Reds Call Up Jorge, Friedl on the Move | Cincinnati Reds News
The Reds are calling up Carlos Jorge — their top prospect who’s exploding this season after a rough year. Hitting over .300 with a solid OBP and 33 stolen bases, Jorge’s bat is finally coming alive, especially against righties. A dynamic center fielder with energy and power, he’s now thriving in the outfield. The move could sideline TJ Friedl, despite his manager’s affection, opening a platoon with Dane Myers handling lefties — a bold gamble to give young talent a real shot.
