- 0:03Jasmine, oolong, green and white.
- 0:07Long ago, these four tees were skilfully brewed at the Blissful Brew.
- 0:11Then, everything changed when the shop's popularity threatened its existence.
- 0:17All Mr.
- 0:17Okran, the shop's owner and teammaster, could do was to recruit four teenage orphans to learn his trade and staff his shop.
- 0:26A year has passed since the orphans were hired, and although their skills have progressed, they still have a lot to learn before they can brew anything.
- 0:34But I believe that they have the potential to make the Blissful Brew the greatest tea shop in the world.
- 0:41Last time on Benders and Brews an Avatar legends podcast.
- 0:45So I got Madame Yang in a home, so I'm going to Earth, bend a lid on top of the hole that I just put madame Yang.
- 0:53Let me out.
- 0:55Let me out this instant.
- 0:57I'm going to go talk to that guy that said he was with Madame Yang in Alaska.
- 1:00So I opened the door, or I let him go first.
- 1:03He opens the door, and immediately a fist flies out and just punches it right square in the face.
- 1:12And then they grab him, pulls him into the room, slams him up against the wall, in which case you reseal.
- 1:20Whoa.
- 1:20Bill, we have a bit of a problem.
- 1:23We're running out of ingredients.
- 1:25While it just so happens I know where some ingredients are, they may or may not have been launched into the topiary maze in the backyard.
- 1:33We find one card, we can find them all.
- 1:35How good are you with Mazes OMN natural bill starts leaving to go to the maze.
- 1:41I'm headed to the maze.
- 1:43Are you going to go into the maze today? Yeah, I'm going right just to forewarn you, there are rumors that a spirit lives inside this maze.
- 1:53The spirit is a lost things, and they say if you find it, it will help you find something that you've lost, but only if you can solve its riddle.
- 2:04You successfully just kind of start plowing through these walls in this maze.
- 2:10It just kind of walks around and starts looking for a crate.
- 2:15You quickly find the crate.
- 2:16Is this alcohol, too? I mean, it can be if you supply your own.
- 2:23Bring us a raspberry coal gel.
- 2:29This is quite delectable.
- 2:31Mika, who is currently wandering through the maze where are you going? Center of the maze.
- 2:37She finds a strange glowing, like a cloudy whisk that leads her through the maze.
- 2:43You are able to find your way to the center of the maze.
- 2:46And in the center of the maze is a spirit.
- 2:51Its head turns like an all the way around to look at you with this giant eye.
- 2:58My name is Lucide.
- 3:01Welcome to The Saint Caroline.
- 3:10And welcome back to Episode Ten Benders, Benders Cruise.
- 3:17Nice.
- 3:21What's your question? Okay, so today's question for you guys, for your characters, is if your character was trapped on a desert island, what are three things that they definitely would have with them that they probably brought along.
- 3:37A lot of people are like, what are three things you brought with you? And I'm like, well, I wasn't planning on being stuck on a desert island.
- 3:43So in reality or my favorite answer, and you're not allowed to use it because obviously it doesn't fit this timeline, which is a car door because it's going to get hot.
- 3:52I want to roll the window down.
- 3:56So I'm going to start like I heard it on Zoom.
- 4:01You remember zoom on PBS.
- 4:04It's like a sketch show, a kid's sketch.
- 4:07It's great.
- 4:07Anyways, Connor playing Brock.
- 4:09I like to make sure to specify that at the beginning of the episodes, what would Brock bring along to a desert island to, I don't know, make sure he's prepared, survive, have some fun.
- 4:23So this is stuff he's bringing with him with the forest.
- 4:28If he's going to be on a deserted island.
- 4:29Yeah, let's go with that.
- 4:31Let's just say Brock is like, oh, man, this airbender picked me up and is flying me around and he's going to just drop me in the desert.
- 4:42Okay.
- 4:43And that's going to be my bachelor thing.
- 4:46Like a bachelor party concept.
- 4:49You're all by yourself.
- 4:50It's not really a party.
- 4:51And he's like, I can bring three things.
- 4:53That's how much the airbender said he could carry along with myself.
- 4:57All right.
- 4:59So I think Brock would bring a canteen full of water, a clay mold, like a brick mold, because he would earth bend.
- 5:16He would use mix the water with the sand, with the clay sand that's under on the shoreline and earthbend himself.
- 5:25Like a little boat.
- 5:28Then a giant fan, like they have on a fan boat.
- 5:33Sure.
- 5:34So you're going to make yourself, like, a little skiff, like make myself a fan boat and get off the island in a day.
- 5:40Okay.
- 5:41All right.
- 5:42Because we're on an island.
- 5:43Yeah.
- 5:44For some reason, I was just imagining, like, right in the middle of the desert, I'm like, Why is he got a boat on Avatar? They kind of have, like, boat things.
- 5:51Is that what he's talking about? No, you're on an island.
- 5:53I forgot.
- 5:54Okay, that makes sense.
- 5:55That makes a lot more sense.
- 5:56Not a desert island, it's a deserted island.
- 6:00Okay, well, we can I think the reason most people say a desert island is just because it, like, focuses it.
- 6:06But I guess you could say, why would he need a boat in a desert? Yeah, no, you're right.
- 6:12I get you.
- 6:13All right.
- 6:15Dave playing Guo.
- 6:17What would Guo have on a desert island? Deserted island, either or well, he bring his satchel.
- 6:28Oh, yeah.
- 6:29It's not a purse, it's a manly bag.
- 6:32That's right.
- 6:34It's a bit pricey, but he's glad he bought it.
- 6:37Sure.
- 6:38And in that bag, he would have probably a columba, keep him entertained, pass a time.
- 6:49And also you would have dilbert.
- 6:51Oh, yes, absolutely.
- 6:55I mean, it's better than talking to a volleyball.
- 6:58That's right.
- 6:59It's a much less deserted island when you got somebody with you.
- 7:02It's a good point.
- 7:03I like that.
- 7:03I like that a lot.
- 7:06Bill played by Cameron.
- 7:08What would you have with you on a desert now? You're a big Survivor fan.
- 7:12Cameron I know what he's going to have.
- 7:14His staff.
- 7:15His boat staff.
- 7:18No.
- 7:19Okay.
- 7:20You sleep with it.
- 7:22The staff will be changed to be a fishing pole.
- 7:27Okay.
- 7:29So fishing gear would be one.
- 7:31He would be using his staff as a fishing pole.
- 7:33Okay.
- 7:34Okay.
- 7:35He probably sharpen one and also make it as a spear, too.
- 7:38For spear fishing.
- 7:40Sure.
- 7:41His second item would be a tarp, a giant tarp.
- 7:45So he has this shelter situation as well as a rain collector.
- 7:49And his third one would be a giant pot.
- 7:53Like a giant pot.
- 7:55Bag of pot.
- 7:59Metal.
- 8:00Metal, iron pot.
- 8:01Correct.
- 8:01Yes.
- 8:02What are you going to do with the pot? I have no idea.
- 8:05Okay.
- 8:07I don't know.
- 8:08Cook things in it? Sure.
- 8:10Fish soup every night.
- 8:11Fish soup.
- 8:13Boil the water.
- 8:15Fish head soup.
- 8:17Soup, stews, coconuts reduction.
- 8:23Deserted island like cook off show.
- 8:26Oh, my gosh.
- 8:27He's heard that you just kind of can toss anything into a stew and it'll taste good.
- 8:33That's often true.
- 8:34And I mean, considering that he won't have any other sources of food, I feel like he could put anything in the pot and it probably tastes good.
- 8:41It will eventually, if you have enough and he's getting fish, so yeah.
- 8:50Awesome.
- 8:50Also, if you got lobsters, rock lobsters, you can toss those in the pot.
- 8:54Sure.
- 8:55Awesome.
- 8:56Cool.
- 8:56Sounds like he's going to be eating good.
- 8:58For sure.
- 9:00Mikayla playing.
- 9:01Mika, you good over there? My eyes watering.
- 9:04I saw that.
- 9:05I don't know why.
- 9:06Are you going to bring some tissues to the island with you? No.
- 9:09Okay.
- 9:10What is Mika going to bring to this deserted island? Only three things I can bring a person, I suppose.
- 9:20I'm going to bring my dad.
- 9:21Okay.
- 9:22You're going to torture someone else, dang them to live there with you.
- 9:25Oh, my word.
- 9:33My dad.
- 9:34He's my dad.
- 9:37He signed up for me, literally.
- 9:39Yeah.
- 9:40All right, so you're going to bring your dad? Yeah.
- 9:44Mactuk? Yeah.
- 9:45He's a very good survival expert.
- 9:49Oh.
- 9:49So here's going to make him too aggravated.
- 9:51I see where it is now.
- 9:53Okay.
- 9:54I'm also going to see I feel like I don't really need to bring anything.
- 10:03A giant palm frond so that he can fan you with it.
- 10:06I'm sure that's already on the island there's a book titled how to Survive on a Desert island.
- 10:13Four dummies.
- 10:16No, because my water bending skills, I can just do whatever I want with that.
- 10:29Right.
- 10:29I also have my blood vending skills, so I could just catch fish that way.
- 10:36When I initially thought of this question, I didn't really think too through the idea of a water vendor being stuck on a desert island.
- 10:43It doesn't really mean much for a water bender.
- 10:45Honestly.
- 10:46This challenge is hardest for Bill door.
- 10:48Yeah, absolutely.
- 10:49The non vendor is just like, I got to do everything I have to survive while you can just bend everything.
- 10:55Maybe Bill should bring a flying bison whistle just in case.
- 11:04I feel like as survival, I wouldn't really need it, but I want the company.
- 11:08My dad would make a great company.
- 11:10Right.
- 11:11And then, like I said, with my other sales, I could either get off the island or catch my food fairly easily, so maybe it brings something sweet.
- 11:22Okay, I was just going to say maybe because you brought a human, it counts as three spends.
- 11:28All three spends that works out for you, a human and something sweet.
- 11:34We'll go with that.
- 11:35All right, sounds good.
- 11:36Either a fruit or candy or something like some kind of candy, like chocolate.
- 11:41Okay, cool enough to share with your dad or just for you? Yeah, obviously.
- 11:46Even best friend.
- 11:48Okay, fair enough.
- 11:48Okay, cool.
- 11:50All right.
- 11:50Awesome.
- 11:51Well, now that we know what everybody would bring with them on a deserted island we will not be visiting a deserted island, but we will be jumping back into Betterson Bruce, an Avatar Legends podcast as we left off.
- 12:19of this spirit being that sits before you on top of a rock in the middle.
- 12:25It's more of actually an actual rock pedestal put.
- 12:31It like a fancy decorative piece.
- 12:33I'm not a rocker.
- 12:35That's right.
- 12:35Too bad.
- 12:36And it is just referred to itself as uside.
- 12:41And it is based on context that you got earlier by the servant that told you that there is a spirit of lost things that resides inside of this maze.
- 12:52You assume that might have been what you have just found.
- 12:55And it sits before you and it says, welcome to my abode.
- 13:01What brings you here? Apparently you do.
- 13:06Oh, yeah.
- 13:08Did he I'm assuming I mean, there's a little misty thing.
- 13:13Follow that and let me hear.
- 13:15Spirit whisks, useful spirit wisps.
- 13:18And those bear adds you hear to my place of residing.
- 13:22Yeah, looks like it.
- 13:24Well, may I ask you a question? Yeah, but I might not answer it.
- 13:31Fair enough.
- 13:32Have you lost anything recently? Or maybe not so recently? I mean, I feel like the answer to that question is going to be yes, no matter who you ask.
- 13:45Now, most people do answer yes once they're done freaking out and seeing a spirit.
- 13:50Of course, apparently seeing spirits in your world is not a very common thing.
- 13:55No, it's not really at all.
- 13:58That's so unfortunate.
- 13:59Here in the spirit world, that's pretty much all you see.
- 14:02So you could say you not seeing human choice.
- 14:09Sure.
- 14:10Yeah, it is.
- 14:11Okay.
- 14:11We choose not to, usually.
- 14:13Yeah.
- 14:13But here you are.
- 14:14I'm standing right in front of me.
- 14:16Yeah.
- 14:17Very strange.
- 14:18Very strange.
- 14:19I must ask you, what is it that you have lost? Something of importance to you, perhaps? I've lost a few things of importance for me.
- 14:32How does this work? Does it go by your deepest desire or your biggest want or your have you heard of me? Said you've heard of the day, can help you find things? I heard.
- 14:45That's all I heard about you, actually.
- 14:49That's so weird.
- 14:51I think people would remember other things other than just the genie that grants you wishes.
- 14:57But albeit they are correct, I can help you find the thing that you've lost that's most important to you.
- 15:06So now my sock is most important to you? I've heard stupidest things.
- 15:13Like what? I've had people ask me to help them find people they've lost.
- 15:19And by lost, I mean for good.
- 15:22For good.
- 15:27And I'm like, yeah, right here in the dirt, they're dead.
- 15:32It doesn't change.
- 15:33I don't bring people back to life.
- 15:35I just help you find them.
- 15:38You know what I mean? Like, it seems so foolish, in my opinion.
- 15:43So I shouldn't ask you where a dead person is because in the round at this place.
- 15:51And that will be the end of it.
- 15:53Well, I can take you there, but I couldn't talk to them.
- 15:56It means the spirit world.
- 15:58Yeah, but their spirit would be there.
- 16:00No.
- 16:01Okay.
- 16:01It doesn't work like that.
- 16:03Okay, but they're really so you're saying there's a chance? If you want to risk it I don't think so.
- 16:13Okay.
- 16:14But before you do find what is lost, you have to answer my riddle.
- 16:21Okay.
- 16:22And before I tell you the riddle, you have to agree to the terms.
- 16:27You tell me the terms before I agree to the riddle? Of course I will.
- 16:32Okay.
- 16:33The terms are this if you successfully answer my riddle then I will take you to something that you've lost.
- 16:41You just have to tell me what it is that you wish to find.
- 16:45But if you get it wrong, you will find that something has gone missing of great importance.
- 16:53Or not.
- 16:55I could deal with missing my sock.
- 16:57Happens all the time.
- 16:58I don't know.
- 16:59He sounded pretty intrigued about finding a sock a minute ago, but dealers chilly.
- 17:06I'm the dealer.
- 17:09Okay.
- 17:09I agree to your terms.
- 17:13Good.
- 17:14It's not like I'll die.
- 17:15No, I don't kill people.
- 17:17I just take an item off their person or maybe something back at home, but maybe not my mask that I'm wearing.
- 17:24That's kind of important right now.
- 17:26People are looking for me.
- 17:29It would be like a Batman situation where it's like, if I didn't kill them, I put them in a position to die.
- 17:35Right.
- 17:38If you say a Batman situation, I would call it a Brock and Madame Yang situation.
- 17:43Why would you go for their lungs out of all the things you need? Your lungs? I know, but then they die of, like, showing them versus if you just don't take their hearts, I feel like that'd be less painful than their lungs.
- 17:58Or you can take their liver because you can live without I don't know, there was this side to you.
- 18:02Okay.
- 18:03Anyway, it's important to think through these things.
- 18:06If you ever find a genie.
- 18:07A lot of times people think immediately to, like, Disney Aladdin, but in reality, the DJs were dark.
- 18:14Like, you'd ask for something, like, you'd be like, oh, I want gold.
- 18:17And then next thing you know, they dump a bunch of gold on top of you and you die.
- 18:21Well, I'm just saying, taking a lung vet of a person versus their brain or their heart, like, if you take their brain, there's brain dead.
- 18:28If you take their lungs, they literally die of fixation.
- 18:33That's just going to be a long term death.
- 18:36Eventually, one day they'll split up.
- 18:38Yeah.
- 18:40Okay, so with that in mind, he reiterates.
- 18:44He says, I would not take anything biological off of you, if that makes you feel better.
- 18:52I wasn't really worried about it.
- 19:08altered, because immediately after making a deal, he's already changed the conditions.
- 19:14How far can he push these conditions? He makes the rules, apparently.
- 19:18It's funny because I did read that someone said all contracts are editable.
- 19:23You can literally write on the contract and change it, but that's all before you sign it.
- 19:29Anyways, he looks at you and he says, all right, my riddle is what can be seen during the day but is lost in the night? Your shadow.
- 19:44Good.
- 19:45Did you already hear that one? I may have heard of them, but that was the first thing that popped in my head.
- 19:53I mean, it makes no sense.
- 19:54Sure.
- 19:55Yeah.
- 19:55The sun.
- 19:57I spent a lot of time trying to find a riddle that had the concept of something being lost in it because it fit the nearest very good.
- 20:09Well, that was quite impressive.
- 20:13Some people that come here don't always get it right.
- 20:30I lost something while ago.
- 20:33Not that long ago.
- 20:35Kind of a while ago? Yes.
- 20:40If I want to be able to find it for you.
- 20:42Well, how specific do I have to be? I'm not like a jerk trying to take advantage of these well, I'm just saying.
- 20:54Okay.
- 20:55The thing I'm talking about is I came across a little fox dog pup.
- 21:02And so if I would say, oh, I lost a fox dog, would you give me any one or the one I lost if you want me to find the one you lost.
- 21:27He literally stands up off his pedestal and from behind the pedestal runs the fox.
- 21:34It comes out and it runs up to you.
- 21:37Yeah.
- 21:38And I start crying happy tears.
- 21:40Yeah, absolutely.
- 21:41I finally have a friend again.
- 21:42What am I? None of you are here.
- 21:52Ushidae.
- 21:53A tear kind of drips down its cheek and he says I say, he it's a spirit.
- 21:59It doesn't really have, they say.
- 22:01I don't know.
- 22:02It is always just that much more pleasant when Zord manages to solve the riddle.
- 22:08You humans get so excited when you find something you've lost.
- 22:13Do you need a hug? No.
- 22:14Okay.
- 22:15Please.
- 22:16No.
- 22:16Okay.
- 22:17You got that guy with the sock.
- 22:19He was so excited.
- 22:21I would say, though, the people that ask to find dead people, they also usually cry, but I don't think it's just not the same way.
- 22:32Well, you can't really blame them.
- 22:36Fair point.
- 22:37Maybe they have a little bit of closure.
- 22:39Oh, well, I guess I've helped them with something.
- 22:41They usually seem very angry after the crying for quite a bit.
- 22:45Yeah.
- 22:47Stage is a grief and all you humans are, so I don't quite understand, but in this moment, maybe this is why you do that.
- 22:55You can understand our emotions.
- 22:57I never thought of a Delhi Isabelle.
- 23:00It makes sense.
- 23:01Why else would you do it? Do you like a crowd? You like to keep shiny things? Sometimes that's what I take off the people that don't get my riddles correct.
- 23:10Okay, but I digress.
- 23:13This is my place of residing, and you got here.
- 23:19Oh, so you want me to leave? Yeah.
- 23:23I was going to take a nap.
- 23:25Mother weirdo walks in and asks for help finding things, but I get to take my thing.
- 23:33No, I mean, it's your thing that you lost, so now it's not lucky.
- 23:41Just follow the spirit wisps that you saw and you came in here and they'll lead you out.
- 23:47Okay.
- 23:48All right.
- 23:49So I'm going to walk out carrying my little puppy a little bit, maybe a little bit too tight, but it's going to hurt because I don't want to lose it again, and the spirit doesn't take me all the way back out of the main realm.
- 24:01Yeah.
- 24:01So basically, you follow the spirit whisk.
- 24:04And when it sort of like whisps away right at the end of it.
- 24:08So as soon as you step to the end of it, you turn back around and it's all gone.
- 24:11I mean, it's just regular maze now.
- 24:13Everything turns back to normal.
- 24:14Yeah.
- 24:14Interesting.
- 24:15Yeah.
- 24:16Okay, I'm just going to find my way out then.
- 24:19Sure.
- 24:20You have your foxdog back? Yes.
- 24:22Okay.
- 24:23That you lost.
- 24:23Which, again, listeners out there will find out more about in the prequel episodes.
- 24:30Is there a name for the fox stuff? Well, apparently not, because she didn't even know what to tell the spirit to help her find it.
- 24:40It was kind of a fleeting moment we had, but it does seem to recognize you, and it seems very excited to be with you.
- 24:48Okay, well, I'm going to walk back towards the direction I think the entrance is and then hang out around the entrance.
- 24:58All right.
- 24:58You do that after a little bit, but for the most part, you're able to figure it out.
- 25:04Eventually you hear voices coming from the party, so you're able to kind of follow.
- 25:08It's easier to find your way back than it would be to find your way to the center, because you can just follow the sound of the party from the mage.
- 25:14Can I see the Blissful brew? If you kind of move a little bit in one direction around the house just like a little ways, like, you could still pretty much be touching the maze, but as long as you go around a little bit yeah.
- 25:30You can see it off in the distance.
- 25:31You see it is very popular right now.
- 25:34It is popping.
- 25:35There are so many people there right now.
- 25:37Well, I'm not going to go that direction.
- 25:39I'm very excited.
- 25:40I'm worried something if you find me.
- 25:42Okay.
- 25:43I'm not only playing this game to win, but I'm playing this game to live.
- 25:48Okay.
- 25:49Matter of life and death and also a little bit money.
- 25:53Yeah.
- 25:54So I'm just going to hang out then with my puppy and play with it.
- 25:59Okay.
- 26:00Maybe train it.
- 26:01So you're in the backyard, which is where the maze is.
- 26:04The one thing that does I was just going to point this out to you, but there's not a whole lot of people back here now.
- 26:09You almost wonder if maybe a lot of them actually have gone.
- 26:12Seeing the commotion over at the Blissful Brew booth, probably headed in that direction out of curiosity.
- 26:19So you're pretty secluded for the most part.
- 26:23There are maybe a couple of people back there, but not too many.
- 26:26I like it that way.
- 26:28Okay, cool.
- 26:29I mean, nobody's bothering you about your dog, so you're good to go.
- 26:31Or me.
- 26:32Yeah, exactly.
- 26:37Brock, where are you at? You trapped Madame Yang.
- 26:44You trapped her associate who came with her.
- 26:47You went back out to kind of mingle with the party, where you ended up running into Bill.
- 26:52Bill asked you about the ingredients that you helped lose.
- 26:57You told him about the maze.
- 26:59He went to the maze.
- 27:01That was the last thing that you experienced.
- 27:04Yeah.
- 27:04So what are you off to? What are you doing? Well, I was chilling, mingling around.
- 27:09I saw a big commotion going on outside over by the Blissful Bruce.
- 27:14I'll go check it out over there, see how my compatriots are doing sure.
- 27:18With all this huge crowd, and try and have a little chat with them while I'm over there.
- 27:25Okay, sounds good.
- 27:27Yeah.
- 27:28You head over that way and yeah.
- 27:29Everybody.
- 27:30It's a pretty big crowd, and it actually takes you a little bit of time to even get up to the booth itself.
- 27:37It's just so popular.
- 27:38So many people are gathered around getting drinks, and you can see over top of them because Brock is a pretty tall guy.
- 27:46You can see over top of all these rich people, between their top hats and things, that Bill and Guo are really just hammering hard at getting things filled up.
- 27:56They're having some laughs with the customers.
- 27:59Noticed that Wohan seems to be filling some of the tea with a little bit something special.
- 28:05He's got, like, some bottles or something.
- 28:06Or something.
- 28:07You're not entirely sure what it is, but you're like, oh, I don't recognize that from back at the Blissful brew.
- 28:13That's what you notice.
- 28:14But eventually, you do work your way to the front of the line.
- 28:17All right, so am I still wearing my mask? Yeah.
- 28:21All right.
- 28:22So I go up to Guajan and Bill door.
- 28:25I give them one of those double winks real quick.
- 28:27There it is.
- 28:28Otherwise known as a blink.
- 28:31At this point, Bill scene at all, bill has seen every possible form of wink, blink Bill's become.
- 28:41So I go up to him, and I was like, hey, guys, I got to be quick because there's this huge line behind me, but I don't know how to explain it real quick, but Madame Yang and the associate guy, they're trapped, and I know where they are.
- 28:57What should we do? Why? So I may or may not have caused the ground to disappear from beneath Madame Yang and slid a lid on top of her.
- 29:09She might be running out of oxygen.
- 29:12And her associate is now locked in a room with two of her minions, three of her minions.
- 29:19So when this party is over, we should probably try and deal with that.
- 29:25I like how Brock came up, and he's like, guys, I can't get into much detail, but here's the situation.
- 29:30And then they're like, what? And then he's like, okay, I'll give you some more detail.
- 29:34I'm currently murdering someone.
- 29:37Okay, Brock? Wow.
- 29:39I'm not a murderer.
- 29:47Once this line has died down, and once this party is over, I'm going to need some help in dealing with Madame Yang and her boy.
- 29:58Will she even be alive by then? Probably.
- 30:05You should probably give her air holes or something.
- 30:11What's done is done.
- 30:20she is both dead and alive in that hole, that I tell you.
- 30:24So at this point, what's done is done.
- 30:27So we'll wait till the end of the party and see what happens.
- 30:31We'll see what we find.
- 30:33We'll have at least four people that are alive, and five, if we're fortunate.
- 30:46I'll find you guys.
- 30:47I'll hang around at the end of the party.
- 30:49This is just delivering a message here as Brock's telling us this.
- 31:05that's some heavy stuff, bro.
- 31:09Well, you might have gone a step too far.
- 31:13I think so too.
- 31:22Stuff happens in the heat.
- 31:24We all make mistakes.
- 31:31How big of a hole did you make? It was 6ft deep, and she could probably turn around.
- 31:44What do you mean turn around? Well, it's about the width of a chair.
- 31:49So if her shoulders are as broad as a chair or shorter or less broad, then she can somewhat turn around.
- 31:57If her shoulders are more broad than the chair she was sitting in, she's just going to be facing one direction.
- 32:03I feel like her level of turning and comfort is the least of her worries right now.
- 32:09Well, I mean, you got to take into account at least the comfortability of what could be recruiting.
- 32:19Are you listening to yourself, Brock? Right now? I admit I may have taken this a little too far.
- 32:29A little? Just I am willing to take a little bit of blame here.
- 32:35But you see, we've got rich people standing behind me, probably wondering why we're talking.
- 32:45Woman standing behind you? And she's only been half listening in, and she leans over and she says, is this part of the secret menu? Yes, sure is.
- 33:14Take a teacup and just sort of go about my business till the end of the party.
- 33:20No, when you say take a tea cup, we're talking about a tea cup with tea in tea.
- 33:26Oh, okay.
- 33:27Yeah, it has tea.
- 33:28And I'll just be sipping on it through the night.
- 33:31I'll just be chilling with my teacup, take a little sip of it and notice it tastes weird.
- 33:39It tastes a little off.
- 33:41But here's the thing.
- 33:42Brock's used to some strange teas, as he's discussed before, he likes whatever he picked up off the ground, threw it in some hot water, kind of if I remember correctly, in a previous episode, you had said it was like Passerby fruit salesman, whatever, fell out of his cart, put it into a tea, and that's what you drink.
- 34:08So I mean when you say it kind of tastes funny, but it really doesn't bother you at all.
- 34:13It just doesn't taste like you normally taste.
- 34:15It's like the difference between a Coke and a Diet Coke.
- 34:18Yeah, there's a bit of difference here, but also it's still Coke.
- 34:23Okay, yeah, exactly.
- 34:26So that's a good way of putting it.
- 34:27So, yeah, you're sipping away glow and Bill, like I said, you guys are now with this information, just working hard, getting the tea served, and the night is going to progress.
- 34:40Bottom line, the night kind of gets a little bit later.
- 34:43You start to notice that guests start leaving since you guys are outside.
- 34:46Obviously you would see every time somebody leaves, they go down the main path, which goes past you guys.
- 34:51They probably take a sip to go before heading out.
- 34:56And like I said, it's getting late.
- 35:00The party is kind of coming to a close.
- 35:02You guys are finally kind of like getting a breather.
- 35:05There's maybe an occasional customer that will stop by for some team.
- 35:10Madame in the hole for now.
- 35:14For now? Well, you don't know about Madame yet? No, sir.
- 35:20That'd be your 9th drink.
- 35:22We have.
- 35:22To cut you off there.
- 35:25So good.
- 35:27Thank you.
- 35:28That's a great compliment.
- 35:29You're welcome.
- 35:30You can leave us a compliment as well in our tip jar on how good our drinks have been.
- 35:36Okay.
- 36:04you guys have a wonderful night? And then Bill just kind of points at the top chart one more time.
- 36:11He drops a few coins in there a few U on.
- 36:15Wait, like ten u on.
- 36:17We appreciate hospitality.
- 36:21We appreciate it.
- 36:26With that, he starts to stumble away and then the girls embossing the girls and we didn't recognize it.
- 36:41He's been wealthy all along.
- 36:43We just got him on a bad day.
- 36:45That's right.
- 36:46Well, he had been kicked out like 3 hours.
- 36:49He just asked you if you guys had a restaurant.
- 36:52The same restaurant that he broke into.
- 36:54I remember.
- 36:57Got his ass kicked by Bill Dorr.
- 37:00That's right.
- 37:01Got drank some dishwater from Glow and had a water tribe grow up.
- 37:11Reject him, basically.
- 37:13I didn't do anything.
- 37:14You're intimidated by this giant alleged teenager.
- 37:18Probably better.
- 37:19The proxy.
- 37:20Who knows? Awesome.
- 37:23So, yeah, as the night kind of comes to a close, you kind of look around.
- 37:28You even notice given that it's kind of a rich people's party.
- 37:31There's a lot of people that have just taken their mass off and kind of given up on the game because there's only 250 yuan.
- 37:39I mean, who cares, right? It was more for the game.
- 37:43There's only maybe a few people that are taking it seriously.
- 37:48And I say that for everybody at the table.
- 37:50And aside from that, like I said, things are kind of coming to a close.
- 37:54The man of the house, Mr.
- 37:58Yotaku, he comes out and he says if there's anybody still participating in the MAS game, could you please come to the front, please? We're going to have to finish this game off.
- 38:15Anybody who's still wearing a mask? Yes, that's me.
- 38:18All right.
- 38:19And me, I guess.
- 38:20Oh, yeah, that's true.
- 38:21You are too.
- 38:22So the two of you step up to this gathering.
- 38:27Okay.
- 38:28Yeah.
- 38:29So I just had to say his name.
- 38:31Yeah, like call him out, basically.
- 38:34Bro, do you recognize his name? He's also in disguise, but is his outfit in disguise? Yes, it is.
- 38:42Dang it.
- 38:43We both have changed outfits with this guy.
- 38:48We literally see each other every day.
- 38:50I feel like you know each other out of curiosity, the way he was a I think we answered this last time, but Brockwood or what kind of mask are you wearing? Oh, it was like a blue spirit yeah.
- 39:06Kabuki.
- 39:06Okay.
- 39:07Because the blue spirit mask would clash with the grass.
- 39:09Right.
- 39:10So it's a kabuki.
- 39:11I got his hope of a crash bandicoot.
- 39:16Like the wooden TV.
- 39:18Yes.
- 39:18I was wishing for a loop store mask.
- 39:21Next time.
- 39:22Next time.
- 39:24That's Brock's professional.
- 39:26I was going to say he only wears up for Earth rumble.
- 39:29Okay, so the both of you are called over to this gathering with you guys.
- 39:36There's about a dozen people left.
- 39:39And Mr.
- 39:41Yotaku stands there and he says, well, I suppose we can start this off the easy way.
- 39:48Anyone recognize anyone? And three people managed to call, like, one person out each.
- 39:54So now you're down to about nine people, and they're all just standing there like, I don't know.
- 39:58Anybody else is, or I'm not sure.
- 40:00Are we allowed to walk around and ask people questions? Yeah.
- 40:05And he mentions to you, he says, I'll give you guys 15 minutes.
- 40:11That should be plenty of time to maybe figure some people out in it.
- 40:15Whoever's left at that will split the money between them all.
- 40:18You're joking.
- 40:20So we could do all this for 30 yuan a piece and just sit here? How many of them are drunk? You see some pretty much most of them have blissful brute teacups in their hands.
- 40:39But I will know that their drinks are spiked.
- 40:42So just, like, by looking at them, by looking at them, you might notice that maybe one or two are, like, real loopy.
- 40:50Yeah, but I mean, some of the other ones, you might not really notice just how drunk they are until you actually talk.
- 40:54I'm going to go to the real loopy ones.
- 40:56I'm going to show you the conversation, okay? Yeah.
- 41:19beat him to it, because now you can't just say, I'm not going to tell you.
- 41:24What's your name? Well, I could lie to him.
- 41:28Yes.
- 41:28I could be like, oh, my name is Muktuk.
- 41:37Muktuck.
- 41:38Your name is Muktuk? Yeah.
- 41:42Hey, guys, I got muktuk over here.
- 41:45And he points at you and he says, your name is Muktuk.
- 41:49I got you.
- 41:50It's not that's not fairy.
- 41:55Yeah, do that.
- 41:56Wait, wasn't the rule if you guessed something incorrectly, you have to take off your own mask? That was a rule.
- 42:02So that guy is and then someone says, Wait, your name is not Muktuk? No, it's not.
- 42:11They say, oh, looks like you're out, sir.
- 42:14He says, Dang it.
- 42:16He takes his mask off and he throws it on the ground.
- 42:20And Mr.
- 42:21Yotaki is like, oh, please, no, these are my masks.
- 42:25I look at Brock and I give him a wink, but he can't tell because a person in a mask gives you a wink.
- 42:34We've decided that we can tell who each other are.
- 42:38We do work in the dish pits.
- 42:39Okay.
- 42:40Do you see a familiar wink that you've seen every day? I'm assuming it's just like double link back years are going to start shipping Mika and Brock now because they exchange winks in the dishroom.
- 42:57He's a psycho killer.
- 43:00I'm assuming it's him, by the way, his maneuvers.
- 43:06I got to walk up to the other tipsiest.
- 43:09Extravagant person.
- 43:11Okay.
- 43:12It's a woman and she says, oh, I saw what you did.
- 43:16All that.
- 43:17You're not going to give me the same way.
- 43:19Oh, I'm not? No, you're not.
- 43:25You're not a little girl.
- 43:28You're a little weird.
- 43:32And your name is not Muktuck.
- 43:35I know that much, so don't try me.
- 43:37Your name? Is it Madam Yang? Or is it what did you like to know? Yeah, if you wanted to tell me your name, we could be our little secret.
- 43:53And she taps her nose.
- 43:56I know about this secret menu.
- 44:00Everybody has been talking about it.
- 44:02It's not so secret anymore.
- 44:06Yeah.
- 44:06So that's your name.
- 44:11What do you think it is? I don't know.
- 44:13Give me a hint.
- 44:16Why would I do that? All right.
- 44:19It starts with A-B-A-B? You so funny.
- 44:29You walk up to him same lady? Yeah.
- 44:32Sorry.
- 44:33I walk up to the same lady.
- 44:35You're tall, had some glass of secret menu tea.
- 44:39He's wearing a mess.
- 44:44He's still tall.
- 44:45And he's built.
- 44:46He's built doesn't mean he's handsome.
- 44:49Are you saying this to her? People just unshipped mika, man, mika is such a jerk.
- 44:57She doesn't deserve broccoli.
- 45:02Let the people ship who they want.
- 45:05Let the ship sail.
- 45:08I see you've been enjoying some of the blissful Brew secret myths.
- 45:12I have.
- 45:13Did you try them? Oh, yes.
- 45:15I go there every weekend.
- 45:17Every Thursday.
- 45:18They have it.
- 45:20However, they got to make sure that you're in the know to know, because you have to be in the know to get it.
- 45:27I actually know Mr.
- 45:29Ocaron, who runs the Crystal Brew, and he wanted me to go out and get the people interested on the list for the people who can come in on Thursdays and get that specialty for menu.
- 45:40I know you love them.
- 45:43I didn't realize I loved them until tonight, but I love them.
- 45:46Absolutely.
- 45:47And now that you love them, you're going to come in every Thursday with me.
- 45:50We can go together.
- 45:52I got to get your name for his list.
- 45:53This isn't even part of the game.
- 45:55I'm just out here because they're winding down, cleaning up back there.
- 45:58So we got to get you on the list before you get out of here because otherwise you may not get this again.
- 46:03Okay, roll a trick.
- 46:05What is trick with creativity, I believe.
- 46:08Yeah.
- 46:09So I got a plus one, so I got an eight.
- 46:13Eight.
- 46:14Okay, so you get to pick one.
- 46:15They stumble, take plus one forward to acting against them.
- 46:20They act foolishly.
- 46:21The GM tells you what additional opportunity they give you, or they overcommit and they're deceived for some time.
- 46:29I'll say they overcommit and they're deceived for some time.
- 46:33Yes, I think that makes the most sense.
- 46:34She says.
- 46:35My name is Beatrice Von Winkel.
- 46:41Am I on the list? Absolutely.
- 46:43Beatrice.
- 46:44I'm going to go, Mr.
- 46:45Okra.
- 46:46Right now.
- 46:46Meet your name on the list and we will see you on Thursday.
- 46:49Oh, wonderful.
- 46:50I can't wait.
- 46:52Likewise.
- 46:54So I'll just walk straight past her to the game master and say, that lady is Beatrice.
- 47:04I got her name.
- 47:06And he looks over, and he says, hey, Beatrice.
- 47:09And she turns around, and he goes, oh, yes, that's you.
- 47:13You're out.
- 47:14And she goes, oh, my.
- 47:17Well, that's fine.
- 47:19I have something to do on Thursdays.
- 47:21Now I'll see you.
- 47:22That's important to me.
- 47:23She takes off her mask, and she walks away, and in the distance, you can hear she walks up to somebody else, and she says, I will especially so what now you're down to seven people, including the two of you.
- 47:37Bring out the weapons.
- 47:45How are these masks being held on? So some of them have, like, straps in the back that they tie on, and then a small number of what's left of people, maybe like two people have them, like, with the sticks.
- 47:59You almost wonder if the people that chose the stick ones, their arms got tired from holding the stick the whole party, or they just got tired of doing it in general, and they kind of gave up.
- 48:08So most of those people are gone.
- 48:11Not gone.
- 48:16So you said people had the second change of clothes, and they had the tickets with them.
- 48:21Do those tickets just have numbers, or do they also have their names on them? They wouldn't well, they have invitations, essentially, at this point, they don't have the invitations on them anymore.
- 48:31Those would have just been so the invitations had their address, had their name and everything on it, but they put those with their clothes, so nobody assumed that anybody would necessarily pick up a mask that wasn't invited to the party enjoyed in the game, so they didn't think through that possibility.
- 48:49So the invitations were solely for just getting the close back to the people that they changed out of.
- 48:55That would never happen.
- 48:56I can't do, like, a sleight of hand and be like, oh, your name is Phyllis.
- 49:02I see what you pickpocket their tickets in theory or pickpocket you can turn the blissful brew into Starbucks.
- 49:13Got to give us your name.
- 49:14I was like, Where is she going with that? And I was like, wow.
- 49:17Starbucks.
- 49:18Are you going to but you'd have to mispronounce it.
- 49:21So somebody's like, yeah, my name is Gary.
- 49:23You'd be like, hey, that's Jerry over there.
- 49:26Or Gareth.
- 49:27I don't know.
- 49:28Whatever they say, Steven with a phenomena no, I never yeah, because you would misread it.
- 49:35Yeah.
- 49:36So instead of Stephen with a V, it's Stephen PH.
- 49:40There was a PH? Yeah.
- 49:43Where is Steven with a PH? Can we talk to him? Oh, he's been here the whole time.
- 49:48He's been running around the party.
- 49:49He's making sure everything's up to date, especially now at the end, because he's got to run around and give everybody their other half of their deposit or money or whatever.
- 49:59How much trouble would I get in if somebody caught me removing somebody else's mask, would that be a disqualification? You would assume maybe, I mean, assuming that Mika would assume that.
- 50:13I just didn't know if there was rules that technically no, but you wonder if maybe they might get upset.
- 50:20It seems a little hostile.
- 50:23I was just getting walk behind them.
- 50:26You can always try if you want to roll a call again.
- 50:31Since you're a rogue, let's call it a rely on your skills and training.
- 50:38I don't know.
- 50:39Okay.
- 50:40I don't know.
- 50:41We'll put that option out there just in case.
- 50:44So at this point, how much time is left? There is about ten minutes left.
- 50:50Ten minutes left.
- 50:51Well, if there's five people left, including us, nobody knows us and we can just like walk away and then come back with at least 50 you on a piece if you want to do that.
- 51:06Nobody knows who we are.
- 51:09I figured we would stick it out to the end, but we have to get rid of the competition.
- 51:14Okay, are we having a conversation like telepathically? Telepathically? You guys are standing there next week.
- 51:25You could just be having this conversation.
- 51:28By the way, just so you know, Madame Yang is potentially dying.
- 51:32What? I'll fill you in later.
- 51:35But we need to well, should we make maybe safer? We need to address this after the parties.
- 51:40I don't like to be an accomplice to potentially merge.
- 51:46I've said to keep her there for a while for safekeeping.
- 51:49She's fine.
- 51:51Why would you tell me this and then just be like, oh, let's move on because I need your help.
- 51:59Because she is our main competition and I don't know how to handle it by myself.
- 52:09So I just incapacitated her for the time being so we could all deal with her.
- 52:13Incapacitated her how exactly? Don't worry about it, okay? We're going to be fine.
- 52:21So let's just finish this and then we'll go.
- 52:23Why even tell me? Because now you know, you canonically know what is going on.
- 52:28I don't know if I want to know.
- 52:30Well, too bad.
- 52:32Brock is forcing this information on everybody.
- 52:36Okay.
- 52:36We're going to need your help in bills and guajans and we're going to try and figure this out after the party.
- 52:46But for now do you want to split up or try and take people on as a team to try and get some more money? Probably as team.
- 52:55I'm not as charismatic with the people.
- 52:59I don't know how to get their names off.
- 53:02I guess I can only do that on drunk people, but I can try with someone more sober.
- 53:06So maybe teamwork.
- 53:09Let's do it.
- 53:09Okay, so who's the next most drunk person you see? A real scrawny looking guy and you wonder if it probably doesn't take too much to get him there, but he definitely seems like he's out of it.
- 53:25How old is this gentleman? He looks like he is in his early 30s early thirty s, and he's currently not talking to someone.
- 53:36Really? He's sort of like two people are talking, and he's sitting on the stairs behind them and he's talking, but he doesn't look like they're engaging with him at all.
- 53:44Looks like they're engaged with each other and they're just trying to ignore him.
- 53:49So he might just be talking to himself.
- 53:52He says, yeah, I was down at the park the other day, there was this dog, and he was running around and some crazy stuff.
- 54:05And you're just noticing that he's not technically really talking to somebody.
- 54:10Okay.
- 54:11I'll walk up to him, I was like, hey, were you talking about a dog? Because we just so happened to have seen a dog earlier today.
- 54:18How you been? I mean, I know that obviously you know that we're here for the game, but I just like to strike up a conversation.
- 54:24It looks like you could use some friends.
- 54:25Yeah, it was one of those chunky hippo dogs.
- 54:31He was just kind of running around and he was barking, and basically I saw him and he was eating grass.
- 54:43I thought, man, that was weird.
- 54:45He's eating grass? Yeah.
- 54:47Hippo dogs typically don't eat that.
- 54:49I don't know why he was doing that.
- 54:51Yeah, it's crazy.
- 54:55I'll do the buddy thing, put the hand on the shoulders, like, whoa, dude, you've been working out.
- 55:01You're pretty huge.
- 55:03Thanks.
- 55:04Yeah, well, it's funny you should say that, because I was chasing that hippo dog around the park, so probably busting my muscles doing that.
- 55:17Your muscles look really busted.
- 55:23My legs? My thighs.
- 55:24Yeah, they're real muscular from chasing the hippo dog around the whole park.
- 55:29You're looking lean.
- 55:31I've been trying to get back to hitting the gym.
- 55:34Did you ever want to try and work out together, do some workout buds, keep each other capable? Well, most of what I do, I chase the hippo dog around.
- 55:45Is that like, what you do for your work? No.
- 55:48Well, I own the zoo.
- 55:51Oh, you own the zoo.
- 55:52Yeah.
- 55:52Okay, so I chased a lot of animals around, but that dang hippo dog, he just always caused me trouble.
- 55:59Who owns the zoo? He owns the zoo.
- 56:01That's me.
- 56:02Who's he? Our friend right here.
- 56:06We've been trying to hit up the zoo every now and then.
- 56:08We've been trying to go, but we can never find the right time.
- 56:12Do you have a business card on here that we could yes, I got one right here.
- 56:18Awesome.
- 56:18Thank you so much.
- 56:19He hands it to you.
- 56:20So I pick up business card.
- 56:23Ralph Wiggums.
- 56:25That's me.
- 56:26Ralph Wiggum.
- 56:27It is nice to meet you, Ralph.
- 56:30That's his character, I just realized.
- 56:33Ralph Wiggum is so nice to meet you.
- 56:36I go, I shake his hand.
- 56:37I leave him and Mika to their devices.
- 56:39And as you walk away, you hear him saying, yeah, you'll have to come by and check out that hippo dog sometime.
- 56:46Real crazy critter.
- 56:47He's running around.
- 56:48He just keeps talking as you walk away.
- 56:51He'll just talk at Meek a lot.
- 56:55Mika is taking one for the team.
- 56:56So I go up to the game master, and I'm like, I got over there his name is Ralph.
- 57:02Yeah, we know Ralph.
- 57:04All right.
- 57:05All right.
- 57:07So that's two down.
- 57:09Yeah, he goes over there, and he's like, hey, Ralph, you got to go home.
- 57:14And Ralph's like, yeah, I got to go back home.
- 57:16I got to deal with that dang hippo dog.
- 57:19That dude is so fixed on the hippo dog.
- 57:22He loves the Zippow dog, man.
- 57:24All right, well, it was great seeing your route.
- 57:27I'll go stop by the zoo sometime right now.
- 57:30That's cool.
- 57:30You can come and check out my hippo dog.
- 57:32He's a crazy little guy.
- 57:34Like, hippo dog is a metaphor for something.
- 57:37Oh, gosh, who knows? Is there another young lady around? There is one young lady, and she's sort of, like, sitting on the stairs.
- 57:49She's got not on the stairs themselves, but you know how the fancier homes, they have, like, the sides, the concrete staircase? Not like double staircase.
- 57:59It's like a rail, sort of, but it's just like a big cement, like, wall rail.
- 58:02You know what I'm talking about? Like a retaining wall? Kind of.
- 58:05Yeah, basically, like a retaining wall alongside the stairs.
- 58:08And she's, like, sitting on that, and she's got, like, one knee up.
- 58:12She's got an arm across her knee.
- 58:14She looks pretty intense.
- 58:17All right, I'm a swap down next to her.
- 58:20Okay.
- 58:21And that same knee up arm on my leg.
- 58:27Okay, you're just going to what are you doing here? Dad make you come along, too? Just being a Valley teen girl is amazing.
- 58:40I actually don't have a dad, but oh, sucks.
- 58:46He can't make me come to the party.
- 58:49Yeah, sorry.
- 58:50I was going to get to that.
- 58:51Yeah, right on.
- 59:04I'm, like, actively trying to hold back to you.
- 59:12You got to rule out a catch.
- 59:23I like to do my own thing.
- 59:27That's so cool.
- 59:28Yeah, I wish I could do that.
- 59:31Well, you could.
- 59:34I kind of do.
- 59:35Yeah.
- 59:36So you just, like, go hang out sometime? Maybe? I don't know.
- 59:40I'm pretty busy, though.
- 59:41Oh, well, you know, I got a gang.
- 59:44Oh, yeah? I've heard of few gangs around town.
- 59:47Wait, a few? Are you serious right now? Yes.
- 59:52Like the Coyote Boars.
- 59:55The Coyote Boars? Wild Coyote Boars? Yeah, my gang.
- 1:00:01What? Yeah.
- 1:00:02That's pretty sick.
- 1:00:03Yeah, we are pretty sick.
- 1:00:06But wait, who are these other gangs? Because there's other gangs out there.
- 1:00:09We're going to run them out.
- 1:00:10We'll mess them up there's.
- 1:00:11Like the Squid gang.
- 1:00:16What's their deal? They can't run a squid.
- 1:00:21That's kind of weird.
- 1:00:22But running a Squid, was that even me? No, they carry around a squid.
- 1:00:27Running a squid? Is that like a drug thing? Or something.
- 1:00:30It's not necessarily a drug thing.
- 1:00:31It's more like a booze thing.
- 1:00:38Oh, my gosh.
- 1:00:39They got, like, an illegal speakeasy thing going on.
- 1:00:41Yeah.
- 1:00:42Kidding me.
- 1:00:43No, not at all.
- 1:00:46I guess that doesn't really step on our front.
- 1:00:47So I guess no big deal.
- 1:00:50If they do step on our front, then it's a big deal.
- 1:00:53They might in a big way, competition.
- 1:00:56Am I with me? I think she's over kind of off on her own a little bit.
- 1:01:01Okay.
- 1:01:01Unless you chose to follow me.
- 1:01:04I just started walking over to this chicken plopped out next door.
- 1:01:08If you want help, then I can try and help.
- 1:01:10But if you think you got this I mean, you saw our walk over there.
- 1:01:12If you want to engage up to you.
- 1:01:16I'll stay out of it.
- 1:01:17If you want to try help, you're, like, giving each other this entire conversation just through your eyes.
- 1:01:23He's trying to make his way over there.
- 1:01:31Brock knows exactly.
- 1:01:35All right, so I'll meet Andrew over there.
- 1:01:38So I heard you're part of the milk coyote for us.
- 1:01:41Wow, you've got, like, really good ears.
- 1:01:43They are award winning.
- 1:01:45Really? Yeah.
- 1:01:47She, like, looks over something where he listens to the rocks, you know? What do they say? They sing.
- 1:01:55Really? Yeah, they, like, rock.
- 1:01:58It's kind of freaky.
- 1:02:00Yeah, it's freak cray.
- 1:02:01I dig it.
- 1:02:02I know you dig rocks.
- 1:02:03I dig dirt.
- 1:02:07I don't like dig dig, but I dig dig in the mind the whole day through.
- 1:02:15Sounds kind of dirty.
- 1:02:22Learn something about that.
- 1:02:27I don't like the direction rocks.
- 1:02:34I'm just going to sink back in here and be like, hey, so you're gang, is it looking for a new affiliate? Maybe you got what it takes? I might have what it takes.
- 1:02:43I think so.
- 1:02:44I don't got a dad, you know, you got me there.
- 1:02:48That is, like, top to checklist.
- 1:02:52Well, only, like, one of our members doesn't have a dad.
- 1:02:57I'm just saying, if you really want me to be part of this gang, I have nothing to tie me down, hold me back.
- 1:03:05I dig that she says, well, I don't dig it like that guy, but I dig what you're saying.
- 1:03:14I dig the dirt you're putting down dope.
- 1:03:18Speaking of dope, are you guys aware of the other gang that's going on dope in the air? Yeah.
- 1:03:26Is that the squid gang? No, it's not the squid gang.
- 1:03:29It's not? No.
- 1:03:29It's another one.
- 1:03:30It's called the BN Gang.
- 1:03:31They call it a shore for boys.
- 1:03:33Night Gang.
- 1:03:38It's an all male gang.
- 1:03:39They only attack at night.
- 1:03:41But you know what? They're using a tea shop as their front.
- 1:03:44Why is it you guys ought to take them out? I heard you guys are pretty tough, so you probably should try and take them out the tea shop.
- 1:03:52It's called some, like, hot leaf juice, I think.
- 1:03:57Okay, I'll bring that to our main guy.
- 1:04:01Yeah, they're out there.
- 1:04:03He knows things.
- 1:04:05They're out there with the wacky tobacy, really, and the hash cookies, and I don't know, I just feel like if someone's dealing, like, drugs and that's going to really take the top off of our protection ring, and that's going to be a problem, obviously, so we're going to have to deal with that.
- 1:04:23You can't have that.
- 1:04:24No, absolutely not.
- 1:04:26So thanks for letting me know.
- 1:04:29Are you both, like, interested in joining? I mean, you're a big guy, which is, like, pretty dope.
- 1:04:34I could use some money on the side.
- 1:04:35Yeah, and then you got, like, a small but agile thing, I think.
- 1:04:43You guys like vendors? What kind of vendor? I'm a nurse vendor.
- 1:04:49Right on.
- 1:04:51And water.
- 1:04:52Oh, nice.
- 1:04:53Yeah.
- 1:04:55She snaps her fingers and a small ignition of fire comes off of her finger.
- 1:05:01She's like that.
- 1:05:02You can't guess what I am.
- 1:05:04That's kind of hot.
- 1:05:08You don't even know what I look like.
- 1:05:11You don't even know what I look like.
- 1:05:14Napkin.
- 1:05:15Well, I don't want to say.
- 1:05:18Take it off.
- 1:05:21Glad you didn't use that verbiage.
- 1:05:28Adjust the mask so that it's also covering his mouth.
- 1:05:38now.
- 1:05:38He's short of breath.
- 1:05:40Yeah.
- 1:05:43How do we go about joining your game? Do we go and say, hey, So and So sent us, bro.
- 1:05:50Oh, yeah.
- 1:05:53After this mass game, I'll give you my name and I'll tell you where to go.
- 1:06:00Yeah, that'd be cool.
- 1:06:01All right, cool.
- 1:06:02But after the game, you have to give us your name.
- 1:06:05Well, I'm not.
- 1:06:10girl.
- 1:06:11I did not think you're stupid.
- 1:06:14Operations.
- 1:06:16I just didn't know how it would go about finding you.
- 1:06:20I don't know what you look like.
- 1:06:22Well, you'll know what it looks like.
- 1:06:23After the game is over, I'll take my mask off.
- 1:06:24No big deal.
- 1:06:27You want to just come up with another? Have you improved the reason? And you see Mr.
- 1:06:38Yotaku, and he shouts out.
- 1:06:41He says, you all have 30 seconds.
- 1:06:45Seven of us left.
- 1:06:46There's four plus you guys.
- 1:06:49Yeah.
- 1:06:51So six.
- 1:06:52So that's still 40.
- 1:06:54You on a piece.
- 1:06:55You do math really fast.
- 1:06:57That's 40 plus a little bit leftover.
- 1:06:58We still got 40.
- 1:06:59That's 80.
- 1:07:01So as long as no one finds both of us out, then that's closer to what we need.
- 1:07:07Hey, do you want to help us figure out the rest of these people? I've been trying, but I don't know, it's not really my thing.
- 1:07:14I don't talk to these people when my dad makes me come to these stupid parties.
- 1:07:21Oh, my dad? Yeah.
- 1:07:23Shifu is their name.
- 1:07:24It's not the one you're thinking of.
- 1:07:26It's his brother, so I'm his niece.
- 1:07:30Is that what they call him? So your uncle is the family that's running this on? Well, I mean, they're like, on the side.
- 1:07:39They're like the co host, you could say, like, Yotaku family.
- 1:07:42Like, this is their house.
- 1:07:43They're like, in charge or whatever, but my uncle, he helps pay for things and then he gets part of the credit for the whole thing and he gets to promote his business or something.
- 1:07:58I don't know.
- 1:07:58It's rich people stuff, like business people, fancy stuff.
- 1:08:03It's not really my thing.
- 1:08:05You seem like a tough one to break, so I'm just going to try and wait out the clock.
- 1:08:10I don't know about me.
- 1:08:11Okay? Yeah.
- 1:08:12Seems like I said I don't know any of these people.
- 1:08:17All right? And then as you guys are kind of like sitting back to wait, sure enough, like a couple of seconds later, mr.
- 1:08:23Yotaku says, all right, the game is over.
- 1:08:26Let's see, 12345, six people, that works out to about 41.66 repeating.
- 1:08:37So let's just say 41 coins a piece.
- 1:08:40Here you go.
- 1:08:41And he starts to like he handed over to Steven with a PH, cause it was all in one big bag.
- 1:08:46Steven with a PH starts pulling out smaller sacks that he just is carrying with them.
- 1:08:51And he's been handing everybody all this money through these smaller sacks, so he starts to quickly distribute it and then he gives each of you 41 yuan coins.
- 1:09:04Shortly after that, he comes rushing up to the Blissful Brew booth and he gives you guys your other 250 coins, which was the other half you would get after the event.
- 1:09:16Thank you, Stephen.
- 1:09:18Yes.
- 1:09:19And thank you so much for participating in being one of our caterers.
- 1:09:24Could you I don't know yes.
- 1:09:27Could I persuade you possibly to give us part of the money that the Hot Leaf Juice Company, they're half afterwards? Because I noticed, and I talked to a lot of people and I'm sure you noticed that we had a lot more customers at our booth than Hot Leaf Juice.
- 1:09:50And I heard at least 40 people complaining about their tea.
- 1:09:55And then it came out to ours, and we served customers at least five p's apiece each.
- 1:10:01I think we pulled way more weight than they did.
- 1:10:06No, you make a very good point.
- 1:10:09Give me just a moment.
- 1:10:10I will be right back.
- 1:10:11And he rushes off, and then a few moments later, he returns with Mr.
- 1:10:15Yotaku himself.
- 1:10:17And Mr.
- 1:10:19Okoron quickly readjust his robe, which he had like literally hanging off the entire top half of his body.
- 1:10:27Let it all go.
- 1:10:31He takes like a rag and he quickly wipes a bunch of the sweat off of himself and he says, oh.
- 1:10:36Mr.
- 1:10:36Yotaku gives him a bow.
- 1:10:40Okay.
- 1:10:41And Mr.
- 1:10:42Yotaku says, come to my attention.
- 1:10:46Their job.
- 1:10:47There was a bit of obscurity between the T service, definitely unexpected on my end as far as which direction it would lean towards, but it would seem that your business did pick up quite a bit more than the other business did.
- 1:11:05So yes, I am willing to compensate you a percentage of the Hardlift Juices profits they were supposed to.
- 1:11:15Receive at the end here, since they did not live up to the contract they had signed and in fact give you the money for over producing, somebody had told me you would have required additional ingredients which you were able to supply, which is very impressive and short notice.
- 1:11:33So obviously you've proven yourself very responsible.
- 1:11:36So yes, Steven with the PH, give them the other half that was supposed to go to Hot Leaf Juice.
- 1:11:41I will handle Hot leaf juice and explaining my disappointments to Madam Yang.
- 1:11:49Thank you so much, sir.
- 1:11:51Yes.
- 1:11:53I must say, I feel as though I owe you an apology myself.
- 1:12:00It seems that I was under the impression that a large chain such as Hot Leaf Juice would have been more responsible and capable.
- 1:12:09And that was what I was literally by certain member of the Shifu family.
- 1:12:14So don't blame me too much, but I must say you have definitely impressed me and I will definitely be reaching out to you again.
- 1:12:23And I sincerely apologize for the sort of mishandling of your initial contract in the past.
- 1:12:32Oh, thank you, sir, I truly appreciate that.
- 1:12:36Yes, of course.
- 1:12:37You feel free to reach out to us at any time and we would be happy.
- 1:12:40I'm more than happy, honored even to cater at your next party, your next big event.
- 1:12:47It sounds good.
- 1:12:48I will see you next time, Mr.
- 1:12:51Oakley.
- 1:12:51And you.
- 1:12:52And you, sir.
- 1:12:55Any busy both to do after handing you the money? And he has a way, bill looks at Guahan and he did it.
- 1:13:08Mr.
- 1:13:08Ocaran comes over, he says, Bill, that was very clever.
- 1:13:13It was very clever indeed.
- 1:13:14I never would have even thought about it.
- 1:13:16I was just so, like I don't know how to say it.
- 1:13:19You know, your way to handle people, for sure.
- 1:13:21You are very charismatic.
- 1:13:22When you work the front of house and you talk to people all day, you kind of catch on to things.
- 1:13:27And I caught on to the fact that Hot Leaf Juice was sucking the fun out of this place.
- 1:13:33I figured we had a little extra fun at the end of the night.
- 1:13:38Indeed, yes.
- 1:13:38They felt so flapping behind.
- 1:13:41I don't even know what happened.
- 1:13:42I can only imagine.
- 1:13:43They just so unprepared.
- 1:13:45I suppose that's what happens when you try to come to a different location.
- 1:13:48You try to haul your equipment.
- 1:13:49It just all goes to that's why I like to probably tired from all the traveling.
- 1:13:54It probably broke a bunch of stuff.
- 1:13:56Traveling.
- 1:13:57I can't even imagine.
- 1:13:58That's why you always go local.
- 1:14:00That's right, you always go local.
- 1:14:02It's a better business model.
- 1:14:05I'm pretty sure all the rich families learn that tonight.
- 1:14:07That's right, they did.
- 1:14:08Wow, boys, I just want to pause for a moment and say that I'm proud of both of you.
- 1:14:14You two stuck by my side.
- 1:14:17Not the Mcnuck and Miguel.
- 1:14:19I don't know where they're off and I'm sure they were doing their thing to help us in some way, shape or form.
- 1:14:24I'm pretty sure they were promoting.
- 1:14:25Oh, that could be the reason why we got so much.
- 1:14:29Good point.
- 1:14:29Yes, that's a good point.
- 1:14:31But I just want you guys to know that I really appreciate you guys sticking by my side and really helping me make sure that this Tea Party was everything it needed to be and everything went well.
- 1:14:42You guys worked really hard tonight and I'm proud of you.
- 1:14:46Thank you.
- 1:14:47Thanks, Mr.
- 1:14:48Hocros.
