Mega Edition: Jeffrey Epstein And The His Plan To Hide Behind Charitable Giving's (9/29/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
0:05
Speaker 1: We've discussed a lot on the podcast about how people
0:08
Speaker 1: such as Prince Andrew wrap themselves in their charitable work
0:13
Speaker 1: and use it as armor whenever they get in trouble.
0:17
Speaker 1: We have seen it time and time again. from many,
0:21
Speaker 1: many different individuals. As if your one act of kindness
0:25
Speaker 1: completely washes away your evil, vile deeds. That is not
0:29
Speaker 1: how it works. Now, there was a period of time
0:33
Speaker 1: when that did work. There was a period of time
0:36
Speaker 1: when you would be able to wrap yourself in your
0:40
Speaker 1: charity and find a way to get off of being
0:43
Speaker 1: punished or facing repercussions for your behavior. But those days
0:48
Speaker 1: are over. People aren't buying the bullshit anymore. And the
0:52
Speaker 1: packaged image these so-called elites are trying to sell us, well,
0:57
Speaker 1: nobody is really accepting it anymore. We have seen way, way,
1:03
Speaker 1: way too many instances of people like Prince Andrew bullshitting
1:07
Speaker 1: around and then using their charitable works as protection. So
1:14
Speaker 1: in this article we're going to get to in a second,
1:17
Speaker 1: he's getting called out for that. And it's not just
1:20
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew, it's all of these condemnable people. All of
1:23
Speaker 1: these scumbag people, you know, they all have these charities.
1:27
Speaker 1: Glenn Dubin and, you know, Prince Andrew is going to
1:31
Speaker 1: work with the human trafficking survivors. I mean, are you
1:33
Speaker 1: kidding me right now? Is that even real life? I
1:40
Speaker 1: don't even understand how anyone can say that seriously and
1:44
Speaker 1: mean it. Because I don't think that there's any group
1:48
Speaker 1: out there that's working with human trafficking survivors that wants
1:52
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew as their patron. I mean, maybe I'm wrong.
1:55
Speaker 1: Maybe there is one or two out there that I
1:57
Speaker 1: don't know about that, you know, want this guy to
2:00
Speaker 1: come in and shake things up. But I'm guessing the
2:03
Speaker 1: vast majority, meaning 99.9%. of charities or groups that work
2:10
Speaker 1: with abused women or sexually assaulted or trafficked women want
2:14
Speaker 1: nothing to do with a man who just paid out
2:16
Speaker 1: $ 17 million, allegedly, to somebody he says he never even
2:20
Speaker 1: met for something he says he never even did and
2:24
Speaker 1: a man who says he's so honorable that he'd go
2:27
Speaker 1: and stay the night with a convicted sex offender. Probably
2:31
Speaker 1: not the top guy or the top choice to be
2:34
Speaker 1: the face of a charity. But in Prince Andrew's rattled
2:39
Speaker 1: ass brain, distorted ass mind, seems like a good idea,
2:42
Speaker 1: I guess. And I wonder who's there advising him. You
2:46
Speaker 1: would think that his mom would step in, right? And say,
2:48
Speaker 1: all right, enough is enough. The bullshit is over. You're
2:51
Speaker 1: now grounded. But no. This dude still thinks he's going
2:54
Speaker 1: to dip his toes back into the regular world. He
2:57
Speaker 1: still thinks that, you know, eventually people are going to
3:00
Speaker 1: forget what he was accused of and what he ended
3:04
Speaker 1: up settling about. And he thinks things are going to
3:06
Speaker 1: be fine at some point. Well, they're not. People are
3:09
Speaker 1: never going to forget what he was accused of. People
3:14
Speaker 1: are never going to forget. that instead of doing the
3:17
Speaker 1: honorable thing and speaking with the authorities, this bitch-ass coward
3:22
Speaker 1: hid behind his mummy's skirts. So people are never going
3:25
Speaker 1: to forget. And no charitable work, no charity assistance is
3:31
Speaker 1: going to help refurbish your image. No matter how bad
3:34
Speaker 1: you want that to be the case, no matter how
3:37
Speaker 1: bad the Lady Victoria Harvey wants that to be the case,
3:41
Speaker 1: it's not going to happen. So with that said, let's
3:45
Speaker 1: jump into this article from iNews and let's see what
3:50
Speaker 1: the author Serena Sandu has to say. Headline, Prince Andrew
3:56
Speaker 1: accused of bringing philanthropy into disrepute by experts. Yeah, no shit.
4:02
Speaker 1: And again, look, it's not just Prince Andrew. We're using
4:05
Speaker 1: him as the flashpoint here. But all of these guys
4:10
Speaker 1: do the same thing. They think that if you do
4:14
Speaker 1: charitable work, then it totally erases your scumbag behavior as well.
4:20
Speaker 1: And that is not the case. Prince Andrew has been
4:27
Speaker 1: accused of bringing philanthropy into disrepute following his donation to
4:32
Speaker 1: a charity for sex trafficking survivors. Look, I don't know
4:37
Speaker 1: if I would say that brings a charity into disrepute, right?
4:40
Speaker 1: If this guy wants to make a donation, fine. great.
4:44
Speaker 1: I'm sure charities will gladly take his money, but that doesn't,
4:48
Speaker 1: you know, fix him. That doesn't refurbish his image. That
4:52
Speaker 1: doesn't excuse his behavior. That's just part of him making amends.
4:57
Speaker 1: And the only reason he's doing it is because he's
4:59
Speaker 1: trying to save face because he's trying to get people
5:01
Speaker 1: to say, look, Prince Andrew wants to do the right thing. Well,
5:04
Speaker 1: the real question is why haven't you done the right thing?
5:08
Speaker 1: all the way up until now. Why did your hand
5:10
Speaker 1: have to get forced? Why didn't you do it of
5:13
Speaker 1: your own free will? Philanthropy expert Charles Caden accused the
5:19
Speaker 1: Duke of York of reputation laundering after he agreed to
5:23
Speaker 1: donate to Virginia Roberts charity and pledged to fight the
5:26
Speaker 1: evils of sex trafficking as part of an undisclosed out
5:30
Speaker 1: of court settlement in her civil sex case against him.
5:34
Speaker 1: So again, it's all for show, right? If Prince Andrew
5:37
Speaker 1: really wanted to do all of this stuff, why did
5:39
Speaker 1: it take going to court? Why did it take all
5:42
Speaker 1: of this stuff to occur for him to step up
5:45
Speaker 1: to the plate to do the honorable thing? Well, the
5:48
Speaker 1: answer is simple. He never planned on doing the honorable thing.
5:51
Speaker 1: He planned on avoiding this for as long as possible.
5:54
Speaker 1: He planned on never answering the bell. Oh, this never happened.
6:00
Speaker 1: I don't even have to talk about this. I don't
6:03
Speaker 1: owe you an answer for anything. And that's what he
6:05
Speaker 1: was attempting to do with that Emily Maitlis interview that
6:09
Speaker 1: backfired like an MF, blew up like the Hindenburg. But
6:13
Speaker 1: that's what he was trying to do. He was trying
6:15
Speaker 1: to put this behind him, put a line under it,
6:17
Speaker 1: and explain himself. Well... You did not do any of that.
6:21
Speaker 1: In fact, all you did was dig that hole a
6:24
Speaker 1: little bit deeper. We don't know the precise details, but
6:29
Speaker 1: the words tainted money seem tailor-made for this case, Mr. Caden,
6:34
Speaker 1: executive editor of Alliance Magazine, which covers global philanthropy, told I.
6:39
Speaker 1: So look, this is a guy who covers people who
6:42
Speaker 1: are generous donors, right? People who are engaging in charity
6:47
Speaker 1: work all over the world. And according to this gentleman,
6:50
Speaker 1: the last thing anybody needs is old Joe Exotic of
6:54
Speaker 1: the Windsor family tarnishing things. And you know that he's
6:58
Speaker 1: going to try and make a big deal about it, right? Oh, well,
7:01
Speaker 1: I donated to this charity. That makes me a better man.
7:05
Speaker 1: When in reality, it doesn't. Take your money and shove it.
7:09
Speaker 1: Your money, don't get me wrong. These organizations do need money.
7:13
Speaker 1: There is no doubt about it. And they should accept it.
7:15
Speaker 1: But that doesn't exonerate him from what he has done.
7:19
Speaker 1: That doesn't make it any better. It doesn't make it
7:20
Speaker 1: any easier on those he has abused. Oh, well, I'm,
7:25
Speaker 1: you know, I'm so sorry about what happened. So here's
7:28
Speaker 1: a few million dollars and I'll come and feed a
7:31
Speaker 1: few abused women. That's basically what he's saying. Does that
7:36
Speaker 1: really make up for all of the ill and all
7:40
Speaker 1: of the devious bullshit he was involved in leading up
7:43
Speaker 1: to this point? I don't think it does. Such reputation
7:49
Speaker 1: laundering through philanthropy falls far short of acceptable standards of philanthropy. 100%.
7:56
Speaker 1: You should be giving to a cause because you believe
7:58
Speaker 1: in it. Because, you know, hey, look, this is something
8:00
Speaker 1: that I think deserves some of my money, some of
8:04
Speaker 1: my time, whatever it is. Prince Andrew's hand was forced here.
8:08
Speaker 1: He had all of these years, what's he, 62 years
8:11
Speaker 1: old or some shit? All these years to step up
8:13
Speaker 1: to the plate on his own and go and help
8:16
Speaker 1: out at a trafficking facility or a home for displaced women.
8:21
Speaker 1: He's never done anything like that. Instead, he's hung out
8:24
Speaker 1: at Balmoral, had shooting parties, and decided to try and
8:28
Speaker 1: destroy the credibility of one of the survivors instead. So
8:32
Speaker 1: what do you mean this guy's some sort of honorable
8:34
Speaker 1: dude or he's doing the right thing? His hand has
8:37
Speaker 1: been forced. His whole entire narrative was shattered and he
8:41
Speaker 1: was forced into this. So let's not act like he's
8:43
Speaker 1: some kind of charitable man and he's doing this out
8:46
Speaker 1: of the kindness of his heart because he is not.
8:49
Speaker 1: This is exactly what it is. Reputation laundering. Mr. Kyden said, sadly,
8:56
Speaker 1: questionable royal philanthropy practices are not isolated. It doesn't shock me. Again,
9:02
Speaker 1: we all know that the royal house, the royal family,
9:05
Speaker 1: the thumb, as they're called, it's all about CYA. It's
9:09
Speaker 1: all about the image, the persona. It doesn't matter what's
9:14
Speaker 1: really going on behind closed doors or if there's a
9:17
Speaker 1: monster in your midst. That doesn't matter. We've got to
9:20
Speaker 1: make sure we have a nice, happy face on for
9:22
Speaker 1: the crowd. We've got to make sure that we're gaslighting
9:25
Speaker 1: the crowd. We're charitable. See all the money we're donating?
9:28
Speaker 1: Never mind the fact that Prince Andrew's hanging out with
9:31
Speaker 1: one of the most prolific human trafficking duos of modern times.
9:35
Speaker 1: Let's just forget about that because, you know, he donated
9:38
Speaker 1: a few hundred bucks. It's likely to be a matter
9:42
Speaker 1: of regret to many dedicated people working in the philanthropy
9:47
Speaker 1: profession that a member of the royal family is bringing
9:50
Speaker 1: philanthropy into disrepute in this way. And they're definitely cautious
9:54
Speaker 1: of it. Like I said, this is not an isolated incident.
9:57
Speaker 1: And I don't want to act like this is something
9:59
Speaker 1: new that Prince Andrew just came up with. This is
10:02
Speaker 1: what all of these super rich people do. Oh, well,
10:05
Speaker 1: look at everything that I've done previously. It doesn't matter
10:07
Speaker 1: that I've been involved in, insert fucked up crime here.
10:11
Speaker 1: And you're seeing the same with Prince Andrew trying to,
10:13
Speaker 1: except this time, what he's trying to do is use
10:16
Speaker 1: this as a vehicle to fix his image. The agreement
10:20
Speaker 1: between Prince Andrew and Miss Roberts is not an admission
10:23
Speaker 1: of guilt from the Duke. He has always strenuously denied
10:27
Speaker 1: the allegations against him. Oh, it's an admission in my opinion,
10:30
Speaker 1: all right. Look, who's paying this kind of money to
10:32
Speaker 1: somebody they never met before? I mean, really? You really
10:36
Speaker 1: want me to believe that? It's just, it's almost impossible
10:41
Speaker 1: for me to believe, honestly. I don't know. And look, again,
10:44
Speaker 1: we're not talking about somebody who has money falling out
10:46
Speaker 1: of his ears. This is a guy who, you know,
10:48
Speaker 1: is a grifter, lives in his mom's basement, basically. Doesn't
10:52
Speaker 1: have a fuck ton of money laying around to just
10:54
Speaker 1: pay these things off. So this isn't just like, all right,
10:58
Speaker 1: let's pay it off and forget about it. This is
11:00
Speaker 1: ruinous for him. So, the fact that he entered into
11:03
Speaker 1: this settlement, the fact that he demanded a trial by
11:07
Speaker 1: a jury just a few weeks ago, and then comes
11:10
Speaker 1: to the table with a fat-ass bag tells me everything
11:13
Speaker 1: I need to know. Claire Bloor, CEO of S-A-R-S-A-S... Somerset
11:22
Speaker 1: and Avon Rape and Sexual Abuse Support said, As an
11:25
Speaker 1: organization that believes survivors and that campaigns for survivors to
11:29
Speaker 1: achieve a sense of justice, we believe that Virginia Roberts
11:33
Speaker 1: has a right to this settlement. We are confident that
11:35
Speaker 1: she will use these funds to provide essential support to
11:39
Speaker 1: people affected by sex trafficking. Hey, look. I'm hoping that
11:43
Speaker 1: that's the case as well, right? Nobody knows the future,
11:46
Speaker 1: but all signs point to these charities getting a nice
11:50
Speaker 1: influx of dough if Prince Andrew keeps his word. The
11:55
Speaker 1: Duke of York's pledge to support victims of sex trafficking
11:59
Speaker 1: has received a lukewarm response from women's groups, crumbling any
12:03
Speaker 1: plans he had of rehabilitating his image through charity work. Again,
12:07
Speaker 1: that's not going to cut it this time. Look, you
12:09
Speaker 1: didn't steal here. You didn't make a mistake. You didn't have,
12:12
Speaker 1: it's not a DUI or something. You're accused of sexually
12:15
Speaker 1: assaulting this young lady while you're in the presence of
12:18
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. This isn't a mere apology or, oh,
12:23
Speaker 1: I'm going to do some charity work. I'm going to
12:25
Speaker 1: go do some community service and pick up trash on
12:27
Speaker 1: the highway. Are you crazy? It comes after speculation that
12:33
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew desired to follow in the footsteps of conservative
12:37
Speaker 1: minister John Profomo, who volunteered at Toynbee Hall for four
12:42
Speaker 1: decades after quitting government over his affair with Christine Keillor.
12:47
Speaker 1: Was this Christine Keillor, lady of age? If she was
12:49
Speaker 1: over the age of consent, talk about apples and oranges.
12:52
Speaker 1: This isn't a fucking affair. If this dude would have
12:54
Speaker 1: just cheated on his wife, I wouldn't have had anything
12:56
Speaker 1: to say about it. Sure, scumbag behavior, but criminal? No.
13:03
Speaker 1: Worthy of talking about if it wasn't an actual crime? No.
13:07
Speaker 1: So I don't even know what sort of comparison they're
13:10
Speaker 1: making here, trying to say that this is as simple
13:15
Speaker 1: as just an affair. Stop it. This is so much
13:18
Speaker 1: more than that. And there's no refurbishing your image once
13:22
Speaker 1: something like this happens. I don't think he's got any
13:27
Speaker 1: chance of ever being able to pull that off. I
13:30
Speaker 1: don't think any charity is going to want to associate
13:33
Speaker 1: with him, said Ian McQuillan, director of Rogare, an independent
13:37
Speaker 1: fundraising think tank. Yeah, that's certainly the opinion I'm under
13:41
Speaker 1: as well. Who is going to want to work with
13:43
Speaker 1: this guy? And why would they want to work with him?
13:46
Speaker 1: Considering everything we know about him, considering all the BS
13:49
Speaker 1: we know, and the fact that he goes in and
13:52
Speaker 1: settles that settlement the way he did, why would any
13:55
Speaker 1: charity be like, all right, you know, I think it's
13:57
Speaker 1: a good idea. Let's have Prince Andrew come on board.
14:00
Speaker 1: That's really going to drive donations. And remember, I think
14:07
Speaker 1: the John Profumo comeback was after years of behind-the-scenes work,
14:11
Speaker 1: which wasn't done from the perspective of trying to rehabilitate
14:14
Speaker 1: his reputation. He just went away and did it. And eventually,
14:18
Speaker 1: he was recognized for this work. It won't matter what
14:21
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew does. There's no fixing this, alright? This guy
14:25
Speaker 1: is a... an absolute anchor to anyone at this point.
14:34
Speaker 1: If you were donating to a charity and you found
14:36
Speaker 1: out that Prince Andrew was involved, would you continue to
14:38
Speaker 1: donate to that charity? I know I wouldn't. Mr. McQuillan
14:46
Speaker 1: likened Prince Andrew's charitable donation to a fine. It isn't
14:50
Speaker 1: really a charitable donation in the way we think of
14:53
Speaker 1: most charitable donations. It's more punitive than a donation. Absolutely. Again,
14:58
Speaker 1: he didn't do this from the kindness of his heart
15:02
Speaker 1: or because he felt shame or sadness or empathy for
15:06
Speaker 1: these women. He did this because it was forced. If
15:08
Speaker 1: he didn't do this, then he was going to get
15:10
Speaker 1: deposed and dragged during the deposition phase. And he wanted
15:14
Speaker 1: nothing to do with that. Because remember, folks... He had
15:18
Speaker 1: no receipts, had no facts on his side. All he
15:21
Speaker 1: had was his bullshit, nonsense, garbage alibi that fell flat
15:27
Speaker 1: from day one. And he knew he had no chance
15:30
Speaker 1: once he got to court. So I'm just going to
15:33
Speaker 1: go ahead and pay out this mega sum of dough
15:35
Speaker 1: and be done with it. And that's exactly what it
15:38
Speaker 1: looks like to me anyway. I'm certain it doesn't represent
15:44
Speaker 1: the first step on a rehabilitation journey for Prince Andrew.
15:49
Speaker 1: He's done, said Mr. McQuillan, adding that the royal would
15:52
Speaker 1: not risk the double whammy of trying to rebuild his
15:55
Speaker 1: career like John Profumo did and risk having the publicity
15:59
Speaker 1: that no one wants to want to help him on
16:03
Speaker 1: that journey. Well, that's a fact. And if he comes
16:06
Speaker 1: back and he tries to make this move, he's going
16:09
Speaker 1: to be laughed out of Dodge. Okay? You're not going
16:12
Speaker 1: to refurbish your image. You're not going to fix things.
16:15
Speaker 1: What you need to do is fade away into obscurity
16:19
Speaker 1: and leave the rest of the world alone. You've caused
16:21
Speaker 1: enough damage. You've damaged the nation. You've damaged the crown.
16:25
Speaker 1: You've damaged your family. And you surely, most definitely, have
16:30
Speaker 1: damaged these survivors. So do the right thing for once
16:34
Speaker 1: in your life and just fade away into obscurity. No comebacks.
16:38
Speaker 1: No part due. None of it. Nobody needs a sequel,
16:42
Speaker 1: all right? The movie was terrible enough the first time around.
16:46
Speaker 1: Let's end it here. All right, folks, that's going to
16:49
Speaker 1: do it for this morning's update. On the way are
16:52
Speaker 1: some context episodes, like usual. And then tonight, I will
16:56
Speaker 1: be back, and we'll pick it up, and we'll see
16:58
Speaker 1: where we're at. If you'd like to contact me, you
17:01
Speaker 1: can do that at bobbycappucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com.
17:11
Speaker 1: You can also find me on Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I.
17:17
Speaker 1: The link that we discussed can be found in the
17:20
Speaker 1: description box. All right, folks, till later on. Hope all
17:23
Speaker 1: of you have a great day. What's up, everyone, and
17:26
Speaker 1: welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. You know what's tiresome, folks?
17:33
Speaker 1: The fact that the Clintons continue to have armor... and
17:37
Speaker 1: are never called out for their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
17:41
Speaker 1: In fact, we still have politicians out here trotting them
17:44
Speaker 1: out on the campaign trail like they're these big superstars. Meanwhile,
17:49
Speaker 1: they have never answered for their allegations of relationship with Epstein,
17:53
Speaker 1: why Ghislaine Maxwell was at Chelsea's wedding, why Hillary Clinton
17:57
Speaker 1: got Alexander Derossi a job at the State Department, why...
18:02
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein gave Bill Clinton so much money for the
18:05
Speaker 1: Clinton Global Initiative, and those are just a few of
18:08
Speaker 1: the questions. Yet you're going to run them up here
18:10
Speaker 1: during this political campaign and shove them down everyone's throat?
18:15
Speaker 1: And people are going to cheer for that? So how
18:17
Speaker 1: is it that you can cheer for that, but demand
18:20
Speaker 1: accountability for somebody like Acosta? Shouldn't it be accountability for
18:24
Speaker 1: all of these people that were enabling Jeffrey Epstein? So
18:29
Speaker 1: please stop with the bullshit, okay? Stop with the nonsense
18:32
Speaker 1: with the Clintons. Enough is enough already. Everybody else who
18:37
Speaker 1: has a scent of Jeffrey Epstein on them has been
18:40
Speaker 1: absolutely lambasted. Now all of a sudden though, none of
18:43
Speaker 1: these journalists have anything to say about the Clintons. They
18:47
Speaker 1: have no questions to ask at these rallies. The only
18:50
Speaker 1: statement we've heard from the Clintons is the one canned
18:53
Speaker 1: ass statement that they put out years ago. Meanwhile, we've
18:57
Speaker 1: had a whole ass trial since then with serious revelations.
19:01
Speaker 1: We're talking about in court. It was documented that Jeffrey
19:04
Speaker 1: Epstein visited the Bill Clinton White House 17 times. That
19:08
Speaker 1: right there should be enough for people to go absolutely
19:11
Speaker 1: bananas and demand answers. It hasn't been. So if you're
19:17
Speaker 1: demanding accountability here, you better be demanding accountability across the
19:21
Speaker 1: board or you're not here to help fix the problem.
19:25
Speaker 1: You're part of the problem. and for all of the
19:28
Speaker 1: nonsense surrounding Acosta, and for how people still go hard
19:31
Speaker 1: on him, you would think that Bill Clinton and Hillary
19:35
Speaker 1: Clinton would get the same treatment, but somehow, someway, they haven't.
19:40
Speaker 1: And I think that tells you everything you need to
19:41
Speaker 1: know about your legacy media. They'll protect some people while
19:46
Speaker 1: they'll go after others. When they're real geniuses, is holding
19:51
Speaker 1: all of these people to account. But they've forgotten that,
19:53
Speaker 1: haven't they? They're too busy being activists. They're too busy
19:57
Speaker 1: trying to divide the populace instead of holding people to account. Well,
20:01
Speaker 1: I hate to tell you, all of these politicians, Hochul,
20:05
Speaker 1: the rest of them, who are bringing Bill Clinton and
20:08
Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton on the trail, They're absolutely disgusting and basically
20:14
Speaker 1: saying that they don't care about these survivors or care
20:17
Speaker 1: about justice ever being fulfilled in the case of Jeffrey Epstein.
20:22
Speaker 1: So just keep that in mind. Now, on to today's article.
20:29
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew is being accused of not carrying out charity work.
20:33
Speaker 1: In other news, water is wet and the sky is blue.
20:37
Speaker 1: What charity is going to have this guy at this point?
20:41
Speaker 1: He'd have to start his own charity at this point
20:43
Speaker 1: because nobody wants to work with him. But he said
20:46
Speaker 1: he was going to be involved in some charities, said
20:49
Speaker 1: he was going to, you know, make amends and move
20:51
Speaker 1: forward and all of the rest of the bullshit, which
20:54
Speaker 1: he hasn't done, by the way. And now, well, he's
20:58
Speaker 1: getting called out on it because people are wondering when
21:01
Speaker 1: he's going to start making amends. People are wondering when
21:04
Speaker 1: he's going to start doing the right thing. And for me,
21:09
Speaker 1: That all starts with speaking to the FBI, speaking to
21:12
Speaker 1: the authorities. And until he does that, Lafangul, I don't
21:15
Speaker 1: want to hear shit from this dude. If you ain't
21:18
Speaker 1: out here talking to the FBI and letting them know
21:20
Speaker 1: what you know, then what exactly is it that you
21:23
Speaker 1: think you're going to fix? You've never even taken responsibility
21:26
Speaker 1: for your bullshit. Just like the rest of your buddies.
21:29
Speaker 1: Just like your homie Bill Clinton. All of you have
21:33
Speaker 1: been able to get away with this shit for years
21:35
Speaker 1: and years and years. I mean, imagine having a picture
21:38
Speaker 1: of yourself getting a massage in an airport by a
21:41
Speaker 1: trafficked girl and nobody calling you out on that shit.
21:46
Speaker 1: It is absolutely absurd to me. And then Prince Andrew
21:50
Speaker 1: over here, give me a break. A whole lot of
21:53
Speaker 1: big flowery words from fine lad school. But no action
21:58
Speaker 1: to back that shit up. You know, it's like a
22:00
Speaker 1: nice car, right? Oh yeah, this is a cool ass car.
22:02
Speaker 1: Let's see what's underneath the hood. You lift up the hood,
22:05
Speaker 1: no engine. That's all of these people. This article is
22:12
Speaker 1: from the Daily Mail. Headline. Prince Andrew is accused of
22:15
Speaker 1: not carrying out charity work, despite pledging to do so,
22:18
Speaker 1: following settlement with Virginia Roberts, as he is seen on
22:22
Speaker 1: his weekly horse ride. Well, you know, I thought this
22:25
Speaker 1: guy was allergic to horses. What happened to that? He
22:27
Speaker 1: got a magic pill for that? He got the magic
22:31
Speaker 1: wizard pill? And, you know, he's fixed now? Gandalf came
22:34
Speaker 1: to see him? Gave him a special Middle Earth allergy shot?
22:38
Speaker 1: And now dude's good to go, huh? This article was
22:42
Speaker 1: authored by Arthur Parashar. Prince Andrew has been accused of
22:48
Speaker 1: not yet carrying out any charity work despite pledging to
22:51
Speaker 1: make amends for his sex abuse scandals. it has been
22:54
Speaker 1: reported that the disgraced Duke of York has instead been
22:58
Speaker 1: playing golf, horse riding, and enjoying life at his home,
23:02
Speaker 1: the Royal Lodge, and watching reality TV, I'm sure. Now,
23:06
Speaker 1: what do you think Prince Andrew watches when he's sitting home?
23:09
Speaker 1: My guess is something super absurd. Pawn Stars, something like that.
23:13
Speaker 1: Some goofy-ass show. Maybe 90 Day Fiancé. Maybe he's looking
23:17
Speaker 1: for a new chick, getting rid of Sarah the Toe Ferguson,
23:20
Speaker 1: and trying to bring in a new girl, and, you know,
23:22
Speaker 1: get things really cracking for the royal family. Imagine that.
23:25
Speaker 1: 90 Day Fiancé. The Royal Edition. The Duke was in
23:30
Speaker 1: fact pictured today on his weekly ride in Windsor where
23:33
Speaker 1: his horse could be seen with a poppy pinned to
23:35
Speaker 1: its bridle. Well, this dude has to be smoking poppy
23:38
Speaker 1: if he thinks that anybody wants to have him around
23:41
Speaker 1: or if he thinks that any charity is going to
23:43
Speaker 1: want him. So while I understand why people are pressing
23:46
Speaker 1: for him to be involved with a charity, I have
23:49
Speaker 1: to say I don't think any charity will have him
23:51
Speaker 1: be involved at this point. For him, it all starts
23:56
Speaker 1: and ends with speaking to the authorities and coming forward.
24:00
Speaker 1: If you didn't take part in any of this, then
24:02
Speaker 1: what are you so scared about? If you didn't actually
24:04
Speaker 1: abuse Virginia, what are you so worried about, dude? And
24:07
Speaker 1: that's really what it comes down to. He's been hesitant
24:10
Speaker 1: and he has denied speaking with authorities this whole entire time.
24:14
Speaker 1: And instead, he's hidden in the shadows, gave one interview
24:18
Speaker 1: and then goes out and acts like he's going to
24:21
Speaker 1: fight these allegations in court, in open court. So everything
24:24
Speaker 1: gets aired out only to settle. Now, not only that,
24:28
Speaker 1: but when you know who Brettler is, his lawyer, you
24:31
Speaker 1: know Brettler doesn't just settle. If there's nothing there and
24:34
Speaker 1: these were fake ass allegations, you better believe Brettler would
24:38
Speaker 1: have hammered Virginia. Do you understand the kind of guy
24:41
Speaker 1: we're dealing with? Go back and look at the cases
24:43
Speaker 1: that Brettler and Singer have taken over time and look
24:47
Speaker 1: how many of them have come out with a positive
24:49
Speaker 1: outcome for their clients. These are not guys that mess
24:53
Speaker 1: around in the courtroom. And we're not talking about jerk-off
24:56
Speaker 1: lawyers like Dershowitz either. These are actually guys that do work.
25:01
Speaker 1: So when they're telling you you better settle for this
25:04
Speaker 1: crazy amount of money, there's a reason that they're telling
25:06
Speaker 1: you that. The 62-year-old's royal career ended in disgrace after
25:13
Speaker 1: he was forced to pay millions of pounds in an
25:15
Speaker 1: out-of-court settlement to sex abuse survivor Virginia Roberts earlier this year.
25:21
Speaker 1: She claimed she was sexually abused three times in 2001
25:26
Speaker 1: when she was 17 after being trafficked by disgraced financier,
25:30
Speaker 1: pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, though Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
25:35
Speaker 1: So people always ask, well, where are the men who
25:38
Speaker 1: used his services? Well, here's one of them. You know,
25:41
Speaker 1: all that talk from people in the peanut gallery that
25:44
Speaker 1: have never lifted a finger or uttered a word here
25:47
Speaker 1: in defense of these women sure seem to have a
25:49
Speaker 1: lot of commentary about all of the other people that
25:52
Speaker 1: need to be exposed. Meanwhile, they haven't done shit to
25:56
Speaker 1: take care of the people that have been exposed already.
25:59
Speaker 1: So how about we put some of that talk away
26:02
Speaker 1: and we do a little bit of this walking? The
26:04
Speaker 1: settlement was not an admission of liability, but the Queen's
26:07
Speaker 1: supposedly favorite son was stripped of his royal patronages and
26:11
Speaker 1: honorary military titles. I don't even get that. Honorary military titles?
26:17
Speaker 1: Maybe I should be an honorary general. I play a
26:19
Speaker 1: lot of, like, simulation war games and shit, so maybe
26:22
Speaker 1: you should just give me that general's title and let
26:25
Speaker 1: me control the next battle that we have somewhere. However,
26:29
Speaker 1: the latest allegations from The Sun claim that many proposals
26:32
Speaker 1: to go through with charity work have stalled after Buckingham
26:36
Speaker 1: Palace permission was sought. Nigel Cawthorn, author of Prince Andrew, Epstein,
26:41
Speaker 1: Maxwell and the Palace, said, Surely he can find a
26:44
Speaker 1: charity somewhere in the world that will have him. His
26:46
Speaker 1: reputation cannot get any worse. And to sustain on the monarchy,
26:51
Speaker 1: but doing charity work will take the edge off and
26:53
Speaker 1: show a little bit of contrition. Well, no, it won't, honestly.
26:58
Speaker 1: It'll show that he's going through the motions. The first
27:01
Speaker 1: and only step for Prince Andrew is speaking to the
27:03
Speaker 1: authorities and coming correct. Until he does that, I don't
27:07
Speaker 1: think anyone wants to hear anything about any sort of
27:09
Speaker 1: charity work or anything else. Sources claim that the prince
27:14
Speaker 1: has lost focus after his attempts were regularly blocked. Andrew
27:19
Speaker 1: was further dragged back into the Epstein scandal last month
27:22
Speaker 1: after the pedophile's conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell, held the Duke of
27:26
Speaker 1: York as a dear friend. Her bombshell comments in a
27:30
Speaker 1: world exclusive interview with the Mail on Sunday contradict Andrew's
27:34
Speaker 1: denial to a U.S. court that they had been close. Oh, wait,
27:38
Speaker 1: what do you mean? Andrew lied again? Come on, Prince
27:41
Speaker 1: Andrew has never lied. Maxwell, who was convicted of helping
27:45
Speaker 1: Epstein abused teenage girls, failed to deny suggestions that she
27:51
Speaker 1: and Andrew had been a couple and declared, I care
27:54
Speaker 1: about him. At one stage, Andrew was a patron of
27:58
Speaker 1: hundreds of charities and other bodies, but he was stripped
28:01
Speaker 1: of his remaining patronages after the palace said he would
28:05
Speaker 1: not carry out any public duties at the start of
28:08
Speaker 1: the year. So Prince Andrew is just going to do
28:10
Speaker 1: what he's always going to do, right? And he's going
28:12
Speaker 1: to get away with it for as long as he wants,
28:15
Speaker 1: because nobody's ever going to call him out on it.
28:18
Speaker 1: I mean, what's going to happen to him? He's going
28:20
Speaker 1: to be forced into exile. That's what he's doing right
28:23
Speaker 1: now anyway. So I think that the best move here
28:27
Speaker 1: for everybody involved is he should stash the whole idea
28:30
Speaker 1: of working for charities and he should just fade away
28:34
Speaker 1: from the scene. And if you don't want to do
28:37
Speaker 1: that and you actually want to do something that's worthwhile,
28:40
Speaker 1: speak to the authorities. But besides that, I don't think
28:43
Speaker 1: anyone wants to hear this guy's apologies. And I don't
28:46
Speaker 1: think anybody wants to hear about, oh, I'm doing charity
28:49
Speaker 1: work now. when you haven't even come to grips and
28:53
Speaker 1: accepted the fact that you did wrong here, how are
28:56
Speaker 1: we supposed to move forward with you accepting responsibility? So
29:02
Speaker 1: to hell with that, to hell with him, to hell
29:04
Speaker 1: with Bill Clinton, to hell with Hillary Clinton, to hell
29:07
Speaker 1: with all of these politicians that are running around with
29:10
Speaker 1: the Clintons and to all of these journalists or people
29:13
Speaker 1: who call themselves journalists out there. In the words of
29:17
Speaker 1: Sebastian Maniscalco, Aren't you embarrassed? Aren't you embarrassed by your
29:23
Speaker 1: behavior and your refusal to do your job? Not one
29:28
Speaker 1: of you on the campaign trail has the courage to
29:31
Speaker 1: ask Bill Clinton or Hillary Clinton directly about Jeffrey Epstein, huh? Well,
29:37
Speaker 1: that tells us all we need to know about the
29:39
Speaker 1: people working on this campaign and the legacy media in general.
29:45
Speaker 1: All right, folks, that's going to do it for this one.
29:47
Speaker 1: If you'd like to contact me, you can do that
29:49
Speaker 1: at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com. You can
29:58
Speaker 1: also find me on Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I. The
30:05
Speaker 1: link that I discussed can be found in the description box.
30:09
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
30:14
Speaker 1: We've been talking about the financial portion of the Jeffrey
30:17
Speaker 1: Epstein criminal enterprise for quite some time here on the podcast.
30:22
Speaker 1: And I think it's one of the most underreported and
30:27
Speaker 1: least talked about portions of this case. Which is very
30:32
Speaker 1: odd to me considering we all know that it's the
30:34
Speaker 1: financial ties that bind. We all know that if you
30:37
Speaker 1: follow the money, eventually you're going to find a criminal.
30:42
Speaker 1: But the government... Even after Jeffrey Epstein's death and arrest,
30:47
Speaker 1: they didn't seem to have any desire to follow the money.
30:51
Speaker 1: They didn't seem to have any desire to bring in
30:54
Speaker 1: the proper people to go through this stuff forensically and
30:57
Speaker 1: figure out what the hell went on here. Because Jeffrey
31:00
Speaker 1: Epstein was manipulating the system at every turn. Whether it
31:04
Speaker 1: be with his offshore money spots. Whether it be with
31:11
Speaker 1: business deals or... Fake charities even, like we're going to
31:15
Speaker 1: talk about today. You name it, Jeffrey Epstein was involved
31:20
Speaker 1: in it. When it comes to financial ill-gotten gains and
31:24
Speaker 1: financial misdeeds, Jeffrey Epstein was involved in all of it.
31:28
Speaker 1: And it's something that doesn't get enough talk. Because... I'll
31:33
Speaker 1: tell you what, if these investigators were really serious about
31:37
Speaker 1: all of this and they were really serious about bringing
31:40
Speaker 1: the remnants of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise under heel, they'd
31:45
Speaker 1: slap a RICO charge on all of these people and
31:47
Speaker 1: then they dive into their financials with a fine tooth comb.
31:51
Speaker 1: And until we see that happening, then I have to
31:55
Speaker 1: say we're never getting the full look at what went
31:58
Speaker 1: on here. We're only getting little pieces, right? A little
32:01
Speaker 1: look in the room, maybe. Whereas we all know Ghislaine
32:06
Speaker 1: Maxwell is a disgusting excuse for a human being. She's
32:10
Speaker 1: not the only one involved here. She was the underboss, right?
32:14
Speaker 1: The Epstein's right-hand woman. But she wasn't the only one involved.
32:19
Speaker 1: She certainly wasn't involved in the financial angle like Indyk
32:23
Speaker 1: or Khan or some of these other people. So what
32:28
Speaker 1: I would like to see, probably never going to see it,
32:30
Speaker 1: but what I would like to see is a nice
32:32
Speaker 1: fat RICO case. All of these people caught up. Anybody
32:37
Speaker 1: who ever had money transferred to them by Jeffrey Epstein
32:40
Speaker 1: has to have a look. Because we know that all
32:43
Speaker 1: of his money originated from a dark place, right? Ill-gotten gains.
32:48
Speaker 1: So if you're receiving ill-gotten gains from somebody who is
32:52
Speaker 1: caught up in a RICO case, well, now you are
32:55
Speaker 1: a target in that RICO case as well. And that's
32:58
Speaker 1: how RICO works. And that's why everybody's so terrified of it.
33:02
Speaker 1: I've seen it firsthand. I've seen Rico apply to people
33:05
Speaker 1: I care about firsthand and seen how it ruined them.
33:10
Speaker 1: Over illegal sports gambling, by the way. Meanwhile, you have
33:14
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and his friends opening up banks, all kinds
33:17
Speaker 1: of crazy shit, and no penalties, nobody's going to jail,
33:21
Speaker 1: his banker doesn't go to jail, his lawyer doesn't go
33:24
Speaker 1: to jail, his accountant doesn't go to jail. And you
33:29
Speaker 1: wonder why people have no faith in the system or
33:31
Speaker 1: in these institutions. All right, today our article is from
33:36
Speaker 1: the New York Times, and the headline of this article
33:40
Speaker 1: is Jeffrey Epstein's Charity, an Image Boost Built on Deception.
33:45
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Steve Etter and Matthew Goldstein. Now,
33:51
Speaker 1: we reached back into the vault for this one, folks.
33:53
Speaker 1: This is an article from November 26th of 2019, and
33:58
Speaker 1: considering there's a bit of a lull today as far
34:01
Speaker 1: as new news, I thought we'd slide this one in
34:05
Speaker 1: and keep things rolling on the financial track. Jeffrey Epstein's
34:11
Speaker 1: foundation looked for all the world like a charitable powerhouse.
34:15
Speaker 1: On its websites and in its press releases, the foundation
34:18
Speaker 1: was described as a patron of hospitals, universities, and film festivals,
34:24
Speaker 1: run by a global philanthropist. And this is what's so galling, right?
34:28
Speaker 1: Everybody knew what this guy was up to. All of
34:31
Speaker 1: the scumbags in his atmosphere knew. What do you think?
34:34
Speaker 1: They sat around and his hubris didn't have him acting
34:37
Speaker 1: in a brazen manner, telling these people what he was about?
34:40
Speaker 1: Maybe not directly, but hinting at it. And then, if
34:44
Speaker 1: you're one of these people hanging out with him all
34:45
Speaker 1: the time, you mean to tell me you never had
34:47
Speaker 1: any questions why he's there without any, uh, I mean,
34:51
Speaker 1: with these young girls? Where are their parents? He's not,
34:53
Speaker 1: it's not his niece or his nephew or anything like that.
34:57
Speaker 1: He just happens to have all of these young girls around,
34:59
Speaker 1: and nobody has any questions for him? The organization, known
35:05
Speaker 1: by various names, but usually called the J. Epstein Virgin
35:09
Speaker 1: Islands Foundation, wasn't officially a charity for much of its existence.
35:13
Speaker 1: having lost its tax-exempt status in 2008. But it worked
35:19
Speaker 1: to his advantage, helping improve the reputation of Mr. Epstein,
35:23
Speaker 1: a convicted sex offender. And remember, that's what it was
35:26
Speaker 1: all about. After his arrest, Epstein went on the full
35:30
Speaker 1: court press, trying to refurbish his reputation. He wanted to
35:34
Speaker 1: come back into civil society. He wanted to make his comeback.
35:38
Speaker 1: And he was convinced that it was going to be
35:39
Speaker 1: able to happen... if these sort of people would help
35:42
Speaker 1: him refurbish his disgusting and beat-up reputation. And the sad
35:47
Speaker 1: part is, folks, a lot of these so-called elites, a
35:50
Speaker 1: lot of these scumbags that are out there crowing about
35:53
Speaker 1: this or that, they let him do it. There's no investigations,
36:00
Speaker 1: no IRS agents dispatched to go and talk to him.
36:04
Speaker 1: Just left up to his own devices, to the perils
36:07
Speaker 1: of everybody else. A review of tax documents, government records,
36:16
Speaker 1: and information provided by federal officials shows that the foundation
36:20
Speaker 1: lost its tax-exempt status for an unknown reason in the
36:23
Speaker 1: same year Mr. Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting prostitution from
36:28
Speaker 1: a minor. An unknown reason, huh? Oh, I'm sure it
36:31
Speaker 1: had everything to do with him not being involved with
36:36
Speaker 1: abusing kids, right? It's absurd. We all know what the
36:39
Speaker 1: reason is. But the crazy part is... All of these
36:43
Speaker 1: people knew behind the scenes what was going on. And
36:46
Speaker 1: nobody acted. None of these law enforcement officials. None of
36:50
Speaker 1: these officials down in the Virgin Islands who knew what
36:52
Speaker 1: was going on. Nobody. All because they were too busy
36:56
Speaker 1: stuffing their pockets full of Jeffrey Epstein's disgusting ass, gross,
37:00
Speaker 1: ill-gotten money. In the years between that case and his
37:08
Speaker 1: suicide in August, as he faced federal sex trafficking charges, Mr.
37:12
Speaker 1: Epstein was unshackled from the rigorous financial disclosures that charities
37:16
Speaker 1: are supposed to file every year with the government, allowing
37:20
Speaker 1: him to exaggerate his philanthropy as he sought to rebuild
37:23
Speaker 1: his reputation. The foundation's portrayals of its giving ranged from
37:27
Speaker 1: simple embellishment to staggering overstatement. That means lying, okay? Let's
37:32
Speaker 1: just be very real with what it means. Epstein and
37:35
Speaker 1: his team they were forging everything they were if they
37:38
Speaker 1: were anything besides sick disgusting twisted wannabe human beings they
37:43
Speaker 1: were all liars as well they sure had a huge
37:47
Speaker 1: idea about who they were and it certainly didn't match
37:51
Speaker 1: up with reality One of Mr. Epstein's websites said the
37:57
Speaker 1: foundation had helped to underwrite the Tribeca Film Festival when
38:01
Speaker 1: in fact it had donated $ 28, 000 to a related organization
38:06
Speaker 1: that offers grants to filmmakers and educational programming to students
38:11
Speaker 1: in New York City. So that's definitely always been a
38:14
Speaker 1: trademark of Epstein. He's always been one of those guys
38:17
Speaker 1: who likes to exaggerate about things. That's why you always
38:21
Speaker 1: have to take what he says with a grain of salt, right?
38:24
Speaker 1: When you hear quotes from Epstein, you know, it's very
38:27
Speaker 1: difficult to take them at face value. The foundation sent
38:33
Speaker 1: out news releases touting donations to the Massachusetts Institute of
38:38
Speaker 1: Technology to restore Mark Rothko murals and teach coding to five-year-olds,
38:43
Speaker 1: claims that officials at the school later called inaccurate. Oh,
38:47
Speaker 1: I'm sure they were inaccurate. Again, look, I don't trust
38:50
Speaker 1: MIT either. Considering their relationship with Epstein and the way
38:53
Speaker 1: they're trying to foster their image now and fix their
38:56
Speaker 1: image after it was revealed, how deep their ties were
38:59
Speaker 1: with Epstein, of course they're going to be in cover-your-ass
39:02
Speaker 1: mode as well. Oh, well, we had no idea what
39:05
Speaker 1: was going on here. That's inaccurate. That never happened. It
39:10
Speaker 1: also issued a statement in 2013 saying researchers at Mount
39:14
Speaker 1: Sinai Hospital had made a major advance in breast cancer research...
39:19
Speaker 1: with the backing of Mr. Epstein. Although the health system's
39:22
Speaker 1: own release makes no mention of him. I mean, stolen valor,
39:26
Speaker 1: wearing the Navy SEAL shit, acting like he's, you know,
39:29
Speaker 1: a big... wig here, helping out people with breast cancer,
39:32
Speaker 1: which I take umbrage with, considering the love of my
39:36
Speaker 1: life battled through stage 2B breast cancer a few years ago,
39:40
Speaker 1: and it was one of the most grueling, rigorous, 18
39:45
Speaker 1: months of my, I can't even explain how rigorous the
39:47
Speaker 1: 18 months was. It was very, very difficult watching somebody
39:51
Speaker 1: I care about and love more than the world suffer
39:54
Speaker 1: like that and not be able to do anything but
39:56
Speaker 1: provide emotional and mental support. Wake up every day, take
40:02
Speaker 1: her to the doctor, chemotherapy, then on to radiation, then
40:06
Speaker 1: after that still back and forth to the doctors for
40:09
Speaker 1: a while. It is all bad and I don't wish
40:11
Speaker 1: that on nobody. And anybody acting like they're involved in
40:15
Speaker 1: that and helping people who are going through that and
40:18
Speaker 1: they're really not, Well, they certainly make my list of
40:21
Speaker 1: top scumbags, folks. Because that is not something to joke
40:25
Speaker 1: around with. It's not something to make pretend you're helping
40:27
Speaker 1: out with if you're not. Because it's serious business. People's
40:31
Speaker 1: lives are shattered when they're sitting in that hospital room
40:34
Speaker 1: and they get that diagnosis. I'm sorry to tell you,
40:37
Speaker 1: you have cancer. Let me tell you what. Everything changes
40:41
Speaker 1: that day, folks. Every single thing changes. And it certainly
40:44
Speaker 1: was the case for me. So when I see people
40:46
Speaker 1: out here acting like, you know, they're helping people with cancer,
40:50
Speaker 1: and then pulling a pump fake and shit, it really,
40:52
Speaker 1: really bothers me. But the most glaring exaggeration appeared on Wikipedia.
40:59
Speaker 1: A username apparently connected to Mr. Epstein edited the page
41:03
Speaker 1: for the foundation and put its annual outlay at $ 200
41:07
Speaker 1: million a year, just under the amount the Facebook founder
41:11
Speaker 1: Mark Zuckerberg contributed to charity in 2018. Now, we know
41:15
Speaker 1: Epstein wasn't dumping that kind of dough into any kind
41:20
Speaker 1: of charity. Zero chance. That money was better used for
41:25
Speaker 1: his criminal enterprise. In reality, the foundation was worth a
41:30
Speaker 1: small fraction of that amount, according to documents obtained by
41:34
Speaker 1: the New York Times through a public records lawsuit in
41:37
Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands. 18 years of financial statements show that
41:41
Speaker 1: just under $ 20 million flowed into the foundation since it
41:45
Speaker 1: was founded in 2000. A lot less than the $ 200 million, huh? Again,
41:49
Speaker 1: you see what I'm talking about with these scumbags? They'll
41:52
Speaker 1: even use this. They're charity. They'll wrap themselves in this
41:55
Speaker 1: charity stuff and use it as a shield, as armor.
41:58
Speaker 1: And I really, really detest it. It's really gross. There's
42:03
Speaker 1: not enough words to really explain the grossness of it.
42:12
Speaker 1: Roughly $ 16. 6 million was spent on donations and grants. Most
42:16
Speaker 1: of the rest paid unspecified general and administrative expenses and $ 1. 5
42:21
Speaker 1: million in interest for what appears to be an undisclosed debt. Oh,
42:25
Speaker 1: an undisclosed debt, huh? I wonder which scumbag was getting
42:29
Speaker 1: that chunk of change. Which scumbag had their hands in
42:31
Speaker 1: that pie? The documents, which were filed with the Virgin
42:36
Speaker 1: Islands Division of Corporations and Trademarks, do not offer details
42:40
Speaker 1: about where the money came from, or ended up. That
42:44
Speaker 1: information would be contained in the public document, Form 990,
42:48
Speaker 1: that charities are required to file each year with the
42:51
Speaker 1: Internal Revenue Service. But there is just one publicly available
42:56
Speaker 1: Form 990 from the Foundation, a single-page filing in 2002,
43:02
Speaker 1: And it does not include any information on grants or donations.
43:06
Speaker 1: So you see, here's my big problem, all right? You
43:09
Speaker 1: have all of these government officials and all of these
43:11
Speaker 1: people who are now talking about how these financial crimes
43:15
Speaker 1: occurred and how the system was manipulated. Meanwhile, this guy
43:19
Speaker 1: wasn't even filing the right paperwork. wasn't following any of
43:24
Speaker 1: the Fincen regulations, and nothing happened to him. There was
43:28
Speaker 1: never an investigation. There was never a raid. Nobody was arrested.
43:32
Speaker 1: In fact, he was hooked up in the Virgin Islands.
43:35
Speaker 1: And this is why I say the Virgin Islands should
43:37
Speaker 1: not see one single dollar. They're the ones who let
43:41
Speaker 1: all of this happen down there. All right? So they
43:44
Speaker 1: shouldn't just be let off the hook, the officials down there.
43:47
Speaker 1: Nobody's going to get arrested. None of that. Until that happens,
43:50
Speaker 1: I don't want to hear about The Virgin Islands thinks
43:52
Speaker 1: they should have some of this money because all of
43:54
Speaker 1: this shit happened on all of their watch and nobody
43:57
Speaker 1: wanted to do anything about it until the wall started
44:02
Speaker 1: to fall down. Mr. Epstein's website portrayed the foundation as
44:07
Speaker 1: an organization with high standards and high aspirations for changing
44:11
Speaker 1: the world. I mean, yeah, you know, definitely what it was,
44:15
Speaker 1: definitely an organization with high standards. if high standards to
44:20
Speaker 1: you mean no standards whatsoever. A page from one site
44:26
Speaker 1: described a multi-stage grant process that asked applicants to describe
44:30
Speaker 1: how their project was innovative, the pressing need it would address,
44:34
Speaker 1: and an explanation of how they would evaluate their results.
44:38
Speaker 1: The page from 2010 also said it was vital to
44:41
Speaker 1: understand that the Foundation and another run by Mr. Epstein
44:45
Speaker 1: were not piggy banks. No, they were a way for
44:48
Speaker 1: Epstein to get his claws into some of these scientists
44:51
Speaker 1: or some of these projects. And then that way, he
44:53
Speaker 1: can do what he wished with the information. Sell it
44:55
Speaker 1: onto his handler or whatever it is. That was the
44:58
Speaker 1: whole goal for Epstein. But that was the term that
45:06
Speaker 1: Martin Scheel, a retired supervisory special agent with the Criminal
45:09
Speaker 1: Investigations Division of the IRS, used to describe the foundation.
45:14
Speaker 1: Its lack of disclosures, he said, could be an overt
45:17
Speaker 1: act of concealment. Oh, it could be, huh? So where
45:20
Speaker 1: is the IRS kicking in the doors? Where's the IRS
45:22
Speaker 1: sending in all of the agents? Oh, they only do
45:25
Speaker 1: that if it's you. Guess what? Tax day's coming, folks.
45:28
Speaker 1: You better make sure yours are filed. It's not clear
45:32
Speaker 1: if such misrepresentations amounted to a crime. False statements meant
45:36
Speaker 1: to fraudulently solicit donations are illegal and generally prosecuted by
45:41
Speaker 1: state attorneys general. Yeah, when they're not in the pocket
45:45
Speaker 1: of the accused, when they're not, you know, dipping their
45:49
Speaker 1: hands into the trough. Yeah, then you might have some indictments,
45:53
Speaker 1: but Jeffrey Epstein? No way. The dude was protected, obviously,
45:56
Speaker 1: wherever he went, and was able to initiate these sorts
45:59
Speaker 1: of schemes, scams, and plots, and nobody wanted to do
46:03
Speaker 1: anything about it. The New York State Attorney General's Office
46:07
Speaker 1: began inquiring in 2015 whether the foundation, which said on
46:12
Speaker 1: one of its sites that it had offices in Manhattan
46:15
Speaker 1: and the Virgin Islands, needed to register as a charity
46:18
Speaker 1: in New York. Mr. Epstein's longtime lawyer, Darren Indyke, replied
46:23
Speaker 1: that the site was inaccurate and that the foundation was
46:25
Speaker 1: operated out of an office in St. Thomas. So they
46:29
Speaker 1: can't even get their act together as far as where
46:32
Speaker 1: a business is being conducted in this company, right? Oh,
46:36
Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands. Oh, it's in New York. And then
46:38
Speaker 1: the regulators are just like, oh, okay, whatever you say, Mr. Epstein.
46:42
Speaker 1: Instead of really digging in like they usually do, we'll
46:46
Speaker 1: move on to an easier target, lower hanging fruit, if
46:48
Speaker 1: you will. Mr. Indyk, who is one of two executors
46:52
Speaker 1: of Mr. Epstein's estate, did not respond to messages seeking comment.
46:58
Speaker 1: Before regulators closed their inquiry, Mr. Indyk provided them with
47:02
Speaker 1: a copy of a letter the foundation received from the
47:05
Speaker 1: IRS in 2000, verifying its status as a charitable, tax-exempt organization. Oh,
47:11
Speaker 1: I'm sure. Jeffrey Epstein is getting passports from Saudi Arabia and,
47:15
Speaker 1: you know, other countries. You really think he's going to
47:17
Speaker 1: have a problem pulling some levers here to get tax-exempt status?
47:24
Speaker 1: But he never disclosed that the agency had dropped the
47:27
Speaker 1: foundation from its official role of tax-exempt organizations. The foundation
47:32
Speaker 1: was set up as part of Mr. Epstein's participation in
47:35
Speaker 1: a lucrative program in the Virgin Islands that offered big
47:38
Speaker 1: tax breaks to his businesses. Financial Trust and Southern Trust
47:42
Speaker 1: in return for philanthropic commitment to charities in the territory.
47:47
Speaker 1: And you see where the whole ask for the money
47:49
Speaker 1: comes in now down in the Virgin Islands. But again,
47:53
Speaker 1: these officials are the ones that put Jeffrey Epstein into business, right?
47:57
Speaker 1: They let him set up shop down there. They're the
47:59
Speaker 1: ones that should have been regulating this, going over it
48:01
Speaker 1: with a fine-tooth comb, but instead they set it all up,
48:04
Speaker 1: then they turn around, and then they want to play
48:06
Speaker 1: the fool and act like they had no idea? Sorry,
48:09
Speaker 1: that doesn't work. One of Mr. Epstein's sales pitch to
48:16
Speaker 1: his wealthy clients was offering tax-advantaged strategies that sometimes included
48:21
Speaker 1: charitable giving. Reports from the agency that approved the tax
48:25
Speaker 1: incentives show the foundation made more than $ 1. 8 million in
48:29
Speaker 1: donations to charities, educational scholarships, and symposiums there. In an
48:34
Speaker 1: emailed statement, the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority said the
48:38
Speaker 1: foundation was established primarily for the purpose of making charitable
48:42
Speaker 1: contributions to the Virgin Islands community. Well, $ 1. 8 million in donations,
48:48
Speaker 1: all right. But public records show it also carried out
48:51
Speaker 1: some unusual transactions. Of course it did. He wasn't being
48:55
Speaker 1: regulated or monitored. He throws $ 1. 8 million towards the Virgin
48:59
Speaker 1: Island Economic Development Authority. They look the other way. You
49:03
Speaker 1: guys all know how this game is played. I don't
49:05
Speaker 1: need to explain this to you. You've all been seeing
49:07
Speaker 1: this for how many years now? In 2017, the foundation,
49:12
Speaker 1: also known as Enhanced Education, cut a check for $ 160, 000
49:15
Speaker 1: to pay fines Mr. Epstein incurred for permanent violations on
49:23
Speaker 1: his private islands. Its funds also backed the causes of
49:26
Speaker 1: political officials in the Virgin Islands, including up to $ 30, 000
49:31
Speaker 1: to support a computer giveaway by an elected official. The
49:34
Speaker 1: Foundation has also contributed tens of thousands of dollars to
49:38
Speaker 1: other groups, including the territory's Chamber of Commerce. So you see,
49:42
Speaker 1: they've already gotten their cut, the Virgin Islands. And this
49:45
Speaker 1: is why I'm so adamant about them not getting any
49:47
Speaker 1: more of this money, especially considering we see how a
49:50
Speaker 1: lot of these survivors got lowballed, $ 125 million, $ 135 million
49:55
Speaker 1: going out to the survivors, a mere one-sixth of Jeffrey
49:58
Speaker 1: Epstein's fortune. And the Virgin Islands, with all of this
50:01
Speaker 1: in mind, still thinks they're entitled to a little piece?
50:06
Speaker 1: Federal investigators have taken an interest in the foundation. In August,
50:10
Speaker 1: the FBI contacted the Virgin Islands Department of Planning and
50:13
Speaker 1: Natural Resources about the payment to resolve the permit violations.
50:18
Speaker 1: Agents asked whether the department had a policy prohibiting a
50:21
Speaker 1: charitable foundation from paying the penalty, said Jamal Nielsen, a
50:26
Speaker 1: spokesman for the department. He said the contribution did not
50:30
Speaker 1: violate any department rules. Oh, of course it didn't. You know,
50:33
Speaker 1: It never violates any rules when they're the ones benefiting
50:36
Speaker 1: from it, does it? The FBI in New York declined
50:40
Speaker 1: to comment, citing an ongoing investigation. It's not clear how
50:44
Speaker 1: the foundation lost its tax-exempt status. It could have given
50:48
Speaker 1: it up, or it may have been taken away after
50:51
Speaker 1: an IRS investigation. Eric L. Smith, a spokesman for the IRS,
50:56
Speaker 1: said the agency could not comment, citing federal privacy laws.
51:01
Speaker 1: That's another thing the government likes to do, right? Oh,
51:03
Speaker 1: there's an investigation right now. We can't give you any information.
51:08
Speaker 1: The IRS can also revoke tax-exempt status if a foundation
51:12
Speaker 1: fails to file a Form 990 for three consecutive years,
51:16
Speaker 1: although that rule took effect in 2010. Stephen T. Miller,
51:21
Speaker 1: a former acting IRS commissioner and now the national director
51:25
Speaker 1: of tax at Alliant Group, said Form 990s are vital
51:29
Speaker 1: both for regulators and the general public to understand the
51:33
Speaker 1: finances of a given entity. Zero chance we were ever
51:37
Speaker 1: going to get a look behind the curtain at Jeffrey
51:39
Speaker 1: Epstein's finances. This guy was not a genius like everybody says,
51:44
Speaker 1: but the dude certainly was good at hiding money and
51:47
Speaker 1: manipulating the financial sector, especially considering all of the people
51:52
Speaker 1: he had dispersed throughout it to help him out. The
51:56
Speaker 1: scant filings by Mr. Epstein's foundation, he said, showed a
52:00
Speaker 1: lack of transparency. And over the years, Mr. Epstein operated
52:04
Speaker 1: at least three other charities, including one based in the
52:07
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands. Mr. Endyke is lawyer, long served as an
52:11
Speaker 1: officer for Mr. Epstein's charities and other businesses. Again, Darren
52:15
Speaker 1: Endyke's name all over the place. No indictment, no deposition,
52:20
Speaker 1: no self-responsibility. Two of Mr. Epstein's foundations relied on on
52:28
Speaker 1: wealthy business titans to provide millions in seed capital. His
52:32
Speaker 1: COUQ Foundation received about $ 21 million in stock and cash
52:37
Speaker 1: from charities of Leslie H. Wexner, the billionaire retail magnate
52:41
Speaker 1: whose company owns Victoria's Secret. Mr. Epstein's Gratitude America Foundation
52:46
Speaker 1: received $ 10 million in donations in 2015 from a company
52:51
Speaker 1: tied to the private equity billionaire, Leon D. Black. And
52:55
Speaker 1: you see what I mean, folks, and why I call
52:57
Speaker 1: this such a sham? All of these guys are donating
53:00
Speaker 1: to these sham-ass foundations. And this turns into ill-gotten gains.
53:05
Speaker 1: And this is a RICO case right here, right here
53:07
Speaker 1: in front of us. And believe me, I'm certainly no
53:09
Speaker 1: FBI agent or IRS agent or Treasury Department official. But
53:13
Speaker 1: come on. If you're going to slap people with RICO
53:16
Speaker 1: over illegal gambling or wire fraud, you mean to tell
53:20
Speaker 1: me this doesn't deserve at least a full-on investigation, a
53:24
Speaker 1: full-on look? Mr. Epstein's other foundations complied with federal disclosure rules,
53:31
Speaker 1: making his namesake foundation the outlier. It doesn't pass the
53:35
Speaker 1: smell test, said Mr. Scheel, the retired IRS special agent.
53:40
Speaker 1: After his 2008 conviction, Mr. Epstein took great pains to
53:44
Speaker 1: burnish his reputation, and the foundation played a key role.
53:48
Speaker 1: And so did all of those enablers that were around
53:50
Speaker 1: him that we talk about all the time. In 2013,
53:54
Speaker 1: a Wikipedia user named Turville made a number of changes
53:57
Speaker 1: to the page for the foundation. The changes including saying
54:01
Speaker 1: the foundation had given more than $ 200 million to a
54:05
Speaker 1: long list of notable scientists since its inception, then raised
54:09
Speaker 1: its claim further by describing that sum as its approximate
54:13
Speaker 1: annual outlay. So basically, just lying about things, this person
54:17
Speaker 1: went on Wikipedia and just started changing the Wikipedia page
54:21
Speaker 1: to all sorts of fanciful, wismical BS. The user's name
54:27
Speaker 1: connection to Mr. Epstein is evident from information he disclosed
54:30
Speaker 1: in New Mexico as a result of his 2008 conviction.
54:35
Speaker 1: He provided a list of online usernames, including those used
54:38
Speaker 1: by third-party reputation management services he hired. On that list
54:43
Speaker 1: was a Wikipedia handle, Turville, that does not appear anywhere
54:48
Speaker 1: on the website. But the similar name, Turville Does, and
54:53
Speaker 1: that user had a particular focus on editing articles about Mr. Epstein.
54:59
Speaker 1: So you see how this works, right? Epstein out there
55:01
Speaker 1: trying to foster his image, then hits the internet to
55:04
Speaker 1: do a quick sweep to make sure everything lines up. Meanwhile,
55:08
Speaker 1: the IRS, the government, Nobody's the wiser, huh? Nobody has
55:14
Speaker 1: any idea what's going on. As we continue to dive
55:19
Speaker 1: deeper into this disgusting rabbit hole, it becomes very apparent
55:24
Speaker 1: that all of these people had at least a clue
55:27
Speaker 1: what was going on. And frankly, they didn't care. All right, folks,
55:33
Speaker 1: that's going to do it for this morning's update. As usual,
55:37
Speaker 1: on the way, some context episodes. Then I will be
55:40
Speaker 1: back later on tonight. If you'd like to contact me,
55:43
Speaker 1: you can do that at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I
55:51
Speaker 1: at protonmail.com. The article that we discussed can be found
55:56
Speaker 1: in the description box.
