Teen Accused in Doneraile Murder | Cork News
Twenty-year-old Alex Deady has been convicted of murdering postman Barry Daly in Doneraile, County Cork, on October 12, 2025, after a 12-hour jury deliberation. Deady showed no reaction during the verdict. The same jury now turns to a 17-year-old co-accused — whose identity remains hidden due to age — also charged with murder in the same incident, though they initially pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
