  And you know, your book, The Kingdom Fight, a 40 Day Journey to Greatness begins with a story about the battle for your soul.

  A father who was a devout Muslim and a mother who was a committed Christian.

  Let's start by talking about that struggle that led you to where you are today.

  So, yeah, so the very first thing when I was born, my father raised me up, and he said, Allah walk by, which is a blessing of in Arabic, God is the greatest.

  At that same time, while my mother was still laying on the bed and just giving me birth, she said, Praise Jesus, Jesus Christ is the greatest.

  So right there is where my battle started.

  Right there is where there was a conflict of spiritual conflict of Islam and Christianity as we know it.

  But now that I understand I call it being a follower of Yeshua.

  So through that time, I have both perspectives being thrown at me.

  But as you're going to find out later throughout the interview, I found the truth.

  I found the way, and I found the life through supernatural encounters, through ups and downs of my life, through the testimony of my life, my struggles, my up and down.

  I found that that the only true way living God and the way too, true um kingdom authority is through Jesus Christ.

  So I talk about that in the book.

  I talk about the battles, the struggles, how I overcame through the power of God through walking in a relationship with him and the fruits of how that is available for everyone who wants the same thing.

  So yeah.

  You know, your uncle Muhammad Ali said that service to others is the rent you pay for the room here on earth, which I found really profound.

  So what that means to me is every action that you do with your heart posture, and if you do it from a place of love, if you do it from a place of peace, see our gifts are given from God, not for us, not to make us better better, to make us greater, but to give to others to help show the the greatness and the strength in others.

  Our gifts are to empower other people to come to become the best versions of themselves and to understand that there is a God who loves them and to lead them into that way and truth in their own lives.

  So that's what I think my uncle meant by that.

  And the more you do that, the more blessing and honors God, and the more God sees that you reflect his divine purposes.

  Number one, which is love, number one is serving others and blessing others more than yourself.

  That's the number one principle.

  So now through your life, you've had struggles like you know, fame and money, and you've been defeated and things, and you're you know, born into an obviously fit very famous family.

  So what does a person do to raise above life's challenges and to keep fighting even when the odds are stacked against them?

  Because you obviously have done that at various points in time in your life.
• 5:32
  What encouragement would you give to others about that?
• 5:36
  Never give up, never give up.
• 5:38
  I don't care what your mother says about you, what your father, if you've been given quote unquote a bad hand, there's never a bad hand.

  What I found out is that through true adversity, through the furnace of affliction, as we're true character is forged, meaning God allows things to happen for us that we think are bad, but actually it's moments to show that we truly need him because in our own power, you're right.

  I never will make it, but I need a greater power, I need a greater source, and that is God, and he allows us to go through these things to show that us as humans, it's impossible.

  But with God, all things are possible.

  But when we understand and we give it all to Jesus Christ, and we lean on his ways and his knowledge and his understanding, that's where true strength comes.

  That's where you will find your true character, and that's where the joy and the power to live another day, to take another step forward will come from.

  But it starts by believing, it starts by knowing no, I can do it in my own power, and we need you, God, to show yourself great and strong in our weakness.

  How did you become such a passionate inspired Christian man?
• 6:58
  Through ups and downs, through number one, only by the mercy and grace of God, through the love of God, through the forgiveness of God, through God never giving up on me, Doctor, when I gave up on myself, but God showing himself strong through trust.

  That's the only reason why I'm still sitting here talking to you today.

  Is because there's a God who loved me who didn't give up on me.
• 7:23
  So there were seasons where I didn't want to go on no more.
• 7:26
  I didn't want to live.
• 7:47
  So I said it was better even in those small moments to have even a small relationship with God.

  So how much sore can I have it now?
• 7:55
  So I just went back to that place, begin to come conversate with God, begin to be in a relationship with him, and he gave me the strength, Dr.

  E to overcome, to pour into me.
• 8:05
  And the more I gave to him, the more I begin to walk in obedience, the more I begin to try to stop doing things on my own and start doing things his way.

  That's when more wisdom came, more knowledge came, more understanding.

  I mean, the more victories came.
• 8:22
  So yeah, that's the only reason why I'm here is by the grace of God.

  By his love through Jesus.

  Only reason while I'm still here.

  So, what were some of your low points that you thought it was just done, and then God showed up for you in your life.

  When I walked away from his calling, um, I had a relationship with God, but then the things of the world, I did fall back for seasons to where I went back into drinking real heavy.

  Um, I got caught up in alcoholism.
• 8:55
  I got caught caught up in every illicit thing you can think.
• 8:58
  See, I could talk about my testimony because I've been set free and healed.

  So I can relate to the personnel who is dealing with pornography addictions, or who was chasing illicit things or going after drugs to fulfill you.

  I've been there.
• 9:13
  I've been there.

  Yeah, it was pleasure in 10, but only for a season, and then the end is death.

  So the moment I understood that, and I remembered, like I said, like I just got finished saying about four minutes ago about my prodigal son.

  I live the prodigal son lifestyle.

  I got my inheritance, went out, squandered it, but God restored me.
• 9:37
  Every day, and when I came back to myself, and I repented and I asked God to heal me and cleanse me of all the unclean spirits.

  I had supernatural encounters.

  God deliver me, heal me.

  Every addiction was broken, and God gave me my crown back.

  He gave me my ring of authority, and he gave me my slippers back of royalty and righteousness by his blood and by his love through Jesus.

  Jesus Christ, his son.

  So now, because of that, I have weapons of warfare to help pull you, my brothers and sisters out of the same muck of mire I've been in because I'm not only talking about it, it's not false hope, but I've been through it.

  I lived it, and I know without a doubt that Jesus is the truth, the way to life, and he's more real than I am looking at you talking to you right now.

  What would you say to someone who's listening to this?

  Who's struggling with some form of an addiction problem, whether it's drugs or alcohol or workaholism or just some sort of an addiction?

  Say to them is the first place to start.

  Being real with yourself, finding out what trauma for you or what place in your life shifted to still your innocence, to still your hope, to steal your identity and being real and understanding that we all need each other.

  There's a point of life.

  See, we're created, we are relational beings, and we and what the enemy tries to do is he tries to isolate you and make you think you're the only one in the world.

  No one can relate to you, nobody cares.
• 11:20
  But that's the biggest deception.

  Everybody cares.
• 11:24
  There are people out there who do care about you.
• 11:27
  And if the devil can keep you isolated, if he can keep you from speaking the truth and really seeking and understanding that it was not your fault, the thing that happened to you, that thing, the trauma, the word curses that were spoken over you, or maybe the molestation that happened to you at a young age.

  It was not your fault, but God wants to heal you, He wants to restore you, and God will make you whole again, but you have to come to a place to where you have to trust, to where you have to be truthful with yourself, to where you have to forgive, let it go, and trust.

  You can't do it in your own, but God can help you every step of the way when you truly seek him and ask for his help, he will be there to help restore you.

  Yes, which make it really real.

  What can be the idea to put together this 40-day walk and sharing your story and encouragement?

  How did you how did this all come together for you?
• 12:35
  Well, well, being around my uncle, um a lot, and my father when I was young growing up, uh seeing seeing my uncle's character.
• 12:46
  Um, we know the stances he took in public for humanitarian rights for his religious beliefs, and yes, he really did believe that.
• 12:58
  He really did believe in peace.
• 13:00
  He really did hold his relationship with God truthful.
• 13:03
  So to see his character and emotion behind the cameras, to actually see him in everyday life, just like sitting across the table just talking to him, he was the same more so.

  Let me tell you, Doctor, he was even more humble in person.

  So to see him and to see the love of my father, my father laid down his life for his brother to help Muhammad be who he was.

  See, a lot of people don't know the real story of the brothers, which I will tell one day in my testimony.

  That's another topic that we can talk about another day.

  But to see love and action, not only that, I had a mother who was loved too.
• 13:42
  So to see the fruits and to see the wisdom of my uncle.
• 13:45
  So every quote my uncle spoke was not about fame or hype.

  It was something he lived, it was something that was part of his character.

  He understood that he was here to make people better.

  So to see that in everyday life and see that emotion, not just a talk, but the visibility of that.

  I said, when I begin to pray and and I came into my own, and I asked God, I want to inspire people the same way.

  Give me Father God, my calling, my anointing of what you call me to do.

  How can I partake my family legacy, the strength of his blood, my uncle, my father, and incorporated?

  And the Lord gave me a vision.
• 14:33
  The Holy Spirit said, use his quotes and the experiences of your victories in life, and we're going to put together this massive ball of wisdom and release it to the world to help them overcome to become victorious.

  Number one, through wisdom of Muhammad, through the world seeing and understanding his victories, but this is the basis of it all.

  But through the victory of my son Jesus Christ, of restoration back to the kingdom of God, of restoration back to me.

  We're going to mingle it together, and we're going to serve this big piece of pie of redemption, of hope, of love and truth to help people receive all they can be and restore them back into the right relationship with me when they see the fruits of that testimony.

  That's where it came.

  Excuse me, but I've been through quite a few of the steps, and they're really thought-provoking.

  Yeah.

  Steps that really are introspective.

  They're not like, you know, name the five things that you want under the Christmas tree.

  They're not really thought-provoking on if you could do your life any way you wanted it, where would you start?

  I mean, these are really, really good.

  In fact, you detail the importance of building and living out a legacy.

  I take responsibility for your actions and your choices.

  So talk about the importance of personal responsibility and accountability to leave an important, impactful legacy.

  Well, see, so we all have a legacy.

  Um God doesn't make mistakes.
• 16:12
  So every human being that's created, we have a past, we have a family bloodline.
• 16:18
  And the moment you come into the earth, it's your choice to dictate what your bloodline and what your family history is going to be known for going forward.

  So what the enemy wants to do, he wants to curse bloodlines, he wants to break your anointing.
• 16:34
  Everybody, everybody was created for a purpose by God to bring a blessing and to interconnect with other human beings.
• 16:44
  What stifles the motion in life sometimes is bondages is addictions, is of breaking out of the barrier in the relationship with God.

  So when you understand legacy, you understand purpose, which this book helps teach you to refocus and regain if you lost it, is who you're created to be, how God sees you through his eyes, through the struggles and the challenges that you think were meant to kill you and break you, they were really meant to make you stronger.

  And so this book helping helps open up that understanding through the things I've been through, through the wisdom of my uncle, to make you the best version of yourself you can be, but through a relationship with God, because through God, all things are possible.

  So the premise of this, and you said it right, Dr.

  I I did not want to be, because this is not a common book.

  I'm not a common individual.

  God is not a common God.

  God is a God of uniqueness, God is a God of creativity, and we all have a purpose.

  No two people are alike.

  So the calling he's given me, the creativity, I wanted to serve it up, give it to the world to help them grow the same way I was able to overcome and grow through a relationship with God and through understanding we have the power, we have the victory.

  It is within us to become greater and go after our dreams and our hopes, and they can be achieved.

  They can be achieved and they will be achieved when you surrender all to God and you walk with him in the fullness of obedience.

  100%, 100% living witness, 100%.

  What do you say to people who are trying to fight back in the face of defeat?

  They're struggling to know the direction and don't hear God's voice.

  What would you say to them to encourage one day at a time?

  You're still here for a reason.

  You're still here for a purpose.

  If you didn't matter, God or whatever, if you don't believe in God at that time, the source or or what you say, uh, situations would have taken you out.

  But because you're still here, because you still have five more minutes to breathe, don't give up.

  There's hope.

  Reach out to somebody.

  Don't let your thoughts, so what you think, imaginations are not realities.

  Imaginations are something that could be, but it's not truth.

  So the thing I'm saying is the imaginations that's trying to tell you that you're less than that you're not worth it.

  Begin to think positive, reach out to someone, seek you tried everything else, and you hit rock bottom.

  So why not reach out before you throw in a towel completely, reach out to somebody and see it?

  Maybe this time it'd be a change, it'll be a difference.

  And I guarantee it will be.

  Those who have not had an encounter with him yet, God will put there's no such word as coincidence.

  It's divine timing and seasons.

  So God will bring in angel your way.

  Because the Bible tells us that God wishes none should perish, but all shall come until the knowledge and relationship of him.

  So before God allows the enemy to steal you, he will send you an angel.

  Trust, believe that one more minute, one more day, one more opportunity could be the breakthrough you're looking for.

  So that's what I would tell him.

  If you have one more breath, one more minute, God has you there to redeem and make things better for you.

  And so being being prayer patient is a lesson.

  And that's one of the things that your day-to-day journey does in your book on you know, your book uh kingdom fight.

  Teach people, you give them exercises to talk to learn how to have mental resilience, which you say is crucial for both personal personal and professional growth and success.

  Where do you where did you find that inside of you?

  And where would you tell people about finding that mental resilience to move forward?

  Well, a great man of God and a one of my spiritual fathers.

  I heard him say one time nothing is yours until it becomes yours.

  Meaning you can hear so much in life, you can hear people say what you need to do, but until you apply it and it becomes real and relevant to you, it would never mean nothing, or you can never walk into fullness of that revelation.

  So that's why I do at the end of each chapter.

  I give you an opportunity to experience when you apply every day of this 40-day journey to which you experience for that particular day, and how the application of what I am giving to you is what I what I am offering to you to exercise, how that application changed your day.

  And for you to reflect on how that principle helped change your direction for that day.

  And you're going to find yourself after the end of these 40 days.

  If you follow that process and you apply it even a little bit, you're going to say, Wow, I am not the same person I was when I started 40 days ago.

  But you know what I am now?

  I've been praying for a mate for a woman of God for the longest.

  And there's been seasons to where I've been trying to force the hand of God.

  God said, No, patience, you're not ready yet.

  You got you got to grow in certain areas.

  I'm like, okay, God.

  So this last season of my life, I just gave it up.

  I begin to just reflect, say, okay, God, I trust you.

  I'll pray.

  I know you're going to bring her at your right time in your seasons.

  God says when you begin to walk in obedience and you walk in the fullness of what I do, and you focus on me on ministering, bringing the love of hope to people, going across the nation, preaching my word, moving to science, wonders and miracles.

  She will come.

  She came less than a month ago.

  I moved here in California.

  I'm currently in early California.

  I was at my I was at my uh home church glad, glad tidings up here with Pastor Dave.

  And I was wears at an Isaiah 61 conference.

  I was in the middle of ministering.

  I've been called to the ministry by the grace of God, flowing the prophetic as an evangelist.

  And she came.

  The moment I saw her, there was a twinkling in my spirit.

  God said, That's your wife.

  To make a long story short, there were a lot of confirmations, a lot of things that God made it happen.

  So patience, season, timing.

  Do not give up.

  If it has not happened when you think it is supposed to happen, it's because God loves you enough.

  He doesn't want to give it to you too early because you will misuse the gift you're waiting for.

  So a lot of time, patience teaches perseverance, patience molds us, it refines us, it gets things out of us that we thought we were over, but are still hidden.

  Trust God, but no without a doubt, God has not forgotten you what you've prayed for.

  Seek God, ask him, okay, God, I know I have dreams, I have desires, so where did these come from?

  And God will give you an answer because what comes with the answer is pure peace, as what we call shalom shalom, which is peace of heart, which is peace of mind, which is peace of spirit.

  That's the same peace that Jesus walked in when he lived on the earth.

  So when you see God and you ask him, okay, God, is this the best road I need to go?

  Or Father, is there something else that you have?

  Is there something deeper in me that you've created to me?

  Show me completely truly which road I need to walk, because I want your blessing, because whichever road you put me on, Father, you will order my steps, you will make the way, you will guard me against every attack, and my destiny will be your destiny.

  And if God put something in you that is a passion, that is a drive, it is from God.

  If it's not, if it's not something that goes against helping others or something, you know, that is for your own selfish gain.

  Because God is a God of love, He's a God of increase, He's a God of He is a God of hope, and He is a God of the impossible.

  So even if what you feel seems impossible, guess what?

  It's from God because He loves to give impossible dreams to show when He works in it that it was nobody but Him who helped you get to the fullness of your calling, the fullness of your dreams, and the fullness of what you were created to be.

  So see God, and He'll show you the truth, He'll give you peace about which direction to go.

  And I think that that's listening to your to the Holy Spirit inside.

  That when you if you ask God, it's like, is this the right way I should go?

  Oh, you either you don't get any positivity, you get to it, or no way.

  You know, it's like when you try to go there, it's like something in your spirit says, take three steps back, right?

  And sing to that we small voice inside, which is the Holy Spirit trying to talk to you.

  And then also uh doors will shut.

  Like, like if it's not God's God, God will shut doors, things that begin to shift.

  Like, what's going on?

  And it's God shutting the doors, and then other doors are open, he'll lead you in another direction.

  The word of God tells us, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.

  All these things will be added unto you.

  And also tells us to pray, ask God for wisdom, and he will freely give it to you.

  He will give you the wisdom in that direction.

  The Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is the voice of God, and he will direct you and everywhere you need to go.

  Let's talk a little bit about um how words shape your reality.

  Said, you know, thoughts are things, have power, and definitions are important.

  Take that apart.

  You know, thoughts are things.

  Life in death is in the power of the tongue, and the that speakest shall eat the fruit thereof.

  Meaning, when God created us, he says, let us create them, meaning man, human and our image.

  God gave us the ability to create.

  We speak, we create, we have authority on the earth.

  God said, Let us give them authority on the earth.

  Meaning, when he said authority, let us give them creative ability like we have.

  We, the father, son, and the holy spirit.

  That's the three-quarter one when God is speaking of we.

  So that's why we are created with the soul, a mind and the intellect and a body.

  The three, four code.

  So when we speak, we create.

  That's why it's very important.

  The word tells us over and over throughout scripture to speak things that which are of a good report.

  Speak life and death over yourself over your brothers and sisters.

  Do not curse, do not say certain things.

  Do not do not speak things which are evil.

  You see, what we have to understand as well is that everything is run by legalities.

  The earth there are laws of God that he has created, and the devil, we have an enemy, and he knows that too.

  So when we speak certain things, and we speak curses over our over our life, we create curses, we create outcomes.

  When we speak life, God honors those things.

  So it's very important when we speak, what we agree with, what we make covenant with over our life, because we can create the blessings and the curse.

  So I encourage you, speak life, even if you don't see it, even if it doesn't feel like it.

  I am more than an overcomer through Christ who strengthens me.

  So I would encourage people that this book, the kingdom fight, is not only just for you.

  It's would be great in your to build your relationship with your spouse and your children, your parents, um, your friends, so a group that you might have in Sunday school or at church.

  And I would really really encourage people to pick up a copy, and after you've kind of glance through just the table of contents and get a feel for what it's all about, you will see what I'm speaking about, and you'll probably want to buy like five or six more copies, and then form your own study group around it because you know I agree with what you say is that you know the premise that life is a battle, and we create we gain victory through our faith and trust in in our Lord.

  But how do we maintain that spiritual intensity when we face struggles and hardships, you know, because they will come hard and that you know you can be going along and you're doing the study guide in this book and you're growing spiritually and you're growing personally, and then all of a sudden the the the Satan comes along and just whacks you upside the head, and you you've just taken 10 steps forward, now you're taking 15 steps back.

  How do you stay strong in your spiritual foundation during times of struggle?

  Great question, because and and so in the process of understanding that every day that it's not you that is Scott strengthening you as God transforming you.

  So if you understand kingship and lordship, and you understand that none of it is me, and it's all you got, that I can't do anything without you, trusting in this process.

  First of all, everything happens in the spirit, so your spirit man is being forged into semen.

  So when the battle does come, and when you get hit, what you will get hit, understanding I'm not perfect, God, your grace helps strengthen me and get me through this blow that just hit me.

  Knowing, Father, that this challenge that just came, that you allowed it to happen because you want to take me to another level.

  Father, you know, through my relationship with you, with you as my shield God in this situation, I'm being attacked.

  You will fight for me, you will war for me, and you will come for me.

  So it's learning how to hide under the umbrella of the Holy Spirit of the shield of God, knowing that He is the one stretching you, He is the one leading you every day.

  So it's not by your own power, it's not by might, it's not by power, but it's by my spirit, says the Lord.

  So when the challenges do come, learning how to hide in the spirit of God, and learning how to apply what you will through this book, Ephesians chapter six, verses 25 through 26, learning how to put on the whole armor of God, so you will not be knocked out, so you can withstand against the attacks and the wiles of the devil and the principalities that will come in just everyday life situations.
