- 1:35Speaker 5: We had robo Flynn Halloween, so we got elf Flynn
- 1:40Speaker 5: because you couldn't do a Santa voice.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Even though I got some good tips from chat GPT
- 1:46Speaker 4: on how to sound like Santa your best.
- 1:49Speaker 6: No, that was scary.
- 1:51Speaker 5: Did you just try to backed out yeah, I know.
- 1:54Speaker 4: I tried to when I started, When I started doing
- 1:57Speaker 4: something that, it was like I was, it started like
- 1:59Speaker 4: a scary thing. I was going, that was that's scary Santa, Yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 4: saying it's definitely not scary.
- 2:06Speaker 6: He's jolly.
- 2:07Speaker 5: I mean, I don't know. Some kids cry when they
- 2:09Speaker 5: see him.
- 2:10Speaker 6: Great point.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Does anybody watch klous yet? I have not yet talked
- 2:13Speaker 4: about it.
- 2:13Speaker 6: I did, but I did years ago.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Yeah, they haven't got a lot of heart.
- 2:19Speaker 6: It's got a lot of heart to it. People.
- 2:21Speaker 5: I put my Christmas tree up on Sunday and I
- 2:25Speaker 5: just was playing like Friends Christmas episodes.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Friends Christmas Episodes. Okay, so there's ten seasons, there's ten episodes.
- 2:32Speaker 4: How many seasons there there's fifty, I don't know nine.
- 2:36Speaker 6: Nine So there's nine Christmas.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Episodes nine I don't know. No, you're right, ten.
- 2:45Speaker 6: Big Friends again, Huh. I used to watch Friends.
- 2:48Speaker 4: I mean I used to watch a lot of like
- 2:49Speaker 4: sitcoms in the five to seven o'clock hour.
- 2:55Speaker 6: They looking at me like that more.
- 2:57Speaker 7: Just yes, continue, you said sitcoms. You said it plural,
- 3:00Speaker 7: waiting for some more? Yeah, because I think like on
- 3:02Speaker 7: where in Tyler growing up? Like Fox is it Fox
- 3:06Speaker 7: forty four.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Think I used to show a lot of reruns until
- 3:10Speaker 4: like the seven o'clock hour when primetime television started. So
- 3:12Speaker 4: it's like friends. It was step by Step, Drew Carrey Show,
- 3:17Speaker 4: France Martin, Oh Martins. That was all God, my favorite
- 3:22Speaker 4: Drew carry show is also a little bit underrated.
- 3:25Speaker 6: It was good.
- 3:26Speaker 5: I don't think I've ever seen that one, but I anyway,
- 3:31Speaker 5: and he joined it or was he always there?
- 3:34Speaker 6: I think he was.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Yeah, he was like the host or.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Something part of it, and I was I think when
- 3:39Speaker 4: I was in Green Bay, I got into Everybody Loves
- 3:42Speaker 4: Raymond and King of Queens.
- 3:44Speaker 6: Never got into the Everybody Loves Rain.
- 3:46Speaker 5: I love King of Queens.
- 3:47Speaker 6: That was good. Definitely watch reruns of that. Raymond was good.
- 3:50Speaker 6: Got a lot of heart.
- 3:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I like it. It's not something I go back to, though, No,
- 3:55Speaker 5: got a lot.
- 3:55Speaker 6: I don't think it's got a lot of heart.
- 3:57Speaker 7: That means like he thinks we won't like it, and
- 3:59Speaker 7: he trying to make us feel bad about it.
- 4:03Speaker 5: It's got a lot of heart.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Lot well, class does have a lot of heart. All
- 4:06Speaker 4: it makes you feel emotional. That's what you wanted a
- 4:08Speaker 4: holiday movie. You want to feel like emotional of course,
- 4:11Speaker 4: like Christmas is about our Lord and Savior, Jesus being born,
- 4:14Speaker 4: the happy Birthday. It's also about you know, giving and sharing,
- 4:18Speaker 4: sharing gifts and giving to those given to others. Yeah,
- 4:22Speaker 4: that's what what class is about. Learning, learning a lesson
- 4:25Speaker 4: life lessons. Yeah, not being selfish? Selfish? What was the
- 4:29Speaker 4: one sitcom?
- 4:30Speaker 7: Like you knew the family was going to probably sit
- 4:34Speaker 7: around and watch live like it wasn't gonna catch reruns
- 4:37Speaker 7: because you couldn't go back, you couldn't rewind the TV.
- 4:40Speaker 7: Like if it came on at seven, you got to
- 4:43Speaker 7: be ready at seven. You're going to miss some of it, right,
- 4:46Speaker 7: I don't think the fan.
- 4:47Speaker 6: I don't know. I don't remember our family sitting around
- 4:49Speaker 6: a sitcom.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Yeah, but but high quality drama, I mean, get ready
- 4:54Speaker 4: for nine pm? Uh, NBC er coming on? Okay, we
- 4:59Speaker 4: watched The Files. Would watch that as a family?
- 5:02Speaker 6: Fox?
- 5:02Speaker 4: Yeah, Fox, you are mb practice. My dad was an attorney,
- 5:07Speaker 4: so we watched the practice.
- 5:08Speaker 7: Yeah okay, yeah, the old Hester Households built a little
- 5:14Speaker 7: bit different. We watched Martin Live for sure, uh and
- 5:18Speaker 7: Mary with Children with alb that was live viewing for sure.
- 5:23Speaker 4: We didn't watch that as a family, but that would
- 5:25Speaker 4: come on like early early FX, I think, yeah, like
- 5:28Speaker 4: that came out, and then at nine thirty and Living
- 5:29Speaker 4: Color would come on.
- 5:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 4: I feel like I feel like Married with Children's at
- 5:33Speaker 4: nine and in Living Color was nine thirty.
- 5:36Speaker 6: I feel like what happened is what happened.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Good stuff though, But it wasn't like family, Hey, everyone
- 5:44Speaker 4: gather around, get a bucket a popcorn, and watch a sitcom.
- 5:47Speaker 4: It was like you're going for the hour long drama
- 5:50Speaker 4: if you're getting some popcorn, right.
- 5:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:53Speaker 5: X Files watched Spanish soap operas as a family because
- 5:59Speaker 5: they were so dramatic. Oh yeah, like that's what we
- 6:02Speaker 5: would do.
- 6:03Speaker 7: Yeah, they're still like they're still dramatic. Like I love
- 6:05Speaker 7: seeing the clips like on social media, like whatever the lady.
- 6:08Speaker 5: Watched one in a long time. I mean I've watched
- 6:12Speaker 5: them like pretty recently, but in a while I haven't
- 6:15Speaker 5: watched one. But they used to be so insane.
- 6:20Speaker 6: Paul will get behind me on this one too.
- 6:23Speaker 7: You got home, you did your homework, whatever, and you
- 6:27Speaker 7: watched TBS, not for a sitcom, but for the Atlanta Braves.
- 6:34Speaker 6: That's what you did.
- 6:35Speaker 7: Your own superstation TBST Braves every game.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Someone mentioned here in the chat Home Improvement that was
- 6:42Speaker 4: another one of my like staples staples like big time
- 6:47Speaker 4: JTT so hot right now.
- 6:51Speaker 6: But fun story here. When I was in Green Bay,
- 6:54Speaker 6: I think that the.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Older brother was a uh Brad Brad. I can't remember
- 6:58Speaker 4: his full name. Okay, so how we han't made enough
- 7:00Speaker 4: Brad and Chad jokes yet.
- 7:02Speaker 6: We will.
- 7:02Speaker 4: We'll get there, so Brad from Home Improvement. The older
- 7:05Speaker 4: brother grew up in Ohio. Friends of the family are
- 7:09Speaker 4: somehow connected to a J Hawk and we hung out
- 7:12Speaker 4: multiple times in Green Bay. Got over served multiple times
- 7:16Speaker 4: of them. We're basically drinking buddies. Not a big deal.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Never asked him about old j T T that I
- 7:22Speaker 4: wonder how he's doing. Actually do I feel like a
- 7:24Speaker 4: video surface around about him a few years ago. I
- 7:27Speaker 4: think he went to an ivy league school, Like went
- 7:29Speaker 4: to school that was attractive of people thought he would
- 7:32Speaker 4: be as a child. Wow, I.
- 7:37Speaker 5: Didn't say that he went into hiding for like a while.
- 7:40Speaker 6: They were shaming people here now we're doing it eight
- 7:42Speaker 6: or seven. He was a dream.
- 7:44Speaker 5: But I'm that picture of him now, Paul, I.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Mean all the girls you had crushes on in sixth
- 7:51Speaker 4: seventh grade. Didn't have a crush on you because they
- 7:54Speaker 4: like JTT.
- 7:58Speaker 7: Sounds like some really those words never crustion me because
- 8:02Speaker 7: they were in the jq T.
- 8:03Speaker 5: I'm so jealous of.
- 8:06Speaker 6: He like wants him to.
- 8:07Speaker 5: Be ugly now element he doesn't look like how.
- 8:11Speaker 6: Probably saying too, he's a triple threat. Little Susie look
- 8:13Speaker 6: a little seasy. She didn't like you for you, not
- 8:15Speaker 6: because it's at T bud. That's how she blamed it.
- 8:18Speaker 7: What was the name Jimbo used to go out with me?
- 8:21Speaker 7: Always using these scenarios, Susie Cue, something like.
- 8:25Speaker 5: That that feels like a Jimbo?
- 8:27Speaker 4: Yeah, why why JaMarcus su Cue?
- 8:36Speaker 7: All right, let's see, I don't even want to cut
- 8:41Speaker 7: this feels this feels dirty.
- 8:44Speaker 5: It takes like no comment, and that's how you know.
- 8:48Speaker 6: This feels dirty.
- 8:49Speaker 7: This man's just trying to drink his energy, drink where
- 8:53Speaker 7: his beanie and.
- 8:54Speaker 6: Live his life. Sweater his sweater, and Matt's trying to
- 8:58Speaker 6: over here shame this man.
- 8:59Speaker 4: I did, Yeah, I got you did. Whatever, Susie Cue, you.
- 9:09Speaker 6: Go to a picture show something, just just just hang
- 9:11Speaker 6: out picture That was more of a less it's more
- 9:16Speaker 6: of a less deal Thursday night.
- 9:19Speaker 7: What you're going out to the bars? Want you go
- 9:22Speaker 7: grab some nice pizza? We see a picture show with
- 9:26Speaker 7: a lady friend.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Remember one time we all had to watch a handful
- 9:31Speaker 4: of our teammates run the bleachers.
- 9:34Speaker 6: That was because second day Less was here.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Because a group of our teammates, Yeah, great guys, they
- 9:42Speaker 4: were in class and we were having an issue like
- 9:44Speaker 4: showing up to class a little bit, and they ordered
- 9:47Speaker 4: a pizza, yeah, to be delivered to them in class.
- 9:50Speaker 6: And so Less Miles had to address it.
- 9:52Speaker 4: You know, you you gotta set it, set a tone,
- 9:56Speaker 4: and it was he set the tone, but we all
- 9:58Speaker 4: kind of got a good chuckle out of it. And
- 10:00Speaker 4: he's like, and you got these guys with the audacity
- 10:04Speaker 4: to order a pizza, and.
- 10:08Speaker 6: We're gonna run.
- 10:09Speaker 4: And so we all had to sit there, The whole
- 10:11Speaker 4: team sat there and watch them just absolutely get killed
- 10:14Speaker 4: on the running the end zone bleachers. And it wasn't
- 10:17Speaker 4: the steps, so you'd have to run the bleacher, so
- 10:18Speaker 4: you'd run on the metal bleachers all the way to
- 10:21Speaker 4: the scoreboard back down in the north end zone.
- 10:23Speaker 6: He just in the north end zone. He just sat there.
- 10:25Speaker 6: We just sat there.
- 10:25Speaker 4: As a team and watched them run up and down.
- 10:30Speaker 4: That was always a good, good, nice little workout, nice
- 10:32Speaker 4: old quad burn. I definitely remember who one of them was.
- 10:38Speaker 7: But anyways, we don't have to name names. Literally, like
- 10:43Speaker 7: the first thing we it might have been the first
- 10:45Speaker 7: meeting we ever had with him.
- 10:47Speaker 6: I don't think it was the first.
- 10:48Speaker 7: Maybe like he had like the hey I'm less fun.
- 10:50Speaker 6: It was early on. I don't even know if it
- 10:51Speaker 6: was a second.
- 10:52Speaker 4: It was early on though, But you know, anyway, it
- 10:54Speaker 4: brings us our point shout out to Home Improvement Brothers.
- 10:59Speaker 6: One of those drinking buddy and.
- 11:01Speaker 7: The other one you just shamed the radio, is that
- 11:04Speaker 7: Mark was the younger one.
- 11:05Speaker 6: I feel like that he was kind of it feels right.
- 11:07Speaker 6: He was kind of whiny.
- 11:08Speaker 7: That feels really right. He is a little whiny, all right.
- 11:12Speaker 7: So we will take a break here. We do have
- 11:15Speaker 7: an update on the Penn State head coaching We do.
- 11:19Speaker 7: We do certainly want to break it down. It somewhere.
- 11:22Speaker 7: I didn't think they would go, but I understand why
- 11:25Speaker 7: they would, and we'll talk about that fit. We'll also
- 11:28Speaker 7: talk about Kentucky they make a move as well. So
- 11:31Speaker 7: the coaching carousel that had the pedal to the metal
- 11:34Speaker 7: for really weeks and months.
- 11:36Speaker 6: Is now maybe kind.
- 11:38Speaker 7: Of sort of come to a stop here, so we'll
- 11:40Speaker 7: update you when we come back.
- 11:42Speaker 6: It is oh t.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Beat off the bench.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Matt loves this website. It's a dot com.
- 11:51Speaker 7: Uh, this is football season upgrade. You're cooler with a
- 11:54Speaker 7: beer that's as bold as your tailgate. That is Dose Sekis.
- 11:58Speaker 7: So whether you're cracking go being a Chris Do Sekis lagger,
- 12:02Speaker 7: or you're going with a big, smooth, rich amber. It
- 12:05Speaker 7: is the perfect beard, a peer with friends, food, and
- 12:09Speaker 7: of course a full slate of games. We always tell
- 12:12Speaker 7: you it's not a bad time anytimes, a great time
- 12:16Speaker 7: to go four dose. But right now during the holiday season,
- 12:19Speaker 7: are you kidding me? You're sitting down there, You're watching
- 12:22Speaker 7: your third Bowl game of the day. Feed up, belly full,
- 12:26Speaker 7: beer in hand. We call that utopia. Yeah, we got
- 12:29Speaker 7: what we got.
- 12:30Speaker 4: We got conference championship games, we got Army Navy, we
- 12:33Speaker 4: got Heisman shows, we got Bowl games, we got playoffs
- 12:36Speaker 4: coming up. Every single time you watch a football game,
- 12:39Speaker 4: it's gonna be a great time to go for dose.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Drink do Sekies. What is the cold Mexican lagger. It's
- 12:44Speaker 4: their amber, the chiladas, whatever it is. Go for dose
- 12:47Speaker 4: dose Sechies.
- 13:12Speaker 1: From the locker room to the airwaves. Gets off the
- 13:14Speaker 1: bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 13:17Speaker 7: Secrets right, all right, all right, welcome back in ot
- 13:53Speaker 7: B here live from the Raising Caines Studio. Does look
- 13:58Speaker 7: like Penn Steak has found at least maybe their top
- 14:02Speaker 7: candidate BYU head coach Glance at hockey.
- 14:08Speaker 6: Not a name that we've really ever sold that yesterday
- 14:10Speaker 6: and I was like, I was like, what serious.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Then I was like, wait a minute, Yeah, that's probably
- 14:16Speaker 4: that actually kind of plays. I feel like I want
- 14:18Speaker 4: to started looking at it and thinking about the success
- 14:21Speaker 4: that he's had, the kind of the mentality that you have.
- 14:23Speaker 4: It seems like a big ten kind of fella.
- 14:28Speaker 7: Again, like we just I guess we assumed there's gonna
- 14:31Speaker 7: be a lot of names and maybe they were waiting
- 14:32Speaker 7: on a certain head coach. Now they still have an
- 14:34Speaker 7: opportunity to make the college football playoff. But I mean,
- 14:38Speaker 7: this is somebody that on his resume and by the way,
- 14:40Speaker 7: he played fullback in college. Just in case anybody is
- 14:43Speaker 7: wondering there, And that's where that grit comes from. But
- 14:46Speaker 7: he's had a lot of success there at BYU, I know,
- 14:49Speaker 7: eighty three and forty four. He's been the coach since
- 14:51Speaker 7: twenty sixteen. They have finished ranked three times, but over
- 14:56Speaker 7: the last two years it's been eleven and two and
- 14:58Speaker 7: eleven and one, twenty two and three over the last
- 15:02Speaker 7: couple of years. And they were independent for a long time,
- 15:04Speaker 7: and so that's always a little bit different, Like you're wondering, Okay,
- 15:09Speaker 7: well you're not in a conference. We talk about with
- 15:12Speaker 7: Notre Dame all the time. Was your schedule really that difficult?
- 15:16Speaker 7: Who were you scheduling? When were they good? Or is
- 15:18Speaker 7: it just a name? But since they've been in a conference,
- 15:21Speaker 7: they've had more structure. They have been twenty two and three.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm looking at the record too, so I mean
- 15:28Speaker 4: they I mean they beat Utah twenty four to twenty one,
- 15:31Speaker 4: Iowa State forty one, twenty seven.
- 15:33Speaker 6: They're only lost this season.
- 15:35Speaker 4: It's twenty nine to seven against Texas Tech, who you know,
- 15:38Speaker 4: number eight in the country. So he certainly has I mean, ken,
- 15:41Speaker 4: is it fair to say overachieved at BYU?
- 15:45Speaker 6: I mean, is that fair? Is that a fair statement
- 15:47Speaker 6: to say? I mean, would you just say eleven and
- 15:49Speaker 6: two and they're eleven eleven and two last.
- 15:51Speaker 7: Year yeap and being in the Alamo Bowl with Shadira Sanders,
- 15:55Speaker 7: Travis Hunter.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Yep, it's certainly not the probably the sexy name. I'm
- 16:00Speaker 4: on the top of people's list going into this across
- 16:02Speaker 4: the country people looking at it, which like kind of
- 16:07Speaker 4: going back to what we talked about in the first alvert,
- 16:09Speaker 4: Like yesterday in Lane's presco is he did talk about
- 16:12Speaker 4: four schools, Like all we know of and heard of
- 16:15Speaker 4: was three schools.
- 16:15Speaker 6: What could have been that fourth school?
- 16:19Speaker 4: Penn State would be the other one that I would
- 16:21Speaker 4: think would have potentially popped up, And there's probably if
- 16:27Speaker 4: that was, then there are no coincidence that somebody else
- 16:29Speaker 4: has popped up as their leading guy once Lane decides
- 16:31Speaker 4: to go to LSU. I don't know if it's Penn State.
- 16:34Speaker 4: It kind of feels weird, like Lane Kevin and Big
- 16:36Speaker 4: Ten feels a little strange.
- 16:38Speaker 6: It doesn't feel right to me. But it's the of course,
- 16:41Speaker 6: the other like blue blood that was out there with
- 16:43Speaker 6: a coaching.
- 16:44Speaker 7: Vacancy, and so it's a name that we haven't heard,
- 16:47Speaker 7: but is a name that makes a lot of sense
- 16:49Speaker 7: with how he plays a physicality certainly feels like it
- 16:52Speaker 7: would fit in with the Big Ten, and a lot
- 16:54Speaker 7: of people think maybe even Penn State would wait on
- 16:56Speaker 7: Kaitlin to boor if that was an option, if for
- 16:58Speaker 7: some reason he wanted to move on from Alabama, and
- 17:01Speaker 7: we haven't heard that really, just speculating on the fact
- 17:04Speaker 7: that there's a lot of pressure that comes with the
- 17:06Speaker 7: Alabama job. Kentucky, as we talked about, they did make
- 17:10Speaker 7: a move in the eleventh hour after everyone kind of
- 17:12Speaker 7: moved on, fired and hired a coach. They move on
- 17:16Speaker 7: from Mark Stoops you heard that here yesterday him to
- 17:19Speaker 7: rest will Stein, the Oregon offensive coordinator. Looks like he
- 17:23Speaker 7: is going to be the next head coach for the
- 17:25Speaker 7: Kentucky Wildcats.
- 17:26Speaker 6: So they do move how pretty quickly, So Oregon oc
- 17:30Speaker 6: to Kentucky. Yep, so at least I had.
- 17:32Speaker 4: I mean, it looks like they had a plan in
- 17:35Speaker 4: place before they might made the firing. Kind of kind
- 17:37Speaker 4: of looks like with the late firing, like they had
- 17:41Speaker 4: that they didn't really know what they were doing. But
- 17:44Speaker 4: you know, I guess it's working. I guess they had
- 17:45Speaker 4: their guy kind of earmarked. I guess I don't know.
- 17:48Speaker 4: I mean, you would think Somemheer would have been their
- 17:50Speaker 4: guy that they would have gone after, right.
- 17:55Speaker 7: Unless they were like we won an offensive coach, which
- 17:58Speaker 7: sometimes people get caught up too much into that instead
- 18:00Speaker 7: of finding maybe the right coach, right, Like, we just
- 18:02Speaker 7: had a defensive coach and Mark Stubs for this amount
- 18:05Speaker 7: of time our offenses have been really clunky. We won
- 18:08Speaker 7: an offensive guy, not just as a coordinator, but to
- 18:11Speaker 7: lead the charge. We've seen and heard from not only ads,
- 18:14Speaker 7: general managers and team presidents in the NFL that they'll
- 18:17Speaker 7: do that, they'll go completely away from what they had. Yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 7: sometimes you just got to like kind of know who
- 18:23Speaker 7: you are as a as a school Kentucky, like you know,
- 18:26Speaker 7: I don't know, they feel like this hard knows if
- 18:29Speaker 7: you're gonna be good kind of hard nos gritty, good
- 18:31Speaker 7: defense type of type of team.
- 18:34Speaker 6: You got to kind of gott to lean into that sometimes.
- 18:36Speaker 4: But you know what, they decide to go a different
- 18:38Speaker 4: direction higher an offensive gal, we'll see, you know, we'll
- 18:40Speaker 4: see how it plays out. It's always kind of hard
- 18:42Speaker 4: to me on schools like that. If when you have
- 18:46Speaker 4: these like traditional either really offensive teams or really defensive
- 18:50Speaker 4: things like look at like for so long, look at
- 18:53Speaker 4: Oklahoma and then look at like Texas Tech. They always
- 18:55Speaker 4: had these good offenses, but they couldn't figure out the
- 18:57Speaker 4: defensive side of the ball.
- 19:00Speaker 6: So sometimes you just got to kind of like lean
- 19:02Speaker 6: into that a little bit.
- 19:03Speaker 4: Yeah, now, of course Oklahoma's figured that out and they've kind
- 19:06Speaker 4: of flipped it. Kentucky always just feels like this hard nose,
- 19:10Speaker 4: we're gonna run it, We're gonna play good defense type
- 19:12Speaker 4: of if they're gonna be good. Now, they don't play
- 19:15Speaker 4: great defense very often, but when they've been good in
- 19:18Speaker 4: the past, it's usually been that way. We'll see a
- 19:21Speaker 4: lot of coaching moves, a lot of guys I've never
- 19:24Speaker 4: heard of.
- 19:25Speaker 7: I've been waiting for that. I've been waiting for you
- 19:27Speaker 7: to be like, who.
- 19:29Speaker 4: To this vein pop it in the forehead. I'm trying
- 19:31Speaker 4: to figure this one out. To talk to somebody you've
- 19:33Speaker 4: heard of? Yes, yeah, you know him for sure, for sure.
- 19:35Speaker 4: He've been I mean, he've been in BYU for a
- 19:37Speaker 4: long time.
- 19:38Speaker 6: It just it really makes me curious.
- 19:40Speaker 4: I really want to know who that fourth school, as
- 19:42Speaker 4: Laine was talking about again, that's all on social media.
- 19:44Speaker 6: It was UCLA last night, So I don't know. I
- 19:47Speaker 6: know that's one.
- 19:48Speaker 7: Thousand percent doesn't seem I would have guessed Auburn. Like
- 19:55Speaker 7: when people yesterday were coming up to me like, hey, who's.
- 19:57Speaker 6: The for schooling, I guess Alburn. I don't know. They
- 20:00Speaker 6: were pretty interested in Lane two years ago, Kentucky.
- 20:05Speaker 7: Out of the moves that have been made, and let's
- 20:07Speaker 7: take Lane, Kipp and Lsu out of it, because obviously
- 20:09Speaker 7: we're biased in that answer, Out of the moves that
- 20:11Speaker 7: have been made, what's the one that you think makes
- 20:15Speaker 7: the most sense.
- 20:17Speaker 6: You don't have to give me names. I know you
- 20:19Speaker 6: and names. Trying to think one that makes the most sense.
- 20:23Speaker 7: Landre Paul, y'all got to be involved in this exercise
- 20:25Speaker 7: as well. Well you know what I'm saying, Like the
- 20:27Speaker 7: one that you feel like, oh man, that's gonna be
- 20:30Speaker 7: a good deal, James Franklin, James makes sense.
- 20:34Speaker 6: Yeahn't expect Okay, that.
- 20:37Speaker 4: A one hundred percent make That one was the one. When
- 20:39Speaker 4: it happened, I was like, yes, that feels really comfy. Yeah,
- 20:42Speaker 4: that just feels like it's right.
- 20:43Speaker 7: Okay, And you kind of kind of know more of
- 20:45Speaker 7: what you're getting now the ceiling might not be as high.
- 20:49Speaker 7: I mean, one of these coaches in summer A might
- 20:52Speaker 7: go to Gainesville and it might be flashed boom like.
- 20:54Speaker 4: And I'm basing all this off of one hundred percent
- 20:57Speaker 4: just how I just feel on the surface like you
- 21:00Speaker 4: can take all the x's and no's, you can do
- 21:01Speaker 4: all that you want. But Franklin to Virginia Tech feels right.
- 21:06Speaker 4: Somemre All to Auburn felt right to me. Summer Old
- 21:08Speaker 4: to Florida just feels a little weird to me. It
- 21:10Speaker 4: feels like it's not going to work out.
- 21:12Speaker 6: All right.
- 21:13Speaker 4: I based that off nothing. I think he's a good coach.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Didn't he say something cringe yesterday in the press conference?
- 21:18Speaker 6: I don't know. I think you did.
- 21:20Speaker 4: I think you try to make a joke yesterday about
- 21:21Speaker 4: like Lankiff and gave him permission or something to.
- 21:23Speaker 6: Go to Florida.
- 21:24Speaker 7: Oh yeah, they had conversations and they were put in
- 21:26Speaker 7: the same situation coaching their team.
- 21:27Speaker 6: Yeah, we can play that if we find that.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Wait, are you talking about John sumerl Did you see
- 21:32Speaker 5: him getting out the PJ. No, I put it in
- 21:34Speaker 5: the dock. It is the most awkward, Like he should
- 21:38Speaker 5: have rehearsed it. Oh no, he was doing the chomp
- 21:42Speaker 5: coming out the private dey.
- 21:45Speaker 6: Up or left arm up?
- 21:46Speaker 1: Right?
- 21:46Speaker 6: Didn't it? What doors? Right arms? Right arm up? If
- 21:49Speaker 6: your left arm up, it's like a backward own.
- 21:51Speaker 5: I think he went right. Okay, Paul, if you want
- 21:54Speaker 5: to pull it up, I put it in the dock
- 21:55Speaker 5: to show them because it's so awkward.
- 21:58Speaker 6: Paul, as you're pulling it up.
- 22:00Speaker 7: The coaching move outside of Lane Kiffin, you got one
- 22:03Speaker 7: for us.
- 22:07Speaker 6: I kind of like Alic Goalish at all. Yeah. I
- 22:10Speaker 6: think Golish is he coach sneaky one.
- 22:13Speaker 7: Yeah, he like he was the o C when Tennessee
- 22:16Speaker 7: was you know, hypel first gets there, they're scoring all
- 22:19Speaker 7: the points.
- 22:20Speaker 6: Uh.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Henton Hooker is a quarterback. Arkansas is higher, right yep?
- 22:27Speaker 4: Then Oklahoma State that one felt right as well.
- 22:30Speaker 7: That one's that's gonna be my Morris from North Texas State.
- 22:36Speaker 7: That's high because Oklahoma State is like is so bad
- 22:40Speaker 7: that they don't have any kind of an identity. So
- 22:42Speaker 7: it's truly going to be like a blank canvas for him.
- 22:45Speaker 7: Because he's an air raid guy, and you do need
- 22:47Speaker 7: to recruit to an air raid, so he's not gonna
- 22:50Speaker 7: have to be like, man, we got this stud running
- 22:52Speaker 7: back like they've which they've had in the past. I
- 22:55Speaker 7: mean you think about their history of running backs and
- 22:56Speaker 7: Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders and Tatum Bell and Ollie
- 23:00Speaker 7: Gordon who they just had who was a dope finalist
- 23:03Speaker 7: kind of guy.
- 23:04Speaker 5: I mean we could go on then like in his
- 23:06Speaker 5: second season, didn't he kind of or whatever season? It
- 23:08Speaker 5: was like he had that great season ye, and then
- 23:11Speaker 5: it was like yeah.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Yeah, And I'd say this kind of jokingly, but like
- 23:14Speaker 4: to your point, like from a football standpoint, their identity
- 23:17Speaker 4: was basically a mullet and that Yeah, I say that jokingly,
- 23:20Speaker 4: but like when you're head coach, it's kind of like
- 23:22Speaker 4: the only thing you really know about a football program.
- 23:26Speaker 4: That's a problem, right because they're not They're not really
- 23:28Speaker 4: doing anything of any significance. They haven't thrived in this
- 23:31Speaker 4: nil world. They've failed to adjust. And I might be
- 23:36Speaker 4: in the minority here, but like I always thought football,
- 23:39Speaker 4: college football was really exciting when Oklahoma State was really good, yeah,
- 23:43Speaker 4: and like dangerous.
- 23:44Speaker 7: It could beat anybody at any time. I could lose anybody,
- 23:46Speaker 7: but certainly could beat anybody. Yeah, I'm with you. I'm
- 23:49Speaker 7: with you almost the Oaklham State get back to to
- 23:51Speaker 7: that kind of level that they were playing. And I
- 23:53Speaker 7: think they got a really good coach. I mean he's
- 23:55Speaker 7: he played for Mike Leach. That's the coaching tree, that's
- 23:58Speaker 7: the offense that he runs.
- 24:00Speaker 6: End.
- 24:00Speaker 7: I say it often, if you're a school that can't
- 24:02Speaker 7: line up in big boy people, and they can't anymore,
- 24:06Speaker 7: then you got to do something. And I don't want
- 24:08Speaker 7: to call it gimmicky because that's disrespectful to the air
- 24:10Speaker 7: raid or the option, but you got to do something different,
- 24:14Speaker 7: and I think the air raid is perfect for a
- 24:15Speaker 7: place like Oklahoma State, certainly right now where they're at.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Look at please look at John doing the.
- 24:24Speaker 6: Oh it's so yeah, it's too too wide.
- 24:26Speaker 5: It's wide. Also, he's looking down at his feet because
- 24:30Speaker 5: he's going down steps.
- 24:31Speaker 6: He didn't want to fall I don't hate this. I
- 24:35Speaker 6: don't hate this. I feel like little too wide. It's
- 24:37Speaker 6: a little too wide.
- 24:38Speaker 4: That's a little too wide at the top, like looking
- 24:41Speaker 4: down at your feet, you definitely don't want falling down
- 24:43Speaker 4: the private jet steps would be your first move as
- 24:46Speaker 4: a head coach.
- 24:47Speaker 5: No, but maybe get off the steps. And then start
- 24:50Speaker 5: with the chompea or just chomp at the top and
- 24:53Speaker 5: it's a really hard clap that, yeah, the.
- 24:55Speaker 7: Top, then walk with I hate the Floriagators, but it's
- 24:58Speaker 7: like more here.
- 24:59Speaker 6: Yeah, you can do with your left arm and it's disrespectful.
- 25:02Speaker 4: Okay, chomp at the top of the steps while you're walking,
- 25:05Speaker 4: hand on the rail and like fist pump.
- 25:07Speaker 6: Yeah right, you don't want to be just walking, but like.
- 25:10Speaker 5: Maybe a number one, yeah, number one.
- 25:12Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 25:13Speaker 6: Florida. Yeah, I hope he stinks. John a really good coach,
- 25:20Speaker 6: But now I want Florida to be good. I've said
- 25:23Speaker 6: that a million times. I hate him, hate Florida some wrong,
- 25:28Speaker 6: I hate you right now.
- 25:29Speaker 4: I want you to be good because when I play you,
- 25:32Speaker 4: I wanted to hurt worse when we win.
- 25:34Speaker 5: I don't think that John some Roll is by you,
- 25:38Speaker 5: billy at all, like I think John Sumrall is a
- 25:40Speaker 5: great coach. But I do understand the melt from the
- 25:43Speaker 5: Florida fan base because they basically if they don't know
- 25:47Speaker 5: John's like who his resume or whatever, I can't understand
- 25:50Speaker 5: it because they literally basically got the same person, like
- 25:54Speaker 5: they got a small school Louisiana coach. And then somebody
- 25:58Speaker 5: commented on that video and the like they're even wearing
- 26:00Speaker 5: the same exact suit and everything they were. He was
- 26:03Speaker 5: wearing the same suit that Billy wore.
- 26:06Speaker 6: Mm hmm. I mean, but yeah, you gotta go with
- 26:10Speaker 6: the orange tie, Yeah you have to. What else is that?
- 26:12Speaker 5: I think John Summerll is great, but I do understand
- 26:14Speaker 5: it from their perspective if they don't know John.
- 26:18Speaker 6: I don't like.
- 26:19Speaker 4: I've only seen John in a couple of settings, usually
- 26:23Speaker 4: with that hat on, usually like in coaches, Garb. I
- 26:27Speaker 4: did not recognize him in a suit with no hat on.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Didn't look like the same person to me, which I
- 26:33Speaker 4: wear a hat all the time, so I say we
- 26:35Speaker 4: wear hats every day. If I walk around like this,
- 26:37Speaker 4: people are like, well, who's that guy? But he didn't
- 26:42Speaker 4: look as intimidating as he does like on the sideline
- 26:45Speaker 4: with his coaching, Garb. So I think you should just
- 26:47Speaker 4: embrace himself. Didn't need to wear a suit. He didn't
- 26:49Speaker 4: have to do that. Can't like me at the press
- 26:51Speaker 4: conference yesterday. So a great hoodie from old Davy. All right, Taylor,
- 26:58Speaker 4: Actually I think it's Ja Crew And yes there's still
- 27:04Speaker 4: a company who Jake Crew didn't say anything about. Jacre
- 27:07Speaker 4: said a couple of weeks ago, didn't know they're stilling business.
- 27:10Speaker 4: Oh sorry, Jake Crew, that's on me. It's my bad.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Hmhm uh. I asked this who asked this to yesterday?
- 27:21Speaker 4: I'm gonna ask the room. Let's start with Paul. Paul
- 27:26Speaker 4: Lane Kiffin is a top blank coach in the country.
- 27:34Speaker 6: That's the top five, okay, Lauder.
- 27:38Speaker 5: Yeah, top five, top five. I can't give him top
- 27:42Speaker 5: three because there are three coaches that I've won.
- 27:44Speaker 6: Ryan Da Dabo and Kirby.
- 27:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm talking about actually December.
- 27:51Speaker 7: Ye currently, you're right.
- 27:54Speaker 6: Across eight miles because he ain't in this.
- 27:57Speaker 5: Conversation on this day, right.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Yeah, smart and day they're they're one or two. Yeah right,
- 28:04Speaker 4: they've earned that, right.
- 28:06Speaker 5: I'm still gonna give them five. I can't think of
- 28:08Speaker 5: who I would put three and four, but I'm gonna
- 28:10Speaker 5: give them top five.
- 28:10Speaker 6: Yeap to do know? To be top five coaches in
- 28:14Speaker 6: the country list, yeah, break.
- 28:16Speaker 7: Yeah, let's do it. Kirby's number one. Yeah, Kirby's one
- 28:21Speaker 7: right now, so yeah, we can do that. He's top
- 28:23Speaker 7: five right now for me, right there? Yeah, I let's
- 28:25Speaker 7: say top five. Well, it's a good that'd be a
- 28:28Speaker 7: tough list to make, like.
- 28:30Speaker 6: I do that.
- 28:30Speaker 4: I do the quarterback rankings every week, and that's really
- 28:32Speaker 4: hard doing a weekly quarterback ranking. Back ranking, especially top five,
- 28:37Speaker 4: like ten, you can slide to people around and you
- 28:39Speaker 4: can get some good banter, people like disagreeing with you before,
- 28:43Speaker 4: like you know, in between like eight and six or whatever.
- 28:45Speaker 4: Like you're outside the top five, it's kind of all
- 28:48Speaker 4: jumbled into like one big mess of people. You can
- 28:52Speaker 4: go any direction, but like the top five, you like
- 28:54Speaker 4: because you got to eliminate some folks that are coaches.
- 28:57Speaker 7: Tristan, I agree. Kurt Signette's got to be in that conversation.
- 29:00Speaker 7: Top five hands made back to back playoffs at Indiana. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:05Speaker 7: last year you did with James Madison players.
- 29:08Speaker 5: Are they number one right now?
- 29:11Speaker 6: Huh? Tom Herman? Top five? God, I mean you.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Got Landing, you got I mean what el goo and
- 29:18Speaker 4: Sarcasian of both. I'm naming names on the top of
- 29:23Speaker 4: my head of top teams right now.
- 29:27Speaker 6: Mm hmm.
- 29:29Speaker 5: Bryan Day, it's Kirby Smart.
- 29:31Speaker 4: Marcus Freeman, Nope, handsome love the guy things a great dude.
- 29:36Speaker 4: Coach of Notre Dame. Sorry, Notre Dame, you're out. You're
- 29:40Speaker 4: not on any list on OTB over my dead body, all.
- 29:48Speaker 7: Right, us you feel I have a hate Notre Dame.
- 29:51Speaker 7: They're cowards, all right? We talk about this when we
- 29:55Speaker 7: come back. And also I give you kind of an
- 29:57Speaker 7: update on maybe where the Blake Bakers situation is.
- 30:00Speaker 6: Remember he interviewed for the two lane job.
- 30:02Speaker 7: Now if he doesn't take it, there was a report
- 30:04Speaker 7: yesterday he'd be retained as a defensive coordinator here and
- 30:07Speaker 7: for a short period of time it felt so good
- 30:10Speaker 7: to think of Blake Baker on the defense lane, Kiffin
- 30:13Speaker 7: on offense.
- 30:14Speaker 6: We'll have to wait and see there.
- 30:15Speaker 7: We have more OTB when we come back here live
- 30:18Speaker 7: from the Raising Kaine Studio.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Top the bench.
- 30:22Speaker 6: All right.
- 30:23Speaker 7: When your business relies on printer's copiers and document solutions
- 30:27Speaker 7: that work well, you need a partner that you can
- 30:30Speaker 7: trust to make sure that they're always working. That is
- 30:33Speaker 7: Golf Coast Office Product Seat, official office technology provider of
- 30:37Speaker 7: the LSU Tigers. Gcop delivers industry leading cannon equipment, the
- 30:41Speaker 7: fastest service response times in the region, and a local
- 30:44Speaker 7: team that actually picks up the phone when you call.

- 30:58Speaker 6: That's right.
- 30:58Speaker 4: So like in today's world, it doesn't matter what size
- 31:01Speaker 4: your business is. Your office is like it's uh, your
- 31:05Speaker 4: office cannot afford downtime. So when when that printer stops,
- 31:08Speaker 4: the copiers jam, or the scanner stop working, it slows
- 31:10Speaker 4: everything down.
- 31:11Speaker 6: If like brings business to a halt.

- 31:27Speaker 7: Come talk you.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Know girls, a little baby.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I just want to love tigers turn talkers. This is
- 31:46Speaker 1: off the bench.
- 31:56Speaker 7: We'll continue work shopping. I guess the top five because
- 31:58Speaker 7: I was told that Marcus Reeman can't be five on
- 32:00Speaker 7: my list.
- 32:01Speaker 6: No he can't. What has he done it? Back to
- 32:03Speaker 6: back to playoffs?
- 32:07Speaker 5: Is this a ot list?
- 32:09Speaker 1: Are we like?
- 32:10Speaker 6: Are you punking me right now? Where's Ashton? Where's Aston?
- 32:18Speaker 6: You're saying he's made them playoff? I think our streams
- 32:22Speaker 6: a great coach.
- 32:23Speaker 7: I think he's a good coach too, But he's I mean,
- 32:27Speaker 7: I said fifth.
- 32:28Speaker 6: He coaches at a coward school.
- 32:31Speaker 7: I mean Kirby, Ryan day Lane sigh.
- 32:35Speaker 6: Dan Lanning. Where's Dylan him on that list for top ten?
- 32:40Speaker 6: Top ten?
- 32:41Speaker 5: How recent are we going?
- 32:43Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Well, here's my question that for real, Like what do
- 32:46Speaker 4: you think about Steve Sarkisian in the g.
- 32:48Speaker 5: So that's why I was asking, because he's like a
- 32:51Speaker 5: top Maybe I'm like putting Texas into this, but like
- 32:56Speaker 5: my Texas list into it. But like I feel like
- 32:58Speaker 5: he's top five, Like he went into a ut program
- 33:02Speaker 5: that fair that was pretty much in shambles and turned
- 33:06Speaker 5: it around in like two years. Like they went to
- 33:10Speaker 5: conference championship games back to back with quinn Ewers. They
- 33:13Speaker 5: went to like the College Football Playoff twice this season,
- 33:18Speaker 5: I mean, which was more egregious than Shador going in
- 33:22Speaker 5: the fifth. But like, I think Steve Sarkisian is a
- 33:26Speaker 5: good coach. Like I think he's a great coach. And
- 33:28Speaker 5: even this season, with Art struggling in the beginning of
- 33:31Speaker 5: the season, it was too little, too late for them
- 33:33Speaker 5: to turn it on because they're nine and three now,
- 33:36Speaker 5: and you're you you're not gonna make it. But I
- 33:39Speaker 5: think Steve Sarkisian is a great.
- 33:40Speaker 6: Great point point.
- 33:42Speaker 4: And at his interview after the game too, I love
- 33:44Speaker 4: the message that he was getting out there. Yeah, because
- 33:48Speaker 4: now I don't necessarily agree with him like for this
- 33:50Speaker 4: season for his team, but the message of like, we
- 33:53Speaker 4: deserve to be in the playoffs. And of course every
- 33:55Speaker 4: coach is a salesman at this point. You're trying to
- 33:57Speaker 4: get your team in. You're trying to will them in,
- 33:59Speaker 4: make people get the court of public opinion to be
- 34:01Speaker 4: on your side with things.
- 34:02Speaker 6: And like, I agree with him one hundred percent.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Like he said, if you don't want us to schedule
- 34:06Speaker 4: these games, it's if we don't make the playoffs, it's
- 34:08Speaker 4: bad for college football. And I actually agree with that
- 34:11Speaker 4: because all these people that complain like me, like like
- 34:15Speaker 4: this is probably the one show here in Louisiana that
- 34:18Speaker 4: wants LSU to play.
- 34:19Speaker 6: Hard games, non conference games.
- 34:21Speaker 4: We do, right, And so that is exactly what Sarkisian
- 34:23Speaker 4: was trying to say, is like, look, it's bad for
- 34:25Speaker 4: college football if we don't make it, because we're getting
- 34:27Speaker 4: penalized for scheduling a hard non conference opponent right off
- 34:31Speaker 4: the bat, first game of the season, we decided, yeah,
- 34:33Speaker 4: we'll go to Ohio State.
- 34:35Speaker 6: We go to Columbus and play. They shouldn't be penalized
- 34:37Speaker 6: for that.
- 34:37Speaker 4: I one hundred percent agree because he said, if we're
- 34:39Speaker 4: sitting there, we would have scheduled a powder puff.
- 34:42Speaker 7: And don't say Jacksonville State have already disrespected them. Directional
- 34:46Speaker 7: State you yep, uh, Steven F. Austin, We'll go out. No,
- 34:53Speaker 7: that's correct, same Houston.
- 34:54Speaker 4: But like he said, if we would have won that
- 34:56Speaker 4: and we're sitting here with two losses, we're in the playoff,
- 34:59Speaker 4: no question right. And on the on the flip side
- 35:01Speaker 4: of that, it's like, well, you don't lose to Florida. Yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 4: I got all that, But still it doesn't it doesn't
- 35:07Speaker 4: minimize the comment he did make. It's bad for college
- 35:10Speaker 4: football if you get penalized for scheduling tough nine conference opponents,
- 35:14Speaker 4: which I agree with and not everyone might not agree
- 35:17Speaker 4: with that, and I don't really care, like that's.
- 35:18Speaker 6: Just my opinion. I want the best to play the best.
- 35:21Speaker 7: Yes, and the SEC is about to go to nine
- 35:24Speaker 7: conference games, and remember Herbinson said it on our show
- 35:28Speaker 7: before he said it anywhere, that tenth game is going
- 35:32Speaker 7: to have to be played against a Power four team.
- 35:35Speaker 6: That rule's not going away.
- 35:36Speaker 7: Now with the other two, you can do whatever the
- 35:38Speaker 7: hell you want to do, but that tenth game, like
- 35:41Speaker 7: you're still going to have to play one team from
- 35:43Speaker 7: the Power four. Now, that can be you know whoever.
- 35:48Speaker 7: It can be Central Florida if you want it to be.
- 35:52Speaker 7: It can be Syracuse if you want it to be.
- 35:56Speaker 7: But some of these schools LSU, Clemson, Texas, Ohio State,
- 36:00Speaker 7: Alabama played Florida State this year. They lost, right, I mean,
- 36:03Speaker 7: but that was there. That game's that that part of
- 36:05Speaker 7: it's not going away. So like you're gonna have to
- 36:08Speaker 7: still play these games. But like to his points, like okay,
- 36:11Speaker 7: so we'll go play he doesn't know the Western instead
- 36:15Speaker 7: of playing He doesn't have the leg to stand on
- 36:16Speaker 7: that argument. If everybody's doing the same thing, right, if
- 36:20Speaker 7: everybody's scheduling tough non conference but not everybody's doing that,
- 36:24Speaker 7: Aka Marcus Freeman.
- 36:29Speaker 4: I'm trying to think, who let me ask you this?
- 36:32Speaker 4: Would you rather see Texas in the playoffs or Notre Dame?
- 36:35Speaker 4: Who deserves it more?
- 36:40Speaker 6: Gotcha.
- 36:42Speaker 7: Well, I'm thinking about it. Notre Dames looked more dominant.
- 36:45Speaker 6: He wanted to like, he wanted to answer so fast,
- 36:48Speaker 6: and he's like.
- 36:49Speaker 7: No, no, I mean, goush, you canna not think about it.
- 36:51Speaker 7: Notre Dame has looked more dominant. Notre Dame doesn't have
- 36:54Speaker 7: a Florida loss on their resume, but Texas certainly has better.
- 36:57Speaker 6: Wins and them.
- 37:00Speaker 7: Yeah, they've eaten three top ten teams. No, no, I'm
- 37:05Speaker 7: I'm at home. I'm with you for sure. I'm saying
- 37:08Speaker 7: that's what the committee's answers. Well, Miami should be in
- 37:11Speaker 7: an over Notre Dame. We played in Miami one and
- 37:16Speaker 7: they have the same record. Uh and by the way,
- 37:20Speaker 7: somebody was asking who old mess played in there?
- 37:23Speaker 8: You know, have to play a power for game, I believe,
- 37:30Speaker 8: if I'm not mistaken, they got They got Bob with
- 37:33Speaker 8: a little bit of a loophole, and it was Washington
- 37:35Speaker 8: State because you played Mississippi State, Florida, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Georgia,
- 37:41Speaker 8: l s.
- 37:41Speaker 7: U Arkansas, Kentucky in the SEC. Your non com was
- 37:45Speaker 7: Georgia State. That doesn't count. Two lane, which doesn't count,
- 37:48Speaker 7: even though they're a good football team. The Citadel certainly
- 37:51Speaker 7: doesn't count, and you played Washington State, so they're counting
- 37:54Speaker 7: Washington State in a two team conference.
- 37:58Speaker 4: Everybody does need to remember, like these games are scheduled
- 38:00Speaker 4: like six, seven, eight years ahead of time.
- 38:02Speaker 6: So that's probably what loophole was. Right.
- 38:04Speaker 7: They were a PAC twelve team when it was scheduled, right,
- 38:06Speaker 7: the still are a PAC twelve team.
- 38:07Speaker 4: It's just a two teams. That's why I'm not saying
- 38:09Speaker 4: Marcus Freeman is a coward. I'm saying Notre Dame is.
- 38:11Speaker 4: Because usually it's not the head coach that's scheduling these games.
- 38:14Speaker 4: I'm sure there's some say that they have, but it's
- 38:16Speaker 4: not like, you know, Kim Molke comes in here and
- 38:17Speaker 4: talks about how she schedules the games, the none conference games.
- 38:21Speaker 6: I don't really think it's.
- 38:22Speaker 4: The head coach usually that's schedule these it's the ad
- 38:25Speaker 4: the powers that be, and because it's scheduled so far
- 38:28Speaker 4: in advance.
- 38:30Speaker 7: This comes from the United States Marine Corps. Whod at
- 38:34Speaker 7: eighty twelve shout out great name, guys. I'm a huge
- 38:37Speaker 7: fan of the show, but we cannot hear y'all when
- 38:39Speaker 7: y'all start whispering or talking low.
- 38:42Speaker 6: Just wants y'all to be aware, keep up the great work.
- 38:45Speaker 6: Maybe that's what it is.
- 38:46Speaker 7: Maybe there whispering into the way, but like we're really
- 38:48Speaker 7: talking loud. Maybe we got a really tough Yeah. I
- 38:51Speaker 7: mean you're you're a child of the theater, you got
- 38:54Speaker 7: it in your blood. Maybe we need you to be
- 38:56Speaker 7: like we need you to be over the top.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Now, there has been sometimes where people in Chad have
- 39:02Speaker 4: said we're too loud.
- 39:05Speaker 5: Maybe that's on remote, though I don't say we're too
- 39:08Speaker 5: low on remote.
- 39:10Speaker 6: We're too man. I can't I can't figure out what
- 39:13Speaker 6: pitch to use. I really have no idea. I don't know.
- 39:17Speaker 6: Should I start talking louder because I do have a
- 39:20Speaker 6: low voice.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Maybe I should be like some ex SEC quarterbacks on
- 39:25Speaker 4: TV and just use a fake voice.
- 39:26Speaker 5: I think sometimes we just kind of trail off.
- 39:29Speaker 7: Yeah, just trail off, all right, we're not pros, honestly. Okay,
- 39:37Speaker 7: we'll see if we can work with the volume levels there.
- 39:39Speaker 7: See if we change ourselves over here, allow ourselves to
- 39:43Speaker 7: change ourselves, we can do like a full segment in
- 39:46Speaker 7: full on SEC quarterback and radio voice.
- 39:51Speaker 6: Yeah, is.
- 39:53Speaker 4: His decision, and how emotional it was that wasn't very good,
- 39:57Speaker 4: not very good game show host.
- 39:59Speaker 6: That was Barker Bud.
- 40:00Speaker 5: Wait, did y'all see o Jo Cinko wanting to join
- 40:03Speaker 5: Lane staff I Batonaries would burn to the ground if
- 40:08Speaker 5: we had Lane Kiffin and or coach O.
- 40:13Speaker 7: Yeah, that's well done, well done.
- 40:17Speaker 6: Oh they want you to use the hard count voice.
- 40:19Speaker 7: That's actually a good comp there.
- 40:25Speaker 5: Take us to break in that voice.
- 40:27Speaker 6: I don't know if I can. We're going to break
- 40:33Speaker 6: off the bench loud enough.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 40:48Speaker 6: I actually like the way the Cowboys do it too.
- 40:50Speaker 7: I know, I know Taylor doesn't that everything here we
- 40:54Speaker 7: go clap, Go to Central Plumbing dot org, Cintra Plumbing

- 41:49Speaker 1: Locked in on LSU football twenty four to seven. You're
- 41:52Speaker 1: listening to off the bench.
- 41:56Speaker 7: Yah, here we go.
- 42:00Speaker 6: Is that a good?
- 42:00Speaker 7: That's pretty good cow boys? Pretty good snap count? Better
- 42:03Speaker 7: than the snapcount where you say anything.
- 42:07Speaker 4: Unfortunately, that's like the big knock I have on Lane.
- 42:12Speaker 6: That's every college coach, Bud, it's the clamp count.
- 42:15Speaker 4: Like, hey, guess that should Maybe I'll ask him that
- 42:17Speaker 4: when he comes on the show.
- 42:19Speaker 6: Ye.
- 42:19Speaker 4: Hey, like, what's the benefit to the clap count? Because
- 42:22Speaker 4: I think it's dumb.
- 42:24Speaker 6: I've been a lot advantgwer for you. Mm hmm uh.
- 42:27Speaker 6: Here was something we talked about earlier.
- 42:29Speaker 7: So this was Lane Kiffn talking about talking with his
- 42:31Speaker 7: mentors Pete Carroll and Nick Saban about what to do
- 42:34Speaker 7: in his situation.
- 42:36Speaker 3: No, coach Saban kind of coached at another place in
- 42:39Speaker 3: this commerce, so I can't I can't really say exactly
- 42:43Speaker 3: what he said, but I'll say I'll say I think
- 42:48Speaker 3: the world of coach Saban and I respect him, and
- 42:53Speaker 3: so there's a reason I'm here.
- 43:00Speaker 6: Like the smirk, Yeah, the smirk's pretty good.
- 43:02Speaker 7: It's Look, it's no secret that coach Saban loved it here, ye,
- 43:06Speaker 7: Like he wanted to come back after he was done
- 43:08Speaker 7: with the Dolphins, Like this is a place that means
- 43:11Speaker 7: a lot to him. Now he went and had incredible
- 43:15Speaker 7: success at Alabama, obviously loves Alabama too. But I mean
- 43:18Speaker 7: he has said since he retired that his one regret
- 43:21Speaker 7: was leaving this place.
- 43:23Speaker 4: Set within the last twelve months. Yeah, yeah, he said
- 43:26Speaker 4: that last spring, I think, and because he was inducted
- 43:28Speaker 4: to the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.
- 43:29Speaker 6: Yes, And that was a comment shut out jumbo.
- 43:32Speaker 4: And it's not necessarily like him saying that I regret,
- 43:37Speaker 4: you know, not staying there and going to Alabama instead,
- 43:40Speaker 4: Like it's the whole way it all planned out, and
- 43:42Speaker 4: taking that shot to go to the NFL, shooting your
- 43:45Speaker 4: shot and it not working, but certainly no secret that
- 43:49Speaker 4: he loves LSU and has a strong reverence for it
- 43:53Speaker 4: as well. But let's not forget the fact that his
- 43:57Speaker 4: name still is on a stadium in Tuscal is a
- 44:00Speaker 4: on a field and he's got a big ass statue
- 44:03Speaker 4: that somebody you know, like Flowers puts a box of
- 44:06Speaker 4: oat milk cream pies at the bottom every week. I
- 44:09Speaker 4: saw it in person. Yeah, when'd you see it? I
- 44:12Speaker 4: was there talking a little my high what with Alabama
- 44:17Speaker 4: two years ago? It was like right before and it
- 44:21Speaker 4: was right before Saban announced his retirement. Did you force
- 44:25Speaker 4: him to retire? Maybe he didn't want to be too hydrated.
- 44:28Speaker 4: That's the only smart reason you can give that makes
- 44:31Speaker 4: it okay. I just thought it was I thought that
- 44:33Speaker 4: after that comment, like, is Bama going to be burning
- 44:38Speaker 4: because of this?
- 44:39Speaker 6: No, it's not. It's not a shot at them at all.
- 44:41Speaker 4: It's just like, if the jobs available and somebody that
- 44:45Speaker 4: knows college football and should be in charge of college football,
- 44:48Speaker 4: in my opinion, made a comment and said it's a
- 44:53Speaker 4: job and two legendary coaches, and two coaches I had
- 44:56Speaker 4: the privilege playing for for at least a little while.
- 45:00Speaker 4: That he looks up to and mentor him. Both said
- 45:02Speaker 4: the same thing like, this is an opportunity that you
- 45:05Speaker 4: cannot pass up. So very cool though to hear it
- 45:09Speaker 4: come from an x L s U head coach and
- 45:13Speaker 4: the goat of all goats, nick it.
- 45:15Speaker 7: Yeah, and sound like Pete Carroll kind of said the
- 45:16Speaker 7: same thing, like, hey, you need to do this.
- 45:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 45:19Speaker 7: I never thought that would be doing a show where
- 45:21Speaker 7: I'm thinking the Raiders head coach and the former Alabama
- 45:24Speaker 7: head coach.
- 45:25Speaker 6: Yeah right, and the former coach that benched me. I
- 45:31Speaker 6: forgot about that. About that, I forgot about that. Oh no,
- 45:35Speaker 6: I mean I brought it up.
- 45:36Speaker 7: Did you like Pete?
- 45:38Speaker 6: I did until he benchmin Then I didn't like him.
- 45:40Speaker 6: What a bench? I was never came off the bench
- 45:44Speaker 6: either stuck on it.
- 45:46Speaker 7: You're still on it because that this is off the bench,
- 45:51Speaker 7: like technically that means you're on it. You hadn't gotten
- 45:53Speaker 7: off just yet, maybe right.
- 45:55Speaker 6: I don't think so.
- 45:55Speaker 4: I think we're already off the So if you were
- 45:57Speaker 4: on the bench, we're on the field right now. Okay,
- 45:59Speaker 4: maybe all right? We got you start.
