- 0:00Speaker 1: The Force will be with you always. Hello everybody, and
- 0:20Speaker 1: welcome back to another episode of a Star Wars Alliance.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Of course, I'm your host, Clay, and with me like always.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Is Katie Stress the death, Katie. We're gonna make it. Though,
- 0:36Speaker 2: We're gonna make it.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I get I told you we weren't going to talk
- 0:39Speaker 1: about it. We're going to just get your mind off
- 0:41Speaker 1: of it. Okay, I know tomorrow Margarita sound really good.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Actually I'm not going, but but today we're gonna be
- 0:52Speaker 1: talking Almando actually, which is kind of crazy. The news
- 0:57Speaker 1: that hit us, uh this morning or was it yesterday?
- 1:01Speaker 1: I can't even remember anymore.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Yeah, the past three days have been so chaotic. I
- 1:07Speaker 2: don't know anything.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Uh it was it was today. It was this morning
- 1:12Speaker 1: when we got the news uh that hit us. We
- 1:17Speaker 1: we uh well, the Disney upfronts or the Disney Plus
- 1:22Speaker 1: whatever you want to call it, that is that was
- 1:27Speaker 1: uh yesterday, And I don't know if there's any more
- 1:31Speaker 1: information coming from that at all this week. But all
- 1:35Speaker 1: of the Disney Plus stuff for Marvel Star Wars, all
- 1:38Speaker 1: that stuff, uh is now out, and so we're gonna
- 1:42Speaker 1: talk a little bit about Ahsoka a little bit about
- 1:46Speaker 1: the man Doovers, and uh, we're gonna talk our coloring
- 1:52Speaker 1: books because we have a coloring page that we are
- 1:55Speaker 1: going to show off because we got this to us
- 2:00Speaker 1: and we were really really excited to do that, So
- 2:02Speaker 1: we're gonna show those off. And then of course our
- 2:05Speaker 1: main topic for today is the retro review for Mendo
- 2:12Speaker 1: season three.
- 2:15Speaker 2: So so this is my picture that I colored the
- 2:20Speaker 2: first page.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Okay, so I was really contemplating doing one with Mando.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I told you that I was really interested, and it's
- 2:35Speaker 1: only half done. I was really interested in trying this
- 2:39Speaker 1: challenge that I saw online with color pencils.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Yeah, where you do it with only a couple.
- 2:45Speaker 1: With only doing red, yellow and blue. Yeah. And so
- 2:55Speaker 1: I think I did pretty good on the brown and
- 2:56Speaker 1: actually and actually really good with grogu here.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I just need to do more of the yellow on
- 3:04Speaker 1: the other half, because again I'm not completely done, and
- 3:07Speaker 1: like I felt like I was ruining it. So I'm like,
- 3:10Speaker 1: you know what, I'm just gonna move to a different page.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And I legit only got one thing done before Amberlyn
- 3:18Speaker 1: wanted to play with me, So I legit just colored
- 3:21Speaker 1: grogose head. Yeah.
- 3:23Speaker 2: See, I had so I had this gel pin set
- 3:26Speaker 2: which is like twelve twelve pens, okay, and they don't
- 3:30Speaker 2: blend very well together. So I did this first one
- 3:34Speaker 2: and I chose to color Amanda. I'm also a big
- 3:38Speaker 2: proponent of go in order, which is why I did
- 3:40Speaker 2: the first page. Okay, so, but there's no Grogu in
- 3:45Speaker 2: this one, and there would have been a ton of
- 3:47Speaker 2: brown and I only had one brown. So I was like, okay,
- 3:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna color his cloak green to kind of give
- 3:53Speaker 2: a Grogu vibe. Okay, yeah, yeah, but this is from
- 3:58Speaker 2: season one. And then I was like, okay, I need
- 4:00Speaker 2: one with Grogu. But again, going in the like order,
- 4:04Speaker 2: I wasn't gonna get there. So I decided to go
- 4:05Speaker 2: to the very last page in the book, where I
- 4:08Speaker 2: got about halfway done.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Oh the promo post, yeah, very nice.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah. So I got his armor done and I got Grogu.
- 4:19Speaker 2: I did have two greens, you can't really tell from here,
- 4:22Speaker 2: so I was able to give him like a little
- 4:24Speaker 2: bit of texture on his face. Ye.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 2: So I I do really enjoy the quality of the
- 4:30Speaker 2: pages because I know with some coloring books that I've used,
- 4:35Speaker 2: especially with gelpins, it doesn't really. Gelpins aren't super conducive
- 4:40Speaker 2: to a color like certain coloring books because they can
- 4:44Speaker 2: super bleed through or they can really warp the page.
- 4:48Speaker 2: That doesn't happen with this book. The page the paper
- 4:53Speaker 2: quality is very very nice.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Yeah. No, Like I'm even like looking at the one
- 4:59Speaker 1: page that I did with color pencils to kind of
- 5:01Speaker 1: see if there's any type of like bleed through at all,
- 5:06Speaker 1: and there's nothing like I could see. Like I kind
- 5:12Speaker 1: of want to test maybe on like the last page
- 5:15Speaker 1: to see if, like I was gonna do like marker,
- 5:20Speaker 1: see if that did any type of bleed through. But yeah,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I actually really like all of the pages, like even
- 5:29Speaker 1: some of these fun ones in the back here. I
- 5:32Speaker 1: think these are really really fun. And guys talking about
- 5:37Speaker 1: you know, if you are stressed, coloring is a really
- 5:42Speaker 1: good stress reliever. You just kind of let go of everything,
- 5:45Speaker 1: put some music on and just color. That's all you
- 5:48Speaker 1: gotta do.
- 5:49Speaker 2: So it is, but you know what, it's not super
- 5:53Speaker 2: conducive to having a neck problem because I kept having
- 5:55Speaker 2: to take breaks.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yeah, because yeah, yeah, currently because that's something we didn't share.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I almost threw out my back yesterday, and uh, I
- 6:08Speaker 1: feel like, if I was coloring while in the state
- 6:13Speaker 1: that I'm in currently, it would just put more stress
- 6:16Speaker 1: on my back. So just gotta you know, guys, we're
- 6:20Speaker 1: getting older, our bodies are not agreeing with the positions
- 6:24Speaker 1: that we're sitting and moving in apparently, So yeah, it
- 6:29Speaker 1: just happens. It just happens. But Katie, I sent you
- 6:34Speaker 1: well first, yesterday I sent you a really funny picture
- 6:36Speaker 1: about the Star Wars timeline. But then I sent you
- 6:41Speaker 1: a screenshot today from Star Wars Holocron stating a big
- 6:52Speaker 1: crossover film between Mandalorian and Ahsoka has reportedly been scrapped.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Which mean Dave filon he's not getting the air to
- 7:01Speaker 2: the Empire movie. I would bet money on that that
- 7:04Speaker 2: that's the movie.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Oh and my thing is one thing that me and
- 7:12Speaker 1: Travis and Chris were talking about over in the guchat
- 7:17Speaker 1: on Twitter. Was my first reaction being I am really
- 7:25Speaker 1: surprised that they didn't just say, Hey, this is going
- 7:30Speaker 1: to Disney Plus, because that was what we had heard
- 7:34Speaker 1: was going to be the alternative and it seems that, like, hey,
- 7:44Speaker 1: projections on this movie are not looking the way that
- 7:47Speaker 1: we had hoped. Yeah, and so we're moving on.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Which isn't a big deal, and to like, I don't
- 7:58Speaker 2: know if there was a news article because I'm looking
- 8:00Speaker 2: on Star Wars News and I don't see a news
- 8:02Speaker 2: article for it. So I would assume that that just
- 8:06Speaker 2: means that the movie's canceled, that they're probably still keeping
- 8:09Speaker 2: the story in their back pocket to go, okay, maybe
- 8:12Speaker 2: we do rework this for Disney plus.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Oh rewind I'm going to the original post and it's deleted.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Did we did we hall a chrome?
- 8:27Speaker 2: You know better?
- 8:29Speaker 1: Did we report on something that let me see, let
- 8:33Speaker 1: me see? Uh no, there's there's hold on. Where did
- 8:42Speaker 1: it go they? Because see, I would assume like, oh, okay,
- 8:48Speaker 1: they're just making a new more like informed uh tweet
- 8:56Speaker 1: about it and it's not here. I'm gonna go ahead
- 8:58Speaker 1: and search for it really quick. But one thing I
- 9:03Speaker 1: wanted to talk to you about was like, do you
- 9:07Speaker 1: think this has anything to do with the other screenshot
- 9:09Speaker 1: that I sent you with Ahsoka now being moved to
- 9:14Speaker 1: twenty twenty seven?
- 9:17Speaker 2: I really don't know. I think there's a lot of
- 9:19Speaker 2: stuff up in the air, and I feel like it's
- 9:23Speaker 2: they've just gone okay, Felony's got different priorities he doesn't
- 9:26Speaker 2: have the time to direct a full movie kind of thing,
- 9:29Speaker 2: so maybe I don't know. It does bumm me out
- 9:35Speaker 2: that Ahsoka's moving to twenty twenty seven. Obviously I want
- 9:38Speaker 2: them to take their time with stuff. But again, you're
- 9:43Speaker 2: the age old problem of you have an eight episode
- 9:46Speaker 2: season and you want people attached to these characters, and
- 9:48Speaker 2: you want people waiting for it to come back, and
- 9:51Speaker 2: you were leaving people hanging, and people are no longer
- 9:53Speaker 2: interested at the end of the day. This is what
- 9:55Speaker 2: it's boiling down to.
- 9:59Speaker 3: I got the four article right here, okay, oh yeah,
- 10:02Speaker 3: it was a Forbes article.
- 10:05Speaker 1: It's not clear if Ahsoka season three is supposed to
- 10:08Speaker 1: arrive at some point in the future, but a reported
- 10:12Speaker 1: big crossover film between the Mandalorian and Ahsoka, which take
- 10:15Speaker 1: place in the same time period, was reportedly thrown on
- 10:18Speaker 1: the back burner. Not yeah, not necessarily canceled, yeah, but
- 10:30Speaker 1: throw on the back burner. But let's be honest, how
- 10:33Speaker 1: many things over at Lucasfilm are over on the back burner?
- 10:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and you figure that this is the one movie
- 10:39Speaker 2: that people were like, oh, it's Felony's movie, It's gonna
- 10:41Speaker 2: get made. It doesn't bug me because obviously everybody knows
- 10:48Speaker 2: how much I care about the Air of the Empire
- 10:50Speaker 2: storyline and how many issues that IVE had with Ron
- 10:56Speaker 2: in Ahsoka season one.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Uh, very true, Travis said, Oh, even if it is canceled,
- 11:07Speaker 1: there is always the chance that later down the line.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Filoni says, Hey, the story continues air to the Empire
- 11:18Speaker 1: animated edition, you know, which I think is simple enough.
- 11:25Speaker 1: My Like, I felt like an exclamation point emoji hit
- 11:33Speaker 1: my head as soon as all of this came about,
- 11:35Speaker 1: and I was like, we're getting out of the sandbox.
- 11:40Speaker 2: I mean, that's the hope, right because like fab like
- 11:47Speaker 2: obviously Mandalorian is on the press circuit right now, so
- 11:51Speaker 2: we're gonna be hearing a lot of different things about
- 11:53Speaker 2: Mandelorian stuff. So like we've heard like, oh, a crossover
- 11:58Speaker 2: in Mandalorian season four, what if you Ohsoka? And so
- 12:02Speaker 2: now that's off the table. Like we're hearing a lot
- 12:04Speaker 2: of stuff, and I really can't wait to hear what
- 12:08Speaker 2: happens after the press cycle, Like I feel like we'll
- 12:11Speaker 2: get a lot better information and really get things nero
- 12:15Speaker 2: down to what's actually happening and stuff. So, especially with
- 12:20Speaker 2: it being Feloni and Brennan's first year. It doesn't surprise me.
- 12:27Speaker 1: So yeah, we got some chatters over here at YouTube. Again,
- 12:33Speaker 1: Kevin says, Hollywood trade just rooting for the film to
- 12:36Speaker 1: fail at the box office box office, trying to hype
- 12:39Speaker 1: up Ryan Goslin Starfighter to win back the fan base.
- 12:42Speaker 1: The Mandalorian Grogu doesn't have to make a billion dollars
- 12:45Speaker 1: at the box office. We've talked about this. There is
- 12:48Speaker 1: movies that just need like it's okay to just be
- 12:51Speaker 1: okay yep. And we talked about this, I think not
- 12:55Speaker 1: last week, maybe even the week before last that when
- 13:01Speaker 1: comparing it to like the same level of like hype
- 13:07Speaker 1: of the most recent superhero movies, we compared it for
- 13:10Speaker 1: Fantastic Four, and we compared it to Superman.
- 13:13Speaker 2: It is probably more average.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Yes, when it comes to fan base. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I think we had kind of made the like point
- 13:27Speaker 1: of like, if this movie can make seven hundred thousand,
- 13:34Speaker 1: it's or seven hundred million, sorry, not seven hundred thousand.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I think it seven hundred million. I think it's safe.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I think that is a hey you did good kid,
- 13:47Speaker 1: you know type of ordeal. Now, granted, I think that
- 13:52Speaker 1: when it comes to the Suits, they see what Mando
- 13:57Speaker 1: was in season one and they want to hold on
- 14:01Speaker 1: to that lightning in a bottle. And that's why, you know,
- 14:06Speaker 1: you will constantly continuously see the Grogu merch always and forever.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so I think the suits will think, oh,
- 14:19Speaker 1: seven hundred million is a failure. I don't see that whatsoever.
- 14:23Speaker 2: No, yeah, especially with the merch sales. Like you said,
- 14:27Speaker 2: so hello, Greg.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Greg is also in the chat saying, can we get
- 14:32Speaker 1: more if this rebels characters live action? Of this rebels
- 14:37Speaker 1: characters in the live action in the future. I think
- 14:40Speaker 1: we will to a point again with Ahsoka season two
- 14:47Speaker 1: coming out next year this now possible canceled event movie
- 14:53Speaker 1: for the Mando verse. Again, I think there's always the
- 14:58Speaker 1: possibility of, you know, doing some sort of other spin
- 15:04Speaker 1: off just to kind of keep it alive. We need
- 15:07Speaker 1: to remember this is Dave's baby, and so I think
- 15:12Speaker 1: he will fight tooth and nail to keep it alive
- 15:15Speaker 1: in any aspect that he can.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I definitely love the rebels characters that we
- 15:24Speaker 2: have gotten in live action to transition it. I just
- 15:31Speaker 2: I wish that Feloney was a better writer.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Kevin says Josh and Dana. Of course, the two new
- 15:42Speaker 1: heads over at Disney. Well green light Dave Feloni's film,
- 15:45Speaker 1: even if it has to go to Disney Plus. Well, again,
- 15:47Speaker 1: that's what we had discussed prior, because that was the
- 15:50Speaker 1: said rumor. Now, according to this Forbes article, it's saying
- 15:54Speaker 1: that it's completely onto the back burner. We don't know
- 15:59Speaker 1: if Disney Plus is even in the conversation anymore.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Yeah, Greg says, I think the Mando verse needs to
- 16:08Speaker 2: ditch Groger. He has the least interesting character of the series.
- 16:10Speaker 2: To me, I you, I could see that argument. Birch reasons,
- 16:16Speaker 2: it's never gonna happen.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's the same reason why uh you know,
- 16:23Speaker 1: even look at a franchise like Pokemon. Pokemon has moved
- 16:27Speaker 1: away from the main character of actually Cashum and Pikachu.
- 16:32Speaker 1: But guess what, the new series still has a Pikachu
- 16:36Speaker 1: in the main roster of main characters. Yeah, so it's
- 16:41Speaker 1: it's just because of marketing. It's because of the sales
- 16:44Speaker 1: and the IP as a whole. If we get another
- 16:50Speaker 1: Babysue character in the future, Grogu will still be there,
- 16:58Speaker 1: but that highlight will now be the new care aracter.
- 17:00Speaker 1: You know, it's just it's just the way.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Yeah. Also ask I can't share it, Greg because I'm
- 17:07Speaker 2: not locked into stream Yard.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Zeb is in the new movie, isn't he? Yes?
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yes, And I think that was supposed to be the
- 17:15Speaker 2: transitional points to get to that Ahsoka crossover, like, oh hey,
- 17:21Speaker 2: zeb knows Mando, we can have this party like work along.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Well, I I we will discuss it more next week, guys,
- 17:31Speaker 1: when we do our predictions, but I will give a
- 17:35Speaker 1: small little tease as to my predictions here. I think
- 17:39Speaker 1: Mando and Grogu will be our first post credit scene
- 17:45Speaker 1: for Star Wars. I think and will have a post
- 17:50Speaker 1: credit scene. That's I think they will, I would agree.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Excuse me, sorry, but yeah, I think that's basically it
- 18:02Speaker 1: for the news. Nothing else really came out the of
- 18:06Speaker 1: the upfronts for Disney and Star Wars.
- 18:09Speaker 2: So, guys, with Ahsoka moving to twenty twenty seven, that
- 18:17Speaker 2: that means that the only other thing we can really
- 18:19Speaker 2: expect on Disney Plus for the remainder of the year
- 18:22Speaker 2: is supposed to be that ninth Jedi series. We still
- 18:25Speaker 2: have plenty of books coming out if you're interested in
- 18:27Speaker 2: our book reviews. That is going to be more July, August,
- 18:31Speaker 2: September is what it's looking like. So but yeah, and
- 18:36Speaker 2: Greg asked, are you the review next week? We are,
- 18:40Speaker 2: in fact doing your review next week. We are going
- 18:42Speaker 2: to be live here on the geek Versus YouTube channel
- 18:44Speaker 2: at eight Eastern seriing your time, which is not typically
- 18:49Speaker 2: of when the GUA does their movie reviews. But both
- 18:52Speaker 2: Clay and I have young kids and early bed times.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yeah, very much.
- 18:58Speaker 2: So well, we pushed it back a little bit, but
- 19:02Speaker 2: not too too much.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Just yeah, Greg is saying Thursday or Friday. Yeah, We're
- 19:08Speaker 1: gonna do the review Friday night. I'm going to be
- 19:11Speaker 1: watching Thursday at three. I got an early viewing yea,
- 19:17Speaker 1: and I think Katie, you got yours at like seven.
- 19:19Speaker 2: On Thursday, we could not get We could not get
- 19:21Speaker 2: a babysitter until six thirty, and the next showing was
- 19:24Speaker 2: not until eight fifteen.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I've kissed. I might depending on how things go next week,
- 19:36Speaker 1: I might be able to view it a second time
- 19:41Speaker 1: before our review. But on Wednesday, on our regular scheduled
- 19:49Speaker 1: showtime here on YouTube, we will be doing predictions. We
- 19:54Speaker 1: will do predictions for box Office, We'll do predictions for
- 19:57Speaker 1: the actual movie and then we will do our actual
- 20:01Speaker 1: review on Friday.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Yeah, so that is what you guys can expect. And then,
- 20:07Speaker 2: of course we said this last week, but the following week,
- 20:12Speaker 2: we're gonna be off that week. So that will end
- 20:17Speaker 2: May for us is that movie review. But Clay and
- 20:20Speaker 2: I are recording three podcast episodes next week. We've got
- 20:23Speaker 2: a Patreon, the productions and the movie review, so we're
- 20:28Speaker 2: gonna give ourselves a little bit of a breather. Yeah,
- 20:30Speaker 2: the book, No, he does not.
- 20:34Speaker 1: No, I have not. Yeah, so I plan on starting
- 20:39Speaker 1: that book Friday. That's when I was able to push
- 20:44Speaker 1: it into my schedule. And yeah, we well, actually, no,
- 20:53Speaker 1: I have to start it tomorrow because we're doing it
- 20:55Speaker 1: on Tuesday. On Tuesday, Yeah, oh maybe I could start
- 21:00Speaker 1: finding No, i'm gonna start Thursday. No, I'm gonna do Thursday.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna do Thursday. Give me some more time. I
- 21:06Speaker 1: just I need to actually write it down now, so
- 21:10Speaker 1: commit commit.
- 21:13Speaker 2: But yeah, I started, but we all know how fast
- 21:16Speaker 2: I read.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Exactly like I could somewhat use my superpower, but it
- 21:23Speaker 1: drains a lot out, so I I try to use
- 21:27Speaker 1: my my powers sparingly. But yeah, we we will be
- 21:32Speaker 1: doing a lot of recording time next week. Uh so
- 21:37Speaker 1: we're gonna take a little break, and then after that
- 21:42Speaker 1: break we we have like all the way. I think, well,
- 21:47Speaker 1: actually we have the next three months planned or so. Yeah,
- 21:52Speaker 1: uh so we I think we're good. I think we're
- 21:56Speaker 1: good for content. We still have to do a little
- 21:58Speaker 1: bit more planning for the end of the year. I
- 22:01Speaker 1: do know that, but I do want to go ahead
- 22:05Speaker 1: and let you guys know we are planning to do
- 22:08Speaker 1: a little bit of a retro on the High Republic.
- 22:11Speaker 1: We ended the High Republic not so long ago, but
- 22:16Speaker 1: we're gonna go back and we're gonna go to talk
- 22:18Speaker 1: about it, and we're gonna talk about it in order
- 22:22Speaker 1: via reading groups.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Yes, an episode on middle grade, an episode on a
- 22:31Speaker 2: young adult, and an adult, so it'd be three separate episodes.
- 22:34Speaker 2: We talked about doing the phases, but one of the
- 22:38Speaker 2: things that the story group involved had said when starting
- 22:43Speaker 2: is that they wanted the middle grade novels to be
- 22:45Speaker 2: one story that you could read through and understand everything
- 22:48Speaker 2: that is going on. So we figured that would be
- 22:51Speaker 2: an interesting talking point to still kind of bring back
- 22:54Speaker 2: up all of the points because we really hadn't completed
- 22:57Speaker 2: or reread or anything, but still be a little bit
- 23:00Speaker 2: different than comparing because we've done like a Phase one
- 23:03Speaker 2: retro a Phase two retro already. So doing something a
- 23:08Speaker 2: little bit different but still kind of an easy discussion point.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Bring up something a little different.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I think it's gonna be very interesting and
- 23:16Speaker 1: very fun. But you have you guys have that to
- 23:19Speaker 1: look forward to after the Mandoin Croku.
- 23:23Speaker 2: And then a lot of comics.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Yes, doing a lot of comic book reading, which is
- 23:29Speaker 1: gonna be fun because I haven't picked up a comic
- 23:31Speaker 1: book since our last review. I've kind of just stepped
- 23:35Speaker 1: away from that world for just a tiny bit. But
- 23:39Speaker 1: I'm ready to get back into it.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Uh.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Greg is saying I still never fully got into the
- 23:45Speaker 1: High Republic books. I need to give them another chance.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Uh it just didn't hook me. I think, honestly go
- 23:56Speaker 1: along with this journey with us. As far as the
- 24:00Speaker 1: adult novels, I think that there is a dramatic change
- 24:04Speaker 1: in tone as the story evolves. Of course, Light of
- 24:11Speaker 1: the Jedi is the one that started it. There was
- 24:15Speaker 1: some people who just didn't felt like and this is
- 24:19Speaker 1: a quote that might trigger some people, but it's just
- 24:21Speaker 1: a better way to explain how people describe Star Wars,
- 24:25Speaker 1: not my Star Wars. Yeah, but it was of course
- 24:29Speaker 1: something new, and so I would say take light of
- 24:34Speaker 1: the Jedi with a grain of salt, and then move
- 24:37Speaker 1: forward with the next books. If you don't like them
- 24:40Speaker 1: after the second and third one, That's what I would say, Hey,
- 24:43Speaker 1: it's not for you, because I would never be like, hey,
- 24:48Speaker 1: read these books so you can listen to our podcast
- 24:50Speaker 1: and then you just like feel like you're wasting money.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I would never want that for you, guys.
- 24:54Speaker 2: So Greg, I'm going to answer this one. I'm not
- 24:57Speaker 2: interested in AI YouTube video. I can't get behind the
- 25:03Speaker 2: idea whatsoever. And I'm not a fan so this one.
- 25:13Speaker 1: This one is very controversial, and I think more so
- 25:18Speaker 1: because of what kind of started the idea of uh
- 25:25Speaker 1: Star Wars stories. So we.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I would rather review a fan fiction where like a
- 25:36Speaker 2: fan movie, than an AI one.
- 25:38Speaker 1: And that's just we. We We've talked about our stance
- 25:43Speaker 1: on AI when it comes to creative storytelling, and so
- 25:48Speaker 1: it's not something that we are super interested in, Uh
- 25:51Speaker 1: excuse me, but we do and we would love to
- 25:58Speaker 1: hear more recommendation because we are uh, you know, ready
- 26:05Speaker 1: and willing to to just do and review what you
- 26:09Speaker 1: guys want to listen to.
- 26:10Speaker 2: So yeah, for sure, I will say the non Star
- 26:14Speaker 2: Wars recommendation. The other reason I haven't started our Patreon
- 26:18Speaker 2: book is because I'm listening to you have Caler Carl
- 26:21Speaker 2: book Farm.
- 26:23Speaker 1: You have been all over this series.
- 26:26Speaker 2: I love it.
- 26:30Speaker 1: What I need to do is I probably need to
- 26:34Speaker 1: just bite the bullet and save up some money for
- 26:40Speaker 1: Amazon so I can listen to the audio books.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Here's what you should do. It's called Dungeon Crawler Carl
- 26:48Speaker 2: greg and there's eight books out and he's predicting that
- 26:51Speaker 2: there's going to be about ten books. It's by Matt Dinneman,
- 26:57Speaker 2: but Clay. What you could also do is you could
- 27:01Speaker 2: wait for their two for one credit sale or and
- 27:05Speaker 2: then use a different email.
- 27:07Speaker 1: That's very true, very much, because the.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Audiobooks is the best part in my opinion.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Well yeah, I've I've heard amazing things about the narrator
- 27:19Speaker 1: and about the entire series as a whole. I do
- 27:23Speaker 1: feel a little like hipster ish when it comes to it,
- 27:26Speaker 1: of like, oh, everybody's listening to it, so I don't
- 27:29Speaker 1: want to listen to it. But now it's getting to
- 27:31Speaker 1: the point of like every one is listening to it.
- 27:36Speaker 2: It's so good, and yes, Greg, that's the series.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Yes, Greg, I would as somebody who has never listened
- 27:45Speaker 1: to it and have never read it, I would say, one,
- 27:50Speaker 1: use all of your credits on this series because it
- 27:55Speaker 1: is getting so many adaptations, it's moving on to TV
- 28:02Speaker 1: like it's it's it's the next big thing. It's it's
- 28:07Speaker 1: going to be like I think in a much better way.
- 28:14Speaker 1: This is going to be Ready Player one, but better.
- 28:25Speaker 2: I went through the first seven books in the series
- 28:29Speaker 2: in about a week and a half.
- 28:32Speaker 1: That's not a that's not a feat for you, though,
- 28:35Speaker 1: you can't say that's like, oh my gosh, like.
- 28:38Speaker 2: But listening to the audio book, that is a feat
- 28:41Speaker 2: for an audio book.
- 28:43Speaker 1: What would you compare it to? Uh? So the uh
- 28:48Speaker 1: the actual genre is uh RPG. Yes, it's it's light RPG,
- 28:59Speaker 1: like is the way it's.
- 29:02Speaker 2: The literary RPG. So I feel like it should.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Be late it should be but they but the category
- 29:08Speaker 1: as people call it is light RPG.
- 29:13Speaker 2: It's I would call it like a video game almost.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Like yeah, like I if if it's it's a little
- 29:22Speaker 1: bit of fantasy it's a little bit of uh sci fi.
- 29:29Speaker 2: It's there's magic, there's technology.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's literally everything put into one. I think
- 29:38Speaker 1: the closest thing you could compare it to without all
- 29:43Speaker 1: of the uh pop culture references, is Ready Player one.
- 29:51Speaker 1: So I I would say, like, give this thing a
- 29:54Speaker 1: shot for sure. And this is coming from somebody who
- 29:57Speaker 1: hasn't read it. I have just seen and heard everyone
- 30:01Speaker 1: gush over it. That's the only reason why I know
- 30:04Speaker 1: it's such a.
- 30:05Speaker 2: It's so good. So anyways, Mandalorian season.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Three, Yes, we will be talking right now retro review
- 30:17Speaker 1: Mando season three. Of course, this is our road to
- 30:21Speaker 1: the Mandalorian grogu uh Katie. This season opens up with,
- 30:35Speaker 1: of course Mando being an apostate, no longer a Mandalorian,
- 30:47Speaker 1: needing to bathe in the waters of Mandolor. When we
- 30:55Speaker 1: first reviewed this season, I remember us having okay to
- 31:07Speaker 1: good things to say for the four for the first
- 31:11Speaker 1: four episodes, and then it going downhill on the last
- 31:17Speaker 1: four episodes. That's what I remember.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I feel like that was the same. But I also
- 31:26Speaker 2: say I also would say, is that I think you
- 31:28Speaker 2: and I disagreed. I enjoyed this season of I I
- 31:38Speaker 2: liked it to.
- 31:41Speaker 1: The climax. I think that.
- 31:46Speaker 2: It was.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Episode twenty or chapter twenty two. Episode six is what
- 31:52Speaker 1: broke me. Of course, that is the Jack Black Lizzo
- 32:00Speaker 1: and uh.
- 32:02Speaker 2: See, I didn't hate that episode.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Though, oh I hated it.
- 32:07Speaker 4: We talked about this, yeah, see because for me it
- 32:14Speaker 4: was just a fun episode and like it still got
- 32:17Speaker 4: you to where you needed to be.
- 32:20Speaker 2: I think if they had approached because we talked about, like, oh,
- 32:25Speaker 2: the Book of Bofect oh, season three really should have
- 32:29Speaker 2: been the Book of Boat Crease.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Yes, And I think that's what we talked about that.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it would have changed the trajectory of
- 32:40Speaker 2: the show and really changed people's opinions on this is
- 32:46Speaker 2: like and talking about episode six. This episode is also
- 32:50Speaker 2: directed by Bryce els Howard.
- 32:51Speaker 1: So you meaning which is which? Is what we were like.
- 32:54Speaker 1: That's why I said, like, I'm so mad at this
- 32:57Speaker 1: episode because it's a beautiful episode.
- 33:02Speaker 2: It's beautifully directed. But I know that y'all disliked that
- 33:05Speaker 2: Jack Black and Liz.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Me yeah, Christopher uh uh uh oh shoot Christopher Lloyd.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:19Speaker 1: The for me, you know, there was which is funny
- 33:23Speaker 1: because me and Travis always had this argument of like,
- 33:26Speaker 1: are you too famous to be in Star Wars?
- 33:28Speaker 2: Nobody's too favoroites for Star Wars?
- 33:32Speaker 1: I agree, Unless you're Jack Black.
- 33:38Speaker 2: I think you're just bullshit.
- 33:46Speaker 1: And the and the reason being. The reason being is
- 33:51Speaker 1: like when it comes to acting and people going into
- 34:02Speaker 1: different characters, Hey, I can see an actor turn into
- 34:07Speaker 1: their character watching this episode, I'm just like, that's Jack Black.
- 34:12Speaker 1: That's nobody else. I don't know who he's trying to
- 34:15Speaker 1: play on this planet, but that's just Jack Black.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Wait, and I think they picked a character. I feel
- 34:21Speaker 2: like that he fit perfectly into the up who got stuck.
- 34:32Speaker 1: And it's trying to take life around. Yes, Jack Black place.
- 34:38Speaker 1: And for me, Christopher Lloyd, I do. I do like
- 34:43Speaker 1: the reveal of Christopher Lloyd's intentions in the show call
- 34:50Speaker 1: Back exactly the the Christopher Lloyd thing didn't bother me.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Like honestly, the when he when you hear Bogatan say, oh,
- 35:01Speaker 1: you're a separatist, He's like, that's a bullshit term, like
- 35:04Speaker 1: and then it starts to turn again. We've talked about this.
- 35:08Speaker 1: When it gets political, that's when things start to get juicy.
- 35:12Speaker 1: And so like he gets onto this giant rant about
- 35:15Speaker 1: how you know the politics of everything, and Count Dooku
- 35:18Speaker 1: was like a mastermind, and I'm like oo, And then
- 35:21Speaker 1: all of a sudden it turns into like a little
- 35:23Speaker 1: bit of like cartoonish humor with the with the taser,
- 35:29Speaker 1: and then it gets to Jack Black again. I'm like, god,
- 35:31Speaker 1: damn it, like you were getting this close. It was
- 35:34Speaker 1: getting good. And I think the one thing for me
- 35:38Speaker 1: this episode was the filler episode. Yeah, but eight with
- 35:48Speaker 1: eight episodes, you can't have any filler, right.
- 35:52Speaker 2: It's not as filler as some of the episodes been
- 35:55Speaker 2: because you did proceed forward more by getting the Mandalorians
- 36:00Speaker 2: yes from Plexar or whatever the planet was called and
- 36:09Speaker 2: plays Plazir fifteen, So I feel like it's less filiared
- 36:15Speaker 2: than some episodes have been. But like for me, I
- 36:19Speaker 2: would still probably say season two, season three, book a
- 36:24Speaker 2: Bubba fet season one, like that's where my overall ranking
- 36:30Speaker 2: for the Mandalorian shows had been. I would say season two,
- 36:36Speaker 2: season three, book a Boba Fette, season one.
- 36:41Speaker 1: I feel like we've done our rankings before and I
- 36:43Speaker 1: don't remember that. For me, I think it's season two,
- 36:54Speaker 1: season one, Season three, book.
- 36:59Speaker 2: See. I like the story that book Abette tells better
- 37:02Speaker 2: than I like the story from season one, Like there's
- 37:05Speaker 2: just not enough interesting things happening in season one.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Really I agree, But I genuinely think it's because of
- 37:13Speaker 1: the lightning and a bottle feel that Mando had, and
- 37:17Speaker 1: I can't let go of that, to be honest.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and I just still think after this rewatch, especially
- 37:24Speaker 2: like seeing that Mandalorian hasn't hasn't really aged as well,
- 37:32Speaker 2: Like I think that's where I'm like, Okay, they learned
- 37:35Speaker 2: more things in book Boba fet to tell about a story.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and again this is the one season where den
- 37:46Speaker 1: Jarn does not take off his helmet.
- 37:49Speaker 2: We know that was Gorenson is not the composer.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Yes, this was the season where uh Petro Pascal was
- 38:01Speaker 1: filming for the Last of Us as well as like
- 38:04Speaker 1: I think two other movies. He had a stacked year,
- 38:09Speaker 1: So of course we had uh Wayne I forgot his
- 38:20Speaker 1: his brand Wayne and Brendon Yeah Crowder, Yes, Brendon Wayne
- 38:26Speaker 1: was the majority of the time suit actor uh for
- 38:30Speaker 1: this season and didn't we I feel like it was
- 38:35Speaker 1: this season that like all of the memes were coming
- 38:38Speaker 1: out about like oh, this is definitely a Mando Boca
- 38:44Speaker 1: Tan like Love Interests season, because we felt some of
- 38:48Speaker 1: the tension in the first few episodes or the last
- 38:52Speaker 1: few episodes, like.
- 38:55Speaker 2: I will follow You.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Was like this this rewatch. I didn't feel it. I
- 39:04Speaker 1: didn't feel it this rewatch, and I think more so
- 39:09Speaker 1: again after episode six, I kind of like just zoned
- 39:12Speaker 1: out and just kind of I tried to watch, but
- 39:15Speaker 1: it was whatever. I still think that this season does
- 39:20Speaker 1: very well with you learning about Mandalor and all the
- 39:27Speaker 1: lore and all of this, and I think it does
- 39:30Speaker 1: very well for again, like you said, Bocatan story and
- 39:35Speaker 1: it should have been a book of Bokatan. I think
- 39:41Speaker 1: that there was just a few detours that we took
- 39:46Speaker 1: this season when you could have hard focused on other
- 39:51Speaker 1: things like the Pirates. We know that the Pirates were
- 39:56Speaker 1: there literally as a back door pilot to Skeleton Crew basically,
- 40:04Speaker 1: and not even a traditional backdoor pilot because there's just
- 40:08Speaker 1: one character that we will eventually see in the Skeleton Crew.
- 40:14Speaker 2: But like see for like two episodes exactly. But like
- 40:20Speaker 2: even then, still I don't hate the way they chose
- 40:24Speaker 2: to tell the story because I feel like you they
- 40:29Speaker 2: connected everything so well along the way to really make it.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Still like you were still progressing forward in the story.
- 40:39Speaker 2: I do feel like you miss Ludwig Gordson as the
- 40:43Speaker 2: composer in this season. I didn't get caught up in
- 40:47Speaker 2: as many moments as I thought I was going to
- 40:52Speaker 2: because I felt like the music was just a tiny
- 40:55Speaker 2: bit lagging. Joseph Shirley is the composer. He still does
- 40:58Speaker 2: a great job, It's just not Gorenson's music.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Yep.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Yeah, And I especially love the coursant episodes or the
- 41:09Speaker 2: coursant scenes that we get. I feel like the story
- 41:13Speaker 2: between Cain and Pershing and really that betrayal right there
- 41:18Speaker 2: is just epic, Like it's great storytelling.
- 41:23Speaker 1: I really really enjoyed this because of course we know that,
- 41:31Speaker 1: like we get a little bit more of it later on,
- 41:37Speaker 1: but like the whole build up to the inevitable, like, oh,
- 41:41Speaker 1: MAV Gideon was uh was basically quote unquote like rescued
- 41:48Speaker 1: uh from his from his ship to to get you know,
- 41:52Speaker 1: to where he was going to go to court or
- 41:54Speaker 1: whatever on trial. Excuse me, I do like that like that?
- 42:00Speaker 1: How this I think it was episode I think it
- 42:06Speaker 1: was the final episode or the second to last episode
- 42:10Speaker 1: where we see MAF Gideon in the holo holo in
- 42:16Speaker 1: the hollocrod No, not holocron. What's the word I'm looking
- 42:20Speaker 1: for what He's on the call, and he's like when
- 42:26Speaker 1: he hears that Bogatan and the Creed are working together,
- 42:31Speaker 1: he's like, Oh, that's impossible, like that they are like
- 42:34Speaker 1: not sworn enemies, but they just don't work well together,
- 42:36Speaker 1: you know. Like I do like all of that because
- 42:43Speaker 1: I think with where we are going and where hopefully again,
- 42:49Speaker 1: I do think that we will see an inevitable like
- 42:53Speaker 1: conclusion to this entire story eventually, the reveal of the clones. Again,
- 43:01Speaker 1: it's Star Wars. A lot of people get tired of
- 43:04Speaker 1: the clones, but I think that it is interesting enough
- 43:12Speaker 1: when you have these heads of the Old Empire that
- 43:20Speaker 1: don't learn their ways, you know, and learn from the
- 43:24Speaker 1: mistakes of their predecessors aka Palpatine, that like, hey, what
- 43:30Speaker 1: direction are they wanting to go with these clones, you know,
- 43:34Speaker 1: because each one is going to have their own individual
- 43:37Speaker 1: you know, motivations, you know.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Yeah, And I'm where like get In was like, oh,
- 43:44Speaker 2: like you're the one doing the cloning, Like why are
- 43:46Speaker 2: you Why do you think I'm the one manipulating pershing
- 43:49Speaker 2: or whatever. Yeah, and like he was hiding his own
- 43:53Speaker 2: motivations from his own team, Like so.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I I I really enjoyed it. You know,
- 44:03Speaker 1: the they did show that it was the clones were
- 44:08Speaker 1: quote unquote destroyed big air quotes there destroyed in the
- 44:15Speaker 1: final episode. But there's still a lot there's a lot
- 44:19Speaker 1: of potential there.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:23Speaker 1: I do have to laugh still. I laughed when I
- 44:27Speaker 1: first watched it. I laughed again, and when I watched
- 44:30Speaker 1: it today. The final scene where Gineon dies, like he
- 44:36Speaker 1: reacts before the explosion goes off, So you see his
- 44:41Speaker 1: hands go up and he screams, and then the explosion happens, uh,
- 44:45Speaker 1: and then he gets engulfed by it. I thought that
- 44:48Speaker 1: was hilarious. But yeah, like, and again we get another
- 44:56Speaker 1: view of Grogu's powers. He is getting stronger. That's the
- 45:01Speaker 1: entire point of the small parts of Grogu's story. It's like, hey,
- 45:07Speaker 1: he's learning right, and he.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Didn't pass out after controlling a firestorm around his people.
- 45:16Speaker 1: And not only learning his ways of the force, but
- 45:19Speaker 1: also learning in just life. Because we had the two
- 45:24Speaker 1: Mandalorians fighting before the big showdown and Grogu stops him.
- 45:30Speaker 1: He's like, no, no, because God, that was something that
- 45:35Speaker 1: we both disagreed on, the constant no no no no
- 45:40Speaker 1: no no no no no no no. But it's it's
- 45:46Speaker 1: the way he's communicating. And I think now after having
- 45:52Speaker 1: a child fully develop and learn how to speak, I
- 45:56Speaker 1: can somewhat appreciate it a little bit more. But it's
- 46:01Speaker 1: it's showing his growth. We know that Grogu will not
- 46:08Speaker 1: talk in the Mandalorian Grogu movie. That's the one thing
- 46:10Speaker 1: that was spoiled via even the uh, the creators of
- 46:16Speaker 1: the movie and whatnot. But like, I think that with
- 46:25Speaker 1: this growth of Grogu, there's always that chance, you know.
- 46:29Speaker 2: Yeah. And I think he also got more confidence in
- 46:32Speaker 2: this because Dinn has the conversation with him as like, look, dude,
- 46:37Speaker 2: we can't keep running, like we have to take care
- 46:39Speaker 2: of this because otherwise he's just gonna keep coming after us, yeah,
- 46:44Speaker 2: like at the end of the day. And so I
- 46:47Speaker 2: think he took that and kind of ran with it.
- 46:49Speaker 2: And that's why I think too, like we know Grogu's
- 46:52Speaker 2: gonna be on his own for part of the movie,
- 46:54Speaker 2: so I think that's gonna give him the confidence that
- 46:58Speaker 2: he really needs to kind of push forward in that direction.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah, is there anything else? I know we've
- 47:09Speaker 1: kind of talked about more of like the back end
- 47:11Speaker 1: of the season.
- 47:13Speaker 3: The Order sixty six flashback, So again we have to
- 47:25Speaker 3: talk about this there.
- 47:27Speaker 1: There was a lot of controversy when this first showed
- 47:34Speaker 1: not another survivor, but we knew.
- 47:38Speaker 2: He was a survivor, like because he's fifty years old, Like, yeah,
- 47:43Speaker 2: you can't tell me that they just discovered this kid
- 47:45Speaker 2: on his own, like he came from he came from
- 47:48Speaker 2: the Jedi Order, like you knew it was coming.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but this was also the reveal of beck Y,
- 47:58Speaker 1: which I still loved. My question to you, and I
- 48:04Speaker 1: think I asked this question in our own review on
- 48:08Speaker 1: our first review, but I'll ask it again here. Do
- 48:12Speaker 1: you think we will ever see the moments or the
- 48:20Speaker 1: story of when beck leaves Coruscants to the point where
- 48:27Speaker 1: Mando meets Grogu for the first time.
- 48:32Speaker 2: If we did, it would be in comic form. I
- 48:36Speaker 2: feel like, I feel like you need the capability to
- 48:39Speaker 2: kind of time jump around, and I would picture like
- 48:44Speaker 2: you would get Keller and beck and Grogu up until
- 48:50Speaker 2: the point that Grogu is kidnapped or whatever. How he
- 48:53Speaker 2: gets into the Empire's hands, like what happens to Keller
- 49:01Speaker 2: and Beck like, well, that's the main part of your story,
- 49:04Speaker 2: because you don't want a story about Oh Grogu was
- 49:10Speaker 2: like he kept gig Viles drawn from him and like
- 49:14Speaker 2: that's not a story Like.
- 49:16Speaker 1: Well, and the reason why I ask is because Beck
- 49:20Speaker 1: does tell Grogu, Hey, we're gonna meet up with some
- 49:23Speaker 1: of my friends. Mm hmm, and like you see, well,
- 49:29Speaker 1: you see the Nubians. But a part of me felt
- 49:32Speaker 1: like these aren't his friends. Yeah, Like a part of
- 49:38Speaker 1: me like, you know, like there's somebody out there that
- 49:42Speaker 1: Beck is trying to get Grogu too, Like that's who
- 49:45Speaker 1: I think his friends are, and so and and you know,
- 49:50Speaker 1: somebody may have already asked Feloni, like, hey, who are
- 49:53Speaker 1: Beck's friends that are that he was wanting to meet,
- 49:55Speaker 1: and he could have definitely said, oh, it's the Nubians,
- 49:58Speaker 1: you know, yeah, to get them to escape. But there's
- 50:02Speaker 1: just that small inkling that I had while watching this
- 50:06Speaker 1: rewatch of like that's too convenient. You know, I think
- 50:12Speaker 1: these people were just helping Beck get to his friends
- 50:18Speaker 1: and quote unquote friends because we don't know who they were.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, that's a good question.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Yeah, there was, Yeah, the flashback. Trying to think of
- 50:34Speaker 1: anything else prior to the flashback for this season, I
- 50:43Speaker 1: think the I kind of got tired already, and I
- 50:50Speaker 1: think this was something that we both made up. Made
- 50:52Speaker 1: a point of every season having a giant monster.
- 51:00Speaker 2: I don't hate that.
- 51:02Speaker 1: I I don't hate it either, but it was just like, hey,
- 51:07Speaker 1: there goes half the budget, you know, when it comes
- 51:12Speaker 1: to the CGI and the special effects of this show.
- 51:19Speaker 1: That's fair because this season had two. There was the
- 51:24Speaker 1: giant turbo crocodile in the very first episode, and then
- 51:28Speaker 1: there was the like bird aridactyl, you know, and then
- 51:36Speaker 1: the one.
- 51:36Speaker 2: On Mandel War. So there's actually three.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Oh that's the myth.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Yeah, well you have the Mythosaur, which I don't feel
- 51:46Speaker 2: like the myth is like, I don't feel that the
- 51:49Speaker 2: myth Sour is the one I'm talking about. It's the
- 51:51Speaker 2: one with the giant crystals when they're on like the
- 51:54Speaker 2: refugee ship.
- 51:59Speaker 1: Now we've got to go on the case. Yeah, yeah,
- 52:01Speaker 1: that's right, that's right. Totally forgot about that one, honestly,
- 52:08Speaker 1: But as soon as you said I was like, oh, yeah,
- 52:11Speaker 1: there is a third one, but yeah, like that, I
- 52:15Speaker 1: think it's just a wow factor when it comes. I
- 52:18Speaker 1: think more so because of Star Wars as Star Wars
- 52:22Speaker 1: and it's just like, hey, you're I genuinely think if
- 52:28Speaker 1: you were to bring in more smaller threats that would
- 52:32Speaker 1: be more interesting, like design wise than just like, oh,
- 52:37Speaker 1: there's this you know, three hundred foot monster that's gonna
- 52:42Speaker 1: come attack you like every single time. And I know
- 52:47Speaker 1: it's like, hey, these are Mandalorians. There's supposed to be
- 52:50Speaker 1: some of the strongest characters in the Star Wars universe.
- 52:54Speaker 1: They have unbeatable armor, you know, like, yeah, they need
- 52:59Speaker 1: something to give them a challenge. But like even the
- 53:03Speaker 1: small like cave people gave Bokatana challenge, you know. Yeah,
- 53:07Speaker 1: So I think I think you gotta find a sweet
- 53:10Speaker 1: little spot there. But it's still fun. It's still fun.
- 53:17Speaker 1: But I think that's all I got.
- 53:19Speaker 2: I think that's all I got too.
- 53:22Speaker 1: All right, Well, if that is everything, that's gonna be
- 53:26Speaker 1: our show for tonight. Of course next week, guys, it's here. Finally,
- 53:33Speaker 1: it's here, six years in the making, we finally get
- 53:39Speaker 1: to review a movie on Star Wars Alliance, a new movie.
- 53:46Speaker 1: So Uh, that's gonna be a lot of fun. Really
- 53:48Speaker 1: looking forward to it again. I'm gonna be watching it
- 53:52Speaker 1: Thursday afternoon and quite possibly on Friday before our review.
