- 0:32Speaker 4: And I want you to know while you were gone,
- 0:35Speaker 4: I never one time used the other word that you
- 0:37Speaker 4: don't like, No, not at all.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I wasn't there to endure it exactly.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Why exactly why would he do it if you weren't
- 0:44Speaker 1: able to hear it exactly?
- 0:45Speaker 4: We got to get into your to your trips, see
- 0:48Speaker 4: how it went. You do sound still a little bit
- 0:50Speaker 4: under the weather?
- 0:51Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 0:51Speaker 2: I think I got one of those cruise coughs or
- 0:53Speaker 2: whatever they are.
- 0:54Speaker 1: But it's not.
- 0:55Speaker 4: But let's make it bit, let's make it very clear.
- 0:57Speaker 4: It is not the well, how do you pronounce it?
- 0:59Speaker 4: The haunted virus?
- 1:00Speaker 3: The I don't know want to handa vana virus, whatever
- 1:04Speaker 3: it is, I don't have that.
- 1:06Speaker 1: You weren't on that ship.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I was on a different ship.
- 1:09Speaker 4: It's so funny anytime you're on a cruise, it's like
- 1:11Speaker 4: it's just I'm sure we've all had this. When you're
- 1:14Speaker 4: in Florida and there's like a storm and it's in Florida,
- 1:17Speaker 4: it could be in Miami. Somebody who doesn't really understand
- 1:20Speaker 4: will call you and go, hey, are you guys okay
- 1:22Speaker 4: with that hurricane? The hurricane's four hundred miles from here, right,
- 1:25Speaker 4: Oh okay, I'll just calling to check on you. It's like,
- 1:27Speaker 4: I know they'd be a nice but it's like it's
- 1:29Speaker 4: the same thing with the cruise. All of Megan's families
- 1:31Speaker 4: felt like she had She was on this cruise that
- 1:34Speaker 4: was halfway around the world. But when one here, you're
- 1:37Speaker 4: on a cruise and that cruise up and you got it, the.
- 1:39Speaker 1: First thing they can think of that ain't the one
- 1:41Speaker 1: with a hand of virus, is it? No?
- 1:43Speaker 3: I know they thought I was I don't know, trapped
- 1:45Speaker 3: in a boat, wouldn't be allowed to get off.
- 1:47Speaker 2: There's rats on this thing, like, well, that's what you
- 1:51Speaker 2: get when you go on a cruise.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Meg, I'm like, no option is not that dangerous on
- 1:55Speaker 3: a cruise, Like, it's fine.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Stop.
- 1:58Speaker 1: We got a big day today.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I don't forget all weekend long here at Country ninety
- 2:02Speaker 4: nine to one at wq IK or tanks to win
- 2:04Speaker 4: tickets to see Morgan Wallen one week from tonight in
- 2:08Speaker 4: Gainesville at the Swamp.
- 2:09Speaker 1: We'll have your chance all weekend long. And is a
- 2:11Speaker 1: winning weekend here on the radio station.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Let's get into Megan's three things you need to Know
- 2:15Speaker 4: to your Jacksonville Friday.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Gets your weekend off to a good start.
- 2:18Speaker 3: What's going on, Well, the Buckman Bridge construction is changing
- 2:22Speaker 3: a little bit. They're going to limit lane closures to
- 2:25Speaker 3: try to get done some of this work on the weekends,
- 2:28Speaker 3: hopefully to help the daily headache that commuters have faced
- 2:32Speaker 3: while this construction has been going on for what seems
- 2:34Speaker 3: like a really long time. The construction has been going
- 2:37Speaker 3: on longer than I have lived in town. Let's just
- 2:39Speaker 3: get it that way.
- 2:39Speaker 1: They've been doing it every weekend for a long time,
- 2:42Speaker 1: and they're going to do it till probably toward late summer.
- 2:45Speaker 1: They're saying they're finally going to wrap it up. But
- 2:46Speaker 1: once again this weekend. It's the same old song and dance,
- 2:49Speaker 1: and it's which southbound southbound is when we're having our issues,
- 2:53Speaker 1: that's when they're closing the two lane southbound again. So
- 2:55Speaker 1: that's what we got started tonight ten o'clock.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Jacksonville High schools are changing their school hours next year.
- 3:02Speaker 3: They're adding about a half an hour to the school day,
- 3:04Speaker 3: starting with five minutes earlier ending twenty minutes later, and
- 3:08Speaker 3: this is designed to give teachers more planning time so
- 3:11Speaker 3: they're not just rushing around. Hey, look, if the teachers
- 3:15Speaker 3: are happy, I'm happy to support them.
- 3:17Speaker 1: That's right.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Lafayette County wildfire has popped up and it is burning
- 3:23Speaker 3: fourteen hundred acres. And when I came in this morning, John,
- 3:27Speaker 3: you you were like, do you see the smoke?
- 3:29Speaker 2: And I'm like, whoa, yeah, it is smoky.
- 3:32Speaker 3: So sitting all of our thoughts in prayers over to
- 3:34Speaker 3: our friends in Lafayette County, John, where is that at exactly?
- 3:38Speaker 1: Look in southwest of Livevolk. It didn't like it didn't
- 3:41Speaker 1: like a neighboring county. It's a little further over. It's
- 3:44Speaker 1: on the other side of seventy five, I think, but
- 3:46Speaker 1: it's the wind is blowing perfectly where we are getting it.
- 3:49Speaker 1: So Jacksonville, it's going to be smoky in Jacksonville. Most
- 3:53Speaker 1: of the city is going to be smelling the smoke.
- 3:54Speaker 1: With Kenny Well, Kenny Chesney, that's his new and that's
- 3:57Speaker 1: iHeart Country World premiere of Carry On from Kenny with
- 4:00Speaker 1: Country ninety nine one WQYK with the big show in
- 4:02Speaker 1: Meghan's Music City mid morning. It's froggy, John and Meghan
- 4:06Speaker 1: a smoky Friday for this area. So take precautions if
- 4:09Speaker 1: you have lung yours. I'm smelling it in our building,
- 4:12Speaker 1: right yeah, since I know, yeah, this is something, so
- 4:15Speaker 1: take precautions if you have to hope you're doing.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Well, all right, John, So all the fan bases, Meghan
- 4:21Speaker 4: fan bases of artists, they always have names like, for example, John,
- 4:24Speaker 4: do you know what they get what Barry Manilow call
- 4:26Speaker 4: themselves what Barry Manilo fans?
- 4:29Speaker 1: They're the Fano loos. I never knew that, okay, and
- 4:33Speaker 1: I'm pretty proud I don't. Justin Bieber. They're the believers, Yes,
- 4:37Speaker 1: the believers like the Eric Church has the church.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Choir, correct, Okay, Lady Gaga's got the little monsters, okay,
- 4:45Speaker 4: Jimmy Buffets are parentheads, parroentheads. Taylor Swift, of course are
- 4:49Speaker 4: the the Swift swiskey. Yeah, okay, So so you know
- 4:53Speaker 4: the names. Did you know that Ella Langley has a
- 4:55Speaker 4: fan group? Is it guys that are Ella Langley fans?
- 4:59Speaker 4: A called you ready for this? Foras like? I love it?
- 5:06Speaker 4: I love that. I'd be an Ella's fella. He cares
- 5:09Speaker 4: even merch.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I bet.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I think the number of men who are not l
- 5:13Speaker 2: fellas would would be like very very very minuscular fit
- 5:18Speaker 2: in this room, wouldn't they.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:20Speaker 4: No, So you can be You can be a believer.
- 5:23Speaker 4: You could be a parent head, you could be a
- 5:25Speaker 4: little monster, a church choir or now an el fella.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I'm an elfella, Thank.
- 5:30Speaker 1: You, I'm an Ala. We could have a jingle too,
- 5:35Speaker 1: and you like to be an lfella too? Fine?
- 5:38Speaker 4: What's going on in Nashville? Magazinusic city minute? What's going
- 5:41Speaker 4: on in Nashville? Can Megan get this out? Because she's
- 5:44Speaker 4: been poor things she is I'm trying. She's been in
- 5:48Speaker 4: the corner the first part of that, the conversation, she
- 5:50Speaker 4: was in the corner trying not to cough too loudly.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Well, I think I can get this out for a
- 5:54Speaker 2: good story. Morgan Wallen.
- 5:56Speaker 3: He gave the VIP experience to a young fan who.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Is terminally ill.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Unfortunately, this fan passed away, but Morgan stepped back in,
- 6:05Speaker 3: helped the mom, paid for the funeral, supported the fans
- 6:08Speaker 3: family along the way, and he did not put this
- 6:12Speaker 3: out into the public. The mother actually did. So Morgan
- 6:14Speaker 3: Wallin's doing a lot of good.
- 6:15Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 6:17Speaker 2: It is really cool.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Luke Combs has broken the stadium attendance record in Knoxville, Tennessee.
- 6:23Speaker 3: I know we've got some country artists that are probably
- 6:26Speaker 3: pretty salty about that.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Hey, Morgan and Kenny Chesney, some guys who are also
- 6:30Speaker 1: from East Tennessee.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Yes, So now Luke Combs is the record holder.
- 6:36Speaker 1: North Carolina guy comes carpetbagging into Nyland Stadium and rings
- 6:40Speaker 1: the record.
- 6:40Speaker 2: I just know they're mad about it.
- 6:42Speaker 3: There's a new album coming out today Ashley McBride. It's
- 6:47Speaker 3: called Wild, and I'm just excited to see her blossom.
- 6:50Speaker 3: You know, she's gone through her journey with sobriety, she's
- 6:53Speaker 3: released her own alcohol free like spirit, and she just
- 6:58Speaker 3: seems like she's really stepping into her so I'm glad
- 7:00Speaker 3: to see that, and I love her.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I'm Meghan. That's your music City minute, and Megan.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Did it without coffin. I don't blowing the smoke in
- 7:06Speaker 1: towards us today. It's a smoky start with the big show.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It's Frankie John and Meghan and Country ninety nine one
- 7:11Speaker 1: WQIK good. A busy weekend going on around.
- 7:15Speaker 4: I know Rockville is technically not here in Jacksonville, used
- 7:17Speaker 4: to be used to be at Metropolitan Park for the years,
- 7:20Speaker 4: technically not here in jackson Still in our area. Lots
- 7:22Speaker 4: of people going to Rockville, so lots of stuff going
- 7:25Speaker 4: on this weekend and what looks looks like it's gonna
- 7:28Speaker 4: be decent once again. I know we could use some rain,
- 7:32Speaker 4: try and get rid of these fires that are going on.
- 7:34Speaker 4: This is one lasty accounty. Not a danger to us
- 7:37Speaker 4: as far as like you know, being here in Jacksonville.
- 7:39Speaker 4: But the air quality when you go outside is just
- 7:43Speaker 4: not great either. The air quality and here's not really
- 7:45Speaker 4: good in this studio.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know if we have some
- 7:47Speaker 1: kind of valve that opens straight from the outside and
- 7:52Speaker 1: comes straight in.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Here, John, our air conditioning is probably from nineteen sixty two.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I mean, it's like, come on, man, if the best
- 8:00Speaker 1: just don't get you.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like sucking the air in instead of blowing
- 8:06Speaker 3: like old air out.
- 8:07Speaker 1: It ain't a filter, man. But anyway, I hope everybody
- 8:09Speaker 1: else's air quality is good today because you're going to
- 8:12Speaker 1: need it.
- 8:12Speaker 4: And if you have a chance of showers on Saturday
- 8:15Speaker 4: and Sunday, so if you go into Rockville, just prepare
- 8:17Speaker 4: for that. So, John Megan, did you know that there
- 8:20Speaker 4: is a time of day that is best for you
- 8:23Speaker 4: to make big decisions in your life? If you ever
- 8:26Speaker 4: have something and you wonder like you've got a decision,
- 8:29Speaker 4: it's weighing on your mind, it's on your you know,
- 8:31Speaker 4: you've got to make a decision. There actually is a
- 8:34Speaker 4: time of day that's better than any other time of day. Really, hmmm,
- 8:39Speaker 4: what do you think that is?
- 8:40Speaker 1: John? I would say early morning. It is.
- 8:42Speaker 4: It says when you have to make a major decision.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Research shows that morning is the best time. It's when
- 8:48Speaker 4: people tend to be the most clear headed and have
- 8:51Speaker 4: it gotten bogged down by making hundreds of other choices
- 8:55Speaker 4: throughout their day. They say that during a day, a
- 8:58Speaker 4: period of a day, you may hundreds of decisions and
- 9:01Speaker 4: you don't really think about it.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It's early right now.
- 9:04Speaker 4: You've been making decisions since you got out of bed, right,
- 9:07Speaker 4: I mean.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Yeah, we decided to get up, and to actually.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Get out of bed is a decision, and it is
- 9:13Speaker 1: it is, it is.
- 9:15Speaker 4: It says about an hour after waking up is the
- 9:17Speaker 4: sweet spot for cognitive alertness, according to experts.
- 9:21Speaker 1: So for us, we've already been pad.
- 9:23Speaker 4: We're already past our highest point of the day because
- 9:26Speaker 4: we've all been awake more than an hour.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Yes, would burnout for the rest of the day.
- 9:29Speaker 1: It's useless. It's all down here from here, oh man, exactly.
- 9:33Speaker 1: We are so toached. But it is wild.
- 9:35Speaker 4: You know.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Sometimes you do have a decision weighing down on your mind.
- 9:38Speaker 4: You're like, oh, I don't really got to make that
- 9:40Speaker 4: decision today, really got to make that decision. You put
- 9:42Speaker 4: it off, put it off, and you're thinking, is not
- 9:44Speaker 4: as clear in the afternoon as it is in the morning.
- 9:47Speaker 1: That is true, So it maybe it adds to the
- 9:49Speaker 1: adage of sleeping on it, sleeping on that decision, waking
- 9:53Speaker 1: up and having a clear brain.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Wow, yeah, I mean, you know, to roll out of
- 9:56Speaker 4: bed and before your feet hit the ground say oh,
- 9:58Speaker 4: I'm gonna make that decision right now. However, it is
- 10:01Speaker 4: something that you don't realize that how many decisions you make.
- 10:04Speaker 4: I mean, just think about it once again. Like Meghan said,
- 10:06Speaker 4: you decided to get out of bed. It is a
- 10:08Speaker 4: decision that you make. You decide when you get in
- 10:11Speaker 4: the shower. You're making decisions. When you are driving to work.
- 10:14Speaker 4: You're making decisions which way you're gonna go. You can
- 10:17Speaker 4: do this, you're gonna do that, and you're changing lanes
- 10:19Speaker 4: in the car. You're making there are so many decision
- 10:21Speaker 4: making processes that we go through. Your mind gets bogged out.
- 10:26Speaker 1: It does. Avoiding that idiot on it. That's a decision,
- 10:29Speaker 1: that's true. That's also just basically survival. But yeah, that
- 10:33Speaker 1: was me. I'm the idiot on itw recognizing with Country
- 10:40Speaker 1: ninety nine one wq i K Good News on a
- 10:43Speaker 1: Friday with the Big Show, It's Froggy John and Megan.
- 10:46Speaker 1: This girl sixteen years old. She was diagnosed with cancer
- 10:50Speaker 1: and after two years of treatment in hospital stays and
- 10:53Speaker 1: the exhaustion, will never know. Other kids her age were
- 10:57Speaker 1: worrying about a date. She's fighting for her life and
- 10:59Speaker 1: completing coursework from a hospital bed. She's going through cancer
- 11:03Speaker 1: in high school, and yet she's still graduating second in
- 11:06Speaker 1: her class with a fowero point seven to seven GPA
- 11:10Speaker 1: from Ridgeview High School and now she's walking across and
- 11:14Speaker 1: getting her diploma cancer free. She said distracting herself was
- 11:18Speaker 1: the best thing. She studied piano and then she did
- 11:21Speaker 1: her coursework, and she said she poured herself into her
- 11:24Speaker 1: studies in order just to stay distracted. She says that
- 11:27Speaker 1: was the best way. And nothing big and nothing flashy,
- 11:30Speaker 1: And now she's had a dream of becoming a neurologist
- 11:33Speaker 1: since she was twelve, and now she's heading to NYU
- 11:36Speaker 1: on a full scholarship. Wow, that's incredible, Luke Combs and
- 11:41Speaker 1: days like these makes us think about cruises the way.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Megan just had one. A big show with Froggy John
- 11:46Speaker 1: and Meghan, and we welcome Megan back after a week
- 11:48Speaker 1: on the high seas well.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Thank you. It was a dark and stormy night or
- 11:52Speaker 2: multiple nights.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Plm the water with storms out my window, lightning flashing.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Now that I'm back, I'm I'll put a picture of
- 12:01Speaker 3: a video up on my social media. Me and my
- 12:03Speaker 3: friend just laying there in our bed with a storm
- 12:06Speaker 3: raging on outside. I mean it was brutal. Wow, yeah,
- 12:11Speaker 3: but it was fun to be with her. We got
- 12:13Speaker 3: sunburnt and coughed a lot. Well wow, it so far
- 12:17Speaker 3: sounds like a swimming done antivirus. Okay, well that's a
- 12:21Speaker 3: good thing that Yeah.
- 12:23Speaker 4: So you got on the ship last Saturday, right here,
- 12:25Speaker 4: were there Saturday night, Sunday night, Monday night, Tuesday.
- 12:27Speaker 1: It was like five nights on board. How many days
- 12:31Speaker 1: was this stormy?
- 12:33Speaker 2: Three?
- 12:34Speaker 1: Really?
- 12:35Speaker 2: Three and a half.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Yeah, so, you know, like they were gonna take us
- 12:38Speaker 3: to two islands. We had to end up skipping the
- 12:41Speaker 3: first one because the weather was so bad. So we're like, oh, man,
- 12:45Speaker 3: like you you want to just turn us around and
- 12:48Speaker 3: go back to Jacksonville, Like I think we'd have more
- 12:50Speaker 3: fun there at this point. But we made the best
- 12:53Speaker 3: of it. You know, my friend, she's really lucky at
- 12:56Speaker 3: the casino.
- 12:57Speaker 2: So she was at the.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Casino and I was getting that soft surf ice cream
- 13:02Speaker 3: that they have.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Life wasn't all bad. You had soft serve.
- 13:07Speaker 3: We watched the five TV channels that they had in there,
- 13:11Speaker 3: you know, of like drug smuggling is what you watched for.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Three days in a row. Yeah, that's what we did.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Did you do any of the on board ship activities
- 13:20Speaker 4: because they always have games and you know, they have
- 13:22Speaker 4: like the Newlywed game or they had like the Wheel
- 13:24Speaker 4: of Fortune and they always have games for people to
- 13:26Speaker 4: play that. I guess they kind of get you together
- 13:27Speaker 4: as a group.
- 13:28Speaker 3: I did because she wanted to experience that, but it
- 13:32Speaker 3: wasn't really my thing. It was kind of like adult
- 13:35Speaker 3: summer camp, like if you liked that sort of thing.
- 13:38Speaker 2: You like to be busy on vacation.
- 13:39Speaker 1: People love doing that, having something to do. I understand that.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Yeah, when I'm on vacation, I don't want to do anything.
- 13:46Speaker 3: I want to just like get drunk, sit by the pool,
- 13:50Speaker 3: get some.
- 13:51Speaker 2: You know, tan going yeah, and hang out.
- 13:53Speaker 1: But you do that.
- 13:55Speaker 4: So let's go down your list of things that you
- 13:57Speaker 4: wanted to do. Did you a did you did you
- 13:59Speaker 4: and I've been the alcohol?
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yes? Check? Okay. Did you sit by the pool and
- 14:04Speaker 1: get some sunshine? Yes? Did you get a sunburn?
- 14:08Speaker 4: Yes?
- 14:08Speaker 3: I got a burn almost so severe that I needed
- 14:12Speaker 3: to go to the hospital.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Okay, that's bad.
- 14:15Speaker 2: On the first day when we had two hours of.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Sun the first day, you get a massive ugly go
- 14:23Speaker 1: see the doctor sunburn. Yes, and then it storms for
- 14:26Speaker 1: three and a half days.
- 14:27Speaker 3: No, no, no, it's stormed for the first days, and
- 14:30Speaker 3: then the sun came out for a small window, which
- 14:32Speaker 3: is why I was like, yes, fry me.
- 14:34Speaker 2: And I told my friend that, like, I want to
- 14:36Speaker 2: get fried right now.
- 14:37Speaker 4: In two hours, you did, all right. So the million
- 14:41Speaker 4: dollar question, will you be going on another cruise?
- 14:45Speaker 3: I need to vet it first better because I did
- 14:47Speaker 3: not realize they were gonna have these mascot creatures on
- 14:51Speaker 3: this thing. They had these mascots that looked like the
- 14:53Speaker 3: towel animals they put on your bed. I don't like
- 14:57Speaker 3: those towe animal anymore.
- 14:58Speaker 1: That video you send us on the first day, we
- 15:00Speaker 1: knew it. It might have been a bad omen, Megan.
- 15:03Speaker 3: They had doctor seussan thing, one thing, one thing too.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Come on, take your picture.
- 15:08Speaker 3: You know they're like grabbing you, trying to get you
- 15:10Speaker 3: to have the best experience possible.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Come take your picture.
- 15:13Speaker 3: No, no, get away from me.
- 15:17Speaker 1: That's what I said. So you're not saying you won't
- 15:20Speaker 1: go back. You just hear you won't go back on
- 15:22Speaker 1: this vet vet the mascot I mean adults only. No
- 15:26Speaker 1: mascot's allowed. I can get weird too. Just understand that
- 15:31Speaker 1: I can get weird too. Actually, you're right, you've got
- 15:33Speaker 1: a good point about that.
- 15:35Speaker 4: It's getting a mega three things to get you started
- 15:37Speaker 4: on your Jack's Friday and get your weekend going.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Poor Megan's having the coffee atcheck right now.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Yes, I'm so sorry.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 15:44Speaker 3: The Buckman Bridge construction is now going to be limiting
- 15:48Speaker 3: lane closures to the weekends, which is hopefully going to
- 15:51Speaker 3: help out with the headache the daily commuters that have
- 15:55Speaker 3: but they've been facing it going southbound on the bridge.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Is that the right, Yeah, it's going southbound this weekend
- 16:01Speaker 1: like it's been doing for the past eighteen nineteen years,
- 16:04Speaker 1: seventeen years, right, So that's it's picking back up again,
- 16:08Speaker 1: and it looks like we're going to have to do
- 16:09Speaker 1: it till the end of summer.
- 16:11Speaker 2: That will be good for people going every day though.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Jacksonville High schools are changing their school hours in order
- 16:17Speaker 3: to give teachers more.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Time to plan during the school day.
- 16:21Speaker 3: So it looks like five minutes before school starts, twenty
- 16:24Speaker 3: minutes later at school. And we've got some wildfires happening
- 16:30Speaker 3: in Lafayette County, fourteen hundred acres.
- 16:33Speaker 1: It's burning and it's smoky in town. I'm losing my
- 16:37Speaker 1: smoky here. You're losing your voice, and it's smoky in
- 16:39Speaker 1: this studio right now. So we'll let Megan go get
- 16:42Speaker 1: a lozenge. And those are Megan's three things you need
- 16:44Speaker 1: to know. It's going to be an interesting day here
- 16:47Speaker 1: around the studio, isn't it? Frog, It's going to be
- 16:49Speaker 1: an interesting day. I think you one thing we do have.
- 16:53Speaker 1: What are we planning for this? We've got a four back, Yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 1: we are out of Morgan waland tickets for the big show.
- 16:58Speaker 1: We'll have them all weekend with them Organ Waile and
- 17:00Speaker 1: winning weekend that starts tomorrow morning at eight oh five.
- 17:04Speaker 1: But what we have right here is a four pack
- 17:06Speaker 1: of tickets for the Jacksonville Waves women's professional basketball get

- 17:23Speaker 1: stories of the High Seas and it is not.
- 17:26Speaker 2: The haunt of virus. Let's make that very the haunt
- 17:28Speaker 2: of virus.
- 17:29Speaker 1: But the cold didn't go away because you were starting
- 17:32Speaker 1: this cough before you took the cruise.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Yes, John, I feel like you and I have been
- 17:36Speaker 3: hacking for the last two weeks.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Yes, we do.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Yes, I don't know why we can't get rid of it.
- 17:40Speaker 1: It's one of those things they say in radio because
- 17:42Speaker 1: we don't get a chance to shut up, that if
- 17:44Speaker 1: you have a cold, you have it all winter when
- 17:47Speaker 1: we're having it all spring.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Right, Yes, we are.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Hope you're doing well. There's a lot going on this weekend,
- 17:51Speaker 1: and hopefully in between the smoke and the rain that
- 17:54Speaker 1: we're praying for, you get out and do some thing
- 17:56Speaker 1: summer inside too. We got a big rock festival down
- 18:00Speaker 1: in Daytona. Frog.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Yeah, welcome to rockfielde going on. You used to be
- 18:04Speaker 4: at Metropolitan Park for years and years. They've moved it
- 18:06Speaker 4: to Daytona. So if you're going down to Rockfield, just
- 18:09Speaker 4: be prepared. It could be a little soupy with the
- 18:12Speaker 4: heat in the Irain. However, I should be a good
- 18:15Speaker 4: weekend down there.
- 18:16Speaker 1: And sporting events. You're looking for something to do the
- 18:18Speaker 1: Jumbo Shrip the homestand continues through Sunday. Big Mother's Day
- 18:22Speaker 1: thing on Sunday, The WWE Friday Night SmackDown happening at
- 18:27Speaker 1: the Vice Star Veterans Memorial Arena. That is tonight because
- 18:30Speaker 1: it's Friday. Also, Jacksonville Sharks will be playing on Mother's

- 18:52Speaker 3: And on Sunday at Tides Bar at the Hampton End
- 18:55Speaker 3: on Jacks Beach, We're doing reggae on the deck.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I'll be out there from two to four.
- 19:00Speaker 3: So if you eat a break from your family gathering, come,
- 19:04Speaker 3: I'll get some free corona because there's buckets and buckets.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Take my mom, I like that, Mom, I like that.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Head out there. The Riverside Avondale Garden Tour happening on
- 19:14Speaker 1: Saturday too, and the Railroad Festival shout out to green
- 19:18Speaker 1: Cove Springs. The Railroad Festival down to the historic triangle
- 19:22Speaker 1: that is tomorrow morning at ten am. Little something to
- 19:25Speaker 1: do inside outside fun side Hope, it's a great side
- 19:28Speaker 1: with you all weekend, and thank you for taking us
- 19:31Speaker 1: with you, because not only having fun with your family
- 19:34Speaker 1: with mom on Mother's Day, but opportunities all weekend to
- 19:37Speaker 1: win Morgan walland concert tickets. Yep, all you have to
- 19:41Speaker 1: do is download that iHeartRadio app. I know you are.
- 19:43Speaker 1: The Coca Cola Company holds a market share of what
- 19:47Speaker 1: in the US carbonated soft drink industry? What percentage of
- 19:52Speaker 1: the market does the Coca Cola Company have on soft
- 19:55Speaker 1: drinks in America? Lee, Jared, is that number higher or lower?
- 20:03Speaker 4: Lower?
- 20:04Speaker 1: Yeah, just a little bit. That was the same guess that.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Megan gave ye Lee, same exact one.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Jarrett, you went in the right direction. It's forty five percent,
- 20:11Speaker 1: but it's still a dominant percentage right now, Lot Pepsi
- 20:14Speaker 1: has twenty five and Doctor Pepper has just a little
- 20:17Speaker 1: under Pepsi there, So alrighty Jared gets that point, and Jarrett,
- 20:21Speaker 1: you get this question. First. It was this week and
- 20:24Speaker 1: what year for the series finale of the TV show Friends.
- 20:31Speaker 1: What year did that officially go off? The air in
- 20:34Speaker 1: first run, Jarrett Lee? Was it before after nineteen ninety five?
- 20:40Speaker 1: I think you are correct. It debuted in ninety four
- 20:44Speaker 1: and it ran all the way until two thousand and four.
- 20:46Speaker 1: So there you go, y'all were in the ballpark. Very good.
- 20:49Speaker 1: You went in the right direction. Lee, So it's tied
- 20:51Speaker 1: in tie for tiebreaker. All right, here we go. It's
- 20:56Speaker 1: a basketball question. If you know the answer to this question,
- 21:00Speaker 1: shout your name. Who has won more NBA championships? Michael
- 21:04Speaker 1: Jordan or Lebron James, j Jared That's what I heard,
- 21:10Speaker 1: jareded Okay, Jared, Michael Jordan, Michael Jordan, He's won six,
- 21:14Speaker 1: Lebron's won four, Jared's one one. That's the pop quiz.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Congratulations And if any of you two were wondering Michael
- 21:21Speaker 3: Jordan is still alive, had.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Issues with Lean. We appreciate your play and thank you buddy.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Thanks John and Jared. Congratulations. While we're talking, it's Friday.
- 21:34Speaker 1: It's great to be with you. We sure appreciate it.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Saying Another's Day is on Sunday.
- 21:39Speaker 4: And if you haven't made those plans yet, it's time
- 21:42Speaker 4: to start the old cram session.
- 21:44Speaker 1: You better get it.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Done. You can't this is I mean, it's such an
- 21:46Speaker 4: important day. Mom does so much for us every single day.
- 21:50Speaker 4: I mean, listen, I know I had somebody reach out
- 21:53Speaker 4: to you the other day like, hey, you guys are
- 21:55Speaker 4: always so positive talking about moms. What if you don't
- 21:58Speaker 4: have a good mom? Like, if you don't have good mom,
- 22:00Speaker 4: I'm sorry. But for the most part, moms are fabulous
- 22:04Speaker 4: and you don't really realize until you are an adult
- 22:08Speaker 4: how much mom really does go.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Above and beyond for you.
- 22:11Speaker 4: That is true, That is it says that according to
- 22:14Speaker 4: the National Retail Federation, spending on Mother's Day this year
- 22:17Speaker 4: it's expected to reach a record thirty eight billion dollars
- 22:22Speaker 4: with a be expected to be spent on Mother's Day
- 22:24Speaker 4: this year.
- 22:24Speaker 1: That's up from thirty four billion just last year.
- 22:28Speaker 2: There's a lot of money being shilled out.
- 22:30Speaker 1: When my mom was alive, she used to hate that.
- 22:32Speaker 1: She would go, I do not want you. Don't you
- 22:35Speaker 1: dare spend this much on me? But if I did
- 22:38Speaker 1: spend so much on her, she'd be like, oh, that
- 22:39Speaker 1: is the sweetest thing.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Says The average person plans suspend her on two hundred
- 22:45Speaker 4: and eighty five dollars on gifts from mom. Now that
- 22:48Speaker 4: includes the gift, the card, the flowers, and then taking
- 22:51Speaker 4: mom to dinner. Did you know, it says a did
- 22:53Speaker 4: you know College of Knowledge that Mother's Day is the
- 22:57Speaker 4: busiest day of the year in the restaurant business.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Mm hmm, Yeah, I didn't know that.
- 23:02Speaker 3: I used to serve tables and it would be a
- 23:04Speaker 3: madhouse for breakfast.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Was it a good tip day? Was it a good
- 23:08Speaker 1: tip day for you?
- 23:09Speaker 3: It was a good tip day, Yeah, because you just
- 23:10Speaker 3: had so many tables turning over.
- 23:12Speaker 1: People were generous to probably a little extra generous because
- 23:15Speaker 1: it is a big occasion with Mama. Absolutely well that
- 23:18Speaker 1: flowers are the most popular gift.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Greeting cards or second special outings like dinner or brunch
- 23:23Speaker 4: gift cards and clothing, accessories and jewelry are in the
- 23:27Speaker 4: next most popular gifts.
- 23:29Speaker 1: In separate pool.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Almost fifty percent of Americans planning to celebrate Mother's Day
- 23:33Speaker 4: this year thirty four percent do not. By comparison, only
- 23:36Speaker 4: thirty four percent of people celebrate Father's Day, So Father's
- 23:40Speaker 4: Day pales in comparison to Mother's Day.
- 23:44Speaker 2: That number is really shocking.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Yeah, but I think that's society. Yeah, because of the
- 23:50Speaker 1: deadbeat dads could be you know things. Certuly, You're right.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I think that's part of a societal issue too, there
- 23:57Speaker 1: for sure. My wife though, you know what she wants.
- 24:00Speaker 1: She wants a pork chop. She wants me to make
- 24:02Speaker 1: a pork chop, a grilled pork chop. She said, it's
- 24:05Speaker 1: her favorite thing on earth. So I will be making
- 24:07Speaker 1: her a grilled pork job when we're doing it on Saturday,
- 24:09Speaker 1: because we got some other things going on Sunday. So
- 24:12Speaker 1: tomorrow I will be grilling pork chops for Mother's Day
- 24:15Speaker 1: for my wife and for my daughter in law.
- 24:17Speaker 2: That is awesome.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Yeah, put an extra one on and nowhere albe.
- 24:20Speaker 2: That will we're all coming over.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, everybody's a mother on Saturday.
- 24:26Speaker 4: You know.
- 24:26Speaker 3: I think it's so important too not to forget about
- 24:28Speaker 3: the bonus moms and the step moms who sometimes ended
- 24:32Speaker 3: up getting the short end of the stick.
- 24:35Speaker 2: My friend who went on this cruise with me, she's.
- 24:38Speaker 3: A step mom and she's got her stepchild who to
- 24:42Speaker 3: her is her child ninety eight percent of the time.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:45Speaker 3: She has cared for this baby since she was you know,
- 24:48Speaker 3: two or three, and we went out and we got
- 24:52Speaker 3: her a little surprised to come home to when we
- 24:55Speaker 3: came back from the cruise, balloons and bouquet flowers. Obviously
- 24:58Speaker 3: she can't take it with her, but she doesn't get
- 25:01Speaker 3: her child, her stepchild on Mother's Day. It just it
- 25:05Speaker 3: breaks my heart to see because she is the day
- 25:09Speaker 3: today mom, and sometimes is the bonus moms.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Get kind of forgotten.
- 25:14Speaker 1: That's a good point.
- 25:15Speaker 4: Yeah, it's good to good to take care of all moms,
- 25:19Speaker 4: whether it's it's somebody who's your biological mother, is somebody
- 25:21Speaker 4: who's been a mother to you, which is so much
- 25:23Speaker 4: more important. You really should make him feel appreciated every day.
- 25:28Speaker 4: But Mother's Day is a really good day to kind
- 25:30Speaker 4: of step up and say, hey, listen, thank you for
- 25:32Speaker 4: doing what you've done for me.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I wouldn't be the person I am without you. And
- 25:35Speaker 1: swing by and get a pork chop. I'm ready to
- 25:37Speaker 1: let's do that too. Now I'll do that states on
- 25:41Speaker 1: Father's Day. Yeah. Maybe I'm not as good as think
- 25:44Speaker 1: cook cooker, but man, pork chop, that's my that's my bag.
- 25:47Speaker 1: John can probably cook about.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Anything that's between John and his wife Jill. Anything the kitchen.
- 25:54Speaker 4: Let's get into I Megan's three things get you started
- 25:56Speaker 4: on your Jacksonville Friday haws.
- 25:58Speaker 2: It looking Megan, Well, this is kind of neat Beaches.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Habitat for Humanity is opening up their first housing project.
- 26:05Speaker 3: They're town homes that they've been working hard to get
- 26:07Speaker 3: ready and now they are.
- 26:09Speaker 2: So that's really cool opening up.
- 26:11Speaker 1: That is cool. How about at Free Humanity seems to
- 26:13Speaker 1: get things done and I like that I hear them
- 26:16Speaker 1: starting and finishing things. Yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the type of energy we need going into
- 26:21Speaker 3: the Buckman Bridge construction. They're changing things up a little
- 26:25Speaker 3: bit because it's been a headache for people that have
- 26:28Speaker 3: to cross the Buckman with the construction for their daily commutes.
- 26:31Speaker 3: So now they're going to be limiting some of the
- 26:34Speaker 3: enclosures to weekends only. Hopefully that'll help you out. Jacksonville
- 26:38Speaker 3: High schools are changing hours next year, adding a half
- 26:42Speaker 3: hour to the school day, so five minutes earlier start time,
- 26:46Speaker 3: twenty minutes later getting out of school, and this is
- 26:49Speaker 3: supposed to give teachers more planning time and a little
- 26:51Speaker 3: bit of a break during the day.
- 26:53Speaker 2: That's three things you need to know.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Oh and just to say it's southbound this weekend on
- 26:57Speaker 1: the Buckman Bridge that we're at a big show with Froggy,
- 26:59Speaker 1: John and Meghan. We just had the big exodus happen
- 27:02Speaker 1: and we just had it here in the back parking
- 27:04Speaker 1: lot because there's they're building something on the back parking Yeah,
- 27:08Speaker 1: so all three of us had to run out to
- 27:10Speaker 1: the truck and move it because there's a dump truck
- 27:13Speaker 1: that is going about ninety right past us. And he
- 27:16Speaker 1: started noticing dirt come flying off the back of his truck,
- 27:18Speaker 1: and I was like, you know, before we get covered
- 27:20Speaker 1: and filth. We're all parking on the side parking lot. Now.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Just for anybody who's paying attention.
- 27:25Speaker 2: He's having a great day. He's flying around, flying.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I mean, I think he's made a game out of this.
- 27:31Speaker 4: I'm going to take my truck back there and here,
- 27:32Speaker 4: so let me move some dirt around just so I
- 27:34Speaker 4: can say I use it for something.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that's true to more manly.
- 27:39Speaker 4: If I did that, I'd be like, hey, I got
- 27:41Speaker 4: my truck for a reason exactly non stop.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Big show rolls on real quick. I want to go
- 27:45Speaker 1: over this.
- 27:45Speaker 4: They released a list of the best guitarists in Nashville,
- 27:51Speaker 4: So this is a top ten here. I'll give you
- 27:53Speaker 4: the top five ones. We're done, but let's see how
- 27:55Speaker 4: many we can guess. Go ahead, Megan, you go first,
- 27:58Speaker 4: names that you think are on the list of the
- 28:00Speaker 4: top ten guitarists in country music.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Oh, this is challenging guitarist. Let's see Keith Urban.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Well, Megan just killed off number one. There we go.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Really that was a shot in the dark, I promise.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Yeah. No, Keith Urban number one, and I would agree.
- 28:15Speaker 4: I was at an event. You guys have seen the video.
- 28:18Speaker 4: I was at an event. There must have been thirty
- 28:21Speaker 4: people in the room, and it was a very small room,
- 28:23Speaker 4: very small stage, and that guy performed as if he
- 28:26Speaker 4: was performing for a stadium of one hundred thousand. It
- 28:28Speaker 4: was incredible. Keith Urban is definitely number one. John who
- 28:32Speaker 4: else he thinks on the list?
- 28:33Speaker 1: I would guess another contemporary of Keith since they did
- 28:36Speaker 1: an album a song together, Brad Paisley. He is number
- 28:39Speaker 1: four on the list. Okay, wow, okay, more guess this, Megan.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Chris Stableton Stableton not on the list. Are we are
- 28:48Speaker 1: we going back to? Can we go back in time? Yeah?
- 28:51Speaker 1: Oh okay, I was thinking of contemporaries at first. Well
- 28:54Speaker 1: in that case, Vince gill is one of the greatest
- 28:55Speaker 1: guitarists anywhere on this planet and still coming in at
- 28:58Speaker 1: number three.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Okay, okay, number three.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Are or did they have to be alive? I don't
- 29:08Speaker 1: think so, Okay, I don't know if they. I don't
- 29:14Speaker 1: know if they ever called him Nashville or not. Because
- 29:16Speaker 1: he was more of a California guy. Who's that? Glenn Campbell?
- 29:20Speaker 1: Glenn Campbell's number five? Okay, because he was part of
- 29:22Speaker 1: the LA Session guys. He grew up in Arkansas but
- 29:26Speaker 1: did most of his recording in Los Angeles. But okay, yeah,
- 29:29Speaker 1: he's he was. He was as as great a singer
- 29:32Speaker 1: he was. People forgot what a great guitar player Glen
- 29:35Speaker 1: Campbell was.
- 29:36Speaker 4: You guys have named four of the top five. Yeah,
- 29:38Speaker 4: Keith Urbant one. We haven't named two yet. Vince kill three,
- 29:40Speaker 4: Brad Tasley four, Glenn Campbell's number five. John Osborne, the
- 29:44Speaker 4: brothers Osborne is number six.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Oh oh yeah, so we go there next. Wow? So
- 29:50Speaker 1: none of the Session guys that we know, right, So
- 29:53Speaker 1: number two? Number two initials are c A Oh okay,
- 29:59Speaker 1: any idea older guy invented as invented a style of picking.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Actually he was. He was the head of RCA Records
- 30:07Speaker 1: for a long time. Chet Atkins, am I right before
- 30:11Speaker 1: before I go on this high rate and I'm wrong.
- 30:13Speaker 3: No.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Number two. Chad Atkins he was. He was a picker,
- 30:17Speaker 1: a real good picker, and people still will pick in
- 30:20Speaker 1: the in the Cheat Adkins style.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Wow, I had no idea.
- 30:24Speaker 1: And then he ended up running a record or he
- 30:25Speaker 1: was the A and R guy for a record label
- 30:27Speaker 1: for a long time.
- 30:27Speaker 4: WHOA is your top five guitarists in all of country music?
- 30:31Speaker 1: And I definitely agree with number one. Keith Urban is
- 30:33Speaker 1: truly incredible. Not a bad batch. Yeah, I would take
- 30:35Speaker 1: all five on probably. I would probably take Glenn Campbell
- 30:39Speaker 1: watching it and learning how to play guitar. Keithmore showy
- 30:42Speaker 1: good news from chabbooze, good news, it's Friday. Good news
- 30:46Speaker 1: for making She's off for cruise.
- 30:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm so glad I made it off that thing.
- 30:51Speaker 3: It was storming like crazy.
- 30:53Speaker 1: I'm so sorry your first cruise experience and it's storming
- 30:57Speaker 1: and you got a cough and you got massive Scott's
- 31:00Speaker 1: running around.
- 31:01Speaker 3: And I just got my vision back because those sick
- 31:03Speaker 3: patches made me and my friend blind.
- 31:06Speaker 2: I mean, I couldn't. I couldn't even text my boyfriend Ollie.
- 31:09Speaker 1: She took me where would you wear his eye patches?
- 31:12Speaker 3: Well, my friend, she my friend touched her her contacts
- 31:16Speaker 3: after putting them on me, after putting the sticker on me,
- 31:19Speaker 3: so she was done.
- 31:20Speaker 2: So I had no idea they did that to you.
- 31:23Speaker 3: So I'm walking around telling her like, I can't read
- 31:27Speaker 3: is this?
- 31:27Speaker 2: She's older than me, so.
- 31:31Speaker 1: This is what it's like to be older.
- 31:32Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm not on thirty's door. Maybe that's it.
- 31:35Speaker 3: But I could not see. Actually this morning I was wondering.
- 31:39Speaker 3: I was wondering if I was gonna be okay to drive.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Thank goodness, I was yesterday. My friend who's a guest,
- 31:46Speaker 3: she's never been to Jacksonville before. She's driving me around
- 31:49Speaker 3: town because I couldn't see anything dizzy from the patch.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Yes, like it.
- 31:55Speaker 3: I guess one of the side effects is extreme blurred vision.
- 31:59Speaker 3: So I couldn't read anything at all. We're in elevators
- 32:02Speaker 3: in this cruise.
- 32:04Speaker 1: That's what I'm thinking. There was something to drinking.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Package I had to stop drinking.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Alcohol was a factor here.
- 32:10Speaker 3: No, I'm telling you what like on the cruise ship
- 32:14Speaker 3: in the middle of the ocean and the storm's happening,
- 32:17Speaker 3: and then they start playing Titanic music. Really makes you
- 32:20Speaker 3: start to wonder, what's gonna happen to you? Yes, yes,
- 32:24Speaker 3: they played the Titanic twice.
- 32:31Speaker 4: Sadistic cruise line or so, Megan, let me ask you,
- 32:34Speaker 4: on a scale of one to ten, what would you
- 32:36Speaker 4: rate your final your final cruise experience?
- 32:39Speaker 1: What would you rate.
- 32:39Speaker 3: It the actual cruise? My friend aside a two, a two.
- 32:49Speaker 3: My friend made it a ten. If she wasn't there
- 32:52Speaker 3: with me, it would have probably been a one. But
- 32:55Speaker 3: just because the weather, we couldn't make any of the stops.
- 32:58Speaker 3: And then I got so sunburned.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I mean, well, that's not the cruise's fault.
- 33:03Speaker 2: The experience of it.
- 33:05Speaker 1: That's part of the package with her though, that's playing
- 33:08Speaker 1: the playing the grown up game.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:11Speaker 3: It got to the point we had nothing to do
- 33:13Speaker 3: and they had a big like veterans gathering. So my
- 33:17Speaker 3: friend she's like, well, let's go see this. I'm like, okay,
- 33:21Speaker 3: So that was kind of cool just to look around
- 33:22Speaker 3: and see, oh my gosh, like half of the ship
- 33:25Speaker 3: is a bunch of veterans, right, and so everyone's joking
- 33:28Speaker 3: around and we took a big group picture that was
- 33:30Speaker 3: kind of neat, you know, and we got to play
- 33:32Speaker 3: all the different branch songs.
- 33:35Speaker 2: That was cool.
- 33:35Speaker 3: I wasn't expecting that, right, little tribute to you on there. Yeah,
- 33:39Speaker 3: but you know, the weather was just so bad. I mean,
- 33:41Speaker 3: the lightning coming through your what is it called a porthole?
- 33:45Speaker 2: The sounds dirty.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Like a window.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Yeah, that was scary. The water was going nuts outside.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I was like, how.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Could this get worse?
- 33:55Speaker 3: Then we read about the hantavirus and I'm like, okay,
- 34:00Speaker 3: our complaints from Megan over here.
- 34:01Speaker 1: We're not leaving the room though, So you got videos posted?
- 34:05Speaker 1: Because you know, I don't do social media, So did
- 34:07Speaker 1: you post any of this stuff?
- 34:08Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 34:08Speaker 3: My Instagram. My instagram is it's Meg and Terry. I've
- 34:12Speaker 3: got a video of that lightning coming through the window
- 34:15Speaker 3: and we we're watching them Rudy the football movie up
- 34:18Speaker 3: on the sea, you know. So yeah, it's up there
- 34:21Speaker 3: if you want to see. It's kind of for storm lovers.
- 34:26Speaker 3: It's kind of cozy. My friend was loving it, but
- 34:29Speaker 3: I was terrified.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Nah, not on the high seas.
- 34:32Speaker 3: No, You're bouncing around, like are these beds bolted down here?
- 34:37Speaker 1: What did you get a nap? Because that was the
- 34:39Speaker 1: one thing my wife and I remembered about the cruise
- 34:41Speaker 1: we took was that it was the best nap ever.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Did you get a nap?
- 34:44Speaker 3: Think I took too many? I was doing a one
- 34:47Speaker 3: four hour a day. My friend was like, her husband,
- 34:51Speaker 3: Colin said Megan, Caroline, are you gonna sleep this whole cruise?
- 34:56Speaker 2: And I was like, I don't know what's wrong with me.
- 35:00Speaker 3: See, I'm burned a Chris, I'm coughing my lungs out.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Yeah. But aside from that, Missus Lincoln, how did you
- 35:07Speaker 1: like to play? Right? Well, Megan's three things. We know
- 35:15Speaker 1: she won't be going on another cruise anytime soon.
- 35:17Speaker 2: It's gonna be a while.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Well, there have been some wildfires happening since I have
- 35:23Speaker 3: been gone. Fourteen hundred acres in Lafayette County are burning,
- 35:27Speaker 3: so we want to give them our best. It's been
- 35:31Speaker 3: a lot with the wildfires we've had in town that
- 35:34Speaker 3: South Georgia has had to get through, so I really
- 35:38Speaker 3: hated to see that.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Coming back go win from Lafayette County is what we're
- 35:41Speaker 1: getting today. It's why it's so smoky in Jacksonville and
- 35:44Speaker 1: Lafayette County is not like next door. You know, it's
- 35:46Speaker 1: it's weird how the wind blows. It's in our studio
- 35:49Speaker 1: like it's it's side of here. That's that's that's architecture problem.
- 35:54Speaker 1: That's a whole different problem.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Jacksonville High Schools are changing school hours next year, so
- 36:00Speaker 3: they're adding a half hour to school day, five minutes
- 36:02Speaker 3: before school twenty minutes after. I mean, this is supposed
- 36:05Speaker 3: to help teachers have more planning time and more time
- 36:09Speaker 3: in between. Beach's Habitat for Humanity is opening up their
- 36:12Speaker 3: first housing project. They're town homes that they've been working
- 36:15Speaker 3: hard at. So that's really exciting and I just love
- 36:18Speaker 3: it because they are so fast and they do line one.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Wq IK The Big Show with Frankie, John and Megan
- 36:24Speaker 1: will be back Monday. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Megan.
- 36:26Speaker 1: You're going to be at the Tides End on Sunday,
- 36:28Speaker 1: Little Reggae on the deck.
- 36:30Speaker 3: Yes, Free Corona is sponsored by Corona, so come out
- 36:33Speaker 3: and hang out.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Lots of fun games.
- 36:34Speaker 1: What did we learn after Megan's day back from the
- 36:37Speaker 1: High Seas on a cruise, What did we learn today?
- 36:39Speaker 3: Megan John, you are going to have to take your
- 36:42Speaker 3: car to the car wash with the second day in
- 36:44Speaker 3: a row because this bulltzer appear is blowing into the
- 36:47Speaker 3: whole nights of crud.
- 36:48Speaker 2: All do our farky lot Guy's going ninety miles an hour.
- 36:51Speaker 1: In the park the Big Show Extra sponsored by Farah
- 36:54Speaker 1: and Farah. Here for You, Here for Good,
