- 5:44Speaker 1: just be super careful.
- 5:46Speaker 2: To be honest, I drive like an idiot. I know
- 5:49Speaker 2: I do it on purpose. I'd never want to be
- 5:51Speaker 2: around a car. I always assume a car is going
- 5:54Speaker 2: to fucking hit me. Yeah, they've tried so many times.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Like I've been riding since I was five years old. Yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 2: and knock on.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I mean, people have been trying to hit you because
- 6:03Speaker 1: they know it's you, because I don't know, man, But
- 6:07Speaker 1: it's just they don't see motorcycle. And I get it.
- 6:09Speaker 2: I have a one ton truck and I pulled out
- 6:11Speaker 2: in front of one of the Berry guys there and
- 6:13Speaker 2: almost got smacked because I couldn't see and he was
- 6:16Speaker 2: driving a truck. So yeah, motorcycles. I just I get

- 6:43Speaker 1: your reach you got going on there, man, Man, looks
- 6:47Speaker 1: like cloudy tonight, more rain, chars, fifty seventies, Tomorrow sunclouds
- 6:51Speaker 1: and then Easter Sunday, partly cloudy in fifty degrees. Uh,
- 6:56Speaker 1: for the for the egg hunting. So do you remember,
- 7:02Speaker 1: I'm sure you do. Easter Easter morning, you're getting up
- 7:06Speaker 1: at the ass crack, your kids want to go outside
- 7:09Speaker 1: and look for Easter eggs. There's still snow in the ground.
- 7:12Speaker 1: You got your slippers on, your your your your cozy

- 7:38Speaker 1: Uh. I didn't do it at your house, No, we didn't.
- 7:41Speaker 2: We had the Easter baskets when I was growing up.
- 7:43Speaker 2: That's when you had the Eastern baskets. That's when you
- 7:45Speaker 2: got your bicycle. Like April was the time. That's when
- 7:48Speaker 2: you we always looked for. That was when we were
- 7:50Speaker 2: getting a brand new bicycle.
- 7:51Speaker 1: With the tassels. You have the pink, sparky tassels.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Rex till my parents could afflord me, Hey, it's okay,
- 7:59Speaker 2: just to admit it, buddy. You assume I'm not comfortable
- 8:04Speaker 2: in my sexuality and that biers I do.
- 8:06Speaker 1: But do you know what. Let's let's just can I
- 8:12Speaker 1: just say this, what's up you? Instead of going out
- 8:19Speaker 1: yourself and getting glasses so that you could look more
- 8:24Speaker 1: like me, why wouldn't you just call me and say,
- 8:29Speaker 1: JD listen, I have something to admit. I want to
- 8:33Speaker 1: look more like you. I'm going to go get glasses
- 8:36Speaker 1: so that I can look and maybe even be more
- 8:40Speaker 1: like you. Why wouldn't you just tell me you don't
- 8:43Speaker 1: have to go out?
- 8:44Speaker 2: And because I'm making a slow change, I'm making a
- 8:47Speaker 2: slow change. I just started the row game. I've been
- 8:50Speaker 2: eating large pizzas every single night, so.
- 8:54Speaker 1: It's a slow change. I want to see if you
- 8:57Speaker 1: notice it.
- 8:57Speaker 2: And the first thing you noticed was the glasses, so
- 9:01Speaker 2: you're not even gonna notice when I actually look like you.
- 9:04Speaker 2: When the rogain kicks in, the pizza kicks in. They're
- 9:10Speaker 2: fucking readers. Man, I couldn't see.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I broke my glasses.
- 9:13Speaker 2: I had to pick up another pair of readers. Yes,
- 9:16Speaker 2: I'm that age.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I want to say before I forget Sunday. This this
- 9:21Speaker 1: the easter uh. Bon Lafayette's new album, Broken Records is Yes.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I've had a chance to hear some of the tracks
- 9:28Speaker 1: on it, unbelieved.
- 9:30Speaker 2: That kid is he is so impressive. I didn't realize
- 9:33Speaker 2: he was all the way down to Texas.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Yes, so yeah, yeah, he's in Texas. Man.
- 9:37Speaker 2: No, we got to promote the hell out of that, uh,
- 9:40Speaker 2: out of that because he's a good old boy from Vermont.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Yeah, green Mountain boy. Yep. I also want to say
- 9:46Speaker 1: Montpelier Volkswagen has the Easter Bunny coming by today from
- 9:52Speaker 1: four to six. It you know, uh, the Easter Bunny
- 9:55Speaker 1: is gonna be there's gonna be crafts rex, there's going
- 9:57Speaker 1: to be decorating, there's going to be let me stop
- 10:01Speaker 1: you all kinds of treats and stuff. You and I
- 10:04Speaker 1: ought to hop over there and.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Remember the Easter Bunny that used to drive around in
- 10:09Speaker 2: a convertible in Williamstown. Remember the year that that person
- 10:14Speaker 2: didn't get into the Easter Bunny suit and someone sitting
- 10:17Speaker 2: here in the studio thought it was me and the
- 10:19Speaker 2: Easter Bunny is not allowed to talk, and somebody may
- 10:22Speaker 2: have groped that Easter Bunny thinking.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I was in that suit.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I forgot all of a sudden, forgot I'm not six
- 10:29Speaker 2: foot two. I forgot all about that totally backstory. I
- 10:37Speaker 2: used to dress up as the Easter Bunny for the
- 10:39Speaker 2: Moose Club. Yes, I invited JD up this.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Story.
- 10:45Speaker 2: My wife has a beautiful little Mustang convertible. I would
- 10:47Speaker 2: sit in that. We drive through the parade and Williamstown
- 10:50Speaker 2: dressed up as the Easter Bunny. The one thing was
- 10:53Speaker 2: you could never say a word in the Easter Bunny suit.
- 10:55Speaker 1: That was what we do.
- 10:56Speaker 2: You know, we don't want to say. Nobody wants to
- 10:58Speaker 2: know who you are, so everybody's guessing who you are. Well,
- 11:00Speaker 2: the next year, I didn't do it, but JD still
- 11:03Speaker 2: showed up and JD started saying the wildest shit to
- 11:07Speaker 2: the Easter Bunny. He roped the Easter Bunny.
- 11:11Speaker 1: In the Easter Bunny's ear, in the Easter bunnies ear,
- 11:15Speaker 1: and this guy had no clue who JD was, but
- 11:17Speaker 1: he couldn't say anything that this little short dude was
- 11:21Speaker 1: groping him. And so JD.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Calls me that day and he's like, Aha, what do
- 11:25Speaker 2: you think of that? I was like, think of what, man?
- 11:26Speaker 2: He goes in the fucking the bunny suit. I'm like, man,
- 11:30Speaker 2: I didn't do it this year. He was so embarrassed.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I was like, you didn't notice the guy's six foot
- 11:34Speaker 2: two that was in the bunny suit.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I still don't know who that was in the bunny suit.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I still don't know. But I went up to.
- 11:44Speaker 2: You'll know because you're named in the lawsuit sexual harassment.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Like holy, I went up to the eastern.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Well, not only did I grope him, but I also
- 11:55Speaker 1: I'm glad it wasn't a she. Right, Yeah, that could
- 11:58Speaker 1: have been bad because I said something about where I
- 12:03Speaker 1: was going to be inserting the carrot. It was really bad.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I mean I was going on and on and then
- 12:12Speaker 1: I was going to take the Easter Bunny out back
- 12:14Speaker 1: behind the dumpster. Oh. He thought it was so funny.
- 12:16Speaker 2: When he called me, he was giggling, just asking me
- 12:19Speaker 2: what I thought of it, And I had no clue
- 12:21Speaker 2: what he was talking about.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and I thought it was you no on, I'll
- 12:25Speaker 1: never do that again. Serious. But anyway, Easter Bunny is
- 12:31Speaker 1: going to be over at Montpelliervolkswagen today four to six.
- 12:34Speaker 1: The kids are invited come on over there, have some fun.
- 12:37Speaker 1: It's going to be decorating and coloring and treats and
- 12:41Speaker 1: and snacks and uh.
- 12:44Speaker 2: And and you know, bring your obviously, I mean we
- 12:47Speaker 2: have we've been sitting in the winter. I don't know
- 12:48Speaker 2: about you, man, but this felt like a super depressing wind.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Yeah, this was It was hard. It was tough.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And so I when the sun come out, getting with community, sure,
- 12:56Speaker 2: that's huge. Like I woke up the other day and
- 12:59Speaker 2: the sun wash and I had just been under so
- 13:01Speaker 2: many you know you because we're doing the all that
- 13:04Speaker 2: ship with the building and stuff, and uh so I
- 13:07Speaker 2: just woke up and I was just relieved that I
- 13:10Speaker 2: was alive. It was it was another day. The fucking
- 13:13Speaker 2: sun was up.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I understand all.
- 13:15Speaker 2: My worst fears didn't come to fruitation. I still woke
- 13:18Speaker 2: up the next day the sun was shining, and it
- 13:20Speaker 2: just changed my attitude. That just a little bit sunshine too,
- 13:23Speaker 2: that was like same here needed that same.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I felt like I've been in a hole for six months.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I hear you. You see that grass starting green up?
- 13:30Speaker 1: I mean, Bruce, who's from I don't see that.
- 13:33Speaker 2: I just see the dog shit on my lawn, my
- 13:35Speaker 2: ship to gosh, damn, he shits like he's the size
- 13:39Speaker 2: of it.
- 13:39Speaker 1: But are aren't we happy though this time of year
- 13:41Speaker 1: when we see all the snow melts my.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Ducks, the wild ducks are back at my pond, my
- 13:45Speaker 2: chickens around. I got another dozen chickens in my little
- 13:48Speaker 2: utility room right there under the left. I wait to
- 13:51Speaker 2: have eggs. Oh yeah, oh I do get eggs. I
- 13:54Speaker 2: just I eat so many eggs. And me and the
- 13:57Speaker 2: fox and the weasel bin. Oh he's been getting in
- 14:00Speaker 2: and out of there.
- 14:01Speaker 1: You have a contentious relationship with Yeah.
- 14:04Speaker 2: The first fox, he tried scratching on my door, and
- 14:08Speaker 2: uh he was met with a bullpup jog gun.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, that's that's so right in the middle of
- 14:14Speaker 1: the day. That's beautiful. Yeah, you know when when we
- 14:21Speaker 1: love this time of year, and it's like I'm saying,
- 14:23Speaker 1: you know, Bruce, who's down in Florida, Uh, my wife's
- 14:27Speaker 1: in Florida. Stacy Holden, who's down in Florida. Yep, he's
- 14:31Speaker 1: in uh Fort Pierce. These are Vermont guys who lived
- 14:36Speaker 1: down in Florida. They know how happy we are when
- 14:41Speaker 1: the snow starts to develop and we see that dog
- 14:44Speaker 1: shit that was left last fall and it's still there
- 14:47Speaker 1: in the yard. We're happy. There's hope, we're gonna be
- 14:53Speaker 1: We're gonna be okay when we see that dog shit
- 14:56Speaker 1: from last year, and and all the other the rakes
- 14:58Speaker 1: and the stuff that we left out, the lawn furniture
- 15:01Speaker 1: that's ruined. That's that we forgot about, that was covered
- 15:05Speaker 1: up with you. Now we have side. Now we have chores.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Instead of sitting inside, sitting on Facebook, are you with
- 15:11Speaker 2: their friends people, we could actually go outside.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I can start running my wood splitter. I run my tractor.
- 15:16Speaker 1: People like Bruce and and Stacy uh and we have
- 15:22Speaker 1: other friends that are that are down south to Crystal
- 15:26Speaker 1: who's down in North Carolina listens every every morning. These
- 15:31Speaker 1: people miss the black flies up here, They miss the
- 15:37Speaker 1: black fly bites in the scalp and constantly swad you
- 15:42Speaker 1: know what I did?
- 15:42Speaker 2: You know what I did? They love that because I
- 15:45Speaker 2: have a pond.
- 15:47Speaker 1: So I did two things.
- 15:49Speaker 2: The very first thing we did was we put up
- 15:51Speaker 2: a bathouse.
- 15:53Speaker 1: We talked about bats yesterday, yeah with g oh yeah no.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I put a bathouse up with pheromones on it and everything.
- 16:00Speaker 2: We have him.
- 16:01Speaker 1: His name is Gary. He goes every year.
- 16:04Speaker 2: But those things eat like fifty thousand fucking bugs.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Up an hour an hour. Yeah yeah.
- 16:09Speaker 2: So then we also put the koyfish in there. So
- 16:12Speaker 2: our pond is pretty good, you know what I mean.
- 16:14Speaker 2: I don't have a ton of black. My wife sits
- 16:16Speaker 2: out at our pond every single.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Night with the fire. Really yep, so they're not they're
- 16:21Speaker 1: not biting at your bald head. No, not at all.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Nobody wants a piece of this bald head. I also
- 16:27Speaker 1: want to mention here before I forget, the Easter Bunny
- 16:30Speaker 1: is going to be hopping from Montpelier Volkswagen and Montpilia
- 16:34Speaker 1: Masta today from four to six, also over to the
- 16:37Speaker 1: Central Chamber of Commerce, so the Easter Bunnies can be
- 16:41Speaker 1: very busy. Oh yeah, very very He doesn't have one
- 16:44Speaker 1: of them, Santa Slaves. I don't know, the magical ones. Yeah,

- 17:01Speaker 2: I love training her daughters. They are the best. They
- 17:04Speaker 2: are the absolute best, I really because the warriors, all right,
- 17:08Speaker 2: they're they're just they're just really into it and it's
- 17:10Speaker 2: so good to see man, because there's nobody they're being
- 17:13Speaker 2: influenced by a bunch of people in a gym instead
- 17:17Speaker 2: of a bunch of people that may not have the
- 17:20Speaker 2: best of intentions. Sure, they started in I mean they
- 17:23Speaker 2: started out with us because they homeschool, yes, yes, and
- 17:27Speaker 2: so they need like gym credits. So they brought them
- 17:29Speaker 2: in for the free kids jiu jitsu classes and that
- 17:32Speaker 2: that gave them there, that gave them their credits. But
- 17:34Speaker 2: when they fell in love with it.
- 17:36Speaker 1: And two seven nine three twenty five for jerud General Transport,

- 20:04Speaker 1: I didn't, my daughter did, and then didn't bring the
- 20:08Speaker 1: power cord. You just want everything for free.
- 20:15Speaker 2: And then never grateful. Just like a kid, give him
- 20:18Speaker 2: an inch, he wants a mile.
- 20:20Speaker 1: We want we need a monitor here so that the
- 20:23Speaker 1: guest can see what's being shown on on on camera
- 20:28Speaker 1: what everyone else can see. Right And g has been
- 20:31Speaker 1: in here on Thursdays flippin' mad because you brought the
- 20:36Speaker 1: power cord in here and it's the wrong power cord,
- 20:39Speaker 1: so we still can't use the monitor. So with that said,
- 20:43Speaker 1: I decided to retaliate against you and your family and
- 20:51Speaker 1: to show a photo on the monitor here that everyone's
- 20:55Speaker 1: going to be able to see that or not of you,
- 20:58Speaker 1: and you're not going to be a to see it.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Stop being silly. So there it is. It's it's on
- 21:06Speaker 1: it's on the it's on your your screen right now.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Oh that's what you get your cell phone going, Oh damn,
- 21:14Speaker 1: get the hell out of here. You better take that down.
- 21:18Speaker 1: What are you? What are you gonna do about it.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I'm driving. That was my costume as the creepy gym coach.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Not a costume. It's not a costume, buddy. I used
- 21:31Speaker 1: to really enjoy dressing up. But Brenda says that that
- 21:36Speaker 1: is a typical Saturday morning worked out for you. Looks
- 21:41Speaker 1: like you got a little bit of uh, looks like
- 21:43Speaker 1: you got a little bit of a package there in
- 21:45Speaker 1: the front button. Stop it.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Take that fucking photo down. You take that down. Stop
- 21:49Speaker 2: looking at my penis. Stop it just saying did I
- 21:53Speaker 2: put the potato in the front of the back?
- 21:55Speaker 1: I don't remember. Oh, take that picture down. I didn't
- 22:03Speaker 1: even know that was still on my Facebook. It's down.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh it's on. Yeah, it's on there.
- 22:08Speaker 2: That was a lot of fun. I dressed up once
- 22:11Speaker 2: as future Future Luke and I had tailor tattoo the
- 22:16Speaker 2: Karma across my belly. I had glasses on. I cut
- 22:20Speaker 2: a mohawk, and I showed up in a gee with
- 22:22Speaker 2: like fifteen stripes on it at his mouth and he
- 22:26Speaker 2: was like, he it blew his mind because nobody knows
- 22:29Speaker 2: that he wears glasses.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Oops.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Now everybody knows he wears glasses. But I showed up
- 22:33Speaker 2: wearing glasses. He was like, how the hell did you
- 22:35Speaker 2: know I wear glasses?
- 22:36Speaker 1: I was like, I don't. I just figured old Luke
- 22:38Speaker 1: would be wearing glasses. You know what, You know what
- 22:41Speaker 1: Jay and Glenn and John and Twaine are all gonna do.
- 22:44Speaker 1: They're gonna go back and they're gonna replay this podcast
- 22:48Speaker 1: episode and they're gonna screenshot.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Just go to my Facebook picture. If you want to
- 22:55Speaker 2: support recks, change that to your profile picture.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Www. I want to I want to ask you. I
- 23:04Speaker 1: want to get serious here this morning. I want to
- 23:08Speaker 1: ask you. I actually want to get serious about a
- 23:11Speaker 1: couple of things Facebook question of the Day that I'll
- 23:13Speaker 1: put up this morning. Uh are you getting a tax
- 23:16Speaker 1: refund this year? And if so, is that a joke?
- 23:26Speaker 1: It's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. No, I don't
- 23:29Speaker 1: have kids, I don't call I am not on the s. Yeah.
- 23:32Speaker 2: No, I don't get those ten thousand dollars fucking checks,
- 23:36Speaker 2: trust me, I send those to the government.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I don't get those. If you are getting a tax
- 23:41Speaker 1: refund this year, what are your plans to do with that?
- 23:44Speaker 2: I've already spent my five thousand dollars. Doge refund you have. Yeah,
- 23:49Speaker 2: so that better hurry up and get in.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Hey, Crystal's finally with us down in North Carolina. There
- 23:57Speaker 1: we go. We were talking about your earlier Crystal. Uh
- 24:01Speaker 1: and Loretta Wilson. Yes, I love Loretta. She's such a
- 24:08Speaker 1: good ship. She's a little uh Loretta no crazy, No,
- 24:17Speaker 1: she don't say that. I just did. Loretta is a
- 24:21Speaker 1: good shit I always think you. Yes, yes she is.
- 24:24Speaker 1: If if you were to get a refund, would you
- 24:29Speaker 1: what would you do with it? What are you planning
- 24:31Speaker 1: on doing with it? If? And I asked folks out there,
- 24:33Speaker 1: who my crack?
- 24:34Speaker 2: Maybe maybe they know the majority of them are buying crack.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Paying off a credit card would be a good idea.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Uh oh they never, dude, I'm telling you right now,
- 24:44Speaker 1: I rex the average APR is twenty percent. Right now,
- 24:49Speaker 1: I had a homekeepo card that was twenty nine points
- 24:53Speaker 1: something percent. Have you ever been to it? Buddy? Refund season?
- 24:58Speaker 1: Cut it right up? What what is everybody doing?
- 25:00Speaker 2: They're getting vacations, they're buying cars, they're buying boats, and
- 25:04Speaker 2: they're broken a month. They party their ass off. They
- 25:08Speaker 2: claim that they're gonna pay everything off. They don't pay
- 25:10Speaker 2: a goddamn thing off. They buy a bunch of stupid shit.
- 25:13Speaker 2: How do I know this because I did the same
- 25:15Speaker 2: thing I was young, every tax season time for a
- 25:18Speaker 2: new boat.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm three months behind my mortgage, but I'm
- 25:21Speaker 1: gonna buy a new boat. You know, I say, I say,
- 25:23Speaker 1: like this, flip flip that on its head, and think
- 25:27Speaker 1: of it like this. If you pay it off now
- 25:30Speaker 1: instead of a year from now, it's literally like making
- 25:34Speaker 1: twenty percent. Stop, Kenny, I'm on line. You know this.
- 25:38Speaker 1: What the hell Kenny is Kenny calling you? Kenny's trying
- 25:44Speaker 1: to call me and he knows for a fact that
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm on air. Right, Do you want me to put
- 25:48Speaker 1: him on the air. Nope, I don't. Right, he has
- 25:50Speaker 1: to learn his lesson. Yeah, wait, your damn turn.
- 25:53Speaker 2: God, damn Kenny, bitch, Loretta's gonna run into your house.
- 26:01Speaker 1: No, I saw that. You can't. Now you got it guarded.
- 26:07Speaker 1: What about starting an emergency fund? So what I would do?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Listen to this, Listen to this.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Those people get like ten grand back stuff like that.
- 26:16Speaker 2: They get a lot of money and take that money
- 26:18Speaker 2: and invest it. And I'm not talking about stocks, I'm
- 26:22Speaker 2: not talking about bonds. Do a real investor. Stock prices
- 26:26Speaker 2: are down. No, that's a good time unless you're like,
- 26:29Speaker 2: unless you're some sort of.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Like let your money make money.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Absolutely use that money that you were not allowed to use.
- 26:36Speaker 2: All your luck that you send into the government, now
- 26:38Speaker 2: they give it back to you. Take that money and
- 26:40Speaker 2: invest it in something. Find a local business, invested in them.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Find something where you can get an actual return. There's
- 26:47Speaker 2: so many like real estate, there's just so many things
- 26:49Speaker 2: that you can invest into.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I start your own business, I say, maybe buy something
- 26:54Speaker 1: that might cost more later. I mean there's some things
- 26:57Speaker 1: where hanging on to that money.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Wait for all all those people to blow their money
- 27:01Speaker 2: by buying stupid shit and buy it for fifty cents
- 27:04Speaker 2: on the dollar once they're.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Broke, or buy buy something before the tariff kicks in
- 27:08Speaker 1: on it. You know, yeah, I don't. I don't know, man,
- 27:12Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:12Speaker 2: You know who your biggest trade deficit is as a person.
- 27:16Speaker 1: You know, a new washing machine here over the next
- 27:19Speaker 1: couple of months could be significantly higher. Buy it now
- 27:23Speaker 1: with that tax return, just saying.
- 27:26Speaker 2: That's it, And I mean that's kind of what they do,
- 27:28Speaker 2: is that that that's supposed to be like an influx
- 27:30Speaker 2: of money going into the economy and stuff.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Yeah, invest it, don't buy stupid shit. What do you say?
- 27:36Speaker 1: What do you say to people that are like, you
- 27:38Speaker 1: got to start that emergency fund. You got to have
- 27:40Speaker 1: an emergency fund. If you don't have an emergency fund,
- 27:42Speaker 1: you're being irresponsible. You have no idea what's coming. What
- 27:45Speaker 1: do you say.
- 27:47Speaker 2: They've never been self employed, They've never had to try
- 27:50Speaker 2: to run a business. That's an employee mentality where you
- 27:53Speaker 2: have guaranteed income coming in all the time and so
- 27:57Speaker 2: you know how to plan it. It's cut and dry.
- 27:59Speaker 2: That's not how works in small business. That's not how
- 28:02Speaker 2: it works is you're self employed. Self employed is a
- 28:04Speaker 2: roller coaster. You save that money right up until an
- 28:07Speaker 2: emergency happens. Then you have to fuck itself. You have
- 28:09Speaker 2: to use that money. That's that's life. That is real business.
- 28:13Speaker 2: That's the way it goes. I mean, even not to
- 28:16Speaker 2: not to toot Donald Trump's horn, but he has five
- 28:19Speaker 2: hundred and fifty different businesses. When one's losing, another one's
- 28:22Speaker 2: making money that you have to hustle all the time.
- 28:25Speaker 2: If you're self employed, you have to have several If
- 28:28Speaker 2: you if you have one income source. You are tied
- 28:33Speaker 2: to that one income source. If you have a job
- 28:36Speaker 2: and you're planning on that paycheck every single week and
- 28:39Speaker 2: you have no other source of income, what happens if
- 28:41Speaker 2: that job stops?
- 28:43Speaker 1: Now?
- 28:43Speaker 2: What Now you have three months saved up and you
- 28:46Speaker 2: you can hopefully find something else in them three months.
- 28:49Speaker 2: I don't know, man, I mean, we all try to save,
- 28:52Speaker 2: we try to but but well, if you get.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Hungry, you want to eat, Your kids want to eat. Crystal.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Crystal just said they've never lived paycheck to paycheck. So
- 29:05Speaker 1: I don't know. I've got a friend who's a little
- 29:07Speaker 1: bit of a prepper and really believes in the emergency fund,
- 29:13Speaker 1: and but what happened? I mean emergency fund?
- 29:17Speaker 2: But what is it? If he's a prepper, what is
- 29:19Speaker 2: he prepping for? Because in an end, okay, so what
- 29:22Speaker 2: is money going to do for you? There's no, there's no,
- 29:25Speaker 2: there's not gonna be an economic value.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Look at the problem. He's also the dollar right now dropping.
- 29:30Speaker 1: But here's the thing. This is what I love about
- 29:32Speaker 1: this guy. He has one hundred dollars bill that is
- 29:37Speaker 1: folded up and tucked.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Every Special Operations soldier keeps a hundred dollars bill in
- 29:43Speaker 2: their wallet.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Well, he doesn't keep it in his wallet. He he
- 29:47Speaker 1: has it on. He has it tucked inside the underneath
- 29:51Speaker 1: of his front seat so that if he's somewhere he's
- 29:56Speaker 1: running out of gas or there's an emergency or whatever.
- 29:59Speaker 2: As the first thing you learn overseas always keep a
- 30:01Speaker 2: hundred dollar. One hundred dollars Overseas has a lot of
- 30:04Speaker 2: fucking money.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I wanted to. I want to get really
- 30:11Speaker 1: serious this morning. And usually I'm not with you. But
- 30:15Speaker 1: the other day I went and bought tires, summer summer
- 30:23Speaker 1: tires that I had to I had to get and
- 30:28Speaker 1: it was it was you know, it was a lot
- 30:32Speaker 1: of money. Yeah, it was a lot of money. And
- 30:35Speaker 1: I had to get four and I had to suck
- 30:38Speaker 1: it up, and you know, it was well over five
- 30:43Speaker 1: hundred bucks. Dude.
- 30:44Speaker 2: I have a one ton I put tires on once
- 30:46Speaker 2: a year and that's it. I put winter tires. I
- 30:48Speaker 2: do not buy slumber tires.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I know.
- 30:50Speaker 2: It's just, you know, it's that's crazy. Twelve fifteen hundred
- 30:53Speaker 2: dollars every time you're trying to put.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Ten Yeah on A one time, I I was driving
- 31:03Speaker 1: home and I had these these tires, and I just
- 31:07Speaker 1: got flooded with memories of my dad who back in
- 31:15Speaker 1: you know, I don't know. It was in the eighties.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I had I had an old pickup truck and I
- 31:23Speaker 1: was a kid man burning the tires off it. No, no, no,
- 31:28Speaker 1: I actually didn't do that, but he he was just
- 31:35Speaker 1: I had a little part time or not a part time.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I actually had a full time job. But he I
- 31:42Speaker 1: was like, I don't know, seventeen, sixteen, seventeen, maybe eighteen,
- 31:49Speaker 1: he was like, and he had me on his insurance
- 31:55Speaker 1: policy yep. And it's like, hey, when are you going
- 32:02Speaker 1: to get snow tires? It's it's it's getting cold. Ye.
- 32:07Speaker 1: The truck though, snow tires, No, it was it seventy
- 32:10Speaker 1: three Chevy see ten yeah yeah, not four will drive.
- 32:17Speaker 1: And he's like, you know, snow's coming you you need
- 32:21Speaker 1: to get some snow tires on. And I was like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:24Speaker 1: yeah yeah. And he was all hounding me, you know,
- 32:29Speaker 1: every couple of days, Hey, you got those snow tires yet? Yeah,
- 32:32Speaker 1: I'll get to it. I'll get to it. So you're procrastinating, wicked.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Why at that age, why would I want to go
- 32:40Speaker 1: out and dump, you know, I don't know.
- 32:42Speaker 2: We had Chevy Chavettes and motorcycle helmets. We would hit
- 32:45Speaker 2: those snow banks. It was a blast with them old
- 32:48Speaker 2: Chevy Chavettes. I bet Jay Smith remembers that, Like who
- 32:53Speaker 2: what was his name? Tailor Jimmy Taylor had a Chevy Chavette.
- 32:56Speaker 2: We would hit the back roads on a snowstorm, bounce.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Off every single snow He was just on me every
- 33:06Speaker 1: couple of days. You got to get the snow tires,
- 33:08Speaker 1: you get you gotta get the snow tires, and so
- 33:10Speaker 1: on and so forth. Very long story short. I came
- 33:16Speaker 1: home one one time one night with a dozen flower
- 33:22Speaker 1: a dozen roses for my girlfriend and it was her
- 33:25Speaker 1: birthday and she was coming over for dinner and I
- 33:27Speaker 1: was going to try to make dinner and all this shit,
- 33:29Speaker 1: you know, on a cluster. That was But I walk
- 33:34Speaker 1: in the house and my dad's there and he's like, wow,
- 33:38Speaker 1: look at those roses. Those are beautiful. Who were those four?
- 33:43Speaker 1: And I'm like, for my girlfriend, it's her birthday. Wow,
- 33:48Speaker 1: that's so nice. You're so romantic, and that's that's great. Wow,
- 33:52Speaker 1: those are some beautiful roses. Did you get your snow
- 33:57Speaker 1: tires yet, And of course I'm remembering this story the
- 34:02Speaker 1: you know, yeah, just recently while I was driving with
- 34:06Speaker 1: with my new tires in the back and I was like, no,
- 34:10Speaker 1: not yet, but I'm gonna. And he's like, so you
- 34:13Speaker 1: you had the money for the for the roses, but
- 34:17Speaker 1: not toward your snow tires. And I was like, oh, yeah, Dan,
- 34:22Speaker 1: you know. And he didn't raises his voice at me
- 34:30Speaker 1: or anything. But later that night, after the girlfriend left,
- 34:35Speaker 1: he pulls me aside and he says, look, once midnight comes,
- 34:41Speaker 1: your truck is no longer insured and it has to
- 34:45Speaker 1: stay put in the driveway. I'm going to need your keys.
- 34:50Speaker 1: You're not going to be driving your truck after midnight tonight.
- 34:54Speaker 1: And I was like, what the hell are you talking about.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I got to get to my job and everything. And
- 34:59Speaker 1: he's like, you're not driving that truck anywhere. It's not
- 35:02Speaker 1: insured after midnight. Why? And it's just because the snow's
- 35:05Speaker 1: coming and you don't have your snow tires yet and
- 35:08Speaker 1: you're on my insurance and I'm not. I'm not ensuring
- 35:11Speaker 1: your truck anymore. You have to learn a lesson. I
- 35:14Speaker 1: ran away from home. You did, Yeah, I was told
- 35:17Speaker 1: I couldn't drive a motorcycle. I was fifteen years old
- 35:20Speaker 1: and I had a Ninja six hundred, and my mom
- 35:22Speaker 1: was like, you're not driving that. You don't have a license,
- 35:25Speaker 1: you know. I was like, yeah, right, watch this. I
- 35:27Speaker 1: drove away. I ran away from home. I was gone
- 35:30Speaker 1: for months. Wow yeah, I really yeah.
- 35:34Speaker 2: I'd a really shitty home life. So I bounced around
- 35:37Speaker 2: for my friends. I was homeless. I bounced around for
- 35:40Speaker 2: my friends couches and parties.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I would just go to parties.
- 35:45Speaker 2: That's how I would wow, you know, if they had
- 35:47Speaker 2: a pizza there or something so I could get some food.
- 35:49Speaker 2: My buddy Jimmy let me stay in his basement for
- 35:51Speaker 2: a while.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Damn. So yeah, or walk in the streets all night long.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I was. I was absolutely infuriated. I had to ride
- 36:02Speaker 1: my bicycle to my job for the next couple of weeks,
- 36:06Speaker 1: freezing my ass off so that I could earn the
- 36:10Speaker 1: money to get those snow tires and have him put on.
- 36:13Speaker 1: And I was pissed. I thought my father was the
- 36:16Speaker 1: worst human being in the world. Yeah. Yeah, when you're
- 36:19Speaker 1: a kid, I hate you. Oh. I was so mad.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Everything is a world tragedy. I did it I earned
- 36:27Speaker 1: the snow tires. I had him put on and he
- 36:31Speaker 1: told me, all right, your insurance is lifted. It's back insured.
- 36:35Speaker 1: You can drive your truck now. And I had the
- 36:36Speaker 1: heat on and I was happy. Fast forward like thirty years.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Dad's in the hospital pneumonia. He's still bitching at you
- 36:47Speaker 1: about the winter tires. No. No, he's like on the
- 36:51Speaker 1: way out. I mean he's he's probably At the time,
- 36:55Speaker 1: we thought he's probably not going to make it, and
- 36:57Speaker 1: even the doctors were like, this is pretty bad. You
- 37:00Speaker 1: know anything, and he said anything that you know you
- 37:04Speaker 1: need to say to your dad, This would be a
- 37:07Speaker 1: great time to do it. So I'm laying there next
- 37:11Speaker 1: to Dad on the bed. He's got the oxygen mask on.
- 37:14Speaker 1: He's in ICU, and you know, his eyes are rolling
- 37:17Speaker 1: up in his head and he's he's really bad, and
- 37:20Speaker 1: I'm like, you know, I'm telling him how much I
- 37:21Speaker 1: love him and everything. And he looks at me and
- 37:24Speaker 1: he says, do you remember when I canceled your insurance
- 37:29Speaker 1: because you didn't have the snow tires? And I said, yeah,
- 37:33Speaker 1: I thought you were the biggest bastard in the world,
- 37:36Speaker 1: and blah blah blah, and he goes because you prioritize
- 37:39Speaker 1: those those roses over snow tires. I said, yeah, Dad,
- 37:44Speaker 1: I remember, and he's like pulls the oxygen mask off
- 37:48Speaker 1: his face and he's like, I never canceled your insurance.
- 37:56Speaker 1: What do you think I am some kind of stupid asshole.
- 38:00Speaker 1: I never would have done something like that. And I'm
- 38:05Speaker 1: thinking about this the other day, and then he had
- 38:08Speaker 1: we had this big, long talk about Look, sometimes you
- 38:11Speaker 1: have to buy things in life that you don't really
- 38:14Speaker 1: get to enjoy. You have to buy you have to
- 38:17Speaker 1: spend responsibly, but it's about safety, and you don't get
- 38:22Speaker 1: to enjoy tires. There's there's not like a video game
- 38:27Speaker 1: or a motorcycle or and I get that.
- 38:30Speaker 2: And it's really hard to justify money for myself, especially
- 38:35Speaker 2: when you don't have the money age yeah, and when
- 38:37Speaker 2: you don't have the money to put winter tires on.
- 38:41Speaker 1: I know. But he made me earn the tires and
- 38:45Speaker 1: put them on because he's trying to teach me responsibility.
- 38:50Speaker 1: And here I am, you know, fifty four years old.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I'm driving home the other day and I'm thinking about
- 38:56Speaker 1: this and the memories are flooding. I fell apart crying.
- 38:59Speaker 1: I'm driving down the road, and I'm like, Dad, thank
- 39:04Speaker 1: you know, thank you for instilling that Indian instilling that
- 39:08Speaker 1: in me. Yeah, my father instilled punching me. Well, you
- 39:13Speaker 1: and I my father will die alone.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Well, I don't say that. My father won't. My father
- 39:18Speaker 2: has my brother. They've got a little team thing going
- 39:21Speaker 2: on since my mom died. My brother's afraid to lose
- 39:24Speaker 2: his inheritance, so he's made sure that he's the trustee
- 39:27Speaker 2: of all my dad's stuff.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Dad, I can't so me. I don't talk to my
- 39:31Speaker 1: brother now anymore. I don't. I don't. It's too bad,
- 39:34Speaker 1: as I didn't even know you had a brother.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Yeah, he chose my father over us, and my father
- 39:40Speaker 2: let my mother die alone. I have a lot of
- 39:42Speaker 2: resentment towards my father, between the beatings and what he
- 39:46Speaker 2: did to my mother, and my brother's able to forgive him,
- 39:49Speaker 2: and I to me, I just felt like that was
- 39:53Speaker 2: not forgiving. You were afraid to lose fucking money, and
- 39:56Speaker 2: he's willing to sell his soul for money.
- 39:58Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 39:59Speaker 2: I'm just yeah, what that man did to us, Nah,
- 40:03Speaker 2: I'm good, Yeah, I am absolutely, you know, And I
- 40:06Speaker 2: and my brother came over and he was bragging to
- 40:09Speaker 2: me about how he got my father to site over
- 40:12Speaker 2: the whole trust and everything to him because he's trying
- 40:15Speaker 2: to protect my father from all these girlfriends. YadA YadA, yaddy.
- 40:20Speaker 2: And I was like, wow, that pisses me off. Dude,
- 40:23Speaker 2: you did that, You connived to make that happen. And
- 40:26Speaker 2: he goes, well, I can't control what Dad gives me. Yeah,
- 40:29Speaker 2: you can, and you knew, you knew exactly what you're doing.
- 40:33Speaker 2: And so I don't talk to my brother. He sent
- 40:36Speaker 2: me a message said, don't ever reach out again. Dude,
- 40:39Speaker 2: I don't reach out to you. I never had to
- 40:41Speaker 2: reach out to you.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Where's he live? Uh? Northfield? Oh he's here in Vermont. Yeah.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Oh, well he used to live in Kentucky with my dad.
- 40:48Speaker 2: So him and my dad can conspire together. They can
- 40:52Speaker 2: have a happy fucking life as far as I'm concerned.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Wow, I'm not. No. Well, now listen here, pal, let's
- 40:58Speaker 1: not get too negative here Friday morning. That's a button
- 41:05Speaker 1: because I loved my mother and what my dad did
- 41:08Speaker 1: to her was I know, man, I got buttons too,
- 41:11Speaker 1: And believe me, Jesus, one of these days I'll go
- 41:15Speaker 1: down a couple of but.
- 41:16Speaker 2: You know what it does is it makes me appreciate
- 41:19Speaker 2: my family that much more because I don't understand how
- 41:23Speaker 2: somebody can have kids, can have a family and treat
- 41:26Speaker 2: them abuse and do that. I mean, when my daughter
- 41:30Speaker 2: was born, I was like, that's the most beautiful thing
- 41:32Speaker 2: in the fucking world. How could you ever? How could
- 41:35Speaker 2: you do that? How could you treat me the way
- 41:37Speaker 2: that you treated me? How could you put a child
- 41:39Speaker 2: molester as my fucking babysitter like ship like that? Because
- 41:43Speaker 2: it was more important to go out drinking than it
- 41:46Speaker 2: was to take care of your kids.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Because you were young.
- 41:48Speaker 2: You shouldn't have had fucking kids at that age, but
- 41:50Speaker 2: you chose to anyway, and you didn't know how to
- 41:51Speaker 2: raise them, so you drank alcohol. You you you were
- 41:55Speaker 2: a severe alcoholic. You allowed fucking child molesters to babysit
- 41:59Speaker 2: your children. And I have no I just don't have
- 42:02Speaker 2: no love lass for that whole situation.
- 42:06Speaker 1: You know, I have had so many people reach out
- 42:10Speaker 1: to me and thank me for U and G being
- 42:17Speaker 1: on the air saying because you fuckers say it like
- 42:22Speaker 1: it is, and I'm not afraid to say it. I'm
- 42:26Speaker 1: really I know I know that. So let's let's lighten
- 42:32Speaker 1: it up this morning. This is you know, I don't
- 42:35Speaker 1: make up shit. There's a hot dog place in Westport, Massachusetts. Buh.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Now we're dogging called Lexi's road Dogs, and the owner
- 42:49Speaker 1: just posted a photo on their Facebook page that's going viral,
- 42:53Speaker 1: and I'm going to show this to you here in
- 42:54Speaker 1: a second. I hope you're sitting down. It is. It's
- 42:58Speaker 1: called the Easter Dog Special, and it was supposed to
- 43:03Speaker 1: be a joke, and now it's not a joke. Apparently
- 43:08Speaker 1: it's on their menu and people are are coming into
- 43:14Speaker 1: Lexi's road Dogs and buying this and eating this. If
- 43:22Speaker 1: you hate peeps, this is probably not going to be
- 43:28Speaker 1: for you. If you love them, this may this might
- 43:33Speaker 1: be something that you might be interested in. It is
- 43:37Speaker 1: a hot dog with not three, but five yellow peeps
- 43:46Speaker 1: as the bun. Here it is right there on the monitor.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Rex is rowning.
- 43:57Speaker 2: I'm sorry, there's I'm getting a message. It's a doesn't
- 44:00Speaker 2: sound like a good message, so I apologize.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I love hot dogs. Do about it? What the fuck
- 44:05Speaker 1: is that? Yeah? Sorry, that's that is the Eastern Dog
- 44:13Speaker 1: with them little chickens there. That's how you ruin a
- 44:17Speaker 1: hot dog. That's those are peeps. That's what you ruin
- 44:20Speaker 1: a hot dog with that. You're getting together, You're getting
- 44:22Speaker 1: your your sugar and your sodium all at the same time.
- 44:28Speaker 1: No toppings, just peeps. Oh my god. And and mustard
- 44:34Speaker 1: diabetes on a plate. Yes, unbelievable. And this is Lexi's
- 44:40Speaker 1: Road Dogs and they're apparently they're selling this thing. Jesus, dude, really,
- 44:48Speaker 1: can I play this? I don't know it's Kevin McDonald. Sorry,
- 44:53Speaker 1: it's really disgusting, disgusting anyway, I just had to share
- 45:00Speaker 1: this with you this morning because you know, yesterday G
- 45:04Speaker 1: and I were talking about the Peep's flavored milk. We've
- 45:10Speaker 1: got peeps flavored cheesecake now. I saw it in the
- 45:18Speaker 1: store the other day. Peeps that have different flavors that
- 45:27Speaker 1: are just disgusting, like Coca cola flavored Peeps and a
- 45:34Speaker 1: few other things. And I'm just like coconut flavored Peeps.
- 45:39Speaker 1: That's a hard pass. I love coconut and I'll have
- 45:43Speaker 1: a Peep, but I don't. I don't need to do
- 45:48Speaker 1: something like that to my body. I'm not going to
- 45:50Speaker 1: eat that shit. I can't believe it, dude.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Something happened to one of my former jams. I'm trying
- 45:56Speaker 2: to find out what happened right now. It doesn't sound good.
- 46:00Speaker 1: What's what's happening with Uh? What's what's the latest? What's
- 46:05Speaker 1: what's going on? What's what's happening with everything? Oh, there's
- 46:09Speaker 1: just I don't know. Summer is coming, What's what's going
- 46:16Speaker 1: on with the next? Uh? The next? What's what's happening?
- 46:19Speaker 2: So what we've been working on, we've been working on
- 46:22Speaker 2: a big deal with a betting company as far as
- 46:24Speaker 2: donny Brook goes, because they betting became legal. Betting will
- 46:30Speaker 2: become legal here and it's legal here in Vermont, and
- 46:33Speaker 2: there's so we uh we've been We thought the deal
- 46:37Speaker 2: was already closed and everything, but there's legal things that
- 46:41Speaker 2: the lawyers have to that they have to hash out.
- 46:45Speaker 1: It's just not an.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Easy deal to do because there's a lot of compliance
- 46:48Speaker 2: laws that you have to follow in order to advertise
- 46:51Speaker 2: for betting sites and stuff. So we're working through that,
- 46:54Speaker 2: but it's it may take a couple of months, but.
- 46:57Speaker 1: This is uh everything all right? No, I don't think
- 47:02Speaker 1: so do you need to you want to take this? Yeah?
- 47:06Speaker 1: Can you give me like ten minutes? Yeah, of course,
- 47:08Speaker 1: I can, of course I can. Sunday Easter is also, uh,
- 47:16Speaker 1: if you haven't noticed, if you haven't looked at the calendar,
- 47:20Speaker 1: is h four to twenty. And if you have kids,
- 47:26Speaker 1: you're gonna be spending Sunday enjoying some you know, maybe
- 47:29Speaker 1: some springtime egg hunts in the grass. And if you
- 47:34Speaker 1: don't have kids, you might be just enjoying the grass.
- 47:38Speaker 1: I don't know, but four to twenty is Easter, and
- 47:44Speaker 1: I don't know is there significance there. I'm probably upsetting
- 47:49Speaker 1: a friend of mine who's quite religious right now, so uh,
- 47:54Speaker 1: I'll change the subject. But anyway, listen again, speaking of Easter,
- 48:02Speaker 1: Easter Bunny is going to be moving around Central Vermont today.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Do not forget this. Over at Montpelier Mazda and Montpelier
- 48:13Speaker 1: Volkswagen from four until six, the Easter Bunny will be
- 48:17Speaker 1: there and have all kinds of crafts going and treats
- 48:25Speaker 1: for the kids and opportunities for you to have a
- 48:30Speaker 1: photograph with the Easter Bunny, doesn't matter if you're an
- 48:34Speaker 1: adult or if you bring the kids and whatever. And
- 48:37Speaker 1: then the Easter Bunny is going to be also hopping
- 48:41Speaker 1: over to the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce to do
- 48:45Speaker 1: the same thing over there, so photographs opportunities for you
- 48:52Speaker 1: to share some memories, and I think it's it's fantastic
- 48:56Speaker 1: that the Chamber is doing this along with Montpilier, Mansta
- 49:01Speaker 1: and Volkswagen. I'm not sure how much they have to
- 49:04Speaker 1: pay the Easter Bunny to make a special stop, but
- 49:09Speaker 1: I did find out yesterday that that hot pink Volkswagen
- 49:14Speaker 1: that I saw in the parking lot over at Montpellier,
- 49:17Speaker 1: Volkswagen was in fact the vehicle that the Easter Bunny
- 49:23Speaker 1: owns and did make his his trip from wherever the
- 49:27Speaker 1: Easter Bunny comes from too central Vermont. So anyway, uh yeah,
- 49:35Speaker 1: uh yeah, everything good.
- 49:39Speaker 2: So alright, I'm gonna let everybody know what's going on
- 49:42Speaker 2: right now. Anyway, So they're starting a GoFundMe for Keegan Hornstraw.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Keegan was our small glovem why tie Champ he lost
- 49:51Speaker 2: the title to John Pena. Uh and he also found
- 49:55Speaker 2: out the same idea testicular cancer.
- 49:58Speaker 1: So I remember that.
- 49:59Speaker 2: Yeah, Well he's an ICU right now and he his
- 50:03Speaker 2: testicular cancer came back and it triggered a heart disease.
- 50:06Speaker 2: He's going to a heart thing it's fucking with his
- 50:10Speaker 2: heart and he's going into emergency surgery. He's the bread
- 50:15Speaker 2: winner of that house. He is self employed, so we
- 50:19Speaker 2: need We're gonna set up a John pen No Kegan Oh,
- 50:23Speaker 2: Kegan Hornst Kegan Hornstra. Yeah, so I really like that guy.
- 50:28Speaker 2: I know he rubs a lot of people the wrong way,
- 50:31Speaker 2: but he's a he's a solid guy and he's always
- 50:34Speaker 2: been really upfront. Uh, some people just can't take that
- 50:38Speaker 2: kind of ship. So, uh, they need to raise funds
- 50:42Speaker 2: right now because he's the only he's the breadwinner of
- 50:45Speaker 2: the house. That's all of his you know, he's a carpenter.
- 50:49Speaker 2: So we're gonna get some stuff together today. I just
- 50:52Speaker 2: spoked a Kevin McDonald and I know that ABC is
- 50:58Speaker 2: trying to the ABC. They Association of Boxing Commission has
- 51:02Speaker 2: a special fund for fighters that get injured or stuff
- 51:08Speaker 2: like this happens, and we're gonna we're gonna try to
- 51:11Speaker 2: raise some money for them. They're they're great people. They
- 51:13Speaker 2: really are that in little cloths, their little baby boy
- 51:16Speaker 2: and stuff like son of a bitch.
- 51:21Speaker 1: He was. He was just at the battle in Perry,
- 51:26Speaker 1: Uh not long ago. Yeah, him and his well, I
- 51:30Speaker 1: stay in contact with Keegan all the time. I really do.
- 51:33Speaker 2: I like Keegan, I like a Dina, all of them
- 51:36Speaker 2: good people, and that that breaks my heart to hear
- 51:38Speaker 2: that I fucking hate cancer.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Dude. Yeah, so what what? What other information do we
- 51:49Speaker 1: have here? Nothing?
- 51:50Speaker 2: That's the phone call that I just got. I don't,
- 51:52Speaker 2: I don't. We'll have to figure it out. Hopefully we'll
- 51:54Speaker 2: have more information here shortly. All right, we can start,
- 51:58Speaker 2: uh start raising some money.
- 51:59Speaker 1: For will you? Will you let us know? Yeah? Yeah,
- 52:06Speaker 1: all right, what are we talking about? What else did
- 52:08Speaker 1: we miss here? No? No, that's that's it. It's just happen.
- 52:11Speaker 2: So, hey, did you tell people like I reached out
- 52:16Speaker 2: to you the other day and asked you to get
- 52:18Speaker 2: somebody on air, and I think it would be pretty
- 52:20Speaker 2: wild to have that person on air.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Well, before you say this person's name, you did do that.
- 52:30Speaker 1: And I did see this individual yesterday yep, on on
- 52:37Speaker 1: the street here and Barry and had a conversation with him,
- 52:42Speaker 1: my first conversation ever. And I don't even know what
- 52:46Speaker 1: the guy. I don't know what the guy looks like.
- 52:48Speaker 1: I don't.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Okay, well I do I've seen that, I've seen I've
- 52:52Speaker 2: seen some posts on Facebook.
- 52:53Speaker 1: I guess I.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Kinda I wouldn't know him if I saw him, Like
- 52:56Speaker 2: if he walked in right now, I wouldn't know who
- 52:58Speaker 2: he was. We're talking about branding Carbo public enemy number
- 53:03Speaker 2: one so far on Facebook. Well, I saw him yesterday, yep.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Chatted with him briefly, and I invited him on to
- 53:17Speaker 1: the podcast. Yep, and for a different reason than me,
- 53:22Speaker 1: for a different reason than you. So that my my
- 53:26Speaker 1: my my thing, And this is just kind of innert
- 53:31Speaker 1: for me. Is I love to hear people's stories. I
- 53:38Speaker 1: also believe, and maybe this is a real deficiency that
- 53:43Speaker 1: I have, but I also believe that everyone has the
- 53:50Speaker 1: ability as a human being to be a good, productive
- 53:56Speaker 1: human being. Ah, that's that woke liberal shit you're doing
- 54:00Speaker 1: right now. I know. No, No, this is more, no, no,
- 54:03Speaker 1: this is more the way I was raised. I was
- 54:06Speaker 1: raised this this way. However, there's a lot of people
- 54:10Speaker 1: out there in the world that don't deserve to be
- 54:15Speaker 1: walking and living and breathing the air that the rest
- 54:20Speaker 1: of us are, and karma always bite those people in
- 54:23Speaker 1: the air. I'm not sure if I believe in carca.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Let me ask you this, Okay, okay, you don't believe
- 54:28Speaker 2: in Kara No.
- 54:29Speaker 1: No, I said, I'm not sure if I believe in karma,
- 54:32Speaker 1: but I think the jury is still out on how
- 54:36Speaker 1: you don't think karma's kicking that guy in the ball.
- 54:38Speaker 1: I believe there are several examples in my life that
- 54:45Speaker 1: I could cite right now at the top of my
- 54:47Speaker 1: head where karma has not yet served and maybe never
- 54:52Speaker 1: will serve. It's so you don't know that because you
- 54:54Speaker 1: don't see on the back.
- 54:56Speaker 2: You don't see the back, and you don't know what
- 54:57Speaker 2: happening with them, right, And I mean, I understand, I
- 55:01Speaker 2: get this kid's like.
- 55:03Speaker 1: My point. The reason I wanted him on there brings
- 55:07Speaker 1: and Carbo does not have a good reputation at absolutely not.
- 55:12Speaker 1: And here's the thought. He knows that, Yes, he is
- 55:15Speaker 1: aware of that. He told me yesterday, I have a
- 55:20Speaker 1: lot of problems in my life. I have a lot
- 55:26Speaker 1: of changes that need to be made. And he talked
- 55:30Speaker 1: about some of the ways that he hopes to go
- 55:33Speaker 1: about making those changes. But it's so much man, he's
- 55:37Speaker 1: he knows he's a bad dude. Yeah.
- 55:38Speaker 2: So, And that's the thing is, we all have a
- 55:41Speaker 2: choice every single day to be a piece of shit
- 55:44Speaker 2: or not. And it's really easy to take the road
- 55:46Speaker 2: as a piece of shit versus doing the right thing.
- 55:49Speaker 2: It really really is.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Hard sometimes for people. My point was I wanted to
- 55:57Speaker 1: bring him on.
- 55:59Speaker 2: As more of a public service. I want him to
- 56:04Speaker 2: explain to people how he chooses on who he approaches. Okay,
- 56:10Speaker 2: Like how can we as a community. I want him
- 56:14Speaker 2: to explain, like, Okay, well, I see that people over there.
- 56:18Speaker 2: They look weak, they look you know. This is why
- 56:20Speaker 2: I don't approach that guy, because he's a big monster
- 56:22Speaker 2: of a person. I don't I honestly think that we
- 56:27Speaker 2: can handle as a community. We can handle these panhandlers.
- 56:30Speaker 1: The problem that.
- 56:31Speaker 2: We have right now is we're asking our state government
- 56:34Speaker 2: and our law enforcement to take care of these Well,
- 56:37Speaker 2: their hands are tied. There's only so much they can do.
- 56:40Speaker 2: All they can do is enforce our existing laws.
- 56:44Speaker 1: That's it. That's it.
- 56:45Speaker 2: So there's not one law if you have a panhandler,
- 56:50Speaker 2: or you have mister Carbo out here, there's no law
- 56:52Speaker 2: that says you, your husband, your uncle, and your grandfather
- 56:55Speaker 2: can't go down there and surround him and stop him
- 56:59Speaker 2: from aggressively accosting people. You don't have to physically do that.
- 57:02Speaker 2: You can do the same thing to the panhandlers at
- 57:04Speaker 2: the mall, at Shaw's, you can do it anywhere. Why
- 57:07Speaker 2: can't we get together as a community and say enough
- 57:10Speaker 2: is enough. We're not gonna wait for the state government
- 57:12Speaker 2: to take care of it. And I guarantee if the
- 57:14Speaker 2: citizens get involved.
- 57:15Speaker 1: Nobody wants to be a vigilante anymore. We don't need
- 57:18Speaker 1: to be a vigilante.
- 57:19Speaker 2: I'm not saying be a vigilanti, and I'm actually saying,
- 57:22Speaker 2: if you can't control your temper, if you can't control
- 57:26Speaker 2: like it, if you can't control yourself, please do not
- 57:29Speaker 2: become part of that community to go down and confront
- 57:32Speaker 2: these people. It's a it's a it's like a counter protest. Yeah,
- 57:36Speaker 2: So why couldn't we peacefully surround a panhandler here's the
- 57:40Speaker 2: thing and protect our community.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Loretta just said, there go your ratings. If you have
- 57:44Speaker 1: that guy on your podcast, let her down.
- 57:49Speaker 2: Everybody's gonna watch. It's like a train rat. Listen that
- 57:52Speaker 2: you can't Stretta.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Loretta says that, But I'll bet you're ass that she's
- 57:56Speaker 1: gonna be watching. Yeah, because I want to hear what
- 58:01Speaker 1: he has to say.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to know is justification. I want to
- 58:04Speaker 2: know how he chooses who he approaches. I want to
- 58:07Speaker 2: know because that's really what we want to know, is
- 58:10Speaker 2: I want to get to the root of it.
- 58:11Speaker 1: I want to know because that's what I want to
- 58:12Speaker 1: do too. I mean, listen, we all have I want people.
- 58:17Speaker 1: We all have a story. Yeah, we all have unique
- 58:22Speaker 1: lives that we lead.
- 58:23Speaker 2: I was a one bag, but I wasn't going around
- 58:26Speaker 2: here on the street. I mean true, not a justification.
- 58:29Speaker 2: I don't think what the guy's doing.
- 58:31Speaker 1: You're right, it is not a justification, not at all,
- 58:34Speaker 1: not at all. He has a story that I would
- 58:40Speaker 1: like to hear, and one of the things that he
- 58:43Speaker 1: told me was that he had two sisters that both
- 58:48Speaker 1: overdosed and died a year apart, and a father I
- 58:55Speaker 1: think it was I think he said a stepfather that
- 58:56Speaker 1: he was very close with who died from cancer, all
- 58:59Speaker 1: within a short period a time. I'm not I'm not
- 59:02Speaker 1: saying that gives you a ticket to become no, but
- 59:06Speaker 1: it's really easy. It's really easy. That that justifies you know,
- 59:11Speaker 1: that that that that that you can do drugs and whatever.
- 59:15Speaker 1: I mean, we've all had bad things.
- 59:17Speaker 2: So that exactly that's my point, like people, I choose
- 59:20Speaker 2: to be a good person right now. I choose not
- 59:23Speaker 2: to be a piece of ship before. I have absolutely
- 59:28Speaker 2: and I could use all of those excuses. I was
- 59:30Speaker 2: beat I was molested, I watched my mom overdose. I
- 59:33Speaker 2: have all of those stories, and I can make up
- 59:35Speaker 2: the excuses to walk out and just start robbing people
- 59:39Speaker 2: and doing stuff like that.
- 59:40Speaker 1: I choose not to.
- 59:41Speaker 2: That's that, and those are the choices. So I I mean,
- 59:45Speaker 2: I get the tragedy.
- 59:46Speaker 1: I get that.
- 59:47Speaker 2: It's all on how you deal with it. I don't
- 59:51Speaker 2: want to give the guy spotlight like what he's doing.
- 59:53Speaker 2: I don't want any it's not to do it as
- 59:56Speaker 2: to feel bad for him. Yes, I I cool, cool
- 59:59Speaker 2: with your store, but I still want to know how
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: you make it, how your brain.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Works, so that we can prepare for people like you. Yeah.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Listen a couple of comments here that are pretty interesting.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Donna says, do you remember when the Gypsies used to
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: come through town the members of the town ran them
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: out of town. Yeah. Dan just says something needs to
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: be done with the guy. Maybe maybe it will get
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: him help if he was to see people are fed
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: up with his actions.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, So why don't you put out Why don't
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: you put out like a start a page, a Brandon
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Carbo page when you see him, have a quick reaction
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: force that goes right down there and say, hey, we
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: don't want you here. We're gonna protect people from you
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: accosting people. We're gonna stand right here with you until
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: you either leave, but we're gonna make sure that you
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: don't approach any single mothers their children or try to
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: get into a vehicle. This is what we're gonna start doing, Brandon.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: So or how about this? How about we start you
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: with GoFundMe to buy you a one way ticket to Homewai.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: There we go, goodbye. Great place to go. You can
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: live with all the homeless people down there on the beach.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: You can fish every day. The homeless have it great
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: down there, they really do. Why do you want to
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: live in Vermont? We're poor, it's cold, people don't have money.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Go where the people have money. There a bunch of
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: rich New Yorkers down in Hawaii. They'll give you money.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: But why can't we do that as a community, Why
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: can't we come together? So stop asking the government to
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: fix your problems. We can fix our own problems. We
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: really can. You just need a leader to lead, that's
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: all you need. You need someone to step up and
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: say enough is enough. This is my community, Brandon. We
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: don't like you in our community. We'd appreciate it if
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: you'd leave our people alone. And if you don't, then
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: we're not gonna leave you alone. There's we can aggressively
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: panhandle right back if they're not gonna arrest him for
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: aggressively panhandling. And so this is what's gonna happen. Yes,
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: when the government sees people taking care of their own,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: then it's a problem. It's like, oh God, we have
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: to step in, we have to do something, yes, otherwise
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: they're going to realize they don't need us.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: I really would. I hope that he'll come on the air.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Please do not go after him as a vigilanta. You
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: can peacefully do this against him. You don't even have
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: to say anything. You really don't. Or he has the
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: opportunity to make some progress, becoming a more productive and
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: a better person, which then becomes a better one member
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: of our community.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: And that's the thing is people, one has that opportunity,
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: if everyone has that god given right and opportunity to
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: become a better human being.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: And if you're not showing some due diligence in taking
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: that upon you yourself to make that a goal to
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: become a better person, then it's time to go. If
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: you go somewhere else. But we're protecting our citizens, our citizen,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: we're going to protect our.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: Citizens, then we should we should be absolutely, there's no reason,
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Like I'm telling you right now, but where else.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Is my wife?
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: If my wife or my daughter came home and said
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: this guy, I would be down there right now, like, no,
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: you must leave. If you don't leave, I'm gonna stay here.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna block you, and if you put your hands
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: on me, I'm gonna consider that an attack.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Yeah, let me let me tell you something that that
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: really pissed me off. And I wasn't gonna say this
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: this morning, but I'm going to about a year ago,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: and I don't know if you remember this, I met
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: a guy who was homeless up by Babelfields and I
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: got new conversation with him and user in the whole night.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: There's usually always mental issues with it, oh yeah, oh yeah,
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: And then there was with this guy.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: We had a we had a very interesting conversation brief
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: maybe fifteen to twenty minutes about his life, and I
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: asked him if he would like to come on the
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: air with me, and he very enthusiastically accepted and did
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: not want to come to the studio, and I said, okay,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: when you want to come on the air. We made
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: a date. We made a time. I don't know how
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: many folks out there listening watching remember this. I was
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: there on the date at the time. I had microphones
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: rigged up lapel microphones right to show. He didn't show
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: up now and I waited for him, and I went
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I went live too, and people knew that that I
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: was going to be having him on the air because
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: he I wanted him he wanted to share his story.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Of course I wanted him to, but it's not about me.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: It was about him. He wanted to share his story,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: got maybe he got cold feet, who knows, I'll never know.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: He didn't show up. I was accosted by a few
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: listeners for attempting to exploit this guy, which burned my
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: ass because if you know me, if you know me
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: off the air as a guy, you know that that's
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: not mym O. I don't go out looking to exploit people.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: I love for them me. I love for them to
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: share their story and if it's done in a way
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: that others can relate to and maybe connect with and say, wow,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: I you know, I'd like to help this guy. Or
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: I hope maybe this is going to help me see
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: things from a different lens. I don't know. That's my goal.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: It's not to exploit somebody. I mean, I know the
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: podcast it's called aired Out, but it's not my goal
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: to just sit and air out someone's dirty fucking laundry.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: If they have a great story to share that others
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: can take away from, right, that's my goal. But for
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: a couple of these listeners to tell me that I'm
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: trying to exploit this homeless guy, kiss my ass.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: People get really offended at everything these days, they really do.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: It's just Jesus. If Karpa wants to come in here,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: he will back to car. If he backs out, he'll
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: back out. Hopefully it'll be soon, Hopefully it'll be next week.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: So everybody is where they're supposed to be, whether they
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: know it or not. But the thing is, once you
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: realize this in life, your life will be so much better.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: If you want good things to happen to you do
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: good things for other people, do you want bad things
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: to happen to you.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Do bad things? I'm gonna tell you a story, and
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: this is that is soap. That's that's it.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: So in motorcycle cris and stuff like that, they they
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: use for their good karma, because let's face it, they
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: take care of business, there's other things that may that
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: could bring them on bad karma. So they're always out there. They're,
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: you know, trying to raise money and stuff like that,
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: and that's that's really to counteract their karma because they
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: really believe in bad jujuh so. But I just remember
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: being there once and and this guy was complaining now
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: he had no money and he was crying and shit
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: like that, and.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I was like, bro, you just robbed.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: Somebody for ten grand and you're like crying that bad
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: things are happening to you. And my grandmother told me
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: this one. My grandmother told me once she was on
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: her deathbed. She she was a really hardcore Christian, went
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: to Saint Monica's used to go to Israel to pay hamit.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: And you know, she was telling me she goes anytime
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: that I was ever hurting for money, Yeah, she said,
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: I would take the last bit of money that I
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: had in my pocket and I would give it to
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: somebody that needed it.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: More than me.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Ooh, every single time, and she goes, that's how I
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: made it through life, and she said every time that
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: would always come back threefolds.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: You just got to believe it.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: You just have to believe and you have to be good.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: And this is where the real test comes in, because
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: your life is going to be like shitty upside down
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: and you're gonna want to do something shitty. You're gonna
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: be tested and they're like, hey, here's an easy route
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: you could Probably these people probably would never even miss
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: this if you took it right now, you know, just
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: something stupid. But and you may not even know that
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: you're being tested, but you are. You're gonna be tested
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: to a choice to either be good or.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Not be good.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: Yeah, and then that's gonna that's that's your roadmap.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Listen. Uh, we got a lot of comments coming in here,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: but I want to I want to say this. Carbo
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: said some things to me yesterday that blew your mind,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: that really took me off. Card not what I expected.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: You'd never expect anybody to take accountability these days. I
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: did not expect what came out of his mouth when
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: I It was just a chance encounter. I saw him
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: and I spoke with him. I am not going to
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: relay what he said right now on the mic. Let
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: him say it. I'm gonna let him say it, and
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: he may choose not to. He he may not show
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: up here. If he does, I told him he's got
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: a microphone. Yep. And I'm hoping this will go on,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: you man, I'm hoping this will take place next week.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: Is if there's no way justifying or saying this guy
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: is a good guy, right, Let's let's find out about him.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Le's find out how to find out. Let's find out
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: how this cat's mind works.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, that's I mean that, That's what That's what
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: I would like to do more than anything else, is
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: just find out what his story is and what what
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: his goals are. What what does he plan to do?
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Does he plan to stay in this community and continue
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: to until so bad that aggressively demand money. I mean, listen,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: I have my own story about Brandon Carbo that nobody knows.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: I know well, you know it because I've told you
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: I am I'm not going to say anything right now
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: until he comes on the air with me. Yep, he
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: doesn't even know what I know, but I'm going to
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: tell him, and I'm gonna tell I would rather tell
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: him face to face while he's sitting here on the
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: couch with everyone watching, and I will I will.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: I'm a huge believer in knowledge and education. How do
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: you find out how a shitty person works? You ask them,
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: how do I know about self defense and what shitty
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: people will do? Because I was a shitty person that
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: did some really shitty shit to other people because that
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: was my job at the time to do, so I
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: understand that. So that education, just putting it out there,
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: it could help you. Like when they did the interview
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: with that really famous child molester. Nobody wanted to have
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: that guy on air, but guess what, they educated the
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: masses because they asked the guy. They said, how do
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: you pick your children? I look for someone where a
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: father's not involved in their life because then it's not
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: dangerous for me. I only have to deal with a
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: mother or whatnot. So that's how he chose. So it
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: just opened your eyes. We need to be educated. The
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: cops are not always the cops are not here to
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: protect you. They're not here to They're here to enforce
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: the laws after a law has been broken. They can't
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: arrest you before the law has been broken. So they're
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: not here to protect you. They're here at the fact.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: So educate yourself on how these gumbags work. Speaking of which,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: and before I close out this morning, I just have
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: to I want to ask you, and I want to
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: ask everyone that's watching and listening this morning, and I
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: want you to, if it's possible, I want you to
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: give me maybe a less emotional response and more objective.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Response. It's really hard to respond without emotion.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: It is you have to consciously think about it.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: God, that's so back, And give yourself thirty seconds to respond.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: That is so difficult, Give yourself a minute, you know who.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: It's difficult for you, for you and for me. But
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: I want to ask folks, I am.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: So stupid in my emotional responses. This this this guy,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Travis Papano. I think it was.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, up at tractor supply. How is he working
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: in public where kids are coming in?
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: He is a high risk sex offender and he's not
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: supposed to.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Be around money. This is what I wanted to ask you.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: I know Michael mccaskell confronted him yesterday. Got he got
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: in trouble. They trespassed him.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I've read all the comments. I've seen it all.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: I have seen this guy before in tractor Supply. I
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: did not know. I did not know. I have no
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: love loss for these guys. I have no love loss
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: for anyone who has. And you can a repeat, repeat offense.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: You can point the finger and say, uh, you know,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: tough life. You can point the finger and say mental illness.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: You can point the finger at a lot of different things.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: The fact is that if I knew that this guy
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: was working, I wouldn't have gone. I wouldn't you know.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I told my daughter she's not allowed to go up
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: to uh tractice and I go into tractor supply all
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: the time. But I mean, if if if I were
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: if I and I go in there with with with
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: with my family, but if I knew that this guy
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: was who he was, and I was walking so hard
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: for me to keep my mouth shut, if I was
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: walking in there with with Lily, and then I learned
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: who that guy was that just helped us find the
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: bird seed away.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: Bad on you tractor Supply. Well, that's what I wanted
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: to ask you. That's my question to you and and
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: to everyone else. Is that really how you feel? Because
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: I've seen a lot of bashing of tractor Supply.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: I won't go in there. I reached out to everybody
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: I knew with kids that goes in there, and I
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: was like, dude, yeah, fucking go in there. And if
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: they have no problem hiring them people and protecting them people,
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: then fuck Tractors Supply. I'll go over to Agway. I'll
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: pay more money over to Agway before I'll go in there.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: If that's what they're gonna do.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't look at this. The comments have gone
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: silent here. There's hardly any comments coming in right now. Yeah. Ah, man,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: you know, I just you know, it's it's tough, you know, it's.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: But he has conditions of release. He's not supposed to
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: be around. How are they doing that?
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: I don't know. How did that get dusted under the rug?
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: I don't know. Really, all of the employees know.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: About him, and they protected him.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I'm not sure I can understand. I
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: just I wouldn't listen.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: I just im bothered me I was molested as a kid,
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: so that really that.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: I don't know. Man, I I don't even want to
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: go near a tractor supply. I don't because I'm afraid
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: of my own emotional response. And some people.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: How, how, how, how how people they don't let me
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: get away with beating people.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: I just can't. I can't fathom, uh, protecting someone like that.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: What I can fathom is very healthily distancing yourself from
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: from someone like Listen, they have problems.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: They protect him, but the kids weren't protected, correct, Fuck
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: that piece of ship.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: I just I don't know that I would.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: I wouldn't rather have somebody who robs and steals sitting
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: next to me.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: I can't. I don't know. Yeah, there's a line, there's
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: a line. I would.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: I just I feel like there should be a lot
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: of holes in them people, so they could never drink
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: water again.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: I just you fuck a kid's life up so permanent, bad, permanent, permanently.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: By doing that because you're you're you can't control your.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Sexual fucking Oh yeah, your sexual urge is well, he's
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: gonna go away now for two years.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: He was sentenced yesterday. Yeah, and he's protected in there too.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Did you know that they have.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Their own wing if you even go after one of
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: those guys in jail, so they keep them Number one,
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: they're not allowed to go anywhere near the lifers because
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: the lifers don't care. But the regular people that only
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: got a year. So if any of them it's a
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: hate crime, you'll get ten years added to your sentence
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: if you attack one of them guys. So they're protected
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: in jail, they're protected by track or fucking supply.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: I just I don't know.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: You're you're you're spending more time protecting these people versus
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: protecting the fucking kids that they did this too.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know, fuck them. I just I want
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: to ask you about that, and I wanted to ask listeners.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: I'm not a good person to ask about that, man,
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: because it happened to me as a kid, and I
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: have no love laws.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Yeah I could. I don't know. I know a couple
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: of people that work at Tractor Supply who are great people.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: They're good people.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: They're not the well they are not the ones that
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: hired them Tractors Supply.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: They don't. I don't know, man, I I totally agree
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: with you. I've given a lot of people chances a
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: lot of people that shouldn't be hired in a position
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: where he's he can be near. He needs to be
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: in a slaughterhouse and a freezer working. I understand that sentiment.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: I do.
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: Yeah, he does not need to be out in the public.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: He's proven over and over he can't be trusted. Yeah,
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: what happens if he what happened if he grabbed a
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: little kid and brought him back to fucking if somebody
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: didn't know that he was a registered see except that
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: say a parent didn't know, and he's like, oh, I've
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: got this back here, Come with me, little kid.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Yeah, I do. So. I
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: try to stay away from from folks like that as
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: far as I can. And I don't have the personal
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: experience that in my life that you've had. And I
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: still am like, yeah, Orry, we went down and rappit.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: A hole the stars, but we stayed away from politics.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: This time. We did stay away from politics. It wasn't easy,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: was it. The signs out? Listen, I'm gonna let you
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: I'll let you know about Brandon Carbo all right next
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: week and I'm hoping and he'll I'm hoping he'll come
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: on the show perfect and he may he may not.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: I'm hoping he will. I'll let everyone know if we
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: get a date and time, I will. I'll come down
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: and protect you. You'll come down protect me.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: Well, I mean, realistically, you're you're having a strange guy
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: in here that's done some really shady ship. Why wouldn't
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: you want something or somebody else down here? Just yeah,
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: you know what happens if he gets angry or flips
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: out or true becomes mentally unstable.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: True, you might want somebody that can choke. I want
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: to ask him. I want to ask him about drug use.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I want to ask him about his life. I want
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: to ask him about any remorse that he might have,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: any regrets that he may have, and also what his
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: plans are for the future, what what he wants to
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: do with his life.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Like I said, maybe we can all pitch in and
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: buy him a one way ticket out of here to
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: a while.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I'm going to find out. I would like to find
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: out and.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: Are drug addict and stuff like that. It's really hard
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: to quit when you stay in the same area, when
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: you surround yourself with the same people that you got
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: high with, how do you they still have your phone number.
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: It's still easy to go to their house.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: It's so maybe getting right away from the whole situation,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: not knowing anybody, it might help.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: Yeah, why thanks for coming in, but hey, thanks for
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: having me having I love coming in. Are you going
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: to continue to do this every Friday?
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: Every Friday? You know it? Do I have to start
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: paying you know you haven't paid me yet. Your your
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: check bounced
