- 2:00Speaker 1: I made mine. I'm gonna have to go back and
- 2:02Speaker 1: change one, I believe. Yeah, yeah, they're going to have
- 2:06Speaker 1: to go back and change one.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Don't tell me.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I'm not going to tell you, but I I was
- 2:11Speaker 1: looking at the spread. Which question was Michigan and Oklahoma?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Are you want to you want me to pick that game?
- 2:20Speaker 5: Oh?
- 2:20Speaker 4: I'm just saying that is my question. Game of the week.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Oh that's the game you're not sure of? Yes, Michigan
- 2:25Speaker 1: and Oklahoma. Yes, Yeah, that's a tough one.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Good games this week, I will say this, Yeah, Uh,
- 2:31Speaker 1: some Southwest Conference games Oklahoma doesn't lose much at home
- 2:35Speaker 1: as bad as they bed. Yes, their home record is
- 2:38Speaker 1: really good.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Well, I mean they lost Alabama last year at home?
- 2:41Speaker 1: They did, No, they didn't. Oh, no, they beat Alabama.
- 2:44Speaker 1: They lost to somebody bad I thought at home. No,
- 2:49Speaker 1: that was at Tennessee, Okay, so maybe they didn't. I
- 2:52Speaker 1: don't know. They just have a really good home record.
- 2:55Speaker 1: No matter what kind of team they've had over the years,
- 2:58Speaker 1: they won at home. Yes, so hard game to pick.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that was my question.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I don't know how good Michigan is.
- 3:05Speaker 4: I don't know either.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I heard somebody talking today that they think they're pretty good,
- 3:08Speaker 1: but I haven't. You know, I didn't watch who they play,
- 3:11Speaker 1: doesn't matter. I didn't watch them play, so I don't know. Yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 1: I just think Kansas and Missouri is the game of
- 3:17Speaker 1: the week. I like this Kansas team. I really liked
- 3:22Speaker 1: their quarterback. I was kind of underwhelmed last week. I
- 3:27Speaker 1: did see enough of the Missouri and they were playing,
- 3:30Speaker 1: you know, a directional team. You know. They eventually pulled away,
- 3:36Speaker 1: you know, and I know it's a first game, so
- 3:38Speaker 1: they started pretty slow and they.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Controlled Kansas second game, wasn't it?
- 3:43Speaker 1: This will be no, no, no, no, no, no no.
- 3:45Speaker 1: This will beat Kansas second.
- 3:46Speaker 4: I State playing Kansas State.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I was stay in Kansas State, played in Ireland in
- 3:51Speaker 1: Ireland Oka and Kansas. Kansas State barely won last week
- 3:56Speaker 1: they had to come from behind in the last seconds
- 3:57Speaker 1: to beat North Dakota.
- 3:59Speaker 4: I wouldn't get no.
- 4:00Speaker 1: That was not good. And I don't think that quarterback's
- 4:03Speaker 1: very good.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I just you know, it was good last year.
- 4:06Speaker 1: He was better last year, but he hadn't so far,
- 4:10Speaker 1: he hadn't been very good. Avery Johnson hadn't been very good.
- 4:13Speaker 4: So you got the you got to buy you bucket
- 4:15Speaker 4: this week, and it's a Skillett for the last time, right,
- 4:18Speaker 4: But SMU tc is next. These are the last times
- 4:21Speaker 4: for both of these, aren't they.
- 4:22Speaker 1: For a while? Apparently? Yeah, I didn't know Houston Rice
- 4:25Speaker 1: were quitting. I think they are. You're probably right, Uh,
- 4:31Speaker 1: you're probably right. I don't know why it shouldn't happen.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I still don't know why SMU and TCU aren't playing.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I don't think was it TCU one of them canceled,
- 4:41Speaker 1: one of them didn't want to play. I think it
- 4:43Speaker 1: was TCU. I think it was sunny. Uh, just as
- 4:48Speaker 1: SMU is getting good funny about that?
- 4:51Speaker 4: Wait, how about how about them good?
- 4:53Speaker 1: How about the Bill Belichick game Monday night? Oh that
- 4:58Speaker 1: was brutal.
- 5:00Speaker 4: That wasn't good.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Now, that was not good. I mean that was horrible.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I mean you you can talk about those seventy new players,
- 5:14Speaker 1: but Dion did that too, right, Yeah, and it took him.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I mean his first year wasn't good.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Well, I mean that first game was good.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Yeah, they beat TCU the first game that got hopes up.
- 5:25Speaker 1: But look, this was just man, this just looked like
- 5:30Speaker 1: a very poorly coached football team.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I mean, Mac Brown was better than this last year,
- 5:37Speaker 4: wasn't he?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he was six and five maybe, wasn't he.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I don't think he had a losing season last year.
- 5:44Speaker 4: I think he had a winning season until they told
- 5:47Speaker 4: him he was going to have to.
- 5:48Speaker 1: You may be right. How about Max Johnson, though, that's
- 5:52Speaker 1: a great story.
- 5:54Speaker 4: I didn't really until they showed what they did with
- 5:57Speaker 4: the surgery house.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Oh my god, it looked like they and they said
- 6:00Speaker 1: he almost lost his leg. Yes, it was so bad, right, Yes,
- 6:04Speaker 1: I don't know how he's back in a year. I
- 6:07Speaker 1: mean I really, literally, I that is remarkable that he
- 6:11Speaker 1: came back in a.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Year, but why did he play him?
- 6:17Speaker 1: Well, after watching that other quarterback, I don't know why,
- 6:20Speaker 1: because apparently it went down to the end between him
- 6:24Speaker 1: and the other kid. The other kid was horrible, horrible
- 6:29Speaker 1: and after first drive again, the first drive where you're going,
- 6:33Speaker 1: oh my gosh, you right, and it's same TCU defense.
- 6:37Speaker 1: This is you know, I mean, it was just crisp clean,
- 6:39Speaker 1: like six plays something like that, and then it was just,
- 6:44Speaker 1: oh my gosh, that was ugly. Did you think they
- 6:47Speaker 1: quit or they're just terrible.
- 6:49Speaker 6: I think they're terrible.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean fumbling the ball as they did not?
- 6:57Speaker 4: They did not.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I saw a thing about Suddy. Apparently apparently there are
- 7:04Speaker 1: other college coaches and I don't know who those coaches.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Are, who are upset who just walked into this.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Correct who upset that that belt not only walked in
- 7:14Speaker 1: but was saying, well, you know, this program is going
- 7:18Speaker 1: to the top, you know with this guy, but Tom
- 7:21Speaker 1: Rady ain't coming back. Apparently that was that was just
- 7:25Speaker 1: really ugly.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Well I think that.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And by the way, I was really impressed. And again
- 7:35Speaker 1: it's North Carolina, but that TCU quarterback you can't fake
- 7:38Speaker 1: that are he was impressive josh Us, Oh my gosh,
- 7:43Speaker 1: And I saw idea. You may have seen it too,
- 7:46Speaker 1: which I kind of liked. And I point this out
- 7:49Speaker 1: because he had this. It was an early season, preseason
- 7:53Speaker 1: news conference or something like that, and they asked him, hey,
- 7:56Speaker 1: why didn't you transfer, because apparently he had a lot
- 7:58Speaker 1: of offers, right, like most decent quarterbacks have a lot
- 8:01Speaker 1: of offers. His answer was, I promised my teammates when
- 8:05Speaker 1: I got here that we were going to compete for
- 8:09Speaker 1: a Big Twelve championship, and I'm not going anywhere. And
- 8:13Speaker 1: I love that because you figure, given what quarterbacks are
- 8:17Speaker 1: making these days, and I don't know what TCU's paying,
- 8:20Speaker 1: I don't.
- 8:21Speaker 4: I'm sure they're paying comper I'm sure.
- 8:22Speaker 1: They're paying okay, but you got to figure the guy
- 8:26Speaker 1: maybe could have made more money right somewhere else, yes,
- 8:28Speaker 1: in this day and age. So I was just I
- 8:31Speaker 1: just thought i'd throw that out. I really liked hearing that.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So we're going to see. I don't know if TCU
- 8:38Speaker 1: is any good. I know the Big Twelve is not
- 8:40Speaker 1: very good. So the team I saw Monday night certainly
- 8:42Speaker 1: is good enough right now to compete you know, near
- 8:46Speaker 1: the top of the league, especially with that quarterback. And
- 8:49Speaker 1: they've got they've got other players, they just don't have
- 8:51Speaker 1: a quarterback. They've got a couple of players on that team.
- 8:55Speaker 4: So who had the best weekend that used to be
- 8:57Speaker 4: a quarterback at A and M King? You think your
- 9:02Speaker 4: Saints King?
- 9:03Speaker 1: He's I like, hats King Man. He still can't take
- 9:07Speaker 1: care of the football and he's still not a great passer. No,
- 9:10Speaker 1: but he is a warrior. He is a warrior. I
- 9:14Speaker 1: love watching him, I really do. And and I think
- 9:19Speaker 1: that team feeds off him and they did last year,
- 9:22Speaker 1: which is the reason they were able to take Georgia.
- 9:25Speaker 1: How many overtimes it was?
- 9:27Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 9:27Speaker 1: Yeah, uh.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Was good. He wasn't no Kentucky. He was like ten
- 9:35Speaker 4: of thirty.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Is that his fault or is that just a stoops offense?
- 9:41Speaker 4: I don't know. I saw some parody with Dusty was
- 9:43Speaker 4: showing me. He's like, yeah, trying to be Iowa now.
- 9:47Speaker 1: He's trying to be Yeah. I like that. Yeah, I
- 9:50Speaker 1: did like that. Uh so, yeah, because so calls out
- 9:54Speaker 1: it wasn't good. No, didn't they end himup a quarterback
- 9:57Speaker 1: at Sam Houston?
- 9:58Speaker 4: No?
- 9:59Speaker 1: No, Okay, thought the other tracks.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Mick Johnson did better than I thought he could do.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, even mop up. He was at least hitting receivers.
- 10:08Speaker 1: That's something the other that's the other kid couldn't do. Yeah.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Hit his brother for a touchdown. That was pretty fun.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Yeah, his last touchdown was.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Here, right was his brother?
- 10:17Speaker 4: Yes?
- 10:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that was cool. That was that was pretty cool.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Uh okay, So of the other games going on right now,
- 10:27Speaker 1: uh Baylor s m U Baylor. Uh Baylor looked like
- 10:36Speaker 1: a Big twelve school against the Nacy SEC school the
- 10:41Speaker 1: other night, right, Yeah, line of scrimmage, I don't think.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I still don't think Auburn's real good. I don't I
- 10:48Speaker 1: still don't think that kid could throw the ball. He
- 10:49Speaker 1: can run the ball, I don't think he can throw
- 10:52Speaker 1: the ball.
- 10:53Speaker 8: Uh.
- 10:53Speaker 1: So, I don't think they're that good. But it was
- 10:57Speaker 1: just the difference in the line of scrimmage is kind
- 10:59Speaker 1: of what stood out, you know, from start to finish.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought I thought, uh, Virginia Tech held hung around.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Too long, and Virginia Tech is uh we picked that
- 11:11Speaker 1: game for the Prague. This week they're playing at home
- 11:16Speaker 1: against Duke maybe or at Duke. Okay, maybe I thought
- 11:22Speaker 1: Virginia Tech looked pretty good. I thought they had some
- 11:25Speaker 1: pretty good players actually, and that was a that was
- 11:28Speaker 1: a I, in my mind, the hardest hitting football game
- 11:32Speaker 1: that I watched over the long weekend. Those two teams
- 11:36Speaker 1: just pounded each other. They pounded each other. There was
- 11:41Speaker 1: a lot of hitting going on. And again, don't know
- 11:47Speaker 1: how good Virginia Tech is, but but South Carolina defensively,
- 11:53Speaker 1: they've you know, and that's that was the worry, because
- 11:56Speaker 1: they lost a bunch of NFL talent right well.
- 11:58Speaker 4: When the when the defensive then went down with that injury.
- 12:01Speaker 4: For a little bit, you had a lot of people
- 12:04Speaker 4: in South Carolina panicking on what that was?
- 12:06Speaker 1: This this just in okay, Matt, this just in the news.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Uh uh p. The Texas Rangers of Moss at the
- 12:27Speaker 1: Arizona Diamonds two to nothing this afternoon. So okay, where
- 12:35Speaker 1: were we We're talking Virginia Tech talking about South Carolina.
- 12:39Speaker 1: South Carolina, we know the quarterback can play. My my
- 12:45Speaker 1: my question marks were frankly both lines of scrimmage because
- 12:49Speaker 1: I lost some players. Uh and and we'll see again.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I just I don't know how good Virginia Tech is,
- 12:55Speaker 1: so we'll you know, and to me, Scott, that's we
- 13:00Speaker 1: talked about this at the game Saturday. I don't know
- 13:04Speaker 1: about a lot of these teams, right. I think I
- 13:07Speaker 1: know some things about these good teams, right, but we
- 13:12Speaker 1: have to I have to have more data right before
- 13:16Speaker 1: I'm saying, well this is this is what's going to
- 13:18Speaker 1: happen or or this team is this or this team
- 13:21Speaker 1: is that. I know LSU look really good, you know,
- 13:25Speaker 1: because I'm just looking at the athletes, right, I'm looking
- 13:27Speaker 1: at the defense because it was horrible last year. I
- 13:32Speaker 1: picked Clemson.
- 13:33Speaker 4: I only have a game where I gainst a real
- 13:35Speaker 4: team where they only allowed ten points. I don't think
- 13:38Speaker 4: last year.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I mean no, I don't think so their defense got
- 13:41Speaker 1: lit up, but they've got dudes, and uh uh, you know,
- 13:46Speaker 1: I picked Clemson because of k Clubnick because I you know,
- 13:50Speaker 1: he's a really good quarterback and they really held him
- 13:53Speaker 1: in check on last week. And uh I picked against
- 13:58Speaker 1: Garrett Nusmeyer and he was really good. He was really
- 14:02Speaker 1: in the second half especially, he was really good.
- 14:07Speaker 4: And you know it was that game only seventeen to ten.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Because I did not watch any of that game.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Well, I think I think the defenses both had players
- 14:14Speaker 1: you know, Clemson was a top five defense going in
- 14:16Speaker 1: right that the question mark was LSU because, like you said,
- 14:20Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know how many points a game
- 14:22Speaker 1: they gave up last year, but it was a lot.
- 14:24Speaker 1: They had a lot of holes all year long, and
- 14:27Speaker 1: they've had a lot of holes for two years under
- 14:29Speaker 1: Brian Kelly. But they were very impressive. They were very impressive,
- 14:34Speaker 1: and they were just athletes. Those two teams did not
- 14:37Speaker 1: disappoint me, by the way. That was the game you know,
- 14:40Speaker 1: besides Texas and Ohio State that I was really anxious
- 14:43Speaker 1: to see, and they did not disappoint. Either team did
- 14:47Speaker 1: not disappoint me. I just I think they're both. These
- 14:51Speaker 1: teams are good. You know, they're very good. Florida State man,
- 14:59Speaker 1: they looked like they've got some dudes. They look like
- 15:02Speaker 1: they went out and spent some money. Now again, but
- 15:04Speaker 1: the Columbell is terrible.
- 15:06Speaker 4: The quarterback got fired at Boston College last year.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Okay, but again, you know, he was really good on Saturday, so.
- 15:13Speaker 4: He was and they're gonna be good. They play East
- 15:16Speaker 4: Texas A and m Uniting in common.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Did they play a team you have their schedule, When
- 15:20Speaker 1: do they play a team.
- 15:21Speaker 4: They play at Virginia the last week in September.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Virginia's okay, I don't think they're great. They're okay, host Miami,
- 15:27Speaker 1: what is that the next week in October? In October, first,
- 15:31Speaker 1: first week in October. Oh, circle that one, circle that one.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I still think Mario is going to screw something up.
- 15:38Speaker 1: And he almost did this last week, right, I mean,
- 15:41Speaker 1: he lost track of how many timeouts were left at
- 15:44Speaker 1: the end of the game. That surprised him, you know,
- 15:47Speaker 1: he he gave up a two touchdown lead because he
- 15:50Speaker 1: went into a shell offensively the whole second half until
- 15:53Speaker 1: they finally had to go down and score. So I
- 15:56Speaker 1: still think he's gonna screw this team up. It's a
- 15:59Speaker 1: good team. They have got NFL players on that team.
- 16:03Speaker 1: That is a good team. But I have no confidence
- 16:07Speaker 1: in the head coach to to get that team to
- 16:10Speaker 1: the finish line.
- 16:11Speaker 4: But okay, so a em commerce Kent State, Virginia at Virginia,
- 16:18Speaker 4: Miami at home, Pittsburgh.
- 16:19Speaker 1: They should win the next three easy. They Shodford at home, Okay.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Wake Forest at Stanford.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it doesn't matter.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Wake Forest at home, Okay at Clemson, Virginia Tech at
- 16:35Speaker 4: home at Inza State and Florida at Florida. So you
- 16:40Speaker 4: have like two two and a half game.
- 16:43Speaker 1: So they play, they play Florida Miami, Florida.
- 16:45Speaker 4: Miami Miami game. Miami is at home.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Okay, so they're hosting Miami, They're going to Clemson and Florida. Okay,
- 16:53Speaker 1: so those are three really tough games.
- 16:55Speaker 4: But that's it.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Okay, that's fine. But those are three really hard games, right, yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 1: And you throw in Alabama, and I don't know what
- 17:02Speaker 1: Alabama's going to be, I don't I think they look
- 17:04Speaker 1: eight and four, seven and five to me right now,
- 17:06Speaker 1: but we'll see. But you throw that in, and that's
- 17:10Speaker 1: a resume. I mean, I don't care what league they're
- 17:12Speaker 1: playing in. That's a resume. Okay, So they're going to
- 17:15Speaker 1: have the resume. They don't have to play SMU right right.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Who else is who's good in that league? I don't know.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I mean you've already mentioned, right, Clemson.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Don't play Notre Dame. They're not gonna take a Hickey
- 17:30Speaker 4: against Notre Dame, right, you know, the only three ranked
- 17:34Speaker 4: teams they have left are Miami, Clemson in Florida.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Okay, Well, let's you know they can make a run. Yeah,
- 17:43Speaker 1: they have a shot to get a lot of momentum
- 17:45Speaker 1: and get you know, everybody's already excited as a great crowd,
- 17:49Speaker 1: you know, really good crowd. So you know, we'll see,
- 17:55Speaker 1: we'll see he needs it. Yeah, yeah, uh, he needs it.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Florida has the Their schedule is just brutal, right, I
- 18:06Speaker 1: mean we don't know what they can do yet because
- 18:09Speaker 1: they they were, you know, with a directional Long Island.
- 18:14Speaker 4: So listen, Long Island doesn't even get to be a
- 18:16Speaker 4: directional school. I know, I didn't even know about Island.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I didn't either. I didn't either. How about this? So
- 18:24Speaker 1: after hosting South Florida Saturday, right, they're at the.
- 18:29Speaker 4: Goals play good this weekend?
- 18:32Speaker 1: Then it yes, they're at LSU at night, okay, on
- 18:38Speaker 1: the thirteenth. That is followed by at Miami. This is
- 18:44Speaker 1: Florida's schedule. They have an open date on the twenty seven,
- 18:48Speaker 1: they host Texas, they come to A and M. They
- 18:53Speaker 1: have the Georgia Game of course in Jacksonville. November first,
- 18:58Speaker 1: they're at Ole, Miss on the fifth. Then they host
- 19:01Speaker 1: back to back Tennessee and Florida State.
- 19:05Speaker 4: They play more ranked teams in October than Florida State
- 19:08Speaker 4: plays this year.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean their schedule is just awful. I mean
- 19:15Speaker 1: it is awful.
- 19:17Speaker 4: So backup quarterback look pretty good though.
- 19:22Speaker 1: The backup Yeah, I didn't see the backup.
- 19:25Speaker 4: It was like ten of twelve for one hundred and
- 19:27Speaker 4: seventy five yards.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I think I quit watching at that time. Yeah, I
- 19:30Speaker 1: think I'm pretty sure i'd quit watching that game by then,
- 19:33Speaker 1: So I didn't. I didn't see.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Well, it's important about the back Oh, you got that right.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I mean you're you're very correct, because backup quarterbacks you
- 19:43Speaker 1: better have one. Yeah, I mean you better have somebody
- 19:46Speaker 1: come in and play, for sure. I'm trying to see another.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I'm I think Dusty and I have already talked about this,
- 19:59Speaker 1: and Loly is well. I don't know why I didn't
- 20:02Speaker 1: pick Georgia to win the league. I did pick them
- 20:04Speaker 1: to play for the championship. Did you pick the league Alabama?
- 20:09Speaker 1: Which which is in line with how I picked games
- 20:12Speaker 1: this this first weekend.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Sometimes Simpson can play quarterback.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I did, and I'm still not. I'm still not saying
- 20:18Speaker 1: he can't play quarterback. He didn't have much help. I
- 20:21Speaker 1: got to tell you that he didn't have a lot
- 20:23Speaker 1: of help and this, Oh my gosh, I saw it
- 20:26Speaker 1: wasn't McElroy. It was another former Alabama quarterback. Today. He
- 20:32Speaker 1: was all over Ryan Williams. And how Ryan Williams does
- 20:36Speaker 1: not run routes right at all? He said, I was
- 20:39Speaker 1: on the sideline for that game. I'm just talking from experience.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I watched everything he did. Now he got dinged up, right,
- 20:45Speaker 1: he's in concussion protocol protocol right. And last year he
- 20:51Speaker 1: was very uneven. You know, he can make other worldly plays,
- 20:54Speaker 1: but it was very uneven. Right. And the other thing
- 20:58Speaker 1: this quarterback was saying is I'm looking at him. I
- 21:02Speaker 1: don't see that he has gained one pound of muscle,
- 21:06Speaker 1: I mean one one inch of strength. I mean he
- 21:08Speaker 1: was just all over it.
- 21:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:10Speaker 4: But I thought kind of the same thing about Xavior Worthy,
- 21:12Speaker 4: and I ain't thinking that now when he's playing for
- 21:14Speaker 4: the Chiefs.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, obviously he's got talent. I don't think
- 21:18Speaker 1: anybody's saying he doesn't have talent. No, I'm just saying,
- 21:21Speaker 1: you know, this guy is.
- 21:22Speaker 4: But anything that was just said right there, is that
- 21:25Speaker 4: any different from Xavier World?
- 21:26Speaker 9: Well?
- 21:27Speaker 1: What I what I didn't know about Xavier Xavier Xavier
- 21:31Speaker 1: Worthy was he played with a broken hand the last
- 21:34Speaker 1: half of the season, right, which explains a lot because
- 21:38Speaker 1: he dropped a lot of passes. Right. Knew he could run, Yes,
- 21:42Speaker 1: we know Ryan Williams could run, no doubt. Right, we
- 21:45Speaker 1: know Mario Craver could run. Yes, So, but that debut
- 21:51Speaker 1: for Craver was impressive. But I told you, and I
- 21:55Speaker 1: asked you the question Lumpy recruited him. If Lumpy was
- 21:59Speaker 1: still a missip state, where's Craver? Yeah, no, your response
- 22:03Speaker 1: was good at and M No, he's he's catching a
- 22:06Speaker 1: lot of balls.
- 22:07Speaker 4: And but he's catching.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean again, I just want to see and
- 22:15Speaker 1: these and you can't hide the athleticism. I just want
- 22:19Speaker 1: to see him against better competition, right, I mean, and
- 22:21Speaker 1: and again they're obviously really athletic. Uh, But they caught
- 22:27Speaker 1: the football Conceptio caught it with his hands, right, cra
- 22:32Speaker 1: went down and got that.
- 22:33Speaker 4: I understand that.
- 22:34Speaker 1: But he had a concept over the middle, correct, Yeah,
- 22:39Speaker 1: And I said, it's been a while since we've seen
- 22:42Speaker 1: that around here, right, And we've been looking for that
- 22:45Speaker 1: dude that go up and make the kind of catch
- 22:48Speaker 1: that the kid at at Miami made at the end
- 22:53Speaker 1: of the game, Right, catch.
- 22:56Speaker 4: He damn touchdown. No, I'm saying he was at l
- 23:00Speaker 4: right and didn't even have Touchdow didn't have.
- 23:01Speaker 1: A touchdown, which is kind of amazing. But that was Yeah,
- 23:06Speaker 1: that was phenomenal. Right, But look, if you're gonna win
- 23:10Speaker 1: those big games, you you you have to have a
- 23:13Speaker 1: guys that make those big plays right at the right time.
- 23:16Speaker 1: You have to.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Yeah, because the guy from Notre Dame is like, I
- 23:19Speaker 4: may be taking this back ninety five yards the other way. Yes,
- 23:23Speaker 4: He's like, I'm like, this is right there. This is
- 23:26Speaker 4: not gonna be caught right, I'm gonna I'm gonna pick
- 23:30Speaker 4: this off in stride yep and run it a long time.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean that was I mean that was a
- 23:36Speaker 1: game winning catch. It could be a season winning catch.
- 23:39Speaker 1: We don't know. But I don't think we're going to
- 23:41Speaker 1: see a better win this year. I don't know how
- 23:43Speaker 1: you see a better catch in that. Ah, that's a
- 23:45Speaker 1: first game, I understand. I don't know how you're going
- 23:48Speaker 1: to see a better catch just the first game. Chip
- 23:51Speaker 1: you know that the weekend is not quite like last weekend.
- 23:56Speaker 1: It's not trumpeted quite as much. But I do think
- 24:00Speaker 1: there's some I do think there's some good games around
- 24:03Speaker 1: and I think there are some games worth watching, and
- 24:06Speaker 1: I do think we'll have a little better idea about
- 24:09Speaker 1: some of the teams this weekend. Right, Not the.
- 24:14Speaker 4: League still win the SEC still went fourteen and two.
- 24:17Speaker 1: They took care of them.
- 24:18Speaker 4: But Chip, they took care of their business in those games.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Except for Kentucky. How they were supposed to win those games.
- 24:26Speaker 1: And they were twenty four to nothing at one time
- 24:28Speaker 1: and then had to hang on. Right, Yes, they were
- 24:31Speaker 1: up on Toledo twenty four to nothing, But I mean
- 24:35Speaker 1: I think Kentucky's Kentucky. I don't think we're surprised at that. Right,
- 24:39Speaker 1: I'm anxious to see Oklahoma against better competition this weekend
- 24:44Speaker 1: because I don't know what they are.
- 24:45Speaker 4: I think Venables will put out a defense that can
- 24:48Speaker 4: confuse Underwood. Yeah, I mean freshman quarterbacks, second start.
- 24:53Speaker 1: You expect, you expect a few good athletes on the field,
- 24:57Speaker 1: right for for Michigan, So you know, I don't. But
- 25:03Speaker 1: the question is the question is what is that five
- 25:05Speaker 1: point game or something like that, or take.
- 25:07Speaker 4: The question is can this guy from Tier can he pass?
- 25:12Speaker 4: Is it that Washington said people don't understand how bad
- 25:15Speaker 4: the schedule Washington State was forced.
- 25:17Speaker 1: And which I said, but but you know again he
- 25:23Speaker 1: threw the ball well, but it was just pitch and
- 25:24Speaker 1: catch again, you got I want to see him against
- 25:28Speaker 1: a team.
- 25:29Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. He didn't even do that last week, though.
- 25:31Speaker 1: He did okay, I mean he threw three or four
- 25:34Speaker 1: touchdown passes. I mean he didn't throw for seven hundred yards.
- 25:38Speaker 1: They didn't run the ball. I will say that, you know,
- 25:41Speaker 1: they they did not run the ball, which you'll be
- 25:44Speaker 1: looking for. You know, because Michigan is usually pretty stout
- 25:47Speaker 1: right up yest and defensively.
- 25:49Speaker 4: So that's why Texas impressed me two years ago because
- 25:53Speaker 4: they ran the ball. I mean last year.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Against Michigan, against Michigan, right, they ran the ball well,
- 25:59Speaker 1: I would argue, they ran the ball against Ohio State.
- 26:02Speaker 1: They had like one hundred and sixty hundred and seventy
- 26:03Speaker 1: yards rushing against Ohio State.
- 26:05Speaker 4: Right then, why didn't they win?
- 26:07Speaker 1: They didn't run enough? I think my inside the five,
- 26:11Speaker 1: that's my opinion.
- 26:13Speaker 4: All right, they left the quarterback you had to run.
- 26:16Speaker 1: We'll talk to you Maxwell.
- 26:17Speaker 4: I'm a US Open champion. Last week, did you watch
- 26:19Speaker 4: any of Djokovic last night.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I did. Yeah, I watched some of it. Did you
- 26:24Speaker 1: stay up.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Till the end?
- 26:25Speaker 1: No? No, I knew it was in the fourth set.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I mean I knew. I knew that Fritz had won
- 26:32Speaker 1: the third the third set, right, I did know that,
- 26:35Speaker 1: But no, I did not stay up watching, but half
- 26:38Speaker 1: I couldn't. It's a long day yesterday. Talk to you
- 26:41Speaker 1: next week. We'll see you then, all right, Destination Brian.

- 27:11Speaker 1: from Kyle Field. I didn't do it last week. I'm
- 27:13Speaker 1: thinking about doing it this week if I go to
- 27:15Speaker 1: the game, Game Day on Maine. Plus Fiestas Mexicanas coming

- 30:08Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 30:09Speaker 1: It's been a minute. A minute. Uh, It's not like
- 30:15Speaker 1: we haven't tried, but there's been extenuating circumstances for a while.
- 30:19Speaker 5: It's like it's like you try to get rid of me,
- 30:21Speaker 5: but you just couldn't.
- 30:23Speaker 1: I could not and can't. Man, we have lost a
- 30:27Speaker 1: lot of celebrities since we last talked. But I'm not
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm not going there. I'm not going there. I'm I'm
- 30:36Speaker 1: I'm starting with a really heartwarming story.
- 30:41Speaker 5: Oh what a change.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Naked Gun co stars Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are
- 30:50Speaker 1: the latest focus of Hollywood romance rumors.
- 30:54Speaker 5: Honestly, I love that.
- 30:58Speaker 1: The A listers behind the eighties and nineties action franchise
- 31:02Speaker 1: reboot appeared on the Today Show with Craig Melvin, who
- 31:07Speaker 1: bluntly asked the duo if they were dating. What's the
- 31:12Speaker 1: deal here? The episode was aired this morning. Red Carpet Action, Passionate,
- 31:19Speaker 1: Onscreen Kiss. You're both single right now? There's clearly chemistry
- 31:24Speaker 1: on display throughout this film. Are YouTube an item? Nison replied,
- 31:30Speaker 1: crag and Anderson Coyle equipped what I don't understand the question.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Neison then told Melvin I had never met Pamela before
- 31:45Speaker 1: we met on set. We discovered we had a lovely
- 31:50Speaker 1: budding chemistry as two actors. He added, their approach was like, oh,
- 31:56Speaker 1: this is nice. Let's not mold this, let's let it breathe.
- 32:01Speaker 1: And that's what we did. Nisan, you'll recall, was married
- 32:10Speaker 1: a long time to Natasha, who died. Wow, it's been
- 32:17Speaker 1: sixteen years ago. It's been sixteen, two thousand and nine.
- 32:22Speaker 1: That is not even possible.
- 32:26Speaker 5: Whoa hold on, I was not ready, that's crazy.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Sixteen years that's crazy. Now. Pam of course, has had
- 32:37Speaker 1: a plethora of pals Tommy Lee, Ken Rock, Rick Solomon,
- 32:45Speaker 1: Dan Hayhurst. She's a four time loser, so.
- 32:51Speaker 5: You know what though he is good though.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, maybe, you know maybe, I mean.
- 32:58Speaker 5: It might have taken her some time.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, it's hard for me to believe
- 33:03Speaker 1: that there's fifteen years a part in age for them, right, Yeah,
- 33:12Speaker 1: I mean I knew Liam was seventy three. I mean
- 33:14Speaker 1: that doesn't surprise me. I mean, I didn't know that,
- 33:17Speaker 1: but it doesn't surprise me.
- 33:18Speaker 5: Okay, No, that one makes sense.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Yeah, Pamela is fifty eight and it seems to me
- 33:24Speaker 1: going on seventy. But I could be wrong about that.
- 33:27Speaker 5: Okay, Well, it's because she's taking a step back from
- 33:31Speaker 5: wearing makeup and stuff like that.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Well, she no, I'm not. I don't care about that.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I kind of like that. I don't I don't need
- 33:37Speaker 1: you know, all of that.
- 33:38Speaker 5: She's doing the whole natural thing.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Well, good for her, because you know, for about for
- 33:44Speaker 1: about forty years, she didn't do that.
- 33:46Speaker 5: So exactly, so she just went from one extreme to another.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Well, we wear shows kids the best.
- 33:53Speaker 5: I feel like they could have just said yes but
- 33:56Speaker 5: not really cryptic.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Yeah. Long, I think it's just marvelous. Yes, yeah, yeah
- 34:03Speaker 1: you guys. Good for you, Yeah, you guys.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Also, I love naked Guns, so hopefully.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know how much hold I have for this.
- 34:13Speaker 1: You know, I've seen I've seen the trailers, and some
- 34:18Speaker 1: of some of them are funny. Uh, some of them aren't.
- 34:22Speaker 1: I mean I like Liam and I kind of yes,
- 34:26Speaker 1: and I kind of like that, you know, for because
- 34:29Speaker 1: Naked Gun used a lot of that. Airplane used a
- 34:32Speaker 1: lot of that, you know, serious actors, and I liked
- 34:36Speaker 1: that part. But man, Leslie Nielsen was just so funny.
- 34:40Speaker 5: Yeah, it's hard. I think it's just it's always hard
- 34:42Speaker 5: to beat the original with most of you know, you
- 34:45Speaker 5: get it right, you get it.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Right, you know, yeah, leave it alone.
- 34:50Speaker 5: Well, speaking from one one group of love birds maybe
- 34:54Speaker 5: to another. Tom Cruise, and I'm going to butcher her name,
- 34:57Speaker 5: but that's what I do.
- 34:59Speaker 1: And Anna de Armas said, Tom Cruise, are you are
- 35:06Speaker 1: you kidding me? What is she thinking?
- 35:14Speaker 5: Well, she's thinking that she's going to confirm their romance
- 35:20Speaker 5: because they were on a weekend getaway together and they
- 35:22Speaker 5: were holding hands shipsh I know. They escaped to Vermont,
- 35:30Speaker 5: which is not where I was apparently, but yes, Vermont
- 35:35Speaker 5: after going to an Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium in London,
- 35:40Speaker 5: arriving early Saturday and the quaint town of Woodstock, possible
- 35:46Speaker 5: star and ballerina actress did a lot of couple of
- 35:49Speaker 5: things in the town. They drove through a national park,
- 35:52Speaker 5: went shopping and then stopped for ice cream. Well that
- 35:55Speaker 5: just sounds lovely.
- 35:56Speaker 1: That is so lovely.
- 35:59Speaker 5: Walk hands is a stroll through?
- 36:02Speaker 1: What is she thinking? What is she thinking?
- 36:09Speaker 5: I mean, oh god, I don't know.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Maybe she needs to get out now before she's never
- 36:17Speaker 1: heard of him again. No blowsers. I just like her,
- 36:27Speaker 1: I mean I like her. She can act. But Tom Cruise, man.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Maybe she's maybe she's just maybe she is a great actress.
- 36:39Speaker 5: But maybe She's just very strange in real life. Aren't
- 36:42Speaker 5: a lot actors.
- 36:43Speaker 1: She would have to be? She would have to be.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I'm just telling you, Oh my goodness, gracious, Well, do we.
- 36:51Speaker 5: Want to talk about Diddy? We haven't. I mean, well,
- 36:53Speaker 5: we haven't been here in a while.
- 36:54Speaker 1: But we haven't. He's still in jail, right? Is he
- 36:58Speaker 1: still in jail?
- 37:00Speaker 5: He is still in jail, and his legal team is
- 37:02Speaker 5: again arguing for his release from the federal prison, nearly
- 37:06Speaker 5: two months after he was acquitted of the most serious charges.
- 37:10Speaker 5: So he wasn't acquitted of all, so why he's still there?
- 37:13Speaker 1: Correct?
- 37:14Speaker 5: According to legal documents, Comb's lawyer asked judge, I don't
- 37:18Speaker 5: even know. I couldn't even begin to pronounce that guy's
- 37:21Speaker 5: name on Tuesday, July twenty ninth, today, so today sorry.
- 37:28Speaker 9: To release Combs on a fifty million dollar bond and
- 37:33Speaker 9: allow him to live in his Miami mansion instead of
- 37:37Speaker 9: the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits sentencing
- 37:41Speaker 9: in October.
- 37:42Speaker 5: I think it's wonderful that he stays there until October.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Though.
- 37:48Speaker 5: The twelve person injury on July second convicted the Bad
- 37:52Speaker 5: Boy Records founder on the two of the minor counts
- 37:56Speaker 5: of transportation to engage in prostitution. Jurors found Combs not
- 38:00Speaker 5: guilty of racketeering, which was the big that was the
- 38:03Speaker 5: big one charge, and sex trafficking and it's sweeping, nearly
- 38:07Speaker 5: two month trial.

- 38:16Speaker 1: including including an anonymous an anonymous one just called Jane,
- 38:22Speaker 1: call her Jane.
- 38:23Speaker 5: And then Cassie of course, probably the most popular star witness.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Now she's the one, she's the one he knocked out
- 38:30Speaker 1: and drug buyer hair into the elevator. Correct on tape,
- 38:33Speaker 1: We've got that on tape.
- 38:34Speaker 5: Well, yes, there is one video of that happening. I
- 38:37Speaker 5: can only imagine.
- 38:38Speaker 1: How many times that exactly exactly or who else.
- 38:42Speaker 5: He paid off and just wasn't it wasn't able to
- 38:45Speaker 5: get on.
- 38:46Speaker 1: As as as a concerned American, I believe he needs
- 38:50Speaker 1: to stay in prison as long as possible.
- 38:56Speaker 5: Well, in his mac sentence could be ten years now
- 38:59Speaker 5: usually that right. I don't think that's probably gonna happen
- 39:02Speaker 5: in this case, unfortunately.
- 39:04Speaker 9: But would it was time that he's behind bars.
- 39:08Speaker 5: It's probably good for a lot of people.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Wow, Luke Bryan appears to have been struck in the
- 39:15Speaker 1: face by an object while he was performing this last
- 39:20Speaker 1: weekend in North Dakota the State Fair.
- 39:24Speaker 5: Hedn't mean to stop throwing stuff on stage.
- 39:26Speaker 1: He was singing country Girl during the State Fair in
- 39:29Speaker 1: min Not when he was hit in the face. Footage
- 39:33Speaker 1: recorded by a fans shows him stagger as he momentarily shocked. However,
- 39:40Speaker 1: he maintained composure, took a brief moment finished the song.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Didn't address the incident on stage or social media. USA Today,

- 40:17Speaker 5: A new trend that's been happening more than not.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Why would you pay harder money to go and throw
- 40:24Speaker 1: something at somebody that's singing on stage.
- 40:27Speaker 5: Chip, I don't have to tell you this because I'm
- 40:29Speaker 5: pretty sure you know. But there are a lot of
- 40:31Speaker 5: stupid people in this world. There are a lot of
- 40:34Speaker 5: stupid people, a lot of stupid things.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Yeah, they're right, you're right on them. I feel like
- 40:43Speaker 1: it's our job most every day to point them out
- 40:45Speaker 1: to people as well.
- 40:47Speaker 5: Hey, it's a pleasure, Yeah exactly.
- 40:50Speaker 1: This is why we're here. One of the one of
- 40:54Speaker 1: the celebrities you know that died while we're gone was Ozzy.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Black Sabbath fans will get to honor him in a
- 41:03Speaker 1: funeral procession in his home town Birmingham, England, tomorrow morning.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Osbourne's body will travel in a hearst accompanied by a
- 41:16Speaker 1: brass band head to Black Sabbath Bridge, where thousands of
- 41:23Speaker 1: fans have already paid their respects with flowers and tributes.
- 41:27Speaker 1: A live stream is available online. You know he died
- 41:34Speaker 1: just weeks after reuniting with Black Sabbath and their final
- 41:37Speaker 1: show in July the fifth. You know, I've been battling
- 41:42Speaker 1: Parkinson's disease, which rendered him unable to stand or walk
- 41:47Speaker 1: without assistance. The UK procession will take place ahead of
- 41:52Speaker 1: a private family funeral, which is yet to be disclosed.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Osborne's family is covering the cost of the procession Tomorrow.
- 42:03Speaker 1: A statement shared saying that he died in Birmingham surrounded
- 42:08Speaker 1: by love. Sharon, of course, wife of over forty years,
- 42:13Speaker 1: daughters Jessica, Amy, Kelly, sons Elliott, Lewis and Jack. So
- 42:22Speaker 1: that's a lot of kids, I don't.
- 42:24Speaker 5: I always forget he actually has multiple kids, and not
- 42:27Speaker 5: just Jack and Kelly.
- 42:28Speaker 1: He does obviously, not all of them by Sharon, but
- 42:34Speaker 1: they were on and off together forty years.
- 42:37Speaker 5: Yeah. I think two are actually adopted too.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Okay, so okay, I think I.
- 42:41Speaker 5: Read that summer you know, they should wait until dusk
- 42:44Speaker 5: and we're just release bats.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Oh that would be nice. That would be a realognice touch.
- 42:52Speaker 1: I like that.
- 42:53Speaker 5: Thank you. Yeah, I'm here. That's what I am. I'm
- 42:56Speaker 5: just a factory of ideas.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Hey, let's go.
- 42:59Speaker 5: Don't usually get y up. Well, I'm about to really
- 43:04Speaker 5: dumb myself down because I can't pronounce this guy's last name,
- 43:09Speaker 5: and I should be able to because of who he is.
- 43:11Speaker 5: But Katy Perry and.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Justin Trudeau, Justin Trudeau.
- 43:17Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, they're hanging out, chip in weird couple news.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Now. I honestly, when I saw this, I said, well,
- 43:27Speaker 1: that's the former prime minister's son. But no, it's not.
- 43:30Speaker 1: It's the former prime minister.
- 43:33Speaker 5: It's the former prime minister.
- 43:36Speaker 4: How does that?
- 43:38Speaker 1: I don't know you know as soon as as soon
- 43:40Speaker 1: as the news comes out that Katie and Orlando are
- 43:44Speaker 1: broken up, he's on his He's on his phone to
- 43:47Speaker 1: his assistant, going get me Katy Perry on the phone.
- 43:50Speaker 5: Stat It turns out he's a ginormous Katy Perry fan.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I don't know, Katie.
- 43:57Speaker 5: This is weird.
- 43:57Speaker 1: This is a former prime minister Trudeau. Do you want
- 44:01Speaker 1: to be an item? I mean, how does this happen?
- 44:08Speaker 5: I have no idea, but it is. So. They were
- 44:15Speaker 5: seen eating in a neighborhood restaurant. Okay, I'm not going
- 44:18Speaker 5: to pronounce it, so I'll mess it up. The duo
- 44:19Speaker 5: met with chef Danny Smiles during dinner and headed to
- 44:24Speaker 5: the kitchen after their mealed to think the staff.
- 44:26Speaker 12: Wow.
- 44:27Speaker 5: They enjoyed cocktails and several dishes, including one that featured lobster.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Well, duh.
- 44:34Speaker 5: The rep for Katie has not commented, So there's that.
- 44:40Speaker 1: I mean, we just we just got word before I left,
- 44:43Speaker 1: like in June, right, that that Katie and Orlando had split.
- 44:48Speaker 5: Right, Yes, that was in June.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Okay, all right, and this is one month later?
- 44:55Speaker 7: Wow?
- 44:56Speaker 1: Okay, yes, well more power to them now. I believe
- 45:02Speaker 1: this is correct, as well, Katie and Orlando were never
- 45:05Speaker 1: officially married, correct, They.
- 45:09Speaker 5: Were just engaged and they do have a daughter together.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Okay.
- 45:12Speaker 5: I think he also did the same thing with his
- 45:14Speaker 5: formal former baby mama too. Of course they were married.
- 45:18Speaker 5: They might have gotten married.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Now I've got more couple news. You know. Yesterday many couples.

- 46:00Speaker 1: a video series documenting his recovery released by his son
- 46:06Speaker 1: Dion Junior, who has a media company. Sanders was in
- 46:11Speaker 1: a relationship with Tracy Edmunds for over a decade. In
- 46:16Speaker 1: December of twenty three, they called off the engagement. Edmunds
- 46:21Speaker 1: wrote on Instagram they had mutually decided it was best
- 46:25Speaker 1: to move forward as friends. Tran was in a tumultuous
- 46:33Speaker 1: relationship with Chris Brown. Has any woman ever been in

- 46:45Speaker 1: And she had also been linked to, of all people,
- 46:49Speaker 1: Robert Kardashian. How do these people find each other? That's
- 46:55Speaker 1: just that's just always amazing to me. I mean, how
- 46:59Speaker 1: do they get together? Like, how did this actress and
- 47:05Speaker 1: Dion Sanders get together? I mean, I can't wait to
- 47:09Speaker 1: hear that story.
