- 0:12Speaker 2: You guys think I don't listen, but I do. And
- 0:15Speaker 2: what my people want, my people, matt people.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Get, and the people want the ginge. Well they wanted
- 0:22Speaker 1: the TT. They want the TT and the GG. Yeah,
- 0:25Speaker 1: they asked and I delivered. You did. Welcome. How you
- 0:28Speaker 1: feeling My voice is so hoarse, it's because you didn't
- 0:32Speaker 1: sleep here. I didn't sleep at all last night.
- 0:35Speaker 2: And as oh wann say, you sound like a man,
- 0:38Speaker 2: I feel like and I think you sound sexy. Oh yeah,
- 0:41Speaker 2: so over the break you guys during the holiday.
- 0:46Speaker 1: My mom is not what one would.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Call a healthy person, okay, like doesn't lift a finger,
- 0:52Speaker 2: doesn't like, she doesn't work out because.
- 0:53Speaker 1: She gets nauseated.
- 0:54Speaker 2: And I tell her, well, yes, because when your body
- 0:57Speaker 2: does something that it hasn't done in sixty five years,
- 1:00Speaker 2: you feel nauseous.
- 1:02Speaker 1: My movement. No, but I always felt nauseous even in
- 1:07Speaker 1: my twenties and thirties.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Because you never do it. You can't just like pick
- 1:10Speaker 2: up a wait one time and go. I don't like it.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I'm not anything it is but my breathing. I don't
- 1:16Speaker 1: think I was breathing because when I went to pilates
- 1:19Speaker 1: with you and we had to do a little bit
- 1:21Speaker 1: strenuous activity, all of a sudden I got really light headed,
- 1:25Speaker 1: and you mentioned maybe I wasn't breathing, and then I
- 1:27Speaker 1: started breathing, and then I felt better.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I fucking love you. You're a real nut. Keep in mind,
- 1:38Speaker 2: pilates is on your back. Okay, that's why I feel lightheaded.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Reformer on your back, laying the fuck down.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Anyway. Oh you're so good. I love you so much
- 1:52Speaker 1: it kills me. I think that's why I get lightheaded,
- 1:55Speaker 1: like when I'm walking up incline, because the other day
- 1:59Speaker 1: we went to Love and I had eaten, I had
- 2:02Speaker 1: my iced tea, and I started stealing a little lightheaded,
- 2:05Speaker 1: and I thought, oh, maybe I'm not breathing. So I breathed. Okay,
- 2:13Speaker 1: breaths good. That's really good. That's so good.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I'm happy about that because that's the difference between dead
- 2:20Speaker 2: and a lives. I know, you know, but who forgets
- 2:22Speaker 2: to breathe. There's a lot of things you do that
- 2:25Speaker 2: I say, wow, I know, you know what else?
- 2:29Speaker 1: I have to work on what When I'm walking most
- 2:32Speaker 1: people like swing their arms. I walk like and I
- 2:36Speaker 1: have to concentrate to swing my arms.
- 2:39Speaker 2: And then she becomes the woman from on Seinfeld where she's.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Like, is am I moving my arms good enough now?
- 2:45Speaker 1: And she like knocks all the shit off of Elaine's dust.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I feel that way, well, yes, and it is funny
- 2:52Speaker 2: and tt and I like tease you about it. But
- 2:55Speaker 2: my mom had like a meltdown in Palm Springs. She
- 2:59Speaker 2: was still upset about the way she was feeling. And
- 3:02Speaker 2: my mom and Easton had like the sweetest, most beautiful moment.
- 3:06Speaker 2: My mom was saying that she didn't like talking to
- 3:09Speaker 2: us about her health and Easton has PTSD. When it
- 3:12Speaker 2: comes to my dad not talking to us about his health,
- 3:15Speaker 2: cut to Easton wakes up, you know on April twenty first, Yes,
- 3:22Speaker 2: and my dad is you know gone.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Yeah. So Easton cried to my mom and.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Was like, you have to tell us how you're feeling
- 3:29Speaker 2: at all times, you know, we have to be able
- 3:32Speaker 2: to know what to do. And so I called doctor Rothbard,
- 3:37Speaker 2: who I love in a door.
- 3:38Speaker 1: He delivered both of my babies.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Keep in mind, you guys, my mother has not had
- 3:43Speaker 2: a mammogram.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Or been checked out by a guy. No, that's not true. Okay,
- 3:47Speaker 1: defend defend yourself. I did the mammogram here and before
- 3:53Speaker 1: I got onto you, you had not been checked. You're right,
- 3:56Speaker 1: you're right, you're right in.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Probably ten years and I said this is unaccessiable.
- 4:01Speaker 1: You need to go in and get your boobies checked.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You did that.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Next, I'm like, you haven't been to the guynecologist. Get
- 4:10Speaker 2: in there, like, these are things that are important, right.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Go.
- 4:14Speaker 2: So my mom has this idea of like I look
- 4:16Speaker 2: at all these people and I see them like moving,
- 4:18Speaker 2: and I feel like my body has failed me. I
- 4:20Speaker 2: have to remind her. I have to remind her the
- 4:23Speaker 2: people that are moving around they have doctors.
- 4:26Speaker 1: People used to.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Drop dead at like thirty five forty years old. We
- 4:30Speaker 2: now have modern day medicine.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I's such a wait to get into the doctor. Who
- 4:39Speaker 1: pointed that out to you.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I said, there's a reason why you call a
- 4:44Speaker 2: doctor and they're like, I can see you in six months.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Because people are prioritizing their health. So I think it
- 4:50Speaker 2: was great that you vented about your health.
- 4:52Speaker 1: The roomatologists today.
- 4:54Speaker 2: You did, and we got a great uh, they took
- 4:57Speaker 2: your blood.
- 4:58Speaker 1: We're going to see what happens.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Anyway, I'm so grateful you're prioritizing your health.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Me too, Okay, me too.
- 5:04Speaker 2: That's what's happening in twenty twenty six. I also want
- 5:07Speaker 2: to talk about because Bethany Frankel and this was, like
- 5:09Speaker 2: I want to say, maybe a week week and a
- 5:11Speaker 2: half ago, posted a reel about a bacterial infection that
- 5:18Speaker 2: she got. You guys, OMG, I have to tell you,
- 5:21Speaker 2: guys a story. So I wake up one morning and
- 5:26Speaker 2: I look at my body and there's like what looks
- 5:29Speaker 2: to be little bites and it's It starts on my
- 5:32Speaker 2: chest and on my back. I text doctor Diamond and
- 5:36Speaker 2: I'm like, I need a prescription.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I'm like having PTSD. I love PTSD. That's what I've
- 5:41Speaker 1: said it twice already. We're all just struggling. No, don't
- 5:45Speaker 1: take me back.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I was like, I need a prescription. I am breaking out.
- 5:49Speaker 2: It's on my chest, it's on my back. Throughout the day,
- 5:53Speaker 2: it starts spreading all yeah you know mom oh it
- 5:57Speaker 2: was gnarly, yeah, all over my body. And I'm like,
- 6:01Speaker 2: this is freaking weird. I thought that maybe I brought
- 6:03Speaker 2: like a sand mite home from uh Hawaii and.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Cut to like the next day. They keep spreading and
- 6:12Speaker 1: they're becoming bigger and weird. This happened and itchy.
- 6:19Speaker 2: This happened, I want to say on a Saturdays when
- 6:23Speaker 2: it started. By Monday, you guys, I was broken out
- 6:28Speaker 2: neck to ankle in full blown discussing.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm going to call it what it is. Boils. They
- 6:35Speaker 1: were fucking boils. Yeah, disgusting.
- 6:38Speaker 2: When I look down at some of them, they were
- 6:40Speaker 2: getting so massive trigger warning that they were like oozing.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I was like, I am patient zero, what is going on?
- 6:48Speaker 2: I go to the emergency room. The woman comes in
- 6:50Speaker 2: a hazmat suit. No one will enter the room unless
- 6:54Speaker 2: they're fully covered.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yep, they like lance, some of them. Is that what
- 6:58Speaker 1: it's called? To get this stuff out of them to
- 7:01Speaker 1: send off to a lab.
- 7:03Speaker 2: It comes back as there's no bacterial infection. Originally people
- 7:09Speaker 2: were like, it's either chicken pox, monkey pox, staff infection.
- 7:13Speaker 2: You know, you talk to your friends and they come
- 7:14Speaker 2: up with a plethora of all the things that are
- 7:16Speaker 2: wrong with you.
- 7:17Speaker 1: It came back as everything was negative.
- 7:19Speaker 2: They said, we recommend you go to your dermatologists, like
- 7:24Speaker 2: as quickly as you can, because they specialize in skin, like,
- 7:28Speaker 2: we're just here to make sure you're not going to die.
- 7:30Speaker 1: You're not going to die. I thought I was going
- 7:32Speaker 1: to die. They biopsy one, They take like the juiciest
- 7:36Speaker 1: guy on the back of my arm. It was disgusting. Yeah,
- 7:40Speaker 1: it was like a plug like they.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Stamped it and pulled that little motherfucker ride out of
- 7:46Speaker 2: my arm, stitched it up, send it off. I get
- 7:50Speaker 2: the results back from the biopsy. They put me on
- 7:53Speaker 2: a steroid, two steroid creams, an antibiotic, and a steroid oral.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I was worried about scarring. Durham told me, don't worry
- 8:03Speaker 2: about scarring, Like, you're fine. Biopviously comes back and it's
- 8:06Speaker 2: most consistent with what looked like a rare reaction to
- 8:11Speaker 2: a bug bite. Yeah, so mine was not bacterial like
- 8:14Speaker 2: Bethany frankles, but apparently this is.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Like a lot. And then you had a friend that also, yeah,
- 8:21Speaker 1: I'm not a friend full vacation and got the same thing,
- 8:24Speaker 1: the same exact thing. I don't know what is going on.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Bethany's she said, was bacterial. Me and my friend's wife,
- 8:31Speaker 2: we both got bug bites apparently, But I'm telling you,
- 8:34Speaker 2: I was scarred. Like I complain all the time about
- 8:37Speaker 2: the little tiny veins in my legs that I got
- 8:39Speaker 2: after my second baby.
- 8:41Speaker 1: It's from carrying excessive weight. Don't love that.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I was like, what I would give to just have
- 8:46Speaker 2: the little baby veins to be worried about.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Like now I look like I'm carrying something not good,
- 8:52Speaker 1: But it's going away. It's gone. And like I told you,
- 8:56Speaker 1: thank god it didn't spread to your face. Say god,
- 9:00Speaker 1: you know there's always a silver lining bug bite and all.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Well, And I kept telling people, I'm like, yes, it's
- 9:07Speaker 2: great that I'm not gonna die, got it, But like
- 9:11Speaker 2: the vanity portion of it, I was like, oh my.
- 9:14Speaker 1: God, speaking a vanity portion. Oh yeah, you got some
- 9:18Speaker 1: big stuff coming up. I've got some boobs stuff coming up, guys.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'm getting new boobs.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yes, I got them done in twenty twenty two, and
- 9:29Speaker 2: I got them done by amazing doctors.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I loved them.
- 9:34Speaker 2: My second baby Sosa like wreaked havoc on my body,
- 9:37Speaker 2: Like between my stomach that's a little lucy goosey depending
- 9:40Speaker 2: on the way I move. Again, Thankful for the bounce
- 9:43Speaker 2: back and the baby. She's beautiful and you know, my
- 9:46Speaker 2: body created life.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Love that part.
- 9:49Speaker 2: But my boobs, my right one is like concaved on
- 9:53Speaker 2: one side and is working its way up to the
- 9:55Speaker 2: collar bone. Your new boob job is a medical necessity.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Yeah it is.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And if you guys, what am I talking about? Of
- 10:03Speaker 2: course you guys listen to the podcast regularly. When I
- 10:05Speaker 2: had Terry debro on, I had Heather on and Terry
- 10:09Speaker 2: popped in and we talked about how it's capsular contracture,
- 10:15Speaker 2: which means your body starts to fight off the implant.
- 10:18Speaker 2: And I know you guys, most of you are gonna
- 10:20Speaker 2: be like, then you shouldn't have implants. I'm sorry, I
- 10:22Speaker 2: refuse to have my nipples down to my belly button. Okay,
- 10:25Speaker 2: I'm not about to look like Ezma from Freaking the
- 10:29Speaker 2: Emperor's New Groove. You're tripping, Okay, it's not happening. But
- 10:36Speaker 2: in the fucking implants, I don't care if my body rejects.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I have new implants too, exactly.
- 10:45Speaker 2: So I'm going to a doctor that specializes in this condition.
- 10:50Speaker 1: And she is a plastic surgeon.
- 10:53Speaker 2: A lot of her patients, though, have had double mass
- 10:56Speaker 2: ectomies and our breast.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Cancer survived, she's world redown, she's world renowned. And I
- 11:03Speaker 1: feel like it's more like you said, like restructuring it.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Well, the bottom line is, like they said, you have
- 11:09Speaker 2: to have that scar tissue cleaned down, Like they're they're
- 11:11Speaker 2: putting a solution in to like clean it out. I
- 11:15Speaker 2: have a hammock in one of them that needs replacing,
- 11:17Speaker 2: which is on my left. But they're basically doing reconstructive
- 11:21Speaker 2: surgery and I'm going to go in and they're going
- 11:25Speaker 2: to use technology to show like what size would look best.
- 11:29Speaker 2: But ultimately, like this is something that I have to
- 11:31Speaker 2: get done right. The longer I keep these implants in
- 11:35Speaker 2: the right one is going to continue to build scar tissue.
- 11:37Speaker 1: It's going to continue to push.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Towards the center of my chest and up towards my collarbone.
- 11:42Speaker 2: So again for vanity purposes, I'm very excited because my
- 11:47Speaker 2: boobs are not something. Again, they fed two babies. I'm
- 11:50Speaker 2: very happy about that, but I just don't feel confident
- 11:53Speaker 2: with them. And the other side is, you know, the
- 11:57Speaker 2: health concern.
- 11:58Speaker 3: So I'm excited to have my new boots, as you
- 12:03Speaker 3: should be at least is getting a new hip, Yes,
- 12:06Speaker 3: getting hip surgery because it's rotted.
- 12:10Speaker 1: We're about to be brand new. I'm ready. Oh you
- 12:14Speaker 1: know what we should talk about how great our massages were.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Oh you. I don't know about you, guys, but I
- 12:21Speaker 2: have the worst like tech nek. I walk her around
- 12:25Speaker 2: like this, and my shoulders are pretty much up to
- 12:28Speaker 2: my ears.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Mine too, Yeah, mine too. And I couldn't move my
- 12:31Speaker 1: right arm and my hand didn't work since my massage.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Game changer. Game changer. She's breathing, she can move her arms.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Oh.
- 12:41Speaker 1: The masseuse taught me how to breathe to again she did? Yeah,
- 12:45Speaker 1: what she did? Have you hold your stomach. She had
- 12:47Speaker 1: recount to eight and exhale and then push on my
- 12:51Speaker 1: abdomen to release all of the my breaths. That's great
- 12:57Speaker 1: while doing exercises. You should do that every night. Oh,
- 13:01Speaker 1: I do breath exercise it I do good.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I wanted to talk about getting Ocean into preschool and
- 13:19Speaker 2: what a freaking nightmare you and I were. We weren't
- 13:22Speaker 2: a nightmare, but we just sobbed you guys at our meeting.
- 13:26Speaker 2: So getting your child into preschool out here is like
- 13:30Speaker 2: getting them into Harvard Law School. It's like the craziest
- 13:35Speaker 2: experience I've ever heard.
- 13:36Speaker 1: My thing is they're interviewing you to see if they're
- 13:39Speaker 1: going to pick you. I love where this is going.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Let's get her into school, let's get her into it.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I don't love where this is going at all.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I will say the rest.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Once we're in, just say whatever you want, but for now,
- 13:54Speaker 2: shut the fuck up. Anyway, Lisa and I they're like,
- 13:57Speaker 2: tell us about ocean, and the two of us will
- 14:00Speaker 2: at each other and just sob She's masaal drama BT,
- 14:06Speaker 2: Like these people think we're insane. They're no one's gonna
- 14:09Speaker 2: have us come. They're gonna be like, don't have them
- 14:11Speaker 2: in the school. Because they appear and you ask them
- 14:13Speaker 2: one question about ocean, they just start sobbing.
- 14:15Speaker 1: No, that's love, it is. I think it's kind of
- 14:19Speaker 1: a little unhinged. I think it's love, Like we love
- 14:23Speaker 1: her so much.
- 14:25Speaker 2: What's that emotional? Yeah, we're very emotional about ocean. But
- 14:29Speaker 2: it is wild that she's now going to be in school.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Like I have a five year old and when she
- 14:36Speaker 2: talks to me, like my mom and I are good cop,
- 14:39Speaker 2: bad cop. Yes, there are many times I have to
- 14:41Speaker 2: play both, but like you're a good cop at all, times. Yeah,
- 14:46Speaker 2: and you get through to her because she and I
- 14:47Speaker 2: can go toes at times where we're both.
- 14:49Speaker 1: That I get stern when I need to be stern,
- 14:52Speaker 1: like to get her to brush her teeth and get
- 14:54Speaker 1: her jammies on. Like I take on a little bit
- 14:58Speaker 1: of that role. What are you talking about?
- 15:01Speaker 2: I'm not saying that you take her to like have
- 15:03Speaker 2: candy and dinn.
- 15:04Speaker 1: No, I know, but I'm just saying I feel like
- 15:07Speaker 1: I've taken on a little bit of that too.
- 15:09Speaker 2: You have, but you go in and you say, if
- 15:12Speaker 2: you don't brush your teeth, I'm gonna have to tell
- 15:14Speaker 2: your mom. That's a good cap, bad cop mom. That's
- 15:16Speaker 2: what that means.
- 15:18Speaker 1: No, that's called good cop, bad cop. What are you
- 15:21Speaker 1: talking about? Okay, what are you saying? You've taken on
- 15:25Speaker 1: that role? Yes, you're you're the co parent, right, but
- 15:28Speaker 1: I'm usually really sweet and I've taken on more of
- 15:31Speaker 1: us stern approach. Sometimes.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Yes, you guys, she says, brush your teeth, it's very stern.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Are you talking about?
- 15:40Speaker 2: All I'm saying is I like the fact that, like
- 15:43Speaker 2: when ocean is not because she and I are like
- 15:45Speaker 2: this at times, Yes, that I can punt.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Her to you. Yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 15:52Speaker 2: And she's getting to that age where I feel like
- 15:54Speaker 2: she's she has this voice. I mean, last night was
- 15:57Speaker 2: a fucking nightmare and you know it.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I do know. And I had to.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Pun her to my mom because I was ready to
- 16:02Speaker 2: go season four vander Pump Rules on her ass.
- 16:04Speaker 1: I was like, oh, no, but she would have. You
- 16:08Speaker 1: would have met your match last night with her. I
- 16:10Speaker 1: had met it. I met it, yeah, and I did
- 16:14Speaker 1: not like it at all.
- 16:15Speaker 2: No, So I'm trying to figure out this way because
- 16:18Speaker 2: she hasn't acted that way in so long.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I think she was overly tired. She gets overly tired.
- 16:24Speaker 2: She gets that way, I know, and thank god, because
- 16:27Speaker 2: I felt so guilty after I checked her, and you
- 16:30Speaker 2: guys know what I mean by checked her, it was like,
- 16:32Speaker 2: if you freaking talk to me like that one more time,
- 16:36Speaker 2: take it everything.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Your playroom is going to be empty. Stroller, she lost
- 16:40Speaker 1: her roomy costumes and she lost.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, when you throw a stroller down my freshly carpeted stairs.
- 16:47Speaker 1: She no longer get. She just pushed it. Are you
- 16:50Speaker 1: defending her? I'm not defending, but she didn't throw it
- 16:53Speaker 1: down the stairs. She pushed it. To see what it
- 16:55Speaker 1: would do. Oh, that's curiosity killed the cat.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and I was not happy about it. And then
- 17:02Speaker 2: she was lippy, so she lost all of her roomy costumes.
- 17:05Speaker 2: And then she continue to tell me that when she
- 17:07Speaker 2: gots the hot sauce in her mouth, she's gonna burn
- 17:10Speaker 2: me up. I was just like enough already, that room
- 17:13Speaker 2: is gonna be cleared out. You're not gonna have one
- 17:15Speaker 2: toy in there.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:17Speaker 2: So then I feel guilty, so I put her in
- 17:19Speaker 2: my bed because we clarify, we.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Don't really do the hot sauce. It's a just a
- 17:24Speaker 1: tactic to try and get her to do things.
- 17:26Speaker 2: You go obviously, well, I know, but no, everything I
- 17:29Speaker 2: do is a bluff. That's why she doesn't listen to me,
- 17:32Speaker 2: because I'm a constant threat and no fault.
- 17:34Speaker 1: But once you mentioned the bars that they were going
- 17:37Speaker 1: bye bye, if she said one more word.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and she lost the iPad too, That was right.
- 17:42Speaker 2: That was the other thing that I took. No, I've
- 17:44Speaker 2: never like putts out people.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Not everyone knows, but everyone knows I would never actually
- 17:49Speaker 1: do that.
- 17:50Speaker 2: But like she knew, I would never do that, which
- 17:53Speaker 2: is why the rebuttal was put hot saus in my mouth.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Becase I'm gonna burn your ass up. She didn't say asked,
- 17:58Speaker 1: but I was like, just going to come out. I
- 18:01Speaker 1: put her in my bed. You guys that moe? Yeah,
- 18:03Speaker 1: she did.
- 18:04Speaker 2: So then I broke her little imagination by telling her
- 18:06Speaker 2: dragons aren't even real.
- 18:08Speaker 1: You know what, My kids were so easy, you really were.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I think maybe you blocked it out disassociate. Maybe I
- 18:15Speaker 1: don't know, but I know, but I feel like Ocean's easy.
- 18:19Speaker 1: She just gets slippy.
- 18:21Speaker 2: But I I know for a fact I was like
- 18:24Speaker 2: that as a kid.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Well, I had a teenager. Do you remember with your
- 18:29Speaker 1: your ewet iPhone in the pool? Yeah, when you threw
- 18:33Speaker 1: my eye. Well, she had wrapped her. It was new too,
- 18:37Speaker 1: wasn't it.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Well, yeah, and this is back when the iPhone had
- 18:40Speaker 2: just come out, and you had to give the like
- 18:42Speaker 2: or AT and T to get the iPhone, so any
- 18:45Speaker 2: other network that you were with you had to go and.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Have it like unlocked. So we'd gone to do and
- 18:51Speaker 1: then you put on the side of the pool and
- 18:53Speaker 1: you put your towel over it. Well, I went to
- 18:55Speaker 1: sit down and I wanted to shake the towel out,
- 18:58Speaker 1: and it flipped into the pool and then the guy
- 19:01Speaker 1: that you were dating at that time called it. Oh
- 19:05Speaker 1: I remember him.
- 19:06Speaker 2: He goes, oh lah, and I went instead of an iPhone, and.
- 19:10Speaker 1: I was so furious at my mom.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I think I hugged the phone at the dashboard on
- 19:14Speaker 2: the way home, and she was.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Like pulled the car over and was going to make
- 19:17Speaker 1: her get out. I really wasn't on the freeway. I'm fifteen.
- 19:21Speaker 1: It's no joke, but at fifteen, no joke. Anyway, we
- 19:25Speaker 1: drove home and I treated her like a child and
- 19:28Speaker 1: told her boyfriend he had to go home because she
- 19:30Speaker 1: was grounded. Well, we were children. We were seventeen and
- 19:35Speaker 1: fucking like jack rabbits. So best time of my life.
- 19:42Speaker 2: So anyway, anyway, now that's an eye I'll tell you what.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Anyway movie right along, And anytime Lala would lose her
- 19:59Speaker 1: like lose her cool or get upset, so daily do
- 20:02Speaker 1: you go like this? He knew how to handle me.
- 20:05Speaker 1: That's for sure.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Still the most how sad at thirty five, I'm like,
- 20:08Speaker 2: when I was seventeen, I had a very productive relationship,
- 20:12Speaker 2: very healthy and mature. Thirty five I'm like, oh my god,
- 20:15Speaker 2: I've lost all sense of self and what I deserve truly,
- 20:21Speaker 2: you guys, I had a moment the other day with you, mom. Yeah,
- 20:26Speaker 2: and I was actually disappointed in myself when this happened,
- 20:30Speaker 2: because for however many years I've sworn off men.
- 20:35Speaker 1: We all know that, and I've had it.
- 20:37Speaker 2: No, you've also sworn off men, but granted your husband died.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Well, when you have the best, you kind, it's easy
- 20:42Speaker 1: to kind of swear off the rest. You're like doctor
- 20:46Speaker 1: SEUs of love.
- 20:47Speaker 2: I know.
- 20:53Speaker 1: You're right in the car.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, And when you've had the worst, you tend
- 20:57Speaker 2: to run away from men in general.
- 21:00Speaker 1: So I had the best, you had the worst.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:04Speaker 1: No, we need a happy meal medium for the love
- 21:06Speaker 1: of God, give me the gray.
- 21:09Speaker 2: But I had this moment of like, I'm going to
- 21:13Speaker 2: open myself up to love again. I've talked to you
- 21:16Speaker 2: guys about it, just like venturing into twenty twenty six,
- 21:19Speaker 2: Like I don't want to be guarded.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I want to know that like.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I can still have the life I want and also
- 21:23Speaker 2: welcome like a really good guy.
- 21:26Speaker 1: And I was watching a clip.
- 21:31Speaker 2: From An Unlikely Affair, the new podcast that I have
- 21:36Speaker 2: with Amber, and it was I think me talking about
- 21:39Speaker 2: how I had like, and I told you this in
- 21:43Speaker 2: your response when I told you about this clip, because
- 21:45Speaker 2: you and I talked about it, you go, oh my,
- 21:48Speaker 2: you like read for your coffee. Anyway, I told I
- 21:50Speaker 2: was I'm telling you guys a conversation I had with
- 21:53Speaker 2: my mom. So I looked at this this clip and
- 21:56Speaker 2: then I knew that it was picked up as an
- 21:58Speaker 2: article where they, you know, think of that I had
- 22:01Speaker 2: masturbated to Amber when I was pregnant right with Ocean,
- 22:06Speaker 2: And I had this moment of like, I don't I'm
- 22:09Speaker 2: finally open to finding somebody, and like, who would ever
- 22:14Speaker 2: want to like date me? Like if this is like
- 22:17Speaker 2: what they're seeing and you know who's mom or family
- 22:21Speaker 2: would ever be like, yeah, dater. She seems like a
- 22:24Speaker 2: great girl, Like if Easton told me, like.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I really like this girl, and I googled her.
- 22:30Speaker 2: And I saw all of the things that were written
- 22:32Speaker 2: about me, but they were written about her.
- 22:34Speaker 1: I would say, you're not bringing this woman home. She's insane.
- 22:40Speaker 2: And I literally had a moment of being like, Okay,
- 22:43Speaker 2: well I need to like I need to be more filtered,
- 22:46Speaker 2: I need to do this.
- 22:47Speaker 1: And I checked myself so quickly.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I'm like, you are thinking about making a massive change,
- 22:53Speaker 2: which let's call it what it is. The way that
- 22:56Speaker 2: I am and have been is I'm not an actress.
- 23:02Speaker 2: No one's giving me a script like who I am
- 23:04Speaker 2: has quite literally built the life that I have that
- 23:07Speaker 2: I'm very proud of, right, and I am willing to
- 23:11Speaker 2: toss that and make all of these changes.
- 23:14Speaker 1: You're trying to make concessions and it's like why well,
- 23:17Speaker 1: and you said that to me.
- 23:18Speaker 2: You were like, Lauren, if a guy comes into your
- 23:21Speaker 2: life and let's just say he reads that you masturbated
- 23:24Speaker 2: to cure ex's ex wife, I was like, as it's coming.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Out of your mouth, I'm like, yeah, I'm fucking nuts.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I'm fucking second.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Insane, Like if you have to find someone who's gonna
- 23:38Speaker 2: let you be who you are?
- 23:40Speaker 1: But totally, but that.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Was like kind of a tough pill to swallow, to
- 23:44Speaker 2: be like, I may not find someone because I think
- 23:46Speaker 2: I'm too off my rocker.
- 23:48Speaker 1: No, you're not. Really, No, You're gonna find that special
- 23:52Speaker 1: someone who loves the fact that you masturbate to their exes. Well,
- 23:57Speaker 1: some guys are into that, so there you go. Really, yeah,
- 24:03Speaker 1: I love your mom. No, but I'm like, what is this.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Why would I ever think that way?
- 24:11Speaker 2: Why would I ever think about making I'm like, okay,
- 24:13Speaker 2: now we've gone too far. I'm like, we've opened ourselves
- 24:16Speaker 2: up to love, and now we're thinking about like I'm
- 24:18Speaker 2: going to change who I am for a man who
- 24:20Speaker 2: doesn't exist yet, but for the potential love interest that
- 24:23Speaker 2: comes into my life.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I'm sweating thinking about it right now. Well, it's absurd
- 24:28Speaker 1: googling me and seeing that. So they say it lucky them.
- 24:32Speaker 1: You're right, lucky them. She's a bag of fun. I
- 24:41Speaker 1: hope your mom likes me. And you've gone through all
- 24:45Speaker 1: these valleys and hills and you're a changed person on
- 24:48Speaker 1: your own from not drinking anymore. Like you've made so
- 24:52Speaker 1: many concessions on your terms, and that's how it should be,
- 24:55Speaker 1: is on your terms. Do you think that people will
- 24:57Speaker 1: be able to look.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Past like because I still have a pretty outrageous mouth.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I think a lot of times it's for like shock
- 25:07Speaker 2: value and things like that.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I think you can be spicy, but I think I
- 25:12Speaker 1: can be spicy. It's okay, it's okay, yeah you, but
- 25:17Speaker 1: I have you. And if they're if they leave, then
- 25:20Speaker 1: it's their loss. Goodbye.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Oh my god, I love that you just said that.
- 25:25Speaker 2: My mom always says it's your loss. And there was
- 25:27Speaker 2: a day that Ocean told me some girls were being
- 25:29Speaker 2: mean to her, and I go, they don't want to
- 25:31Speaker 2: play with you.
- 25:32Speaker 1: You tell them it is your loss. She comes home,
- 25:35Speaker 1: she goes.
- 25:35Speaker 2: I told so and so to get lost today. I go, Ocean,
- 25:38Speaker 2: that is so rude, and she goes, you.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Told me to say it. Mom, you told me to
- 25:43Speaker 1: say that to them.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I was like, oh, she thought I told them to
- 25:47Speaker 2: get lost, and I told her that it's their loss.
- 25:50Speaker 1: But it's fine. I'm like you here a savage. Yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 1: good for you.
- 25:54Speaker 2: And I think there are times though that I forget
- 25:56Speaker 2: that where it's like I will be so convicted when
- 26:02Speaker 2: it comes to if you don't like me exactly like
- 26:06Speaker 2: this is, then like be gone. But then there are
- 26:10Speaker 2: moments where all look in the mirror and think about
- 26:14Speaker 2: all the things that I need to change, whether it's
- 26:17Speaker 2: internally on the outside, and I have these moments of weakness.
- 26:22Speaker 2: And I don't know where that comes from, but I'm
- 26:25Speaker 2: telling you that moment thinking listing all the ways I
- 26:28Speaker 2: need to change in order for someone to come into
- 26:31Speaker 2: my life. I understand, but I'm trying to and I
- 26:36Speaker 2: know how you feel like it's asinine and it's their loss.
- 26:40Speaker 2: But I think you have a very specific way of
- 26:43Speaker 2: looking at life and you're very much.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Cut and dry. I am cutting dry.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Like when people are like her mom's the best, but
- 26:51Speaker 2: lawless do this, I'm like, my mom is fucking cutthroat,
- 26:54Speaker 2: like she will be done with you and not think
- 26:57Speaker 2: a thing about it.
- 26:58Speaker 1: It doesn't to talk, not at all.
- 27:01Speaker 2: So when I have these conversations, she looks at me
- 27:03Speaker 2: like I'm crazy, and I'm like, okay, I need you
- 27:05Speaker 2: to go believe.
- 27:06Speaker 1: But I had friendships that are thirty forty fifty years
- 27:11Speaker 1: in the making that I still hang on to. What
- 27:15Speaker 1: are you talking about? Like I'm saying that when I
- 27:19Speaker 1: clean out my closet of friends, I have a lot
- 27:23Speaker 1: of friends that I've still had forever. But I've also
- 27:26Speaker 1: cleaned out my closet. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you have friends
- 27:31Speaker 1: that you have had for that long. Yeah, Like Jamie
- 27:34Speaker 1: is how since the seventh grade? Okay, so what fifty years?
- 27:39Speaker 1: Sixty five? Sixty five? Baby, Yeah, you better work, bitch.
- 27:44Speaker 2: But then you have another friend where it was like
- 27:47Speaker 2: we've known each other since the seventh grade, and I
- 27:50Speaker 2: think I'm done here. Yeah, don't come for the paper,
- 27:54Speaker 2: you know, no, no, no, A very hard to get here.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Don't come for my family, and don't come for how
- 28:02Speaker 2: I provide for my family. Or we're like fucking done here.
- 28:07Speaker 2: You do wish that I would stop saying the F
- 28:09Speaker 2: word a lot. I say the F word so much
- 28:11Speaker 2: it feels so good. Oh.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Also big news, This is huge news, you guys.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I'm going to admit Hi, I'm La La and I'm
- 28:32Speaker 2: a vapor and I have to give it up for
- 28:34Speaker 2: my boob job.
- 28:35Speaker 1: They called me and they were tell me and I
- 28:38Speaker 1: was like, oh, yeah, I vape. Nasty nasty habit that is.
- 28:42Speaker 2: And they were like, no, like in all seriousness, you
- 28:46Speaker 2: have to quit a month before your surgery.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Or you can't have it. They said, yeah, pretty much.
- 28:51Speaker 2: They were like, it affects so many different things with
- 28:54Speaker 2: the nicotine, and also you cannot pick it up after
- 28:57Speaker 2: because it will really really.
- 29:00Speaker 1: In fact your healing process.
- 29:01Speaker 2: So I ordered a bag of Jelly Bellies popcorn flavor
- 29:05Speaker 2: because that's my favorite and that's what I will be
- 29:07Speaker 2: popping instead of vaping.
- 29:09Speaker 1: So they were on the counter last night in ocean song,
- 29:12Speaker 1: and she goes, what are these? And I go, it's
- 29:14Speaker 1: your mom's medicine. And she goes, because it's kind of
- 29:18Speaker 1: your medicine for getting off the babe. Yeah, you're not
- 29:20Speaker 1: telling her that. She goes, if this is candy, Gigi,
- 29:24Speaker 1: I know it's candy. Did she want one? Of course
- 29:26Speaker 1: she wanted one. I told her they're popcorn flavor. It's
- 29:29Speaker 1: her least favorite flavor. She tried what she loves, popcorn,
- 29:35Speaker 1: animal popcorn.
- 29:36Speaker 2: She doesn't like this artificial jelly belly popcorn flavor.
- 29:39Speaker 1: No. I gave it to her and she was repulsed
- 29:41Speaker 1: by it, and I was like, oh, this is excellent. Great.
- 29:43Speaker 2: I know when I told her that the jelly bellies
- 29:45Speaker 2: I got were popcorn flavor, she wanted no part.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I got popcorn flavored rice cakes because I thought she'd
- 29:52Speaker 1: like them. Oh delicious? Did she like? I don't know,
- 29:56Speaker 1: but I ate them. They were delicious. Learn to so.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Good?
- 30:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, now we're talking. We're in freaking business. I
- 30:08Speaker 1: loved having you on the pod today. Mom.
- 30:10Speaker 2: I'm really glad the doctor's appointment has steered you into
- 30:12Speaker 2: making healthier choices better jam Okay, I love you so
- 30:18Speaker 2: much it kills me. You guys, if you have questions
- 30:20Speaker 2: for the gig, I definitely want to have her back on.
- 30:23Speaker 2: If you have them for the G T T, please
- 30:25Speaker 2: write them in. I've seen your guys' comments. I loved
- 30:29Speaker 2: having guests, by the way, but there is nothing like
- 30:32Speaker 2: uh my family as guests. I think that you're very
- 30:35Speaker 2: interesting to talk to. Look at her, she keeps staring
- 30:38Speaker 2: at her cookie, like, wrap it up, grab it up.
- 30:40Speaker 2: But I want this in my mouth, wrap it up,
- 30:42Speaker 2: so I'm gonna wrap it up.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I love you, guys. I'll catch you on Monday for
- 30:44Speaker 1: the bonus and again next week. Bye.
