Today, Monday October 19 - As I look back over the 49 years of my Christian life, I truly wish that I would have spent more time engaging myself in the two spiritual disciplines of reading, studying, memorizing and meditating on God's Word, and praying. Someone said, "We live in the day of the weapons of mass distractions." Oswald Chambers in his devotionals often reminds us that, "The need does not constitute the call to an area of ministry." But for sure, the needs I have in my life can definitely be a call and motivation to seek and ask God to meet those needs. God created us as needy…
