- 3:11Speaker 1: for tonight is tell your heart that the fear of
- 3:16Speaker 1: suffering is worse than the suffering itself, and that no
- 3:22Speaker 1: heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of
- 3:27Speaker 1: his dreams, because every second of the search is a
- 3:33Speaker 1: second encounter with God and eternally eternally to eternity. And
- 3:42Speaker 1: so if you're here for the first time, welcome, Welcome, Welcome,
- 3:47Speaker 1: We welcome you, We welcome you to the Cruel Podcast.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Let me try to set this up.
- 4:00Speaker 3: We welcome you.
- 4:01Speaker 1: We welcome you to the true podcast and inspirational moments
- 4:07Speaker 1: with properties teeth and tonight, I'm gonna talk about I
- 4:12Speaker 1: might be struggling, but I'm still women Sewod Corinthians four
- 4:22Speaker 1: seven to nine, verse seven. But we have this treasure
- 4:28Speaker 1: and earthly vessels, that the excess lead of the power
- 4:33Speaker 1: may be of God and not of us. We are troubled,
- 4:38Speaker 1: called glory be to God. We are troubled on every side.
- 4:48Speaker 1: We are distressed. We are perfected but not in despair,
- 4:54Speaker 1: persecuted but not forsaken, cast down but not destroyed. Ah,
- 5:02Speaker 1: I'm struggling, but I'm still winning. My brothers and sisters,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I am reminded of a story. Once upon a time,
- 5:14Speaker 1: a daughter complained to her father that her life was
- 5:18Speaker 1: miserable and that she didn't know how she was going
- 5:23Speaker 1: to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling
- 5:28Speaker 1: all the time. It seemed like jess as one problem
- 5:33Speaker 1: was sobbed. Another one soon followed. Her father, a chef,
- 5:39Speaker 1: took her into the kitchen. He filled three pots with
- 5:43Speaker 1: water and placed each on a high fire. Once the
- 5:48Speaker 1: three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot,
- 5:53Speaker 1: eggs in the second pot, and ground coffee beans in
- 5:58Speaker 1: the third pot. He then let them sit and boil
- 6:02Speaker 1: without saying a word to his daughter. The daughter moaned
- 6:09Speaker 1: and impatiently waiting, wondering what was he doing. After twenty minutes,
- 6:16Speaker 1: he turned off the burners. He took the potatoes out
- 6:20Speaker 1: the pot and placed them in the bowl. He pulled
- 6:23Speaker 1: the eggs out and placed them in the bowl. He
- 6:27Speaker 1: then laid the coffee out and placed it in a cup.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Turn it to her, He asked us daughter, what do
- 6:34Speaker 1: you see potatoes, eggs in coffee? She hastily replied, looked closer,
- 6:41Speaker 1: he said, and touched the potatoes. She did and noticed
- 6:46Speaker 1: they were sore. He then asked her to take an
- 6:50Speaker 1: egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she
- 6:55Speaker 1: observed the hard, boorn egg. Finally, he asked up to
- 7:00Speaker 1: sip the coffee. The rich aroma bought a smile to
- 7:05Speaker 1: a face. Father, what does this all? Mean, she asked.
- 7:11Speaker 1: He then explained the potatoes, the eggs, and the coffee
- 7:16Speaker 1: beans each faced the same adversity the boiling water. However,
- 7:23Speaker 1: each one acted differently. The potato went in strong, hard,
- 7:31Speaker 1: and unrelentant, but in boiling water it became soft and weak.
- 7:37Speaker 1: The egg was fragile, with a thin outer shell protecting
- 7:42Speaker 1: its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Then the inside of the egg became hard. However, the
- 7:52Speaker 1: ground coffee beans were real unique. After they were exposed
- 7:58Speaker 1: to the boiling water, they changed the water and created
- 8:03Speaker 1: something new. Which one are you, he asks his daughter,
- 8:09Speaker 1: When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond?
- 8:13Speaker 1: Are you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean?
- 8:20Speaker 1: Things happen around us, things happen to us, But the
- 8:24Speaker 1: only thing that truly matters is how you choose to
- 8:28Speaker 1: react to it and what you make out of it.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Life is all about leaning, adopting, and converting all the
- 8:36Speaker 1: struggles that we have experienced and something positive. Another story,
- 8:44Speaker 1: a man came across a cocoon of the empire one.
- 8:50Speaker 1: He decided to take the cocoon home because he wanted
- 8:54Speaker 1: to watch the morph emerge from it. One day, as
- 8:58Speaker 1: he was walking past the cocoon, he saw a tiny
- 9:03Speaker 1: opening and the cocon so he pulled up a chair
- 9:08Speaker 1: and he sat down and watched for several hours the
- 9:13Speaker 1: morph struggling. Deciding that something was wrong, he got his
- 9:18Speaker 1: knife and cut the remaining bits of the cacoon. The
- 9:24Speaker 1: morph emerged easily. The body was large and swollen, its
- 9:30Speaker 1: wings was tiny and swiveled. The man expected that in
- 9:35Speaker 1: a couple of hours those wings were spread out into
- 9:39Speaker 1: their natural beauty, but they didn't. Instead of that morph
- 9:45Speaker 1: becoming a creature from three to five the more than
- 9:49Speaker 1: the rest of his life, dragging around on his swollen
- 9:53Speaker 1: body and swivel wings. What the man didn't know was
- 9:59Speaker 1: that the constru think of Kum and the struggle necessary
- 10:04Speaker 1: to get through that tiny opening, was God's way of
- 10:08Speaker 1: forcing fluid from the Morth's body into the morph wings.
- 10:14Speaker 1: The verst of while snip from the man was really cruelty,
- 10:18Speaker 1: cruelty to the Morth. Sometimes struggle is exactly what is needed.
- 10:25Speaker 1: It is due struggle that many of us discover our wings.
- 10:31Speaker 1: It is due struggle that many of us learn how
- 10:36Speaker 1: to fly and the sport of boxing. They are all
- 10:42Speaker 1: kinds of ways that a boxer could be considerably technically
- 10:48Speaker 1: knocked out. If the box is knocked down and I'm
- 10:52Speaker 1: able to get to his feet and gain his ass
- 10:55Speaker 1: as balanced in his composure before the reference recounts intent,
- 11:01Speaker 1: he is considered knocked out. When he gets to his feed,
- 11:06Speaker 1: he's given us standing a count. If the referee feels
- 11:10Speaker 1: that the fight is no longer is on his feet
- 11:15Speaker 1: but in no condition to continue to continue to fight,
- 11:19Speaker 1: the referee will call stop the game, and the boxer
- 11:24Speaker 1: is considerably technically knocked out. But isn't it good to
- 11:30Speaker 1: know that no matter how many times we get knocked down,
- 11:35Speaker 1: just as long as we get back up again. And
- 11:38Speaker 1: the good thing about that thing is that when we
- 11:42Speaker 1: do get back up again, we may not have our
- 11:45Speaker 1: full balance and composure, But the more the mere effort
- 11:50Speaker 1: of us trying to get up grabs God media attention.
- 11:56Speaker 1: I might be struggling, but I'm still winning our first
- 12:02Speaker 1: to get to make up God, sit up straight, opportunity
- 12:08Speaker 1: to show up. The Bible teaches us that in our
- 12:12Speaker 1: wee can state that God is strong when we knocked
- 12:17Speaker 1: down in life by some trivelation, some disappointment, by some
- 12:24Speaker 1: heartbreak by trials we go through every day, but as
- 12:29Speaker 1: long as we get back up, the fighters not over.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I'm looking at the night at a line full of fighters.
- 12:40Speaker 1: You may not know that you are a fighter, ah,
- 12:44Speaker 1: but just the simple fact that you're here and holding
- 12:48Speaker 1: on despite all the hell that you've been through her.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I'm struggling, but I'm still winning. I've been through her
- 12:58Speaker 1: a life of trials and trivelation. I've been knocked down
- 13:05Speaker 1: in the fight, hallelujah, but I haven't giving up. Don't
- 13:13Speaker 1: get me wrong. It pays to be prayed up. It
- 13:18Speaker 1: prays to study and learn the world, because that's your turning.
- 13:24Speaker 1: And it's according to how well a fighter that determines
- 13:30Speaker 1: that he can recover from a serious knockdown. It's not
- 13:35Speaker 1: that we've never been beaten now, but we've never been
- 13:39Speaker 1: ugly defeated. We may lose a battle, but we're not
- 13:44Speaker 1: gonna lose the war. You might be knocked down, but
- 13:50Speaker 1: you're not knocked out. For the Bible says that the
- 13:55Speaker 1: steps of a good man are ordered her body the Lord.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Though he falls, he is not utterly destroyed. That is
- 14:06Speaker 1: there anybody in here that's like me? You know how
- 14:12Speaker 1: you gonna make it, Hew, you know how you're gonna
- 14:16Speaker 1: win the fight? Now. Not only am I a fighter,
- 14:20Speaker 1: but I'm a survivor. Are there any survivors on this line?
- 14:26Speaker 1: I'm like just these child song, I'm a survivor. I
- 14:31Speaker 1: ain't gonna give up. I'm not gonna stop for I'm
- 14:35Speaker 1: gonna work harder. I'm a survivor. I'm gonna make it.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Some of you got the excuse? He ah that death survivors.
- 14:48Speaker 1: We're about where God and we're excited about why God
- 14:53Speaker 1: is bringing us alf and what He's doing in our life.
- 14:57Speaker 1: But after all the hell, oh we've been through, we
- 15:02Speaker 1: still he a green Angela. I said, oh the hell
- 15:08Speaker 1: you've been through? How you're still here?
- 15:11Speaker 3: Uh?
- 15:12Speaker 1: We still have all right mind? How we still have
- 15:17Speaker 1: by joy and no matter what, we can get our
- 15:21Speaker 1: praise on now. Oh what better this person to talk
- 15:26Speaker 1: about being knocked down but not out. Ah?
- 15:31Speaker 3: Then poor the.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Authoritexts at one point in his life he dealt with
- 15:38Speaker 1: an issue he had.
- 15:39Speaker 3: He had a thorn in his flesh.
- 15:43Speaker 1: And to keep me from being bumped up and too
- 15:47Speaker 1: much leading by the seeding group, greatness of these revelations
- 15:53Speaker 1: that was giving me a thorn in the flesh, a
- 15:57Speaker 1: messenger of Satan to racking and buffal and harass me
- 16:02Speaker 1: to keep me from becoming.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Accessively absorbed.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Three times I call upon the Lord and besought him
- 16:14Speaker 1: about this, and beg me him to take this from me.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I don't know if you realize it is, but you
- 16:24Speaker 1: are out every day trying to figure out what life
- 16:28Speaker 1: is all about.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Everybody, whether the case.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Is stated, are trying to figure out what life is about.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Does life as a parent? Are there any designs to life?
- 16:42Speaker 1: I thought I ought to tell you tonight that you
- 16:46Speaker 1: will misread life if you think life is a picnic.
- 16:51Speaker 1: You will misread life. If you think life is a party. No, no, no, no, no,
- 16:59Speaker 1: I would know you what life is. Life is a struggle,
- 17:04Speaker 1: and that is what it is. It's a struggle. It's
- 17:08Speaker 1: a struggle from the time we are born until the
- 17:12Speaker 1: die and we die. It's a struggle. Is a struggle. Ah,
- 17:18Speaker 1: that's what some of your can't say, ain't man right now.
- 17:22Speaker 1: It's a struggle. That's why some of you can't weigh
- 17:26Speaker 1: your hand right now. It's a struggle. Life is a struggle.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I'm struggling, but I'm still winning. I'm still winning. Children
- 17:40Speaker 1: are vollied Bailey boy in and right at the point
- 17:43Speaker 1: of life, there's a struggle between life and death right
- 17:48Speaker 1: there the birth canal. There's a struggle. That's why we
- 17:53Speaker 1: ask women actually give birth. We always ask how is
- 17:57Speaker 1: the baby? Then we ask how is the mother? And
- 18:01Speaker 1: so acting we realize that there's been a struggle, and
- 18:05Speaker 1: that the infant struggles to crawl, then lay on the
- 18:09Speaker 1: infant struggles to walker. Life is a struggle, and I
- 18:14Speaker 1: need to tell you that you will never understand life
- 18:19Speaker 1: until you see it as a struggle, a struggle that
- 18:23Speaker 1: tied in when I fatcy to supper. Some days are
- 18:28Speaker 1: good and some days are bad. I'm thinking about the
- 18:33Speaker 1: song I won't complain. My head hangs low, hallelujah. Why
- 18:43Speaker 1: so much pain? But God knows what's good for me.
- 18:50Speaker 1: God knows what's best for me. Excuse me, and my
- 18:58Speaker 1: good days outweigh my bad days up, so I won't complain.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Huh oh, I feel like bridges the night. See.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Life is divided into five quarters, uh zer.
- 19:14Speaker 3: The sevent is the first quarter, seventy.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Five to thirty five is the second quarter, thirty six
- 19:23Speaker 1: to fifty two is the third quarter, sixty three fifty
- 19:29Speaker 1: three to seventy is the fourth quarter and seventy one
- 19:34Speaker 1: and up is Over time, the average man lives seventy
- 19:38Speaker 1: four years. That is actual approcicly eight hundred and eighty
- 19:44Speaker 1: eight months. That is three thousand and forty eight weeks
- 19:52Speaker 1: twenty seven thousand and ten days. Oh, hallelujah. I'm struggling,
- 19:59Speaker 1: but I'm still winning.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Is all the struggles.
- 20:04Speaker 1: And the reason we can win in the midst of
- 20:08Speaker 1: the struggle is that because of the treasure that God
- 20:14Speaker 1: has put in earthly vessels. First John four and four,
- 20:19Speaker 1: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome, hallelujah them,
- 20:25Speaker 1: because greater is He that is in you than he
- 20:31Speaker 1: that is in the world.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Then he went on to.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Go a reverend preach, Brother Paul, let us tell all
- 20:40Speaker 1: who's that rom eight thirty one Romans. How shall we
- 20:44Speaker 1: say to these things? Ah, if God before us, who
- 20:51Speaker 1: can be against us? We have the dwelling presence of God.
- 20:56Speaker 1: False says in our text. We are troubled on every side,
- 21:00Speaker 1: fault that when I look to the left, there is trouble.
- 21:05Speaker 3: When I look to.
- 21:06Speaker 1: The right, there is trouble. When I look in front
- 21:10Speaker 1: of me, how there is trouble. When I look in
- 21:14Speaker 1: the back of me, there is trouble, fault. We are
- 21:19Speaker 1: troubled on every side, but we are not distressed because
- 21:25Speaker 1: we still have hope. And our hope is in Jesus Christ.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I have discovered that you don't have to find trouble
- 21:36Speaker 1: because trouble will find you. And it amazing how trouble
- 21:41Speaker 1: will drive down your street, back up in your driveway,
- 21:47Speaker 1: getting out of his vehicle, and walk right into your
- 21:51Speaker 1: house without even knocking. You don't have to find trouble
- 21:57Speaker 1: because trouble will find you. And the second thing I
- 22:01Speaker 1: noticed about trouble is that God does his best work
- 22:07Speaker 1: in the midst of trouble. Oh can I call on
- 22:12Speaker 1: tonight a few biblical witnesses. I feel like preaching the
- 22:19Speaker 1: night Well he had comes Moses. I hear Moses saying
- 22:25Speaker 1: a minister. I had a watery grave in front of me.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I had farrel behind me, and God told me to
- 22:35Speaker 1: stretch out my brid And when I stretched out my water,
- 22:40Speaker 1: he came down and put the wind in a full
- 22:44Speaker 1: nelson and made a freeway right down my red sea.
- 22:50Speaker 1: God does some of his best work in the midst
- 22:55Speaker 1: of troubles, Oh, how do I see now a minus
- 23:01Speaker 1: Here comes up the three Hebrew boys a head, a
- 23:06Speaker 1: Hebrew boy saying, well, minister, never Conza to what's into
- 23:12Speaker 1: a fiery furnace. But what whenever Coza failed to realize
- 23:17Speaker 1: that is that Jesus is a present helper in the
- 23:22Speaker 1: trime of trouble. He came and showed up as a firefire.
- 23:28Speaker 1: He took the flames out of the fire, and he
- 23:32Speaker 1: turned the furnace into a fellowship. Gold of God does
- 23:38Speaker 1: some of his best work cup in the middle.
- 23:42Speaker 3: All my troubles.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Oh say, some of y'all still want to argue with me.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Ah, let me tell you.
- 23:52Speaker 1: When I was in Good Samaritan Hospital and the doctors
- 23:57Speaker 1: said they had did or they can do. They called
- 24:02Speaker 1: my family to my bedside and said it won't be
- 24:09Speaker 1: lone now, hallelujah, she gotta transition a night.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Glory be to God.
- 24:19Speaker 1: But while I was in my sick room, Jesus showed
- 24:26Speaker 1: up and showed out. They said I was gonna need
- 24:30Speaker 1: a ventilator to breathe, but God had me on his
- 24:36Speaker 1: personal ventilator. Glory be the God. And here I am
- 24:41Speaker 1: about four years later, I don't look like what I've
- 24:46Speaker 1: been through. Well, wait a minute, he comes Daniel. Well
- 24:52Speaker 1: hear Daniel say, well, minister. They threw me in the
- 24:58Speaker 1: ninth then for praying, but the King set me free.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Hollay Luijah, Holaylujah. Glory be to God. Oh God showed up.
- 25:13Speaker 1: He does some of his best work. I might be struggling,
- 25:19Speaker 1: but I'm still I might be struggling, but I'm still winning.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I wait a minute, now, I see the woman with
- 25:31Speaker 1: the intel brood. She had plenty of trouble, twelve long
- 25:36Speaker 1: years of trouble. She has been all she had on
- 25:41Speaker 1: her earthly doctors, and none of them good, doing any good.
- 25:48Speaker 1: But one day she heard that Jesus was painted by
- 25:54Speaker 1: and she said, if I could just pressed my way hallelujah,
- 26:03Speaker 1: I need to know. Is there anybody on this line
- 26:08Speaker 1: that as a press. If I can just press my
- 26:12Speaker 1: way through the crowd and touched the him of his garment,
- 26:17Speaker 1: I know I'm gonna be all right. Jesus does his
- 26:24Speaker 1: best work. Come hallelujah. In the midst of our troubles,
- 26:29Speaker 1: they always said that you find yourself in three places
- 26:33Speaker 1: in life. They say you find yourself going into trouble.
- 26:37Speaker 1: They say, you find yourself in the midst of trouble,
- 26:40Speaker 1: and then they say you find yourself coming out of trouble.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Just in case there's somebody here that has been delivered
- 26:51Speaker 1: from trouble, I need to encourage you to stay raised, pray,
- 26:57Speaker 1: read up, prayed up, and soon because some more trouble
- 27:03Speaker 1: is heading your way. Yeah, we are troubled on every side,
- 27:08Speaker 1: but we are not distressed. In other words, what brother
- 27:12Speaker 1: Paul is saying is because I hope and Jesus alone
- 27:17Speaker 1: now and you have to relately realize that in the
- 27:20Speaker 1: midst of your struggles that you are not fighting to victory,
- 27:25Speaker 1: but you're fighting from victory. Hollery Loulia Delve.
- 27:30Speaker 3: You be the God.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Now. I might be struggling, but I'm still winning. I
- 27:36Speaker 1: have victory and I am winning in the midst of
- 27:40Speaker 1: my struggles. Paul said, we are trouble on every side,
- 27:44Speaker 1: but we are not distressed. Paul says, we are perplexed,
- 27:48Speaker 1: but not in despair. Paul says, sometime the devil tries
- 27:53Speaker 1: to make us suffer from temporary amnesia. You see something
- 27:57Speaker 1: that devil tries to make me. God has never done
- 28:01Speaker 1: nothing He'll try to make you think that God has
- 28:05Speaker 1: never brought you through anything. He'll trying to make you
- 28:09Speaker 1: think that God is not a bridge over trouble water.
- 28:15Speaker 1: But I have to take a trip down memory and lane.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Didn't he put food on your table yesterday? Won't my
- 28:23Speaker 1: God do it? Didn't he heal your body yesterday? Won't
- 28:27Speaker 1: my God heal you today? Didn't he step down when
- 28:33Speaker 1: you was down to your last time? Hallelujah? Won't God
- 28:37Speaker 1: do it today? Pol says life as a strougle, and
- 28:42Speaker 1: I say I'm struggling, but I'm still winning. And on tonight,
- 28:52Speaker 1: if you're going through anything, I invite you to get
- 29:00Speaker 1: to know Jesus. When I was in my sick bed
- 29:05Speaker 1: and there was no one around me, My family was
- 29:10Speaker 1: far away, my friends seemed like they were gone. I
- 29:15Speaker 1: can no longer do anything for him. I was laying
- 29:19Speaker 1: fat on my back. But you know who was there.
- 29:23Speaker 1: My friend called Jesus. He said he'll never leave me
- 29:28Speaker 1: and he'll never forsake me. He will be with me
