Prayer: From Communion to Communication (Part 2)
We can receive clear answers from God, but whenever I pray over difficult issues, I ask the Lord for written confirmation in Scripture.
This truth became real to me during my imprisonment. After being sentenced to up to ten years, I had a vision of being released, returning home to London, and preaching to 10,000 people at the Royal Albert Hall on Easter Monday. Nine months later, after smuggling a Bible into my cell, I asked God to confirm the vision in writing through the Psalms. He led me straight to Psalm 35:18: "I will give You thanks in the great assembly."
