• 0:05
20225 uh your two-minute play of the day
• 0:07
for applying God's word in your life so
• 0:10
let's huddle up and hear God's word uh
• 0:12
from 1 Corinthians 4 which says
• 0:15
  therefore judge nothing before the
• 0:17
appointed time wait until the Lord comes
• 0:20
he will bring to light what is hidden in
• 0:21
darkness and will expose the motives of
• 0:24
the heart at that time each will receive
• 0:27
their praise before God now brothers and
• 0:29
sisters I've appointed these things to
• 0:31
myself at apollis for your benefit so
• 0:33
that you may learn from us the meaning
• 0:35
of the saying do not go beyond to what
• 0:38
is written then you will not be puffed
• 0:40
up and being a follower of one of us or
• 0:43
over against the other for who makes you
• 0:45
different from anyone else what do you
• 0:48
have that you did not receive and if you
• 0:49
did receive it why do you boast as
• 0:52
  though you did
• 0:53
not a friend recently told me of his
• 0:56
  experiences in his new neighborhood
• 0:58
there are many Christians who live there
• 0:59
and they frequently have gett togethers
• 1:01
that include alcohol he's been learning
• 1:03
about whiskey and bourbon and even
• 1:05
drinking some when previously he had
• 1:07
nothing to do with alcohol I enjoy a
• 1:10
cigar on the golf course and post a
• 1:12
picture always with my boys in my cigar
• 1:14
during our round on social media neither
• 1:17
alcohol nor cigars are condemned in the
• 1:19
  scripture but many Christians condemn
• 1:22
those who engage in these things they've
• 1:24
gone beyond what is written drunkenness
• 1:27
is condemned and smoking does lead to
• 1:29
poor health so not engaging in these
• 1:32
things is probably more helpful for the
• 1:34
body which is the dwelling place of the
• 1:36
holy spirit yet we are not made Holy by
• 1:40
what we can't do or don't do but by what
• 1:42
we do that causes God to reward us with
• 1:45
his praise doing God's will the Great
• 1:48
Commission is the mission of every
• 1:50
Christian what matters most is leading
• 1:52
people to Jesus and helping people grow
• 1:55
more into the image of Jesus doing these
• 1:57
PE things by loving people's sacrif
• 1:59
  officially and unconditionally the way
• 2:02
Jesus loves us enduring Pro persecution
• 2:05
from those who hate God while suffering
• 2:08
judgment from those who claim to know
• 2:10
God is part of the process of the
• 2:12
Christian Life just as Jesus suffered at
• 2:15
the hands of the righteous the Jews and
• 2:17
the unrighteous the Romans Paul too
• 2:20
suffered and was judged by those who
• 2:22
claimed to be doing God's Will and those
• 2:24
who oppose the will of God the scripture
• 2:27
makes clear how we are to live and what
• 2:28
we are to do that should be our Focus
• 2:31
sarily we're to love everyone while
• 2:33
helping everyone love God most and first
• 2:36
then all of us will stand before him to
• 2:38
be judged by our deeds those which were
• 2:40
determined by his will or our own
