Greenlite Holdings CEO Jonathan Lewis on Buying Distressed Apartments in Oklahoma
Jonathan Lewis started flipping distressed houses in Phoenix in 2008, in the middle of the financial crisis. Seventeen years later he's the founder and CEO of Greenlite Holdings, a value-add multifamily company that buys dated, underperforming apartment communities in markets like Oklahoma City and Tulsa, redevelops them, and refinances instead of selling. For most of that time Greenlite invested only its own money. Now, through a Regulation A offering, everyday investors can own shares in the company itself.
