Laura: Man, they do not know how to I guess he just Irish goodbyes. Yes. It's so bad. And I'm like, well, mean, after a certain point you just give up on a new episode, but Right. I just kept hoping for a while. But yeah, he did it with both of his podcasts that he had. And there was this other comedian I listened to ⁓ and were like they I they dropped the one before their last one. They were like, Yeah, guys, we're gonna end it. So it was really nice. I was like, Okay, thank you. Like ⁓ Get some closure. no, we're back. ⁓ didn't leave. We're still here. And now a married woman. Yeah. Yeah. A lot happened in two weeks. Pass it. I mean, ⁓ you got ⁓ yeah, well that. And Thought you Disney wise. No. No. They're saving all that D ⁓ twenty three. ⁓ Yeah. is Coming up in about a month. We'll have a D23 recap episode. But yeah, today we're just gonna kind of life catch up and we're gonna talk about Honey Glow Woods. Valley's first action pack. Is that what it's called? An action pack? No. What's it called? I don't know. But action pack doesn't sound right. It's A. Adventure pack. Adventure pack. Okay. Okay. Dreamlight Valley's first adventure pack. My apologies. apologies. do we wanna talk about like I don't know. Well we're gonna do like life updates, but yeah. Well I married, we went on an Alaskan cruise, not Disney, which is sad. We did see the Disney Wonder at one of our ports, ⁓ and was like, I wish it could be my ship. And I took a picture almost told Morgan. I was like, take a picture in front of me like this is harsh. I didn't, but I did get the clearance to book a Disney cruise ⁓ some point in the future. I've tried to already put that deposit down and I get a no. So I don't know what's going Well, it's twenty twenty seven right now. Yeah, for twenty twenty seven. But we're gonna push it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. When those dates open up. Yeah, but you know. Need a one year anniversary cruise. Yeah. Well, and he said he loved cruising. So he loves it. Yeah. Sure, as it gets closer. Or maybe Yeah, he's not a big planner planner. So like me, I'm like, okay, well let's just go ahead and do it. Yeah. He'd rather I guess wait. I don't know. Mm-hmm. Well, I mean it's a long way off. So I guess I kinda get it. Also you just got back. Yeah. Even though we've been planning future Disney trips on our Disney trip. I there's nothing wrong with No, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it. ⁓ Not all. It's just how we live our lives. It is, it is, it is, it is. what else? I don't know. I feel like nothing happened and well we went on vacation Yeah went on a vacation. And your cousin's going to Disney World? Yes. When are they going? September. Okay. Can't remember the exact dates. Still gonna be hot. They're going it's gonna be hot. I told her it's gonna be hot, but it's not gonna be like dead of summer. No. And honestly that's probably a decent time to go 'cause like how old are their kids? Seven and four. They pulling one out of school? Yes. For a week? Unless he has a break randomly. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. also, don't know if I should say this on air, but found out that ⁓ Kaufman County judge doesn't like see truancy cases. Or he doesn't Pursue truancy cases. like B D Yeah. Well, thing is like if you want to take a family vacation, then screw you. ⁓ that's the thing. You'll get the letters, you'll get the stuff, but like it's never gonna go. Now I'm sure it were like severe, right? But or if there were some sort of CPS involved. Right. Yeah. But yeah, I'm not worried about it. I'm sure they're not worried about it all the way up. They're in Missouri, but anyway. Yeah, I'm excited for them. They're going to they're staying at Grandflow. I know. And like she told me that I was like, you would be. You would be. You can just tell the people that do, don't can't you? Like when my cousin went, I was like, Of course that's y'all wanna stay contemporary. Like that, that's No, but like I also well, they they have no experience with it. Like they have no point of reference. So like he's booking all of this. And she's just kinda going with it. Do they need help? No, they have a they have an agent. Okay. But like he's working with the Disney agent. And she's just kind of, I guess to get that commission. I guess. ⁓ also, if ⁓ if you tell someone like that, like that was also my cousin's thing, where like they were like, We have no frame of reference. We don't know, especially we have a two year old We don't know how it's gonna work. And they were like, we want to stay somewhere convenient. I was like, okay. Yeah. That's what I told her. I was like, you're gonna be on the monitor. Like, it's gonna be really easy to get anywhere you need to go. Anyway. You'll just legit have to ride a bus to Hollywood Studios and ⁓ Animal Kingdom. it's not, you're not yeah, it's convenient for sure. Yeah. But those prices. I know, but he was also like. Well, he's he's starting a new career. Okay. And so he's like they're I don't know, I guess like one last hurrah type thing, like not really, but like before he has to buckle down. Yeah. Kind of thing. That's what it seems like. I mean, that makes sense. So that makes sense. Yeah. But they'll have fun. That's me. was thinking about sending them a candle. Like the one you got me, 'cause I love my candle so much. Can you smell it? Yes. Well, I have to put it kind of close to me, but Yeah, I think that's the issue. Well, I had mine on earlier and I felt like I could smell it. Mm-hmm. So I don't know. I mean I think honestly though, I kinda like it because it's not like so overpowering and then like Like some candles are. Right. Yeah. So the candles I got I got me one and I got Lindy and I got Olivia one. are from Main Street Melts Candle Company. They have a website, but I also just got them on, yeah. People who I don't know how they do it. They make it smell exactly I'm like, because I'm like, there's another with the Riviera. Like I'm I'm there. I'm at Topolinos now. Like ⁓ mind me. I it so much. But it also kind of makes me sad. I'm like, I wish I was there. No, they're And they have all sorts of they have a lot of them. They have like pirate. they probably can't Call it pirate water, but it's something well I got Olivia. Hers is no, she was looking for Fiji smell. Uh-huh. So I got her that one. But no, they had one. yeah, they call them something different because it's copyright and stuff like that. But yeah, they do have a pirate one. They had a they had some interesting scents. Yeah. Yeah. They had a main street popcorn one, and then I almost bought it for you, and then I was like, I don't know if that'll translate well to a candle. I would love to try. So I'm gonna But like have you smelled like artificial buttered peasants? Yeah, I know. I know. I don't know. Yeah. we got totally off the We did, but we're kinda just ⁓ I said I was gonna I was thinking about sending the candle. But you could ⁓ the grass. Also we like crashed their house for like three days. So Are y'all did? Kind of. I mean we hung out there a lot because there wasn't really a meeting place. ⁓ a central area. But y'all stayed in your own hot hotel. So Yeah, they'll do that in That's fun. And I I told her, I was like, let me know if you need suggestions. I don't know how involved this agent is going to be or is. ⁓ Right. mean good agents are normally like pretty good about that kind of stuff. Yeah. Right, right. Yes. I think it'll be fine. No, I think they're gonna do I can't rem I know they're taking at least one rest day. that's good. Maybe two. I would definitely reach out and tell them, especially with littles, to do because how old's the youngest did you say? I sugg four. I suggested they like maybe if they, you know, they could go into the park later one ⁓ or more days. they could go. ⁓ If they wanted to get there early, they could get there early, but then take a break at the resort and then go back later if they wanted to. So I would suggest if they like for that Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios Day, they don't want to do that to definitely do like reserve a lunch. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Nice long break. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yep. Just indoors. but yeah, going to Magic Kingdom. mean, you could go change a diaper at your resort from you know, mm don't even have to use the Right. So nice. Must be nice. Must be nice. Mm-hmm. Must be. But yeah. But other than that, we have not really done much. So Okay. Okay. Chilling. Chill and we started back to school shopping. ⁓ fun. Boring. I got my planner. yeah. She wants so Disney has this like pink bow wallpaper. ⁓ and it's super cute. I bet it's after it's like probably from Marie from the Arista Cats. Well be. But there's also it says Disney princess, but so like there's a castle in there. ⁓ yeah. There's like all sorts of different little I think ⁓ So is there a pink one? There's Rapunzel's flower. yeah It's really cute. That's it I really need And there's a blue I know there's a blue and a pink, yes. And I need the pink. I know you need the pink. I need it. It's gonna cost us an arm and a leg, I bet, but that's okay. ⁓ anything for Sadie. else? I don't know. Yeah, school shopping's fun. I saved a ton. I caught a good sale at Old Navy and I got really excited. So that's how you know you're like peak adulting. But Yeah, Old Navy does have a good sale going on. ⁓ my gosh. Well as well it's over now. But yeah. I can't use I saved like over a hundred dollars on schools. shirts and skirts and stuff. That is nice. Well, ⁓ some Disney News that kind of Disney news. The Skylight calendar came out with their little Disney, what's it called? Like Disney Mode. Disney mode. I don't have a Skylight calendar. ⁓ have the fake version up there on the wall. Do you want to know ⁓ picked what? ⁓ I'll tell you everybody's wait, can I guess? Let me guess. Let me guess. So you get a character. ⁓ Now they don't have. near all of the characters. Okay, then let me look up the different all the skylight okay Disney mode characters and then I will choose who got what. But yeah, I love it. They have like the screensaber. You can like there's different images that come across the screen. else do they I think there's like different animations. Like okay so there's always been animations like if you get all your tasks done. Mm-hmm You check off that last one and it'll be like hooray or whatever, and then like random stuff will fall. But like it's been like what would stars or smiley faces. And Stitch doing that. But in no, but in Disney mode, yeah. It's Stitch doing stuff. He's like dressed like his Hawaiian outfit or whatever. what were the other ones? ⁓ flowers. Yes, flowers. your Mickey one was well, you haven't done all of it. Right? just random. Yeah. ⁓ it's it's tailored to I think it's tailored to your character too. Yes. I think the other thing that may be it though. I don't know. These are some Are those all the Disney mode features? No, I can't remember what they They are. And then yeah, you can assign your avatar. Your little mm-hmm. Let me see. Okay, so the available avatars are Mickey Minnie Donald, Moana Elsa, Olaf, Woody Buzz, Stitch, Ariel Rapunzel, Darth Grogu, Chewbacca, Iron Man, Black Panther. She's gonna guess which one we Yeah, I'm gonna guess. ⁓ okay. Well, she knows what. She might not have heard. I actually wasn't listening, so I don't. So she's gonna guess. He was like, okay, fine. Yeah. Yeah. So that was fun to pick. And then I don't know. I think they like there might be other little fun graphics in there somewhere that you haven't really explored. Yeah. Well. But it's fun. That's good. And you need one. Morgan when he comes out here. Cause he was like, I he was watching me do stuff in my planner today and he was like, Do you remember that little calendar we got for the fridge? And I was like, Yeah, that still says September. I threw it away today. And then he was like, and then you got that thing that we don't use. And I said, I use it. I add stuff to it. And I'm an app. There's an app, but only one of us can log in at a time. That's so dumb. Right. It was also $80. I was like, I use it. I put my stuff on the Google Calendar if and it automatically uploads. So it works for me. but can't add stuff without me logging out and him logging in. So Nah, that's not ideal. Like what's the point of having a family calendar? Yeah, well there's just two of us, so we'll see. ⁓ all right. Well let's get into our Honey Glow Woods. Okay. Honey Glow Woods is an adventure pack. you got, if you already have the game, you get 2,000 moonstones. And we talked about this last time. If you don't have Disney Dreamlight Valley and you wanted it, you could get Dreamlight Valley and Honey Glow Woods and 10,000 Moonstones. So lame. of feel a little bit. Yep. it starts off the first thing you do ⁓ you have to put your ever the what is it called? Yeah, the little seedling thing. Somewhere in your valley. Somewhere in your valley, and then you grow it and it like automatically grows. It doesn't take time. No. And then you go in ⁓ and have to it's just to me it's just a D ⁓ like a smaller version of a DLC. It feels more like a realm the way you go into it. The way you go into it, but everything that you do inside of it. Right. Right. Is just but like we have Alice's little portal thing that was yeah but you just in our valley. Yeah. I know I'm just saying. Yeah. No, I like the portal. I like how they did it, how they introduced it. I like what we being in it. I haven't been back to my valley since I've gotten it. And I officially have Piglet. And I always forget that Piglet is a boy. was it is it Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet? Yeah. Okay. So yeah, I'm definitely not very far, but ⁓ okay. I've wanting to focus on the Hercules star path. Yeah, I need to well, ⁓ once unlocked Pooh, once you unlock Pooh, you can unlock all of it. Mm-hmm. So it's just resources, right? Essentially, like gathering. Yeah. All the stuff you mean? So once I did that, Hercules now comes with me because I'm on the last task, which is having him be at a level ten. Okay. So ⁓ I think he's at a level nine. I think I just leveled him up tonight. ⁓ so I just have him coming around with me and doing all my stuff. but then I have to do all the side quests. But I you can do the side quests ⁓ Honeyglow Woods. Are the routine duties. That's what they're called. Right. The routine duties in Honey Glow Woods because they're like talk to five people. Well, people can roam around Honey Glow Woods now, so can talk to ⁓ there. Yeah. So it's not bad. I'm obsessed with Pooh. I love the way he runs. He like waddles. I know. And then when you take a picture with him. Yes. It's just the cutest thing ever. And he are so cute too. I love Really? Yes. Anyway. I'm gonna try to work on it more than Trying play more tonight. Yeah. just did the I'm at the the thoughtful spot. And now so I finished that and then I have to go talk to him again. So I'm on part three technically, I think. So yeah. There I'm assuming is the bridge, is the little stick bridge getting you don't do stick bridge until you get your okay. Well maybe I'm about to get ERO then. Now you have to open up. Gloom something to get your. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, what am I working on with poo then now? Have you been in the tree? Yeah. Okay. Wait. I don't remember. I don't know. Maybe there's a there's trees inside the inside of Honey Glow Woods. Okay, maybe not. So you have to go into these trees and do little quests there too. It's like puzzles. Okay, then no, I have not. Okay. So yeah. That's probably what you're gonna be end up doing next. I like the hedgehogs. Mm-hmm. I'm remembering to feed them. So I'm not as you go catching up like I ha like I have to with the other critters. Yeah. I mean I don't know. It's just I so far I like it. I mean I know I'm not very far in it, but a lot of people have been complaining about it and I we paid how much? Seventeen, sixteen, seventeen dollars for it and they're complaining that it didn't take them long. Like ⁓ not a full DLC. Right. It was an adventure pack. Right. It like you get you got what you paid for. Right. I mean Also if you w why'd you pay for it? If you don't want. If you Exactly. Exactly, Sadie. I was gonna p I was gonna buy no matter what just to get Pooh, Piglet, and Yorn. Right. Because duh. They're cute, yeah. Now I'm done in there, am I gonna move their houses back to the valley? Most likely. Right. Yeah. But then what do I have to do with that tree? Also I don't know. Or do I move Tigger's house? Right. That would make more sense. Right. Because once they're leveled up, how many times are you going in their houses? ⁓ True. I just like having ⁓ little towns. Yeah, yeah. But I am having a hard time planning everything out right now because I have a lot of houses. So yeah, they can I guess they don't they can stay. And we can move Tigger up there. And we're gonna keep getting characters in the main valley. True. I mean we could I guess we can move them anywhere, but I don't know. I've never really moved anyone out of where they've been. I don't I played that game like and then I got bored. So and it's just a demo, so I'm not sure how y'all are still playing every time you come over here. What did the gambling mean? It means I just bought it to try it instead of paying full I didn't even buy it. I just downloaded like a free version instead of playing the full version. Yeah. Because I didn't want to pay for it if I didn't like it. know. I let's what else about Honey Glow Woods? The bees. I like little bee the honey, ⁓ what are called? Honey stations? Can't remember. But I like them. Yeah. My f I feel like my flowers die more. Is that was that in the No, and that's what someone said. They were like, I feel like this DLC was just for people that were having trouble drying out their flowers and collecting those, like so they could water them to collect those flower memories. And I was like, I mean, maybe. But I I don't know. I don't think that much about it. Yeah, they definitely they dry out and then you have to rewater them to get them to make more honey. But I can will we be able to upgrade those? Because I can only get six honey at a time. Okay, see, I know there are you can have multiple. Right. I just don't know how to make it craftable yet. You can't and I still can't craft it. I think I finally have the third one in Piglet's little area. But I think there's four areas in Honey Glow Woods. There's where we found Pooh, then you go to Gloom something, which is where you find Eeyore, and then you go to the the either the brave something or the scared something where you find Piglet. And then I want to say there's a fourth little land. Okay. So I wonder if you have to unlock the full Like have to get hit in credits to be able to craft it. Hmm. Okay. Well, it looks like there are four ⁓ for I saw this tip. It says but it's like a b it like tells you how to position it. Right. But I couldn't move mine. I once I got because I wanted to do that. Once I got Eeyore's, I wanted to move it into Pooh's area and it wouldn't let me. mean this is they're right beside each other so Yeah, but did they hit the credits? I don't know. Maybe maybe. That's what I think's happening. Probably. But Yeah. let me think what else? I don't know. I just I mean overall I think it was I don't mind it. Yeah. For seventeen dollars. Yeah. There's not like an overwhelming amount of stuff to although I don't fully understand the honey thing, but I'm sure I'll get there. What honey thing? Just all everything that you can do with it, I guess. You can do anything with it. Well it's craftable and it's edible. Edible. Yeah. The ⁓ what is the elixir for? You have to it's kinda like So do you remember in I remember it more in Eternity Isle than on any other one where you had to like craft the special stuff to make those spingies go away and you had to add it to your shovels? You had to add it to your tools so your tools can those things away. Okay. We I remembered in the storybook veil too with the mushrooms. You had to add a certain elixir to the watering can. So they're kinda like that. Okay. So once you add them to your tools, you'll be able to clear some of the stuff. Got it. Yeah. I think I was just getting ahead of myself because I was too because I kept trying to clear things and I'm like, do that yet. Yeah. I like it. I like it. quality of life update we got. I'm assuming you got it on the regular switch too was the maps. Yes. ⁓ my gosh, I audibly gasped. I was like, I it so much. Yes. So much. There was something else too, but now I can't. I don't know. I'd have to pay more attention next time. I just like quickly like glanced at it and was like, ⁓ cool. And I yeah. We're getting a new event. Yes. The picture one. Yeah. Have we done that one before? The picture pursuit scrabb scavenger hunt runs from July 15th to July 28th. villagers will send you quests to locate hidden motifs and areas in the valley to earn new selfie frames and other rewards. no. Okay. Scavenger hunt. Yeah. I like that. I can do that. Yeah. And then what's our next? When's our next what's it? Star Path. Somebody said, ⁓ well, it'll be Hercules ends in what 15 days, I think. Mm-hmm. So it It? Are we is Yeah, I think so. Because we were supposed to get Wreck It Ralph or Ralph at the end or in July. And somebody was like, why don't we get Wreck at Ralph? And they were like, It's still July. Yeah, it says expected in late July alongside Ralph. While the specific theme hasn't been officially named yet, players are speculating an arcade retro or internet inspired theme. Ooh, that'd be fun. Yeah. so Game Loft has already scheduled two more free updates featuring seasonal star paths for September twenty-sixth, which is Bat Spooky, and then December twenty-sixth, which is winter holiday. See, but to me. ⁓ They're doing it okay, September one is fine October. Mm-hmm. But the Christmas one ⁓ coming out after Christmas. They did that last year, didn't they? Or it was like really close to Christmas. Where it was like now I'm not even in the Christmas mood. kinda dumb. They should do it in November. Yeah. But I don't know how I don't know. But they're those would be too close together. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I guess Halloween's more important to Disney. I mean it kind of makes them more money. I mean I get it. sure. And is great. But I do like Christmassy things. I do too. Or my valet. Over Halloween things probably. What? But well. I like and Christmas. Yeah. what do you like? I like Christmas better than Halloween. Woo! Maybe we'll remind you. Also, something we didn't talk about, Moana came out and people said it was good. Really? Which irks me a little bit. We're gonna say a live action from a movie that came out in what 2016. And we it's copy paste. Yes, that's why they like it. I don't I like the live actions that have a little bit more difference to them. And depth and changes. Like hot take, I didn't mind the Mulan live action. nothing like the mo the animated movie. Yeah, don't know. I I'm gonna wait till that one comes to Disney Plus for sure. to me it's just like That was one that I I don't really care about seeing live action. Now I'm sure rock like Maui in person is great, but I just I don't know. I think I made the comment probably on here that it just all seems too CGI'd ⁓ to be considered live action almost. Yeah, which what people have an issue with with a lot of the live. Which is why I didn't like Lion King that much. Yeah. 'Cause that was You're like, Okay, it's not animated, but it's not live action. Right. Maybe we need a new category, I don't know. I new CGI film. That's funny. Well this isn't Disney, but did you hear about Sam is it Sam Neal? Sam? Yeah, the Jurassic Park actor who passed away. Yeah. Sad day. I know. was sad. I told Nick I came out I we were working. I was like, you have to watch Jurassic Park and Memoriam. He was like, what? No, that was not Actually I didn't say the movie. I said we have to watch a movie in Memoriam and he said what which one? And I said Sam Neal. And he's like Bum Bum Bum B because is one of his favorite songs. And I'm like, You are a weirdo. But like it he just like can hum it at any given time. I mean, that's great though. So he needs to take a trip to Universal, it sounds like Yeah. I do remember. I remember that ride. We went to Universal Hollywood when I was younger. And that Jurassic Park ride was so legit. They have a new one. Well, I'm sure they d I'm sure it's a million times better. I remember it being so good. It was. I do like I did always like that one. ⁓ yeah, there is a newer one. That's the I think is what it's called. Yeah. Crazy. Crazy Red. Is that the one people were like dying on?
