 2: So that's what that's where they at in Hollywood with
- 59:08Speaker 2: it man, And we just got to figure out different
- 59:11Speaker 2: ways to bring some income in.
- 59:14Speaker 1: Man.
- 59:15Speaker 2: It's a million ways to make money out here. You
- 59:17Speaker 2: gotta buckle down and figure it out.
- 59:20Speaker 1: A great you know. All right?
- 59:22Speaker 4: Well, I got a question. I'm a hope you hoped

- 59:36Speaker 2: Hey, I would say Reggie might be one of one
- 59:42Speaker 2: of one of my favorite five because I'm from Indiana.
- 59:45Speaker 2: He always represented us and I always, you know, rooted
- 59:51Speaker 2: for Reggie.
- 59:52Speaker 1: He's definitely one of my five. I got. I gotta
- 59:55Speaker 1: have somebody from Indiana in my five.

- 1:00:13Speaker 2: And you know what, one thing about Dominique he was

- 1:00:22Speaker 2: wasn't like nobody. He wasn't and he I mean, I
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: mean he's really damn near. He played different from any
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: player I ever seen ever play. His jump shot was different.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: He had an ugly jump shot, just went in. It
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: was like, yeah, it was. He walked like Kenny Smith. Now.
