- 0:10Speaker 1: As we go to yours, does it go to mine?
- 0:14Speaker 1: You're a bad idea.
- 0:15Speaker 2: But a real good time.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Oh, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't
- 0:23Speaker 1: love you because I do.
- 0:25Speaker 2: I'm a couple minutes out from your house in the new.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Oh, that's good. I like that. You could play that
- 0:31Speaker 1: on guitar. I reckon maybe. Yeah, yeah.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Probably a chance.
- 0:35Speaker 1: That's our warm-up done. Yep. Elsie's joined the show today.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Yeah, bonus round.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Hey, Elsie.
- 0:40Speaker 3: So, Elsie, when did you meet Elsie?
- 0:43Speaker 1: I actually met her actually on the first day on Earth, actually.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Did you?
- 0:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, in the real world. Yeah?
- 0:50Speaker 2: She was like, she was tucked away for a little while,
- 0:52Speaker 2: about nine months, and she just kind of, yeah. She
- 0:55Speaker 2: wasn't ready to see and get out there, but she's
- 1:00Speaker 2: out there now.
- 1:00Speaker 3: She sure is.
- 1:01Speaker 1: She sure is out there.
- 1:02Speaker 3: School holidays else?
- 1:04Speaker 1: Yeah. School holidays. Yeah, yeah. All right. You know what
- 1:07Speaker 1: we're talking about on this podcast?
- 1:09Speaker 2: Footy.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Footy, yeah.
- 1:11Speaker 3: And for the bonus round, we're going to separate. So
- 1:13Speaker 3: the bonus round today, we're going to do AFL, and
- 1:16Speaker 3: then the normal one will talk rugby league. So you're
- 1:18Speaker 3: here for the AFL round because Corey hasn't showed yet,
- 1:21Speaker 3: so you're sitting in the big seat.
- 1:23Speaker 2: All my friends, we have this debate on would you
- 1:26Speaker 2: rather AFL or NRL?
- 1:28Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you say?
- 1:29Speaker 2: NRL always wins.
- 1:30Speaker 1: NRL? Yeah. Okay.
- 1:32Speaker 2: But there's some big AFL fans out there.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Is there? There are.
- 1:35Speaker 3: What do you reckon, like for your dad, Elsie, do
- 1:37Speaker 3: you reckon you would have rather he was an AFL
- 1:39Speaker 3: star or an NRL star? Neither.
- 1:43Speaker 1: What do you mean? Why not? Yeah, netball. I should
- 1:47Speaker 1: have played netball for Australia. Yeah, netball star. Yeah. Then
- 1:50Speaker 1: I'd be like, yeah, my dad's a netball star. Yeah.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Yours is not. Yeah. That's too bad for you.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Where would he have been in netball? Like in the middle?
- 1:58Speaker 1: Oh, he would not be a centre.
- 1:59Speaker 3: No.
- 2:00Speaker 1: He'd probably be a short. Oh, sad.
- 2:02Speaker 2: The centres are short.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm short compared to tall people.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but you're pretty tall compared to short people.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Thank you, man.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I'll take that.
- 2:11Speaker 1: That's a great way of thinking.
- 2:12Speaker 3: You are tall compared to short people. You forgot?
- 2:20Speaker 1: Yeah. You're a fucking idiot. How do you forget on
- 2:24Speaker 1: a fucking show that we do every week?
- 2:26Speaker 2: Because I'm busy.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I need to get something done before the end of
- 2:29Speaker 1: the week.
- 2:30Speaker 3: I was concreting this morning and I left it.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah. No, I just forgot. I want to see my mate.
- 2:35Speaker 3: All right.
- 2:35Speaker 1: All right. Do you want me to just do it
- 2:38Speaker 1: on FaceTime? No, no. See you, mate. That's good. Bye.
- 2:40Speaker 1: All right.
- 2:40Speaker 3: See you, mate.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Laters. All right.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Now, we've just FaceTimed Corey, who's still gardening. He forgot
- 2:49Speaker 3: we're on today.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah. He should really stay on top of his medication,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I think. Yeah.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Well, the radio show, our radio show's on holiday, so
- 2:58Speaker 3: he's a creature of habit. He's just forgotten altogether.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Now, Elsie has it to step out. Your daughter was here,
- 3:04Speaker 3: and she got bored after three minutes.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Who are these old guys? I'm out of here. Yeah. Anyway,
- 3:10Speaker 1: she was good. She helped us with the song anyway.
- 3:12Speaker 1: She was great.
- 3:13Speaker 2: She was great.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Now, let's talk AFL. So we've got, this is going
- 3:17Speaker 3: to be a cracking game. Did you see any of
- 3:19Speaker 3: the lead up games? Did you see the Dockers game?
- 3:20Speaker 2: I did see the Dockers game. Actually, the Dockers have been, like,
- 3:25Speaker 2: they surprised me. They've had a lot of effort to
- 3:29Speaker 2: hang in there.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Yeah. Their last quarters have been pretty good. Yeah. What
- 3:35Speaker 1: do they call it? Wharfie time?
- 3:37Speaker 3: Wharfie time.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah. How fun is that? It's hilarious. Proper wharfie time
- 3:41Speaker 1: is a lot different to like that. Yeah, I know.
- 3:43Speaker 1: They do like all the bells and whistles and they're
- 3:46Speaker 1: going on. Yes.
- 3:48Speaker 2: And then, yeah, the Lions, their semifinal in Brisbane was
- 3:55Speaker 2: absolutely incredible. They just blitzed it in the first kind
- 3:59Speaker 2: of quarter and no one would.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Come close to them. But that last quarter. Yeah. That
- 4:05Speaker 1: was absolutely incredible. Hawthorne had it. They had it. And
- 4:09Speaker 1: they had the game.
- 4:10Speaker 2: And I was quite nervous because Alliance third quarter was good.
- 4:15Speaker 2: They were wrestling back the lead. And I think they
- 4:21Speaker 2: started the fourth quarter really well too, actually. I think
- 4:23Speaker 2: they might have kicked the first two goals in the
- 4:26Speaker 2: fourth quarter or something like that. And, yeah, I just
- 4:29Speaker 2: thought they needed to, yeah, go for the jugular.
- 4:33Speaker 1: And they just... The Lions didn't disappear. So it was brilliant.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Like the lead up into.
- 4:39Speaker 2: This grand final has been absolutely brilliant. I think it's
- 4:42Speaker 2: the GF that most people probably thought was going to
- 4:44Speaker 2: happen anyway.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the one we wanted.
- 4:46Speaker 2: They just had to go the long way around both
- 4:48Speaker 2: teams because they lost in the first week of the finals.
- 4:50Speaker 2: But I think the Lions history tells them that I
- 4:54Speaker 2: think the first year they got into the GF and
- 4:56Speaker 2: they played Collingwood, they only won three games to get
- 5:00Speaker 2: in there.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Right. So they like.
- 5:02Speaker 2: They won the first semi, they won.
- 5:05Speaker 1: The prelim and then got into the GF. Yeah. And
- 5:08Speaker 1: then they got beaten or something like that.
- 5:09Speaker 3: So this is a better way for the Lions.
- 5:11Speaker 1: They've gone the longer way around. They almost needed a
- 5:13Speaker 1: kick in the ass.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Yeah, they did.
- 5:14Speaker 1: At the end of the day. And they got it.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that game, that Lions game was probably the best
- 5:20Speaker 3: game of football I've ever seen.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Obviously as a Lions fan, but I think Hawks fans
- 5:24Speaker 3: as well would have loved everything except for the final second. Yeah.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, the last 30 seconds sucked for the Hawks at
- 5:33Speaker 2: the end of the day. There was a cracking mark
- 5:34Speaker 2: taken and I thought the Hawks fans probably thought that
- 5:37Speaker 2: was it.
- 5:38Speaker 1: It was done and dusted.
- 5:39Speaker 2: And they kicked the goal and went out in front
- 5:42Speaker 2: and the Lions.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Just never gave up.
- 5:45Speaker 2: There was two goals kicked in the end that kind
- 5:48Speaker 2: of sealed the deal. The free kick was a free
- 5:52Speaker 2: kick at the end of the day.
- 5:53Speaker 1: It was.
- 5:53Speaker 2: It's funny, I reached out to a friend of mine who,
- 5:56Speaker 2: who works for Nike now, and I still do some
- 5:59Speaker 2: stuff with the crew at Nike, and he's an AFL referee.
- 6:04Speaker 2: And I messaged him, I said, I just want to
- 6:06Speaker 2: cover all bases, because I'll have a chance and opportunity
- 6:08Speaker 2: to talk about this. And he said that AFL referees
- 6:13Speaker 2: in the past have been criticized for putting the whistle away,
- 6:16Speaker 2: especially in the last quarter, and letting.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Games play out.
- 6:19Speaker 2: People say that it was a big call because he
- 6:23Speaker 2: actually had his whistle out, and he blew the free kick.
- 6:27Speaker 2: And it was a free kick at the end of
- 6:28Speaker 2: the day.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So it was just, it was bizarre.
- 6:31Speaker 3: The fact that he was able to then drop the ball,
- 6:33Speaker 3: when he knew the whistle was coming, he dropped the
- 6:34Speaker 3: ball onto his foot and got a kick away. It
- 6:35Speaker 3: was like, you're holding the ball. That's exactly what it is.
- 6:39Speaker 2: And then the next centre clearance was just like, I
- 6:43Speaker 2: don't know, it was absolutely incredible.
- 6:45Speaker 1: We kick it into the forward pocket, kick the goal in.
- 6:48Speaker 3: McCluggage, he put the lines in front. With like a
- 6:52Speaker 3: minute to go.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Smart tackle. Yeah, wasn't it? It was brilliant. Yeah, yeah.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Because he made sure he had one hand free.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:59Speaker 3: And it was Impey that gave away the free kick.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Now, while the rest of the Hawks are having fun
- 7:05Speaker 3: Mad Monday, is he able to enjoy himself or is
- 7:09Speaker 3: his head in it, do you reckon?
- 7:11Speaker 1: You hope so. At the end of the day, like....
- 7:15Speaker 2: You can look at a whole game over the period and, yep,
- 7:18Speaker 2: that was the defining moment.
- 7:20Speaker 1: At the end of the game.
- 7:20Speaker 2: But there was certain things throughout the whole game and
- 7:23Speaker 2: you can.
- 7:26Speaker 2: He can focus on that. Impy can focus on that
- 7:29Speaker 2: and kickstones. But I think he needed to just kind
- 7:32Speaker 2: of as quick as possible let it go. And I'm
- 7:36Speaker 2: sure there'll be, you know, in a sad way, there'll
- 7:39Speaker 2: be a lot of Hawks fans out there that will
- 7:42Speaker 2: blame him for what happened.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Very, very.
- 7:45Speaker 2: similar to the ben hunt incident in yes um in
- 7:49Speaker 2: 2015 yeah um you know so many things uh even
- 7:54Speaker 2: like for me on a personal level um we're defending
- 7:58Speaker 2: our try line and then like i don't let a
- 8:02Speaker 2: try in but my tackle lets a try in at
- 8:05Speaker 2: the end of the day so um james tarmel scores
- 8:08Speaker 2: a try yep um 99 times out of 100, I
- 8:13Speaker 2: tackle ball on the line. You always tackle ball on
- 8:15Speaker 2: the line because you want to wrap the ball up.
- 8:17Speaker 2: You don't want them to score. And if someone is
- 8:20Speaker 2: good enough to bump you off and then score the try.
- 8:23Speaker 1: They can score the try. It's a one-on-one effort.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I tackle him low for some reason, and then he
- 8:31Speaker 2: has the ability then to score the try. That happened
- 8:34Speaker 2: in the game. There was probably a knock-on. there was
- 8:39Speaker 2: a real chance and opportunity for us to shut the
- 8:41Speaker 2: play down at the end of the game before the
- 8:45Speaker 2: ball even gets out wide to Michael Morgan who flick balls.
- 8:49Speaker 2: So there's so many things throughout a game. So I
- 8:52Speaker 2: hope that he doesn't carry it for too long. I
- 8:55Speaker 2: hope he's got the ability to move on and I
- 8:57Speaker 2: hope he's got the support to move on because, again,
- 9:00Speaker 2: They've shown they're a good squad, and if they stick together,
- 9:05Speaker 2: who knows? You see what the Lions have done. They've
- 9:07Speaker 2: been in the last four grand finals. They might be
- 9:10Speaker 2: a team that's building back up to be a great
- 9:13Speaker 2: team again. It's something that I really like about the
- 9:15Speaker 2: AFL is sometimes that draft system. There's peaks and troughs
- 9:22Speaker 2: when it comes to the team, so you might be
- 9:25Speaker 2: down the bottom for a little while, but then you
- 9:27Speaker 2: get a few– great picks in the, in the draft system.
- 9:32Speaker 2: And then you kind of work those young fellas, find
- 9:34Speaker 2: their feet within the, the AFL system and then become
- 9:38Speaker 2: really good. And you can kind of see that's where
- 9:40Speaker 2: the lines are at the moment. Those young guys that
- 9:42Speaker 2: they signed, you know, a few years back when they
- 9:44Speaker 2: were struggling.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Are now our best players out there on the,
- 9:48Speaker 1: on the pitch. So yeah.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Actually speaking of our best players, Lockie Neal ruled out.
- 9:53Speaker 1: He's not playing. Yeah.
- 9:56Speaker 3: That's a massive thing. And that, effectively means that's his
- 9:59Speaker 3: last game. He's played his last game for the Lions.
- 10:02Speaker 1: He's done.
- 10:04Speaker 3: The judiciary, I think, took four hours to make the decision.
- 10:09Speaker 3: If you missed the penalty, it was an off-the-ball penalty.
- 10:12Speaker 1: It was seen by, I don't know, a drone or whatever. Yeah.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah, the footage of it is... And like, I'm all for,
- 10:18Speaker 2: you know, you're sticking up for your own players.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Yeah, because it was the aftermath of, he saw one
- 10:25Speaker 3: of the Lions players.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Yeah, on the ground. He got a bit of a, yeah,
- 10:28Speaker 1: a working over. Yeah.
- 10:30Speaker 3: So, and then he in retaliation, he's come from a
- 10:32Speaker 3: fair distance, has sort of done a, what looked like
- 10:35Speaker 3: a gut punch, but it was like a passing punch.
- 10:38Speaker 3: It didn't seem it was that hard, but the player
- 10:41Speaker 3: that he hit went down.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:43Speaker 3: And that's why it's a penalty.
- 10:44Speaker 1: And so. But he's gone and he won't play.
- 10:47Speaker 2: It's been a bit of a rollercoaster kind of, you
- 10:50Speaker 2: could say, almost 18 months for him since the last
- 10:53Speaker 2: grand final. And it's a very sad way.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Of seeing him leave. Like, he's been absolutely brilliant for
- 10:59Speaker 1: the Lions.
- 11:01Speaker 3: That last game, he was unreal.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:03Speaker 2: But, you know, you never know when your last game
- 11:07Speaker 2: is for a club, your last game within an AFL
- 11:10Speaker 2: professional career or an NRL professional career.
- 11:13Speaker 1: So.
- 11:15Speaker 2: enjoy them while they're there but he'll be the greatest
- 11:19Speaker 2: cheerleader this week and he will be doing everything he
- 11:22Speaker 2: can to help his teammates out and win that because
- 11:25Speaker 2: again he's still a part of it he doesn't get
- 11:28Speaker 2: to play on grand final day he doesn't get to
- 11:31Speaker 2: be out there on the field and you know receive
- 11:33Speaker 2: the medal but If he can help his team, he's
- 11:37Speaker 2: still a part of history.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Hypothetically speaking, so one of the things that his defense
- 11:42Speaker 3: lawyers sort of said is that he's got an impeccable
- 11:44Speaker 3: record on the field. It's not his game. It's not
- 11:48Speaker 3: what he does. However, his off-field record has been so
- 11:53Speaker 3: bad this year. You can't help but wonder whether that
- 11:57Speaker 3: played into it. Like if he'd been a clean skin
- 11:59Speaker 3: on and off the field, I reckon they let it slide.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it kind of has probably cast a shadow on
- 12:09Speaker 2: what has been a fantastic career. Yeah, it's a shadow.
- 12:14Speaker 2: And you are viewed as the full package when it
- 12:19Speaker 2: comes to being a professional sporting star. So you need
- 12:21Speaker 2: to make sure the way you present yourself off the
- 12:24Speaker 2: field and on the field is the person that you
- 12:27Speaker 2: want to be perceived to be.
- 12:28Speaker 3: I reckon Freo would be pretty happy that he's not playing.
- 12:31Speaker 3: He's an ex-Freo player, but like, you know, four years
- 12:33Speaker 3: ago before he came to the line. Yeah. Yeah. Cause
- 12:35Speaker 3: last time the Dockers played in the grand finals, 2015
- 12:38Speaker 3: and Lockie Neal is the only remaining player that actually
- 12:42Speaker 3: played in it. Oh, so yeah.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Sees the universe saying no one else. No more. No more. Done.
- 12:48Speaker 1: No more for you.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Um, now, uh, Kylie Minogue is lined up to be the, uh, the,
- 12:53Speaker 3: the musical act for the AFL.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I hope that, um, We see a guest appearance by
- 12:58Speaker 2: Warwick Capper wearing the Kylie Minogue shorts.
- 13:01Speaker 1: The hot pants. Yes. What about it? And just have him.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I'm spinning around. Get out of my way.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Have you had to zoom in on Warwick's ass doing la, la, la.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. And then spin around and it's Kylie. Yeah.
- 13:19Speaker 3: No.
- 13:19Speaker 1: No, don't zoom in on the front. He's getting a
- 13:23Speaker 1: bit older. He is.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Yeah, might be a little bit of each way there,
- 13:27Speaker 2: each way better.
- 13:29Speaker 3: And meanwhile, NRL have said, we're not even going to
- 13:32Speaker 3: have a musical act because Tones and I, who was
- 13:34Speaker 3: all lined up, Tones and I has refused to do
- 13:37Speaker 3: her biggest hit, which is the Dance Monkey song. And
- 13:40Speaker 3: she said, no, I'm not doing Dance Monkey. And NRL
- 13:43Speaker 3: have said, well, if you're not doing Dance Monkey, you're
- 13:44Speaker 3: not on. There's a little bit of.
- 13:47Speaker 1: She refuses to dance monkey.
- 13:49Speaker 3: The irony of that song, I think that song is
- 13:52Speaker 3: about being a record label's puppet and then going, get
- 13:55Speaker 3: out there and dance monkey. And so you can see
- 13:58Speaker 3: why she's now refusing to dance like a monkey. But
- 14:02Speaker 3: for a million bucks, I would dance like a monkey.
- 14:04Speaker 1: 100%. Far out. Yeah, yeah.
- 14:07Speaker 3: So that's what she's saying no to.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You know what? We should throw a hat in the ring.
- 14:11Speaker 1: We could. Sing.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Yeah. I'll just do a little... It can't be as
- 14:15Speaker 1: bad as... Meatloaf? Meatloaf was bad.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Meatloaf was the worst thing I've ever seen.
- 14:21Speaker 1: That was AFL, wasn't it? That was AFL. What were
- 14:24Speaker 1: some of the bad ones?
- 14:25Speaker 3: Well, we had Billy Idol that time when his microphone
- 14:28Speaker 3: didn't work.
- 14:29Speaker 1: They lost power. Yes, they lost power. He was on
- 14:31Speaker 1: the hovercraft. He didn't even sing. He got a million
- 14:34Speaker 1: bucks for nothing.
- 14:35Speaker 3: He went out for hovercrafting.
- 14:38Speaker 1: What else was there?
- 14:39Speaker 3: Lionel Richie wasn't great at AFL.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Oh, you didn't see that? Can't even remember that.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Yeah, Lionel wasn't excellent.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Don't do it to me one more time, Lionel. Yeah,
- 14:52Speaker 2: let's bloody, you know, they should do it. The old
- 14:55Speaker 2: bloody Rock of Stedford and whoever wins the Rock of
- 14:57Speaker 2: Stedford can.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Play out of it.
- 15:00Speaker 3: It wouldn't be worse than the meat.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to the AFL Grand Final. I'm looking
- 15:10Speaker 2: forward to who gets into the NRL Grand Final. Yes.
- 15:14Speaker 2: And I just love how it just, I don't know,
- 15:17Speaker 2: sports just makes me so happy.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Yeah, how good is it?
- 15:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't wait for the AFL Grand Final. And then, yeah,
- 15:24Speaker 3: then we've got another week for the, for the granny,
- 15:27Speaker 3: but we've got, we'll, we'll get into the NRL teams
- 15:29Speaker 3: this weekend in the, uh, podcast proper.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Rachel did ask me, what are you going to do
- 15:33Speaker 2: when it's all done? I said, babe, we've got the
- 15:35Speaker 2: world cup still on.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Yeah, we've got plenty. We've got a few more weeks.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Very good.
- 15:41Speaker 3: And, uh, well, the other thing we've got coming up
- 15:43Speaker 3: is the boxing as well.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Yes. The G train. Yeah.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Versus big, uh, big nasty Nelson.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:49Speaker 3: That's going to be, I mean, I mean, Nelson's not
- 15:53Speaker 3: a boxer, um, What's he had, five fights or something?
- 15:57Speaker 1: He is a proper brawler.
- 16:00Speaker 2: He swings for the hills and he wants to take
- 16:03Speaker 2: your head off.
- 16:04Speaker 1: I love that.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Gal's going to have to be very careful. Gal's going
- 16:07Speaker 2: to have to box him. But I've got mad respect
- 16:10Speaker 2: for Gal, especially after he fought Justice Hooney. And he
- 16:15Speaker 2: got absolutely hammered in that and he kept on showing up.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Round by round. He's tough.
- 16:21Speaker 2: It was the last round that the referee called it off. Um,
- 16:25Speaker 2: because he was taking a little bit too much punishment.
- 16:28Speaker 2: But after that fight, I was like, actually, Gal's a,
- 16:30Speaker 2: he's a good fighter.
- 16:31Speaker 3: He was never going to throw in the towel, was he?
- 16:32Speaker 1: No, never, never.
- 16:34Speaker 2: So, yeah, I think, uh, that's, he'll have his game plan. Uh,
- 16:39Speaker 2: and I think that, oh, I think I'll, I've nailed.
- 16:43Speaker 1: This quote, buddy.
- 16:44Speaker 2: He said, uh, the, the guys from, uh, no limit boxing, um,
- 16:50Speaker 2: offered him a number that he couldn't refuse.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Right. So I would love to know how much he's
- 16:55Speaker 1: getting paid.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:56Speaker 3: What, how much, how much would you- He loves money.
- 16:58Speaker 3: How much would you.
- 16:59Speaker 1: He loves it. Yeah. It's like money, his wife, and
- 17:03Speaker 1: then kids. Yeah. Yeah. That's, that's gals. Yeah. That's his
- 17:08Speaker 1: holy trinity right there.
- 17:09Speaker 3: And somehow I've got to beef with him. This is
- 17:10Speaker 3: what you're saying.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Hang on.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Now, what about how much money? Is there a dollar
- 17:16Speaker 3: figure for a real fight against Nelson that you would
- 17:19Speaker 3: go in the ring with him?
- 17:20Speaker 1: Of course. Yeah? Yeah. You would do it? Yeah. Yeah.
- 17:23Speaker 1: What is it? $ 10 million. $ 10 million.
- 17:26Speaker 3: An absurd amount.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
