  SPEAKER_00: And today I want to speak about your next story requires you to walk in obedience.

  SPEAKER_00: Because let me tell you something.

  SPEAKER_00: Each and every one of us have a story.

  SPEAKER_00: We have a story to tell something that happened in our life, how God seen us through, and here we are today ready to testify.

  SPEAKER_00: Because that test became a testimony.

  SPEAKER_00: So your next story requires from you your obedience.

  SPEAKER_00: You know, obedience is better than sacrifice.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we we don't get what we want, we don't see answer prayers because we do not walk in obedience, and we have to.

  SPEAKER_00: Let's go to the word of God today because without the word of God, none of these messages will be effective enough to transform, to change, and to make you feel better.

  SPEAKER_00: But the word of God is power, it is alive, it has the power to transform us from the inside out.

  SPEAKER_00: So let's go to the book of Romans, let's go to chapter 12, verse 2.

  SPEAKER_00: It says, Do not be conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

  SPEAKER_00: So that is powerful because it tells us very clearly do not be conform to the ways of this world.

  SPEAKER_00: You know, we see everything that's happening in this world, but we have to be different.

  SPEAKER_00: Be transformed by the renewing of our mind.

  SPEAKER_00: We gotta allow God to take over.

  SPEAKER_00: We often pray for a new season, a new walk while holding on to our old thinking, our old past, things that happened in the past, things that that made us discouraged in the past.

  SPEAKER_00: But sometimes, listen to this word very clearly.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes the next chapter in our lives requires growth.

  SPEAKER_00: The only way we're gonna grow is growing through what we go through.

  SPEAKER_00: Everything that we went through served for a greater purpose.

  SPEAKER_00: Like I said before, God may be taking you somewhere new, and the habits, the fears, the reactions, and the mindsets from the previous season may not serve you there.

  SPEAKER_00: So whatever you did in the past, however you reacted in the past, your character of the past, all that has to be surrendered to God, and we have to walk in obedience.

  SPEAKER_00: Obedience, you know, some of us say, Well, I walk in obedience.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we don't.

  SPEAKER_00: For example, we're driving a car, there's a stop sign.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we're in such a rush that we don't want to stop.

  SPEAKER_00: We want to pass the stop sign, go against what the laws of the uh of this earth is, the laws of the land, which is do not, laws of the government authorities.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we have a red light and we see the red light, but we want to pass because we're such in a rush that we don't realize what are the circumstances, consequences of what will happen when we pass the red light.

  SPEAKER_00: The same thing is in our spiritual life.

  SPEAKER_00: We want to walk in disobedience and we want God to bless us.

  SPEAKER_00: We want God to hear our prayers and we want it right away.

  SPEAKER_00: But obedience requires sacrifice.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes walking in obedience is not something nobody wants to do because you notice people don't want to submit, but we have to submit to the authorities, to the rulers, to leaders.

  SPEAKER_00: It's the only way we're gonna see the hand of God and the things working well for us for our own lives.

  SPEAKER_00: God may be taking you somewhere new, but he needs you to leave those habits from the past to the past, those fears from the past in the past, the reaction from the past and the past, and your mindset from what happened in the past to be left in the past.

  SPEAKER_00: Back in the days, I can say I lost my mind in many areas of my life.

  SPEAKER_00: Because I used to think it was an eye for an eye, two for a tooth.

  SPEAKER_00: I used to throw punches in the air, not realizing what I was fighting against was something I was not able to see with my eyes.

  SPEAKER_00: It was something that was not physical, it was spiritual.

  SPEAKER_00: When we start knowing that we are believers of Christ and we believe in God, we are here in this world for such a time.

  SPEAKER_00: God probably gave you 80 years.

  SPEAKER_00: Within those 80 years, what are you gonna do?

  SPEAKER_00: From the moment you get up to the moment that you expire.

  SPEAKER_00: What are the moments, what are you doing with your time?

  SPEAKER_00: Are you making your time worth it?

  SPEAKER_00: Are you putting the things of God in your life?

  SPEAKER_00: The Bible says that every tree that does not bear fruit will be cut off.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, you gotta be caught doing something good to represent God here on earth.

  SPEAKER_00: You can't possibly you think you're gonna live in this earth, you're gonna live your way, your way, all the highway.

  SPEAKER_00: It doesn't go like that.

  SPEAKER_00: We are here to do the will that the will of the Father here on earth, what God sent you to do.

  SPEAKER_00: Pray, have a communication with God.

  SPEAKER_00: And growth does not mean becoming someone fake at all, it means becoming more like the person God created you to be.

  SPEAKER_00: Allow him to prepare you for what comes next.

  SPEAKER_00: You know, we have children, we have to submit, submit all of us ourselves to God and pray over our children.

  SPEAKER_00: No matter what happens, pray over your spouse, pray over your life, pray over the people, pray over the ones that are lost out there, and we gotta take ourselves to that spiritual moment in life that we are closer and closer to God and that holy mountain, talking to God, allowing God to hear our concerns, allowing God to shape us in the areas that we know we need the most.

  SPEAKER_00: Because every one of us, we have an area in our life that needs to be submitted to God, and each day we gotta ask, God, allow me to be new in you, Lord, allow me to be different.

  SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm not here to please people, I'm here to please God, I'm not here to look back, I'm here to look forward, I'm not here to act the way the world acts.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm here to every day acknowledge that without God, I am nothing.

  SPEAKER_00: Without God, I am a lost person.

  SPEAKER_00: Without God, there's no hope for me.

  SPEAKER_00: But in knowing that I have a God who is powerful enough to transform my life each and every day, not to be perfect, because guess what?

  SPEAKER_00: I am not perfect.

  SPEAKER_00: The last time I checked, I am I have blood and I have skin, but I have to dominate what tries to dominate me, which is the flesh, and walk in the spirit of God and please God, because I'm here to please God and not man.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm here to let God know, God, each and every day that you have given me, I want to do something productive.

  SPEAKER_00: I want to do something that will make me feel good, you know, self-care.

  SPEAKER_00: In order for you to have a new story to tell, because every time we're gonna experience different stories in our lives, you gotta separate, and it requires your obedience.
