- Lucas: Hey Luna, ready for another episode of Learn Telugu with Fexingo? Luna: Yes! I loved our last episode on ordering food. I've been practicing 'naaku chicken biryani kavali' all week. Lucas: That's great! Today, let's go back to the park, but this time we'll focus on describing what we see around us. Luna: Oh, like the tree and the flowers? We learned 'chettu' and 'puvvu' before. Lucas: Exactly. Now let's make full sentences. For example: 'Chettu peddaga undi' — the tree is big. Luna: Chettu peddaga undi. That sounds nice. So 'peddaga' means big? Lucas: Yes, 'peddaga' means big. And 'undi' means 'is'. So 'chettu peddaga undi' is a complete sentence. Luna: Okay, chettu peddaga undi. I can picture a big banyan tree. Lucas: Now how about the flower? 'Puvvu andanga undi' — the flower is beautiful. Luna: Puvvu andanga undi. 'Andanga' means beautiful, right? Lucas: Right. And 'puvvu' is flower. So put them together: puvvu andanga undi. Luna: Puvvu andanga undi. I can imagine a bright red flower. Lucas: Now let's add a bird. 'Pakshi egurutundi' — the bird is flying. Luna: Pakshi egurutundi. 'Egurutundi' means is flying? Lucas: Yes, 'eguru' is the root for fly, and 'tundi' makes it present tense. So 'pakshi egurutundi'. Luna: Pakshi egurutundi. I love that! It sounds like the bird is fluttering. Lucas: Let's practice all three. Repeat after me: Chettu peddaga undi. Luna: Chettu peddaga undi. Lucas: Puvvu andanga undi. Luna: Puvvu andanga undi. Lucas: Pakshi egurutundi. Luna: Pakshi egurutundi. Perfect. These are such useful sentences. Lucas: You know, it's great that we can practice these for free. Fexingo doesn't run ads, and if you want to support that, you can at buy me a coffee dot com slash fexingo. Luna: Yeah, it's really nice to learn without interruptions. I'll check that out. Lucas: So, back to our sentences. Can you use them in a little story? Luna: Sure! I see a chettu peddaga undi, and a puvvu andanga undi, and a pakshi egurutundi. Lucas: Beautiful! You just described a whole park scene in Telugu. Luna: That feels amazing. I'm going to practice these every day. Lucas: Perfect. Keep using them, and you'll be describing everything around you in Telugu. Luna: Thanks, Lucas. See you next time! Lucas: Bye for now, and keep practicing.
