SPEAKER_00: Now, most Christians, most Christians, um, you know, it's like I have a prayer life and then I have my life, right?

SPEAKER_00: I have my prayer life, you know, what I do with God, my spiritual habits and all that stuff, then I have real life.

SPEAKER_00: I know we do all that prayer stuff, but be real, okay?

SPEAKER_00: But when you see Christians who are signs and wonders, let me explain this to you.

SPEAKER_00: These are people who God is their life, it's not an aspect of their life, you know.

SPEAKER_00: Like I have, you know, God, I have my finances, God is their life, and God flows through to every, like permeates every aspect of their lives.

SPEAKER_00: We've seen that with Daniel, we've seen that with David, we've seen that with Joseph, we saw that, we saw that with Jesus, we saw that with the disciples.

SPEAKER_00: We are going to have these lives where the prayer power and what is released in prayer, it infuses every aspect of our lives.

SPEAKER_00: So there's a reason why sometimes we struggle to pray.

SPEAKER_00: And the reason is because we don't really know what happens when we pray.

SPEAKER_00: And we don't really know the opportunity cost of not praying.

SPEAKER_00: So after you see this, there is no temptation that comes to you to not pray or to not pray in the spirit that you're ever going to fall for ever again, ever again.

SPEAKER_00: Because one of the most profitable things you do, profitable in every aspect of your life, is pray, especially praying in the spirit.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, so let me show you this.

SPEAKER_00: And when I first read it, it was so mind-boggling to me.

SPEAKER_00: We're gonna read a number of verses.

SPEAKER_00: This channel is called Success by the Book.

SPEAKER_00: So we're not afraid of looking at a lot of verses of the scripture.

SPEAKER_00: So Numbers chapter 13.

SPEAKER_00: Many of you know this story.

SPEAKER_00: This is a story when the 12 spies were sent to the to the land of Canaan, which is the promised land, to go spy it out.

SPEAKER_00: Now remember, these guys are dead and gone, but God left these stories for our instruction and for us to have victory, okay?

SPEAKER_00: And so when you read it, I want you to read it through your lens.

SPEAKER_00: Now, first of all, I want to find out if I have cousins here, okay?

SPEAKER_00: This is how you know you're one of my cousins.

SPEAKER_00: If you always read about the children of Israel in the Old Testament, and you were like, what is wrong with these people?

SPEAKER_00: You're like, they keep complaining, they keep whining after everything that God has done for them.

SPEAKER_00: I used to judge them.

SPEAKER_00: I legit used to judge them.

SPEAKER_00: And as I got older and I looked at my life, I was like, We all the children of Israel.

SPEAKER_00: We all forget the good things that God has done.

SPEAKER_00: We all forget, and we get to this point where we're like, wait, wait a minute.

SPEAKER_00: Like, I just did what the Israelites did.

SPEAKER_00: I was murmuring, I was complaining.

SPEAKER_00: God told me, Go into this promised land.

SPEAKER_00: I'm like, Lord, I can't take this promised land.

SPEAKER_00: Oh, maybe my cousins.

SPEAKER_00: So when you read this, don't judge them because we we tend this is human nature, we tend to act like that.

SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna read this for you, and I want you to pay attention to this.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, all right, right, green potatoes, uh, tomatoes was like I really didn't understand the Israelites.

SPEAKER_00: So it says from verse 25, and they returned, Numbers 13 from verse 25, and they returned from spying out the land for 40 days.

SPEAKER_00: So these you know, 12 spies had gone into Canaan and they had spied the land.

SPEAKER_00: Now, let me tell you something.

SPEAKER_00: We do that as well.

SPEAKER_00: You are here, God has called you into ministry, God has called you and He started tapping you like in your business.

SPEAKER_00: He's tapping you like in your in your marriage.

SPEAKER_00: I want you to trust me for it to look like this with your children.

SPEAKER_00: I want you to trust me for them to be like this.

SPEAKER_00: And so there are all these promises.

SPEAKER_00: So they have the promised land, but we have many promises, right?

SPEAKER_00: And sometimes we we we go and we spy them, we kind of look at them, we look at people who are doing them.

SPEAKER_00: We we look at what the word of God says about that.

SPEAKER_00: We look at that too because I want this to sink, okay?

SPEAKER_00: Okay, so that's verse 26, verse 20, verse 25, verse 26.

SPEAKER_00: Now they departed and came back to Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel in the wilderness of Param at Kadesh.

SPEAKER_00: They brought back word to them and to all the congregation and showed them the fruit of the land.

SPEAKER_00: Then they told him, so they started talking to Moses and said, We went to the land where you sent us.

SPEAKER_00: We read the Bible.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, so we went to the land which you showed us.

SPEAKER_00: It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is his fruit.

SPEAKER_00: So I read the Bible, and I now see that God can supply all my needs according to his riches and glory.

SPEAKER_00: He did it for people all over the Bible.

SPEAKER_00: I have looked at the Bible by the stripes of Jesus, I am healed.

SPEAKER_00: And I looked through the life of Jesus and saw all the kinds of people that were healed.

SPEAKER_00: I, you know, like I looked through the Bible and I found out that God is actually the one who invented marriage and he made it to be very good.

SPEAKER_00: And I've looked at all these marriages, like, wow, look at what God did.

SPEAKER_00: I looked in my time and I see all these marriages, they look great.

SPEAKER_00: So true, God said this, and truly there's evidence of it.

SPEAKER_00: There are people who've experienced this, okay?

SPEAKER_00: Now, well, here comes verse 28.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, they say, Nevertheless, right, in 2026, the way we like to say is, but I know God said that, but I know the Bible says God will supply all my needs according to his riches and glory, but I know that God said, and none shall lack their mate, but I know that God said, My children shall be taught of the Lord, but I know God said, Those who uh you know, uh my sheep hear my voice, and we can all hear the voice of God, but no more butting, okay, because this was a very expensive butt.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, so they use the nicer, they use the um uh a deeper word.

SPEAKER_00: They said, nevertheless.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, we don't say that.

SPEAKER_00: We say but okay, we don't have time to say nevertheless.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, nevertheless, the people who dwell in the land are strong, the cities are fortified.

SPEAKER_00: So the people in the land are strong, so the people who defend the land are strong.

SPEAKER_00: The cities are fortified, okay, and very large.

SPEAKER_00: So they're fortified, they have all these walls, they have people mounted on the walls and all of those things.

SPEAKER_00: Um, moreover, we also saw the descendants of Anak there, so giants, okay.

SPEAKER_00: The Amalites dwell in the land on the south, the Hittites, uh, the Jebusites, the Amorites dwell in the mountains, the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.

SPEAKER_00: So there is opposition everywhere.

SPEAKER_00: Now, God was not shocked by what they said.

SPEAKER_00: In every promised land, there are giants.

SPEAKER_00: If you think you are going to have a life that is a sign and a wonder, and you're just gonna sit on the lazy boy chair and cover yourself with your comforter, and here comes the greatness to you, here comes the promised land to you.

SPEAKER_00: It's never gonna happen that way.

SPEAKER_00: Every land that God has given you, every enviable future he has given you, every preferred future he has given you, there are giants in the land.

SPEAKER_00: But listen, that is why God also said he called us overcomers, called us conquerors, called us victors, because he built us to fight, he built us to fight the good fight, and a good fight is the fight you win.

SPEAKER_00: We are built for battle, we are built for conquest, we are built to win.

SPEAKER_00: So if there are giants in the land and so what?

SPEAKER_00: If there are giants on the way to your promise and so what?

SPEAKER_00: Okay, there are giants wherever your promise is, there are giants there already.

SPEAKER_00: We have to understand that, we have to understand that so we don't get thrown off.

SPEAKER_00: So that was one way of thinking.

SPEAKER_00: We went there, and God is not lying.

SPEAKER_00: There's a whole promised land there, and he's not lying.

SPEAKER_00: The land flows with milk and honey, however, but nevertheless, they're giants there.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, now that there were 12 spies, 10 of them had one report, two had a different report.

SPEAKER_00: One was Joseph, one was Joshua, one was Caleb.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, so let's see in verse 30 what Caleb said.

SPEAKER_00: Caleb cut them off, okay.

SPEAKER_00: Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, Let us now remember, Caleb went with them, so he saw the promised land, he saw it was a land flowing with milk and honey, he saw the fruit of the land, he saw the giants, and this was his response.

SPEAKER_00: Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.

SPEAKER_00: He saw the same thing.

SPEAKER_00: He saw the giants, and were the giants bigger than Caleb physically?

SPEAKER_00: Was the land bigger than the land they were used to?

SPEAKER_00: Were the people who were trained for battle more skilled than them?

SPEAKER_00: Of course.

SPEAKER_00: Remember, these people had been slaves for 430 years and they've been walking in the wilderness, and now they came to this place where there was actual military force, there were no army.

SPEAKER_00: Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.

SPEAKER_00: I want to be like Caleb, and we're gonna link this to praying the spirit and all that.

SPEAKER_00: You're gonna see in a second, but you have to understand why and what you're doing because from this day, from today, your praying in tongues is gonna be so much more profitable because you're gonna have your laser focused on something.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, verse 31.

SPEAKER_00: But the man who had gone up with him said, We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.

SPEAKER_00: I want to invite you from today.

SPEAKER_00: Anytime God shows you something to do, anytime you see something in God's word, never, ever, ever say, we're not able to do that, we're not able to have that, we're not able to accomplish that.

SPEAKER_00: I'll show you what to do instead, even if you feel that way.

SPEAKER_00: Never open up your mouth to side with Satan because Satan always sides with the opposite of what God said.

SPEAKER_00: We are not Satanists, we are followers of Jesus, we are followers of God, and his word we will obey.

SPEAKER_00: Um, so but the man who had gone up with him said, Caleb, we don't know what foolishness you're talking about.

SPEAKER_00: We are not able to go up against this people.

SPEAKER_00: I paraphrase that.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, we are not able to go up against this people, for they are stronger than we.

SPEAKER_00: And they gave the children of Israel, so they didn't even keep this doubt and unbelief to themselves, they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land.

SPEAKER_00: When you are talking doubt and belief, the Bible calls it a bad report.

SPEAKER_00: When you're like, oh man, I think I'm gonna die young, the Bible calls that a bad report.

SPEAKER_00: When you're like, Yeah, we you know, like we, you know, like maybe we'll just have enough to pay our bills and nothing else, because you know, like we're we're not he like we're not we're not supposed to have money, right?

SPEAKER_00: You know, all these children when they grow up, they walk away from the Lord.

SPEAKER_00: God calls you into the ministry and tells you, totally shows you a city to take it, and you're like, we can't take this city.

SPEAKER_00: I don't have enough education, I don't have enough anointing, I don't have enough connections, I can't even speak.

SPEAKER_00: The Bible calls that a bad report.

SPEAKER_00: King James calls it an evil report.

SPEAKER_00: What is a good report?

SPEAKER_00: A report that lines up with the word of God.

SPEAKER_00: If it doesn't line up with the word of God, it is not coming out of this anointed mouth of mine, it's just not gonna happen.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, all right, and when they have given given the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, The land through which we have gone as spies, listen, is a land that devours its inherit its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.

SPEAKER_00: Because first of all, they said the land is a land that devours its inhabitants, but there were inhabitants there and they were not devoured.

SPEAKER_00: So I guess that ain't true, right?

SPEAKER_00: And it says the men we saw, all the men we saw were men of great stature.

SPEAKER_00: Please let me tell you something.

SPEAKER_00: Never underestimate yourself because of what you see in the mirror.

SPEAKER_00: Remember that the spirit realm is what controls the natural realm.

SPEAKER_00: Remember that the spirit realm is the parent realm and the earth realm is his slave.

SPEAKER_00: Now, when it comes to the spirit realm, you have the most powerful spirits ever.

SPEAKER_00: You have God with you.

SPEAKER_00: So you may see somebody of big of great stature, that's great for them.

SPEAKER_00: But I by myself may not be a person of great stature, but me and God, there's no competing with me and God, there's no winning against me and God, there's nothing more powerful than me and God.

SPEAKER_00: So there, there, they were people of great stature.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, so now they start making up stuff, okay.

SPEAKER_00: Then verse 33 there we saw giants, the descendants of Anna came from the giants, and this is the most terrible part.

SPEAKER_00: It says, and we were like grasshoppers in our sight.

SPEAKER_00: Never allow the opposition to make you think you are less than who you are.

SPEAKER_00: We are we were grasshoppers in our own sight.

SPEAKER_00: A human being reduced himself to a grasshopper because of somebody who didn't even see them.

SPEAKER_00: The spy, they were spies, the giants didn't even see them, and we're just like, oh, we're grasshoppers.

SPEAKER_00: We're never taking on a smaller identity because you see something bigger than you, quote unquote, better, more advanced, or whatever.

SPEAKER_00: You're with God, and God sent you on an assignment, and you are to accomplish that assignment with Him.

SPEAKER_00: Some of that assignment is ministry, some of that assignment is family, some of that sign is tackling your health and taking hold of what Jesus died for you to have.

SPEAKER_00: It's tackling your finances, it's making your whole life a sign and a wonder.

SPEAKER_00: I ain't no grasshopper.

SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter how big you look, it doesn't matter how amazing your country looks, it doesn't matter how amazing, how fortified your cities are, it doesn't matter to me.

SPEAKER_00: I am no grasshopper, I am a daughter of the most high God, made in the image of God.

SPEAKER_00: I am a king and a priest, and I am called to reign in the earth.

SPEAKER_00: I am God's masterpiece.

SPEAKER_00: I'm called to be above only and not beneath.

SPEAKER_00: The spirit of the most high God lives on the inside of me, which means when you're looking for the address of God, you look for me.

SPEAKER_00: I have angels at my disposal that are sent to minister for me as a as an air of salvation.

SPEAKER_00: I dwell in the secret place of the most high, I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

SPEAKER_00: A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand may fall at my right hand, but it will not hurt me.

SPEAKER_00: God is the one who strengthens me, God is the one who rescues me, God is the one who helps me.

SPEAKER_00: So you may think you're all that, but I have the help of God, and you don't want my daddy coming for you.

SPEAKER_00: I know grasshopper.

SPEAKER_00: So, and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight.

SPEAKER_00: But now get the fun part.

SPEAKER_00: And so were we in their sight.

SPEAKER_00: So not only did they think they were grasshoppers, but they also said these giants who didn't even see them thought they were grasshoppers.

SPEAKER_00: My pastor would put it this way he said, Did you enter into the giant's eye to figure out how the giant sees you?

SPEAKER_00: Like how the giants didn't even see them, they were spies.

SPEAKER_00: They were spies.

SPEAKER_00: They went to go see what was going on there without being seen.

SPEAKER_00: That's what spies do.

SPEAKER_00: Okay, so now this is the consequence of what they said.

SPEAKER_00: So, next verse, which is chapter 14, verse 1, it says, All the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and they wept that night.

SPEAKER_00: And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said, If only we had died in the land of Egypt, you see what doubt does where you start thinking when you were in bondage it was better than now when you're free?

SPEAKER_00: Like, oh, if only we had died in the in Egypt, or if only we had died in this wilderness.

SPEAKER_00: And who are they complaining about?

SPEAKER_00: The people that God sent to help them.

SPEAKER_00: Never turn on your helpers.

SPEAKER_00: I will never turn on my helpers.

SPEAKER_00: So, this is the person God used to deliver them from the land of Egypt.

SPEAKER_00: This is the person that God used to divide the Red Sea so they could walk through.

SPEAKER_00: This is the same person who, you know, struck the rock so they could get water.

SPEAKER_00: This is the same person who pleaded with God and they got man manna.

SPEAKER_00: This is the same person who went up the up the mountain and sacrificed, being there for 40 days and 40 nights to give them the Ten Commandments so they can obey and be blessed.

SPEAKER_00: What triggered that?

SPEAKER_00: Okay, so why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword?

SPEAKER_00: Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?

SPEAKER_00: If you let fear and doubt and unbelief take root in you, you will actively make it your assignment in life to go back to bondage.

SPEAKER_00: We've come all this way to the promised land.

SPEAKER_00: Let's just go to Egypt.
