- 0:24Speaker 1: in Cranford. Larry, how you doing?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Hey? Mark? Hi? You know the parade should end with
- 0:29Speaker 2: Brunson on the last flow dressed as Santa Claus.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Oh, like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, exactly.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, I guess I don't know. He is such
- 0:43Speaker 1: a superstar. He was a Yankee stadium last night. Everybody
- 0:46Speaker 1: was like all over him. The guy is a massive story.
- 0:49Speaker 1: You're going to see him endorsing everything, making a fortune,
- 0:53Speaker 1: doing ads. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike, how
- 0:55Speaker 1: you doing? Good morning, Mark, that's Mike. It's great that
- 1:00Speaker 1: the city is honoring the Knicks. It's my third championship
- 1:04Speaker 1: in my lifetime I've gotten to see. But I do
- 1:06Speaker 1: think it's the cynic in me. It brings up the
- 1:09Speaker 1: cynic in me because Mom, Donnie and his administration are
- 1:12Speaker 1: very pro working class.
- 1:14Speaker 2: That's all they ever talk about. Yet they've made it
- 1:16Speaker 2: impossible for all millions of workers to get to work today.
- 1:19Speaker 2: And the only.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Thing they can't blame.
- 1:24Speaker 2: And the rich you're going to be the ones who
- 1:26Speaker 2: can be really, you know, all those poor people who
- 1:28Speaker 2: can't get on the floats with the rich coach folks.
- 1:31Speaker 2: It's good, So it is. There is a little bit
- 1:33Speaker 2: of irony at least.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Yeah, that's any parade. That's that's for any parade. You
- 1:37Speaker 1: can't blame mom, Donny. But I also remember everybody that
- 1:40Speaker 1: works on those office buildings and broad it was told
- 1:42Speaker 1: they have to work from home today. So they're not
- 1:44Speaker 1: too upset. They're kind of like that.
- 1:45Speaker 2: It's all the it's all the post flobs trying to
- 1:47Speaker 2: get to Brooklyn on the on the on the FDR.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And but it's great.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Be very happy to call up work and say I
- 1:55Speaker 1: can't get there, sorry, I have to work from Don't
- 1:57Speaker 1: worry to They'll be fine. Thanks for connin All right,
- 2:00Speaker 1: here's Randall from Maryland. Randall, how you doing.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Good? Mark Mark's disagreement that was just signed by Trump. Yeah,
- 2:09Speaker 2: who signs on the other side of it?
- 2:12Speaker 1: The leader what's his name? I can't remember. His name,
- 2:14Speaker 1: but there's an Iranian leader that will sign it. Was
- 2:19Speaker 1: that so hard to figure out? You can look it up,
- 2:23Speaker 1: it's easy to google. I would tell you his name,
- 2:26Speaker 1: but I can't remember it. But there's there's an Iranian
- 2:29Speaker 1: leader in charge. He will sign it.
- 2:32Speaker 2: I feel better, Okay.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Yeah, no, everybody at the worst agreement. It's just the
- 2:40Speaker 1: temporary thing. It's just it's like a fourth inning thing.
- 2:44Speaker 1: It's don't worry about it. There's a lot more that'll
- 2:46Speaker 1: play out here. Let's go to Jim in New Jersey. Jim,
- 2:50Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 2:53Speaker 2: End of a year remark? I saw very sadly. He
- 2:55Speaker 2: died the other day, one hundred years old. Jean Shallatt died. Yeah,
- 3:00Speaker 2: they already buried him in a Jewish cemetery in Cedar
- 3:03Speaker 2: and Holes, New Jersey, which I know, well, there's not
- 3:05Speaker 2: many left Mark. I was watching To Tell the Truth
- 3:07Speaker 2: the other day with Gary Moore. I know I needed.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Gillette is still around. She's eighty nine.
- 3:11Speaker 1: For those years those of you under eighty five years old.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Anita Gillette was a popular actress and singer that was
- 3:17Speaker 1: on every game show talk show in the sixties, and
- 3:20Speaker 1: she's still.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I see Claudeen. What Launay died too?
- 3:25Speaker 1: Mark?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Remember?
- 3:26Speaker 1: And those are you under eighty? She was married to
- 3:29Speaker 1: Andy Williams. She was a French singer. Who what was
- 3:33Speaker 1: the deal? She shot her?
- 3:34Speaker 2: She was going, yeah, Spider Savage, Spider Savage was that
- 3:38Speaker 2: his name?
- 3:38Speaker 1: She got away with him, shot him and got away
- 3:41Speaker 1: with it and was married to Andrew Williams. But all right,
- 3:45Speaker 1: thanks for this trip down memory lane. Hey, I'll tell
- 3:47Speaker 1: you know who did die yesterday. It was a wonderful guy,
- 3:52Speaker 1: a good comedian. His name was Tom Dreeson. Now you
- 3:55Speaker 1: probably saw him on TV a lot. Tom Dreesen Sinatra
- 3:59Speaker 1: like took him under his wing, made him his opening
- 4:01Speaker 1: act for like the last twenty years. But Dreason was
- 4:06Speaker 1: around from like the seven mid seventies. And when David Letterman,
- 4:11Speaker 1: a young kid trying to break into the show business,
- 4:14Speaker 1: went to California, when he first went to the comedy store,
- 4:17Speaker 1: first time he ever got on stage, Dreason was there.
- 4:20Speaker 1: And Dresen was a little more of a veteran. He
- 4:22Speaker 1: wasn't that big yet, but he took Letterman under his wing,
- 4:25Speaker 1: very nice to him, and right up until the end,
- 4:30Speaker 1: Letterman always had Tom Dreason on his show. He was
- 4:32Speaker 1: so grateful to him. And if you go to Letterman's
- 4:34Speaker 1: Facebook page or mine, actually I shared it, but Letterman
- 4:40Speaker 1: did quite a tribute to Tom Dreesen. He was a
- 4:43Speaker 1: big part of Chicago. That was a huge Chicago hero
- 4:47Speaker 1: and a wonderful guy. Died yesterday. He was eighty seven
- 4:51Speaker 1: years old. Hey, So throughout the day, throughout the morning,
- 4:55Speaker 1: we'll cover the parade, we'll bring you all the action.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And then the big thing is the City Hall ceremony.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I they'll start about eleven thirty or so, and eleven
- 5:04Speaker 1: thirty will bring you the whole ceremony from Sid That's
- 5:07Speaker 1: the part you want to hear. Alicia Keys is going
- 5:10Speaker 1: to perform live. The players will speak and they'll get
- 5:13Speaker 1: their trophy and all that. So we'll bring you that
- 5:15Speaker 1: live right here. You'll hear all the action right here.
- 5:19Speaker 1: When we come back, we hope to talk to Steve Moore,
- 5:22Speaker 1: the great economists, the brilliant economists. We'll talk to him
- 5:26Speaker 1: next on seven to ten wor
