- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Wait, I actually haven't looked at it.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Is it still up?

- 2:00SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 2:04SPEAKER_02: So if you guys can't tell, this isn't our first venture into trying to be internet famous.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Or internet anything.
- 2:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're not trying to be internet famous.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: We're just two dudes who want to talk about shit, and if people want to listen, sure.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: If not, then it's probably a good thing, but you know.
- 2:22SPEAKER_02: Well, I feel like I feel like every kid at some point wants to have internet fame.
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: I think it's like they ask like a bunch of eight-year-olds, and it's like their most popular thing.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: Like, I want to be a YouTuber, I want to be a streamer.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: That feels like a very new age thing, and like the last I mean, yeah, don't get me wrong, I was like that when I was a kid too.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: Well, like I was into the Call of Duty sniping, bro.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Well now it's actually viable though.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: Like when I was a kid, it was like, I want to play professional basketball, and it's like that's not happening.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Especially with like TikTok, it's it's kind of surprisingly easy how I guess I don't know if this is a boomer word to use, but how viral you can get so fast.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Dude, you gotta you just gotta have your vibrant moment, you gotta clip farm, you know.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: But then you gotta make it sustainable.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: I think it's really easy now to like be get like an insanely viral video.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Even like a few.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Like there's this one guy on TikTok, you know, Cedric.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: The entertainer?
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: He's that fuck.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: No, no, he's not.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: He's that fuck, he's that that dude.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Like, you gotta think of like you remember that old one?
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: I think he had a vine that was like Robo Bitch or whatever.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: He's like throwing shit in his yard.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I love him.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: I still watch him, and I was like, it's crazy because he like I don't even know if he gets enough views to get money, but he still has numerous videos with like hundreds and hundreds of thousands of views.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: What about professional Ank fucking come fucking damn?
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Like he's still popping, he's still out here.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: It's crazy.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's harder to like make it sustainable, but it's it's surprisingly easy.
- 3:51SPEAKER_02: Sustainability, dude.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: You just gotta have one viral moment and live off it for the rest of your life.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: Just be washed as fuck.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: Like the what do you think the 6-7 kid's doing right now?
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: You think uh he made 6-7 coin and then rug pulled it and became a millionaire.
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: I think it's I think he's doing pretty alright.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: That's so fucking stupid.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: I hate that.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Uh 6-7's one of those ones that lasted like a lot longer than I thought it was going to.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: And I honestly I still hear it, and I hate that it's reached a point where even when I hear it, I kinda like chuckle a little.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: 6-7.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: It's just so fucking stupid.
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: Uh it is what it is at the end of the day, dude.
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: Uh speaking of being an unk, dude, like it's one of those things you just realize, like, oh the world's not made for me anymore.
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: It's made for fucking It's not.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Made for 20 year olds.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: That was actually the first that was the first topic I want to get into because I was like, I wrote down a couple topics, but I was like, we have to make this the first topic, which is just getting old.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Things about getting old, and like I don't know.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: I have a big fear of like I wouldn't say being forgotten, but being like left out.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Like some new invention that's gonna come out that it's gonna be like the new huge thing.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Like, I can't even like perceive what it could be, but maybe in like 15 years something's gonna come out.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Do you feel like I'm like just not gonna understand it or how to use it, and I'm gonna be like, I don't want I don't want that to happen.
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be like how old people are with iPhones, and it's gonna be like grandpa, just fucking upload your brain link to the cloud, and you're like, I don't know what that means.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: No, I completely get that.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: I've seen that they're like, I've seen TikToks where they're like, uh it's like alright, grand like 2086, like alright grandma is like, here's your new Neuralink thing in your head.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: He's like, okay, like now like FaceTime somebody, like, let's test it out.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: And then she's like, she like squints or something.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: It's like, okay, no, you took a screenshot.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: Come on, grandma, like no, I always see that one where it's like, oh, memes in the future, and it's just like grandpa, watch this, and it's unimaginable torture of 20 years micro microsed into one second.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: It's like, wasn't that funny, Grandpa?
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: And he's just like, ah it's like even in the last 100 years, the like speed at which like humanity has evolved is like insane, and I feel like do you think it's only gonna get faster, or you think it'll like because it feels I mean it's crazy how if you go in like 10-year gaps how much the world changes, because like like 'cause when you go in like the I don't know, I don't know that much about life.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: I wasn't there in the fucking 17-1800s, but I feel like it was a lot slower then than we got to like the 20th century, especially the later 20th century when like technology came in, it just like skyrocketed.
- 6:39SPEAKER_02: Well what's that saying Cleopatra was born closer to the moon landing than to the building of the pyramids?
- 6:47SPEAKER_02: And it's just like that sounds like a fake fact.
- 6:50SPEAKER_02: That's a real fact.
- 6:52SPEAKER_02: I did I didn't just make it up.
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: I've heard it somewhere either.
- 6:55SPEAKER_02: I'm looking this up.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: I'm looking this up right now.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: When the fuck was she even born?
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: 2013?
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: Oh god, it's already a Google result.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: Oh my fucking god, that's insane.
- 7:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so like um no, technology has definitely fucking gone a lot faster than it has for anything else.
- 7:26SPEAKER_02: Uh but the question is, are we gonna peter off or are we gonna just destroy the world before we get like cool shit?
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: I wanna be a robot, dude.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: I wanna be a robot.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: I don't know about you.
- 7:35SPEAKER_02: I think that'd be cool.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: I I don't.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: I really don't know because like there's so much I don't I don't know.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: I f I feel like a lot of it nowadays like fear mongering about like AI destroying the world.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: Let it happen.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: And I I mean I'm not a big no, no, I don't I don't really like AI, but I don't know if it's actually gonna like I think we'll still be around in a hundred years.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: I just got a feeling of like a vibe.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: You just need to buy checking the universe.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: You know how pissed I'd be though if I was like 70 and then they like found out the secret to like long life, like oh we figured out how to live 500 years, but it only works if you were if you're under like you have to get it before you're 20 or something.
- 8:17SPEAKER_02: Oh, there's a movie about that who was like this is the last mortal man alive, he's 120 years old and everyone else is immortal.
- 8:25SPEAKER_02: I don't know, I saw any TikTok shorts and I was like, that looks cool, I'm never watching that.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: Dude, there's so many like shitty movies I've seen on TikTok YouTube shorts that I want to sit down and just watch.
- 8:37SPEAKER_02: I tried doing it and I'm like, oh, the TikTok short was the best part of the movie, I don't have to watch this.
- 8:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: But um Yeah, I don't know.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: I have a big fear of missing out, but getting old is I don't know.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: I mean it's it's it's just funny because like it's kind of a joke, because we're not that old at all.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: Like, but it is it is uh we're at that age now where we like well you know, see a young group of kids having fun, you're just like uh it's not my time anymore, you know.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: Like, let them have fun.
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: Well that I experienced it the most, at least for me.
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: Uh I'm not to dox myself, but I used to live in a college town and I used to go to the college bar a lot, and then you turn 25 and you're like, This isn't for my I am out of place.
- 9:26SPEAKER_02: I am the old person here.
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: I don't like this.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: I could we could definitely go around there would be like things that make us feel old.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: One of them for me is like seeing a group of teenagers makes me so irrationally angry, like in public.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: I don't know what it is.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna what are you whipping schnappers doing now?
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: Don't get wrong.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of things boomers do where I'm like, oh my god, you old sack of shit, like whatever, but like that's one where I see young people and I'm just like fuck, I hate you.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: And they haven't done anything and they're just like existing in public.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: To be fair, a lot of them are annoying as fuck.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: Like, I it's they're ridiculously loud too.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: Like, were we that loud that young?
- 10:07SPEAKER_02: For me, it's always the I can't judge because we were exactly the same.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: I was loud when I was a kid, I was cringe when I was a kid.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: Everyone's like, oh fucking, all these kids watching this cringe shit, and it's like, dude, we're watching MLG compilations.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: What are we talking about?
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: Nah, they're they're cringe.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: They got like tongue tongue saher and whatever the f dude, I be seeing some shit on TikTok, and I'm like, I don't I I one thing I'm really glad about though is like when I'm on the internet, I just having the ability and comfort of just being like, I don't know what the fuck this is and I don't care.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: Like just moving on, like I'm not learning this.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Oh, there's my cat joining joining the podcast.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: Joining the podcast.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: No, but yeah, I was actually trying to look up a bunch of slang terms and like new ones that we wouldn't know, and I was gonna like have you like guess what the can I I didn't have I kind of forgot some of them because most of them I'm also like the the two that I looked up made me stop.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: I was like, this is fucking stupid.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: I'm not writing.
- 11:06SPEAKER_02: Speaking of which, can I tell a story?
- 11:09SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 11:10SPEAKER_02: Okay, so when we were both working at the same place, uh this customer came in and she really liked my boy over here.
- 11:18SPEAKER_02: And I was trying to convince him, because she was a little bit older, to just make up a slang and just say, Oh, that's so Eugene, and he wouldn't do it.
- 11:28SPEAKER_02: Just confused the fuck out of here, just like, oh yeah, is that what it was, Eugene?
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like oh that's so Eugene, you're being a Eugene right now, and she she'd just be like, What?
- 11:37SPEAKER_02: That's so mean, bro.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: I forgot about that.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: No.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: I was I I might do something like that now, but I was like way too shy boy back then, you know.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: Just a shy little kid.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: Well, dude, sometimes you just gotta put your brain in that mode.
- 11:55SPEAKER_02: Like sometimes you just gotta be like, everyone around me is an ed PC.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: I can do whatever I want.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: My favorite thing to say though now is um it's kinda like the same thing that women do, or like, I'm just a girl, you know, that like diminishes them as like like I just like my favorite one is like I'm just a 13-year-old, you know.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: I'm just 13.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: I've been saying that one a lot, like when like something goes wrong, I'm just I'm a 2017-year-old, like it's no big deal.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: It's no big deal, I'm just a little kid, dude.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: But one thing, okay, here's another topic I wrote down because and this kind of goes hand in hand with just age.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: Uh have you heard of uh Nitos?
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: The the like the things and they have like air bubbles in them and you pop them like little cute squishy cubes.
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: Let me let me c you know what's crazy?
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: I think that's what they are.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: But I see them all the time, and I know like little girls are obsessed with them.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: Those are like the fucking glitter dumplings.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's not just little girls, it's it's hang on, let me google and Google what is a needer needo.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: Neater.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: I didn't even Okay.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I don't want to dox myself either, but I do I work both of us work.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: I mean, we're both just random dudes that we by the way.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: We don't really do an introduction, but we just work regular jobs and stuff.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: We used to work at the same place, but multiple times.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: I work at uh undisclosed like retail store and we have needles, and I like in the span of like two days had like five people ask me if we had any, and I kept thought they were saying needles, you know, and I was like, What?
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: I'm also fucking hard of hearing in one ear, so but I was like, what the fuck are you saying?
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: Like, and then when I saw that, I was like, I don't know what that is, but that's how I knew it was like a big thing.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: But I actually haven't even looked into what they are besides some like squishy collectible thing.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: But the reason I wrote it down for a topic is because um uh Seven Brew, you know Seven Brew?
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: Do they have Seven Brew where you are?
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: I don't what what is it?
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: I've never heard of it.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: It's a new coffee place, like well it's not like new new, but it's gotten like really popular in the last year.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Like um, is it like those for those listening that don't know, like he used to live where I am now, he's since moved away, and I'm still in the same spot.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: But like in our town, bro, like our general area, there has been like five opening.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: Like the town I currently live in, there's one, which is insane.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: Um Yeah, for those of you who don't know, he lives in Bumblefucknowh.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: So them them getting a McDonald's was big news.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: Dude, dude, you need to come back because it's literally it's it's crazy how much it's changed.
- 14:30SPEAKER_02: The fact that you've got a real gas station instead of grandpa's gas stop is amazing to me.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: No, we've got like four new restaurants now.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: Gas station, the road's like double wide, a coffee shop, they're building like three more restaurants.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: But anyway, I'm getting sidetracked.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: Seven Brew is like, have you been to Dutch Bros?
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: I was gonna ask, so it's like Dutch Bros or HTO or whatever the fuck.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: So it's similar to Dutch Bros in that they're like, I now here's the funny thing.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: I haven't actually been to Seven Brew because I'm nowadays I'm like, I'm not paying$8 for a fucking coffee.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: And like they they do the thing where it's just a drive-thru place, I believe, and like they come up to your car and like like, hey guys, what's that?
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: Like they're like way too hyped, they're playing like fucking EDM in the background.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: But I mean I've heard the coffee's pretty good, but anyway, they do like some like I guess Nido giveaway, some partnership with Nitos.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: I don't know, but they have like a rare one that you can only get at Seven Brew.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's like during a certain time or when you order a drink.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: Again, I'm too fucking old to care and actually research it, but it pissed me off because I would see these TikToks of people like literally I mean Seven Brew already has like a pretty long line most of the time, and it pisses me off, but like lines that go around like three blocks long.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: Jesus with like grown adults in the car.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: They don't even have kids that are like doing like oh getting my needle, like and they what and the my thing I hate the most about it is they're they're always like trying to be self-aware, funny humor, where they're like, Oh my god, this is so embarrassing.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I'm 24 and I'm sitting in this line for two and a half hours, my needle.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: Ha ha ha.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like, you're a fucking loser.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: Like, what are you doing?
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: I need it, I'll send you some videos, but these lines are ridiculous.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: Like, absolutely.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: I'm sure the viewers at home can look it up, but I could I could like really quickly screen share for you, cuz this is just one of those things that just makes me like irrationally angry.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: And I don't know if it's I feel like it's justifiable, right?
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: This isn't just me being like an old gramps, like I don't know.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: Hey, let me share this.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I forgot to do this.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: This is another thing, like I've stopped caring about like uh technology, so sometimes I don't know how to use things.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, this is like a news story.
- 16:45SPEAKER_02: I'm not We don't watch the news, I get all my information from Twitter.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: I just want you to see like a quick thing of this line.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna mute this.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, like I've seen some that are like like literally like mile two miles long.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: For like, and I don't even fully understand what a needo is, but I think it's just the new collectible thing.
- 17:12SPEAKER_02: It's like when uh Chick-fil-A has like a special cup.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: Have you s ever seen anything like this?
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: Like, you see this line I'm look- I'm showing you right now.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: This is ridiculous.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: And this isn't just like oh, this is just like one place and it's crazy.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: I have seen like dozens and dozens of videos.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Dude, have I seen lines like that?
- 17:31SPEAKER_02: I collect Pokemon cards, sir.
- 17:34SPEAKER_02: I see that ridiculous shit.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but that's a little more like somewhat niche.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: This is like a very But but you're saying it's like at every single one the line is just incredibly at least like when this was going on.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: This was a little while back.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: This is something I've just had written down for a while when we started talking about doing the podcast.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: But yeah.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: I I I don't get it.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Like I get there's nothing wrong with collecting things.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: And I'm only saying that because you collect Pokemon cards and I want to be nice.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: I'm j I'm just kidding.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: But um no, I get collecting things is fun, but like that is that is ridiculous.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: Especially because like these people don't even have kids.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: It's just like grown adults who are like obsessed with seven birds.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: It's unc culture.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: Unc culture.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah Most of them are younger than us.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: They're like adults, but they're like younger, you know.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: They're not like, you know, at least I hope they're not my age.
- 18:32SPEAKER_02: That would I know you work with like younger adults just in your job.
- 18:37SPEAKER_02: Have you ever noticed like some of them just are still children?
- 18:41SPEAKER_02: And it's so hard to get that shit across.
- 18:44SPEAKER_02: It's like, oh I need to ask my I need to ask my mom to go out, and it's like, dude, you're 22.
- 18:50SPEAKER_02: What do you mean you have to ask your mom just leave?
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: I don't don't even get me started on the kids in my workplace.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: Like I I spend my time talk there's like a a few people my age most of my time.
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: Like I talk to like there's like two people that are like one's like near retirement and he's super cool.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: Um I can't Don't get me wrong, there's some like goofy kids that are just like super funny, but then like I can't engage them in a conversation lasting more than like 20 seconds before I'm just like uh oh my god.
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: Okay, so I want to talk about something.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: So the moment I realized I was unk was when I was trying to play video games and I was getting my ass mopped.
- 19:38SPEAKER_02: And then some kid is like, dude, you're old, why don't you go start a family?
- 19:42SPEAKER_02: Like what we're what are you doing?
- 19:43SPEAKER_02: Go pay your bills, and I'm just like Oh my Loki, you're a little bit right, dude.
- 19:51SPEAKER_02: It's like that scene from Smiling Friends, it's like Valorant.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Oh well you you already kind of shit at Valorant, no offense.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: No, no, dude, I've done that much.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: No, but it's like we're dude, we're playing quick play, and I'm just like, can you guys stop meowing in the mic?
- 20:05SPEAKER_02: Like I'm just trying to fucking I just worked a 12 hour shift, I'm not trying to hear anything.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm thankful that I I I just got back on Valorant like like a month ago.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: I don't play like more than like once a week, but I was surprised like I was still fairly good at it, but day's definitely approaching.
- 20:28SPEAKER_02: My video game skills have gone down because I used to be like Diamond 1 in Overwatch when it came out and I was in high school, and now it's just I can't even compete.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I don't know.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: I've I've I don't know.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: I'm also finding more comfort in older video games, especially ones I played as a kid.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Like me and my girlfriend are playing through uh Zelda Twilight Princess right now on the Wii.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, dude.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: I really like that one.
- 20:55SPEAKER_02: Uh I forgot they're gonna remake one on the Switch 2 soon.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: I think it's Ocarina.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: I heard about that.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: Are you gonna get it?
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Someone's older.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: I never played Ocarina, but I think after I finished Twilight Princess, because the reason I really want to play Twilight Princess, I mean we just started it, but the reason I really want to play is just nostalgic, and but I never actually played it.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: It was my brother playing it, and I would just sit there and watch him when I was a kid.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: I like get a turn every once in a while, and he would like I remember there was something like you could change into a wolf, and like I remember he'd just like to win.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: He would hand you a controller that wasn't plugged in.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: Uh no, no, there was only one, and I knew I was playing, I wasn't fucking stupid, but I was old enough to know that trick.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: I was like six, but um no, I barely actually like played it, so I want to like play through it for once.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: But god the graphics are so old.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Sometimes I can't even tell what's happening on the screen, but especially using like the Wii remote.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: I haven't used a Wii remote in like ages.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: But that's a pretty good console though.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: It's it's solid.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: No dude, uh that was me, because um whenever I'm like I wanna play video games, I literally just pop up my emulator and it's either super monkey ball or crazy taxi.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: That's like all I play right now.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:12SPEAKER_02: Cause I'm like, this is this is my safe space.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: I know I don't have to fucking uh for me it's just I know I don't have to try because sometimes I feel like especially with competitive games, you gotta try super hard and it's like I don't know what I'm doing, I don't care.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: See, I reached a point like maybe a year or two ago where I still play competitive games.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: Like I play an egregious amount of Rocket League still.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: Um and I'm still in my same rank, I don't care about my rank.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: Honestly, I forget that I'm playing ranked, it's just my go-to game mode.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: I've been in like plat two, plat three.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: Dude, rage baiting kids is so fun, and it gets easier every single day, and I love testing out new methods.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Uh my classic one and most successful was just typing lol after every goal or every mistake they make.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: That was the fastest.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: You can get them just saying slurs within like the first 30 seconds of the game.
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: Um I just I just started doing testing out a new one the other day, but I don't remember what it was.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: You're you're testing out the different rage baits.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're super fun.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: I mean the the just LOL is probably the most efficient if you want to make someone mad, but um I like saying when they people get mad at me and be like, I'm nine years old.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: That's I look I like typing that one on.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: That one's good.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: Because they either like back off or like double down and just like keep going with the slayers, but um I'm nine years old this fucking while.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: What do you what am I supposed to say to that?
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: I'm not free from the rage bait though, but I mostly just get mad at the game.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: I did get chat banned like a week ago for like an entire week.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: But I don't know.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: I do gotta I'm getting to the age, I gotta start working on my anger problems, bro.
- 23:58SPEAKER_02: I dude, I I figured that out pretty recently, and I was just like, I'm getting angry at this for nothing.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: Like mine's mainly with, and this is actually another topic I wrote down because I was having a crash out today.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: Every day, bro, I am yelling at people on the road.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: Like my road rage, I don't know if it's just like where I live, but people are pissing me the fuck off.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: And I am a firm believer, and I want your opinion on this, about having like driving age limits and having more like uh what do you call it regulations with age?
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: I firmly believe Okay, I I'm I I my girlfriend gets on to me for this because I'm like really harsh, because I'm like no one past the age of 65 should have a car or be allowed to drive, but that's harsh.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: I don't actually believe that.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: I get mad, but like trust me, I I can't tell you how many times like someone's pissing me off on the road, and then I go past them and I look at them, and they're old, I'm like, yep, that checks out, you know?
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: So I actually yeah, you old fuck.
- 24:52SPEAKER_02: I actually have a story about this because one day I was driving to work and um So there was a parking lot and like it had an exit, but it was literally like you park and then it's just a four-foot drop just because of the way the buildings it's stupid, but I just see a car over the thing just hanging there, and then I look and it's an old woman, and I'm just like that that checks out.
- 25:19SPEAKER_02: And I I was like, Do I stop?
- 25:22SPEAKER_02: Because it's like I well, what what do I do?
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: Do I just I I feel bad I don't want to be like actually like ageist because like sometimes I'm like I just old people drive me fucking crazy, dude.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: I really don't want to be like that when I'm older, and that like kind of goes to back to like the fear I have of I don't have like a fear fear of getting older, but like I do worry about like certain societal things.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: Like I don't Am I just gonna one day wake up and be like I'm gonna go stand in the middle of the aisle at the grocery store and like starting.
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna drive the wrong way down the road because I know what I'm doing.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, no.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: I and what's really worrying is like my dash cam broke and I don't have it now.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: I need I feel so like naked.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: You ever like wear like a wa yeah, you ever wear like a watch for a long time and then you like take it off and you like forget to wear it one day and you feel like naked?
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: It's kind of like that feeling.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: I just feel so vulnerable now because I got so used to having that security.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: And I've literally almost been hit like once a week for like the past few months.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: I don't know, it's bad, but I think here's my here's my here's my idea for driving rules, and you can let me know what you think.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: First off, I think we should raise when you can get your license.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: I think we should raise that on a lot of things, bro.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: Like kids should not be doing shit.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: Like, first off, 21 needs to be like the age for most things, but I'll say raise driving limit or license for 18 years old.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: You can still start getting your permit, I think, at 15, that's fine.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: But you should have like a lot more learning.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: But you get your license at 18.
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: Let's say, and then you have to get retested, big test, at 25.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: Because I don't want to just be like, oh, when you get like past 60, you need to be retested every year.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: Although that is in my plan, you'll hear.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: But like, there's a lot of people who like, you know, they start driving, and then once they get their license, they're like, cool, and they start learning bad habits, and like that can just go unchecked for 40 years until you actually hold to the point.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: It's ridiculous.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: And I'm sure there's probably one or two things I do that like is like that, but I think you should have a big retest at 25, what, then 35, and then at 50, I think it should start.
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: I don't know what's a freak, because you don't you can't really do it every year.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: That's a little extreme.
- 27:39SPEAKER_02: Every year, every five years.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: I was gonna say like every five years, and then when you hit 65, I'm trying to be nice here.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: I want to say every year, but I'm gonna have to go with like like 65, and then I think after 70, it's gotta be every year.
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: It's just gotta be.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: It can be a like a much smaller test, like it doesn't need to be a big grand thing, it just needs to like test your cognitive function.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah you know, I think the younger ones, like 25, 35, and 50 should be a lot bigger test.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: And I don't think a lot of people want to hear that because like you don't want to be like an adult for 30 years and get your license taken away.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: That's embarrassing.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: But at the at the same time, like there's people don't know how to fucking drive, dude.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: So they're they're ridiculous.
- 28:24SPEAKER_02: So so I get what you're saying, but I want to touch back on the point where you said everything needs to be 21.
- 28:31SPEAKER_02: Uh you're you're a little bit older than me, but I remember when I turned 18, that same month they turned the cigarette age to 21.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 28:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 28:42SPEAKER_02: But I was grandfathered in.
- 28:45SPEAKER_02: And and the same thing happened to my dad when he turned tw uh 18, then they made liquor twenty-one.
- 28:53SPEAKER_02: Uh and basically I just had to stock up or he just had to stock up, I stocked up, but then every fucking person was like, Hey, you can buy cigarettes, can you buy me cigarettes?
- 29:04SPEAKER_02: And I was just like, Yeah.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: I was like, Yeah, sure, I'll I'll be a bro, like it doesn't matter to me.
- 29:10SPEAKER_02: But then it's like, stop fucking asking me, bro.
- 29:12SPEAKER_02: You I bought you a pack a day ago.
- 29:14SPEAKER_02: What do you mean you're out?
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: I mean, that was me though when I was a kid.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: I I was like 17 going through a pack.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: So I like you're asking the bums around.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: I remember getting grandfathered in, but like, I don't think you should be grandfathered in.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: I think it should be, you know what?
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: You can't I don't know about um like voting.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: Voting, I'm okay I'm okay with for the most part.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: It's like as long as we're gonna have like you can list in the fucking army, you can vote, but I think they should be raised anyway.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: But like if we're gonna change it, no fuck the grandfather again.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: It changes today, and if you're 19, you're already used to it, tough luck.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: Sucks to suck.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: I know that's not realistic because like you know, you could be 18 already registered to vote, and then they're like, nope, you can't do it anymore.
- 29:59SPEAKER_02: Well, my whole thing's not really realistic, but you can be 18 and die for your country, but you can't have a beer.
- 30:04SPEAKER_02: That's a little cringe.
- 30:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, or a say.
- 30:07SPEAKER_02: Like I mean, I guess, yeah.
- 30:10SPEAKER_02: So that's that's why I don't know, man.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: That's why I suggest every politician older than 60 should be enlisted in the army to prove their worth.
- 30:19SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: That's another thing.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: We I mean we have so many like term limits, like 25 or 35 minimum.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: Like 65 has to be the cap off.
- 30:27SPEAKER_00: Have you I mean, I mean I don't know if you've been keeping up with like Mitch McConnell.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: Mitch McConnell is he alive or are they just dragging his dead body around?
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: Well, that's that's we're not so sure about that, but like his have you seen his most recent his reappearance in the Senate?
- 30:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 30:44SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, dude.
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: That was he does that motherfucker has no idea what's going on.
- 30:50SPEAKER_02: He it just reminds me of all those Biden speeches where he's just like oh yeah, it's like President Biden, how what do you think about like Virginia and and what they're doing?
- 31:02SPEAKER_02: And it's like Virginia's a great place, they have lots of grapes.
- 31:05SPEAKER_02: I started eating grapes when I was eight years old, and I choked on one and almost died.
- 31:12SPEAKER_02: And I had to go to the hospital.
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: I need a check on Biden.
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: How's he doing, man?
- 31:18SPEAKER_00: Mitch McConnell is 84 years old.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: Good lord.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: That dude should be in a home fucking playing shuffleboard.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: Well, I just saw a video of him the other day and like um sorry, oops.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, I just saw a video of him the other day in like 1987, which I think was like two years.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: He joined the Senate in like 1984, 1985, or something like that.
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: Um, but it's weird seeing someone like that in like speaking back then when they're just so cognitive.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: Like, it doesn't even sound like what he sounds like now, and I'm like, this is crazy.
- 31:53SPEAKER_00: Like, I forget he's like an actual politician, yeah, or whatever.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: And then I saw someone at the same time, like, um, put a compilation of like Trump talking now versus like ten years ago, and like it's crazy how much more well spoken I wouldn't say well spoken, he's still, you know, he says questionable things and but like more cognitive.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: He spoke so fast and like clearly, just ten years ago versus now, he like I don't even know like how they're keeping him standing half the time.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: I mean he's been falling asleep at a lot of events or whatever, but I don't know.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: If I get if I'm like looking like Mitch McConnell, I don't even care what I'm doing, just put me the fuck down, bro.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: Just euthanize me.
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: That's just I don't even think Mitch knows where he is or wants to be doing what he's doing, and he fucking shouldn't be.
- 32:41SPEAKER_00: That's ridiculous.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: We need to have like age limits or at least term limits on these things.
- 32:48SPEAKER_02: Well, especially for Senate, because you could be in it just for 40 years just being like, I'm not leaving.
- 32:54SPEAKER_02: Like, like what is that?
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's fucking stupid.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: And is the president the only one that has like a term limit?
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: I'm pretty sure governor, you can just be governor forever.
- 33:05SPEAKER_02: Uh d I'm not gonna pretend I I used to know all this when I was in school.
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: I've been I mean I've been getting back into it recently, but I can't remember now, but like the governor I have's been here for fucking I mean I don't care, I'll tell people I'm from Texas.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: Governor Rick Perry.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: I got fucking I've grabbed we've had Greg Abbott for like 70 years.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: How old is he?
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: 68?
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know.
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: Hang on, let me see.
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: How long?
- 33:31SPEAKER_00: Let's see, how long has he been governor?
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: Okay, not as long as I thought, but it's still like 11 years at this point.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: King, is there no term limits for this stuff?
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: The viewers at home, I don't care if we're talking about politics.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: There's no limit to what we're gonna talk about on this show.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, but every topic I put up you just fucking took down.
- 33:57SPEAKER_02: What topic?
- 33:58SPEAKER_01: No one I texted you.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: What did you text me?
- 34:03SPEAKER_00: Which one?
- 34:04SPEAKER_00: When?
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: Earlier today.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: The one about the peanut butter?
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: Is that a topic or just a fucking stupid ass question?
- 34:13SPEAKER_00: Cause I'll read it.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: Read it, read it.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna talk about this.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: Hang on, let me finish real quick what I was looking up.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: Let me see.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: Uh yeah, so at least Texas does not have a term limit, which is fucking ridiculous.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: Like, even if I voted for someone and they got in, I'd be like, yay, they got in.
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: I'd still like after 10 years, I'd be like, alright, you should probably leave.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: Like, let someone else come in here and do it.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: Let me let someone else have a term of the controller real quick.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:46SPEAKER_00: I gotta read this fucking text.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: Is it murder?
- 34:49SPEAKER_00: Question mark.
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's why I didn't see it.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: I was taking a nap earlier.
- 34:55SPEAKER_00: Is it murder if you eat a peanut butter sandwich and then kiss a girl who's allegic allergic to peanut butter?
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: Is it murder?
- 35:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: You said yes?
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 35:03SPEAKER_00: I feel like you That's not what I said.
- 35:06SPEAKER_00: Um I think I vaguely read that when I woke up and I was like, yeah, what the fuck ever.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: Like.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: Is it murder?
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't really um I mean, did you know she was allergic to it?
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: Maybe.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: Does that make it premeditated?
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: Um I think so.
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 35:33SPEAKER_00: We should I feel like this is something I just need to look up because I don't know how to answer that.
- 35:37SPEAKER_00: I mean, you're definitely a fucking awful person if you did that.
- 35:42SPEAKER_00: What what if I what if I wanted to eat in a crestable?
- 35:45SPEAKER_00: I actually this is actually the one time I hate AI so much, but this would be like the perfect time to ask chat GBT things to get its opinion on things.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna put your exact text into fucking chat GBT.
- 35:57SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna type it exactly how you said it to me.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: Hang on one second.
- 36:02SPEAKER_02: Okay, while you do that, I'm gonna grab my water bottle real quick.
- 36:05SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 36:09SPEAKER_00: For those of you at home, I probably get at least one fucking question from this dude every single day that is just the most stupid, like, how did you even think of this type type question?
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: How did I even think of it with my brain tell me?
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: It's gonna say no, it's not a technically murder, but I was very curious to see what it what it says.
- 36:41SPEAKER_00: I can't type for shit.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: That's not even be me being old, I'm just fucking stupid.
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: Alright, here we go.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: No, ca accidentally cause accidentally.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: What if I did it knowingly?
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna type that.
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: No, accidentally kiss causing an allergic reaction this way would not not automatically be murder if someone has to fear peanut butter.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: This is lame.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: What if I did it on purpose?
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: They did it on fear pin.
- 37:08SPEAKER_02: Dude, that's how you become the greatest assassin ever.
- 37:10SPEAKER_02: You just start dating them and then eat a peanut butter sandwich.
- 37:14SPEAKER_02: I didn't know.
- 37:17SPEAKER_00: Oh, it could be a crime.
- 37:19SPEAKER_00: It doesn't be con I don't think it would constitute a murder, but there's your fucking answer, according to ChatGPT.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: But what if I'm just a 2017-year-old?
- 37:31SPEAKER_00: What if I what if I just said oopsie my bad?
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: Oops.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: I'll type that.
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: What if I said oopsie my bad?
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: If it was genuinely an accent and oops, I didn't realize peanut residue could sound okay.
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: It's not playing along with me.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: I really like want to play along with play along with why I say play a wrong like that, like in a Chinese accent.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: I really want to play along with uh ChatGBT more, like not for like actual AI use, but more to like troll it and stuff.
- 38:03SPEAKER_02: Oh that just reminds me of those people who are like, hey chat GPT, like they're playing GTA, it's like I'm about to rob this gas station.
- 38:10SPEAKER_02: What should I do?
- 38:11SPEAKER_02: I'm going in right now.
- 38:13SPEAKER_02: It's just freaking out.
- 38:17SPEAKER_00: I've yeah, I've seen some pretty interesting ones there.
- 38:20SPEAKER_02: But like like I love AI just to fuck around and do shit.
- 38:23SPEAKER_02: I get it's like terrible for the environment and like takes people's jobs.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: It just depends on what we're doing it for.
- 38:31SPEAKER_00: Because sometimes I want to say I hate AI, and then you send me like that fucking Spider-Man meme you sent me like a week or two ago.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna put that up on the screen right now for everybody to see.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: But I like I hate AI so much that I see that and I just like laugh and I'm like, fuck, damn it, like shit.
- 38:58SPEAKER_00: But no, like I mean, I don't mind it being used in like you know helpful ways, but it definitely needs to be regulated heavily.
- 39:07SPEAKER_00: Regulated, yeah, I agree with you.
- 39:09SPEAKER_00: I just don't want it in I just don't want it in everything.
- 39:11SPEAKER_00: It shouldn't be in everything.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: And I hate how much it's being pushed out.
- 39:15SPEAKER_00: No, I get it.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: Especially like in um drive-thrus.
- 39:18SPEAKER_02: Have you seen the I hate going up to Wendy's and they're like, Would you like to buy a booth blah blah blah to support things?
- 39:25SPEAKER_02: It's like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 39:29SPEAKER_02: It's like just let me give me my fucking sandwich.
- 39:33SPEAKER_00: I personally have not been anywhere with like the AI um drive-thru thing, but I've seen them, and the the quickest way to get them to shut it off.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you've seen burgers ten thousand ten thousand water cups, please, and then like uh I fucking I hate it, bro.
- 39:48SPEAKER_00: I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.
- 39:52SPEAKER_00: Um, do you got any other uh topics?
- 39:55SPEAKER_00: Did you bring?
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: I've got like one more, but I don't know if you'd really be interested in it.
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: Shoot.
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: Um I just I was I saw the backrooms this week.
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: I was a little I'm a little late to the party.
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: Um I don't know if you've seen it or was interested in it.
- 40:09SPEAKER_02: Okay, so I've seen the backrooms exclusively through TikTok clips, and it's ruined the movie for me, so I don't think I'm ever gonna watch it.
- 40:17unknown: Damn.
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: Did you are you familiar with it like before that?
- 40:20SPEAKER_02: Like any of the YouTube series.
- 40:23SPEAKER_02: So I remember this is gonna make me sound old.
- 40:26SPEAKER_02: I remember when the backrooms was just a uh Back in my day.
- 40:30SPEAKER_02: Back in my day on the little thing known as 4chan uh.
- 40:34SPEAKER_02: Uh no, it was just uh a text thing and it expanded from there.
- 40:37SPEAKER_02: It's really interesting to see like all this internet shit like be put into movies.
- 40:42SPEAKER_02: Uh especially with like backrooms, uh da da da.
- 40:46SPEAKER_02: I want to say there was another big one.
- 40:48SPEAKER_02: Uh like SCP.
- 40:50SPEAKER_02: I really was in a SCP when that was coming out.
- 40:53SPEAKER_02: And now they're doing more stuff with it, so it's cool to see.
- 40:56SPEAKER_02: And it's cool that like the backrooms was made by an internet creator, same with obsession, they're made by internet people.
- 41:04SPEAKER_00: Uh I didn't know that dude made horror movies until Obsession like Obsession came out.
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: Because I literally I've seen his TikTok sketches and I was like, I love this dude.
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: I'm like, no, I think I think they must have the same name and the internet's just like mixing them up.
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: I'm like, there's just no way.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, oh no, that's like his main thing.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: No, he just does TikTok on the side.
- 41:20SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what the fuck?
- 41:22SPEAKER_00: Well, wasn't it like Yeah, no, it is very interesting as long as it's like done well too.
- 41:27SPEAKER_00: That's like really important.
- 41:28SPEAKER_00: But I think it's good for I love movies.
- 41:31SPEAKER_02: I think it's really good for the movie industry to give all these like little people like stuff, but 'cause it's like more of a voice, because it's like I hate going to the movies, and then it's just like this is the same as this movie.
- 41:43SPEAKER_02: This is the same as you're just watching the same thing over and over again, and it gets boring.
- 41:47SPEAKER_02: Like who really yeah, I he's who really liked Jumanji too.
- 41:51SPEAKER_02: Like let's be real, no one watched that.
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: I didn't even think I watched Jum Oh like Jumanji the uh remake?
- 41:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: Sorry, I was looking something up.
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: Oh, I didn't even watch that shit, yeah.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, but like especially with how young this director is, he was like 20.
- 42:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, his film debut was at 20.
- 42:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: Who did the backrooms, which is just ridiculous.
- 42:16SPEAKER_00: And I think he Well First off, I've heard mixed things about the movie.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: I really enjoyed it.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: I mean, to be fair, I was like kind of drunk, but that I feel like that enhanced it.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: Um I think it was shot really well.
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: I love the shots they did.
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: I I think I get a lot of people's complaints about well, I don't really c agree with like the oh it was slow thing.
- 42:36SPEAKER_00: I'm like, well yeah, it's just a fucking thing.
- 42:37SPEAKER_00: Get a better attention span, dude.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, get a better get a better attention span.
- 42:42SPEAKER_00: Um and then I mean I would say like maybe I expect like more creatures or things to happen, but I feel like they're probably gonna make a sequel and like span on that more.
- 42:51SPEAKER_02: But from what I've done, I thought it was done really well, like uh from what I've seen, there's like a lot of stuff that they're like, oh, they didn't include this, this, and this, and it's like, yeah, because it's a movie, they're not gonna include everything, uh then it would just be like, Oh, look at that, look at that, and it would be lame, you know?
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: But uh I don't know.
- 43:13SPEAKER_00: I think it was shot really well.
- 43:15SPEAKER_00: I I was I was very s really scared going into it because of like I've heard a lot of mixed things about it, but I had a coworker who was like really adamant about how good it was, so Yeah.
- 43:25SPEAKER_00: I loved it.
- 43:25SPEAKER_00: I thought it was great, I thought the acting was amazing, and I literally made a joke about this in the movie.
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: I was like, man, this this like main actor is so good, and like he's so like he's he reminds me of those people, he's like he's probably like British or something, and then I saw an interview and he's literally fucking British.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: I'm like I don't know what it is about like certain British acts actors, but when they play like American Americans, like they just I don't I don't know, they do it better than like Americans do.
- 43:52SPEAKER_00: Me watching Spider Man and being like, Wow, Tom Holland sure is good, he's British.
- 43:56SPEAKER_00: What the f Yeah, I always forget about that one too, or like um I didn't even know until I finished Sons of Anarchy that Charlie Hunnam was British.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: And I still he still sounds like a a Cali boy faking a British accent to this day to me.
- 44:09SPEAKER_02: Well, that's like a uh Andrew Lincoln from The Walking Dead.
- 44:12SPEAKER_02: I'm just like, you're British?
- 44:15SPEAKER_00: Andrew Lincoln.
- 44:16SPEAKER_00: I've never I watched like the first episode of The Walking Dead.
- 44:18SPEAKER_00: I was like, I do not know.
- 44:19SPEAKER_00: You know Rick Grimes?
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 44:21SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's wait, he's British?
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 44:26SPEAKER_00: Oh, I just saw like the first photo on Google.
- 44:28SPEAKER_00: He looks British in that photo.
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: Because I was like listening to him do an interview about like one of those seasons, and I was just like, what?
- 44:35SPEAKER_02: Well, like that's a weird thing.
- 44:36SPEAKER_02: Why are you faking an accent?
- 44:38SPEAKER_00: Let's look up actors who you didn't know were British.
- 44:42SPEAKER_00: Uh Hugh Laurie?
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: I knew that one, but that one still pisses me off.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: I s I don't like that one.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: Henry Cavill.
- 44:52SPEAKER_00: Wait, I actually did not know that one.
- 44:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's British.
- 44:54SPEAKER_00: Maybe I just never like heard him talk.
- 44:57SPEAKER_00: I don't know, I feel like some of them maybe have like kind of washed out accents to where like I don't even like notice it.
- 45:03SPEAKER_00: Like Hugh Jackman.
- 45:04SPEAKER_00: A bit.
- 45:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:06SPEAKER_00: Wait, he's British too.
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: I thought Australian.
- 45:09SPEAKER_02: He's Australian, same as uh Dude who plays Thor.
- 45:14SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, that's right.
- 45:15SPEAKER_01: Let's see here.
- 45:16SPEAKER_00: Tom Holland.
- 45:16SPEAKER_00: Of course he's on the list.
- 45:19SPEAKER_00: Wait, what?
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: Sasha Cohen, the guy who played the city.
- 45:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, Sasha Barron Corrin.
- 45:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's British.
- 45:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:26SPEAKER_00: What the fuck?
- 45:27SPEAKER_00: Yep, there's Andrew Lincoln right there.
- 45:29SPEAKER_00: I don't know who that is.
- 45:31SPEAKER_00: Kit Harrington.
- 45:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we know Kit Harrington.
- 45:33SPEAKER_00: Kit Harrington's British.
- 45:36SPEAKER_00: A guy named Kit Harrington, whose first appearance in film was uh him doing a British voice.
- 45:43SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah.
- 45:45SPEAKER_00: Gary Oldman.
- 45:46SPEAKER_00: Who is this?
- 45:47SPEAKER_00: You don't know who Gary Oldman is?
- 45:49SPEAKER_00: I I think this picture's just like bad.
- 45:52SPEAKER_00: Who is this?
- 45:55SPEAKER_00: Who is this?
- 45:57SPEAKER_01: Gary Oldman?
- 45:59SPEAKER_01: He's like dude, a super famous actor.
- 46:01SPEAKER_01: What?
- 46:02SPEAKER_01: Wait, Robert Patterson?
- 46:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 46:07SPEAKER_00: Bro, what I just don't know anything.
- 46:09SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna look up Gary Oldman.
- 46:11SPEAKER_00: Since you're not elaborating on anything he's been in.
- 46:13SPEAKER_00: He was in Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy.
- 46:17SPEAKER_00: Tinker Taylor?
- 46:18SPEAKER_00: That sounds like some fucking British shit.
- 46:20SPEAKER_00: Tinker Ta yeah, I I started Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy.
- 46:24SPEAKER_00: It's a five It's a great film.
- 46:30SPEAKER_00: Oh, he's in the Dark Knight.
- 46:32SPEAKER_00: I the Dark Knight was my first midnight premiere.
- 46:35SPEAKER_00: My I think it was one of those scenarios where my um brother was going on like a date and he was like 15 and he like my mom made me uh go with him.
- 46:43SPEAKER_00: Made him take yeah, made made him take me and stuff and like it was cool.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: I don't know what the fuck's going on.
- 46:50SPEAKER_00: Like I didn't really like Batman that much.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: I've never been that big on Batman, so it was alright, but it was also like I feel like a lot seriouser and darker than I was expecting.
- 46:59SPEAKER_00: I was like, I don't get it.
- 47:01SPEAKER_00: Okay, I've s some of the that picture on that website just wasn't doing him justice.
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: I definitely like recognize him now, but yeah.
- 47:11SPEAKER_00: Oh wow.
- 47:12SPEAKER_00: I don't even know some of these people.
- 47:13SPEAKER_00: Wait, Andrew Garfield?
- 47:15unknown: Yeah.
- 47:16SPEAKER_00: Dude, how many is everybody just British?
- 47:18SPEAKER_02: So I actually fun fact, Andrew Garfield, Robert Pattinson, and the guy who played Charlie Cox, they used to be roommates.
- 47:26SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 47:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and then now they're all big superheroes.
- 47:29SPEAKER_02: It's really weird.
- 47:31SPEAKER_00: That is really weird.
- 47:32SPEAKER_00: Okay, most of these I know.
- 47:33SPEAKER_00: These are pretty Yeah, Ian McShane.
- 47:38SPEAKER_00: Ian McKellen's British?
- 47:41SPEAKER_00: Ian McKellen.
- 47:43SPEAKER_02: What?
- 47:46SPEAKER_02: Dude, Princess Diana was British?
- 47:48SPEAKER_02: That's so weird.
- 47:51SPEAKER_00: I don't know, my relationship with the British is very 50-50, because like sometimes I'm just like, yeah, great actors and stuff, and then sometimes I'll hear people talk and I'm like, I just can't help them like making fun of them.
- 48:03SPEAKER_00: You're just like, why do you talk so goofy?
- 48:05SPEAKER_00: What is this?
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: I love watch listening to some of their like underground rap though.
- 48:09SPEAKER_00: That shit is so fucking funny.
- 48:12SPEAKER_00: Oh like that drill rap.
- 48:16SPEAKER_00: Drill can be kinda cool sometimes, but it can definitely be like Yeah.
- 48:25SPEAKER_00: Uh you got anything you want to talk about?
- 48:28SPEAKER_00: I don't think I really have anything written down right now.
- 48:32SPEAKER_02: Uh so like being a grown-up's kinda hard, and every day I would suggest learning something.
- 48:39SPEAKER_02: I've gotten pretty good at working on my car, not really because I want to, but because it's like I can't make a car.
- 48:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you were telling me you felt like a big boy earlier because he changed a car battery.
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, changed the car battery, I changed the uh the the the the what is it called the radiator in it, and I was like, that's something I never thought I could do.
- 48:57SPEAKER_02: And then you know what I did?
- 48:58SPEAKER_02: I looked up a YouTube video and figured it out.
- 49:02SPEAKER_01: YouTube is how I've learned everything in my life, so I've only busted my knuckles twice, and I I'm fine with that.
- 49:11SPEAKER_00: I don't think I even know what a radiator looks like.
- 49:15SPEAKER_00: But that's just me being like not into that shit at all.
- 49:18SPEAKER_00: Like I can don't get me wrong, I can do basic car maintenance, you know, I can like change my oil, change a tire, but I would not get into that stuff.
- 49:25SPEAKER_00: I'll just pay someone to do that.
- 49:27SPEAKER_00: That's mostly just out of like laziness, though.
- 49:30SPEAKER_02: Well, like I get that, but sometimes it's like being lazy is gonna cost me$500.
- 49:35SPEAKER_02: I think I'm good.
- 49:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 49:39SPEAKER_02: That's fair.
- 49:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I it's so enticing, but at the same time, I'm like, what if I just break my car and I can never fix it again?
- 49:53SPEAKER_00: I think that's another part.
- 49:54SPEAKER_00: It's like either like laziness or like, oh that's like two hours, you know?
- 49:57SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't want to go do that, or like what if I just fuck it all up and I ruin it and then I can't get to work?
- 50:03SPEAKER_00: What if I accidentally below 20 fuses and then have to redo everything?
- 50:08SPEAKER_00: Because we're just we're just dudes.
- 50:10SPEAKER_00: I don't even know if anyone's gonna listen to this podcast, let alone like actually get any like monetization off of it.
- 50:15SPEAKER_00: Like, I gotta go to work tomorrow.
- 50:16SPEAKER_00: Like, I gotta start getting ready for bed soon.
- 50:19SPEAKER_00: I mean, like, yeah.
- 50:21SPEAKER_00: I'm off tomorrow.
- 50:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it must be nice.
- 50:25SPEAKER_00: Then again, I've been off the last few days, so fucking bum.
- 50:31SPEAKER_00: Bum?
- 50:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:33SPEAKER_00: You're a bum.
- 50:34SPEAKER_00: Not a bum.
- 50:35SPEAKER_00: Not a bum.
- 50:36SPEAKER_01: Why am I a bum for having three days off?
- 50:38SPEAKER_01: It's bum behavior.
- 50:40SPEAKER_01: What'd you do?
- 50:40SPEAKER_01: Go beg for quarters in those days?
- 50:44SPEAKER_02: No.
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: I went and ate some good food.
- 50:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: A lot of good food.
- 50:49SPEAKER_02: I saw that the last two days you just mean like, look at this nice food I'm eating, and I was like, I wanna go.
- 50:56SPEAKER_01: Do you know why I went?
- 50:58SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 50:59SPEAKER_01: Should I bring the podcast?
- 51:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, bring it up.
- 51:06SPEAKER_02: It was my birthday yesterday.
- 51:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know.
- 51:09SPEAKER_02: I forgot it.
- 51:10SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 51:10SPEAKER_02: I forgot to say anything because I was hella busy.
- 51:13SPEAKER_00: I didn't like care, but when you like text, like, man, you're eating really good today.
- 51:16SPEAKER_00: You sent me like that voice memo.
- 51:17SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yeah, no shit, bro.
- 51:19SPEAKER_00: Like Dude, I just forgot because I was busy as hell.
- 51:24SPEAKER_02: No, you're good.
- 51:25SPEAKER_02: I we're old enough to where I was like, I don't fucking care.
- 51:28SPEAKER_02: Like, well, no, because it's it's not even I forgot your birthday, is I didn't know what day it was.
- 51:33SPEAKER_02: I was like, oh, today's like the 22nd or some shit.
- 51:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no.
- 51:38SPEAKER_00: That's it stinks up on me.
- 51:39SPEAKER_00: I can't even I don't even know what day of the week it is half the time.
- 51:42SPEAKER_00: Like, I know like what days I work.
- 51:43SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh yeah, this is work day number three or whatever.
- 51:46SPEAKER_00: Like, but I don't people be like, man, it's so busy today, and I'm like, yeah, I guess.
- 51:51SPEAKER_00: I'm like, why is it busy?
- 51:52SPEAKER_00: And like it's Sunday.
- 51:53SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh I thought it was fucking Wednesday.
- 51:58SPEAKER_02: That's me at my job, because I'm always just like uh man, I wonder why it's so dead today, and it's like, oh, there's the there's a game on, no one's gonna come out and fucking go get food real quick.
- 52:08SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, I can't keep up with that shit ever.
- 52:10SPEAKER_00: Every time like the Super Bowl happens and like, you know, early day it's like super busy and it's like dead.
- 52:15SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what the fuck is going on?
- 52:17SPEAKER_00: Like the Super Bowl.
- 52:18SPEAKER_02: Why did someone buy all their chicken wings and then they just stop coming in?
- 52:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 52:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 52:25SPEAKER_00: But no, yeah, I'm I'm old now, but not too worried about it.
- 52:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, for God's sake, like only one of my three siblings even said anything either.
- 52:33SPEAKER_00: So I was just like, I mean what we're at that age we're like Let me guess, let me guess.
- 52:37SPEAKER_02: The oldest girl once said something.
- 52:40SPEAKER_00: You actually are surprised it was the oldest male, was the only one who is normally the least likely.
- 52:46SPEAKER_00: I was about to say, like, you don't even talk to him.
- 52:49SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 52:52SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 52:53SPEAKER_00: That was that was funny, but nah, it's fine because I was busy the whole day.
- 52:56SPEAKER_00: We went like we got good old Texas barbecue, um, a place you showed me a long time ago.
- 53:04SPEAKER_00: Spent like two hondo bucks there.
- 53:06SPEAKER_00: Notice you didn't get the Twinkie.
- 53:08SPEAKER_00: I didn't like the Twinkie, bro.
- 53:10SPEAKER_00: I don't want no Texas Twinkie.
- 53:12SPEAKER_00: First off, it sounds gay.
- 53:14SPEAKER_00: I'm just kidding, but but I don't know.
- 53:17SPEAKER_00: I just don't like I mean I like jalapenos, I guess.
- 53:20SPEAKER_00: That sounds like someone's only fan, so they call me the Texas Twinkie.
- 53:24SPEAKER_00: You explain what a Texas Twinkie is for the non-Texans out there.
- 53:28SPEAKER_02: No, it's this really delicious thing.
- 53:30SPEAKER_02: It's a jalapeno.
- 53:31SPEAKER_02: They stuff it with brisket and cream cheese and then wrap it in bacon.
- 53:35SPEAKER_02: So delicious, so good.
- 53:36SPEAKER_02: It's$20, and that's that's that's the only problem.
- 53:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 53:41SPEAKER_00: I saw you got the And probably like 1300 calories by itself.
- 53:45SPEAKER_02: I saw you got the big old rib, though.
- 53:47SPEAKER_00: I did get the beef rib, and then I just had it for dinner.
- 53:50SPEAKER_00: Editor, put the big ol' rib on screen.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: I don't have a picture of the rib.
- 53:54SPEAKER_00: Oh wait, no, I did take a picture of the rib.
- 53:56SPEAKER_00: I'm the editor.
- 53:57SPEAKER_00: Fuck you.
- 53:57SPEAKER_00: I don't want to go put extra fucking shit on the screen.
- 54:00SPEAKER_00: Now I gotta go do that.
- 54:02SPEAKER_00: Editor, turn me into Mickey Mouse.
- 54:04SPEAKER_00: I'm not doing shit.
- 54:05SPEAKER_00: I'm getting rid of your game and I'm turning your mic off.
- 54:14SPEAKER_00: Just that person.
- 54:15SPEAKER_00: For like a split second I forgot you were doing a bit, and I was like, oh shit, the audio went out.
- 54:19SPEAKER_00: My bad.
- 54:21SPEAKER_00: No, I don't the Texas Twinkie though, I just don't like cream cheese.
- 54:25SPEAKER_00: Like I really don't, and then like I only like jalapenos, like I don't know.
- 54:30SPEAKER_00: Very sparingly.
- 54:32SPEAKER_00: It's just not something I like, but I did get uh like a$70 beef rib, which was probably the most expensive thing, some good old brisket.
- 54:41SPEAKER_00: And then after Texas barbecue, I got Korean barbecue for dinner.
- 54:45SPEAKER_00: I'm surprised you got both.
- 54:47SPEAKER_02: I would have been full off one.
- 54:49SPEAKER_00: Well, they were hours and hours apart, to be fair.
- 54:52SPEAKER_00: But I also didn't eat a whole lot for the first meal because I knew I was gonna be walking around all day, because we went to like the aquarium and stuff in the t in the city.
- 55:01SPEAKER_00: And uh yeah, and I I was like, I didn't really think it through though.
- 55:06SPEAKER_00: I was like fighting sleepiness all day because it was just like barbecue, barbecue, barbecue, and then I was like, oh let's go out drinking and stuff, and then like that's the other thing with being old.
- 55:16SPEAKER_00: It was like 10 o'clock, and I'm like, I am this is this is beyond my limit.
- 55:19SPEAKER_00: Like, I need to go home like right now.
- 55:21SPEAKER_00: Like no more of the day, staying up till two in the morning and then getting tacos after the bars.
- 55:26SPEAKER_00: No.
- 55:26SPEAKER_00: You know what's crazy is I I mean I go to bed about I don't know, like 9 30 ish on average most of the time.
- 55:33SPEAKER_00: Like I'll stay up a little bit, like on the the night before a day off, but um at my undisclosed retail store, I was a manager up until recently.
- 55:44SPEAKER_00: And like sometimes you just have to like do like wacky ash shifts and like work like an evening shift.
- 55:49SPEAKER_00: I don't get off till like 10 p.m.
- 55:50SPEAKER_00: which I'm not used to.
- 55:52SPEAKER_00: And I would get off, I'm like, you know what?
- 55:54SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm gonna work tomorrow.
- 55:56SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna stay up like I used to when I was young and stuff.
- 55:59SPEAKER_00: And I get like a fucking soda, like a bag of like Takis.
- 56:02SPEAKER_00: And it's like, I don't know, it's like 11 o'clock at night.
- 56:05SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I'm gonna stay up till like at least two, maybe three.
- 56:07SPEAKER_00: I'm like an hour into gaming, like it's like midnight, maybe 12 30, and I'm just like, I don't even want to play this game anymore.
- 56:14SPEAKER_00: I'm just like I get a like pouty and like grumpy, I get turned in like a like a whiny kid.
- 56:19SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't wanna do this.
- 56:20SPEAKER_00: This sucks.
- 56:21SPEAKER_02: Like no dude, that was me recently, because I was like, I'm gonna stay up and watch a movie.
- 56:25SPEAKER_02: Fuck, and I put on Project Hail Mary, and I fell asleep halfway through and then woke up at the ending and it was like, I don't get this movie.
- 56:32SPEAKER_02: What happened?
- 56:34SPEAKER_00: Well, you just go like leave a bad review and be like, I fell asleep, one star.
- 56:41SPEAKER_00: But no, we just like I can't do things like I used to, bro.
- 56:44SPEAKER_00: I can't hang, bruh.
- 56:46SPEAKER_00: Can't hang.
- 56:47SPEAKER_00: I can't do it.
- 56:48SPEAKER_00: And I look at like I look at the youngins out there and they're just like full of energy.
- 56:52SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I I kinda miss it, but I'm just like, I don't understand how y'all do this, man.
- 56:57SPEAKER_00: Especially like the the kids at my work that like go to school all day and then come to work.
- 57:02SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, how do y'all how do y'all do that?
- 57:04SPEAKER_00: And they're just like full of energy.
- 57:06SPEAKER_00: Just I guess full of life.
- 57:08SPEAKER_02: Dude, me getting off from high school to go work at my job until fucking midnight, and I'm just like, how did I do that?
- 57:16SPEAKER_00: Half the time it was like illegal, and you shouldn't have been working that late.
- 57:19SPEAKER_00: No, like literally.
- 57:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like that happens so much.
- 57:23SPEAKER_00: Not to me, but to people I knew.
- 57:25SPEAKER_02: Dude, I just remember my first job when I was 60, and I was working super illegal hours and so happy for my$400 check.
- 57:33SPEAKER_02: And I was just like, let's go.
- 57:36SPEAKER_00: I remember first a fast food job that we used to work at, and um I don't think we worked overnight, you and me.
- 57:44SPEAKER_00: This is when you were uh living with me because we used to be best roommate uh roommates, best friends, and we loved every second of it, and it was awesome the whole time, and we definitely didn't want to kill each other.
- 57:54SPEAKER_00: But uh but we're we worked overnight at this fast food joint.
- 57:59SPEAKER_00: I don't know if we should name it since we don't work there anymore.
- 58:02SPEAKER_00: Maybe not just in case we get like a sponsor.
- 58:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 58:05SPEAKER_00: Because I I don't care about how much I shit talk it.
- 58:08SPEAKER_00: I'll turn around if they want to give me money, I'll be like, hell yeah, bro, buy this product.
- 58:11SPEAKER_00: Go try their new burger right now.
- 58:14SPEAKER_00: Anyway.
- 58:15SPEAKER_00: Stop your face.
- 58:16SPEAKER_00: Um we worked the overnight shift at this fast food place.
- 58:20SPEAKER_00: It was like the only place that was even open 24 hours in our town, but it was um uh it was a slower night because I usually worked mainly like the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, the slow nights.
- 58:31SPEAKER_00: It was just me a cook and then this like new girl that was in like high school, and then I geniusly decided to put my hand in the fryer um for fun, you know.
- 58:43SPEAKER_00: No, I had like dropped something in there and I instinctively like reached down to grab it like a fucking idiot, and like I literally burned my hand.
- 58:50SPEAKER_00: I don't know how it wasn't worse.
- 58:51SPEAKER_00: I didn't get any blisters, but it hurt like a motherfucker, and I was like, I don't know what to do.
- 58:55SPEAKER_00: Like this hurts really bad.
- 58:56SPEAKER_00: This is like at the start of the night.
- 58:58SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I don't know what to do.
- 58:59SPEAKER_00: Like I think I need to go home.
- 59:01SPEAKER_00: And then like they just I called my boss and they literally I don't even know why this girl was willing, but like they literally made this like 17-year-old girl work the overnight shift.
- 59:11SPEAKER_00: Like, I didn't know.
- 59:12SPEAKER_00: Do you remember that?
- 59:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I remember that.
- 59:14SPEAKER_00: Like, I was more surprised that she was willing to do it, but I was also like, that's really illegal.
- 59:19SPEAKER_00: I think my boss should come up here and cover, like, like what do you mean?
- 59:23SPEAKER_00: She's like 16, 17, like I think it was during summer, so she didn't have school, but it's still like that's I don't think she's supposed to be here past 10 right now.
- 59:32SPEAKER_00: And you're like actually, can you stay till seven and I don't know.
- 59:36SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 59:37SPEAKER_00: I I think like every just about every fast food place probably abuses those labor laws.
- 59:43SPEAKER_02: The thing I hated most about working there was working the overnight shift and having that turn into the morning shift because the person who was supposed to take over was always an hour late.
- 59:52SPEAKER_02: And it's just like it's like I had to drop off my kids, and it's like I don't care, I want to go home.
- 59:59SPEAKER_00: That person actually is still there to this day, by the way.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I bet.
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're the manager now.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_00: Um, are they still on time?
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_00: I don't know, but they're nice to me whenever I go there, but yeah.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_00: Good times, bad times, I don't know.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_00: I'm sure we should definitely get into some stories from there at some point because we got a few next episode is gonna be called the Work Stories episode where we just talk shit about every place we've ever worked in.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's a great idea.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_00: Especially I've been working at the same one for a while now, so I might have to leave out a few of those.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_00: But that's fair.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_00: You wanna you wanna call it their world?
- 1:00:39SPEAKER_00: Look at that, we're right at the hour mark.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, let's call it there.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_02: Um so I mentioned earlier I clicked Pokemon cards.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_02: Here's my Pokemon card of the week.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_02: I just pulled this.
- 1:00:48SPEAKER_02: Wow, buddy, that's really nice.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it's sitting at$90.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_02: I hope it goes up so I can sell it.
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_00: I want to get into Pokemon cards.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_00: It seems fun, but I don't know even though where to start, and I also don't want to sync a bunch of money into it.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_02: I've synced a little bit of money into, but not something crazy.
- 1:01:05SPEAKER_02: I have some cool stuff.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_02: Uh the Celebi from the movie.
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_02: I think that's pretty cool.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_00: For the audio listeners, he's showing me a Pokemon card of Celebi.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_00: From from from the movie, dude.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_00: I also just realized what hat you're wearing too.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, let's go.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_00: Gotta represent wearing, for people who aren't watching on YouTube, he's wearing a beanie that says beanie across the top of it.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_00: I remember going with you one day to get that.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_00: Wait, you also you still have the hat hat?
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_00: Uh okay, so I wore that so I wear that so much hat across it.
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_02: And it has a big sweat mark, and I just threw it away because I was like, I'm not washing this.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_00: I'm surprised you still have that.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_00: This is the second one.
- 1:01:58SPEAKER_00: I lost the first one.
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, really?
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_00: You went and got another one, man?
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_00: You fucking looser.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_00: Just dust on my swag, dude.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 1:02:10SPEAKER_00: I guess we'll call it there.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_00: I'm surprised it like went that long.
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_00: It also felt like longer at the same time.
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_00: I haven't done this in forever.
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_00: Then uh I've been Lorenzo.
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_00: Um, if you He has been Lorenzo, and he no longer will be.
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_01: Tomorrow, I'm next time I was Eli.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_01: Next time I'll be Eli, he'll be Lorenzo.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_00: Uh yeah.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_00: Uh if you did listen, thank you.
- 1:02:34SPEAKER_00: I don't know why you're listening, and if you're not, then good idea.
- 1:02:39SPEAKER_00: Good on you.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_00: But um, yeah, I don't really know.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_00: I didn't really like plan how we were gonna outro this.
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_00: Do you want to do the outro since I did the intro?
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_02: Uh thank you for listening to Uncast.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_02: Uh, we've been sponsored by G Fuel.
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_02: Use code UNC for 0% off.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_02: Uh Yep.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_01: And yeah, that's been us.
- 1:02:59SPEAKER_01: Bye.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_00: And then I just leave like 15 seconds of silence.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_00: I'll cut it right there.
