Latest / Stugotz and Company / Big Stu-ey: Morgan Freeman as John Madden (w/Frank Caliendo)
Transcript
- 0:21Speaker 1: I am very excited. My friend Frank Caliendo joins us
- 0:24Speaker 1: right now. Even more excited, I believe he might be
- 0:27Speaker 1: at studio next week. Check him out, frankonstage.com. He has
- 0:32Speaker 1: two shows in South Florida coming up October 9th and
- 0:36Speaker 1: October 10th.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Frank, how are you, man?
- 0:39Speaker 3: Great.
- 0:39Speaker 4: And those are at the Palm Beach Improv. Thanks for
- 0:41Speaker 4: giving the full part. I'm going to be around, not where.
- 0:46Speaker 4: FrankOnStage.com for tickets. We could do that as Gruden to
- 0:51Speaker 4: sell it even more. West Palm Beach, the Palm Beach Improv.
- 0:54Speaker 4: The new one, it's in Wellington, man.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Upscale, incredible neighborhood. I can't wait to see them.
- 0:59Speaker 4: PalmBeachImprov.com or FrankOnStage.com. Now let's do some bits for students.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I figured FrankOnStage.com had all the details. I didn't have
- 1:08Speaker 1: to give– Yeah, but I.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Want people to know.
- 1:11Speaker 4: When I'm going out on the air and podcasting all
- 1:14Speaker 4: these different forums, you are being the media mogul that
- 1:16Speaker 4: you are.
- 1:17Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:17Speaker 4: I want that put in there too. I don't want
- 1:19Speaker 4: it hidden just in my website. So, yeah, we were
- 1:24Speaker 4: talking off stage– Off camera a little bit. Off– We're
- 1:28Speaker 4: talking off the wall a little bit.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Off mic. I forgot what platform this was.
- 1:35Speaker 4: We were talking a little bit about the Madden movie
- 1:37Speaker 4: and you said, how can I not be in the
- 1:39Speaker 4: Madden movie?
- 1:40Speaker 3: Cause it is weird.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Cause I'm the first person everybody thinks of when they
- 1:43Speaker 4: think John Madden, they don't even think John Madden. A
- 1:45Speaker 4: lot of the time they think Caliendo and how he pigeonholed.
- 1:49Speaker 3: His career for 20 years. It's quote unquote career.
- 1:54Speaker 4: And how is he now not in the Madden movie?
- 1:56Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:56Speaker 4: And they wanted me to audition for the part of
- 1:59Speaker 4: Howard Cosell for that movie.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Really?
- 2:02Speaker 3: And I was like, That's ridiculous.
- 2:04Speaker 4: That's like casting Nicolas Cage as John Madden.
- 2:07Speaker 3: They're like funny story.
- 2:09Speaker 4: So that's not exactly how it went, but I was like,
- 2:11Speaker 4: no way. I'm not going to go audition for, uh,
- 2:15Speaker 4: on the part of Howard Cosell, because that would be weird, right?
- 2:18Speaker 4: I just, if you're watching me in a mad movie
- 2:20Speaker 4: and Caliendo gets the part, I'd have to audition for
- 2:22Speaker 4: it and get it.
- 2:23Speaker 6: You'd be thinking the whole time, why is Cage doing this?
- 2:27Speaker 6: Hey folks, John Madden here. I wish, I wish I
- 2:30Speaker 6: sounded a little more like him. How could I do that?
- 2:34Speaker 3: Well, I got an idea over here. It says Howard
- 2:36Speaker 3: Cosell Poe. So, I thought that would be weird anyway.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:41Speaker 5: But.
- 2:42Speaker 3: So.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Then I didn't think they really wanted me to audition.
- 2:44Speaker 4: I didn't think they really wanted me for the movie.
- 2:45Speaker 4: What I thought they wanted to do was have me
- 2:47Speaker 4: audition so they could talk to me.
- 2:48Speaker 3: About John Madden. Ah.
- 2:50Speaker 6: Right?
- 2:50Speaker 4: That's what usually happens in something like this.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Right.
- 2:54Speaker 4: So.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I was like, no.
- 2:56Speaker 4: And then they're like, a few weeks later, they're like, well,
- 2:58Speaker 4: Nicolas Cage and the director want to do a Zoom
- 3:01Speaker 4: call with you.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I was like, no.
- 3:02Speaker 3: They're like, what do you mean, no?
- 3:03Speaker 4: I'm like, if I'm going to give the recipe to
- 3:06Speaker 4: the vocal Madden, you know, the vocal Madden recipe to say,
- 3:10Speaker 4: and I should have said it in a much better way.
- 3:12Speaker 7: I mean, you got to put those words together in
- 3:14Speaker 7: the right way or boom, it doesn't make sense.
- 3:17Speaker 4: So- If I'm going to give away the Madden recipe,
- 3:20Speaker 4: I want to hang out with Nicolas Cage, right? I
- 3:22Speaker 4: want to go to Las Vegas where he lives, ride
- 3:24Speaker 4: sidecar with the ghost rider, do a Leslie Stahl walk
- 3:27Speaker 4: and talk type of deal.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Then I'll do it.
- 3:30Speaker 4: He's showing me his exotic animals in his basement. Here's
- 3:33Speaker 4: my monitor lizard. What would John Madden say to my
- 3:36Speaker 4: monitor lizard? We're going to steal the Declaration of Independence.
- 3:39Speaker 4: So that didn't happen. And I think you might be
- 3:43Speaker 4: able to tell in the movie. But I could have
- 3:45Speaker 4: worked with him on it. I also wanted some money
- 3:48Speaker 4: to do it. I was like, I'm just not going
- 3:49Speaker 4: to just do that. But Nicholas, you wouldn't understand that.
- 3:52Speaker 4: You're always doing charities to guys.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I'm not like you.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I've got to get paid.
- 3:57Speaker 3: I've got to get paid, Stu. But he talks up here.
- 4:01Speaker 6: He talks very nasally in his nose. And John Madden's
- 4:05Speaker 6: very glottal. So you have to take it from the
- 4:07Speaker 6: front and bring it in the back.
- 4:09Speaker 4: And as soon as you learn how to talk in
- 4:12Speaker 4: that or figure out that you've got to talk from
- 4:13Speaker 4: that different area, that's the beginning of it.
- 4:16Speaker 3: So I would have worked with.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Them on that. And Madden didn't like me. Like all
- 4:20Speaker 4: those years, Madden didn't like me. And I finally made
- 4:22Speaker 4: his grandkids laugh. I'm sure I've told you the story
- 4:24Speaker 4: about that before. But that was the whole thing. So
- 4:27Speaker 4: I was like, and my agent was like, maybe you
- 4:30Speaker 4: just go do it and talk to him. And then
- 4:31Speaker 4: they'll give you a little part in the movie. I'm like, no,
- 4:33Speaker 4: if the movie's not great, I want to be able
- 4:35Speaker 4: to make fun of the movie. And if I'm a
- 4:36Speaker 4: little part in the movie, I can't do that because
- 4:39Speaker 4: I'll be pretending like it's the best thing I've ever
- 4:41Speaker 4: seen in my entire life.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Just because I got this little part.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Yes, of course.
- 4:47Speaker 4: So that was the life of that. So that's why
- 4:52Speaker 4: I'm not in it. I don't think Madden would have
- 4:55Speaker 4: wanted me in it, even though he did come around
- 4:58Speaker 4: a little bit. I think that he still had these,
- 5:03Speaker 4: he didn't feel like I was the best guy for him.
- 5:06Speaker 3: I wasn't going to get the part.
- 5:07Speaker 4: If that'd be like Kevin Hart, playing Shaq in a
- 5:10Speaker 4: movie right I'm five six how are you gonna make
- 5:13Speaker 4: me Cage looks the part even though he looks a
- 5:15Speaker 4: little Jiminy Glickish right he looks that body the way
- 5:19Speaker 4: they did the body is fantastic I thought it's incredible
- 5:22Speaker 4: the with the uh the elongated bike shorts of the
- 5:26Speaker 4: 70s the way those you know those fit and up
- 5:30Speaker 4: all the way on the belly button where the waist
- 5:32Speaker 4: is so uh That being said, I don't think– you
- 5:35Speaker 4: would have had to hire all little people for me
- 5:38Speaker 4: to look like Madden.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Physically, it would have been odd.
- 5:41Speaker 1: But you feel like the offer to do Howard Cosell
- 5:44Speaker 1: was not an offer at all.
- 5:45Speaker 2: It was you consulting.
- 5:46Speaker 3: No, I don't think so. It was you consulting for free.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Why would you ask me to do Howard Cosell? I've
- 5:49Speaker 4: had that before where they just want to talk to
- 5:51Speaker 4: me about something. They have an audition just so I
- 5:54Speaker 4: can talk to him about something I do.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:57Speaker 4: And then people are like, oh, that's how you do it. Like,
- 6:00Speaker 4: I'm not the right, I wouldn't be the right type
- 6:02Speaker 4: for Howard Cosell either. It doesn't make sense.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Yes.
- 6:05Speaker 4: So I was like, nobody's just trying to force you
- 6:07Speaker 4: into a movie. Like, they put Shane Gillis in the movie.
- 6:10Speaker 4: They gave him a great part, it looks like. So
- 6:12Speaker 4: he got a good part. He didn't have to be
- 6:14Speaker 4: a guy.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Right.
- 6:15Speaker 4: You know, that had to be a specific guy. If
- 6:18Speaker 4: they really want me in the movie, they're not going
- 6:19Speaker 4: to cast me as Howard Cosell. Cast me as some
- 6:21Speaker 4: little part. that says, here's your water, Mr.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Madden. Thank you. I shall call him mini-me.
- 6:28Speaker 2: But then he can't make fun of it.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 6:31Speaker 4: I mean, if I had a scene like that, maybe
- 6:33Speaker 4: there's something, you know. And there could have been, in
- 6:35Speaker 4: the movie, if they got to that part where there's.
- 6:38Speaker 3: A part where I hate Caliendo, that would be a
- 6:40Speaker 3: great scene.
- 6:41Speaker 7: I'll play me in that movie. I wish I could
- 6:43Speaker 7: just stop him like a bug. You know, you got
- 6:45Speaker 7: a little bug down there. That's Caliendo. You ever have
- 6:49Speaker 7: one of those, you ever have one of those, you know, the.
- 6:53Speaker 3: The eyeglass thing. What's that thing that the magnifying glass
- 6:55Speaker 3: magnifying glass.
- 6:56Speaker 8: Right.
- 6:56Speaker 7: And you remember how, when you're a little kid, you
- 6:58Speaker 7: burn ants, but we would burn Caliendo. That little, little Caliendo.
- 7:04Speaker 7: We're going to burn them into nothingness.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Frank, you passed up an opportunity though, to be in a,
- 7:11Speaker 1: on a zoom call, regardless of the situation and scenario
- 7:14Speaker 1: with Nicholas cage.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I mean, you can hang up whenever you want. He's like,
- 7:18Speaker 3: I'm done with this.
- 7:19Speaker 4: That's who cares about the zoom call. I thought they
- 7:22Speaker 4: would say yes to the, to go hang out with them.
- 7:24Speaker 4: I thought they really would, even if it would be
- 7:27Speaker 4: like a, you know, offsite, not at his house or something.
- 7:30Speaker 4: Plus when you're talking to somebody, you can only give
- 7:32Speaker 4: so much instruction. It's, You could work with somebody on
- 7:36Speaker 4: the vocalization of how to get there. That would be
- 7:38Speaker 4: like actually working with somebody. I just felt like that
- 7:41Speaker 4: was kind of ridiculous.
- 7:42Speaker 3: And who knows? Maybe they weren't even really going to
- 7:43Speaker 3: do that. I mean, it was pitched out there to do.
- 7:46Speaker 2: It, but who knows? Do you have a Cosell in there?
- 7:49Speaker 2: I probably should know this, but do you have one?
- 7:51Speaker 3: No, not really.
- 7:52Speaker 4: I mean, Madden feels old enough and out of the
- 7:55Speaker 4: loop until now that it's this big movie.
- 7:58Speaker 3: But Cosell... I.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Mean, I could, this is how it goes. I mean,
- 8:02Speaker 4: that's all I could probably do. And Billy Crystal's like,
- 8:05Speaker 4: why don't they, why don't they cast me?
- 8:06Speaker 3: I could do it. I'd be fantastic. So I don't know.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Frank, have you ever mashed up, by the way, Palm Beach, Florida,
- 8:14Speaker 1: October 9th, October 10th, Palm Beach Improv.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Am I saying that correctly?
- 8:18Speaker 3: I think so.
- 8:19Speaker 6: Yes.
- 8:19Speaker 2: In Wellington, by the way, right?
- 8:21Speaker 3: Wellington, Wellington. It's a fantastic place.
- 8:23Speaker 2: There's a lot of people.
- 8:24Speaker 3: They're flying to my airport.
- 8:25Speaker 2: They got a tremendous airport.
- 8:26Speaker 3: It wasn't my airport. It was pubby. It was pubby.
- 8:29Speaker 3: And now it's digital. It's going to be probably one
- 8:32Speaker 3: of the best airports you've ever seen.
- 8:34Speaker 2: So many people.
- 8:35Speaker 3: It's going to be busier than Atlanta, bigger than Chicago.
- 8:38Speaker 3: And so many people are going to say, we got
- 8:39Speaker 3: to go through D-J-T. Digital. Digital. Digital. You've heard of digital? Well,
- 8:47Speaker 3: this is digital.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Frank, I am wondering, because I've never asked you this,
- 9:02Speaker 1: have you ever like mashed up characters? Like, is there
- 9:05Speaker 1: a way for you to do Morgan Freeman as John Madden?
- 9:09Speaker 2: Like, is that even? I'm asking a lot.
- 9:11Speaker 3: So would you want it like Madden?
- 9:13Speaker 7: Like, would it be Morgan Freeman saying, hey, that guy
- 9:17Speaker 7: looks like he got hit by a freight train?
- 9:19Speaker 3: That would be... Morgan Freeman doing the Madden line.
- 9:22Speaker 7: But if I wanted to do Morgan Freeman and get
- 9:25Speaker 7: a little John Madden in there, that would be, I mean,
- 9:28Speaker 7: it would be somewhere in here. But I think a
- 9:31Speaker 7: cleaner version would just be me saying things like John
- 9:34Speaker 7: Madden said. That's just Brett Favre being Brett Favre. Right
- 9:39Speaker 7: there's Frankie bagging donuts. You see right there?
- 9:43Speaker 3: It looks like his uniform is a bag of donuts.
- 9:46Speaker 7: That's a tremendous amount of fat rolls is what that is.
- 9:49Speaker 3: But I'm Frankie. It's a bag of donuts.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm just going to blurt out characters, and you say
- 9:56Speaker 1: very Madden-esque things, okay?
- 9:58Speaker 3: I'm trying to think of some of them. things.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Turkey legs, I mean, boom, pap, whatever you want to do. Yeah, okay. Okay.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Jim Rohn, please.
- 10:10Speaker 7: Boom!
- 10:13Speaker 3: How great was that? Boom. Incredible.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Like, it's hard to do Rome doing that.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Okay, right.
- 10:20Speaker 2: No, it's too close.
- 10:21Speaker 9: And that is just Brett Favre being Brett Favre.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Dude is like a– he wouldn't say dude.
- 10:27Speaker 9: He's like a linebacker playing quarterback.
- 10:32Speaker 3: How great is that?
- 10:34Speaker 2: Let me try someone a little bit further away from Madden, okay?
- 10:37Speaker 3: Okay, yeah.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Robert De Niro.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Okay, okay. You got, see that?
- 10:44Speaker 8: You see how many turkey legs there are? See all
- 10:45Speaker 8: these turkey legs? There's a lot of turkey legs, huh?
- 10:48Speaker 8: So to make a turducken, you know what a turducken is? Pat, Pat, Pat,
- 10:52Speaker 8: do you know what a turducken is? Patino's Pat Summerall.
- 10:55Speaker 3: No, I don't, John.
- 10:59Speaker 8: You stuff a chicken, you add a chicken, you stuff
- 11:01Speaker 8: it into a duck, and stuff that into a turkey.
- 11:03Speaker 3: And that's a turducken. Huh?
- 11:05Speaker 2: Huh?
- 11:05Speaker 3: You like a turducken? Sounds great, John. Let's eat.
- 11:10Speaker 1: October 9th and 10th at the West Brom Improv.
- 11:15Speaker 2: You're killing me. The faces kill me. They absolutely kill me.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of another character that would be
- 11:21Speaker 1: good for you to.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Do, Matt.
- 11:22Speaker 2: And I'm sorry I went to gym room too early.
- 11:25Speaker 2: It was too quick.
- 11:26Speaker 5: No.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Uh, yeah, I'm trying to think of some of those.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Oh, how about Stephen A? Is that too close? Is
- 11:32Speaker 2: Sandler too close?
- 11:33Speaker 3: I understand.
- 11:35Speaker 4: I understand that the heat coming off that man's head
- 11:38Speaker 4: is coming up looking like vapor.
- 11:40Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 11:41Speaker 4: It's hard to do that. Those are the sports guys. Uh,
- 11:45Speaker 4: I mean, Robert Denauer, Robert Downey Jr. That, that guy
- 11:47Speaker 4: looks like he got hit by a freight train. That
- 11:49Speaker 4: man looks like, uh, here.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:51Speaker 3: So here's the deal.
- 11:52Speaker 4: That, that guy looks like he got hit by a
- 11:54Speaker 4: freight train. I was thinking in my head it was like,
- 11:57Speaker 4: that man's playing Galaga.
- 11:58Speaker 3: We thought we wouldn't manage, but we did.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Like Avengers line, so something like that.
- 12:02Speaker 3: John C.
- 12:03Speaker 11: Reilly actually would have been a great John Madden. He's
- 12:07Speaker 11: going to go over there, and he's running that way,
- 12:10Speaker 11: and then he's running back that way, and then boom,
- 12:12Speaker 11: he hits him in the chest. And that's just Brett
- 12:16Speaker 11: Favre being Brett Favre right there. Hey, Brett, did you
- 12:20Speaker 11: touch my drum set? Hey, did you touch my drumstick?
- 12:25Speaker 11: Did you touch my drumstick?
- 12:30Speaker 2: Would John Gruden like to promote Frank Caliendo's?
- 12:33Speaker 4: I'll tell you what, Frank Caliendo, Wellington, man, it's going
- 12:36Speaker 4: to be incredible over there at the new Palm Beach Improv.
- 12:40Speaker 4: I'm only about four hours away at the FFCA. I
- 12:43Speaker 4: popped into Caliendo doing a show over there. Side Splitters
- 12:46Speaker 4: in Tampa did a little time. I'll tell you what, man,
- 12:49Speaker 4: that's tremendous stuff. But go to FrankOnStage.com and you can
- 12:53Speaker 4: see Frank at the Palm Beach Improv October 9th and 10th.
- 12:58Speaker 4: FrankOnStage.com to get tickets, man.
- 13:00Speaker 3: It's going to be incredible.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Can you muster up a Bill Walton as John Madden?
- 13:04Speaker 3: That's almost the same voice. How great is that?
- 13:09Speaker 10: Barry Sanders rising to the occasion. The entire arena rising
- 13:17Speaker 10: as one. Barry cuts one way. He cuts the other way.
- 13:21Speaker 10: And look, the defender's still going the wrong way.
- 13:26Speaker 2: FrankOnStage.com.
- 13:27Speaker 1: All right, I'm going to shift to baseball here because
- 13:30Speaker 1: the playoffs get underway. This is something I was discussing
- 13:33Speaker 1: with you before the Major League Baseball season started. It
- 13:37Speaker 1: started 10 months ago, though. So I want to do this.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Because we never did this. I feel like we were
- 13:44Speaker 3: going to do. Oh, we didn't.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever done this. Not with you.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Not with me and Dan. Not me and Hawk. I
- 13:48Speaker 2: don't think anyone's ever asked you to do this.
- 13:50Speaker 1: But there is the famous James Earl Jones speech from
- 13:54Speaker 1: Field of Dreams. I want to use this as a
- 13:56Speaker 1: way to get people fired up for baseball's postseason. So, Frank,
- 14:01Speaker 1: however you want to do this, you have the speech
- 14:03Speaker 1: in hand. It's from Field of Dreams. Yeah, call out
- 14:06Speaker 1: a name or two.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Give me a name. All right.
- 14:08Speaker 1: So you want to start with, well, I'm trying to
- 14:10Speaker 1: think who's the funniest name to say baseball, Ray.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Let's start with Jim Rowe. How about we start there?
- 14:18Speaker 3: Baseball, Ray. People will come, Ray.
- 14:21Speaker 9: They'll come to Iowa for reasons they can't even fathom.
- 14:26Speaker 9: They'll turn up your driveway not knowing for sure why
- 14:31Speaker 9: they're doing it. They'll arrive at your door as innocent
- 14:34Speaker 9: as children longing for the past.
- 14:37Speaker 3: And now we'll go to John Madden.
- 14:39Speaker 7: Of course, we won't mind you looking to look around.
- 14:42Speaker 7: You say it's only $ 20 per person. Oh, they'll pass
- 14:46Speaker 7: over the money without even thinking about it for it
- 14:50Speaker 7: is money that they have and a piece.
- 14:52Speaker 3: That they lack. And they'll walk out to the bleachers.
- 14:58Speaker 3: And sitting in shirt sleeves.
- 14:59Speaker 7: On a perfect afternoon, they'll find they have reserved seats
- 15:03Speaker 7: somewhere along the baselines where they sat when they were
- 15:06Speaker 7: children and cheered their heroes.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Kuiper.
- 15:10Speaker 5: And talk about, they'll watch the game, and the idea
- 15:13Speaker 5: is if they dip themselves in magic waters, the memories
- 15:17Speaker 5: will be so thick, you'll have to brush them away
- 15:20Speaker 5: from their faces.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Todd, Todd, Todd, people will come, Todd.
- 15:26Speaker 12: The one constant through the years.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Todd has been baseball.
- 15:32Speaker 4: You're cracking yourself up.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Ray is Todd.
- 15:37Speaker 12: It took me a second to figure out who was
- 15:39Speaker 12: who and go to De Niro. America has rolled by
- 15:43Speaker 12: like an army of steamrollers. Robert De Niro, Robert Downey Jr.
- 15:47Speaker 12: Then it's been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again.
- 15:51Speaker 12: But baseball has marked the time. In this field, we
- 15:57Speaker 12: went Gruden here.
- 15:58Speaker 3: This game.
- 15:59Speaker 8: Yes.
- 15:59Speaker 4: It's part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of
- 16:03Speaker 4: all ones that was good.
- 16:05Speaker 3: I tell you what, man. And, oh, people will come, Ray.
- 16:09Speaker 4: People will most definitely come.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Barkley.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Barkley. Let's see. I don't know if that cut out
- 16:17Speaker 3: where I was looking at, man.
- 16:19Speaker 7: I might have grabbed the wrong piece of paper.
- 16:23Speaker 3: The speech is over?
- 16:24Speaker 4: I think I might have gotten the pages out of order.
- 16:28Speaker 3: This was terrible. Come on, man. If I'm going to
- 16:32Speaker 3: print out the speech, I've got to get in the order, man.
- 16:34Speaker 3: This is the worst thing I've ever seen. People will come, Ray.
- 16:37Speaker 3: I heard that part. Yes. People will most definitely come.
- 16:40Speaker 3: I think we did that. Yes.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I think we're at the end of the speech. I
- 16:43Speaker 2: think we've arrived.
- 16:44Speaker 7: I don't think there is a way. This starts doing
- 16:47Speaker 7: a commercial in the middle of what I printed out.
- 16:49Speaker 3: That's terrible. By the way, Capital One, it's in your wallet.
- 16:56Speaker 4: I thought I printed out the whole speech, and apparently
- 16:58Speaker 4: it starts doing an ad in the middle.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I mean, listen, people will come, Ray.
- 17:04Speaker 4: People got to be fired up about baseball now. From that,
- 17:10Speaker 4: I mean, I've never seen people get– this is how
- 17:12Speaker 4: we should have started.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Yes.
- 17:14Speaker 7: Morgan Freeman, people will come, Ray. They'll come to Iowa
- 17:18Speaker 7: for reasons they can't even fathom.
- 17:20Speaker 11: Oh, yes.
- 17:20Speaker 7: They'll turn up your driveway not knowing for sure why
- 17:23Speaker 7: they're doing it.
- 17:24Speaker 3: And once again, these pages are out of order.
- 17:26Speaker 5: Yes.
- 17:28Speaker 2: It's OK. We should have done the whole thing as
- 17:31Speaker 2: Morgan Freeman.
- 17:32Speaker 1: In fact, I'm not certain Morgan should have given the
- 17:34Speaker 1: speech instead of James Earl Jones.
- 17:36Speaker 3: But it was James Earl Jones. That is pretty awesome.
- 17:38Speaker 3: James Earl Jones. It is. It is.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I listen.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I make a promise to you. OK, Frank on stage

- 17:53Speaker 2: It next week.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Yeah, let's do it. Let's do it for real.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Do you want to promote your shaking his head? He
- 18:00Speaker 1: gets so upset and I don't care.
- 18:02Speaker 3: I'm not upset. I thought it was fun. It was
- 18:04Speaker 3: it was it was a little bit horrible.
- 18:06Speaker 4: But that's that's just that's just Caliendo being Caliendo, man.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Frank on stage dot com, October 9th and 10th in Wellington,

- 18:31Speaker 4: Well, you were texting me back and then I was
- 18:33Speaker 4: about to go on stage. I'm like more soon, dot, dot, dot,
- 18:36Speaker 4: which is my standard.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Listen, I don't need to hear about preparation from you.
- 18:41Speaker 2: You're so right.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And this wasn't just Frank being Frank. It was also
