- 0:14Did we use the extra time? To get ahead of schedule, we did
- 0:18not. Not even a little it.
- 0:21We did not, but I don't think our listeners would have
- 0:24expected. Anything less?
- 0:25No anything less or more from us because.
- 0:28This is how we like to roll. We roll and fly by the seat of
- 0:31our pants. Yes, so.
- 0:33Here we go. I am.
- 0:36I just remembered that we're recording at home, not the
- 0:39library tonight, because we put this till such last minute.
- 0:42The library is closed. It's.
- 0:44It's true, but I had to go to AI had a show in I had a.
- 0:48Show in the show. In at the Fox and so we went to
- 0:51see the show and Juliet Mayor's here she she went to the show.
- 0:57Mayor. Hi listeners, it's there.
- 1:00Awesome show. Our view, our show.

- 1:07Listening. Your silence.
- 1:11Is very sure. I I have not, but I, I promise
- 1:16to go and listen to the back catalog soon.
- 1:18I don't believe you. I will.
- 1:19I will listen to the back catalog soon.
- 1:21She she was referring to the show and Juliet and actually
- 1:24listeners, it is a slang. It's so great a slang.
- 1:29I got that from my youngest daughter.
- 1:30That's the cool way to say it's awesome.
- 1:33We loved every minute. It's start to finish.
- 1:35It's wonderful. You'll love it.
- 1:36Go see it if you ever get a chance.
- 1:37But sorry, the last show was today.
- 1:41So you can't if it ever comes back.
- 1:43Gotta wait till it comes back. Jump on that shit, all of that.
- 1:48You're in here first. Well, I I got well, I was going
- 1:54to say the library may be closed, but I remembered that I
- 1:58poured myself a glass of old smoking salted caramel whiskey,
- 2:01which I could not do at the I didn't do that.
- 2:04Did not. Share Oh, Ashley is Ashley our
- 2:09everything is here, but in the other room.
- 2:11Ashley, can you hold up the bottle of salty caramel whiskey
- 2:13that we found at the Total Wine and more?
- 2:16Have you almost drank it all? Total wine and total absolutely.
- 2:20She's the drinker, but not today.
- 2:23I have this is my. First, she's still look.
- 2:29At this look at. This look at this.
- 2:31We're supposed to pick Oh my Lord.
- 2:34It is. It is more than double the size
- 2:35of the bottle you'll get at at the at the Schnucks for it's
- 2:40less than double the price, so it's a deal huge 36 dollars.
- 2:45Fantastic. What a 10?
- 2:4650 folks, and she has. Been doing it, might last about
- 2:49a week. Well.
- 2:50Now I got to write that down too.
- 2:52I forgot about this. What did you forget about?
- 2:54All the shit we've been doing. It's been a busy week.
- 2:57We're like, what are we going to talk about?
- 2:58And now I'm being reminded of all the shit we've done in the
- 3:00two weeks I sold you. You're right, I was happy at the
- 3:04football now and it's sad just to.
- 3:06Drive, I've always worked, Listener I've always.
- 3:10Parents like wait wait wait a minute.
- 3:13Can we clarify this? She worked very hard but from
- 3:16her home, but now I work at a. Commute.
- 3:18Now I work even harder, but in the office they've.
- 3:21Taken her away from me and I. Don't get this.
- 3:24You know what I did bring it up in my one-on-one.
- 3:26You know, think of the podcast manager.
- 3:30I did not actually bring it up. I did not.
- 3:32You should. You should have sent erlink and
- 3:34said you need to listen to this and this is impacting our.
- 3:38Quality recording time. It actually do you know it is.
- 3:41It is because I was so busy and stressed when we last recorded
- 3:46that I forgot to mention to you. Do you know what last episode
- 3:49was? No, it was episode 69.
- 3:53And a lot of good content with Loft.
- 3:56We didn't make a single job. Even a single man.
- 4:00Disappointment. Wow.
- 4:01This is I'm disappointed in this.
- 4:02You know Abby's too busy because she didn't even.
- 4:05Make a single joke, even a joke. No, she didn't make a joke for
- 4:08the day. She was driving to work.
- 4:09She was in the left lane and there was a person that was very
- 4:12slow in front of her. Yes, she was yelling in her car.
- 4:16It's it's hurt. This is the lane for.
- 4:18Crime. He was going the speed limit.
- 4:21I was like, this is the lane for crime, get over.
- 4:25I had never heard that. Oh, that was funny to me.
- 4:28That was a new one for me. I never.
- 4:30Heard that, I believe so. The next thing when she was
- 4:31driving, she's like everyone to work.
- 4:33She's going on Saturday of all all day.
- 4:35All day. And who does that?
- 4:37Unless you're a bank teller. She.
- 4:38Was driving now I was making sure she was saving as are you
- 4:40in the lane for crime and she said no and I was like OK good,
- 4:43stay out of that lane. Yeah, I then immediately went
- 4:46over. To the lane OK, all right, well,
- 4:49let's my beef I'll. Tell you what my beef is.
- 4:51What's the beef? I've realized something.
- 4:52Oh, let me hear it. We switched to every other week
- 4:56right before pride month and I homophobic of us God.
- 5:01How homophobic. Could this be This is not going
- 5:04to reflect well on the podcast. Again, disappointment.
- 5:09I will be overcome. This we can go back to
- 5:11everything just for June. What do Ashley what for?
- 5:15Cancelling show? Ashley's cancelling us.
- 5:19If she listened, I'd be worried. I don't believe you.
- 5:24Oh boy. Actually, actually, you know, I
- 5:26take that back. Ashley does listen because I've
- 5:28started editing it in the living room.
- 5:30So she listens while I edit. So she does actually listen.
- 5:33Now she has to. Listen, whether she wanted to or
- 5:35not, yes. And that's how we get all of our
- 5:37listeners. It's true.
- 5:38It is. It's either forcing or bribery.
- 5:41You know it's a specialty. Well, true.
- 5:44Let's. Put.
- 5:45Your sauce. Oh Oh well, I would you have a
- 5:48tray into the sauce. Why not?
- 5:50Our sauce this week is Taylor's Southern Pride BBQ sauce.
- 5:54Thank you Taylors for supporting Pride Month.
- 5:57We appreciate with your Southern pride, your.
- 5:59Southern pride BBQ? I assume it's normally just a
- 6:02southern BBQ sauce and now it's southern pride?
- 6:05Absolutely. Good job.
- 6:08I don't think I don't think Taylors from North Carolina
- 6:11would appreciate. US.
- 6:13With our jokes. That's your own fault.
- 6:16You makes your choices. You makes your choice for pride.
- 6:19That's what you get for for good Google Analytics because they
- 6:21came up first when I could put pride sauce.
- 6:29You makes your choices. Well, thank you for a gay sauce.
- 6:34It's all on. You that's off on their face.
- 6:40Well, I got AI got a couple things I remember.
- 6:42So I'm going to get back to these things that have to do
- 6:45pride month. But real quick, real quick recap
- 6:49one, the reason I got that big ass bottle of whiskey is because
- 6:52my sisters came over and we had another fast and furious night.
- 6:55They do a fast watch the fast and furious movies and then they
- 6:58they we do a drinking game. Oh, OK, because neither Sam nor
- 7:02I nor Olivia had ever seen any of the fast and furious movies.
- 7:06I haven't seen two. I see two.
- 7:08We've now seen up to Tokyo Drift.
- 7:11I guess was that #3? Or #8.
- 7:14It's unclear if it's if it's somewhere between 2:00 and 3:00
- 7:19or whatever, but we've watched at least three of them and but
- 7:23they've done three. No, I'll tell you one of the one
- 7:26of the stipulations on the game for Tokyo Drift was to drink
- 7:29every time they drift. And I'll be honest, the game.
- 7:33Nearly killed me. OK.
- 7:35The movie is called Tokyo Drift. Maybe.
- 7:39Who? Who decided?
- 7:40That it. Almost killed you and that you
- 7:44said you were just by the time you were a third, third or
- 7:48fourth away movie through the movie, you decided that the goal
- 7:50now was just to stay alive. Yeah, it's true.
- 7:53Well, I'll tell you what. You know what?
- 7:55Thanks for asking. And I'll tell you what happened.
- 7:58I. There is a clarify listeners.
- 8:01I have not been invited. Well, I take it back.
- 8:03I was invited to the number three.
- 8:04I was like. I know you didn't just say that
- 8:07you not I literally said you want to come over.
- 8:09I was invited to the third movie drinking party, not the first
- 8:11two, but I did pass. Away I did.
- 8:15One pass away. Yeah, I saw you.
- 8:17Know without seeing the first two you might not have gotten
- 8:20the concept of the movie. Oh, you think not?
- 8:23You think not? You're right.
- 8:24It might be tough. I'll.
- 8:27Tell. You what it's called what
- 8:29happened in the 1st 2 movies. I couldn't tell you what
- 8:34happened. Tokyo Drift.
- 8:35Other than they drifted and I know because I drank every time.
- 8:38So the bottles I took the advantage of staying home with
- 8:42with my hubby and having a nice evening.
- 8:44With just that lovely. So that was love.
- 8:46Well, we, we when we were watching the the first one, I
- 8:50had bought a bottle of UV blue. OK, not because I particularly
- 8:55enjoy UV blue, but it it because like it's straight, it's cheap
- 8:59and I can drink it straight. I don't need a mixer.
- 9:01And so it's cheap. I didn't say that.
- 9:05I said it's the best thing you can drink straight without a
- 9:09mixer. Like not not the best thing, but
- 9:12like, you know, a cheaty thing that you can.
- 9:15So I can buy that big ass bottle that's over there.
- 9:18It's probably 10 bucks at least cheaper than that salty caramel
- 9:22so easily. So the point is now this
- 9:25actually Harkins back to my college days.
- 9:27And listener Emily and listener Taylor can attest to this, that
- 9:30that there was a competition once and I won't go into this,
- 9:33but I drink my UV blue, but I won.
- 9:36That's so bad. So apparently she will.
- 9:37Go and do it. But so that's become.
- 9:41The the drink, the drink typically, right.
- 9:43So I poured myself one red solo cup of nothing but UV.
- 9:47I think there was a few ice cubes straight up in there as
- 9:49well. And I, I looked at this cup and
- 9:52I went that will get me through the movie.
- 9:54I say to myself, because the one of the stipulations for the
- 9:59movie was drink. Every time they say Dom, that's
- 10:03Vin Diesel's character Dom's name.
- 10:05OK, Well, approximately like 15 minutes into the movie, there is
- 10:10a scene where, like, there's a fight that's about to go on
- 10:12outside. And I tell you that they say his
- 10:14name. I mean, no less than 15 times.
- 10:17Boom boom boom. Boom boom boom boom I.
- 10:20I had downed a cup. We are maybe 25 minutes in this
- 10:23movie and I have finished it and I am halfway through with second
- 10:26glass and I was like we get to a part and sounds like they show
- 10:31the gear shift. We have to drink and I go Sam,
- 10:33I'll be honest with you right now I have to just focus on not
- 10:36dying. That's what I have to do.
- 10:40I now things did not get that bad.
- 10:43We paced ourselves the Tokyo drift tell the story.
- 10:46Ashley, yes, because Ashley had gotten she got some kind of like
- 10:54tequila mixed. Yeah, some kind of tequila mixed
- 10:58drink. It's like a strawberry Margarita
- 11:00sort of thing. Yeah, delicious.
- 11:02And it's meant to be drank just as it it's already kind of mixed
- 11:05together. And so she had bought 2 bottles
- 11:08of this. OK, for the first, for the
- 11:11first, for the first show which? Was necessary because of the
- 11:14rule. Turns out right.
- 11:15Turns out so she. Now it's not a huge bottle, so
- 11:18it's not like my salty carpet, but she drinks one entire one
- 11:24now. Meanwhile, cut to me and and Sam
- 11:26and Olivia are like just fighting for our lives on the
- 11:30couch, right? Well, well, she had finished
- 11:36one. Now she goes back to the fridge
- 11:38because she has to get a refill because the movie is killing us
- 11:41because the movie is killing us and and she owes the fridge.
- 11:45And there's like a pause. Then also you just hear.
- 11:47Which one of you bitches drank my tequila and we all look
- 11:52around? Like what the I'm like, I have
- 11:55my cup is neon blue. Like what do you mean?
- 11:58And we're like. You did.
- 12:03Ashley had drank so much tequila she had forgotten that she had
- 12:06finished her tequila. Oh my God, God bless her.
- 12:10God bless her. That's hilarious when I.
- 12:14Drink I forget things when she. When she.
- 12:19And I don't know if the listeners can hear.
- 12:21Her. It's true they got drunk at the
- 12:23Casa Maria. Because the Casa Maria makes
- 12:25their margaritas, they Casa Maria.
- 12:27Has some of my favorite margaritas.
- 12:28They're delicious. They come in and they're.
- 12:30Strong. They're strong.
- 12:31You get your money's worth of Casa Maria the.
- 12:33Other tips that night, luckily. Some Olivia was not only to
- 12:36drive, Yeah. Liv had to drive and so we got
- 12:39home safe but actually in tank top on over another tank top and
- 12:43the first tank top had shifted over and she.
- 12:45Said look down and said Sam, why are you telling me my little
- 12:48titty was out now? Listener, I just want to be
- 12:52clear. The other tank top wasn't
- 12:54playing her her. Titties were not hanging out.
- 12:56To be clear, titties were out at the customer.
- 12:59Radio. That's funny.
- 13:00Everybody laughs. So we were drunk.
- 13:02Right. I'm with you.
- 13:03We're trying to pay. We're bothered.
- 13:05Gangling. While we're trying to pay, these
- 13:07two are outside yelled about titties.
- 13:09Tell us how to come out. There's a ruckus.
- 13:11Going on, we come out, they're dying, they're dying.
- 13:14Everything. Olivia had to drive us home.
- 13:16Olivia's just like this is honest to God bullshit and.
- 13:20Then I got to drive and then I think you.
- 13:24Guys came back to that as we watched the movie we.
- 13:25Did I said fun? Night.
- 13:28Somebody drive. Us home, we needed that age gap
- 13:30so the rest of us could get home.
- 13:31Wait, purposefully, that's what it was.
- 13:36I said you guys have two kids and then a DD wait seven years.
- 13:41Perfect. So, yeah.
- 13:44So, so we had a Fast and furious movie that was fun, a classic.
- 13:47Now another another thing you you've been make you've been
- 13:52making some some bracelets. Look, I'm wearing it.
- 13:58It is a homemade fresh. And it's.
- 14:05I can tell. You made it this way.
- 14:09Wait, wait. That's was this.
- 14:11Took long and hard thought. This this was a lot of thought.
- 14:17For us, look how they are. They're very.
- 14:19Adorable, but that's. A horde.
- 14:21Well, it was upside down, but flower.
- 14:24Oh, you're right. This is a pair of titties.
- 14:28Heart. Heart originally was a butt,
- 14:30right? It was meant to be a butt.
- 14:32Oh. I didn't know this.
- 14:35Legit what? What?
- 14:39Wait, was this before emojis? Emojis, yes.
- 14:47I'll tell you. How long has a heart been a
- 14:50symbol like that? I mean clearly.
- 14:54An emoji land. It looks like a heart you.
- 14:58Made me right, but if you put it upside down.
- 15:00But she right. But, but you can't put it upside
- 15:03down in emoji land. So I didn't put upside down in
- 15:08emoji land. Where the fuck is emoji land?
- 15:10Right there in your phone. Right there in your.
- 15:16Phone How much you guys been drinking?
- 15:18No, unfortunately. Oh my God.
- 15:21Well. I I'll tell you that that it I
- 15:25see that bracelet. Here we go, the drawn hearts of
- 15:27the origin is. Debated.
- 15:30One theory suggests it's inspired by the shape of a
- 15:32female buttocks. I'll be honest, it's it's shaped
- 15:35like male buttocks as well. Let's.
- 15:37Be honest, buttocks or buttocks. But no, it's not.
- 15:39Because women have hips well. True we are in dope.
- 15:42I just assumed that it's more like like as the point is at the
- 15:46top that maybe maybe the torso is going.
- 15:48Off into the distance so far. Maybe it is Mr. Fantastic's
- 15:53buttocks. This is it's.
- 15:55Stretched away. All that's stretching the frame,
- 15:58Mr. Fantastic. Has awesome buttass.
- 16:01That's true. What?
- 16:04Let's see here. A psychology professor theorized
- 16:06that the traditional double lobed hearts symbol on cards and
- 16:11candy is inspired by the appearance of a Lowe's buttocks
- 16:14from behind. The series based on essential
- 16:18literary and speculative evidence, so no.
- 16:21Nothing. Nothing.
- 16:22Meaning. Nobody knows.
- 16:24No, really, no. Especially the fact that the
- 16:27heart. Doesn't resemble even closely
- 16:30human heart. It's shrewd.
- 16:33It's not, but it does resemble A buttock.
- 16:35It does resemble a buttock. If you turn.
- 16:37Around because Sam and I were making bracelets and she said Oh
- 16:40no, no, we were making top letters as well.
- 16:41We made some of each. Let's put some pics.
- 16:43We made some good ones. I'm up my game.
- 16:45They are on and. Now that I can see my game is
- 16:49better, we. Did put a Porter upside down and
- 16:51it was supposed to be hard, so we went, oh, we just made butts.
- 16:55But we left on you. We never.
- 16:57What's that stickers on there? It's not coming.
- 16:58Nope. It's not, and somebody will
- 17:00laugh when they get. It I have terrible news.
- 17:01What's your news? My Christy Tamaguchi pen is
- 17:03dying. No, I know.
- 17:07My my pen from Sam's work never actually works.
- 17:12It's terrible. Well, anyway, OK, So what else?
- 17:15So I got the bracelets, we got the bracelets covered.
- 17:18Post some pics with my bracelets you all tell me if you think
- 17:20they look terrible. I didn't say they look terrible.
- 17:23I said it looked it looked like it was made with love.
- 17:26It did not hand crafted. I'm saying them.
- 17:28I know. I'm trying to say if you're hand
- 17:29crafted, I could tell that you made it.
- 17:32Lots of thought, lots and lots of lots of love over the Yeah,
- 17:37she did. I can.
- 17:37Tell, I think. I think I had two bracelets made
- 17:41before she started. On hers, yeah, because I was
- 17:43like. This one's mine.
- 17:44When's yours? The one you're gonna keep?
- 17:47Like worry, like what do I wanted to look?
- 17:48Like I just I just made. I would just personally I would
- 17:51just make a bunch and whichever the one I like the most, that's
- 17:53the one I. Well, Mayor decided to keep
- 17:55everyone she made. I did, I did and then then I
- 17:58then I just tore myself away from them and put them in the to
- 18:02give. Away and.
- 18:03Like I can't get done. Like an addict.
- 18:05This one's great. Maybe I'll keep this one.
- 18:07Another one. Damn, I like this one too.
- 18:09And we're like, listen, listen, the giveaway pile needs to be
- 18:11bigger than break. Yeah, yeah.
- 18:15So. So how are we gonna make any
- 18:16money? This is your dad, your.
- 18:17Dad tells Sam, do you do you sell these concerts?
- 18:22It sounds like no, they're just giveaways.
- 18:24What? How much money are you spending?
- 18:28She's like, it's not. About the money, Dad, it's.
- 18:30About not the connection, the connection.
- 18:33It's about the money a little bit with your father.
- 18:36So. So that was pretty.
- 18:39Funny. That's good.
- 18:40Yeah. We've been hard at work.
- 18:41We made 300 bracelets. We mixed up Sammy Kichi Sammy
- 18:48bracelets. And then we made 300 top
- 18:51loaders, 300 bookmarks, OK. And we put some stickers in
- 18:57there. And then this is, and this is
- 19:00for what? A local charity situate kids
- 19:02concert. In the great city of Chicago.
- 19:05Yep, we're going to Wrigley Field and she got a little these
- 19:08little zipper pouches and we put everything in there in this
- 19:09little giveaway, freaky little pouch.
- 19:12We did we. Did is it called?
- 19:15Timeline time. I call it a time warp.
- 19:21Of a phone. And film does.
- 19:25Filling the bags and then it it. Goes like really fast.
- 19:28Time lamps, side lamps, OK. It's time jump or time warp
- 19:31sometimes. Darn.
- 19:31Yeah, I went to sing the song. And I, I think I said time jump.
- 19:35And they were like. You went through time in order
- 19:38to make. The braces and anyway it's time
- 19:40lamps and then OK, this is in the storage OK, so she was
- 19:45exactly. The same.
- 19:47OK, that's enough. And she's following us.
- 19:49And we're sitting at a table and I'm on the end of farthest away
- 19:51from the camera, and they're on the two sides.
- 19:53And Sam was putting the top loader in the envelope and then
- 19:57handing it to shooting him to us.
- 19:59And I was adding bracelets and live with adding key chain and
- 20:02and I was zipping them. And so, but then when you watch
- 20:04it, you know it's fat. It's just, it's like a poker.
- 20:06Game but I. Had never seen a a time lapse
- 20:09before. I didn't know what they were
- 20:10talking about. Maybe seen one that I didn't
- 20:11know, you know, when they filmed on the phone what it was going
- 20:13to look like. And I was just like, you know,
- 20:15working all day, all night. I was kind of uncomfortable and
- 20:18I was like. Man, I kind of want to take my
- 20:20brow off on on the time lamp. And I went like this.
- 20:25I took my hands and I went like this across my chest and I go,
- 20:27should I take my problem? They fit the time lamp.
- 20:31It'll be kind of funny if you just kind of shoot off the
- 20:33sleeve. It's been really funny.
- 20:37And they're both like, stop moving your hands across your
- 20:42head. They're building this.
- 20:43And I went oh, oh, oh. I can only imagine, hey, Can you
- 20:48imagine the finished product? Yep, exactly what's your hand is
- 20:54your hands frankly holding these bags and then you see my hands
- 20:57go across my chest. Well, I in symptoms are being
- 21:01zipped and then then the hands. Start.
- 21:05So we've watched it when we got that and.
- 21:07Then we're laughing a stare. It was pretty good, so that was
- 21:11fun. My face of devastation was that
- 21:13I remembered something and it has to do with Cry month.
- 21:17OK, OK, you got to say it. We're both saying.
- 21:19Like emotional on your every, you know, waiting on baby breath
- 21:24here. What?
- 21:25I've been listening to my audio books, yes, and I've been
- 21:28listening to my books. I think I've mentioned it before
- 21:32that it's just my little romance novels or whatever, and though,
- 21:35and it's about the the town that's full of like the witches
- 21:38and all this kind of stuff and they're and they're like.
- 21:40In. Carbondale outside of
- 21:42Carbondale, just like Carbondale, and nothing ever
- 21:44will prepare you to read that in any book.
- 21:48Because she had to have gone to. College had to.
- 21:50Had to because of them who references.
- 21:52Carl, no one's gonna put. In a novel.
- 21:55Novel down near Carbon No. No, OK, so that doesn't crack me
- 21:59up. Town is very cool, right?
- 22:01I gave you the I gave the recap a book for.
- 22:03So I I, I was like, everybody reads the.
- 22:05Books. And then she gives me a book
- 22:06report. I do and I I feel like I've read
- 22:08them because I know everything about them.
- 22:10But I love it. But I, I've, I was about an hour
- 22:14and a half left at book 4 and I was giving you the the update
- 22:16because there had been A twist that wasn't twist.
- 22:18And while we were on the phone, I went and googled because I was
- 22:21like, Oh well, I wonder how many more there are because there's a
- 22:23lot. A lot of loose.
- 22:25Ends. OK, there's a lot of loose ends
- 22:29going on and I go and look it up.
- 22:32There's only one more. Oh, so they got, They got to.
- 22:35Close that down and tell you 200 pages.
- 22:39Let me tell you something. The first one is called
- 22:42Payback's Witch. It was lovely. 2 girls got
- 22:44together. Pun titles, they're really.
- 22:46Cute payback's a bitch. Payback's a witch a.
- 22:49Witch, a witch, a witch and the. And the two lovely witches get
- 22:53together in the first one. Yes, the whole town's witches.
- 22:57OK, like man. Oh listen, I came for the little
- 23:01ROM comi kind of stuff. I stayed for the lore.
- 23:05The lore is great. It's I nothing could have ever
- 23:11prepared me for there to be like a lore and like world building
- 23:17and all this kind of stuff. OK, the full series is paybacks
- 23:20to which from bad to cursed back in the spell in charms way and
- 23:24the and the most recent one, the fifth one that came out last
- 23:26September, is rise and divine. Well, that's the last God damn
- 23:30once. And are you thinking
- 23:33everything's not going to be? Resolved.
- 23:35There's no going to be another one.
- 23:36It's about you're going to have to wait.
- 23:37There's there's like there's said, this is the final.
- 23:41There's like what, three different characters that are
- 23:45singled that I'm like, OK, obviously they need to have
- 23:47stories. And then I see the the main
- 23:49character of the fifth one. It's not any of those
- 23:52characters. And I was like, wait a minute.
- 23:55Well, what about what about Lyndon?
- 23:57What about Gareth? What happens to them?
- 24:00We'll never know. I mean, maybe we'll know.
- 24:03Maybe it's in Rising, but I don't know.
- 24:06I'm. I'm devastated.
- 24:08I'm devastated. I need more Carbondale witches.
- 24:11Where is the rest? Where's the rest day?
- 24:13At who? Doesn't need more Carbondale
- 24:15witches. But if you need a but if you
- 24:17need a gift idea for me, there's a nice five book box head.
- 24:23They're cute. They got.
- 24:24I already own the first one but I could donate it, sure.
- 24:28So you can have a box set. Yeah, but listen, the first one,
- 24:30like I said, 2 girls get together and in the 2nd and the
- 24:33third one, it's the straighties. And I read 2 straighties to get
- 24:39back to the to get back to the lesbians in book four and five,
- 24:43expecting there to be more. But there was good lore, so that
- 24:47made-up for it. What cause?
- 24:49What? Cause oh boy, I don't.
- 24:56Know I don't know what the cost is.
- 24:58Disappointment. Actually none, because you've
- 25:00checked them out from the library.
- 25:01Free also in good news, but at what cost?
- 25:04OK. What else is the good news?
- 25:07Taylor Swift bought back all her albums.
- 25:08We can listen to Reputation guilt free again.
- 25:11Hooray, I saw that I sent her a message as soon as I heard it.
- 25:14She now. How did you get Taylor Swift's
- 25:24number? This is what I want to know.
- 25:26I actually sent. Abby a message, but then I also
- 25:29did did did mess with a good friend a day and told her
- 25:32Congrats. I just love you though emoji
- 25:35I'm. Not going to name any names.
- 25:38I'm not going to name any names. Am I working or nothing like
- 25:40that? OK, OK, but.
- 25:42I welcome the name Hazel and Mabel.
- 25:46Hazel is what we refer to Chet GPS.
- 25:49Wait, I know, I know a little girl whose name is actually
- 25:53Hazel. Really.
- 25:54Absolutely. Well.
- 25:56Kindergarten class, East Peoria, IL.
- 26:03Social Security number on the line.
- 26:08She's only in the kindergarten. She doesn't have a big room 3.
- 26:16She doesn't have a Facebook page yet, but confirm do not look
- 26:22Hazel. Did we confirm that?
- 26:25Did we verify that? I did verify that OK her Mama is
- 26:30not letting. Her have a Facebook page.
- 26:33I am. I am.
- 26:34OK, listen, in degrees of Kevin Bacon, you recall?
- 26:37Yeah, I am only three degrees away from Kevin Bacon.
- 26:43No Taylor Swift. OK, Kevin.
- 26:45Bacon. OK.
- 26:48That could be the theater way. You're right.
- 26:50I just want to say that I'm making some, I made some moves
- 26:53and I am now only three moves away from Taylor Swift.
- 26:56All right, people, you don't have to.
- 26:58Speculate. All right, so we're waiting to
- 27:00hear that. Except for.
- 27:01Except for a handful of listeners who already know
- 27:04what's the. Next thing on your list.
- 27:05No. Well, hold on.
- 27:07Good news, but at what cost? Taylor Swift bought got our
- 27:10albums, Actually, she said. She's not.
- 27:14There is no reputation Taylor's version and it's not coming.
- 27:19That's why she put out like What You Made Me Do and with The
- 27:23Handmaid's Tale. I I don't you love that she did
- 27:26that. That's really cool.
- 27:27Love that she did that. Everyone's devastated, but you
- 27:31know what I say it's good news because you know what now she
- 27:33can do for that new music? Well, you want to hear some.
- 27:37No, I mean yes. Is it about Taylor Swift?
- 27:41Well, that's the podcast, folks. I don't know about you.
- 27:46No, I don't know. About you guys, it's.
- 27:51Short this week No she she has finished debut though she's
- 27:56already rerecorded, but she doesn't know when she's going to
- 27:58release it, which means that the our song Taylor's version.
- 28:01Exists in the world Unison I just look forward to new music
- 28:11it'll be. Fun.
- 28:12My girls love her so. All right, all right.
- 28:15Well, and it ties into the Taylor Southern Pride BBQ sauce.
- 28:18It sure does. Damn, tied it all back.
- 28:20Well, it's another connection. Another connection, another
- 28:23connection, and you know what would go on on goes good on
- 28:25bacon Taylor. Southern Pride.
- 28:29Thank you. Vindicated.
- 28:31You should have seen the look she gave me.
- 28:32Speaking of pride, Speaking of Pride, I got some things written
- 28:35down here. I got a little fun fact for you
- 28:38about pride. Did you know that originally
- 28:41they were trying to come up with like a slogan or saying back
- 28:43when, you know, they were kind of getting the pride movement
- 28:46going and they didn't know what they were going to call it,
- 28:48right? It wasn't called pride yet,
- 28:52obviously. And so the one guy suggested gay
- 28:56power. OK, OK, OK.
- 29:03And and another, another founder who I don't have his name right
- 29:06now because this is a very bad segment, had said, you know, not
- 29:10everybody has power, but everyone can have pride in
- 29:13themselves. And that's why it was changed to
- 29:14pride. But I think we should switch it
- 29:16back to gay power because it's the month of gay power, not
- 29:21pride, gay power. Why?
- 29:24Wouldn't. We why wouldn't we refer to as
- 29:26gay power? What's your Ashley?
- 29:30I'll I'll repeat it here for our listeners.
- 29:31What's your gay power? Gardening.
- 29:37Gardening. Gardening.
- 29:38She's a Poison Ivy. She is.
- 29:40Who is a gay icon? Poison Ivy's dating Harley
- 29:43Quinn. That's true.
- 29:45Exciting. Oh, I have, actually.
- 29:49Which? Look at me.
- 29:50I'm segmenting all over this place.
- 29:52Nope. Segway.
- 29:53Not segmenting. I'm segwaying.
- 29:55I'm segmented. Tell you about Pride month.
- 29:58OK. Yeah.
- 29:59No, I am. You hit me.
- 30:02Well, last year during Pride month, we did talk about the
- 30:05terrible Pride merchandise. We did that is out there.
- 30:09We did do a yes. Did we do it?
- 30:11We did a Zodiac yes. It ended up being.
- 30:14Hilarious around your your terrible pride work I heard
- 30:16about. The best Pride merchandise that
- 30:20I've ever seen in my life. Is this?
- 30:22Did I send you this? No.
- 30:23OK, I don't believe. So go ahead, go ahead.
- 30:25So I don't know if you've seen it, yes, but it's the target
- 30:29pride. U-Haul.
- 30:31U-Haul moving truck. With the lesbian flag, the.
- 30:34Two lesbian birds look at them. Yeah, show me.
- 30:38Here's our lesbian birds. That's awesome.
- 30:40Here's the point. Now I don't know if you
- 30:42understand that joke though. I do.
- 30:45We've been together for two months.
- 30:46Why haven't we moved in? Together yet?
- 30:48Yes yes yes they they the lesbian joke.
- 30:51Is that that way U-Haul? Now admittedly Ashley and I got
- 30:55engaged very quickly, so I won't, I can't say.
- 30:57I can't say that checks out. Now we then had a two year
- 30:59engagement, so there was at least some time there was time
- 31:01there, but we did get engaged, I mean maybe three months after we
- 31:05started dating. I supposed to pick this is
- 31:07hilarious. This is probably the best prime
- 31:10yes I've ever seen and I love it.
- 31:11It's hilarious. Now we were sitting at the we
- 31:14went to the went to dinner after the show today and we're sitting
- 31:18at the table and it's Sam and living mayor and your dad's
- 31:21sister. And we're sitting on the table
- 31:24and somehow we got to talk about.
- 31:25I don't know if we're talking about Pride month or what we
- 31:26were talking about. And we were recalling when Liv
- 31:32got some kind of message on some kind of device that you could
- 31:35also see it on your, OK, on your, I don't know if it was
- 31:38your iPod or what it was, you could see it.
- 31:41OK. Do you?
- 31:42Remember, it was his name was Dylan, and he sent her.
- 31:45I really really really really really really really really
- 31:47really. Really, really, really like you
- 31:49and I've been. Responded slow your old buddy.
- 31:52That's a lot of really I don't. Remember this at all?
- 31:55Mentally fine you. No, and lives in a room.
- 31:58And you were in your room. And also you just hear live
- 32:00doll. Have a lot of really later.
- 32:05We found out that he he was, he's gay and she's.
- 32:09Like so he was emphasizing light.
- 32:12Light. And so if I was gay and you guys
- 32:14cheered him up and you sang some kind of gay song, but I don't
- 32:16remember what it was. Sing some kind of gay song.
- 32:18Song it had to work gay and it was really funny, but then you
- 32:21made cheer up. But she was OK.
- 32:23So we're sitting, we're talking about this.
- 32:25And Linton. Says.
- 32:26Well. Was it Abby's prom date?
- 32:30Didn't he turn out to be gay? Yeah.
- 32:31And I said no, that was Abby, turns out.
- 32:36You're both gay. You're at base and then we all,
- 32:42you're all you fuckers. I tried not to expose it,
- 32:55Justin. I just had to expose myself.
- 33:00We were having dinner at some going to.
- 33:04Have to get a fucking refill. We have to drink my sorrows.
- 33:13We had to go. On last time, last show with us.
- 33:15For now, yeah. We will be without her next
- 33:18season. Where's my fucking spaghetti?
- 33:20Where's my where's my goddamn this round butter?
- 33:23That's what I have. Where's my pesto ranch?
- 33:27This is delicious. It was so delicious.
- 33:31Where's my spamoni? Oh, and that was even better.
- 33:36It was in the little Mel bowl. It don't make it actually any
- 33:39better, but I love what it crystallizes on.
- 33:42The edge. Where is it?
- 33:46Over. Over in Saint.
- 33:49Louis And you know what? That fucker Olivia, let me tell
- 33:52you something. Telling you something.
- 33:55Now you got me riled up. Now you got me riled up.
- 33:58That son of a bitch tagged along with us and when we went to the
- 34:03Scotty factory and ruined my chances of sitting.
- 34:06On the. Trolley, it's true.
- 34:08I've never sat on the trolley, I.
- 34:10Have sat me and Bear had the double.
- 34:12Date to be are gone. My double date I mean just US 2.
- 34:15I get that right. Personally sat in the trolley 3
- 34:18times. Oh my God, go down, I told you.

- 34:26were going to hockey game at the old Dome, the old Checker Dome
- 34:30and we sat in the trolley for the first time, which was my

- 34:36that I had was at this old spaghetti factory and the same
- 34:38friend comments. I can't believe you're there and
- 34:41not like getting authentic Italian on the hill.

- 35:31rest in peace, Gold. Is our waiter the dude?
- 35:33Well, it wasn't our waiter, but the dude who brought the food.

- 36:32Know what this was the. Story.
- 36:34The show was just. You.
- 36:35Well, the show actually has a little gay couple in it anyway,
- 36:39and it was just a fight it. Has a gay.

- 36:53See, I understand no. That was Abby.
- 36:55But I see. And then I realized.
- 36:57Oh yeah, you're right. Her senior one yes, they are
- 36:59both gay yes. So that that's what I.
- 37:01Had to do, but she got Lenny. Lenny was like, yes, wasn't

- 37:12doing fine. OK, I do have this game Scoopoo.
- 37:15OK, great. I got a Zodiac if we need it.
- 37:18Excellent. So I, I wrote down some some
- 37:20some gay icons people may not know about.
- 37:23Now, some of these are are people or characters that have
- 37:27been confirmed as gay and some of these are happy accidents.
- 37:31And now this is these are are gay icons and I so I don't know
- 37:36if you're aware, but I just I want to make the people aware.
- 37:39Are you aware that Velma from scooby-doo is gay?
- 37:42Confirmed. Yeah, confirmed.
- 37:44And the most recent animated show, she has a crush on a Yeah
- 37:48the girl and didn't. Know that Velma was gay.
- 37:52You just weren't paying attention.
- 37:53Just weren't. Paying attention, all the clues
- 37:55were. There, yes.
- 37:56So Yep, I would have to say, yeah, I knew that.
- 37:59One. OK.

- 38:22Yeah, OK. Can't stand her.
- 38:24Well, she came out. She came out as as not gay.
- 38:30That was her whole thing. Was it?
- 38:32Well, don't. Get.
- 38:33Me started. She came out and said turns out
- 38:36she's not actually gay. And then Jenna Coolidge comes
- 38:40out and says that she is gay and somebody said this was the best
- 38:43trade of the draft so far. That was.
- 38:46Pretty. Good one 100%.
- 38:52That's the. Draft so far, that's.
- 38:54Great. Oh my God, that's awesome.
- 38:58OK. I love that Paul Rubens.
- 39:01Paul Rubens in his post posthumously in his documentary
- 39:08about his life and whatnot, he came out that he was had been
- 39:11dating a man. He was, he was in the closet.
- 39:14He was dating a man who I believe passed away from the
- 39:17AIDS epidemic, but he was in the closet because so he could not
- 39:20openly say anything about it. So it was very sad, but I
- 39:25believe I could see that, Yeah. But yes.
- 39:27But yes, he yeah. That's so that makes me very
- 39:31sad. I'm not laughing because of Bob
- 39:34Roof, it's laughing because of my next one, The Babadook.
- 39:37Have you ever heard of this movie?
- 39:38What? And she's giggling.
- 39:42And she's just the Babadook. The Babadook.
- 39:45Was the Babadook. You never heard of it?
- 39:47I've heard of. It yeah, yeah, that's the add.
- 39:57Family dance there. No, that's.
- 40:06No, it's the Mamoose girls. I don't know Gomez has has
- 40:12Pugsley. Has to do or pass it into
- 40:18manhood. The Mamushka the.
- 40:29Dance of brotherly love. We have the knives.
- 40:36I had the consonant wrong. She said.
- 40:39The Mamushka, the Dance of Brotherly Love is a traditional
- 40:43dance performed by the Addams Family.
- 40:45It is danced when celebrating something grand.
- 40:47It was taught by the Cossacks in the Addams Family now.
- 40:50The babushka. It is a Russian old woman or
- 40:56grandfather. The Babadook scarf, yes, that's
- 41:03why I would never have a little scarf on.
- 41:04Like my little babushka Russian. Not a dance with knives, okay?
- 41:12Okay, it's cleaning my clothes and she found a scarf.
- 41:16I can't the clothes she was sitting my.
- 41:18Dad, I said hello. OK, now, Baba Duke the Babadook.
- 41:26The Babadook. Is a 2014 horror movie OK,
- 41:30that's why about about I don't watch about loss and grief and
- 41:34it's actually hails like a very good horror movie, but in 26
- 41:37now. Hold on now, hold on.
- 41:38I got to tell you the story Now in 2016.
- 41:41Oh, from the Babadook. Now, in 2016, Netflix
- 41:45accidentally added The Babadook. Towards.
- 41:48To its. To its Pride collection.
- 41:52And so ever. Since they accidentally added
- 42:00the Boba Gus to their pride collection, The Boba Gus on
- 42:04Netflix. Burns.
- 42:05So it was an. Accident, but ever since the
- 42:08bottleneck has been a gang. I thought, yes, she was.
- 42:11In the note. What the?
- 42:15Hell can't be accident. Now we know that's hilarious.
- 42:20Oh man, Oh my God. That's great.
- 42:24We went for a Babadook to Babadook and he's.
- 42:29Gay Oh man, man, oh man, now that's that's what I had written
- 42:34down. There are other there are other
- 42:36ones some people say in the Rugrats.
- 42:40Do you recall the twins, Phil and yes, Phil and Lil their mom,
- 42:43people say was AI can see that a gay eye Cocker.
- 42:46She was had the little the feminism on.
- 42:49Now she had a husband on the show.
- 42:52I don't believe it for one. Second, he was her beer.
- 42:55Some other some other gay icons, people had said as I Scroll
- 43:03down. The green M&M, sure.
- 43:06Or that one OK, is a gay icon. Pedro Pascal.
- 43:09Pedro Pascal, You think he's gay?
- 43:12I gay or bi? I believe, actually.
- 43:14I mean, I don't care. I can see it.
- 43:16No some. Of these, he plays a family
- 43:18role. Way too well, he's he's very
- 43:20he's Yeah. Now, now all these are
- 43:22confirmed. OK there.
- 43:23But they're gay icons, for example, Mr. Clean, Legit.
- 43:27OK, Icon, Mr. Earring. But my earring is on the left.
- 43:30Side Yeah, yes, that is a whole big thing.
- 43:34Confirmed. Confirmed.
- 43:36Some people say Whoopi Goldberg is a gay icon.
- 43:38That's fashioned, isn't it? I thought she you know I can't.
- 43:41Say I can't say for. Sure, OK, like Juan Sykes,
- 43:43she's. She's right.
- 43:45Yeah, definitely. She's awesome.
- 43:47Our girl Cher, she's a huge supporter.
- 43:49Gay Cher Cher Dolly Parton girl Jay icon Cher.
- 43:55It's yeah, it's Tran, and we love our girl Cher.
- 43:59Dolly Parton, famously straight, but she, she is a well known gay
- 44:06icon. You know, of course, Lady Gaga.
- 44:11Yes, gay icon. Oh, you ever remember your other
- 44:14show Recess? This is Spinelli.
- 44:17Spinelli. I can see that.
- 44:18Yep, absolutely for sure. Now this one says Peppa Pig.
- 44:21Peppa Pig, but that didn't make the list.
- 44:25Peppa's too young to even know what's going.
- 44:27On BuzzFeed, I don't know, the pink Power Ranger.
- 44:30Oh, Cate Blanchett tracks tracks Ursula classic gay icon.
- 44:37All right, so you get the idea. Oh, Miss Frizzle.
- 44:40Miss Frizzle. Got it.
- 44:42Miss Frizzle. So yeah, these are the I'll get
- 44:44it. So they.
- 44:46Might just be a supporter. But Rice, it's a gay icon.
- 44:50They may not be gay. Carmen San Diego, him the Devil
- 44:55for Powerpuff Girls. Yeah, icon and gay.
- 44:59Yes, Xena, warrior Princess. OK.
- 45:02She would make a great icon for sure.
- 45:04Who and love Xena. I love her.
- 45:06So that's I will call it there. We'll call it there for sure.
- 45:10OK woman from Batman Returns. For sure.
- 45:13So. So that's what I got.
- 45:16Give me what? You're skinny scoop poop.
- 45:17That's hilarious. OK, this is kind of a follow up
- 45:20from a previous episode last fall.
- 45:23OK. And I thought that last fall.
- 45:25Legit. We did an episode about, we did
- 45:29several episodes about cryptids. OK, right.
- 45:32And so the Blackness monster camera, they, they, they
- 45:37discovered a camera that was set up 55 years ago.
- 45:40What? OK, they, this camera.
- 45:45So the Oceanography Center, the United Kingdom's National
- 45:50Oceanography Center was testing a sub like a little unmanned
- 45:55type of the remote control that was was down in the lock, OK.
- 46:01And it uncovered an underwater camera that was set up 55 years
- 46:05ago in the hopes of capture capturing a picture.
- 46:08Well. Nessie, Nessie Fast.
- 46:11Forward, Fast forward your story.
- 46:13OK. And and the the sub that it was
- 46:19testing was the unmanned Boney Mcbone.
- 46:22Face OH. Boney Mcbone, what a connection.
- 46:25Fantastic. The sub that was named in the
- 46:27I'm. Gonna go ahead and I'm gonna go
- 46:30Nate, go ahead and put Boney Mcbone face on the on the list
- 46:34of gay icons. Legit, I get to do that.
- 46:35I have that out the June 1st. We don't have a picture.
- 46:38Of Nessie. But it did.
- 46:39Capture a picture of Boney Mcbone there there so.
- 46:45That the camera's been down there in this basement for like
- 46:4955 years, but. The IT has to have a flash.
- 46:51Right, because this is how old these cameras are.
- 46:52Yeah, and it was still working. Oh my.
- 46:56And somehow it's still dry. Wow, they were kind of amazed
- 47:00that they found. That is, that is amazing.
- 47:03So that camera's been like for 55 years, hasn't taken a
- 47:05picture, no see. No, but it got.
- 47:07I tell you what, that's not evidence.
- 47:09I don't know. What?
- 47:10But I call it pony. Repo face here here.
- 47:12I mean, that's, that's a good, that's a good news, bad news.
- 47:15I. Thought that was really it's.
- 47:16Good, good news. The camera lasted that long.
- 47:18Bad news. No, Nessie.
- 47:20Well. Yeah.
- 47:21I've got I've got a Zodiac. If you're ready, let's do it.
- 47:24OK, This Zodiac is what is your pride anthem based on your
- 47:30Zodiac size or? That's a good.
- 47:33Yes, yes, yes, with it. OK, Aries, Aries, you are Diana
- 47:39Ross's. I'm coming out.
- 47:41Awesome, excellent, excellent. When Diana Ross released herself
- 47:46titled album Diana in 1980, little did she know that the
- 47:49second track would eventually become one of the most iconic
- 47:51LGBTQ plus anthems in history. I'm Coming Out is an Aries song
- 47:57through and through, as the core of the song is about breaking
- 48:00free from your fear of being seen as your true self.
- 48:02Coming out about 1's gender or sexuality can be terrifying
- 48:06prospect, but Aries wants you to own your identity so the people
- 48:10who will appreciate you can actually find you awesome. 9
- 48:12That's a great song. Who didn't love that?
- 48:14Song. Yeah.
- 48:15Taurus, you are Shaka Khans. I'm every woman.
- 48:19I love that, love that. Song Why is it in mine?
- 48:21Taurus got really lucky. That's going.
- 48:25That's a good one. Okay, keep going.
- 48:27Shaka cuts here with us. Well, yeah, he just said.
- 48:30That the same thing. Oh no, leave her.
- 48:31Wait, we were. Singing a song we're sitting.
- 48:33In the table, Sam and Liver sitting at the kitchen with us.
- 48:36We start singing a song Went by the Road, By the Road and Mary
- 48:39Samuel. It's like they're.
- 48:41In the room with us and we're like, you bitches, that's so
- 48:44funny you you went so. Hard.
- 48:48I went nice. OK, right, Check a con.
- 48:50Nice. That's from Phase and Ferg.
- 48:52Phase and Ferg's getting a revival season 5.
- 48:58No, I know. I I know who they are.
- 49:00I haven't watched a single. Show.
- 49:01Oh my God I hate getting that same episode with Chaka Khan.
- 49:05What? A line up.
- 49:06All right, Torres, sorry. Whether you're singing along to
- 49:09the original song by Chaka Khan or the cover by Whitney Houston,
- 49:13you can. Yeah.
- 49:13You can't help but feel empowered by your femininity and
- 49:17overwhelmed by your love for other fans.
- 49:19Since Chaka Khan released I'm Every Woman as her debut solo
- 49:22single in 1978, she spoke to every queer person and woman,
- 49:25trans or otherwise, who deserves to love them themselves and feel
- 49:28confident in a patriarchal world.
- 49:30Taurus is ruled by Venus, goddess of beauty and love,
- 49:33making this a Tauran message to its core.
- 49:35Excellent. Excellent, love it.
- 49:38Who's next Gemini you are Sam Smith and Kim Petrus unholy
- 49:43excellent song On the surface, it's not hard to see why unholy
- 49:46would be the LGBTQ plus anthem for chatty and sassy Gemini this
- 49:50song that's. True.
- 49:52This song not only boomed on TikTok, but it's a duet between
- 49:55Sam Smith and Kim Petrus, Gemini's Zodiac sign of the
- 49:58twins, which is exemplified by having two separate perspectives
- 50:01within the song. Plus, the boundary pushing
- 50:04lyrics are all about being the side piece for a wealthy married
- 50:07man who hides his true sexuality from his wife.
- 50:10Gemini is always willing to entertain your double life and
- 50:13will never judge you for whatever you choose to keep hush
- 50:15hush. However, that doesn't mean they
- 50:17won't call your ass out and write a song about it.
- 50:22Yeah, really? He's been trans.
- 50:24Yeah, Petrus is the first ugly transgender artist to receive a
- 50:26Grammy. Award Wow.
- 50:27Good for her, good for her. Fantastic.
- 50:31All right cancer. You are Christina Aguilera's
- 50:34beautiful Christina Aguilera's monumental tearjerker beautiful
- 50:38resonates with any cancer. It's a beautiful song.
- 50:40These big hearted souls find something to love in everyone,
- 50:43knowing that we are all wonderful, worthy and necessary
- 50:45girls of how harshly others may judge us and project project
- 50:48their own fear onto US. The music video included a gay
- 50:51couple and a transgender person when it was released in 2002,
- 50:55resulting in in a GLAD Media Award.
- 50:58I don't know what GLAD GLAAD stands for, but you know.
- 51:02Plus, who could forget the that iconic scene from Mean Girls in
- 51:05which 2 gay to function Damien aggressively sings this song and
- 51:09the talent show It's true. Oh man, do you have a GLAAD
- 51:16thing? I'm.
- 51:17Looking I'm so Sorry I'm slow. Bad Media Award is awards that
- 51:23recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and
- 51:27inclusive representations of the lesbian.
- 51:29Gay bisecto transit. Good for them.
- 51:32Nice, awesome does. It affect their lives.
- 51:33All right, OK, cool. Leo you are Madonna's Vogue.
- 51:36Oh glorious Leo is. Leo is ruled by the vibrant and
- 51:42dazzling Sun, prizing confidence, creativity and
- 51:44self-expression. Leo shines with the same sparkle
- 51:48and warmth, which is why they want to be seen in all their
- 51:51glory. In Madonna's Seminole Vogue
- 51:531990, she speaks to every member of the LGBTQ plus community and
- 51:57commands them to cure the Blues by getting up and dancing.
- 52:00Yes, after all, the dance floor represents total freedom and
- 52:03liberation. And let's be real, Madonna,
- 52:04allegedly ally to the queer community, is also the biggest
- 52:07Leo whoever has who has ever lived.
- 52:09Nice. OK.
- 52:12Virgo, you are her boy. Kylie Minogue's Padam padam How
- 52:17to pronounce padam padam If you've been to gay clubs
- 52:28recently, I. Look to you.
- 52:31I look to you because I would probably be the one who would.
- 52:35Be most likely to go. Unfortunately, we.
- 52:37Have no where we are. So none of that I'm against.
- 52:40I'm there. You're going.
- 52:42We've been to drag shows. It's true and they're a hoot and
- 52:46they're pancake clubs. Play the best music.
- 52:48I have no battle. So if you.
- 52:49Find one, I'll be there if If you've been to gay clubs
- 52:53recently, you've probably heard Kylie Minogue's latest single,
- 52:55Padam Padam, which has which always gets the dance floor
- 52:59feeling hot, heavy and coquettish.
- 53:02You don't know this long I'm. Gonna.
- 53:03I don't know you. I don't know.
- 53:05You feel coquettish it. Captures the way a mercurize it
- 53:10captures the way a Mercury ruled.
- 53:12Virgo's attraction is subtle and analytical, but incredibly
- 53:14intense. Behind their sheer Nope.
- 53:19Behind their shy veneer. Am I saying that veneer shine
- 53:27in? Here, shine in here.
- 53:29No, it's it's behind there. Sheer than not OK.
- 53:33Go ahead, shine in here. We get it.
- 53:35I'm. Sorry, Pedantadon gives comments
- 53:38to every Virgo with a crush who may be overthinking every move
- 53:41and paying too much attention to their quickening heart rate.
- 53:44He's laughing. Libra your Lil Nas ex Montero
- 53:51Call Me by Your name This sexy song may get you moving at the
- 53:55club, but it's. It's hopelessly sentimental at
- 53:58its heart, which is so. Libra This song was inspired by
- 54:01the romantic drama film Call Me by your Name, one of the first
- 54:04gay films Lonos X had ever seen. In this LGBTQ plus anthem, he
- 54:08recalls his own challenging experience of loving a man who
- 54:11is not out yet. However, he still sees the
- 54:14beauty of quote Keeping the love between you 2, which is light
- 54:18hearted in the Libra way. After all, Libra is associated
- 54:21with a love for one-on-one of relationships, even if it only
- 54:24exists in private. I haven't.
- 54:26Heard of this own experience. I haven't heard about this
- 54:29movie. There is a very famous K pop
- 54:33artist that we love, love, love love who loves this movie and
- 54:38and has and the theory is that his solo album that he is less
- 54:45solo album was kind of based around this.
- 54:47And there's a whole whole bunch of clues in it.
- 54:50Who's the artist? That would be V.
- 54:54My boy V your. Boy VI love.
- 54:56Him I saw I saw an artist on this.
- 54:58Beautiful voice. Beautiful.
- 54:59Voice Anyway, yeah, so I've heard.
- 55:01I've heard of this movie I have not watched.
- 55:03It I've never done. I have never seen it.
- 55:04Yeah, OK. Well.
- 55:05I've. Never heard that song, I'll get
- 55:07that one to listen to. I've never heard the song.
- 55:08That's from his personal experience of it just.
- 55:10Gets that? Yeah, it touched the genre, OK.
- 55:12Here we go. All right Scorpio, you are
- 55:14Bronsky Beat Small Town Boy Scorpio's the Zodiac sign of
- 55:18transformation, of blowing up your life and rebuilding a new
- 55:21one from the rubble. Coming out in in an environment
- 55:24that is unaccepting LGBTQ plus culture can mean leaving behind
- 55:28your entire life and starting over through melancholy
- 55:31electronic beats that make you want to dance and cry at the
- 55:33same time. Small Town Boy by Bronski Beat
- 55:371984 tells the story of a young man who has been disowned by his
- 55:40family for being gay. However, he still has faith that
- 55:42he will find the love he needs somewhere else, rising from the
- 55:45ashes like a phoenix. That hurts my heart to hear
- 55:52stories about that like that. Sagittarius, you are Indigo
- 55:58Girls closer to fine I. Know they die, girls, I believe,
- 56:03I know that. But we certainly are we.
- 56:07Are closer to fine. Yeah, we.
- 56:10Are fine. So let's say even slevy below.
- 56:17And we encourage her by laughing.
- 56:20Sagittarius Sagittarius is the Zodiac sign of adventure,
- 56:23philosophy, and the hunger for new experiences that that this
- 56:27fire sign is no stranger to. Not only is closer defined by
- 56:30Indigo Girls 1989 the perfect sing along for long car rides,
- 56:34but it also happens to be the be the be all end all of lesbian
- 56:38anthems. Oh man, Emily Saliers.
- 56:42Saliers. I don't know.
- 56:45And Amy Ray's folksy and sentimental acoustic tune was
- 56:48featured in the unforgettable road trip episode of The L Word,
- 56:51which is a lesbian show. You're not aware, OK, where it
- 56:54has woven itself into the LGBTQ plus tapestry till the end of
- 56:58time. So.
- 57:02Capricorn, that's me, ladies. That's excellent.
- 57:04We are Ru Paul's supermodel. That's.
- 57:07Fantastic, fantastic. If there's one thing every
- 57:11Capricorn can agree on, it's that success requires discipline
- 57:14and consistency, which is why you'll never see one settling
- 57:17for anything less than being America's Next Drag Superstar.
- 57:19Ruth. Ruth Paul's Supermodel 1992 is a
- 57:26call for precision and excellence, motivating and
- 57:29empowering you to get up and sashay Shantae.
- 57:31This song has brought Drag Race to life, tapping into the
- 57:35brilliance and creativity that the LGBTQ plus community never
- 57:38fails to bring to the table. Love it.
- 57:42Aquarius, you are Lady Gagas born this.
- 57:44One excellent. That's great.
- 57:47If any Zodiac sign prides itself on being authentic and true to
- 57:50oneself, it's Aquarius. This innovative and independent
- 57:54air sign is terrified of being normal and conforming, which is
- 57:57why Lady Gaga's BOP, Born This Way 2011, is aquarium through
- 58:02and through. This is the same woman who, when
- 58:04asked whether she she quote, had a penis, said maybe I do.
- 58:08Would it be so terrible? Right.
- 58:11This quickly, Liv asked me of the day.
- 58:14Why Aquarius is an air sign And I'm like, beats me because it
- 58:20seems like that would be in wars, right?
- 58:23But what do you? What do you know?
- 58:24Blame the Greeks. What are you gonna do there?
- 58:26You. Go Pisces.
- 58:27Pisces, you are Fred again And and the blessed Madonna Maria
- 58:32we've lost dancing. Oh, I've never heard, and
- 58:35neither have I. The dance floor is a sacred
- 58:37place to LGBTQ plus community, as the clubs are where they have
- 58:40always been able to congregate, release the stress of daily
- 58:43life, and let down their guard. And when the clubs were shut
- 58:46down during the COVID-19 pandemic, it hit the LGBTQ plus
- 58:49community both financially and emotionally.
- 58:52Pisces is the last sign in the Zodiac, which is why it's often
- 58:55associated with endings and loss.
- 58:57Pisces has deep, unwavering empathy, as well as a desire to
- 59:01transmute their emotions through creativity, capturing the vibe
- 59:04of Fred again in the Blessed Madonna's Deep house Deep dive,
- 59:09deep house, deep dive Maria, we've Lost.
- 59:12Dancing reminds us to remember all that we've lost, but not
- 59:16without pointing us toward hope for a better future.
- 59:20That's your Zodiac. That's awesome.
- 59:23I was going to tell you that during the show today in During
- 59:29and Juliet, there is a part where Juliet's gay best friend,
- 59:35his name is May May. OK.
- 59:37And this this is a. Jukebox music.
- 59:39Also it is there's no original songs.
- 59:42They they pull songs that are already out there and most of it
- 59:46was from the 90s early 2000s. They did pull a Bon Jovi in from
- 59:50maybe like 80s which is awesome. It was all excellent because
- 59:53it's all mostly just total bops that you already.
- 59:56Know yeah, a lot of Britney. Spears and we're singing along.
- 59:59Yeah, it's, it's so great. But there's one part that that
- 1:00:03was a little bit heartbreaking and May, like I said, the gay
- 1:00:06best friend is sings this. He sings a Britney Spears song,
- 1:00:12but the way it's arranged is makes it like heartbreaking.
- 1:00:17Because. He sings.
- 1:00:18I'm not a girl. I'm not, I'm not.
- 1:00:20I'm not a girl. I'm not yet a woman.

- 1:04:44I've been wanting to ask you this.
- 1:04:45This is this is a deep, deep question.
- 1:04:47If you could do a death scene, what would you do?
- 1:04:51How would you play your death scene?
- 1:04:53Oh my. Dramatically.
- 1:04:54Well, you're supposed to play. OK, wait, wait, would you pick?
- 1:04:58The implement of your destruction.
- 1:05:00Like that's what I'm wondering you.
- 1:05:02Get to play our. Well, I'll tell you.
- 1:05:04However it is, however it is, I'm gonna die.
- 1:05:06It's probably, it's gotta be. It's in a show now.
- 1:05:08I don't wanna die like this in real life.
- 1:05:10OK. OK.
- 1:05:10Yeah, it's ATV. Show but OK, I think I get
- 1:05:12stabbed. We'll say ATV Show I get stabbed
- 1:05:14once and it's a fatal. Wound OK.
- 1:05:17The knife is in me. We don't only want one stabbing.
- 1:05:19I agree. I don't want like one stab.
- 1:05:21It's a fatal wound. Yes, but it takes me a while.
- 1:05:23OK, so every to the so the whatever the movie, the show,
- 1:05:27whatever. You keep thinking I've died, but
- 1:05:32you haven't, and it's froze. But this and another thing.
- 1:05:39Take care of tons for me. And she tries to die.
- 1:05:43It's such a slow bleed out. Yes.
- 1:05:45Like it's like you see like a kalasa at the counter and then
- 1:05:49you see a hand shoot up like. Killers just staying there
- 1:05:52waiting like you gotta fucking die or not.
- 1:05:54Yes, you know, some people do the the, the slow lean over and
- 1:05:59no, I think some people do just like the the, the quiet last
- 1:06:04breath out. They're gone.
- 1:06:07You know, some people. I have to think about this a
- 1:06:09lot. I, I want, I want the scene from
- 1:06:12Columbo, the actress that she's getting older and.
- 1:06:17Columbo doesn't really narrow it down.
- 1:06:19It's murder. It's a murder, OK, because.
- 1:06:22It's a lumbo. Columbo, OK and and we know in
- 1:06:27Columbo we always know. Who does it?
- 1:06:29It's an actress and she dies beautifully in her bed, in her
- 1:06:34sleep, and she's supposedly in her sleep, beautifully quaffed.
- 1:06:41Won't like out. Maybe in her bed.
- 1:06:43She's done up to the nine. Yeah.
- 1:06:44In her bed. In bed.
- 1:06:46No. Bed.
- 1:06:47No. Absolutely no bed.
- 1:06:49Maybe. Maybe.
- 1:06:51Maybe. Death by Bunny.
- 1:06:53Monty Python. No.
- 1:06:54That seems terrible. But I got to tell you, if I'm
- 1:06:57going to show and I'm going to have a death scene, my death
- 1:07:00isn't going to be like, get the. Fuck off, me motherfucker, to go
- 1:07:05see me fighting for the death. Arms are going to be flailing.
- 1:07:08Get away and get away. Get off, get off.
- 1:07:11I'm kicking people in the balls. You know it.
- 1:07:13Fight. You're making sure you have DNA
- 1:07:15under your fingernails. I'm scratching.
- 1:07:16I'm not going out without a fight.
- 1:07:18You want you want some defensive worms legit.
- 1:07:22Now let me tell you something. Or you want the attacker.
- 1:07:25There's going to be no slow. Slow.
- 1:07:27Death. Mine's going to be funny.
- 1:07:29It's going to be like, if I was getting shot, I would get shot,
- 1:07:31you know? Every time.
- 1:07:34Every time. Dramatically flames your body in
- 1:07:37the opposite train. Yes.
- 1:07:38It's a bully would take. Her I've shot the back, I get
- 1:07:44shot the. Now I will tell you I just
- 1:07:48looked up a quick funny death in history just.
- 1:07:50And it's on a funny. Achilles, I had to look this up.
- 1:07:54AESCHYLUS. OK, Greek.

- 1:08:09She's heard this one. Oh, Christopus, a philosopher,
- 1:08:13is said to have died from laughter after seeing a donkey
- 1:08:15eat figs. I think he'd definitely never
- 1:08:17seen a killer's diet with. The end of the dirt.
- 1:08:21There's some kind of moral around.
- 1:08:23That and getting hit in the head of a tortoise.
- 1:08:27Yeah. I guess.

- 1:09:19to sweep, swoop down, and then eat the turtle.
- 1:09:21Because I wonder if the turtle. Broke open, I bet.
- 1:09:23Well, I'll tell you what Broke's open.
