SunnyCider’s annual fruit donor program is underway, accepting donations until October 3rd, aiming to collect 20,000 kg of fruit this year. Started in 2013 by Dennis Scanland in Sunnyside after noticing wasted fruit, the business evolved from applesauce and pies to its signature cider—now celebrating seven years of turning excess into refreshment.
