- George Dovolis: Most people think 63 is the beginning of the end. But our guest tonight turns into beginning to the second act at 60 he became a millionaire. Guys, welcome back to Together. We are stronger, leadership straight, no chaser. We have a very special guest tonight. And this gentleman here is just amazing. It's David Nassief and David, know, tell us what you've been through. Take us back when you were 63 years old, the day that you were released from your job. And what was your first real thought when that happened? David Nassief: Well, like you say, George Scott, by the way, thank you for allowing me to be on your program today. I 63. I just got fired after 18 years with the same company. I would not wish that day on anybody. Here's the worst. Here's the part that I, it's difficult. I did the math and if we drained all of our savings and all of our retirement, we would be broke by 65, the age that most people like, okay, good, it's time to retire. We'd be like out of it. And so I'm thinking to myself, who's going to hire me at my age? But you know, that wasn't even a hard part. The hardest part was driving home thinking, how am I going to tell my wife, Mary, we'd been married for 30 years and she did not deserve the mess I just threw our life into. I felt like the biggest loser. So anyways, after about two months of dead-end job searching and it was like I was searching for another corporate job, but my heart wasn't in it. I just I just couldn't go back to the corporate world, but I feel I had that I we had to put food at the table. I just couldn't just sit back and read. So anyways, I decided to take a huge risk and I went to work as independent sales agent on straight commission. No salary, no safety net. The first months were absolutely brutal cold calls, constant rejection, rookie mistakes. No, no, no, I can't tell you I'm going to nose. ⁓ But you know what the funny thing about this was that rejection I got I believe was the resistance I needed to build the mental muscles I needed to get through that because after 10 months of grinding I hit an incredible milestone I was suddenly making more money than my good paying corporate salary and for a brief moment I felt like we made it but then reality said it I said wait a we didn't make nothing I still haven't learned how to invest I still not saving it I says this we're gonna go back in the same field. This I can't do this again. And so I got real serious. I dug down. I read 21 financial books. I read 13 podcasts. I listened to consistently on finances, blogs, podcasts. I everything down on one piece of paper. ⁓ says if I can't get on one piece of paper and simplify it, I can't put it on here because ⁓ don't have time. I have a company to run. I got to get my company going. Keep it going. And so I did it. ⁓ piece of paper. Set and forget it. Six later. I'm hit an incredible milestone from terrified of being broke to a seven figure portfolio and real financial freedom. Scott and George, I now know it is never too late to rewrite your story because if I could pull it off at 63, anybody can with the right direction. I truly believe that. George Dovolis: Amen. Wow. That is just truly incredible. mean, that to go back to really kind of go through what you went through and really had to sit down and talk to wife and go through things, know, pick it up the phone call guys. It's not the easiest thing to do. It's, know, so many nos, but a few yeses. Let me ask you this, at the moment, you're scared about everything, the money, identity shift, the whole works. mean, you were overcoming things. So on your business, what was the key factor that really got you up every day to push forward? David Nassief: Well, first of all, I had no plan B. It was this or nothing. There was no corporate, when I interviewed for those corporate jobs, you know what, here's the feeling I got from the people that interviewed me. Why should we hire you when we get people half your age with a third of the cost of you are? And it says, and they would say, how can someone like you give ingenuity and new thinking to our company? You it's you're over the hill, buddy, forget it. They were polite, but I could see them. So there was no plan B. It was that or. curl up in a quarter and just die I guess. don't know. But here's the thing. This is what made it even more difficult which I didn't tell you. I had failed twice starting my business in my and one of them was a huge six-figure debt. And I had scars guys. This wasn't like well I'll try something new here and maybe I'll know see this is work. No I tried it before it didn't work. I tried it a second time it didn't work. ⁓ But the thing that kept me going. I said I have scars but I learn lessons. George Dovolis: Hmm. Hmm David Nassief: I know what I did wrong back then and I know what kind of mistakes not to make again and I was smarter this time and I really felt like I had a fighting chance here because I wasn't going to That was an education that six figure education. It cost me in debt, but it was an important one. And then when I started seeing that flywheel pick up speed after about the eighth or the sixth or seventh month, I saw like I'm going to do this. This is going to work. I didn't think it was going to be as big. It was, but it did. And that's what kept me going to answer your Scott Brandt: So it's very, it's interesting when you talk about that David, because you went from corporate, which has that structure to a commission style job. if worked commission, you know it's your effort, it's your drive, it's up to you on what you're gonna get put on the table. Going from like a structured piece to ⁓ a that, hey, you have to build this, ⁓ what? What's that mindset shift for you really to jump from the corporate structure to commission-based where it's like, here you go, figure out the structure because this is not corporate where we kind of give you a playbook and say, hey, this is what you're gonna do. Commission-wise, you've got to figure that out and see what works and see what doesn't work for you. David Nassief: Well, it was difficult. My corporate job was a six-figure income, so it was a pretty decent job. Back then, was six figures. And so the point is, those first few months, guys, I made nothing. I I put more hours than I ever did in the corporate world, and I made nothing. mean, OK, maybe a $200 commission for the month, you know, or three hundred. Because nothing was happening. it was just like I remember, you know, I'm the type of when I go to bed, my head hits the pillow, I'm down. But I remember waking up in the middle of the night thinking. George Dovolis: Hmm David Nassief: We have no money coming in, but we have the same exact bills. The utility company didn't give us a break. The water company didn't give us a break. know, the worst. And I'm thinking, how am I going to... If you want the worst thing, my wife one day, before I got this started by the company, this is like about a week after I lost my job. She said, honey, can you go to the store with me? Because there's a big sale. I want to save us some money if I can. And so I went. It was a discount store. I get there. I thought I was the only guy there. All ladies and babies in the car, it's crying. And I was waiting for my wife. George Dovolis: No. David Nassief: end of the counter and I'm thinking to myself, what am I doing here? I should be out there working, providing for my family and I'm sitting in this place and I never felt so helpless. I felt like I had a sign on me, Biggest Loser. And I just, I mean that feeling of, I mean I wanted to break out but how do I break out? There's nothing to break out too. It was like, it was very frustrating and very difficult. George Dovolis: You know, sometimes we go on these journeys so we can speak and teach others what we've gone through and how you can overcome. What was the biggest misconception people have about wealth building in the 60s? You know, being 60 years old, the misconception of that. David Nassief: Well, the biggest misconception is... that age has something to do with it because it really doesn't. I, I, there's not an I am living proof that it's never too late. And I don't care if you're I mean, Colonel Sanders started his thing in his 60s to another. There's plenty of examples like this. It's not about the calendar. It's about inside here in the drive. And I had real drive because I was my family's livelihood was on the line. I was not going to go to a charity. I was not going to go to the government. There's no way I was going to have George Dovolis: Mmm. David Nassief: that happen. I just wouldn't allow it. just wouldn't. And I'll tell you, Simplicity was really a key here. I just share with you briefly what inspired this one page compass? Because making money is really good, but you've got to learn how the investing part is another key ingredient here. so let me tell you, the scientists at the Max Planck Institute did an experiment. They placed people in the center of a dense German forest and they told them walk in a straight line to the edge. Now these were confident and capable people, but when the clouds covered the sun, the GPS tracking showed George Dovolis: Mm-hmm, please. Yes. David Nassief: They were gradually starting to walk in circular motions. Some of them were ending up right back where they began and yet every single one of them was convinced they were walking in a perfectly straight line. George and Scott, that's exactly what I was doing for 40 years. Working hard, making decent money, feel like was making good decisions, but just end up going in the same circle for 40 years. And here's the deal. Here's what I found out at the end. If you don't have your own plan, you're part of somebody else's. For 40 years, I was part of somebody else's plan. Look where it got me on the edge of financial ruin on the cliff. And I says, no more. I'm making my own compass. It's not going to be like a physical type. It was a one page compass and it's going to direct me. And that thing kept me on a path that kept me going in the right direction. And that's that really helped me a lot tremendously actually. George Dovolis: Mm-hmm. Scott Brandt: So with the one-pager that you've created, like you said, you read books, you listen to podcasts. How did you figure out kind of what the ideal thing was to put on your compass that you were creating? Because I would think there'd be so much information that you're trying to figure out, okay, what is it? And it kind of allows you to kind of figure out and say, okay, I'm gonna go with this set here. as I'm tracking, if it's not working, let me see what I need to get rid of. George Dovolis: Mmm. Scott Brandt: and then let me see what I need to add. But I think a lot of people have overwhelm. They get so much information. for yourself, what was it that really said, okay, this is what I'm gonna stick on here, this is what's gonna make it simple because when you talked about simplicity, I was gonna ask how did you figure out one page, but when you had talked about it being simple, the simplicity thing, ⁓ page makes it very simple. But then how did you figure out exactly what needed to go on there? that was going to help you get to what you were trying to achieve. David Nassief: Hmm. That's a great question. Let me just share with you. You're right. People get overwhelmed really quickly. And it's I did too. And what with the one page what it forced me to do is I kept having to distill, distill, distill. I have to. OK, this is more important than what I one thing I have on there. It's the other ones go. I'm sorry. You I kept distilling to the most important stuff. What is the absolute critical things? And I kept taking stuff out and putting more effective, more direct things in. And let me tell you, the results of that deal because it's important to understand what happened. It wasn't like one day I my fingers. Over a six year period, my portfolio doubled three times and I wasn't day trading, I wasn't chasing crypto, I wasn't trying to the market, I was actually doing the opposite of that. I was doing something so boring it would put you to sleep. I developed a system that the crazy thing is when the market was down, I was thrilled. When other people were panicking and selling, I was buying more shares at discount prices. My only regret was the market wasn't down more during that six year period. See the problem is so many people they have the reverse thinking when it comes to the market and have you guys ever gone to the store and they had a 50 % off sale and you go hey I don't want to pay 50 % off I want to pay full retail once I think going back to retail no one does that that's insane but that's what they do in the stock market the stock market goes down they go oh no I barely get out of the market no that's when you want to buy that's when you want to build that's something but here's what's more than the returns this is what shocked me is the math George Dovolis: Mmm, yeah David Nassief: There's a thing called the Rule of 72 and it says if you're getting a 10 % return your money say your money will double every 7.2 years or roughly every 86 months. My first double when I started that compass my first double occurred in just 30 months. My second 13 my third 29 for an average of 24 months way less. than half the expected time of 86 months. Now here's the secret though. A couple of things. One, I was saving a good portion of my income every month. We couldn't fool around here. Secondly, I was in the right kind of investments, which in my research, it was low cost index funds. I only two funds. This is how simple it is, Scott and George. ⁓ Two that's all I own. ⁓ One the total U.S. market. I own every publicly traded company in the United States. The second one is every company outside the George Dovolis: Hmm. David Nassief: United States, excluding the United States. So with my just two simple funds, I literally own... Every single publicly traded company on the planet The only way I'm going broke is if the entire globe were to collapse and every company were to go under the property that happened So it's what I'm saying though It's very diversified and very safe and the last thing is of the three is I use market volatility to work for me Instead of against me I ended the cycle of buying high and selling low too many people do the opposite I found a simple way to build my wealth twice as fast, but here's the important part with half the risk and that's what most people never figure out unfortunately. George Dovolis: Well, hey, real quick, if you're getting nuggets out of this and David is nasty, is throwing down the nuggets, just don't sit there quietly. Hit the like button, subscribe, drop us a comment. Let us know what lands on you. You know, let me just say this, what your story is and what's going on. If someone was sitting in front of you, just being 30 years old, okay? And what would the one discipline in your system should they start tomorrow? David Nassief: Well, here's what it is. I'm gonna just show you the secret sauce right now. This is my little one page compass right here, okay? And on it, it tells you the steps in order to do them, okay? What I would do if I was 30 years old or 20 years old or 50 years old, I don't care what the age is, I would look at the steps and say, where am I at right now? And what this says is, say the guy's in debt, just to make up something, okay? He's in consumer debt, like credit card, all that kind of Well, the first thing then is to get out of that debt. And so he go, but David, I don't know how to get that. Then I have right here, see chapter four. So then this is like the 30,000 foot ⁓ compass. But the book right here, this is like the map. Turn right here, turn left here. So he can just go to the exact chapter and say, okay, I need to turn right. I need to do this to get out of debt. I need to this. And so the two of them together, this keeps you the big picture so you don't get off track. This gives you the details to how to navigate the terrain together. It's unstoppable. to take you right where you really need to go without a lot of games and stuff like that. George Dovolis: incredible. David Nassief: Can I add what, talking to any age person, the biggest mistake people make, because this is so to me, ⁓ I didn't know this, I didn't know this, ⁓ that is people are paying tiny. ⁓ George Dovolis: Yes, please. Yeah. David Nassief: termite size fees that quietly inflict termite like destruction on their portfolios. Let me give an example of what I'm talking about. You got two people A and B both 25 both just you know starting their career and going to work to 65 both of them decide to put a thousand dollars a month for investing for the future that kind of thing. Okay. Person A goes and puts his money in a low cost index fund like I was talking about with a point 0.03 percent management fee. Person B George Dovolis: Yeah. Yeah. David Nassief: goes to an advisor who charges a full 1 % which is standard and they put him in an active fund which is a 5.75 upfront load and a 0.66 ongoing management fee. Both of them invest every month for their whole career. At the end of eight years here's what happens. Person A has a portfolio of 8.5 million dollars. Person B has a portfolio of $4.2 million. Same market returns, same contributions. The only difference is the fees and those fees created a $4.3 million difference. And here's the thing we assume. We assume they never got a raise. If we have factored in normal raises, that 4.3 difference would even be bigger. But here's the most tragic thing of it all, George, is that Person B probably feels like he got great service. He liked his advisor. They went out and played golf one day. It was really a nice deal. Okay, little did he realize he did the equivalent of funding someone else's retirement with half of his own money and I am embarrassed to tell you this George, but I was just like person B. I never questioned fees. I thought that was just the rules of the game. I later realized the rules we don't question can cost us the most. In that person's case, it cost him four George Dovolis: Mmm, yeah. David Nassief: point three million dollars quietly little by little month after month year after year. That's what I think is one of the biggest mistakes people make in this investing. George Dovolis: That's not chipping away. You you call a power doing nothing, you know, on discipline, it sounds like counter-intuitive. What does that really truly mean? David Nassief: Yeah. Let me tell you, let me tell you how foolish I was for 40 years and I'll tell you, I used to like tinker with my investments. I would, oh, someone's gonna give me a hot stock tip. Oh, I go, or it's a new shiny object came, oh, let's try this. And I was at the end of every year, I look back and I either made no money or I lost money it seemed like, you know, cause I kept wanting to just now what I do, which is I says doing nothing is once a month. George Dovolis: Ha ha ha! No. David Nassief: I transfer from my checking account to my investment account one time. It takes me like three minutes or five, four minutes to do it. And I put them in those two funds I was telling you about and then I'm done. I don't touch them. George Dovolis: Yeah. David Nassief: I don't look at them. I don't play with them. I don't ask for advice about should I do different things. I just forget it. I set it and forget it. And if you have an automated system like a lot of people do, they don't even have to do that. They can just set it up to automatically transfer so much out of their account to the investment. And that's literally a set it and forget it approach. And it's the same with my bill pay. No more I don't pay a single bill anymore. Everything is set to forget it. I I spent you would be shocked how little time I spent on investments and now my doubles, now my doubles, George, they're seven figure doubles. I'm into my fifth double now. My last one was a step seven finger one. This is gonna be double that seven finger one. So I'm telling you, the momentum is just amazing. And it's so, because I said, you're so diversified, it's so safe. It's so safe. George Dovolis: was harder, sticking to a plan or trusting the plan? You know, because that mindset, the discipline and everything else, because a lot of times our age group is 25 to 44 and it's ⁓ sticking the plan or really the plan. And how did you really, you know what? I'm all in and trust that plan. David Nassief: Yeah. Here's what... It kind of they kind of married each other the trust. OK, and the sticking to it because when I you know, Benjamin Franklin says the best investment is knowledge. OK, when I got the after the 21 books, the 13 podcasts and the blogs, I understood now what I was doing wrong for 40 years and what all these advisors and these people who want to get a piece of your money on their commissions do. And I realize now I get this now. I don't have to worry about it. I do trust it. I trust it. I'm just gonna stick with it I'm actually gonna forget it. I don't even recommend people stop watching TV ⁓ the cable news Financial channels those people don't know what they're talking about half time. They're right half the time They're wrong Warren Buffett says, know in terms of forecasting a forecast tells us a lot about the forecaster But nothing about the market and that is so true. ⁓ Nothing these guys half the time. They're right after I the wrong Why would you listen those? I only listen for entertainment purposes. I love to listen they don't know but they I would never take investment advice from a nut a million years. George Dovolis: ⁓ no, not at all. I mean, if when you take a look at when you built the one page wealth ⁓ compass, forced you to strip it down to one page because that is a lot of information to put on one page. I mean, you really had to put put some mindset into it and really think about it. David Nassief: Yep. Well, the reason I could do that, Scott, is because, like I said, this is the 30,000 foot view. Do I have every little every little thing on this? No, I have the big picture items on this one. This is where this is right here, the book. This is where OK, now the detail turn right, turn left is. But you need to keep the 30,000 foot in view, because otherwise, if you get buried in the details, all of sudden you you lift your head up and you go, well, we're way off course. No, you need to stay on course. 30,000 foot view. But they need the right details. And when you marry those two, George Dovolis: Huh? Okay. Yeah. David Nassief: It is powerful. mean, it's absolutely powerful. And I tell you, it was inspiration, Scott. I don't know how I came up with this. I really don't. know I was being blessed and I was being inspired because I never heard of a system like this with a compass and a book and they work together. It's just so simple though. It is so simple. George Dovolis: Well, you know, and when it comes down to what you've gone through, you know, at age 63, I I had to be a just a massive hit because, know, I'm 63 right now and what we have gone through in life and lost and grow the journey that God puts us on and just learning things, and what you said, you know, that the age and the second act, it's it's you said it. You asked one of my questions actually is never too late. And And why do people stop believing? Why do they stop start believing in themselves or believe in the system? Why do they just like, well, it's over and I'm going to have to give up and get on government help? Why does and and I'm asking because you went through things at that late age and let people, you know, let the listeners know because some of them, as you and I have gone through, is allows them to say there's hope. David Nassief: I don't know if you've ever heard the phrase fire financial independence retire early a lot of people are in that today. Okay, I Changed that in my book. I have figna financial independence Graduate to the next adventure. I don't want to retire. I want to next adventure. I started my company at 63 I did this book at 72. I can't wait to see what I'm doing 82 I really can't I don't know what it's gonna be George, but it's gonna be something exciting George Dovolis: Yeah. You I can't wait. I'm looking for your journey. you know what? What's one thing you you learn from getting fired that really reinvented you personally and you and your wife being married for so long? David Nassief: I tell ya, what really invigorated me after I got fired was I am now in charge. I don't report to anybody else. I report to me and I tell you what I'm a harder boss than I've ever had in the 40 years working for me. But you know what but it because I know I know I know the stakes that were involved and there was no more political games I had to play anymore. There was no more boss I had to worry about anymore. I was the boss of myself and that was liberating actually it was liberating because I now knew if I failed I had one person to point the finger at and that was me. OK. And then I didn't have any boss. George Dovolis: Yeah. Hahaha! Yeah. Mmm. David Nassief: I'm complain about, no corporate job. And I have no complaint about my last company. They treated me well for 18 years. Matter of I should really send them a thank you letter for firing me because I'm going to tell you this George, I'm going to be honest with you. I didn't have the guts to quit. I wish I could have said, George, I just one day woke up and said, I'm telling take this job and shove it. I didn't have that kind of courage. I'm 63 years old. What am I going to do? Quit a corporate job, a six figure income corporate job? That's not, they did me a gift. They gave me a gift right there because I George Dovolis: Yeah. Mmm. David Nassief: They'd nudge me out of the corporate nest because I wouldn't have done it myself. I'd still be working there probably whatever miserable George Dovolis: Yeah, you know, and you hit right on the head. A lot of times people are just stuck and they have nowhere to go. And for I'm different. been an entrepreneur for 44 years. I work at a job now as my second W2 job ever in my entire life. to really go through and to watch individuals that are older than me, you know, say, man, I hope I make it. hope I do things. And you just feel bad because they take a look what I'm doing. Got the podcast going. I got some other things going on. And a lot of times people get so worried. They get so concerned. They get consumed ⁓ that negativity. And seeing you just fired up, you know, yes, money, ⁓ money a tool. It cures things right the whole works but what would you say something to someone your age if you had to reface yourself as 63 years old and right now in year 72 and at nine years later what would you tell that person what would tell you at 63 it's okay it's gonna be good what would you tell that you know what would you tell yourself David Nassief: I would say trust yourself and look at your past experiences. You have successes and failures back there. I don't care if you're 20 or if you're 60 and you can draw on those. When I started my company at 63, I drew on my failures and I drew on my successes and I pulled them up here and this is so much more and I hope you guys don't. George Dovolis: Now. David Nassief: your listeners don't think it's all about money. This is so much more than money. We live on a beautiful, beautiful golf course, Scott, in our backyard. Look at those golfers. I hope you guys are having a good time, because I could never do that. just, that's not me. I want to be being productive. I want to get out there work. And this gives me the freedom to take the adventures I want to take. George Dovolis: No! Mmm David Nassief: both fun and career and work and contribute. I love contributing back. I just it's just the money gives you the freedom. It's not the money itself. I don't want to hoard money and like be a scrooge here. I wanted to use it to help other people have freedom that I've never had before in my life. I've never been happier, I don't think, ever in my career than I am right now, ever. George Dovolis: Yes. Man, well, man, that's incredible. So, know, let me ask you this. You're 72. We always talked about legacy. What legacy do you want to leave behind when that time comes? David Nassief: Well, one of the great gifts that this all came about is I hired my son. a few years ago and he's working in with me now. We work together in the company and that is such a thrill. I get to help train him. He's now contributing quite a bit. I he is, you know, it started out with I was helping him now he's really helping me. It's a and that makes me just that I can pass on some of my information that I gained over the years. The successes and failures so he doesn't have to, you know, learn in the hard way. It's just it's been a thrill and that's my legacy right there. And then the. George Dovolis: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. David Nassief: There is the money too. mean, we've been able to give now like we've never been able to give before. And that's so fulfilling. That is a blessing. I think the giver gets more than the receiver. I really believe that. We love to do these... George Dovolis: God bless you. David Nassief: adoptions at Christmas time to families in need. they don't know who we are. don't, we're anonymous, you know. And we're wrapping the gifts and looking at their list and it's like that. And we're just having a blast. It's like when my son was a little kid again. And we're, it's the most fun Christmases now. And the families, know, they really like it, but I think we're getting more out of it. I really do. George Dovolis: Yeah. I am always giving back and you know, the hard work you put in and what you're gone, you seen, you know how it is to struggle and try to figure out things. And I've been in the same position you ⁓ losing $2 million cash. And you'd sit there and you're like, man, I feel so bad, what creates is the mindset. Yeah. You carry. ⁓ it's so, so refreshing for someone to go through at your age. to go through that and still have a fire and still get up in the morning. You know, that's the kind of legacy that a lot of people don't understand. You have a lot of discipline in trading wealth and you're not flashy. know... A lot of times people want to see the flash and we just talk about wealth today, but you know what you talk about? Yeah, just the discipline what you had to do to create it and you know when your backs against the wall, nothing can stop you have to move forward and I just love what you bring to the table on that. David Nassief: And I got to add something to you, George. You said that you lost whatever, $2 million, but you know, that was a $2 million education that I'm sure, I'm sure you'll never, ⁓ you'll never forget it. It's a lesson, it'll serve you for the rest of your life. It was better than going to Harvard, you know what it really was? George Dovolis: Yeah. Yes, yes, that's tuition. Yeah, I'll tell you that, you know, and what saying that what created this podcast together we're stronger was done by my 18 year old daughter watching her parents lose everything. had a partnership that went bad. And you lose everything ⁓ and ⁓ all friends, what you you fight you there were friends they weren't but You really found out and that's where we came up TWRS together. We're stronger was established in 2013. And it's, crazy. You're absolutely right. It's a journey that for me, God put me on. It's a lesson to teach people. I would say it's tuition for education and ⁓ and people like, did you make it? Well, It was really the strength of my family. was the strength of my wife who could have said, you're done. It's over. Instead, I told you so. Didn't trust the partner. But what she did say is we can, how are we going to do it? How are we going to do it? It's that when you have that, talk about Tribe we talked about that closeness community friendship and when you have that capability you can conquer anything's in front of you and you can over you know, you can grow from that and it's just so unique and if someone wants to own 63 or to 69 turnaround What's the mind shift they have to really create to make that happen? You know David Nassief: I myself, think as you used to have to take full responsibility and you have to have faith. And I know if you've ever heard the phrase, pray like everything depends on God, then get up and work like everything depends on you. Well, that's all I was doing for six years. I was praying to work and praying to work and praying. That's all I was doing for six years because I just knew that the Lord had done that, not done this to me, but put me in a situation that will bless me. George Dovolis: Yeah. Yes. Mmm. Yeah! David Nassief: And I heard somebody say this once, they had a prayer once, because they were in a really tough situation. And the answer they got to their prayer was, I love you too much to deny you of this experience. I tell you, when I got fired, I would have said, God, why'd you do this to me? But now looking back, he did that. George Dovolis: Yeah. David Nassief: because he loved me too much to deny me. I am in such a better position right now. And if that hadn't happened, if he would have protected me and not let that happen, ⁓ what a disaster. I mean, I just would have been probably just terrible. So I am grateful for everything that's happened to me. I wouldn't change anything in my past. I wouldn't change anything. George Dovolis: David, it's been incredible. Scott, I know you're with us. Do you have any questions? Sir. Dave, let me let me just say this to you. You know, if someone wanted to see your one page and they do have a website, you have your book that people can go to, ⁓ you know, they find you on LinkedIn or ⁓ or YouTube. What's the places that they can go to to find your information? David Nassief: The best place, I have a gift for all of your listeners too, is to go to my website, OnePageWealthCompass.com, and the first thing you'll see on there is get your free one-page PDF download. They are gonna literally get the secret sauce. They're gonna get the exact same compass that took me from 63 to 69, and that I still use, literally, Scott. George Dovolis: Okay. David Nassief: Today, George said, every day I use it, not every day, but once a week I do a quick two minute review on it. They'll get it for free and they'll get my newsletter for free with tips. And if they want, there's a link to the book. If they want to get the actual map, the more detailed part of it to go with it, they can get that too, very reasonable. And I sell nothing else on this. There's nothing for sale on the site. I'm just giving, I have a blog, it's free. There's nothing, I've made my money. I'd like to give back, frankly, to help people, because I know there's people in the situation I was in and if I can help them, that's a blessing for both of us. George Dovolis: Okay. Mmm. Wow. Well, let me tell you, sir, was an honor to have you on our show. And it is incredible all the information that you not just given Scott or I to our guests, the people who follow us. If you're getting nuggets from this, something that hits home for you, you're watching, subscribe, leave a comment and share this with someone who needs this. you know, sir, you've been an incredible night. David, ⁓ I can't thank you enough for being on our show, connecting with us. We love to see your journey, you know, and see what you got going on. And let's definitely keep in touch because you bring a lot to the table, sir. And I can't thank you personally. And I know Scott will say the same thing. David Nassief: Scott and George, want to say it's been an honor to be on your program and I have a lot of respect for what you do too. So thank you very much. George Dovolis: Thank you. ⁓ just want to tell you, thanks ⁓ guys. Thank you again listening together. are stronger straight. No chaser. We'll see you on the next episode.
