- 1:01joining us. He was sensational as he gave us
- 1:03so many stories and so many takes that we're going to cut
- 1:07and chop it up. And for all the fans that didn't
- 1:09know Vince Papali story or hasn't checked out the
- 1:12Invincible movie, go and check it out.
- 1:14I think it's on to be. I'm not sure.
- 1:16I know last month it was on To be.
- 1:18Always when I, when it's on To be, I pop it on.
- 1:21I, I do stream it sometimes. So I, I love the movie.
- 1:24It's a great story and and as you heard him the most of the
- 1:28story was true. So I, I, I was very surprised.
- 1:33He said that he wished that they went back a little bit or before
- 1:36everything happened because the story would have been a little
- 1:39bit more interesting all the way up to what happened.
- 1:41But I wanted to know if those friends, if his friends like in
- 1:45the movie were like really the story of his, those guys were
- 1:48his friends. And I, I, I, there were some
- 1:50questions I had. But again, Vince gave us so many
- 1:54great takes and he was sensational.
- 1:55In UFC328 Co main event Joshua Van defeated Tatsuro Tyara Tyra
- 2:03I'm Sorry with a fifth round TKO to keep the UFC Flyweight
- 2:07championship belt. Tyra was complaining to the
- 2:11referee after the fight, saying he believes they stopped the
- 2:14final round to prematurely. Van has now won seven straight
- 2:19fights and is likely to have a rematch with Alexander Pantoza
- 2:24who he beat in December 6th. On December 6th, Sean Strickland
- 2:30upset hold on Hamzat Chimayov to win the middle weight
- 2:37championship belt despite being a four to one underdog by most
- 2:42sports books. On his podcast, Joe Rogan called
- 2:46this fight one of the greatest middle weight fights ever, which
- 2:50many UFC fans disagree. I disagree.
- 2:54This loss was Chimayo's first loss of his career and only the
- 2:59second time any one of his fights went more than three
- 3:03rounds. Strickland now improves to 31
- 3:06and seven and there are rumors that they could have a rematch
- 3:11sometime at the end of the year or early 2027.
- 3:17Now, a lot of people watch this, this card and the card was all
- 3:20right. But the last two fights,
- 3:22everybody and I want to see Joshua, Joshua Van.
- 3:25We really didn't get a chance to see him against Alexander
- 3:28Pantosa. Everybody knows what happened
- 3:30early in the fight, what happened to Pantosa and Pantosa
- 3:34was the champion. Now I'm interested to see when
- 3:36that fight is going to happen. I would have liked to see that
- 3:39at the White House that that would have been the fight, one
- 3:42of those fights that really stuck out to me.
- 3:44Everybody was looking forward to this White House, White House
- 3:46fight. And the only fight that really
- 3:48sticks out to me is the final fight.
- 3:50So I mean this it's not the best card and I want Jon Jones.
- 3:54I want I would have wanted to see that.
- 3:56But going into this fight, Joshua Van defeated obviously
- 4:00Tyra and and and Tyra in early in the fight in the first round.
- 4:04He was doing everything that was supposed to take van down,
- 4:07dominate the the first round and he won the first round.
- 4:10He won the first round by taking van down and keeping Van from
- 4:13standing up and throwing and using his boxing and his skills
- 4:17because Joshua Van is one of the best boxers right now in the
- 4:20UFC. He's sensational.
- 4:21The stand up game is almost impossible to time.
- 4:24He's a great, great stand up fighter.
- 4:27But after that, after the second round, you saw what Van can do.
- 4:31Van can use his he was using his jab, he was stolen combinations.
- 4:35He was pushing off of Tyra and, and Tyra started to get he
- 4:39started to bleed. He started to get dominated
- 4:42against the the fence and and and the ring and, and it was
- 4:45and, and Tyra started to try to take him down and try to
- 4:48dominate him, taking him down. And, and, and Josh Joshua van
- 4:51started to get up and started to use his footwork and his hands
- 4:56to dominate the fight. And and it kept going and going
- 4:59all the way into the the fifth round, because obviously it's a
- 5:02championship fight. Now I will say this and we'll go
- 5:06from fight to fight and I'll let I'll hear everybody's opinion.
- 5:10The referee throughout the fights, all the referees were
- 5:14not calling the fights. It, the fights went pretty much
- 5:18all the way to the end. It really it was great to watch
- 5:20because usually you see a referee call a fight right away
- 5:24if it, if he can't move. And I, I saw that Tyra, his eyes
- 5:29rolled in the back of his head. Now, honest to God, I would have
- 5:32not called that fight. It's a championship fight.
- 5:34They're still 2 minutes left or a minute and a half left.
- 5:38I don't know what exactly what the time was.
- 5:40I wouldn't have called the fight.
- 5:42It doesn't matter. Tyra what doesn't win the fight
- 5:44even if it goes to decision. I thought Joshua, it was close.
- 5:48It was 2 two I think cuz I thought that Tyra won the fourth
- 5:53round. I thought he was.
- 5:54He did enough in the fourth round.
- 5:55But Joshua Van was dominating the fifth round.
- 5:59He was absolutely dominating the fifth round.
- 6:01No matter what happens in that fifth round, even if Tyra takes
- 6:05him down once or twice, I still think Joshua Van wins that
- 6:08fight. You have to beat the champion.
- 6:10That's why I'm going to get into the Strickland fight.
- 6:11I'm going to tell you why I don't think Strickland should
- 6:14have won that fight. That's just my opinion.
- 6:16I love that I, I, he's one of my favorite fighters.
- 6:18I love Strickland, but there's a lot to get into that fight.
- 6:22But Joshua went Van won the fight.
- 6:24I, I saw all these I, I saw all these different football
- 6:28players. You know who I'm talking about
- 6:29the giants running all over the day and enjoying themselves and
- 6:33that's great. I, I love Jackson dart.
- 6:35I love what they were doing over there and they love mixed
- 6:37martial arts, but what do you know about the, the fighting
- 6:39game? So it was fun to watch.
- 6:42Joshua Van now is destined to fight Pantoza and that's what we
- 6:46want to see. And I think every fight fan
- 6:49wants to see and Alexander Pantoza.
- 6:50And after the fight, when Joshua Van went out there and and you
- 6:54heard Joe Rogan, he says Pandoza and he he started talking crap
- 6:57and Pantoza gave him a look like, dude, you didn't beat me,
- 7:00you didn't beat me. So and everybody that watched
- 7:03the fight, we'll see. I think, I still think their
- 7:06their styles work together and, and I think Pantoza is more like
- 7:10a Tyra. He likes to take people down.
- 7:11He's a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu artist.
- 7:14That's what he likes to do. We'll see.
- 7:15I think he's a little bit better than Tyra, but we'll see what
- 7:18happens. But it was a great, great fight.
- 7:21At first I thought that was going to be fight of the night,
- 7:23but it wasn't. The Strickland fight really took
- 7:28many areas where you can attack, but that's my opinion of that
- 7:32fight. You want to go quit or you want
- 7:37me to go? No, go ahead, I'll finish up.
- 7:40I'll do that. I think you're right, that Komen
- 7:42event, it was definitely funny the night Joshua van what a
- 7:45badass. And I, I think you are right,
- 7:47the referee was like a little bit of a premature stoppage.
- 7:51But I think if you look at it like Tyra was going to go down
- 7:54in that moment. And even if the fight had gone
- 7:56to a decision, I'm pretty sure Joshua Van most of the judges
- 8:00gave him a 10/8 round and round 3.
- 8:02So that's the best he could have done was tie the fight and then
- 8:04Joshua Van still retains the title.
- 8:07But I mean, that was a fantastic, fantastic fight.
- 8:08And Patrick and Tyra, part of a lion, He had so many
- 8:11opportunities where he could have given up in the fight and
- 8:13quit, but he didn't. He almost got submitted by
- 8:15Joshua Van. You know, Joshua Van was like,
- 8:18might as well take advantage of this because everyone thought he
- 8:20was just going to lay on him the whole fight and, you know, keep
- 8:22him down there. But Joshua Van showed great
- 8:24wrestling, takedown defense. He sprawled really well.
- 8:27He's got hell of hands. You know, he's got unbelievable
- 8:30power for a flyweight. It was unbeliev.
- 8:32When he flat lined him in round two, I was like, Oh my God, I
- 8:35couldn't believe it. I thought it was a chance for it
- 8:37to be over right there. But Tyra, yeah, he's he's heart
- 8:40of a lion man. He fought well.
- 8:43And then on to the main event, Sean Strickland.
- 8:45Almost similar to how last year at the end of the year we saw
- 8:49Pyodrion defeat Marab, The perfect game plan of beating an
- 8:53unbeatable fighter that everybody thought was just going
- 8:55to run through him. And I personally, I did think
- 8:58that Sean Strickland won the fight.
- 8:59I was, I thought it was very close.
- 9:01Like you said, it was 22 going into the last round, but I was
- 9:04seeing some weird stats in the commentary team.
- 9:06They were talking about advancing time for Hamza
- 9:09Shamaya, But I mean, that really doesn't mean much at the end of
- 9:11the day, just because you're going forward in the fight.
- 9:13That's not really a noteworthy statistic to count in terms of
- 9:17damage. And, you know, Sean Strickland
- 9:20outlanded Shamayev. I mean, and Shamayev, sure, in
- 9:23Round 1, he held him down the entire round, but he didn't do
- 9:25anything with his takedowns. He just kind of held him there,
- 9:28similar to how Islam Makachev held down Volkanovsky in their
- 9:31first fight. You know, Strickland was the one
- 9:33who was out landing him. He was constantly popping him
- 9:35with his jab. And Shamayev, you know, whether
- 9:37it was stubbornness or he was just trying to show how tough he
- 9:40was, he was not taking his head off the center line and he was
- 9:43not moving. And excuse me, Strickland took
- 9:45complete advantage of that. Again, it was a really close
- 9:48fight. Not saying that if you had it
- 9:50for Jamaya that's unreasonable, but I thought Strickland was the
- 9:53one who got the win. It was deserved, but I I enjoyed
- 9:56the hell out of this card. It was so much fun.
- 9:58Yeah, I agree with everything that's been said.
- 10:00I think that both guys won with their hands and not any type of
- 10:04wrestling or MMA techniques and things of that nature.
- 10:07When they got banned, I do think it was you could say it's kind
- 10:11of premature, but when you look at at that one hit, the overhand
- 10:14that he threw and he connected well and then he came with a
- 10:18little slight uppercut. It was as a very like, yes, you
- 10:23wanted to go all the way through, but at the same time,
- 10:25you don't want to risk that fat as somebody going brain dead or
- 10:28somebody not being able to fight for the rest of their life.
- 10:31So, you know, kudos to them. I know it's a tough decision and
- 10:33making that situation and as fans, we want to see, you know
- 10:37it fight to death really, But in reality, you gotta you gotta
- 10:41take into consideration that these guys are professionals.
- 10:43And although it seems premature that the three combination that
- 10:47he had, it's just hard to say that you would continue to let
- 10:52this go, especially when he did overhead.
- 10:53He kind of split and then he came with the little slight
- 10:56uppercut and then they kind of fell down.
- 10:58It's like, were you looking at that in real time?
- 11:00It's like, oh, this guy, he's not even putting up a fence,
- 11:02couldn't block the punches, nor would he thought returning any
- 11:05punches. So as a referee, and you're in
- 11:07that position, you're gonna you're gonna always make a half
- 11:09the good judgment call and just fight.
- 11:12And he lived to see another day. I know it's frustrating, but you
- 11:14live to see another day. As far as Strickland, I thought
- 11:16it was pretty even going into the 5th.
- 11:18I think you could go either way going into the fifth round.
- 11:20I just think Strickland, I smarted him, you know, like,
- 11:24like you said, whatever his name is, whatever.
- 11:30Yeah, he was more so trying to be like tough and stay in the
- 11:33middle of the ring and then strictly just uses IQ and was
- 11:36like, no, I'm just gonna box you.
- 11:38I'm just gonna keep punching you and getting these lands and
- 11:40these points. And then people don't realize
- 11:42that these put on the point system.
- 11:44When you get these connections and you hit these guys, that's
- 11:47not better sometimes that I takedown because you ain't
- 11:50wasting as much energy and you still get impact points that's
- 11:53give you that edge or late in the in the decision.
- 11:56Kudos to both of them. I think both of them use their
- 11:58hands, both of you use the IQ in the ring and it was definitely,
- 12:03like you said, a good card. It was a good card.
- 12:05I must say. It was the best card.
- 12:06I would say that. I think he stretched it with
- 12:08that. But yeah, it was a good.
- 12:09Card I never I never got into the main event and I wanted to
- 12:12save that after you guys spoke and and I I watched the fight
- 12:16and I I I love Sean Strickland. I think he's a great stand up
- 12:19fighter. I was very surprised because
- 12:21Strickland, he fights differently when he stands up.
- 12:23He doesn't spread his legs out. His style is very unique.
- 12:26It's unorthodox. So I, I, I watch him and, and,
- 12:30and he, he doesn't look like he throws hard until he lands them.
- 12:34And it was, it was fun to watch He, he definitely landed more
- 12:38shots than Chamaya. Chamaya is not a stand up
- 12:41fighter. That's not what he does.
- 12:42He's a wrestler. And what I thought was very
- 12:44interesting is Chamaya didn't really take him down.
- 12:46That was it. That's his bread and butter.
- 12:48He likes to take people down. He's a wrestler.
- 12:50Dominate him on the ground. He kind of stopped after the,
- 12:52the second round. He started standing up with him
- 12:54and he played Strickland's game and he, he actually fought very,
- 12:58very well standing up against Strickland.
- 12:59He really did. And I, I thought he, he had a
- 13:01lot of good blows. And I thought Strickland got
- 13:03tired in the third round. He was very, very tired.
- 13:06You can see it. He was breathing hard after each
- 13:09round. Chimayov has unbelievable
- 13:11stamina. He is one of the best when it
- 13:13comes to. And these Russian guys, they're,
- 13:15they're so good at breathing and, and using, using that, that
- 13:19breath in their breathing. And I'll say this in the early,
- 13:21early in the first round, Chimayov took him down and
- 13:26Strickland controlled he, he, he really looked like he was
- 13:30settling in. He, he wasn't trying to move too
- 13:33fast and wear himself out. I thought it was great to watch
- 13:36Strickland do that. Now, as far as I'm concerned, it
- 13:39was 2 two and the fifth round was very, very close.
- 13:43I thought it was a draw. I thought it was a draw.
- 13:45And if it was that close, if it was that close, the, the, the,
- 13:49the draw goes to the champion. And I thought Shamayoff won the
- 13:53fight. As far as I'm concerned, should
- 13:55have kept this belt. Maybe it's a draw, should have
- 13:57kept this belt because I watched Strickland, Strickland did throw
- 14:00all the, the punches. He landed more punches than him.
- 14:03Everything else, takedowns, everything.
- 14:06As far as I'm concerned, controlling, controlling him on
- 14:09the ground, doing the things that you want to do or you get
- 14:12the points. That's what they look at.
- 14:13UFC mixed martial arts is different.
- 14:15Yes, you're throwing more punches.
- 14:17That's all he won. That's all he wanted is is
- 14:19landing more punches. Everything else was dominated by
- 14:22Chamaya and, and usually when you see something like that, it
- 14:26goes to the champion. So when I sit down, I Sean
- 14:29Strickland is my favorite, one of my favorite fighters.
- 14:31I love Sean Strickland, all right.
- 14:34I love him and I I want I'm happy that he won.
- 14:37But I thought Hamzat Chamayov got robbed.
- 14:42I thought he got robbed and I I think they deserve to fight
- 14:44again. These guys don't like each
- 14:47other. It's fun.
- 14:47They these guys go ahead. They put on a great show.
- 14:51The weigh insurance got kicked in the balls.
- 14:53He didn't make weight. It was all it was all great for
- 14:57the UFC to perform like that. It's a Conor McGregor kind of
- 15:00thing. You see two guys, one guy that
- 15:02has cauliflower ear and he's weird and the other guy has the
- 15:04other cauliflower ear on the left ear who sits there and he
- 15:08smiles. I know this, I know this.
- 15:10I don't care. You know that it's what what's
- 15:13great about mixed martial arts is, is, is the beauty in it is
- 15:16when you get into the ring, you see what the strength if, if
- 15:20this guy's strength can beat that guy's strength or they
- 15:22train, they train against each other to figure them out.
- 15:25I thought my honest opinion this is this is coming from a person
- 15:30that has fought before and understands the game of mixed
- 15:32martial arts. You have to beat the champion.
- 15:35You have to beat him. And I don't believe Sean
- 15:38Strickland beat Shamayoff. That's just my opinion.
- 15:42And I, and if you look at the numbers and, and, and that's
- 15:44what you do at the end of the fight and they, they're putting
- 15:46up posts and all that other stuff and looking at statistics,
- 15:51I thought he got robbed. That's just my opinion.
- 15:53So it was it nevertheless, nevertheless, it was 2 great
- 15:57main events. You, you, you could say that I
- 16:00think Dana White got it right this time.
- 16:02I mean, the last couple of fights I've been questioning
- 16:05what they're doing and and again, they're still trying to
- 16:08look for that next UFC superstar.
- 16:11I mean, you're looking at Shamayoff.
- 16:12He's boring. Nobody, nobody likes watching
- 16:15Shamayoff. As a matter of fact, every time
- 16:17he took Strickland down, they were booing him.
- 16:18Boo, Boo, because nobody wants to see that.
- 16:21Nobody wants to see that. I want to see him stand up like
- 16:23Van dude. Every time Joshua van landed on
- 16:27Tyra, the fans in in Miller's alehouse kicked that shot of a
- 16:30you know what? And they were screaming it.
- 16:32It was Joshua. Van is fun to watch.
- 16:35These guys are flyweights. They're small, they're
- 16:38aggressive. Tyra is a tough kid.
- 16:40We're going to see him again and he's going to get another shot
- 16:43again. I absolutely believe it.
- 16:45But everybody wants to see Alexander Pantosa and him.
- 16:49Everybody wants to see it, Pantoza.
- 16:52What you saw with his bicep was disgusting.
- 16:54I mean, it was a bicep, right? I think it was his bicep.
- 16:56Think I think it was a fractured elbow.
- 16:58I'm more excited for that fight now that rematch Errol, cuz like
- 17:01you said, we didn't really get to see it and a lot of people
- 17:03worked saying you know Joshua Van oh paper champion because he
- 17:06didn't really beat Pyantosia. But then he goes out here and he
- 17:09fights a wrestler like Tyra who you know, I think Pantos is a
- 17:12better version of Tyra. You know, he's aggressive, he's
- 17:15fast, he's got a Brazilian style.
- 17:16I like Joshua Van's chances in that fight now when he fought a
- 17:19guy in Tatsu retire and he didn't have a problem getting
- 17:22taken down. He got right back up.
- 17:23So I'm really excited for this rematch.
- 17:25It's. Going to be fun to watch and,
- 17:26and again I I don't know when the UFC is going to plan this.
- 17:29I think it's going to be more towards the end of the year.
- 17:31Usually the December card is. I guess would be like September,
- 17:35October, maybe they maybe they wait till November and put it on
- 17:38the the MSG card because they generally go back to like MSG
- 17:41every year, like the end of the year.
- 17:42So maybe they'd wait then. But I think Pantosa really wants
- 17:45to get back in the ring. So my guess would be Van Duffy
- 17:48took some damage. He's got to take some time off.
- 17:51My guest would be around September, October, maybe
- 17:53November. I I can't wait for that fight.
- 17:55I mean, anybody that can't, you know, Joe Rogan, I, I'm going to
- 17:59attack Joe Rogan and and I know, I know everybody is going to sit
- 18:02here and won't attack Joe Rogan. Don't you dare, Joe Joe, come
- 18:07on. This is not the greatest middle
- 18:10weight championship of all time. Are you kidding me?
- 18:13I could go back against I can if I pulled up pull up the greatest
- 18:17middle weight fights in UFC history.
- 18:19Speedy do that somebody pull up the greatest middle weight
- 18:22fights in UFC history. This is not the greatest middle
- 18:26weight. I I mean, how about Anderson
- 18:28silver losing the belt to you know, a Long Islander?
- 18:32I mean that that was that was something shocking a middle
- 18:35weight championship like that. Anderson Silver won nine fights
- 18:38in a row and then he breaks his leg on he made me.
- 18:43Give a shout out to Chris Weidman just went to the Hall of
- 18:45Fame. Congratulations to Chris.
- 18:47Yeah, former middle weight champion.
- 18:48You said like beat Anderson Silva.
- 18:50Beat. Him twice didn't beat him once,
- 18:52he beat him twice. Yeah, twice.
- 18:54Yeah. He beat him twice and Anderson
- 18:56Silver at the highest level where everybody thought he was
- 18:58unbeatable. So I think Fish is going to
- 19:01bring it up. Just put it up there, right?
- 19:03Now, yeah, Israel and Kevin, Yeah, Nah.
- 19:06This this is not the. Greatest Women.
- 19:08Yeah, this is not the greatest middle weight fight of all time.
- 19:10This is crazy. I think it was a good.
- 19:12At all times. I think it was a good fight.
- 19:14I don't know if it yeah, maybe not the best of all times.
- 19:17Maybe in terms of like modern history in like the twenty 20s.
- 19:19It was, it was a really good fight.
- 19:21I think the Weidman Anderson Silver fight was the greatest if
- 19:24you would ask me right now. I mean, I also like the Whitaker
- 19:27fight that was. A walkable Michael Bisping.
- 19:29That's a good one. That was a great fight.
- 19:31Yeah, there was a lot. Alice was, yeah.
- 19:36Rare and Izzy. That first fight was amazing and
- 19:38the second one. Was Anderson Silver versus Rich
- 19:40Franklin? Remember that?
- 19:41I mean, that was a bloodbath. That was a bloodbath.
- 19:44The first DDP Strickland was pretty good.
- 19:46I mean, a lot of people thought Strickland got robbed in that
- 19:48fight, so it'll be interesting to see who they match him up
- 19:51with again. I know you said that they
- 19:52probably will do Shamayev again, but some we didn't touch on.
- 19:55That weight cut was really rough for him.
- 19:57I think that helped Strickland a lot and he's talked about 1.
- 20:00Oh yeah. So, you know, maybe we don't.
- 20:03Yeah. So I mean, he's already called
- 20:05out Nasrdeen and Mavov, but I wouldn't mind seeing them do
- 20:07Strickland Shamayev too. That'd be great.
- 20:09They're going to do it. They're going to absolutely do
- 20:10it. He gets a rematch.
- 20:12Automatically gets a rematch. Yeah, I think it depends if he
- 20:14wants to. Go to.
- 20:15He does. If he doesn't want to make the
- 20:17weight cut anymore, he's going to.
- 20:19He was the last one. He was the last one to weigh in
- 20:22this weekend and he looked really rough.
- 20:24Tell you something nobody wants to see you you lose your first
- 20:28fight you do not want to go in and and put weight on at 2:05.
- 20:32You want to fight Strickland again and you want to, you want
- 20:34to win that fight. And I, I think that's.
- 20:36What? He looked dehydrated, though.
- 20:37He didn't look good at all. You see him in the way?
- 20:39Yeah, he didn't look good. He didn't look like he was going
- 20:42to be even capable of fighting at that weight.
- 20:44Like he looked like he passed his time.
- 20:46That's why I thought because he didn't wrestle like after Round
- 20:492 when he fell down and then Strickland jumped on him.
- 20:51I think he was legitimately gas like it was is literally the
- 20:54first time time since Kamara Usman and Gilbert Burns that
- 20:56anyone pushed Jamaya like he he looked like he was able to box
- 21:00with Strickland but he couldn't throw it and he didn't try to
- 21:02take him down in the rest of Round 2.
- 21:04Anytime in round three. He had that one in round 4, but
- 21:07that was. It, I don't think he, I don't
- 21:08think he was really as tired as you think he was, because when
- 21:11he sat down, he wasn't breathing hard.
- 21:12He wasn't doing any of those things.
- 21:14I think the problem was is he wanted to fight Sean
- 21:17Strickland's fight. I think he wanted to prove
- 21:19everybody was booing and he was like, I could stand up with this
- 21:22guy. He doesn't hit.
- 21:22That I think there was some ego in it, but I think he was.
- 21:25I think he was definitely gas dude.
- 21:27It would gas which led him to doing that.
- 21:29I I did I because. He was gas.
- 21:31When I saw him, when I saw him sitting down besides the 4th,
- 21:35the fourth round, when we're going into the fifth round, he
- 21:38did not look tired. He was dancing around on the
- 21:40side. He.
- 21:41Was Meyer does hide it well. He smiles like he's got that
- 21:44crazy little joke. But I think.
- 21:46When you see, when you. See, he was gas.
- 21:49When you see somebody gas, you're breathing heavily and,
- 21:52and, and I know because I, I, I know what it takes when you're
- 21:55going A55 minute round and you're going out there and
- 21:58you're, because you're training yourself.
- 22:00This guy is a training stamina beast of a man.
- 22:03And I'm, and I'm telling you right now, when you sit, watch
- 22:06the fight again, he was not tired.
- 22:09He was not sitting there. Here's why I think he was tired
- 22:12though, because if you go back and you look at that fifth round
- 22:16was throwing slow jabs and connecting and landing with
- 22:20someone who wrestles a lot. So it's like you, ain't he?
- 22:23Dude, dude, he could. Just sat there and just was
- 22:26taking jabs to the face. You don't breathe heavy.
- 22:30When you're a world when when you're a world renowned wrestler
- 22:34like him, he could just take him down at the way.
- 22:38So why didn't he? So why?
- 22:40Does he want because he's ego? It was ego.
- 22:42He wanted to stand with him, right?
- 22:44Are they telling you Quinton is right though?
- 22:46He didn't take his head off the center line at all?
- 22:48And I think part of that was ego because he wanted to walk
- 22:51Strickland down, but he couldn't legitimately take him down.
- 22:53I'm not saying he looked like Jack Dellavant Elaine against
- 22:55Islam Macca Chef. Now that was somebody who was
- 22:58exhausted like Jack. By round 3/4, he looked like
- 23:01depleted done. I'm not saying Shamayev looked
- 23:03like that, but there was definitely a stamina.
- 23:07If if you listen to the press conference, when Shamayev was
- 23:10talking, they asked him, were you tired?
- 23:12He says. I was not gassed.
- 23:14I wanted to stand up and I I watch fighting.
- 23:18What do you think? He's not breathing hard.
- 23:21Breathing, dude. He was not breathing hard, dude.
- 23:24He was not breathing hard when he's sitting there, dude, dude,
- 23:28he was sitting there. He was not breathing hard.
- 23:30You did not see him take a gasping up for breath.
- 23:33He barely even took sips of the water.
- 23:35He was fine. He was fine.
- 23:37It wasn't that the fans were booing when he was taking him
- 23:40down in the first round and then after middle of the second
- 23:43round, he said, you know what, I'm going to stand up with him.
- 23:45I'm going to to throw jabs. I'm going to be able to stand up
- 23:47with this guy. He's not as good of a fighter as
- 23:50everybody thinks he is. The whole point here is, is that
- 23:53that's not his game. His game is to take him down.
- 23:55And I'm going to tell you this right now.
- 23:56They're going to fight again and I'm going to tell you this.
- 23:58You could take this to the bank. Jamila will beat Strickland.
- 24:01He will beat Strickland. He'll take him down over and
- 24:03over and over and over again. This time, because Strickland is
- 24:06not he's not going to stand with Strickland and actually give
- 24:08Strickland an opportunity to win by points.
- 24:10You are remark. Remember I said this.
- 24:12I think he'll win like that goal gives Strickland confidence so I
- 24:16understand that Shamaya if he decides to come back, he will
- 24:19definitely come back better and he can say whatever he wants.
- 24:21I don't believe it for a second. His ass was tired.
- 24:24Maybe he didn't, maybe he didn't know it, maybe he hit it well.
- 24:26He was definitely tired. While you're laughing, I don't
- 24:29know why you're giggling. It's it's.
- 24:30Because you don't just sit there and let somebody put you in.
- 24:33Your Judy Judy, he barely Willy will barely sound.
- 24:37Wrestle, you're going to go to your strength, you're not going
- 24:39to fall back and to just sit there with a one or two times,
- 24:44but you're not fit to just sit just keep getting hit by
- 24:50somebody that. He doesn't stand up.
- 24:52He doesn't fight standing up. That's not.
- 24:54What exactly? That's not what he was tired.
- 24:56No, he. Oh, so you're telling me he's
- 24:59hopping around, dancing around? He was tired.
- 25:01What do you know about it? You just.
- 25:03He's dancing around. He was not tired.
- 25:05I box. OK.
- 25:07I box too. And I also.
- 25:08I also, I also do mixed martial arts.
- 25:10I was 707. And oh, if you can't get your
- 25:13head off the center line, you're tired.
- 25:14I'm. Telling you he wasn't tired.
- 25:15I think that's how he gained some he gained some stamina back
- 25:19and round for him. That's why he was able to shoot
- 25:20that one takedown on Strickland. Like he obviously he gained his
- 25:24second win, but in terms of his total strength, like if you
- 25:27remember the DDP fight, Shamayev was never in danger of losing
- 25:30any cardio there because DDP couldn't fuck him off Whatever
- 25:33Strickland made him work for those takedowns.
- 25:35And then when he realized, oh shit, this isn't working.
- 25:38And I think you're right, Errol, it was partially ego.
- 25:41He wanted to knock with a. 100%. Getting the fans, but there
- 25:44definitely was a cardio dump. I, I I.
- 25:48What I look at when I watch fighting, I I look at them in
- 25:51the corner, I look at their breathing method.
- 25:53I look at how he's breathing. If he's doing this, he wasn't
- 25:58doing, he wasn't doing that. He wasn't our level.
- 26:01That won't stand up with him. Can't have enough ego to hide
- 26:05his cardio not. I'm telling you, how do you
- 26:07hide? How do you say how do you hide
- 26:09stamina? How do you hide stamina?
- 26:11Don't breathe hard. Dude, it's not, no, it's not
- 26:14easy. You're doing 5 minutes.
- 26:15It's not, it's not easy. It's not as.
- 26:19Good at hiding his like his pain.
- 26:22He's never really, even when he's like when he was fighting
- 26:24Gilbert Burns and he was giving him that work, like Gilbert
- 26:27Burns was out striking him in their one fight, but.
- 26:29He's not a stand up fighter. That's not what his game is.
- 26:32He's. Got some knocks.
- 26:33Out What does he relate to when he's tired?
- 26:35What I'm telling you, what I'm telling you right now, he was
- 26:38not tired in that fight until maybe the mid, mid fifth round
- 26:42when he was really doing things that he doesn't do.
- 26:45And as far as I'm concerned, as far as I'm concerned, he was.
- 26:48Hired by Round 2 when he got when he or fish.
- 26:53Can you put that clip back on where he fails the takedown and
- 26:55Strickland jumps on it? Because in that moment, that's
- 26:58the moment, right? I'm not saying the whole fight
- 27:01was done there for Harold, but there's a moment there where he
- 27:03realizes, oh, shit, I'm in trouble.
- 27:06His gas tank's not where it should.
- 27:08I mean, because again, I think it has to do a lot with the
- 27:09weight cut right here. He knew it is what?
- 27:12Are you talking about, I mean he's a stand up for what are you
- 27:15talking? Dude, you let me tell you
- 27:17something. You're tired and.
- 27:18He's inviting him on the ground. Hold on one second.
- 27:21No, no, hold on. When you're holding guard like
- 27:23that, just so you know, because I, I'm going to, I'm going to
- 27:25tell you when you're holding guard like that, you know,
- 27:27Strickland is going to get up and he's going to try to throw
- 27:30haymakers at you. So what he was doing, he was
- 27:32trying to defend himself and make sure that he wasn't going
- 27:34to land anything, that he was going to drop a hammer on him.
- 27:37That's what he was doing. That's what he was doing.
- 27:39That's what he was doing. But he landed.
- 27:41But he. Let matters.
- 27:42You're right, it is a defensive position because you're making
- 27:45so he can't land on you. Dude he want.
- 27:47Honestly, party. Just just so everybody knows, go
- 27:50look at the fight and go look at the points.
- 27:52No, what? What do you It's cute, Cute I.
- 27:55Was gas. That's what everybody's saying.
- 27:58He was cute. Cute.
- 28:00Cute. I watched I watched the sport
- 28:02too. And I'm not going to sit here
- 28:04and say that he was gassed when I know he wasn't.
- 28:06And here's another thing that I believe here is what I believe.
- 28:09Go look at the scores and the punches and everything.
- 28:11The only thing that he won in that fight is he landed 40 more
- 28:16punches. Everything else went to
- 28:17Chimayov. Everything, control, everything
- 28:21went to Chimayov, which tells me that goes to the champion.
- 28:24There's five things they look at 5 things, punches and everything
- 28:29else. He won four out of the five.
- 28:32So who won that champion, who won that championship?
- 28:35Which to my off. So you could say whatever you
- 28:37want. You could say he's tired, he's
- 28:39gas, whatever. Dude, the judges, first of all,
- 28:42it was 10/9/10, 9:10 nine. That's what it was.
- 28:46And OK, I'm, I'm telling you he didn't win and, and I'm telling
- 28:51you what I saw. So it's, it's, it's, you know,
- 28:54you know what's great about you. All you do is giggle when you
- 28:56think you're right, when you're wrong.
- 28:57Because it's crazy that you just won't admit that.
- 29:00He didn't win. I'm telling you, I'm sitting
- 29:03here today, I'm sitting here today, and I knew what I was
- 29:07going to get into with this. And I'm telling you right now,
- 29:09Chamaya got robbed. I watched the fight, I watched
- 29:12it twice because I wanted to see everything that happened from
- 29:16the first round to the second round to the third round.
- 29:19If you look at it's 22 in the fifth round, straight up,
- 29:23Shamayoff won the fifth round. He won the fifth round and
- 29:26you're going to sit here and you're going to say, oh, well,
- 29:28he was gassed, he was gassed. No, they wanted Sean Strickland
- 29:31to win the fight they wanted. He was putting the lights out.
- 29:34I had I wanted. Strickland 3 and five and I had
- 29:38Jemaya one and four. 5 was the closest round but I had a 235
- 29:42Strickland. I had.
- 29:43I had Strickland. I had Strickland winning two and
- 29:46I had Strickland winning three. I had Chamaya winning one, four
- 29:50and five. That's what I had so and and I
- 29:53thought Shamayov with everything that you saw control and
- 29:56everything like that, which the UFC is so into looking at
- 30:00numbers and statistics, that was the statistic that completely
- 30:03was blown away. Absolute domination on the
- 30:06ground and and everything that happened.
- 30:08Control Strickland was stepping back.
- 30:11He was not controlling the fight.
- 30:12Shamayov was controlling the fight.
- 30:14So if you look at that as a champion, that's the first thing
- 30:17you look at when you're going to get, you're going to decide
- 30:20you're going to take the belt away from the champion and
- 30:22that's a if you're going to look at punches, that's all you're
- 30:24going to do. Then a lot of UFC fights should
- 30:26not have happened and and champion should not have been
- 30:28chosen. As far as I'm concerned, it's
- 30:30not how many punches that has landed.
- 30:32You're looking at a 5 point score and that's what you're
- 30:34looking at. And as far as I'm concerned, 4
- 30:36out of five. And you know, you saw that Jake,
- 30:39you saw it 4 out of the five statistics that they looked at.
- 30:42He won. The only thing he won was
- 30:45striking. That's it.
- 30:46Throwing punches. He landed more punches.
- 30:48Everything else, Chamayoff dominated in.
- 30:50So if you would ask me right now, 4 to 1, Chamayoff wins the
- 30:54championship. That's how you, that's how you
- 30:56choose who the winner is. And that's how the judges and
- 30:58the judges are horrible. You let the judges.
- 31:00Make the decisions. You let the judges make the
- 31:03decisions, the judges screw you and that's it.
- 31:07Dude, if you want me to, if you want to look up the part, the
- 31:09points and how they pick the points before the fight.
- 31:12They put the points, they pick the points.
- 31:15They, they, they have 5 things that they score with five.
- 31:18He won 4IN. Terms of the wrestling in terms
- 31:21of control time, Tamayev only had 6 to Strickland's 3, so it
- 31:25wasn't a gigantic. Disparity doesn't matter.
- 31:26He won it. I understand.
- 31:27What you're saying about the in terms of controlling the fight,
- 31:30but in terms of just advancing, that doesn't really mean
- 31:33anything because, you know, Tamayev is just.
- 31:34When you're picking the winner when it's close, it does when
- 31:37you're picking a winner. And it's just putting pressure
- 31:41on someone constantly without throwing strikes or shooting
- 31:43takedowns or. Feeling damage if a game he.
- 31:46Didn't really like perform anything in terms of taking the
- 31:49fight. He was more aggressive, but I
- 31:51don't think he really dominated or showed any damage in those
- 31:55situations. When you look at fights and I,
- 31:57and when I look at fights and I, I try to judge who the winner.
- 32:00If the fight is that close, you're looking at the scoring
- 32:03method and if you're looking at this, that was a very close
- 32:06fight, you're looking at the scoring method and there are
- 32:08five things that they're judging you on.
- 32:10He won four out of five. He's the champion.
- 32:13That's the way they look at it. That's that's how Dana White
- 32:16even said it after the fight. He says we have a 5 point
- 32:19scoring method. And then one of the media guys
- 32:21said, well, if that's just why did Tamayoff won four out of the
- 32:24five, he says, well, you got to ask the judges that.
- 32:27So that what are you going to, what are you going to sit there
- 32:29and say, Oh, you're going to make up excuses, blah, blah,
- 32:31blah, blah. I'm happy that Sean Strickland
- 32:33won. But I think there should be a
- 32:35rematch. And I, if I'm Shamaya, if I'm,
- 32:37I'm setting that up in the next two months, three months, I,
- 32:40whenever he wants to fight, I think I think he should get,
- 32:43he's definitely going to take a rematch because I, I think he's
- 32:45going to want to regain, regain the title.
- 32:47And I think after he wins it, he's going to let go of the
- 32:49title and he's going to move up and wait.
- 32:50But he nobody wants to lose a fight and not fight that guy
- 32:54again. And, and I, I'm telling you,
- 32:56Tamayo will fight him again. Absolutely him and Sean
- 32:59Strickland will fight again before the year's end.
- 33:02I probably say I, I would say September, maybe October.
- 33:07They're going to give it a couple of months, But I, I think
- 33:09it's going to happen. It's definitely going to happen.
- 33:11I cannot see him going up into A5 without giving an opportunity
- 33:14or getting an opportunity to win his belt back and that's it.
- 33:17But Jake, you're great, man. You're doing great.
- 33:20I I love when you come on, you talk mixed martial arts and you
- 33:23do so much stuff on the back end.
- 33:25We got to do something and when, when when it comes to the UFC
- 33:29and when the fights come up before the fights, we we go
- 33:33through the cards and and talk about it.
- 33:34But the card was great. I I just think that Dana White's
- 33:39reaching with their fighters and he's trying to find that like
- 33:41the next, you know, big superstar in I just don't think
- 33:45there's a a big superstar right now in the UFC that I'm want to,
- 33:48I want to see, you know, it. It's van is, is growing, but
- 33:52we've seen this before. Mighty Mouse, remember him?
- 33:55He dominated and then he couldn't find a weight class he
- 33:57didn't want to gain. He was afraid to move up in
- 34:00class because if he moved up in class, he probably would have
- 34:03got his butt whipped. So what did he do?
- 34:04He took a bigger contract somewhere else and his career
- 34:08with the UFC was over and UFC never wanted to pay him.
- 34:11They never wanted to pay him because who are you beating?
- 34:13Who are you fighting? You know, so and look at Henry
- 34:15Ceruto. Remember him Ceruto, he
- 34:18dominated his weight class. He jumped how many weight
- 34:20classes to win how many belts? So and and and he he was he was
- 34:23an all world wrestler and he won an Olympic gold medal or he
- 34:26fought in the Olympics. So it to me, it's it I I love
- 34:30what you know, mixed martial arts brings to the table.
- 34:33The problem, what I think about mixed martial arts that really
- 34:35bothers me is that when, when that big superstar is done,
- 34:40they're always trying to reach for the next guy.
- 34:42And then they have these guys, these quiet guys trying to open
- 34:45their mouths and, and do these things to be showmen.
- 34:47I just, I, I just don't think there is anybody right now the
- 34:50UFC has to offer and hopefully it changes.
- 34:53But they have these stupid freaking shows that make you
- 34:56sick to your stomach. So anyways, Jake, keep it up.
- 35:01Keep going, man. Thanks guys.
- 35:03Appreciate you, Jake. Good talking to y'all.
- 35:05Always bro. All right, all right.
- 35:08What's that smell? Hold up, what is that smell?
- 35:12What's? That smell you?
- 35:18Wow, you don't see that every day.
- 35:21It's funny, I I just got a text message from my friend and he
- 35:23was like, he's sitting right over here.
- 35:25He's a big UFC fan. He thought Chamaya got robbed
- 35:28too. So we'll see.
- 35:29I'm tired of the way these judges and if you don't knock
- 35:32him out or you don't do this and it it it I think it's horrible
- 35:35boxing too. It it's so it's all about money.
- 35:38It's so money driven now it's all about that.
- 35:40And unfortunately, these fighters don't even get any
- 35:42money. All right, so what's that smell?
- 35:45Here we go. Is Q coming in?
- 35:47Is he doing this with us? He should be.
- 35:51We'll get him in if we don't have Q, we'll.
- 35:58I think you hurt his feelings, Errol.
- 36:00What? What did I say?
- 36:01I don't know something about Shamayev I'm assuming.
- 36:04Really. I thought Shamayev is.
- 36:07I thought Shamayev shouldn't have won that fight.
- 36:09I mean, I thought Shamayev should have won that fight, but
- 36:11whatever. You told me that when when like
- 36:15I think over a day and a half ago, you were talking about
- 36:17Shamayev having to win the fight.
- 36:18So I you've been talking about this for since the fight?
- 36:22Yeah, you know. Yeah.
- 36:23Is Q coming in? Are you coming in?
- 36:25Q All right, we'll just do well. What's that smell?
- 36:31There he is. Thirsty.
- 36:35Are you getting a drink? No, Did you?
- 36:40No. All right, So we'll go.
- 36:43We'll go Speedy. We'll go Q.
- 36:46We'll go fish. We'll go me.
- 36:48Actually, You know what? I want to.
- 36:50I don't want to go last. I'm tired.
- 36:51I'll go. I'll go first.
- 36:53No. I'll go.
- 36:54I'll go, I'll go 2nd, I'll go 2nd, I'll go speedy, I'll go
- 36:59fish, I'll go queue. How about that?
- 37:02So I'm I'm first on your. First, yeah, all.
- 37:05Right here we go. So I'm going to actually bring
- 37:07back a story that fish, I believe you had either a dial it
- 37:10up or a whip around with college football and it was the Notre
- 37:14Dame USC rivalry shut down. And now all of a sudden the two
- 37:19schools are they want to bring it back after all this Notre
- 37:22Dame. Guess what?
- 37:22They want this guarantee now that they're keeping the College
- 37:26Football Playoff at 12 teams. Notre Dame is going to be no
- 37:29matter what if they're ranked in the top 12 in the College
- 37:31football playoffs. So they go what they want.
- 37:34And USC obviously is complaining about, oh, we want to play this
- 37:37non conference schedule of teams that aren't in the college that
- 37:40are better suited for wins in the College Football Playoff.
- 37:44OK, Wouldn't Notre Dame be one of those teams that's been
- 37:46consistently there? So both schools are wanting now
- 37:48they're both back tracking out what they're you're saying when
- 37:51it comes to the rivalry, this traditional rivalry, they want
- 37:54to keep going and all of a sudden they want to bring back.
- 37:56So make up your mind, schools. Make up your mind conferences.
- 37:58Oh, wait, Notre Dame's not in one.
- 37:59So what does it smell like? Well, it smells like USC legend
- 38:03Mark Sanchez and one of his famous sideline hot dogs with
- 38:08the sweat of his butt topped with the cat food that Rex Ryan
- 38:13loves to eat. And why not?
- 38:15Well, that's a fluffy steak on top of it too, there.
- 38:16You go I like the fluffy. I like the fluffy all right my
- 38:22what's that smell goes to Giannis Milwaukee Bucks are open
- 38:25for business on trade calls finally offers for two time MVP
- 38:30Giannis the The Greek Freak entering the NBA draft combine
- 38:35and over six weeks away from the draft league and team sources
- 38:40told ESPN. There is expected to be a robust
- 38:44market for Mr. Giannis services and ownership and front office
- 38:51officials expect to maintain their trade deadline asking
- 38:54price of young blue chip talent and or surplus of draft picks.
- 39:00Sources say now they had a chance to trade Giannis before
- 39:05the season started even at the trade deadline.
- 39:07I've heard through the Grapevine that the Timberwolves, we're
- 39:12willing to offer him. We'll offer them five first
- 39:15round unprotected draft picks and a player, I don't know who
- 39:20it was, but and a player and they did not make the trade.
- 39:24Now, what do you think you're going to get out of this?
- 39:26I, I, I, I don't know. And Giannis is in the driver's
- 39:29seat. Maybe he didn't want to go to
- 39:30the Timberwolves. Maybe that was one of the teams
- 39:32he didn't want to, he didn't want to go out West.
- 39:33I don't know. But I, I, I, I honestly don't
- 39:37know what it smells like. It, it smells like Giannis is
- 39:39going to be in control where he goes.
- 39:42And it doesn't matter. It's going to, if it's on the
- 39:44East Coast. And even if it is the Knicks and
- 39:47Knicks, let's say the Knicks win the championship, I don't think
- 39:49the Knicks are going to have to give up much to get Giannis
- 39:52because Giannis has a no trade clause and Giannis is going to
- 39:56be in the driver's seat. So you know what it smells like?
- 39:58It smells like my butt right now because I got to take a dump.
- 40:01Yeah, make sure you do it before Mark Sanchez runs into it.
- 40:03Well, I don't know, but hopefully I'll keep Mark Sanchez
- 40:06away from my ass, OK? It's enough that when he gets
- 40:09drunk he does stupid things on and off the fields.
- 40:11So. Fluffy steak not working out in
- 40:14that stomach. Well, hopefully that fluffy
- 40:17steak is not cut with the knife that he.
- 40:18Used I didn't have steak, I had What did I eat?
- 40:21I don't even fluffy chicken. No, I had no chicken, no steak,
- 40:24no meat, no nothing. But I like Fluffy.
- 40:27I like fluffy. We know you like fluffy fluff,
- 40:30Diddy and the fan, you know? Do it better.
- 40:33That's good. I've got one for you which is.
- 40:37She was worn out, depressing. Look at them.
- 40:40It's super depressing about these New York Knicks.
- 40:43So I'm super excited about the Knicks, how they're playing on
- 40:46the court. But they still have the owner
- 40:48named James Dolan. Well, the now Pulitzer Prize
- 40:53winning Pablo Torre reports came out with kind of a bombshell
- 40:57story. We might have to talk on it more
- 41:00if it develops, Errol, where the Knicks are apparently using
- 41:04surveillance on their own fans and not just fans, but beat
- 41:09writers. Here's a story.
- 41:11So obviously we saw a couple of months ago, there was a story
- 41:15that Dolan had been instructing his guys to look at social
- 41:20media. They went after a 14 year old
- 41:23kid in Colorado and swatted him or something like that, which is
- 41:27just crazy from behavior by Dolan because he's so insecure.
- 41:32And apparently it's gotten to the point where there are former
- 41:36Nicks beat reporters that are being interviewed by Pablo Torre
- 41:40reports. A few years back I had a report
- 41:43and then I get a call from the Knicks shortly after that.
- 41:45I know who your source is and I'm like, I don't play guess the
- 41:49source and the person is like, I know this is your source.
- 41:53I asked where is this coming from?
- 41:54Why are you so certain of this? The person says, I know you had
- 41:57a conversation with this executive.
- 41:59I said, you know what this conversation was?
- 42:02I was just offering condolences on the death and his family.
- 42:05And the person said to me, would you have offered condolences to
- 42:08that person if he wasn't your source?
- 42:10I said, yes, that's what a human being is.
- 42:13I said, how did you know? I spoke with that person?
- 42:15There was nobody around and the person said, you know us, we're
- 42:19always watching. Holy crap.
- 42:23James Dolan needs to be investigated.
- 42:26You can't be doing this to your own fans.
- 42:28The fans are giving you so much money.
- 42:30Just look, you play bad jazz music.
- 42:33You pay for people to come see you and and you have a team that
- 42:37was inherited from your dad. You have this huge thing you do
- 42:40great charity with. Keep doing that, but let the
- 42:43fans be upset when they're upset and happy when they're happy.
- 42:47Stop being so damn sensitive. What does it sound smell like?
- 42:51It smells like somebody needs to go get some French fries and a
- 42:56hamburger. All right, Q.
- 42:58I'm gonna go with There's been reports by New York Sportsman
- 43:03about Marx and other talking haze online about the trade that
- 43:08Jason Tatum could be possibly that target and making this
- 43:12massive trade out of Boston. But everything coming out of
- 43:15Boston and insider the beat come out of boxes is that Jason Tatum
- 43:19was untouchable and that that and in fact that Jenny Brown is
- 43:23more of an option of trade calls in regards to and seeing any
- 43:28interest from other teams and people who are putting out kick
- 43:33bait wild takes such as Jason Tatum is up for to be traded for
- 43:38Yannis. It smells like a pack of poop.
- 43:45Just so you know, that was said about Carmelo Anthony when he
- 43:50was over there in Denver that he was untouchable.
- 43:52They were not going to trade him and then he doesn't want to be
- 43:54there anymore. And and as far as I'm concerned,
- 43:56as far as I'm concerned with your thoughts with Jason Tatum
- 44:00not going, that's your opinion and as far?
- 44:03As it's it's, it's probably available on the Internet dude,
- 44:07I don't know why you think. Kevin, Kevin Garnett talked
- 44:11about it on his show. So did Paul Pierce.
- 44:14They both did and they have more.
- 44:16They have they're more connected to I, I feel with the Celtics
- 44:19thing you are and they said it. Rajon Rondo was on a podcast
- 44:23recently. He said the same thing.
- 44:25So they all think that it's it's if if there's anybody that's
- 44:30going to be traded, it's Jason Tatum and Jason Tatum is not
- 44:33healthy. He is not healthy.
- 44:35You tear. Your killers.
- 44:37OK. All right, I beg to differ on
- 44:40that and we'll see what happens, but.
- 44:42I know you wanted to be traded, but.
- 44:44I don't. I don't care if he is or he
- 44:46isn't. That's as far as I'm concerned
- 44:48it. Was about 30 years.
- 44:50I'm telling you what I read and I'm telling you what I've
- 44:53watched. I'm telling you what these
- 44:55Celtic guys have said and I'm not throwing bull crap.
- 44:59Go, look, go look it up. It's there.
- 45:01It's right there in blue letters and not green letters, blue
- 45:05letters that Jason, if, if there's anybody that's going to
- 45:07be traded for Giannis, it's going to be Jason Tatum.
- 45:10And that's what has been said. You could say whatever you want,
- 45:13whatever you're reading. Where are you reading this?
- 45:15Who? Who are you?
- 45:16Reading this give. Me a name I I want.
- 45:18To read it's all over. OK, so I'm gonna, I'm gonna let
- 45:23you do this. Go check out Kevin Garnett's and
- 45:26Paul Prius's podcast. I don't want to listen to
- 45:28players they understand they're more do whatever it takes to get
- 45:31they're not doing they're not giving you real time analysis.
- 45:34You think Kevin Garnett, minority ownership in the
- 45:37Minnesota Timberwoods is in the board meetings also sentence.
- 45:40I I know that Kevin Garnett is very, very close to the
- 45:43executives and Brad Stevens. Yeah, I guess I do believe that,
- 45:47yeah, 100%. And, and right now, I'm not
- 45:52saying that. I'm saying that I know that him
- 45:54and Brad Stevens have a very good.
- 45:55You know, you know what they say, Q Anything is possible.
- 45:58Anything is. Possible I you.
- 46:00Know that's what Kevin Garnett says, at least, yeah.
- 46:02Yeah. Exactly.
- 46:04I also know that he thinks that Carmelo Anthony's wife tastes
- 46:08like honey in our Cheerios. Anyways, that is it.
- 46:12Ex-wife. Well, whatever.
- 46:16I didn't say that he plays power forward.
- 46:18I said that he played power forward when he played when the
- 46:20Knicks went 154 games. He.
- 46:22Played the stretch 4, you see, he said.
- 46:24Whatever, dude. You want to sit here?
- 46:26You want to sit here and argue? I, I said.
- 46:29I was telling. You what I'm telling you, I'm
- 46:31saying I'm saying that he played the stretch 4.
- 46:34So you can sit here and say that he never did and he never lost
- 46:37weight and that's fine. I, I, I showed you and you
- 46:40argue, so that's that's fine. No, I said great.
- 46:43I know what he played. I know he played small forward.
- 46:46I know he most of his career played small forward, but as he,
- 46:49as I said, as he transformed into a bigger and and and a
- 46:53stronger athlete, he went to the four stretch 4, so whatever.
- 46:57Did you not? Did you tell why?
- 46:59Oh, because somebody got injured.
- 47:01He was. Faster he lost 15 to 20 lbs and
- 47:04he was better go look at go by the way.
- 47:08By the way, if you look at that year when he moved to the
- 47:11stretch for he had his best year as an NBA player.
- 47:13Just so you know, Just so you know.
- 47:14Because he was injured. Just so you know, just so you
- 47:17know, I mean. Anyways, D'Antoni was a genius
- 47:20offense. Just so you know, just so you.
- 47:22Know I thought he was a genius. Just so you know.
- 47:25This year for D'Antoni. Thank you to all the fans, me
- 47:28yelling and screaming and trying to laugh over the giggles and
- 47:33and try to get people rolling on the show.
- 47:35Thank you to all the new fans that have tuned into our show on
- 47:38TikTok and Instagram. Thank you to Sam.
- 47:42I know Sam's been in and out tonight.
- 47:43So thank you to him for all the work that he's doing on the back
- 47:46end. Thank you to Nathan.
- 47:47Thank you to all the YouTube fans and, and, and thank you to
- 47:50Zach for you know, helping us out on the as far as the back
- 47:53end of the YouTube channel and thank you to all the Spotify and
- 47:57Apple fans for keeping us up in the top 100 on the video and
- 48:01audio. Thank you very much, Speedy.
- 48:02Who do we have on Thursday? All right.
- 48:04Joining is at 8:20 is former NBA center Greg Oden and also his
- 48:08director Richie Comptum. I'll get that pronunciation from
- 48:12Nathan. It's one of his guys.
- 48:13They both will be joining at the same time.
- 48:15Yeah, I've never interviewed Greg Oden.
- 48:18A lot of people think he's one of the biggest busts in NBA
- 48:21history, but that's because of injury.
- 48:24Unfortunately. He had a really bad foot problem
- 48:27when he came into the NBA. If anybody knows the story.
- 48:29So love to hear what Greg Owen is doing.
- 48:31I guess he's doing a documentary or a movie.
- 48:34So interesting. Greg is a guy that I'm, I'm
- 48:37rooting for. I know he's had a rough, rough
- 48:4010 years as we all know. But I'm interested to hear what
- 48:45he has to say about his his, his past and and now his future.
- 48:49Anyways, so that'll be Thursday for all the fans that don't know
- 48:53we are alive. Every single Mondays and
- 48:55Thursdays at 7:00 PM. All right, I'm going, I'm gone.

- 49:05nice pluffy. Chicken let's.
- 49:07Pluff out of here because I got a pluff and dump.
- 49:10Good night. There's no worldwide sports
- 49:13radio network. Radio Network.
- 49:14Radio Network.
