- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York Kate Still Mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: Simonne Show on seven tenor.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Hey, we got a lot to get to today. We'll
- 0:17Speaker 2: get to the building collapse, exactly why it happened and
- 0:20Speaker 2: what's going on there. We'll get to I've had enough
- 0:22Speaker 2: of this FIFA, but we'll have to talk about it.
- 0:24Speaker 2: We'll get to President Trump, We'll get to NATO, the Ukraine,
- 0:27Speaker 2: we'll get to Erdigon, We'll get to Spain, we'll get
- 0:30Speaker 2: to Greenland, We'll get to Iran scum as the President
- 0:36Speaker 2: calls them, and what's going to happen next in Iran.
- 0:39Speaker 2: We'll get the platinir in the mid terms, and a
- 0:41Speaker 2: whole lot more coming up. So that building collapse, it's
- 0:46Speaker 2: forty second Street between Second and third, and they had
- 0:50Speaker 2: closed off like a five block area around there. They've
- 0:54Speaker 2: shrunken that frozen zone now so it's basically no traffic
- 0:58Speaker 2: forty second forty third between second and third and it's
- 1:03Speaker 2: just a block or two in either direction. But here's
- 1:07Speaker 2: what caused this building collapse. It was formerly the headquarters
- 1:11Speaker 2: of Peiser, the big drug company, maker of Viagra. By
- 1:16Speaker 2: the way, there's a joke there somewhere that the maker
- 1:20Speaker 2: of Viagara is shrinking, collapsing the building. You make your
- 1:24Speaker 2: own joke there. But Peiser left and it's a big, huge,
- 1:30Speaker 2: huge skyscraper and they decided to convert it to residential.
- 1:35Speaker 2: This is not easy to do, and it's going to
- 1:38Speaker 2: happen more and more. It's happening around the city. Usually
- 1:41Speaker 2: older office buildings that nobody would want to move into,
- 1:44Speaker 2: so they convert them to residential. You know, if they're
- 1:47Speaker 2: old and works for residential, doesn't work for an office.
- 1:52Speaker 2: But this Feiser conversion to residential, it was going to
- 1:56Speaker 2: be sixteen hundred units. That's huge. That's how big a building.
- 2:02Speaker 2: It's like a fifty sixty story skyscraper. So sixteen hundred
- 2:08Speaker 2: units very unusual for an apartment building in the middle
- 2:11Speaker 2: of Manhattan. Those doormen at Christmas are going to be
- 2:16Speaker 2: very happy. That's sixteen hundred tenants. That's a lot of tips.
- 2:21Speaker 2: So they're converting the building. And now picture of the building.
- 2:26Speaker 2: It's a big, fat skyscraper and it goes up and
- 2:31Speaker 2: at the twentieth floor it gets smaller. You know what
- 2:33Speaker 2: I mean, it's this wide. The building is the entire
- 2:36Speaker 2: footprint of the lot. And then at a certain floor,
- 2:40Speaker 2: it gets smaller and it's like only half the width,
- 2:45Speaker 2: and then from the twentieth floor up, it's like half
- 2:47Speaker 2: the width. So what they tried to do was make
- 2:50Speaker 2: it the full width all the way up. So at
- 2:53Speaker 2: the twentieth floor they were adding for half the building.
- 2:57Speaker 2: They were adding like twenty more stories on top, and
- 3:00Speaker 2: that's what caused those steel beams to buckle. They couldn't
- 3:04Speaker 2: hold an extra twenty stories on top, and the beams
- 3:08Speaker 2: started to buckle, and the workmen, construction workers saw it
- 3:12Speaker 2: and knew this was a serious emergency, and they called
- 3:16Speaker 2: for an evacuation. Everybody got out of the building and
- 3:19Speaker 2: it started to buckle, and it was emergency. Everything came
- 3:24Speaker 2: flying in and they realized how bad this is. The
- 3:27Speaker 2: building's unstable. They don't think it'll topple because it's a
- 3:30Speaker 2: steel building. They think it'll pancake down like the World
- 3:33Speaker 2: Trade Center did. But besides all that, they were bricks
- 3:37Speaker 2: and glass and all sorts of things flying off the building.
- 3:40Speaker 2: That's why they had to close the streets around there. Now,
- 3:43Speaker 2: I don't know what you do about this. They're going
- 3:44Speaker 2: to have to figure out a way to stabilize those
- 3:51Speaker 2: beams so it can hold the new twenty stories on
- 3:53Speaker 2: top of them. But I don't think that's possible. If
- 3:56Speaker 2: there was a way to do that, they would have
- 3:57Speaker 2: done that when they were building the building. So they
- 3:59Speaker 2: may have to take it all down. So this could
- 4:02Speaker 2: be a frozen zone for a long time. Who knows.
- 4:05Speaker 2: It could be weeks, it could be a year. Who
- 4:07Speaker 2: knows to take down all of this stuff. The company
- 4:12Speaker 2: building this doesn't look like the greatest geniuses in the
- 4:15Speaker 2: world to have this happen to them. And if you
- 4:18Speaker 2: check their record, they got a lot of violations. They've
- 4:21Speaker 2: been paying a lot of fines, and they're be getting
- 4:23Speaker 2: a lot of violations over the last year. And I
- 4:27Speaker 2: would imagine whoever the architect was who decided to add
- 4:32Speaker 2: twenty floors on top of those beams, didn't do his
- 4:38Speaker 2: homework to know that the beams wouldn't be able to
- 4:40Speaker 2: support it. So it's an absolute disaster. Mom, Donnie loved
- 4:46Speaker 2: it because this is what he does now. Whenever there's
- 4:49Speaker 2: an emergency of some kind of weather or a flood,
- 4:52Speaker 2: a building collapse, he shows up there with that mayor
- 4:56Speaker 2: emergency jacket on and acts like he's in charge. Pretends
- 4:58Speaker 2: he knows what he's talking about.
- 5:00Speaker 3: First responders and structural engineers are working closely with the
- 5:03Speaker 3: project engineer to develop plans to shore up the impacted floor.
- 5:08Speaker 3: If the floor is deemed to be secure, engineers will
- 5:11Speaker 3: enter and begin shoring up the building. As we await
- 5:15Speaker 3: the arrivals of materials that will stabilize the building, DOB
- 5:18Speaker 3: engineers have been investigating with FD and Y drones.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Hey, he sounds like he knows what he's talking about.
- 5:23Speaker 2: He doesn't. But if you talk fast and you talk
- 5:25Speaker 2: to he's I'm very official and talk very fast, people
- 5:27Speaker 2: think you know what you're talking about.
- 5:29Speaker 3: I'm grateful to report that there have been no injuries
- 5:31Speaker 3: at this time and that every worker has been accounted for.
- 5:35Speaker 3: The NYPD has instituted a frozen zone from fortieth to
- 5:39Speaker 3: forty fifth streets between first.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Year and I actually shrunk that down. That was yesterday.
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's shrunken down to like forty third to forty first.
- 5:47Speaker 2: He used to work on that block. There's a lot
- 5:49Speaker 2: of stuff on that block. WPIX TV is on that block.
- 5:53Speaker 2: They were forced to move evacuate their building and move outside.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Broadcast from outside Yesterday. News Nation is also in the
- 6:00Speaker 2: building also forced to move outside. Across the street from
- 6:04Speaker 2: this building is the Daily News building that's where WPIX is,
- 6:09Speaker 2: legendary building two twenty East forty second Street, and also
- 6:12Speaker 2: the Weston Hotel which had to evacuate because of this
- 6:17Speaker 2: building collapse. So everybody in the hotel all kinds of
- 6:20Speaker 2: emergency alarms went off. They were the big PA system.
- 6:24Speaker 2: You have to evacuate the building immediately, So everybody had
- 6:27Speaker 2: to evacuate the hotel. They were eventually allowed back in
- 6:30Speaker 2: just to get their bags, just to get their baggage
- 6:33Speaker 2: and stuff and get out. They had like ten minutes
- 6:35Speaker 2: to go in and collect everything and leave. So the
- 6:39Speaker 2: hotel is still evacuated, so everybody in the hotel now
- 6:43Speaker 2: forced to find other accommodations. Mom Donnie on the scene
- 6:48Speaker 2: with that emergency jacket on.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Two structural columns have buckled. In addition to multiple cracks
- 6:53Speaker 3: and sagging floors. The building remains unstable. Since arriving on scene,
- 6:59Speaker 3: we have witnessed a movement in one of the compromise columns.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so again half the building on the twentieth floor
- 7:07Speaker 2: had nothing above it, so they added like twenty floors
- 7:10Speaker 2: on top of this half and these beams can't hold it.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I don't know how you're going to fix that. And
- 7:17Speaker 2: that's the other thing. They're going to have to bring
- 7:18Speaker 2: in all kinds of engineering geniuses to look at this,
- 7:22Speaker 2: and that's going to take weeks for them to figure
- 7:25Speaker 2: out how to fix it, whether they've got to tear
- 7:27Speaker 2: the whole thing down or figure out if there's a
- 7:29Speaker 2: way to fix those beams and give them the support
- 7:33Speaker 2: they need. I doubt it. And again, the company building
- 7:36Speaker 2: this building, they don't look like the greatest geniuses. So
- 7:40Speaker 2: I don't know who's going to arrange for all this
- 7:42Speaker 2: to take care of all of this. This is Esposito.
- 7:46Speaker 4: The box beams, the steel beams have started to bend
- 7:49Speaker 4: and deflect from the weight. We evacuated the building and
- 7:53Speaker 4: started evacuations of surrounding buildings, and the building has continued
- 7:58Speaker 4: to move since we've been.
- 7:59Speaker 2: On the Yeah, Esposito police chief, I believe they all
- 8:06Speaker 2: sound like sid from Blue Bloods. That's how you know
- 8:08Speaker 2: they're police. But anyway, we'll see what happens. That's going
- 8:12Speaker 2: to be a long situation fixing that. And the problem
- 8:16Speaker 2: is you don't have a great mayor right now. You've
- 8:18Speaker 2: got a mayor who's twelve years old, never had a
- 8:21Speaker 2: job before, not a management guy. This is where you
- 8:25Speaker 2: need a Rudy Giuliani or Mike Bloomberg who would start
- 8:29Speaker 2: managing this, bringing in every expert from all over the
- 8:31Speaker 2: world to see how fast you could get this fixed.
- 8:35Speaker 2: So we'll get back to the building now. President Trump,
- 8:39Speaker 2: of course, was in Turkey two days of talks with NATO,
- 8:44Speaker 2: and he's not happy with a lot of people there.
- 8:46Speaker 2: In fact, he's talking about cutting off Spain, cutting off
- 8:49Speaker 2: Spain from all business, tourism, everything, because when we needed
- 8:54Speaker 2: them the most in this Iran war, Spain not only
- 8:57Speaker 2: wouldn't help, they refuse to let us use their their
- 9:00Speaker 2: air bases anything. They were totally totally uncooperative with us.
- 9:05Speaker 2: So I can understand him, Yeah, cut them off, cut
- 9:09Speaker 2: them off. In fact, all the NATO he kind of
- 9:11Speaker 2: let them have it because they were of no help.
- 9:14Speaker 2: And you know, if there was ever a problem with
- 9:16Speaker 2: a NATO country, we're supposed to go in and rescue them.
- 9:20Speaker 2: But when we needed a little help, we didn't need
- 9:22Speaker 2: much of anything to let us use an air baser,
- 9:24Speaker 2: lend us a ship or nothing, nothing. So I think
- 9:28Speaker 2: you're going to see all funding cut to NATO. Let
- 9:31Speaker 2: them fend for themselves, you know, let them become Ukraine.
- 9:35Speaker 2: And that's a good example, because Ukraine was totally dependent
- 9:39Speaker 2: on us. We had to give money and weapons and everything.
- 9:42Speaker 2: And over the last couple of years, they built their
- 9:44Speaker 2: own weapons factory, their own drones factory. They're totally independent.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Now they don't need our money, they don't need our help.
- 9:50Speaker 2: They can build all the drones they need, and they're
- 9:53Speaker 2: gonna able to not only hold the Russians off, they
- 9:56Speaker 2: may even start to win this thing. So President Trump
- 10:01Speaker 2: has been talking to Putin. More and more. Putin realizes
- 10:05Speaker 2: he's not going to win and there's possibility could actually
- 10:09Speaker 2: lose this. So he and Trump are talking. There could
- 10:14Speaker 2: be a deal, and it'll probably happen, not right away,
- 10:17Speaker 2: but just before the midterms. Couldn't just keep an eye
- 10:21Speaker 2: on this. The Ukraine War could be settled by President Trump.
- 10:25Speaker 2: He is talking to Putin.
- 10:26Speaker 5: I had a very good talk with President Putin, who,
- 10:29Speaker 5: by the way, has a lot of respect for President
- 10:33Speaker 5: a lot of respect for him. We had a long
- 10:36Speaker 5: talk yesterday less than a long time. And I also
- 10:39Speaker 5: spoke with President Jolynsky right after that.
- 10:43Speaker 2: I think they both want to make a deal. Yeah,
- 10:45Speaker 2: so expect that to happen just before the midterms. Erdigon
- 10:49Speaker 2: is the president of Turkey. Now they're totally awful. Erdigon
- 10:52Speaker 2: is awful. We should not be giving them anything, but
- 10:55Speaker 2: we're giving them fighter planes and fighter jets. But it's
- 10:58Speaker 2: all part of a chess game that has to do
- 11:00Speaker 2: with Iran, has to do with Russia, has to do
- 11:02Speaker 2: with Ukraine. Net Nyaho not happy about this, but we will.
- 11:07Speaker 2: We're not giving them planes, we're selling them plays.
- 11:09Speaker 5: The decision we're going to make. We have a very
- 11:14Speaker 5: good relationship. I would think that many people. I can
- 11:18Speaker 5: tell you many people, including the people sitting right here, thinks,
- 11:22Speaker 5: you know, why wouldn't we do that. We have a
- 11:24Speaker 5: better relationship with Turkey, and Turkey has been in many
- 11:27Speaker 5: ways much more loyal than other countries that we think
- 11:29Speaker 5: would be loyal.
- 11:31Speaker 2: It's a good point. Well, we needed help Iran. Turkey
- 11:34Speaker 2: helped more than these NATO countries. You wouldn't expect that,
- 11:37Speaker 2: but that's the way it worked. Net Niyah, who is
- 11:42Speaker 2: speaking to Trump but through a cable TV, through social media,
- 11:45Speaker 2: and you see the decline in support for Israel.
- 11:48Speaker 6: Okay, and it's years before, several years before the guys
- 11:53Speaker 6: of war took place. Okay, And you asked why did
- 11:56Speaker 6: that happen? Well, the one correlation you see, which is
- 11:59Speaker 6: all what was a perfect correlation, is the penetration of
- 12:03Speaker 6: TikTok and other social media in the United States. And
- 12:07Speaker 6: as the penetration increases, the support for Israel decreases. And
- 12:11Speaker 6: let me tell you something else, the support for America decreases.
- 12:16Speaker 2: That's an interesting theory. You know, why did this anti
- 12:18Speaker 2: Semitism all of a sudden the last year or two
- 12:22Speaker 2: or three whatever, go crazy and it just explode. Well
- 12:26Speaker 2: he could be right, social media, Instagram, but remember all
- 12:33Speaker 2: that stuff, all that digital stuff, it's just a magnifying glass.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Behavior never changes, never. So whatever people are doing on
- 12:42Speaker 2: TikTok anstry, they were doing it anyway, they just weren't
- 12:44Speaker 2: doing it on such a big platform. You know, like
- 12:46Speaker 2: people putting up pictures of what they ate. Well, if
- 12:49Speaker 2: you study history in the days of the cave Man,
- 12:53Speaker 2: when they put hieroglyphics on the wall, there were actually
- 12:56Speaker 2: they found that some people put up what they had
- 12:58Speaker 2: for lunch. That kind of stuff. So human behavior doesn't change,
- 13:02Speaker 2: it just moves to a different medium. So TikTok, Instagram,
- 13:06Speaker 2: whatever they're doing on there, they were doing it anyway.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It's just now they're doing it on a much greater
- 13:11Speaker 2: scale and it's exploding much faster. So also you've got
- 13:16Speaker 2: the Democrats going crazy with anti Semitism, communism, socialism, and
- 13:23Speaker 2: they'll always remember it's the Mam Donnis that are the
- 13:26Speaker 2: greedy ones. The socialists are the greedy ones. It's the
- 13:30Speaker 2: socialists that like to take Elon Musk put up a
- 13:34Speaker 2: great thing today about somebody put up. It wasn't him,
- 13:39Speaker 2: it was its a mom. Donnie is just a taker.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Elon Musk is a maker. He makes things. Mom Donnie
- 13:46Speaker 2: just takes things. That's the thing about Democrats and socialists, Socialists,
- 13:51Speaker 2: socialist communists the greediest people of all. They want to
- 13:54Speaker 2: take your money, they want to tax you to death,
- 13:55Speaker 2: they want to take everything. They want to seize things.
- 13:58Speaker 2: They want to seize your property, seize your business, sees everything.
- 14:02Speaker 2: They're the greedy ones. They're not about going out and
- 14:04Speaker 2: earning stuff. They're just take sees. That's the socialist So
- 14:09Speaker 2: uh hey uh stampway I just heard that on the news.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Price of Forever stamps up till of what eighty three cents?
- 14:17Speaker 2: The people still use stamps. Yeah, online banking is great.
- 14:20Speaker 2: You got to be careful with it sometimes because well,
- 14:22Speaker 2: because you can do your online banking with the utilities
- 14:25Speaker 2: with American Express, the credit card company, but when it
- 14:28Speaker 2: comes to a lot of things, they don't have a
- 14:30Speaker 2: portal that you can use to pay on and sometimes
- 14:33Speaker 2: you gotta be careful with this. You pay the bill
- 14:35Speaker 2: online and it didn't go to exactly the right account.
- 14:38Speaker 2: That happens sometimes. Hey, by the way, you might have
- 14:42Speaker 2: gotten a letter from your bank that they're taking away
- 14:46Speaker 2: your safe deposit box. And if you didn't get a
- 14:50Speaker 2: letter like that, you're going to get it pretty soon.
- 14:53Speaker 2: And you get this lettery oh, you think you're being
- 14:55Speaker 2: debanked like Donald Trump, but says you have until September
- 14:58Speaker 2: to clean out your safe deposit box. We're no longer
- 15:01Speaker 2: going to provide it for you. And I know Chase
- 15:04Speaker 2: is doing that a lot of banks. It's just a
- 15:06Speaker 2: new thing in banking. A safe deposit boxes cost them money.
- 15:11Speaker 2: They don't make any money off it. It takes up
- 15:14Speaker 2: a lot of physical space to have a lot of
- 15:15Speaker 2: safe deposit boxes, requires a lot of real estate, so
- 15:20Speaker 2: it costs a fortune, and then they have to maintain
- 15:22Speaker 2: it and guard it and don't make any profit on it.
- 15:25Speaker 2: So banks getting rid of safe deposit boxes. They've also
- 15:28Speaker 2: found that in today's world, just about everything really important
- 15:32Speaker 2: is digital. Nobody needs an actual safe deposit box. So
- 15:36Speaker 2: but when you get that letter, don't think you're being
- 15:38Speaker 2: d banked. It's just the safe deposit box. Trump got
- 15:42Speaker 2: that letter one day from Chase saying he was being debanked.
- 15:46Speaker 2: They would no longer take him as a customer. All
- 15:48Speaker 2: his accounts would be closed. And you know how the
- 15:51Speaker 2: most awful letter you can get. You know how the
- 15:53Speaker 2: letter ended. At the end, it said thank you for
- 15:57Speaker 2: your attention to this matter. That's where he got the phrase.
- 16:02Speaker 2: That's why he uses it all the time. He's a
- 16:05Speaker 2: trolling Chase by using that that line all the time. Hey,
- 16:08Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next eight hundred three to two
- 16:11Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three
- 16:15Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten Today's insight. Tomorrow's headline march
- 16:21Speaker 2: them up seven ten wo R. Hey, let's take some calls.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Let's go to Jay in New Jersey, j How you doing, Hey, Mark?
- 16:31Speaker 7: What do you think about the fact that.
- 16:33Speaker 8: The Charlie Kirks Trot murderer might not go to actual
- 16:37Speaker 8: trial until twenty twenty eight? He that is not crazier.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Well, hopefully that will. We'll speed up. They'll get it
- 16:46Speaker 2: done sooner than that. It's just a horrible case. They
- 16:49Speaker 2: do have the death penalty in that state. That's the
- 16:52Speaker 2: one good thing. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 16:54Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 16:56Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark, as Mike, So the erection of this
- 17:00Speaker 7: Phizor building is on hold, I guess for a while. Well,
- 17:03Speaker 7: what I think we can all relate to that? The
- 17:06Speaker 7: erection of the fire.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I got it all right, all right, I totally make
- 17:11Speaker 2: your show there. Pfizer makes viagra, but exactly it doesn't
- 17:18Speaker 2: building building too. Oh you did, Yeah? I used to
- 17:20Speaker 2: work across the street w p I X.
- 17:23Speaker 9: Yeah I did too.
- 17:24Speaker 7: I worked at p I X. I was when I
- 17:26Speaker 7: was a stage manager, and it was a great neighborhood.
- 17:28Speaker 7: I would walk over to Tudor City like at dinner
- 17:31Speaker 7: time and really, you know, relax over there, and it
- 17:34Speaker 7: was a really nice neighborhood to walk around and sometimes.
- 17:37Speaker 2: But I'm trying to remember in those good old days, uh,
- 17:40Speaker 2: when we went out, you know, at every station you
- 17:42Speaker 2: go eat around the corner, you go get food from somewhere.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Where did we go back then? I can't remember.
- 17:46Speaker 8: There wasn't there weren't a whole lot of places.
- 17:48Speaker 9: There were a couple of places on Second Avenue.
- 17:50Speaker 7: It was a Chinese record restaurant on Second Avenue that
- 17:52Speaker 7: I would go to every once in a while. And
- 17:55Speaker 7: there was a Blondie Stone or one of those on
- 17:58Speaker 7: Third and a half.
- 17:58Speaker 2: You oh, you know, pa, great, all right now, I
- 18:01Speaker 2: remember it was all not so hot places. It was smilers.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Remember that was like the bode Yes, smilers, Blarney Stone, tads,
- 18:10Speaker 2: you know it. It wasn't great. It was nothing great.
- 18:12Speaker 7: But no, it wasn't great.
- 18:13Speaker 9: You had to go.
- 18:14Speaker 7: You had to go more downtown on Second or Third
- 18:16Speaker 7: Avenue to get to like sergeants.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's right, sergeant. That was the best. That
- 18:20Speaker 2: was the best takeout place around there. Ye all right,
- 18:22Speaker 2: my great call, Thanks for calling. Now. A few years
- 18:25Speaker 2: later I worked at W and E. W, which was
- 18:27Speaker 2: around the corner. By then you had docs that by
- 18:30Speaker 2: then you had a lot of great restaurants opening. Let's
- 18:32Speaker 2: go to Oh it's Richie Gold, the great comedian. Richie Gold.
- 18:35Speaker 2: How you doing, good, Mark? How were you good?
- 18:40Speaker 10: Great show as usual? And I want to compliment you
- 18:43Speaker 10: about a week or two of Gold you were covering
- 18:45Speaker 10: for having and you did a great job. Right, it
- 18:47Speaker 10: was a great show.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Well, thanks a lot. Did you ever work with you
- 18:51Speaker 2: ever work with Rhonda Shear?
- 18:54Speaker 10: I know Wanda as many many years ago, but I
- 18:58Speaker 10: never worked for it was a good comedy, good comedian.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Oh okay, because she's out in the hall, she's coming
- 19:02Speaker 2: on next.
- 19:03Speaker 10: So oh, very good comedian. I want to tell you
- 19:06Speaker 10: I will stay on along just where I thought. There's
- 19:09Speaker 10: a law on the books passed in nineteen fifty four
- 19:12Speaker 10: called the Communist Control Island stigned by President Eisenhower, enacted
- 19:18Speaker 10: by Congress. Any member of the Communist Party or exus
- 19:23Speaker 10: any of those manifestos of the Communists are not allowed
- 19:26Speaker 10: to hold power in any government office in the United States, federal, state,
- 19:31Speaker 10: or local. This is how you stop communists in this country,
- 19:34Speaker 10: right now? What do you think?
- 19:36Speaker 2: I agree?
- 19:36Speaker 9: Good?
- 19:37Speaker 2: Good point, Richie Gold. Thanks thanks for calling. Yeah, well
- 19:40Speaker 2: they'll say they're socialists, but it's exactly the same thing.
- 19:43Speaker 2: It's just socialism comes through an election. Communism usually through
- 19:47Speaker 2: a revolution. But that's a good it's a democracy. It
- 19:52Speaker 2: should be. If you're a communist or anywhere in that direction,
- 19:57Speaker 2: you can't hold an elective office. Let's go to Bob
- 19:59Speaker 2: and Florida.
- 20:00Speaker 11: Bob, how you doing, Good morning, Mark, thanks for taking
- 20:04Speaker 11: my call. Just very quickly. What Trump was accused of
- 20:08Speaker 11: with this woman supposedly happened at Bondwood Teller.
- 20:12Speaker 2: And Burgdorff Goodman.
- 20:15Speaker 10: Oh it was Burgdorf.
- 20:17Speaker 8: Yeah, okay, that I'm one hundred percent wrong.
- 20:19Speaker 7: I thought it was Bondwood Teller.
- 20:20Speaker 2: What are you doing it? What are you doing in
- 20:22Speaker 2: Bondwood Teller? You're in there to chase women, aren't you? Yeah,
- 20:26Speaker 2: that's what you were doing.
- 20:27Speaker 11: There was when I was a kid, you know. So
- 20:30Speaker 11: you know what a shame it was in there, because
- 20:32Speaker 11: those women have been there for years and Trump has
- 20:35Speaker 11: never been.
- 20:35Speaker 10: In the store.
- 20:36Speaker 9: No.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Well we know this now because I know everybody works
- 20:39Speaker 2: in Burgduft Goodman's Women's store. Don't ask him why, but uh,
- 20:43Speaker 2: they've all been there for years. Trump has never set
- 20:46Speaker 2: foot and I've checked with everybody who works there. Trump
- 20:48Speaker 2: came to the men's store, which is across the street,
- 20:50Speaker 2: the Burgdorff Men's store. He was there twice every time.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Both times he came, he came with the two guys
- 20:56Speaker 2: security guys type and it's a standard pol seat in Bergduff.
- 21:00Speaker 2: When anybody of that note comes into the store, the
- 21:05Speaker 2: salesman and a manager are to accompany them the whole visit,
- 21:09Speaker 2: the entire visit, so that would have been the case. However,
- 21:12Speaker 2: he never went to the women's store. Her story is
- 21:15Speaker 2: absolutely crazy. Hey, actually, Rondaser is here in person. We
- 21:19Speaker 2: don't usually have guests in the studio. We hate when
- 21:22Speaker 2: they're in the studio, but we'll make an exception for her,
- 21:26Speaker 2: Steve Sharippa. We make an exception for certain people are
- 21:29Speaker 2: okay to have in this sty But we'll talk to
- 21:31Speaker 2: her next lest she's gonna be on the view today.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Why how well, we'll find out in a moment on
- 21:37Speaker 2: seven to ten w O r LB.
- 21:39Speaker 1: The Mark Simon Show Live from the wor Life Back Studios.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Well, guess who's here now. We never allow guests in
- 21:48Speaker 2: the studio because it's horrible. They come in with twenty
- 21:51Speaker 2: five people, six of them want to use the bathroom.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Eight of them need to know the Wi Fi passed
- 21:56Speaker 2: where ten of them want coffee. It ties up everybody.
- 22:00Speaker 2: We make a very rare exception. Steve Sharipa is one
- 22:04Speaker 2: and we always make one for and well she doesn't
- 22:07Speaker 2: come that off an culter. But roder Syear is here
- 22:11Speaker 2: in the studio.
- 22:12Speaker 12: Hi, I'm so excited to see He's so adorable in person.
- 22:16Speaker 12: You should see him everybody.
- 22:17Speaker 2: And you look so beautiful.
- 22:19Speaker 12: I know, but I don't have anything low cut on
- 22:20Speaker 12: for you.
- 22:21Speaker 2: You don't need it. Just from the neck up. Badley
- 22:25Speaker 2: and her husband, Van is here to Supervise's amazing.
- 22:28Speaker 12: Don't worry everybody. I'm flirting with Mark in front of
- 22:31Speaker 12: Van because Van doesn't care. I've known Van since I'm
- 22:32Speaker 12: twelve and the reason why we broke up at sixteen
- 22:35Speaker 12: is because I flirted. So I'm here to flirt with Mark.
- 22:37Speaker 12: I alread hugged him and I got to make up
- 22:38Speaker 12: all of his his suit and he does actually dress
- 22:41Speaker 12: up every day for work like you're dressed to kill.
- 22:44Speaker 2: This isn't dressed up.
- 22:45Speaker 12: You have a jacket on. Who wears a jacket is
- 22:47Speaker 12: Van's on? I would he would have so much more
- 22:50Speaker 12: sex if he wore a jacket. Women love.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I have a feeling when you're not around. Van knows
- 22:56Speaker 2: what he's doing. Don't worry.
- 22:58Speaker 12: He's a good businessman. That's it. Who knew little Van
- 23:01Speaker 12: Fagan from New Orleans?
- 23:03Speaker 2: Wow? So uh now you're here in New York and
- 23:07Speaker 2: what you did the view?
- 23:08Speaker 9: Right?
- 23:08Speaker 12: I did the view? Wait, you'll love this. So I
- 23:10Speaker 12: put it on my social media.
- 23:12Speaker 2: But it's going to be on today.
- 23:13Speaker 12: It's on today.
- 23:13Speaker 2: People can watch it today.
- 23:14Speaker 12: Yes, I did the view, but I didn't do the
- 23:17Speaker 12: view like on the panel. But all my fans, fans,
- 23:19Speaker 12: social media people all but oh wow, give them hell,
- 23:23Speaker 12: oh wow, you're on there. One guy defriended me because
- 23:25Speaker 12: I was on there, so you know it's either I
- 23:29Speaker 12: had both sides going yay and so anyway, I did
- 23:32Speaker 12: the view, but it was for the ah Bra. I
- 23:34Speaker 12: was on for my intimate apparel brand because they have
- 23:36Speaker 12: these founder of days where they have these entrepreneurial people
- 23:40Speaker 12: on that sell their stuff at like half price.
- 23:43Speaker 13: It was.
- 23:43Speaker 12: It was really good though. Well it's on today.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Dare you go to Rondasheer dot com. She has an
- 23:48Speaker 2: incredible fashion line and she's the queen of home shopping
- 23:52Speaker 2: and when it comes to lingerie, when it comes to
- 23:56Speaker 2: She's the But normally you think, oh, very sexy Roman,
- 24:00Speaker 2: when you think every day STI except when you think
- 24:02Speaker 2: the view, Oh that kills the whole.
- 24:05Speaker 12: Wait, can I say something? This is very funny. So
- 24:09Speaker 12: one of the girls that was you know, they do
- 24:11Speaker 12: the show Sonny Houston does it and I'm bad with
- 24:13Speaker 12: the other names, but she was. They do the sales
- 24:16Speaker 12: pitch right, and so afterwards she goes, Joy really needs
- 24:20Speaker 12: a comfortable bra. She sits here the whole show going.
- 24:23Speaker 12: This is hers is digging into me. I can't want
- 24:25Speaker 12: to take it off.
- 24:26Speaker 2: She's an unusual bras, a forty two long.
- 24:31Speaker 12: We have recovered my my line rundshoo dot com has
- 24:34Speaker 12: it covered. But anyway, so I'm hoping to send Joy
- 24:37Speaker 12: a large package. That didn't sound right, a package of
- 24:40Speaker 12: panties and bras. This should be comfortable.
- 24:43Speaker 2: But normally you come on TV show they said, ooh,
- 24:44Speaker 2: it's so sexy. Then when you cut to Joy behar
- 24:46Speaker 2: or WHOOPI Goldberg kills the whole mood. It's so were
- 24:49Speaker 2: they nice to you? They were nice?
- 24:51Speaker 12: They were very nice and Sonny's very very pretty in
- 24:54Speaker 12: person and a little t d weedy thing. But I
- 24:56Speaker 12: felt like there, I felt normal because they walked out
- 24:58Speaker 12: on the set in their tennis shoes and they meet
- 25:00Speaker 12: changed to those high heels. Everywhere no one's wearing them,
- 25:03Speaker 12: and they're walking from the makeup room to the set,
- 25:07Speaker 12: and so I felt better about that. Yeah, so it'll
- 25:09Speaker 12: be on an eleven thirty to eleven forty five today.
- 25:13Speaker 12: You get half price on the opera on the view.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Oh okay, but people can just go to rundoshere dot.
- 25:17Speaker 12: Com get half price with them.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Bye. Everything you know, you don't have to sit through
- 25:20Speaker 2: the view to get everything.
- 25:22Speaker 12: You heard me on Marx Simone talking bras. So everybody
- 25:25Speaker 12: comes on and talks politics. I come on here and
- 25:27Speaker 12: talk about sex and bras with you, and I love
- 25:29Speaker 12: it so many people now for the years you haven't.
- 25:32Speaker 12: You've had me on since twenty seventeen, and I thank
- 25:34Speaker 12: you so much. Since my book came out, and I
- 25:37Speaker 12: have this whole group of fans that I love you
- 25:39Speaker 12: on Marximon. I love you when you're with them. It's
- 25:41Speaker 12: so so cool.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that's how you got on the first time. It
- 25:44Speaker 2: was that you were on my book tour. I was
- 25:46Speaker 2: on my book tour and they book, Yeah, they published,
- 25:49Speaker 2: and away send your names when we saw your name, yeah, definitely,
- 25:51Speaker 2: and you were so good.
- 25:52Speaker 12: We have to make it so crazy. So here's the thing.
- 25:55Speaker 12: I wanted to do a podcast with you, really sexy,
- 25:57Speaker 12: different than what you do here, where you know you're
- 26:00Speaker 12: talking to all people on both sides, where we talk
- 26:02Speaker 12: about celebrities and their sex life and really what's going on,
- 26:06Speaker 12: Like I could just do hours on Taylor Swift's wedding
- 26:09Speaker 12: and what did you think about? Why would they both
- 26:12Speaker 12: have it at a stadium when they both perform in stadiums.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Well, we seem to have gotten the real story from
- 26:17Speaker 2: people that were there. Apparently there was a serious camera crew,
- 26:21Speaker 2: like a real oh behind the scenes, no network quality,
- 26:25Speaker 2: the whole thing, the way it was, the sets were built,
- 26:27Speaker 2: the way it was laid out. They could see this
- 26:29Speaker 2: was a TV show documentary, no Netflix special, the whole thing.
- 26:33Speaker 12: Well, where's the love in that?
- 26:36Speaker 2: Very very very expensively videotaped?
- 26:38Speaker 12: Okay, but seriously, where's the love in that? Why didn't
- 26:41Speaker 12: you go run a castle, just run away like Van
- 26:43Speaker 12: and I did, because that's for.
- 26:45Speaker 2: A real wedding. This is they were doing a TV
- 26:46Speaker 2: show and that's why Adam Sandler officiated. Half these celebrities
- 26:50Speaker 2: you read about. She doesn't even know them. Oh really,
- 26:53Speaker 2: she didn't know any of these people. So they were
- 26:55Speaker 2: there to sprinkle through the TV show.
- 26:57Speaker 12: So they knew they were going to be on TV.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Oh yeah, somebody paid for this very experience.
- 27:01Speaker 12: But she is brilliant when it comes to that kind
- 27:03Speaker 12: of marketing.
- 27:03Speaker 13: She is.
- 27:04Speaker 12: They both are. But hopefully they got had a private
- 27:07Speaker 12: ceremony somewhere.
- 27:08Speaker 2: You think, Yeah, they actually got married before they came to.
- 27:10Speaker 12: Mess Okay, I feel better about that.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Now you're a you're a woman.
- 27:14Speaker 12: I am a woman.
- 27:15Speaker 2: This Travis Kelsey is that.
- 27:17Speaker 12: No, it does nothing for me, But of course I'm
- 27:19Speaker 12: not Taylor's. No, he really doesn't know.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean as far as sex appeal, good looking
- 27:25Speaker 2: kind of.
- 27:25Speaker 12: Uh, I mean, I don't I know people, he's a
- 27:27Speaker 12: football I don't know. He doesn't do anything for me.
- 27:30Speaker 12: I like the I like the funny, nerdy type.
- 27:36Speaker 2: But he looks like like a bouncer or something does look.
- 27:38Speaker 12: Like a bouncer. You know, you talk about Steve Shirippa.
- 27:41Speaker 12: Can I tell you a story about Steve Shirippa.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Yeah, we love Steve.
- 27:43Speaker 12: I love Steve Shirrippa. Do you know his first television
- 27:45Speaker 12: appearance was on All Night in the release and he
- 27:48Speaker 12: came back. You know, back in the day, he worked at.
- 27:51Speaker 2: The Riviera and he was the talent coordinator.
- 27:54Speaker 12: He was a talent coordinator and he was the doorman.
- 27:57Speaker 12: He was everything.
- 27:58Speaker 2: But he was a bouncer as the bouncer.
- 28:00Speaker 12: So he came on up all night as the bouncer
- 28:03Speaker 12: and he would do I mean as bits we had him,
- 28:06Speaker 12: just crazy things like wash a wig, how to get
- 28:08Speaker 12: a tip. I mean, some of the Steves Ripper bits
- 28:11Speaker 12: are some of the funniest bits from back in the day.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Wow.
- 28:14Speaker 12: And I I haven't chatted with him in years, but
- 28:16Speaker 12: great guy. And he used to book me on when
- 28:19Speaker 12: on you know, because I did stand up for years.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Now I'm trying to remember it. We were trying to
- 28:24Speaker 2: figure ou if we ever met each other before.
- 28:25Speaker 12: I think we we we were lovers a long time ago.
- 28:29Speaker 12: We just don't remember that part.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Back in the was it the late eighties? Early nineties?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Were nineties nineties?
- 28:34Speaker 12: Back we're coming here to ninety one to ninety eight.
- 28:37Speaker 2: So I remember, I think I met you a few times.
- 28:39Speaker 12: But did you know Marvin Hamilfarb.
- 28:43Speaker 2: It sounds like a disease.
- 28:44Speaker 9: What is that?
- 28:44Speaker 12: No, just because he was at Fox News in the
- 28:46Speaker 12: early days, I.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Could see the doctor.
- 28:51Speaker 12: We would have loved him because he was just very
- 28:52Speaker 12: funny and sarcastic. No, but I thought you would have
- 28:54Speaker 12: known him just because he was Fox early and he
- 28:55Speaker 12: used to put me on all the time with all
- 28:57Speaker 12: these little interstitial bits. It was great back in the day.
- 29:00Speaker 12: But no, I think it had to be the nineties
- 29:02Speaker 12: because I stayed around the corner. Well, you were in
- 29:04Speaker 12: a different place, but I was always around the corner
- 29:07Speaker 12: with the what was called the Rica Royal back then.
- 29:09Speaker 12: Oh yeah, and all the celebrities. The paparazzi would hang
- 29:12Speaker 12: out in front. Now where they've gone. Where are the
- 29:14Speaker 12: paparazzi hanging now? For celebs?
- 29:17Speaker 2: No, they hang around and when you see that, paparazzi
- 29:19Speaker 2: can't wait to see who's coming out. Oh my god,
- 29:22Speaker 2: it's so that's just long. Oh my god, it's Elton John. Nowadays,
- 29:25Speaker 2: the star comes out and you know who the hell
- 29:27Speaker 2: they are.
- 29:27Speaker 12: It's an influencer or it's a only fans.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Person or it's the number one singer in the country.
- 29:31Speaker 12: But you don't know them.
- 29:33Speaker 2: You don't know. I mean, you heard the name, but
- 29:35Speaker 2: you don't know what they do.
- 29:35Speaker 12: You know, rich, these only fans people.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Are now only fans? Is you do your own porn? Yeah,
- 29:40Speaker 2: we have subscribers.
- 29:42Speaker 12: Apparently anything you want to see, you know they have.
- 29:45Speaker 12: So I was telling the scale. Yes, So I'm like,
- 29:47Speaker 12: why don't you start a shoulder fetish where you just
- 29:49Speaker 12: like people stuck your shoulder. They pay you a lot
- 29:53Speaker 12: of money for that.
- 29:53Speaker 2: That sounds like a lot of fun.
- 29:55Speaker 12: No, but you know, apparently people are into really weird.
- 29:58Speaker 12: It isn't just fee eat feet are big.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Foot Fetish's got to be I single dumbest fetis.
- 30:04Speaker 12: I had so many foot people. They set me shoes,
- 30:07Speaker 12: they love my feet. I'm in our Wiki feet. Have
- 30:10Speaker 12: you ever heard of Wiki feet? You are you need
- 30:13Speaker 12: me here or for your celebrity days. Wikifeet has all
- 30:18Speaker 12: the famous feet that are love through through the years
- 30:22Speaker 12: of celebrity women.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Again, the sickest thing dot com.
- 30:26Speaker 12: I'm not kidding you. Everybody run there.
- 30:28Speaker 2: If you're not atrist.
- 30:31Speaker 12: Those guys are weird. They are They're so strange. Don't
- 30:34Speaker 12: ever go to a p dietis go to a nail
- 30:36Speaker 12: place if you have an ingro Antonio.
- 30:38Speaker 2: So uh, now tell that brave of the podcast where
- 30:41Speaker 2: we can see that.
- 30:42Speaker 12: Well, the podcast is on blood uh bloodstream dot com.
- 30:46Speaker 12: I've got two. I've got bloodstream dot com that's all
- 30:50Speaker 12: about horror. I can't say that word. I say it
- 30:54Speaker 12: like a palm beach lady horror. I've got horror horror.
- 30:58Speaker 12: And then I have my own Wrongs Shoe, which is
- 31:01Speaker 12: where you can find our podcast where I want to

- 31:11Speaker 12: So I have two new Roku app channels. Thank you
- 31:15Speaker 12: for promoting this. So you have to go to use
- 31:18Speaker 12: your Roku TV or your firestick, go to the Roku

- 31:26Speaker 12: own both of those channels, and we are programming and
- 31:30Speaker 12: totally getting all kinds of films and licensing films. I'm
- 31:33Speaker 12: in a new business. I'm behind the scenes. I'm in
- 31:35Speaker 12: front of the scenes and we're producing the new Up

- 31:39Speaker 12: to come to Florida to do with them.

- 31:43Speaker 2: I don't know about that. I am not a age.

- 32:03Speaker 2: Mark?
- 32:04Speaker 12: You look very fine dating anyone? What's going on?
- 32:07Speaker 10: Mark?
- 32:07Speaker 12: Come on, let me fix it up with my girlfriend.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Those are the younger, happy ones. No, these are the
- 32:10Speaker 2: ones we go. How are you?
- 32:14Speaker 12: My sould? I just got my hip, dumb marks? Looking
- 32:18Speaker 12: your rubbit over here?
- 32:20Speaker 2: Yeah? In New York, if you see somebody in a restaurant,
- 32:21Speaker 2: Oh you like this? Oh we love it. We come
- 32:23Speaker 2: here all the time. In Florida, you like this restaurant? Yeah,
- 32:26Speaker 2: it's close to our house.
- 32:29Speaker 12: The coffee was cold, it was a little off anyway expensive.
- 32:34Speaker 2: You're in Florida. Don't you feel disconnected?
- 32:37Speaker 12: So disconnected from the world. I miss you know what
- 32:40Speaker 12: it is? I do like the show.
- 32:43Speaker 9: I like that.
- 32:44Speaker 12: I like the chaos. I like New York. You walk
- 32:46Speaker 12: on the street, you're you're in a party, you meet
- 32:49Speaker 12: people in the street, you're just talking. I mean, I
- 32:51Speaker 12: love it here.
- 32:52Speaker 13: I do.
- 32:52Speaker 12: I never lived here. I used to come here a lot.
- 32:54Speaker 2: If you're staying here, when you walk out here, here's
- 32:56Speaker 2: the energy. But I give you credit it. That's the
- 33:02Speaker 2: first time in ten years I've had to hit that
- 33:04Speaker 2: dumb button.
- 33:05Speaker 12: Yeah, I feel so close to you. It's my favorite word.
- 33:10Speaker 12: Just what should know anybody who curses? If you curse
- 33:13Speaker 12: out there, they say only intellectual people curse.
- 33:17Speaker 2: The only people that curse say that everybody. Go to
- 33:22Speaker 2: Rohndasheer dot com. You can get everything there. Go to
- 33:25Speaker 2: Rondasheer dot com. Thank Rondare, thanks for being with us.
- 33:31Speaker 12: Love you, Ma, we love you and I do.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Thanks for being here. Hey, don't forget Buck and Clay
- 33:37Speaker 2: coming up at noon today seven to ten wo r.
- 33:41Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show on seventeen.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Hey, it's gonna be a beautiful day today. I can't
- 33:50Speaker 2: say that probably any other day this week. We've had rain,
- 33:53Speaker 2: We've had all this stuff. You're gonna get some rain
- 33:56Speaker 2: on Thursday. On Friday Today, perfect bright, sunny, beautiful day today.
- 34:02Speaker 2: So what if you want to do outside, you want
- 34:04Speaker 2: to play hooky, do it today Friday, Saturday. Get a
- 34:07Speaker 2: little rain here and there. It might not be that bad.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Sunday is going to be nice, though. We got a
- 34:11Speaker 2: lot to get to. In the next hour. We'll get
- 34:13Speaker 2: the crazy mom Donnie. We'll get back to that building collapse,
- 34:17Speaker 2: and a whole lot more. Oh, we'll get to FIFA.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Had enough of this FIFA anyway, But I don't really,
- 34:22Speaker 2: I don't know anyway. Well, we'll see if we can
- 34:24Speaker 2: figure out. Right after the news it's Mark Simone ten
- 34:27Speaker 2: to noon every day, seven to ten wo.
- 34:29Speaker 14: R, The Mark Simone Show, delivering the news before it
- 34:34Speaker 14: is on seven ten wo R.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Hey, finally a beautiful, sunny, eighty degree due today. We
- 34:45Speaker 2: got a lot to get to. We'll get to Iran,
- 34:46Speaker 2: and we'll get to FIFA, and we'll get to Platner
- 34:51Speaker 2: and the midterms and a whole lot more well, Iran.
- 34:57Speaker 2: President Trump saying the negotiating is over. He said there
- 35:02Speaker 2: are a bunch of liars and creeps, at one point,
- 35:04Speaker 2: calling them scum. Now he's a brilliant negotiator, President Trump.
- 35:10Speaker 2: He's done it for years. He's written the book literally
- 35:14Speaker 2: on negotiating the art of the deal. It's forty years
- 35:17Speaker 2: of incredible actually more fifty years of incredible negotiating. So
- 35:22Speaker 2: he knows how to do this as well as anyone
- 35:24Speaker 2: on earth. But his whole life, he's been negotiating with
- 35:28Speaker 2: business people, with unions, with real estate guys, with the
- 35:32Speaker 2: City of New York. You know, well, he's building all
- 35:35Speaker 2: over the world, with governments. So whenever you're negotiating with those,
- 35:38Speaker 2: they're somewhat reasonable. Those people they all have their own interests.
- 35:42Speaker 9: You know.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Business people are business people. They're at some point want
- 35:46Speaker 2: to make a deal. Same thing with the government everything else.
- 35:48Speaker 2: So this is the first time I would bet that
- 35:51Speaker 2: he's ever dealt with total lunatics. Now through the years,
- 35:55Speaker 2: when you're building buildings in New York City, I imagine
- 35:58Speaker 2: you got a deal with the mob of lot. So
- 36:01Speaker 2: he's negotiated with the gangsters, the mobsters. He's had to
- 36:04Speaker 2: do that. But again they're mobsters. It's organized crimes, so
- 36:09Speaker 2: they have a it's an actual business. You you could
- 36:12Speaker 2: negotiate with them, But when you're dealing with crazed fanatic lunatics.
- 36:17Speaker 2: There's no rhyme or reason to anything. So that's the problem.
- 36:21Speaker 2: That's the problem. So he's said that that's it for
- 36:24Speaker 2: the negotiating. We have been bombing as of yesterday. We
- 36:28Speaker 2: started about five o'clock. We've been bombing over and I
- 36:31Speaker 2: hit about eighty five targets. But this is nothing. They're
- 36:35Speaker 2: going to escalate this and they're going to really you know,
- 36:38Speaker 2: during the peace of the last couple of months, the
- 36:41Speaker 2: memo of understanding, the peace agreement. You remember for the
- 36:45Speaker 2: last few months, what did you keep hearing over and
- 36:47Speaker 2: over again. They should go in there and finish the job.
- 36:50Speaker 2: We should finish them off. We should finish the job. Well,
- 36:52Speaker 2: I think you're going to see that happen now, you'll
- 36:55Speaker 2: see that happen now. The relationship with Israel a bit strained.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Net and Yahoo taking to Twitter or to cable TV
- 37:02Speaker 2: to speak to Trump. So the big strain is there now.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Who knows, that could just be for the cameras. But
- 37:10Speaker 2: that'll all get repaired and it may come to go
- 37:14Speaker 2: back to what it was with Israel and the US
- 37:16Speaker 2: militaries both working very closely together to get this finished.
- 37:21Speaker 2: And it may take ground troops. But I know they've
- 37:24Speaker 2: thought about one thing. It may take ground troops to
- 37:28Speaker 2: finish off the IRGC or the leaders. But if that's
- 37:33Speaker 2: the case, the ground troops would be Israeli ground troops.
- 37:37Speaker 2: We'll back them up with air support and all of that.
- 37:41Speaker 2: But the Israeli ground troops pretty effective in that area,
- 37:44Speaker 2: and they would know exactly where to go. The Israelis
- 37:47Speaker 2: would know exactly what cave, what tunnel, wherever to go.
- 37:51Speaker 2: So expect Iran to get finished off, and if that happens,
- 37:55Speaker 2: it'd probably be quick a couple of weeks. This pause
- 38:00Speaker 2: of a few months gave them US plenty of chance
- 38:02Speaker 2: to restock missiles, drones, all that stuff, and to carefully
- 38:08Speaker 2: work on targets and planning. It's already the most planned
- 38:12Speaker 2: war in history. The Pentagon has been working on Iran
- 38:15Speaker 2: battle plans for forty five years, but in the last
- 38:18Speaker 2: seven weeks we've really tweaked everything. So expected to get
- 38:23Speaker 2: really really rough for Iran pretty soon. President talking about
- 38:29Speaker 2: the what happened was Iran hit a couple of ships
- 38:32Speaker 2: in the straight of Horn Moose, and then we saw
- 38:34Speaker 2: some activity at their nuclear sites, and that wasn't good.
- 38:37Speaker 2: This is love farming.
- 38:39Speaker 15: This is live farming.
- 38:40Speaker 4: This is live farming.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Doger Iranian straight horror moose. Anyway, the president will now
- 38:51Speaker 2: really really let them have it. Let me see if
- 38:54Speaker 2: I can find the president on that. It's here somewhere here.
- 39:00Speaker 5: We don't want to sanction friends. It's very simple.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Oh, that's actually NATO. We lost the Iran custo here somewhere.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Though he called them scum, he called them liars, he
- 39:10Speaker 2: called them insane. When he gets really mad, things get
- 39:15Speaker 2: really ugly for Iran. So it's not going to be
- 39:18Speaker 2: good for them. Hey, he's also talking about Greenland again
- 39:21Speaker 2: there for the NATO talks with the NATO leaders, Greenland
- 39:24Speaker 2: is back on the agenda taking possession of Greenland. Now,
- 39:28Speaker 2: we would probably buy it for a great deal of money.
- 39:31Speaker 5: That's what hurt my relationship with NATO because Greenland doesn't
- 39:36Speaker 5: help Denmark. Denmark doesn't spend money to really help Greenland.
- 39:42Speaker 5: But it's an important part for the United States and
- 39:45Speaker 5: it's surrounded by China ships and Russian ships.
- 39:49Speaker 2: So what happened is Denmark actually owns Greenland. We want
- 39:53Speaker 2: to buy it from them for billions of dollars. They
- 39:57Speaker 2: had a huge debt that would pay off their debt
- 40:00Speaker 2: is the deal that made perfect sense. They don't need
- 40:02Speaker 2: Greenland for anything, we actually do, so we would buy
- 40:06Speaker 2: it and would take care of Denmark. However, this is
- 40:10Speaker 2: the problem. Ozampic was invented, believe it or not, out
- 40:15Speaker 2: of Denmark. Ozampic became the biggest drug in the world.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Ozempic has brought in billions and billions and billions of
- 40:25Speaker 2: dollars to Denmark, so they don't need our money anymore.
- 40:28Speaker 2: That's what stalled the whole thing. Now. The reason we
- 40:31Speaker 2: want Greenland at first, it's a very important place strategically
- 40:35Speaker 2: for our military defense, very important for all kinds of reasons,
- 40:40Speaker 2: too lengthy to go into. We need Greenland for military defense.
- 40:43Speaker 2: We needed for a base, we needed for radar, we
- 40:45Speaker 2: needed for all kinds of things. Miss It's just really
- 40:48Speaker 2: important militarily, and that's why the Russians have been trying
- 40:53Speaker 2: to take Greenland. We're very worried about Russia or China
- 40:57Speaker 2: taking possession of it first. The other reason, it's filled
- 41:01Speaker 2: with minerals, tons and tons and tons of minerals, so
- 41:05Speaker 2: we need those. There's a tiny population on Greenland, tiny
- 41:11Speaker 2: so small that President Trump is offered everybody in Greenland
- 41:14Speaker 2: will give you ten million dollars or something like that,
- 41:16Speaker 2: so they would all go along with it. Democrats will.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Now you'll hear them all over the airwaves, all over
- 41:23Speaker 2: the place. You'll hear Democrats yelling and screaming about how
- 41:27Speaker 2: this is insane. Why would we want Greenland? The president
- 41:31Speaker 2: is crazy, Trump's crazy. What does he want in Greenland? Now?
- 41:34Speaker 2: The truth is every US president going back to the
- 41:38Speaker 2: nineteen twenties has made the same case that we need Greenland.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Every president, Democrat, Republican have all made the case that
- 41:47Speaker 2: we've got to have Greenland. Many of them tried negotiating
- 41:50Speaker 2: it with Denmark. So every Democratic president, Republican president has
- 41:53Speaker 2: tried to get Greenland. They will, these fake newspeople will
- 41:58Speaker 2: get that amnesia they always get, and they'll forget that
- 42:01Speaker 2: and they'll make it sound like this is some crazy
- 42:03Speaker 2: Trump idea. It's not.
- 42:06Speaker 9: So.
- 42:06Speaker 2: The building collapsed pretty bad, pretty pretty bad. This building
- 42:12Speaker 2: was the Pfiser Building, forty second Street. It's I don't know,
- 42:17Speaker 2: it's like forty to fifty stories. It's big and fat
- 42:21Speaker 2: and wide up to the twentieth floor. Then from the
- 42:24Speaker 2: twentieth floor up. It's smaller, so they tried to expand it.
- 42:27Speaker 2: In other words, on the twentieth floor, they tried to
- 42:30Speaker 2: add like ten floors above half of the twentieth floor,
- 42:34Speaker 2: and the steel beams couldn't handle the weight of these
- 42:37Speaker 2: new twenty floors. You would think whoever the architect was,
- 42:42Speaker 2: whoever the builder was, they would have figured this all
- 42:45Speaker 2: out and calculated this correctly. Obviously they didn't, and that's
- 42:51Speaker 2: what caused it to buckle. How are you going to
- 42:53Speaker 2: fix it? Who knows? Nobody knows how the hell they're
- 42:57Speaker 2: ever going to fix this. Here's mayor mom, Donnie. The
- 43:00Speaker 2: reason they were doing all this, they were trying to
- 43:01Speaker 2: convert this office building to residential.
- 43:05Speaker 3: This is an existing thirty seven story building with active
- 43:08Speaker 3: permits to convert it from a commercial office building to
- 43:12Speaker 3: a residential building.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Yeah, so fixing it, I don't know how the hell
- 43:17Speaker 2: they're going to fix it. This is going to be really,
- 43:21Speaker 2: really difficult. You may have to take down the twenty
- 43:24Speaker 2: stories they built above it. There might be a way
- 43:27Speaker 2: to reinforce those steel beams. If there was a way,
- 43:31Speaker 2: I'm assuming they would have done it. Everybody's forty second Street,
- 43:36Speaker 2: second and third close to traffic at forty third Street
- 43:38Speaker 2: as well, Fire department, everybody's there.
- 43:41Speaker 4: The way this building is constructed, it's a steel framed building,
- 43:44Speaker 4: so it would not be a total collapse. It would
- 43:47Speaker 4: be more of a localized collapse. But that remains our concern.
- 43:53Speaker 2: That it's moving. Yeah, no steel being building in millwards.
- 43:56Speaker 2: It wouldn't topple over. It would pancake down. That's what
- 44:01Speaker 2: happened with the World Trade Center. But then it sends
- 44:03Speaker 2: stuff flying in every direction. Here's this is the Apartment
- 44:08Speaker 2: of Buildings.
- 44:08Speaker 14: What we are focused on and what we feel like
- 44:11Speaker 14: the next step is is making sure we can get
- 44:13Speaker 14: into that twenty first floor to add additional emergency trustes
- 44:17Speaker 14: to spread that load and be able.
- 44:20Speaker 15: To move on with the investigation.
- 44:21Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 44:22Speaker 2: So in other words, they have to be able to
- 44:23Speaker 2: get in there at some point, build these emergency support beams,
- 44:27Speaker 2: these new support beams, But as he said, that would
- 44:30Speaker 2: just be temporary. That would just be to stabilize the
- 44:32Speaker 2: building and give them time to figure out what the
- 44:35Speaker 2: solution is. And I have a feeling the solution is
- 44:38Speaker 2: going to be tearing down those twenty floors they built
- 44:40Speaker 2: above the twentieth floor and I don't know how the
- 44:43Speaker 2: hell you do that or how long. I mean, this
- 44:45Speaker 2: block could be closed for a long long time.
- 44:49Speaker 9: Now.
- 44:50Speaker 2: If he is successful stabilizing the building with those emergency
- 44:53Speaker 2: support beams, then maybe maybe it could open it to traffic.
- 44:58Speaker 2: You'd lose a lane or two for construction, but not
- 45:01Speaker 2: going to be easy. Graham Platner is causing all kinds
- 45:06Speaker 2: of problems for the Democrats. They've decided they want him out.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Not because he's a rapist, not because he's a Nazi.
- 45:14Speaker 2: There's nothing to do with it. They just realize there's
- 45:16Speaker 2: more stuff coming. There's too much stuff now. They realize
- 45:20Speaker 2: he can't win. That's the only reason they want him out.
- 45:22Speaker 2: You could have a big Nazi tattoo all over your face,
- 45:24Speaker 2: doesn't bother them. Can't win, that bothers them. That bothers them,
- 45:28Speaker 2: so they want him out. He's got to get out
- 45:30Speaker 2: by I think it's next week. There's a deadline where
- 45:35Speaker 2: if he doesn't drop out by then there's no way
- 45:37Speaker 2: to remove him from the ballot. So he's got to
- 45:41Speaker 2: get out. Now, he's holding up the process. He should
- 45:43Speaker 2: just get out, but he's demanding the right to pick
- 45:46Speaker 2: his replacement. I don't blame the guy forgive him a
- 45:51Speaker 2: hard time, because I think Platner realizes he has absolutely
- 45:55Speaker 2: no future in politics. He can never run again. This
- 45:58Speaker 2: is it, end of the line. So he's got to
- 46:01Speaker 2: cash us in and get whatever he can. He's demanding
- 46:03Speaker 2: to finally pick his replacement. All the big supporters. Bernie
- 46:10Speaker 2: Sanders was his original big booster, and he said nothing
- 46:13Speaker 2: for two days. Bernie Sanders has finally weighed in. Sanders said,
- 46:18Speaker 2: I've spoken with Graham Plattner about the best pert forward
- 46:22Speaker 2: for Maine in light of these very serious negotiations allegations.
- 46:27Speaker 2: I have recommended that he step aside. So even Bernie
- 46:30Speaker 2: Sanders threw in the towel and gave up. You know,
- 46:34Speaker 2: the ex girlfriend tells the story of being raped by him.
- 46:36Speaker 2: Apparently there's another woman about to come out. So what
- 46:41Speaker 2: does Mom Donnie say about Platner.
- 46:43Speaker 15: The focus of today should be to respond to the
- 46:46Speaker 15: gravity of what so many of us have read. And
- 46:49Speaker 15: I think that the only appropriate response is for the
- 46:51Speaker 15: campaign to come to an end.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Ah, even Mom Donnie says, get out. Hey. You notice
- 46:55Speaker 2: Mom Donnie talks very fast. Whenever Mom Donni talks, he
- 46:58Speaker 2: talks really fast. So that way, he sounds very smart
- 46:59Speaker 2: because's so fast. But you ever know, this was a
- 47:01Speaker 2: difficult question. He slows down.
- 47:05Speaker 15: Listen, the focus of today should be to respond to
- 47:09Speaker 15: the gravity of Yah.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Yeah, he gets slow and well it's a rough question.
- 47:13Speaker 2: He gets a little slow on things. Hey, Mitch McConnell,
- 47:18Speaker 2: looks like he's doing a little better. There were reports
- 47:21Speaker 2: that he was brain dead. It was all over the
- 47:24Speaker 2: place yesterday that he was declared officially brain dead. That
- 47:27Speaker 2: is not true. Uh, those reports made the news and
- 47:30Speaker 2: they were spreading all over the internet. So McConnell started
- 47:34Speaker 2: calling people, colleagues and GOP leaders from his hospital bed
- 47:39Speaker 2: to assure them that he's actually okay. Uh, let me see. Oh, Jeopardy,
- 47:47Speaker 2: they're looking for a writer, a new clue writer. You know,
- 47:49Speaker 2: somebody writes all those questions and clues and all that stuff.
- 47:54Speaker 2: And apparently the guy's leaving. So there. This is a
- 47:56Speaker 2: big thing for you know, if you're in the Jeopardy universe,
- 48:00Speaker 2: it's a big thing. First time in a million years,
- 48:02Speaker 2: they've hired a new writer and they're auditioning. They say,
- 48:05Speaker 2: thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of people. Do
- 48:08Speaker 2: you know, you got to know all this stuff. I
- 48:10Speaker 2: can't watch Jeopardy because it starts with three nerds, and
- 48:16Speaker 2: then they introduced the three nerds, and then at some
- 48:19Speaker 2: point he says, tell us about yourself and the nerds.
- 48:23Speaker 2: It's the least interesting people in the world. And then
- 48:26Speaker 2: they start the game and these three they know everything.
- 48:30Speaker 2: This a river in Mugadishu and they know the river.
- 48:34Speaker 2: I can't believe it. This eighteen forty seven poem and
- 48:38Speaker 2: they know the answer. It's unbelievable. You got to be
- 48:40Speaker 2: pretty smart to write these clues. The job pays one
- 48:46Speaker 2: hundred and thirty two thousand up to one hundred and
- 48:48Speaker 2: seventy eight thousand. Now for some jobs that would sound
- 48:51Speaker 2: like a lot of money, but for Jeopardy, I would
- 48:54Speaker 2: think the clue writer, the one that makes up the questions,
- 48:58Speaker 2: I would think that's the most crucial thing on the show.
- 49:01Speaker 2: That's what people are watching for. This show makes like
- 49:04Speaker 2: billions of dollars a year. That's all they're going to
- 49:07Speaker 2: pay the guy. I mean, for a show that's making billions,
- 49:12Speaker 2: this job should pay a lot more than that. But
- 49:14Speaker 2: that's all they pay for the job. Hey, we'll take
- 49:16Speaker 2: some calls next. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 49:20Speaker 2: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 49:24Speaker 2: seven ten.
- 49:25Speaker 14: Jeez, mister New York Mark simone on seven ten.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Wo r Hey, we'll take some calls. Actually, we watch
- 49:33Speaker 2: some new callers. We had a lot of new callers
- 49:35Speaker 2: first time callers yesterday, like some more today. Eight hundred
- 49:38Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is the number eight
- 49:42Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten. If you're
- 49:46Speaker 2: an old caller, you can call too. But let's get
- 49:48Speaker 2: some new callers as well. Eight hundred three two one
- 49:52Speaker 2: zero seven ten. Let's go to Rich in Myrtle Beach.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Rich how you doing.
- 49:57Speaker 8: New and nude calls? I couldn't understand what you're saying.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Both will take nude or new callers.
- 50:03Speaker 8: How is nobody talking? Of course, the press is question.
- 50:06Speaker 8: How is nobody talking about brain dead Mitch McConnell and
- 50:10Speaker 8: the big election that's going to have to happen in
- 50:12Speaker 8: Kentucky and thank god, the Republican straints of war where
- 50:15Speaker 8: the governor does not pick a replacement Senator interim senator?
- 50:20Speaker 8: How is this not on the front page every news?
- 50:22Speaker 8: You got a brain dead guy?
- 50:23Speaker 14: Nobody knows.
- 50:25Speaker 2: It turns out. He's not brain dead. He's very sick
- 50:28Speaker 2: and he's in the hospital, but not brain dead. He's
- 50:30Speaker 2: been calling people to tell him he's not brain dead.
- 50:32Speaker 8: Another reason for term limits. But why is this guy
- 50:35Speaker 8: not just gonna say, okay, listen, pick somebody. I got
- 50:37Speaker 8: to take care of myself. These people are so power hungry,
- 50:40Speaker 8: that's he all these people are. Schumer perfect example, term limits,
- 50:44Speaker 8: term limits, termleinits.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I absolutely agree. The problem is, how are
- 50:48Speaker 2: you going to get term limits? The Congress would have
- 50:51Speaker 2: to vote for them, vote themselves out of the place.
- 50:54Speaker 8: It's like doctor is doing investigations on doctor's mistakes. It
- 50:57Speaker 8: never happens, you know.
- 50:58Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, good call, thanks for calling. That's the problem.
- 51:03Speaker 2: And as long as you got President Trump here, he's
- 51:05Speaker 2: the one guy that could push this. I know they're
- 51:07Speaker 2: not going to want to vote for it because it
- 51:09Speaker 2: term limits them out of there and they'd have to
- 51:12Speaker 2: go into the real world. But he should push that
- 51:14Speaker 2: like crazy. Let's go to John in Hell's kitchen. John,
- 51:17Speaker 2: how you doing. Good morning to you?
- 51:19Speaker 16: Mark, some own good man. I gotta say something Mark.
- 51:25Speaker 16: Over the holiday over the fourth of July weekend here
- 51:28Speaker 16: in New York, I live in the Hell's Kitchen area,
- 51:31Speaker 16: tenth Avenue. No American like down on the on the
- 51:35Speaker 16: River American. No American flags anywhere, No American flags and
- 51:39Speaker 16: windows and stores and restaurants. And it bothered me because
- 51:43Speaker 16: I'm seventy years old and it's the first time I
- 51:46Speaker 16: didn't see American flags everywhere. And when I went into
- 51:49Speaker 16: the restaurants, you know what they said, bad for business?
- 51:52Speaker 2: What's bad for Oh? Well, yeah, I understand, but it's
- 51:56Speaker 2: Hell's Kitchen that was always kind of known for ethnic
- 51:59Speaker 2: restaurants and all that stuff around.
- 52:00Speaker 17: No, no, we have, but there was always flags in
- 52:04Speaker 17: every restaurant. There was always flax. Yeah, and now all
- 52:08Speaker 17: of a sudden, the American flags become bad for business.
- 52:10Speaker 17: Like this sunny hostin yesterday, I don't know. I'm sure
- 52:14Speaker 17: you heard what she had to say about the American
- 52:16Speaker 17: flag that if you're show an American flag, it's a sign,
- 52:19Speaker 17: it's a dog whistle that you're a white supremacist. I mean,
- 52:22Speaker 17: it's getting ridiculous.
- 52:25Speaker 2: Absolutely right, good call, absolutely right. It's like you'd call
- 52:29Speaker 2: something press one for English. I think at some point
- 52:32Speaker 2: it's going to be press seven for English. We're not
- 52:35Speaker 2: going to be number one on that list anymore. Let's
- 52:38Speaker 2: go to Chris and Bethpage Chris, how you doing?
- 52:42Speaker 18: And Mark Good I just love what's going on right now.
- 52:46Speaker 18: I don't care what anyone says. I've never been happier.
- 52:49Speaker 18: These Democrats are just shooting themselves in the foot. They
- 52:53Speaker 18: can't get out of each other's way. This dude up
- 52:56Speaker 18: in Maine almost sealed the deal. They're very good Democrats,
- 53:00Speaker 18: like Bill mar at least us in his example, he's
- 53:03Speaker 18: just calling the party out and there's there seems no
- 53:06Speaker 18: getting it back. There's a big division in there, and
- 53:09Speaker 18: I just think it's great for the Republicans and the
- 53:11Speaker 18: used to sit back, eat their popcorn and let this
- 53:14Speaker 18: group destroy themselves because I've never seen anything like this.
- 53:17Speaker 2: Well, I'm excellent, excellent point. I agree, totally excellent point.
- 53:21Speaker 2: Thanks for callings. Let's go to uh Dan in Manhattan. Dan,
- 53:25Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 53:27Speaker 9: Good morning? Mark. I have a question, but I have
- 53:30Speaker 9: wanted to tell you for a while. I really admire
- 53:33Speaker 9: your loyalty to President Trump. I know you know him personally,
- 53:37Speaker 9: and people judge him for his public persona, and your
- 53:40Speaker 9: loyalty is just such a great quality. And your diplomacy
- 53:44Speaker 9: regarding Curtis and I know you're good buddies with his
- 53:48Speaker 9: old boss.
- 53:48Speaker 2: I hear it, but.
- 53:51Speaker 9: No, no buds at all. The question is I think
- 53:55Speaker 9: you're the ones to ask why are there no abd
- 53:58Speaker 9: In Costello rerun on TV? Would you spend the idea?
- 54:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I can explain that. I don't know if you
- 54:03Speaker 2: heard it's now twenty twenty six.
- 54:07Speaker 9: Well, I mean, we have all those channels with the
- 54:10Speaker 9: oldies on them, but the.
- 54:13Speaker 2: Oldies from the seventies. They're not from early fifties.
- 54:17Speaker 9: He's still on once in a while. I just wondered
- 54:21Speaker 9: if it was if there was an issue with the
- 54:24Speaker 9: estates or no, no, no, I don't know.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Aban Costell's is very very, very very old. It was
- 54:30Speaker 2: kind of a cheaply done show at the time.
- 54:31Speaker 9: It was very fil was very cheap, but hilarious.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Well it was, and I don't know if you know,
- 54:37Speaker 2: but Seinfeld said that was the most influential show ab
- 54:41Speaker 2: and Costello's TV show For Seinfeld, he copied a lot
- 54:44Speaker 2: of the Abbt and Costello show.
- 54:46Speaker 9: I remember you said that. And he even had a
- 54:48Speaker 9: character Sid Fields.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but the Fields was.
- 54:52Speaker 9: The landlord and is real that was his actual name.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Yeah, he said he based a lot of Seinfeld on
- 54:56Speaker 2: the ab and Costello TV show. No same format. They lived,
- 54:59Speaker 2: they all in the same apartment building. They had a
- 55:02Speaker 2: newman on Abbot and Costello. What was he called Stinky
- 55:04Speaker 2: or something like that.
- 55:06Speaker 9: Yes, yes, Joe Besser, Joe, Yeah, So, uh.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Do you watch Seinfeld?
- 55:12Speaker 8: Oh?
- 55:12Speaker 9: I love Seinfeld? Okay, I could definitely see the influence absolutely.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Yeah, very derivative of ABT and Costello. Well, you know,
- 55:18Speaker 2: if you go to YouTube, you can watch every episode
- 55:20Speaker 2: of Abbot and Costello.
- 55:23Speaker 9: You know what, You're right, I've been I've been catching
- 55:25Speaker 9: up on NYPD Blue, which I know you also like that.
- 55:28Speaker 2: I well love I watched it on YouTube all the time.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Forget anything else. Just watch YouTube. You can watch any
- 55:33Speaker 2: show that was ever on television, any sitcom, any draw,
- 55:37Speaker 2: anything that was ever on television. Every episode is now
- 55:40Speaker 2: up on YouTube. You'll love it. Great call, thanks for calling.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Let's go to Carl in Sayerville. Carl, how you doing fine?
- 55:47Speaker 13: Mark it all that that address that May and Madonnie
- 55:54Speaker 13: made with all those people behind him, they said he
- 55:57Speaker 13: had the death turned around.
- 55:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it was the stupidest fourth Uly video. He sat
- 56:02Speaker 2: at George Washington's desk, but he had it turned around
- 56:04Speaker 2: so the drawers were facing us, not him. It was ridiculous.
- 56:08Speaker 13: I didn't understand that it almost looked like Gomez Adams
- 56:13Speaker 13: and he Adams family.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it did. It looked quite quite creepy. Now, in
- 56:17Speaker 2: Mom Donnie's defense, I don't think he's ever seen a
- 56:20Speaker 2: desk before, because remember, he's never had a job. He's
- 56:23Speaker 2: never worked in his life. He's never been in an office.
- 56:27Speaker 2: Where would he have ever seen a desk. He was
- 56:30Speaker 2: a rapper, he was like a what did he do
- 56:35Speaker 2: before that? Was he a teacher? But he's never been
- 56:37Speaker 2: in an office. I have a feeling that the desk
- 56:41Speaker 2: needs instructions for him. He's never seen one or used
- 56:43Speaker 2: one ever in his life. Hey, when we come back
- 56:46Speaker 2: and Coulter will be with us next, lots to talk
- 56:49Speaker 2: to her about on seven to ten wor Welcome back
- 56:53Speaker 2: to the Mark Simone.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Show Live from the wr Life Back Studios.
- 57:00Speaker 2: Well and Culder the great columnist, the best selling author,
- 57:04Speaker 2: and make sure you follow her on Twitter. Even better, Substack,
- 57:08Speaker 2: make sure you follow her on substack. You can get
- 57:10Speaker 2: a subscription at substack it's a Culter dot substack dot com. Oh,
- 57:14Speaker 2: make sure you watch her Rumble Channel. A lot of
- 57:17Speaker 2: good stuff on that and Culter Rumble Channel and culture.
- 57:20Speaker 14: How you doing, fantastic? Congratulations Mark Simone. You did not
- 57:25Speaker 14: tell me you won the Broadcasters Award for from Talk Magazine.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Or Talk Barrett Barrett Media, Barrett Media.
- 57:34Speaker 14: Barrett Media, and I would be very upset that you
- 57:37Speaker 14: didn't invite me to it, as you have in the past,
- 57:39Speaker 14: except I wasn't in New York.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Well, I didn't invite anybody. It's a I don't know
- 57:45Speaker 2: something about what inviting people to watch you get an award.
- 57:48Speaker 2: That's a little legotistical, isn't it.
- 57:50Speaker 14: Uh No, I would have cheered like math Oh.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Okay, well yeah you should come anyway. Because you had
- 57:55Speaker 2: every major talk show host in America all in one room,
- 57:59Speaker 2: you couldn't.
- 57:59Speaker 12: Get a word fun party.
- 58:02Speaker 8: That's true, I bet so.
- 58:05Speaker 2: A guy just called. He said, I love what's going on.
- 58:08Speaker 2: I love this. I love watching the Democrats just shoot
- 58:11Speaker 2: themselves in the foot. I love watching them destroy their
- 58:13Speaker 2: whole party. He said, just get some popcorn and sit
- 58:16Speaker 2: back and enjoy this. What do you think?
- 58:20Speaker 14: Never get complacent?
- 58:23Speaker 9: Never ever ever.
- 58:24Speaker 19: I mean I remember hearing this and.
- 58:26Speaker 14: Giving the same warning back when O'Reilly was saying every night,
- 58:30Speaker 14: how how Franken running for senat oh ho ho ho.
- 58:34Speaker 14: We're not even going to discuss discuss it.
- 58:35Speaker 9: There's a joke.
- 58:36Speaker 14: He's not going any place. And I kept telling him
- 58:39Speaker 14: and his producers stopped being so casual about this. He
- 58:42Speaker 14: could very well win. We're talking about Minnesota. Never get complacent.
- 58:47Speaker 14: I mean, there are great things that I saw. I
- 58:50Speaker 14: forget who this guy was, but he was a lefty
- 58:52Speaker 14: saying that one of these is a paraphrase. One of
- 58:55Speaker 14: the eternal facts of modern American politics is no matter
- 59:00Speaker 14: how disliked the Republicans are, Democrats will come up with
- 59:04Speaker 14: a way to be disliked even more. And that is true.
- 59:08Speaker 14: So they have that going against them. They are they
- 59:10Speaker 14: are having this fight with the mostly you know, as
- 59:16Speaker 14: you point to ok with Mom, Donnie, mostly foreign foreigners
- 59:20Speaker 14: who hate our country, really pushing socialism and ending killing
- 59:25Speaker 14: the Golden Goose, and the establishment Democrats whose main thing
- 59:30Speaker 14: has been to call Trump a fascist. I really find
- 59:34Speaker 14: this hilarious that that the way Democrats describe the division
- 59:37Speaker 14: and the party is the base they're looking for fighters.
- 59:43Speaker 14: What Democrats has not been fighting Trump? There is nothing
- 59:48Speaker 14: you can say about him that would get you. No, No,
- 59:51Speaker 14: we can't have this guy on TV again. No, we
- 59:53Speaker 14: can't have this person writing for the New York Times
- 59:56Speaker 14: or the Washington Post. I mean, they've thrown everything they
- 59:58Speaker 14: have in him. And I'm not about elected Democrats too.
- 1:00:01Speaker 14: They impeached him twice, they had those endless hearings. Anyway,
- 1:00:06Speaker 14: what's going on in Maine. One thing to note about
- 1:00:11Speaker 14: that is Platner was losing to Collins. Yes, he was up,
- 1:00:16Speaker 14: you know, a month ago, but recent polls showed him falling, falling, falling,
- 1:00:20Speaker 14: and Susan Collins usually usually wins even when the polls
- 1:00:25Speaker 14: show her losing. So there had just been enough crap
- 1:00:29Speaker 14: about this guy building up, building up, building up. I
- 1:00:32Speaker 14: don't think it was this one thing. I think this
- 1:00:34Speaker 14: was just the straw that broke the camel's back. And
- 1:00:39Speaker 14: actually Nate Silver had a really good post on this
- 1:00:41Speaker 14: that you know, when when someone keeps keeps giving you,
- 1:00:45Speaker 14: giving you problems that he hasn't warned you about, you
- 1:00:48Speaker 14: really got to cut dait on this. So I think
- 1:00:50Speaker 14: they probably had no choice but to but to dump him.
- 1:00:53Speaker 14: But don't think that this is Democrats showing you know
- 1:00:57Speaker 14: how moral they are. No, there are some candidates we
- 1:01:01Speaker 14: have integrity. There's some candidates we will not accept. No,
- 1:01:04Speaker 14: he was about to lose. What they do next, it'll
- 1:01:09Speaker 14: be interesting to watch. And the one thing I keep
- 1:01:13Speaker 14: returning to when it comes to Susan Collins is I
- 1:01:16Speaker 14: love that they're trying to portray her like she's I
- 1:01:19Speaker 14: don't know me. She's a moderate, she votes a lot
- 1:01:24Speaker 14: with the Democrats. She's a thorn in the Republican inside.
- 1:01:28Speaker 14: But she does really good constituent work in Maine. So
- 1:01:33Speaker 14: we'll see what happens with the Democrats. It'll be fun
- 1:01:35Speaker 14: to watch.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: Yeah, so you wrote a book about communism, but the
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: McCarthy fighting communism? Which book was that.
- 1:01:44Speaker 14: Reason?
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Treason? So McCarthy was trying to fight communists, get him
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: out of the government. And did you ever think we'd
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: have to do this for real? Now we've got to
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: do it here in New York in Seattle.
- 1:02:00Speaker 19: It was a little different then, but no, it didn't
- 1:02:03Speaker 19: seem to be pretty much dead and very I mean
- 1:02:06Speaker 19: even back when I wrote Treason, that was my third book,
- 1:02:10Speaker 19: and and even then I pointed out how interesting it
- 1:02:14Speaker 19: was that in Europe, you know, they have these welter
- 1:02:18Speaker 19: of parties. It's not it's not just you know, Republicans, Democrats, and.
- 1:02:22Speaker 14: A lot of the serious parties in European countries are communists.
- 1:02:28Speaker 14: What was interesting about America is that the the the
- 1:02:33Speaker 14: Nixon hard hats, the Trump bass uh and and I
- 1:02:38Speaker 14: might add the men who went and fought the Vietnam War.
- 1:02:41Speaker 14: Our hard hats have always been our biggest right wingers,
- 1:02:45Speaker 14: our most solid, solid patriotic Americans. Remember when the anti
- 1:02:52Speaker 14: Vietnam Maybe I wasn't alive for, but it's a moment
- 1:02:55Speaker 14: that stirs stirs my heart. When the when the hippie
- 1:02:58Speaker 14: anti Vietnam for Rochester's march down down, I don't know
- 1:03:03Speaker 14: whatever avenue it was in New York and Mayor Lindsay
- 1:03:07Speaker 14: hung the flag at half staff. The workers, the hard
- 1:03:11Speaker 14: hats came out and beat up the hippies, climbed up
- 1:03:14Speaker 14: the fat flagpole and raised it to full mast. That
- 1:03:19Speaker 14: that what, so what did they have to do? Working
- 1:03:23Speaker 14: people in other countries tend to be communists, not in
- 1:03:27Speaker 14: this country, quite the opposite. Still, what do you do
- 1:03:31Speaker 14: you bring in workers from other countries. So they're trying
- 1:03:35Speaker 14: to turn us into some crap ass European country.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: So uh so, where does this all end? I mean,
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: like the hippies stuff that stuff that all went away
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: at some point. Where does this end?
- 1:03:50Speaker 14: I don't know. I mean, I guess we'll see. I'm
- 1:03:52Speaker 14: very upset that Trump has restarted the Iran war, soft
- 1:03:55Speaker 14: markets crashing. Oh, this is fantastic. The bad news for Republicans.
- 1:04:00Speaker 14: I mean, the good news is Democrats are out of
- 1:04:02Speaker 14: their minds. But there are a lot of people voters
- 1:04:07Speaker 14: who are out of their minds thanks to immigration. But
- 1:04:11Speaker 14: right now, the single most important issue to Americans is
- 1:04:14Speaker 14: cost of living, and they approve of the job Trump
- 1:04:17Speaker 14: is doing by only thirty one percent. That is going
- 1:04:20Speaker 14: to be the toughest headwind for Susan Collins. She has
- 1:04:23Speaker 14: basically everything going in her favor. She doesn't even vote,
- 1:04:27Speaker 14: she isn't a thrumpster, she opposes him. And yet these
- 1:04:32Speaker 14: are big headwinds for every Republican. So don't get your
- 1:04:35Speaker 14: hopes up too much, no matter whom the Democrats are on.
- 1:04:39Speaker 8: And that's a.
- 1:04:40Speaker 14: Particularly frost situation when this is going to be as
- 1:04:45Speaker 14: it certainly looks like it will be a good year
- 1:04:47Speaker 14: for Democrats where people don't really care. A lot of
- 1:04:51Speaker 14: people vote just for the Democrats. They just think, No,
- 1:04:53Speaker 14: I don't like what's going on in the country. I'm
- 1:04:55Speaker 14: voting Democrats. So it's kind of terrifying that the Democrats
- 1:04:59Speaker 14: who will be on the ballot will be such such
- 1:05:04Speaker 14: communist lunatics. It could be a problem for the country.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: No, Uh, I don't know if you follow FIFA. I mean,
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: I have no interest in FIFA, but I noticed wherever
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: I go there's a million foreigners screaming for their team.
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: Uh.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: I didn't realize that's how soccer got so big in America, because.
- 1:05:27Speaker 14: That's exactly what I wrote about. I had two columns
- 1:05:30Speaker 14: attacking soccer a few years ago. I think I'll send
- 1:05:32Speaker 14: them out on subject today, just to remind people now
- 1:05:35Speaker 14: that hopefully FIFA fever has died down since since the
- 1:05:39Speaker 14: American's loss. But I assume, sorry, continue your porn. I
- 1:05:42Speaker 14: assume you are driving to left. He's being indigment at
- 1:05:47Speaker 14: Trumps standing up for the American player.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: Well, I mean, first of all, I don't think he
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: knows anything about soccer. I don't even know about some
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: whoever called him, he's an American, begged him to make
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: this phone call. So, but remember years ago they had soccer.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: It was Pele, Like twelve people in New Jersey watch it.
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: That was it?
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Now soccer a million people all over New York. So
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: is that just because we've got so many immigrants now?
- 1:06:14Speaker 10: Yes?
- 1:06:14Speaker 14: And also America hating Americans. It is such a non
- 1:06:18Speaker 14: American sport. It is like the metric system, all these
- 1:06:23Speaker 14: you know, not bathing, using one little sheet to wipe yourself,
- 1:06:28Speaker 14: all these idiotic things Europeans do that. The New York
- 1:06:32Speaker 14: Times and the Lesson is always trying to push on us.
- 1:06:34Speaker 14: Oh come on, why do you need to take more
- 1:06:36Speaker 14: than one.
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: Shower a week.
- 1:06:38Speaker 14: We're Americans shower three times a day and we waste
- 1:06:43Speaker 14: all times of gas on the grill.
- 1:06:45Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: So, but you know, it's caused chaos here in New York.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: There's a million people buying those jerseys from all these
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: And who do you root for? I'm watching the game.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: It's like Paraguay versus Uruguay. Who am I supposed a
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: root for in this game?
- 1:07:06Speaker 14: Well, he's probably a root for adderall to keep watching
- 1:07:10Speaker 14: they're so boring.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Yeah, So what do you think happen with Platner? Will
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: he get out? He's trying to demand to name his replacement.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Will they get him out? And then who is it
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: the government? The governor will run.
- 1:07:23Speaker 14: I don't think it'll be the woman who ran against him.
- 1:07:27Speaker 8: I never know these things.
- 1:07:28Speaker 14: I mean, this is an internal Democrat site. I think
- 1:07:30Speaker 14: he kind of has to get out now. I will say,
- 1:07:37Speaker 14: contrary to conventionalism, I really don't think this latest accusation
- 1:07:42Speaker 14: is absolutely the worst thing. I never thought the quote
- 1:07:45Speaker 14: Nazi tattoo was the worst if either one of those
- 1:07:48Speaker 14: taken in isolation with with an otherwise, you know, severar candidates.
- 1:07:55Speaker 10: But this guy just had a million things.
- 1:07:57Speaker 14: I mean, he was on some you know, meet Young.
- 1:08:01Speaker 9: Teens for Sex website, is the sex thing?
- 1:08:04Speaker 14: During his marriage, he viciously attacked some poor American soldier
- 1:08:09Speaker 14: who had his.
- 1:08:10Speaker 10: Leg blown off.
- 1:08:12Speaker 14: It's just one thing after another coming out. And the
- 1:08:15Speaker 14: reason I don't think this one.
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: Thing the rape.
- 1:08:19Speaker 9: I know this sounds odd, but by her own.
- 1:08:22Speaker 14: Account, he was so drunk he didn't know what he
- 1:08:25Speaker 14: was doing. You have really really bad behavior. It is
- 1:08:28Speaker 14: a drunken rape, but it's quite different from someone who
- 1:08:31Speaker 14: knows what he's doing when he's committing a rape.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: But if also the fact that he looks like the
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: guy in Cape Fear Killer that.
- 1:08:39Speaker 9: Mo Well, I love it.
- 1:08:43Speaker 14: This is the idea of the democrats, like working class,
- 1:08:46Speaker 14: a white man. We got to run some white man
- 1:08:49Speaker 14: and every Democrat they can pull out who isn't a
- 1:08:53Speaker 14: soy boy, a foreigner or a woman. You know, it
- 1:08:57Speaker 14: turns out to be a psychopath. It's probably because why
- 1:09:00Speaker 14: would any white man be a Democrat?
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Well, I hate to say it. We're out of time,
