Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:02
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to pick up
• 0:06
Speaker 1: where we left off with a Cordy Wilde deposition. Question.
• 0:11
Speaker 1: Do you ever remember telling the FBI agent that you
• 0:14
Speaker 1: started stripping at age 16? Answer. No, I don't remember that. Question. Okay.
• 0:20
Speaker 1: Do you know what the non-prosecution agreement is? Do you
• 0:23
Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about when I talk about that? Answer. Yes. Question. Okay.
• 0:28
Speaker 1: What does that mean to you? Answer. Yes. It's where
• 0:31
Speaker 1: it's not. I can't really explain it into words. Question.
• 0:36
Speaker 1: Do your best to tell me what it means to you. Answer.
• 0:38
Speaker 1: I can't even really explain. Question. Okay. Answer. What is it? Question. Well,
• 0:43
Speaker 1: whatever it is, is it your testimony that you did
• 0:46
Speaker 1: not know a non-prosecution agreement existed? Answer. Right. Question. You
• 0:50
Speaker 1: never knew about that? Answer. No. Question. Is that correct? Answer. Right. Question. Okay,
• 0:57
Speaker 1: before the non-prosecution agreement was signed, no one told you
• 0:59
Speaker 1: about that? Answer, no. Somebody came to my work. The
• 1:03
Speaker 1: FBI agents came to my work and told me that
• 1:06
Speaker 1: they were considering settling. You know, that Jeffrey was going
• 1:09
Speaker 1: to plead out to charges and everything else. I didn't
• 1:13
Speaker 1: understand that he was pleading out to the state. I
• 1:15
Speaker 1: thought that there was a federal case that he was
• 1:18
Speaker 1: still going to be charged for. That's how under it. Question,
• 1:22
Speaker 1: where were you working when they came to see you? Answer,
• 1:25
Speaker 1: Sally's Beauty Supply. Question, okay, so FBI agents came to
• 1:29
Speaker 1: Sally's Beauty Supply? Answer, yes. Question, was it a female agent? Answer, yes. Question, Kirkendall.
• 1:36
Speaker 1: Does that ring any bells? Answer, I think it was Nesbitt. Question,
• 1:41
Speaker 1: Nesbitt Kirkendall? Answer, yeah. Question, okay, and your recollection is
• 1:46
Speaker 1: that she came to you at this beauty salon store? Answer, correct. Question,
• 1:51
Speaker 1: and what is it that you remember her telling you? Answer,
• 1:55
Speaker 1: she told me that it was good news. That they
• 1:58
Speaker 1: were considering Jeffrey Epstein signing an agreement to plead guilty
• 2:02
Speaker 1: for whatever charges I can't remember she said. But that
• 2:05
Speaker 1: was going. It wasn't something that was going to happen
• 2:07
Speaker 1: right away. But it was something that had been brought
• 2:11
Speaker 1: up she wanted to come and tell me about. Question, okay.
• 2:14
Speaker 1: And it was your understanding that Mr. Epstein was still
• 2:16
Speaker 1: going to be prosecuted for a federal offense? Answer, right.
• 2:20
Speaker 1: Because the federal, because they were involved. And when they
• 2:23
Speaker 1: were investigating me, asking questions, they were telling me how,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: you know, he's done this internationally to all these women.
• 2:30
Speaker 1: I didn't think that it was just Palm Beach County.
• 2:32
Speaker 1: You know, Palm Beach County was just going to charge him.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: I thought he was being charged. You know what I mean? Federally.
• 2:38
Speaker 1: So I was confused. It was a misunderstanding of exactly
• 2:42
Speaker 1: of what and who was charging him. I didn't understand
• 2:45
Speaker 1: that question. So it was a misunderstanding answer. I mean,
• 2:49
Speaker 1: the feds came to my work. and told me that
• 2:52
Speaker 1: he was being charged. It was possibility that he would
• 2:55
Speaker 1: be charged by the state. I didn't think that anything
• 2:58
Speaker 1: to do with their federal case that they had on him. Question,
• 3:02
Speaker 1: was that before or after you met with agent Nesbitt
• 3:04
Speaker 1: Kirkendall at a Publix grocery store in Palm Beach Gardens? Answer,
• 3:09
Speaker 1: that was the same day. I worked at Sally's Beauty
• 3:12
Speaker 1: Supply and I walked out during my break. I went
• 3:14
Speaker 1: to the Publix to talk to her. Question, I see,
• 3:18
Speaker 1: and that was in October of 2007. Answer, yes. Question, okay.
• 3:22
Speaker 1: And you deny that Ms. Kirkendall, Agent Kirkendall, told you
• 3:26
Speaker 1: that there would never be a federal prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein? Answer,
• 3:30
Speaker 1: she said, I don't think she said that to me. Question, okay.
• 3:34
Speaker 1: Were you doing drugs at that time? Answer, no. Question,
• 3:38
Speaker 1: that was a period of time when you were not
• 3:40
Speaker 1: doing drugs? Answer, when I was at work, I was
• 3:43
Speaker 1: not on drugs when she told me. Question, all right,
• 3:47
Speaker 1: but during that period of time, not the specific time
• 3:49
Speaker 1: that you met with the agent, were you one of
• 3:51
Speaker 1: the periods where you were doing drugs? Answer, yes. Question, okay. Answer, sure. Question,
• 3:58
Speaker 1: and do you have a recollection of the agent Kirkendall
• 4:00
Speaker 1: telling you that there would not be a federal prosecution
• 4:03
Speaker 1: of Mr. Epstein? Answer, no, I don't remember her saying
• 4:07
Speaker 1: that to me. Question, I see. Do you remember having
• 4:09
Speaker 1: a discussion with the federal agent as part of Epstein's agreement?
• 4:14
Speaker 1: He had made some concessions that would make it easier
• 4:17
Speaker 1: for you to collect damages. Scarola. Objection. Leading. Wild. No. Goldberger. Okay,
• 4:24
Speaker 1: you don't recall that. Answer. Meeting with who? Question. When
• 4:28
Speaker 1: you met with the agents, do you recall whether they
• 4:30
Speaker 1: told you that as part of Mr. Epstein's plea agreement?
• 4:33
Speaker 1: He had reached an agreement to make concessions that would
• 4:36
Speaker 1: make it easier for you to obtain damages. Scarola. Objection. Leading. Wild. No,
• 4:42
Speaker 1: I don't remember that. Question. Okay. Answer, I don't remember that. Goldberger, okay.
• 4:48
Speaker 1: How many times did you meet with Agent Kirkenbaugh? Answer,
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: I met with her a couple times. I can't remember
• 4:54
Speaker 1: exactly how many times I met with her, but I
• 4:58
Speaker 1: met with her probably a handful of times, maybe three
• 5:01
Speaker 1: or four times. Question, okay. And did you meet with
• 5:04
Speaker 1: any other special agents of the FBI prior to Mr.
• 5:07
Speaker 1: Epstein entering his plea? Answer, no. Question, okay. Did you
• 5:11
Speaker 1: meet with any U.S. attorney, assistant United States attorneys at
• 5:15
Speaker 1: any time during the pendency of Mr. Epstein's case? Answer.
• 5:19
Speaker 1: At one point, I met with a lady, Maria. Question. Marie. Correct. Answer. Marie.
• 5:25
Speaker 1: But I can't remember if he had already taken the
• 5:27
Speaker 1: plea or not. I don't know if when I found
• 5:30
Speaker 1: out if he had already pled out. I didn't even
• 5:33
Speaker 1: know that it had been so long afterwards. I know
• 5:36
Speaker 1: that I met with a group of women at a
• 5:37
Speaker 1: table and I know Marie. told me that she was
• 5:40
Speaker 1: sorry for, you know, me being a victim of Jeffrey's,
• 5:43
Speaker 1: and that if there was anything she could do to
• 5:45
Speaker 1: help me, as far as victim services and stuff like that,
• 5:48
Speaker 1: she would. And they did. They helped me get the
• 5:52
Speaker 1: lady I would go to talk to, Randy Special, like
• 5:56
Speaker 1: a counselor. Question, how many times did you see? Scrolla,
• 5:59
Speaker 1: excuse me? Goldberger, you can finish the answer. Goldberger, anything
• 6:04
Speaker 1: else you want to tell me before the witness? No. Question, Okay,
• 6:08
Speaker 1: how many times did you see this Randy? Was her name? Answer, yeah.
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: I've seen her a bunch of times. I can't remember
• 6:14
Speaker 1: how many times. Question, less than 10? Answer, no, more
• 6:18
Speaker 1: than 10. Question, more than 10? Answer, yeah. Question, okay,
• 6:23
Speaker 1: did you ever answer that question differently? Answer, I can't remember. Scrolla, objection,
• 6:28
Speaker 1: improper impeachment. Goldberger, were you told that prior to Mr.
• 6:32
Speaker 1: Epstein entering is guilty? Strike that. Were you told that
• 6:35
Speaker 1: any time? that Mr. Epstein, as part of his plea agreement,
• 6:38
Speaker 1: would be required to register as a sex offender for life? Scrolla,
• 6:43
Speaker 1: pardon me, I'm going to object to that question to
• 6:45
Speaker 1: the extent that it may call for attorney-client privilege communication. Goldberger,
• 6:50
Speaker 1: were you told by anyone from the FBI or the U.S.
• 6:53
Speaker 1: Attorney's Office, as part of Mr. Epstein's plea agreement, he
• 6:56
Speaker 1: was going to be required to register as a sex
• 6:59
Speaker 1: offender for life? Answer, I was never told. I was
• 7:03
Speaker 1: kept in the dark when he pled out. I didn't
• 7:05
Speaker 1: know that my case had anything to do with what
• 7:08
Speaker 1: he was pleading out to, so I was never told
• 7:10
Speaker 1: anything to him about him pleading out and what was
• 7:13
Speaker 1: going on. I didn't know anything about it. Question, do
• 7:17
Speaker 1: you recall meeting with Special Agent Nesbitt, Kirkendall, and Special
• 7:20
Speaker 1: Agent Jason Richards on October 26, 2007, and being told
• 7:25
Speaker 1: that Mr. Epstein was going to be required to register
• 7:28
Speaker 1: as a sex offender for life? Scrolla, Objection. Courtney Wilde.
• 7:34
Speaker 1: And that was at Publix? Goldberger, pardon? Answer. That was
• 7:38
Speaker 1: at Publix that we met because that was the only
• 7:41
Speaker 1: time they ever came to me and told me that
• 7:45
Speaker 1: he was possibly going to be prosecuted. It was up
• 7:48
Speaker 1: in the air. Goldberger, my specific question was whether Mr. Weather,
• 7:53
Speaker 1: we were told by agents of the FBI, special agents
• 7:56
Speaker 1: with the FBI, that Mr. Epstein was going to be
• 7:59
Speaker 1: required to register as a sex offender for life. Answer,
• 8:04
Speaker 1: I don't remember ever being told that. Question, okay, and
• 8:07
Speaker 1: I want to make sure I understand what the agents
• 8:09
Speaker 1: told you about whether Mr. Epstein, whether they told you
• 8:12
Speaker 1: that Mr. Epstein was entering a guilty plea to state
• 8:15
Speaker 1: charges and would not be prosecuted federally. Your testimony is
• 8:19
Speaker 1: that you were never told that? Answer, she told me
• 8:22
Speaker 1: that it was a possibility he was going to be
• 8:24
Speaker 1: prosecuted and plead guilty to the state charges. I didn't
• 8:27
Speaker 1: understand how that had anything to do with me, being that,
• 8:30
Speaker 1: you know, there was many more victims. He was pleading
• 8:33
Speaker 1: out to two counts, a solicitation of prostitution of a minor.
• 8:37
Speaker 1: It didn't even make sense. I explained that to both
• 8:40
Speaker 1: the people that came and seen me, Nesbitt and the guy.
• 8:44
Speaker 1: That makes that charge doesn't even make sense for me,
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: you know. That's why I didn't. I didn't think it
• 8:49
Speaker 1: had anything to do with me. I know that when
• 8:52
Speaker 1: I see it on the news... And his mugshot, I
• 8:55
Speaker 1: said that, you know, he was being it was two
• 8:58
Speaker 1: young girls under the age of 14. I thought that's
• 9:00
Speaker 1: what it had to do with. I had no idea
• 9:03
Speaker 1: that it had to do with me or any of
• 9:05
Speaker 1: the other victims that he did sexually abuse. Scarola, excuse me,
• 9:10
Speaker 1: I'm going to interrupt for just a moment. Do you
• 9:12
Speaker 1: have other questions relating to the Crime Victims Rights Act case? Goldberger,
• 9:16
Speaker 1: I do. Scarola, okay, I'm going to object to your
• 9:19
Speaker 1: examination of Ms. Wilde on issues relating to another case.
• 9:23
Speaker 1: Those matters don't have any relevance or materiality to this
• 9:27
Speaker 1: lawsuit in which she's being deposed. Her counsel has not
• 9:30
Speaker 1: had the opportunity to prepare for a deposition in the
• 9:33
Speaker 1: Crime Victims Rights Act case. I'm going to instruct her
• 9:37
Speaker 1: not to answer any additional questions regarding the Crime Victims
• 9:40
Speaker 1: Rights Act case. You may proffer the additional questions that
• 9:43
Speaker 1: you'd like to ask for the record, but she will
• 9:46
Speaker 1: not answer those pending our ability to obtain a protective order. Goldberger. Well,
• 9:51
Speaker 1: we have lots of questions that we intend to ask
• 9:54
Speaker 1: about the Crime Victim Rights Act and based on your
• 9:56
Speaker 1: cause of action and your theory that you have. you've
• 10:00
Speaker 1: explained to the court as to why Mr. Epstein filed
• 10:02
Speaker 1: the claim against your client, it's relevant, and I recognize
• 10:06
Speaker 1: that you are advising your client not to answer questions. Skrola,
• 10:10
Speaker 1: she's not my client. This is a witness. Goldberger, and
• 10:14
Speaker 1: you're instructing Skrola. And I am instructing her, I am
• 10:17
Speaker 1: informing you, that additional questions relating to the Crime Victims
• 10:21
Speaker 1: Rights Act case, beyond those that have already been asked
• 10:23
Speaker 1: and answered, are not relevant or material or reasonably calculated
• 10:28
Speaker 1: to lead to relevant and material information. Goldberger, well, I...
• 10:33
Speaker 1: He gets cut off by Skorola. You are, excuse me. Goldberger,
• 10:36
Speaker 1: finish your proffer. Finish whatever you want to say for
• 10:39
Speaker 1: the record. Skorola, thank you. You are annoying, harassing this witness...
• 10:43
Speaker 1: and we will seek a protective order. Obviously, that can't
• 10:46
Speaker 1: be done right now, so proffer your questions. If there's
• 10:49
Speaker 1: any among them that I believe to be an exception
• 10:52
Speaker 1: to the position that I just stated, I'd be happy
• 10:55
Speaker 1: to allow her to answer. Otherwise, I'm telling you generally
• 10:58
Speaker 1: that additional questions regarding the Victim's Rights Act case we
• 11:02
Speaker 1: can consider to be entirely inappropriate. Goldberger, well, I need
• 11:07
Speaker 1: to understand what your objection is. Is it irrelevant, or
• 11:10
Speaker 1: is it because she hasn't had opportunity to speak to
• 11:12
Speaker 1: her counsel? Scarola, well, it, he gets cut off by Goldberger.
• 11:16
Speaker 1: Two different issues. Let me finish, okay? I need to
• 11:19
Speaker 1: know specifically what you're saying so I can determine how
• 11:23
Speaker 1: I'm going to reply to what you're telling someone who
• 11:25
Speaker 1: is not your client to not answer. So, he gets
• 11:29
Speaker 1: cut off by Scarola again. Both. Goldberger, okay, both what? Scarola,
• 11:34
Speaker 1: both of the grounds that you have inquired about. Goldberger,
• 11:37
Speaker 1: are there any other grounds that you're using to advise
• 11:39
Speaker 1: someone who is not your client to not answer questions? Skorola, well,
• 11:44
Speaker 1: that really depends on what the additional questions are. Goldberger, well,
• 11:48
Speaker 1: we may have additional questions. Skorola, go ahead and ask them.
• 11:52
Speaker 1: Proffer them for the record. Goldberger, okay. Skorola, I'll raise
• 11:56
Speaker 1: my objection and instruct the witness not to answer, and
• 11:59
Speaker 1: we'll move on from there. Goldberger, all right. Skorola, and
• 12:03
Speaker 1: just so that things are abbreviated, I will simply say,
• 12:06
Speaker 1: same objection, same instruction. Goldberger, okay, well, I'd like, if
• 12:11
Speaker 1: you have any additional objections... other than she doesn't have
• 12:14
Speaker 1: an opportunity to consult with her attorney or you think
• 12:16
Speaker 1: it's irrelevant, then please state them. Scarola, and you are
• 12:21
Speaker 1: improperly seeking to take discovery in a case other than
• 12:24
Speaker 1: the case that is presently pending before the court. Mr. Goldberger, okay,
• 12:29
Speaker 1: fair enough. All right, folks, we're going to wrap up
• 12:32
Speaker 1: this episode right here. And the next episode dealing with
• 12:35
Speaker 1: the topic we're going to pick up where we left off.
• 12:37
Speaker 1: All of the information that goes with this episode can
• 12:40
Speaker 1: be found in the description box. What's up everyone and
• 12:43
Speaker 1: welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode,
• 12:48
Speaker 1: we're going to pick up where we left off with
• 12:50
Speaker 1: the Courtney Wilde deposition. Mr. Goldberg, at any time did
• 12:56
Speaker 1: the FBI agents, did any FBI agent tell you that Mr.
• 13:00
Speaker 1: Epstein was pleading guilty in state court to avoid federal prosecution? Scrolla,
• 13:05
Speaker 1: same objection, same instruction. Goldberg, Did you ask the FBI
• 13:10
Speaker 1: at any time to speak to prosecutors prior to Mr.
• 13:13
Speaker 1: Epstein entering into his guilty plea? Scrolla. Same objection. Same instruction. Goldberger.
• 13:19
Speaker 1: Did you have the prosecutor's phone number so you could
• 13:21
Speaker 1: call her? Scrolla. Same objection. Same instruction. Goldberger. Did you,
• 13:27
Speaker 1: in fact, receive a victim's notification letter? Scrolla. Same objection.
• 13:31
Speaker 1: Same instruction. Goldberger. And on that letter, did it not
• 13:35
Speaker 1: have the prosecutor's direct dial number? Scrolla. Same objection, same instruction. Goldberger,
• 13:41
Speaker 1: and did the prosecutor in fact tell you in person
• 13:44
Speaker 1: that you could call her at any time to discuss
• 13:47
Speaker 1: this matter? Scarola, same objection, same instruction. Goldberger, do you
• 13:52
Speaker 1: recall receiving a letter from Ms. Villafana when you met
• 13:55
Speaker 1: with her at the FBI at Publix in 2007? Scarola,
• 13:59
Speaker 1: same objection, same instruction. Goldberger, do you deny that you
• 14:03
Speaker 1: had Ms. Villafana's direct phone number to call her if
• 14:06
Speaker 1: you so decided? Mr. Skrola, same objection, same instruction. Mr. Goldberger,
• 14:13
Speaker 1: do you know whether the non-prosecution agreement made it easier
• 14:16
Speaker 1: for you to seek damages against Mr. Epstein? Skrola, same objection,
• 14:21
Speaker 1: same instruction. Goldberger, how many times did you meet with
• 14:24
Speaker 1: the FBI and Publix to discuss the non-prosecution agreement involving
• 14:28
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein? Skrola, same objection, same instruction. Also, repetitious. Mr. Goldberger, well,
• 14:36
Speaker 1: I want to make sure I have a record. Scarola,
• 14:39
Speaker 1: you do. Goldberger, okay, I don't think you're wearing a robe,
• 14:42
Speaker 1: so I'm going to decide whether I have a record, okay?
• 14:46
Speaker 1: Do you recall being interviewed by Special Agent Nesbitt Kirkendall
• 14:49
Speaker 1: in August of 2007? The witness, I can't remember the
• 14:53
Speaker 1: exact dates when I met her. Goldberger, do you recall
• 14:57
Speaker 1: when you did meet with her? At no time did
• 14:59
Speaker 1: you ask to confer with anyone from the government? about
• 15:02
Speaker 1: any potential criminal charges, decisions, or about any partial resolution
• 15:06
Speaker 1: of the matter involving Jeffrey Epstein? Scrolla, same objection, same instruction,
• 15:11
Speaker 1: also leading. Goldberger, is it true that between the time
• 15:15
Speaker 1: of that interview in August of 2007 and September of 2007,
• 15:18
Speaker 1: when Mr. Epstein signed his non-prosecution agreement, you never contacted
• 15:24
Speaker 1: either Agent Nesbitt, Kirkendall, or her co-agent asking for information
• 15:28
Speaker 1: about the investigation? or asking to confer with anyone from
• 15:32
Speaker 1: the government about potential criminal charges, decisions, or about the
• 15:35
Speaker 1: resolution of the matter? Scarola, same objection, same instruction, leading, compound. Goldberger,
• 15:42
Speaker 1: do you recall being interviewed by Agent Nesbitt Kirkendall? Marie Villafana,
• 15:46
Speaker 1: Assistant United States Attorney, and Myesha Braden from the Justice
• 15:51
Speaker 1: Department in January, specifically January 31st of 2008? Answer, now
• 15:58
Speaker 1: who was it that I met with? Goldberger, well, I'm
• 16:01
Speaker 1: asking you whether you did meet with them. First of all, okay.
• 16:04
Speaker 1: January 31st, 2008. Did you participate in an interview with
• 16:09
Speaker 1: Marie Villafana? That's the assistant United States attorney, special agent
• 16:13
Speaker 1: Nesbitt Kirkendall and Myesha. Myesha Braden from the Justice Department. Answer,
• 16:19
  Speaker 1: I think that's the time I met with. I told
• 16:21
Speaker 1: you that I met with a group of people and
• 16:23
Speaker 1: they were just going over the victim service. like stuff
• 16:26
Speaker 1: that could they offer me to get therapy and stuff
• 16:29
Speaker 1: like that. I believe that's the time. I'm not even
• 16:31
  Speaker 1: 100% sure, and I can't remember the people's names that
• 16:35
Speaker 1: I met with. Question, I understand that. Do you also remember,
• 16:39
Speaker 1: by the way, meeting with Vili Ferrer, the U.S. attorney,
• 16:42
Speaker 1: the acting U.S. attorney? Answer, uh-uh. Question, no. Answer, no,
• 16:47
Speaker 1: I don't. Question, okay, do you recall getting a letter
• 16:51
Speaker 1: from Special Master Judge Davis identifying Robert Josephsburg, an attorney?
• 16:55
Speaker 1: that the court would find to help sue Mr. Epstein
• 16:58
Speaker 1: for restitution? Answer. I believe I did receive a mail
• 17:02
Speaker 1: or a letter stating something like that, that they would
• 17:06
Speaker 1: give me an attorney, but I can't remember exactly what
• 17:08
Speaker 1: it said. Question. Okay. You elected not to take advantage
• 17:12
Speaker 1: of that. You use Mr. Edwards as your attorney. Answer. Yeah.
• 17:16
Speaker 1: I think by the time you might have been my
• 17:18
Speaker 1: attorney already. Yeah. Question. Okay. And the lawsuit that Mr.
• 17:21
Speaker 1: Epstein filed, scroller, The record will reflect that the U
• 17:26
Speaker 1: in that response is a reference to Mr. Edwards. Goldberger, okay,
• 17:30
Speaker 1: by the way, I'm done. I think I'm done with
• 17:34
Speaker 1: the areas that I want to proffer about the NPA,
• 17:36
Speaker 1: so we're going to move on to some other stuff.
• 17:39
Speaker 1: Have you ever actually reviewed the complaint that Mr. Edwards
• 17:42
Speaker 1: filed on your behalf? Answer, what complaint? Question, the lawsuit. Answer, yeah. Question, okay,
• 17:48
Speaker 1: you reviewed it. I'm going to read you part of
• 17:51
Speaker 1: the complaint. That you said that you've reviewed. The plaintiff
• 17:55
Speaker 1: is included in the list of victims identified by the federal. Scrolla.
• 17:59
Speaker 1: Excuse me, would you identify what you were reading from? Goldberger.
• 18:03
Speaker 1: The complaint that your client filed. Scrolla. You mean the
• 18:06
Speaker 1: complaint that Mr. Edwards filed on behalf of Ms. Wilde? Goldberger.
• 18:11
Speaker 1: The complaint that your client, Brad Edwards, filed on behalf
• 18:14
Speaker 1: of Ms. Wilde. Yeah. Scrolla. And the complaint had subsequent amendments. Goldberger. Right. Scrolla.
• 18:20
Speaker 1: So are you reading from the original complaint or the
• 18:23
Speaker 1: amended complaint? Goldberger, it's the same whether it's in the
• 18:26
Speaker 1: complaint or the amended complaint. The paragraph that we're going
• 18:30
Speaker 1: to talk about is in both. So you could use
• 18:33
Speaker 1: the amended complaint or you could use the original complaint. Edwards,
• 18:37
Speaker 1: what paragraph? Goldberger, paragraph 20. Scarola, I'm sorry, which one? Goldberger, 20.
• 18:43
Speaker 1: And it may be 22 in the amended complaint, but
• 18:47
Speaker 1: it's the same exact paragraph. Scarola, well, I have it
• 18:50
Speaker 1: in front of me. Of the third amended complaint, Goldberger,
• 18:53
Speaker 1: can I take a look at it? Maybe I can
• 18:55
Speaker 1: make the record better if I take a look at it. Okay, Mr. Edwards,
• 18:59
Speaker 1: on your behalf, filed several complaints, amended several complaints. Answer, right. Question, okay.
• 19:06
Speaker 1: And you're aware of the federal lawsuit he also prepared? Answer, right. Answer,
• 19:11
Speaker 1: the CVR. Question, no. Answer, which lawsuit are we talking about? Question, well,
• 19:18
Speaker 1: Let's hold that thought. We'll come back. I'm not talking
• 19:20
Speaker 1: about the CVRA case. Answer, okay. Question, I'm talking about
• 19:24
Speaker 1: another lawsuit that he prepared, and we'll come back to
• 19:27
Speaker 1: that in a minute. By the way, when you worked
• 19:29
Speaker 1: at the strip clubs before you were 18, did you
• 19:32
Speaker 1: have an adult entertainment card? Answer, no. Question, do you
• 19:35
Speaker 1: know what that is? Answer, yeah. Question, okay, what is it? Answer,
• 19:41
Speaker 1: it's a license that you have to have to dance.
• 19:44
Speaker 1: They made it that you have to have it now.
• 19:46
Speaker 1: But before, you didn't have to have it. But some
• 19:48
Speaker 1: people did if they would go after it. of the county,
• 19:50
Speaker 1: like out of Palm Beach County. Question, yeah, and how
• 19:54
Speaker 1: old do you have to be to get that adult
• 19:55
Speaker 1: entertainment card? Answer, 18. Question, okay, so you were dancing
• 20:00
Speaker 1: without a card before you were 18. Answer, I was
• 20:03
Speaker 1: dancing without a card before I was 18. Question, okay.
• 20:08
Speaker 1: How about before you were 18? Were you dancing without
• 20:10
Speaker 1: a card? Answer, no. Question, no, you were not. Answer,
• 20:15
  Speaker 1: I wasn't dancing before. A couple times that I would
• 20:18
Speaker 1: go dance. Like one night I went to a strip
• 20:20
Speaker 1: club with a bunch of my friends and I got
• 20:22
Speaker 1: on the stage and made some money and that was it.
• 20:25
  Speaker 1: But I wasn't like working there. I wasn't even supposed
• 20:27
Speaker 1: to be on stage or anything like that. Question, all right.
• 20:31
Speaker 1: At any time when you went to Jeffrey Epstein's house,
• 20:34
Speaker 1: were you there? Ever any drugs there? Answer, no. Question,
• 20:38
Speaker 1: did you ever see any drugs there? Answer, no. Question,
• 20:42
Speaker 1: were you ever given alcohol when you were at Mr.
• 20:44
Speaker 1: Epstein's home? Answer, no. Question, did you ever see Mr.
• 20:48
Speaker 1: Epstein drink? Answer, no. Question, when I say drink, I
• 20:52
Speaker 1: mean alcohol. Answer, right. Question, okay. Were you ever given
• 20:56
Speaker 1: any pills or drugs at Mr. Epstein's home? Answer, no. Question,
• 21:01
Speaker 1: did Mr. Epstein ever give you advice about not using
• 21:04
Speaker 1: illegal drugs? Answer, no. Question, are you sure of that? Answer,
• 21:09
Speaker 1: not to my knowledge. I can't remember him saying anything
• 21:12
Speaker 1: about it. Question, okay. Do you remember telling the FBI
• 21:15
Speaker 1: agents that you were interviewed on August 7th of 2007
• 21:19
Speaker 1: that Mr. Epstein counseled you not to use any drugs? Answer,
• 21:24
Speaker 1: I don't remember. Brad Edwards, objection. Improper impeachment if the
• 21:28
Speaker 1: witness can see the statement. Goldberger, you don't remember? Would
• 21:32
Speaker 1: you read the memorandum of interview dated August 7th, 2007?
• 21:37
Speaker 1: I'm going to direct you. I only have one copy.
• 21:40
Speaker 1: You want to look at it first? Scrolla. Yeah, thank you.
• 21:43
Speaker 1: Is there a particular section you want to call attention to? Goldberger. Yeah, actually, maybe.
• 21:49
Speaker 1: Do I have another copy? No, different interview. Scrolla. Do
• 21:53
Speaker 1: you want to mark the section that you'd like us
• 21:55
Speaker 1: to look at? Goldberger. I might. Here you go. Scrolla.
• 22:01
Speaker 1: Do you have the first two pages that go with
• 22:03
Speaker 1: the document? Goldberger, I do not. Maybe I do. Yeah, no,
• 22:07
Speaker 1: different interview. We have not the complete document, but I'm
• 22:10
Speaker 1: concerned about a specific reference in the memorandum of interview
• 22:14
Speaker 1: concerning whether Mr. Epstein advised the witness to not use
• 22:18
Speaker 1: controlled substance and showing her the document to refresh her recollection. Mr.
• 22:23
Speaker 1: Scarola and both we and the witness have a right
• 22:26
Speaker 1: to review the document in its entirety. I'm going to
• 22:29
Speaker 1: object to its use in partial form. Goldberger, here you go.
• 22:34
Speaker 1: Here's the whole document. Scarola, thank you. Do you have
• 22:37
Speaker 1: this document in unredacted form so we can identify who
• 22:40
Speaker 1: these people are? Goldberger, it has never been provided, as
• 22:44
Speaker 1: you know, as a former prosecutor, Mr. Scarola. Certain items
• 22:48
Speaker 1: are privileged and protected, and that is what we receive
• 22:51
Speaker 1: from the FBI. Scarola, but that's not a response to
• 22:54
Speaker 1: my question. Goldberger, yeah, well... Scorola, do you have this
• 22:59
Speaker 1: document in unredacted form so that we can identify who
• 23:02
Speaker 1: the interviewee and interviewers are? Goldberger, I've given you everything. Actually,
• 23:07
Speaker 1: we probably took it off the discovery you provided to us,
• 23:10
Speaker 1: so you have everything that we have. Scorola, okay, thank you.
• 23:14
Speaker 1: And you would like the witness to look at three
• 23:17
Speaker 1: lines that are highlighted? Well, you have one line highlighted, actually,
• 23:20
Speaker 1: but do you want her to look at all three
• 23:22
Speaker 1: lines in that very short paragraph? Mr. Goldberger, if I've
• 23:26
Speaker 1: highlighted one line and you think the question is or
• 23:28
Speaker 1: requires her to look at the three lines, she may
• 23:30
Speaker 1: look at the three lines. Scarola, well, the one line
• 23:34
Speaker 1: you highlighted for the record read Epstein with massages said
• 23:38
Speaker 1: that Epstein tried to provide her. Goldberger, okay. Is there
• 23:42
Speaker 1: more there? I mean, I don't want to play games
• 23:44
Speaker 1: if you think there's more. Scarola, I don't want to
• 23:47
Speaker 1: play games either. I just want to know what it
• 23:49
Speaker 1: is you want to call the witness's attention to. Goldberger,
• 23:53
Speaker 1: I'm highlighting the entire paragraph. Redacted, used illegal drugs during
• 23:57
Speaker 1: the year. I'll read it into the record. Redacted, used
• 24:00
Speaker 1: illegal drugs during the year. She provided Epstein with massages.
• 24:04
Speaker 1: Redacted said that Epstein tried to provide her with advice
• 24:07
Speaker 1: regarding controlled substance. That's what I'm asking you. Whether it
• 24:12
Speaker 1: refreshes your memory as to whether Mr. Epstein ever gave
• 24:15
Speaker 1: you advice about using illegal drugs. Answer, I can't remember that. Scrolla,
• 24:21
Speaker 1: I would like this document marked as an exhibit to
• 24:23
Speaker 1: the deposition. Goldberger, we can do it in a moment.
• 24:27
Speaker 1: We'll put it over there. Scrolla, do you mind if
• 24:29
Speaker 1: I just write exhibit number one on the bottom right
• 24:32
Speaker 1: hand corner? Goldberger, well, let me make sure my notes. Scrolla,
• 24:37
Speaker 1: there's no notes on it. Goldberger, let me take a
• 24:39
Speaker 1: look at it. Scrolla, except for your yellow highlighting. Goldberger,
• 24:44
Speaker 1: let me take a look at it. One copy I
• 24:45
Speaker 1: think I put some notes on. Sure. Scrolla, thank you
• 24:48
Speaker 1: for the record. I am marking this document consisting of
• 24:51
Speaker 1: five pages, and I'm placing exhibit number one in the
• 24:54
Speaker 1: lower right-hand corner, whereupon exhibit number one was marked for identification.
• 25:00
Speaker 1: All right, folks, we're going to wrap up this episode
• 25:02
Speaker 1: right here, and in the next episode dealing with the topic,
• 25:05
Speaker 1: we're going to pick up where we left off. All
• 25:08
Speaker 1: of the information that goes with this episode can be
• 25:10
Speaker 1: found in the description box. What's up everyone and welcome
• 25:14
Speaker 1: to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode
• 25:18
Speaker 1: we're going to pick up where we left off with
• 25:20
Speaker 1: the Courtney Wilde deposition. Goldberger. Have you ever referred to
• 25:25
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein as a fucking Jew? Answer I may have.
• 25:30
Speaker 1: Question when did you do that ma'am? When did you
• 25:32
Speaker 1: refer to Mr. Epstein as a fucking Jew? Answer I
• 25:35
Speaker 1: don't know in my past I may have said that. Question. Question.
• 25:39
Speaker 1: How many times have you referred to Mr. Epstein as
• 25:42
Speaker 1: a fucking Jew? Answer. I don't remember. Question more than once. Answer. Yes. Question.
• 25:49
Speaker 1: That was hateful. Answer. Yes, it was. Question. That was anti-Semitic. Answer. Yes. Question.
• 25:57
Speaker 1: How many people have you called? How many have you
• 25:59
Speaker 1: said to? Strike that. Have you told more than one
• 26:01
Speaker 1: person that Mr. Epstein was a fucking Jew? Answer. Yes, possibly. Question.
• 26:07
Speaker 1: And as you sit here today. You don't know who
• 26:09
Speaker 1: you made that anti-Semitic remark to? Answer, I can't remember
• 26:13
Speaker 1: who I said that to. Question, when was the first
• 26:16
Speaker 1: time you met Mr. Edwards? Answer, let's see. It's been probably,
• 26:20
Speaker 1: I can't remember how long it's been since I met you.
• 26:23
Speaker 1: It's been a while. Question, do you know how you
• 26:26
Speaker 1: met Mr. Edwards? Answer, yes, through Jay Howell. Question, Jay
• 26:30
Speaker 1: Howell's a lawyer? Answer, yes. Question, would that have been
• 26:34
Speaker 1: back in 2007 or 2008 perhaps? Answer, that sounds about right, yeah. Question, okay,
• 26:40
Speaker 1: do you know Paul Cassell? Answer, yes. Question, okay, have
• 26:43
Speaker 1: you met Paul Cassell? Answer, yes. Question, how many times
• 26:47
Speaker 1: have you met Paul Cassell? Answer, maybe three times. Question, okay,
• 26:52
Speaker 1: once when you were brought over in custody for the mediation?
• 26:55
Speaker 1: In the CVRA case? Answer, yes. Question, and you met
• 26:58
Speaker 1: him other times? Answer, yes. Question, two other times? Answer, yes. Question, okay.
• 27:05
Speaker 1: You know your plaintiff in the CVRA case, right? Answer, yes. Question, okay.
• 27:10
Speaker 1: Did you sign any kind of agreement letter on that case? Answer,
• 27:14
Speaker 1: I don't understand what that means. Question, sure. When you
• 27:17
Speaker 1: sued Epstein for money, you signed a contract, right? Answer, right. Question,
• 27:22
Speaker 1: and is set forth the terms for which Mr. Edwards
• 27:25
Speaker 1: was going to represent you, right? Answer, right. Question, did
• 27:30
Speaker 1: you sign one of those on the CVRA case also? Answer,
• 27:34
Speaker 1: I don't believe so, no. Question. Okay. Are you funding
• 27:38
Speaker 1: the CVRA case in any way? Answer. No. Question. Okay.
• 27:43
Speaker 1: Can I see the document, please? How old were you
• 27:45
Speaker 1: when you first met Mr. Epstein? Answer. I was 14. Question.
• 27:49
Speaker 1: Do you remember telling the FBI that you were close
• 27:52
Speaker 1: to 16 when you met Mr. Epstein? Answer. I don't
• 27:55
Speaker 1: remember saying that. Question. Would it refresh your memory to
• 27:58
Speaker 1: look at the exhibit that Mr. Skrola has marked as
• 28:01
Speaker 1: Exhibit 1? And let me direct you to the second
• 28:03
Speaker 1: full paragraph. Skrola. May I see it first, please? And
• 28:08
Speaker 1: your question is, does this paragraph refresh Ms. Wilde's recollection
• 28:13
Speaker 1: that she told the FBI that she was 16? Goldberger,
• 28:16
Speaker 1: very good, correct. Scarola, do you want to read that
• 28:18
Speaker 1: paragraph again? Goldberger, sure. Scarola, whether that's the question that
• 28:23
Speaker 1: you want to ask, since it doesn't say anything like that.
• 28:26
Speaker 1: In fact, it says she was 15. Mr. Goldberger, who
• 28:30
Speaker 1: was close to turning 16, did you tell the FBI? Scarola, well...
• 28:35
Speaker 1: Is there a difference between being 15 and 16? Goldberger,
• 28:38
Speaker 1: not really, not in my mind. Scarola, okay. Goldberger, okay. Scarola,
• 28:43
Speaker 1: and not Mr. Epstein's either, I guess. Goldberger, okay, move
• 28:48
Speaker 1: to strike. Question, did you tell the FBI that you
• 28:52
Speaker 1: were close to 16 when you first met Mr. Epstein? Answer,
• 28:56
  Speaker 1: I can't really remember me ever saying I was 16
• 28:58
Speaker 1: years old. Question, okay, do you remember telling Mr. Epstein
• 29:01
Speaker 1: when you first met him that you were 18? Answer, no. question, okay,
• 29:06
Speaker 1: would it refresh your memory to look at the memorandum
• 29:09
Speaker 1: of interview concerning the interview you did with the FBI
• 29:12
Speaker 1: in August of 2007? And what you told the agent
• 29:16
Speaker 1: about what you told Mr. Epstein is your age? Scarola,
• 29:19
Speaker 1: excuse me, I'm going to object to the form of
• 29:21
Speaker 1: the question. It assumes that the redactions in that document,
• 29:25
Speaker 1: which obviously relate to multiple individuals, identify Ms. Wilde as
• 29:29
Speaker 1: a particular speaker. Goldberger, okay, having said that, Would you
• 29:33
Speaker 1: look at that and see if it refreshes your recollection
• 29:36
Speaker 1: as to whether you told Mr. Epstein when you first
• 29:39
Speaker 1: met him that you were 16 years old? Scarola, the
• 29:42
Speaker 1: same second paragraph. Goldberger, same second paragraph. Thank you. The
• 29:46
Speaker 1: last line of the second paragraph. Scarola, the last line. Goldberger, uh-huh. Courtney, no,
• 29:54
Speaker 1: I don't remember saying that. Mr. Goldberger, Okay, did you
• 29:57
Speaker 1: in fact tell Mr. Epstein that you were 18 when
• 30:00
Speaker 1: you first met him? Answer, no. Question, did you tell
• 30:03
Speaker 1: him how old you were? Answer, I don't believe I
• 30:05
Speaker 1: ever told him how old I was, no. Goldberger, okay,
• 30:09
Speaker 1: here you go. I'm going to go into some additional
• 30:12
Speaker 1: questions about the CVRA. I recognize that you're going to
• 30:15
Speaker 1: instruct the witness not to answer the questions. And so
• 30:19
Speaker 1: we have some ground rules for this. Is the time
• 30:21
Speaker 1: the objections that it's irrelevant and she does not have
• 30:24
Speaker 1: the ability to consult with her lawyer. Or, do you
• 30:27
Speaker 1: want me to ask the questions first? Scarola, no, that's
• 30:30
Speaker 1: not an accurate statement. Goldberger, well, give me your accurate
• 30:34
Speaker 1: assessment then. Scarola, yeah, the questions are irrelevant, immaterial, not
• 30:39
Speaker 1: reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of relevant and
• 30:43
Speaker 1: material information. Goldberger, okay. Scarola, in addition to that, the
• 30:48
Speaker 1: witness was not noticed as being deposed in a separate
• 30:51
Speaker 1: CVRA action. Her counsel with regard to the separate CVRA
• 30:55
Speaker 1: action were not noticed. Therefore, her counsel have not had
• 31:00
Speaker 1: the opportunity to consult with her regarding giving testimony in
• 31:03
Speaker 1: the separate CVRA action. So those are the objections that
• 31:08
Speaker 1: were previously raised. In addition to others stated as to
• 31:11
Speaker 1: the specific questions, they are the objections that I will
• 31:15
Speaker 1: incorporate simply by saying same objection, same instruction for purposes
• 31:19
Speaker 1: of not burdening the record with repetition of the same
• 31:22
Speaker 1: objection and same instruction. Mr. Goldberger, Have you now stated
• 31:28
Speaker 1: all of the objections you want to state concerning any
• 31:30
Speaker 1: objections or questions I'm going to have concerning the CVRA
• 31:34
Speaker 1: subject to a specific question? Scarola, I've stated all of
• 31:38
Speaker 1: the objections that I wish to incorporate in abbreviated objections
• 31:42
Speaker 1: and instruction. Goldberger, okay. What were your goals as a
• 31:45
Speaker 1: plaintiff in filing the CVRA case? Scarola, objection. Goldberger, okay.
• 31:51
Speaker 1: Was one of your goals to invalidate the non-prosecution agreement? Scarola, objection. Edwards,
• 31:56
Speaker 1: can we just take one second? Goldberger, yeah, you want
• 32:00
Speaker 1: to talk to her? That's fine. They paused. Now they're
• 32:02
Speaker 1: back and Goldberger is asking questions again. Goldberger, are you good? Scarola, yeah. Goldberger, okay.
• 32:10
Speaker 1: Have you ever discussed with Tata Miller the filing of
• 32:13
Speaker 1: the CVRA? Scarola, same objection. Goldberger, have you ever discussed
• 32:18
Speaker 1: with any non-lawyer or someone working for a lawyer the
• 32:21
Speaker 1: reasons for filing the CVRA case? Scarola, objection. Goldberger, do
• 32:26
Speaker 1: you realize that if you prevail on the CVRA case
• 32:30
Speaker 1: and the non-prosecution agreement is ruled void, any civil settlement
• 32:33
Speaker 1: that relied on the Civil Victims Rights Act case could
• 32:36
Speaker 1: be vacated? Scarola, same objection, same instruction, also calls for
• 32:42
Speaker 1: a legal conclusion. Goldberger, okay. Scarola, based upon an improper hypothesis. Goldberger,
• 32:49
Speaker 1: are you seeking an apology from the government for the
• 32:52
Speaker 1: filing of the CVRA? Scarola, same objection, same instruction. Goldberger,
• 32:58
Speaker 1: is that important to you, ma'am? Scarola, objection. Goldberger, are
• 33:03
Speaker 1: you attempting to punish Jeffrey Epstein by causing the loss
• 33:06
Speaker 1: of the non-prosecution agreement? Goldberger, same objection. Courtney Wild, what
• 33:11
Speaker 1: was the question? Goldberger, are you attempting to punish Jeffrey
• 33:14
Speaker 1: Epstein by causing the non-prosecution agreement to be set aside? Answer,
• 33:19
Speaker 1: I just feel like justice should be served and he
• 33:22
Speaker 1: should be put in jail for the crimes that he committed. Question, okay,
• 33:25
Speaker 1: do you blame him for being in jail right now, ma'am? Answer, no,
• 33:29
Speaker 1: I've made my own choices. But I do believe that
• 33:32
Speaker 1: a lot of the trauma that I have is due
• 33:34
Speaker 1: to what happened to me when I was a young
• 33:35
Speaker 1: girl because of Jeffrey. Question, I want to talk to
• 33:39
Speaker 1: you a little bit about Tata Miller. When did you
• 33:41
Speaker 1: first meet her? Answer, when I was like 13 or
• 33:44
Speaker 1: 14 years old. Question, and was Tata Miller younger or
• 33:47
Speaker 1: older than you? Answer, younger. Question, how much younger? Answer,
• 33:52
Speaker 1: she's like a year younger than me. Question, okay, when
• 33:55
Speaker 1: did you meet her though? Answer, I met her through
• 33:57
Speaker 1: a friend. Question, did you meet her at a party perhaps? Answer,
• 34:01
  Speaker 1: I can't remember exactly. I know I met her through
• 34:03
Speaker 1: a friend though. Question, uh-huh, okay, what friend was that? Answer,
• 34:07
Speaker 1: I think a boy that I was dating named Jesse. Answer,
• 34:11
Speaker 1: but we were just friends at first, but I think
• 34:14
  Speaker 1: that's how. Maybe, I can't remember. I can't remember. Question,
• 34:18
Speaker 1: do you know a boy named Bobby? Answer, uh-huh, question, okay.
• 34:23
Speaker 1: Do you know where that party was? Answer, no, I
• 34:25
Speaker 1: wouldn't remember. Question, okay. Would you consider Tatum Miller to
• 34:29
Speaker 1: be your good friend when you first met her? Answer, yeah. Question, okay.
• 34:34
Speaker 1: And does she continue to be your good friend? Answer,
• 34:36
Speaker 1: we're still friends. Question, okay. Answer, I haven't talked to
• 34:40
Speaker 1: her in a while though. Answer, okay. Was there a
• 34:43
Speaker 1: time where you lived actually Tatum Miller's father let you
• 34:46
Speaker 1: live at his house? Answer, yes. Question, okay. When was that? Answer,
• 34:51
Speaker 1: when I was 14, 15 for two years. Answer, okay,
• 34:55
Speaker 1: did you ever have sex with Tata Miller? Answer, no,
• 34:58
  Speaker 1: not when I was a young girl. I don't think
• 35:00
Speaker 1: that we did. Question, okay, did you ever have oral
• 35:03
Speaker 1: sex with Tata Miller prior to being 18? Answer, yes. Question, okay,
• 35:08
Speaker 1: when did that take place? Answer, I can't remember. Question,
• 35:13
Speaker 1: was it at a party or was it in private? Answer,
• 35:16
Speaker 1: I can't remember. Question, okay, but do you remember having
• 35:19
Speaker 1: oral sex with her? Answer. I know that we have. Yes.
• 35:23
Speaker 1: Do you know how many times that you've had oral
• 35:24
Speaker 1: sex with Tata Miller? Answer. No. Question. Okay. Is Tata
• 35:29
Speaker 1: Miller the one who recruited you to go to Jeffrey
• 35:31
Speaker 1: Epstein's home? Answer. Yes. Question. Okay. Did you go to Mr.
• 35:35
Speaker 1: Epstein's house together the first time? Answer. Yeah. Question. Okay.
• 35:40
Speaker 1: At other times that you may have been at Mr.
• 35:42
Speaker 1: Epstein's house, did you see Tata Miller there? Answer. If
• 35:46
Speaker 1: I didn't go with her, sometimes I'd go by myself.
• 35:49
Speaker 1: Sometimes I'd bring girls. I never went there and Tatum
• 35:52
Speaker 1: was there. Question. Okay. Did you ever talk to her
• 35:54
Speaker 1: about Mr. Epstein? Answer. Yes. Question. Okay. What discussions did
• 35:59
Speaker 1: you have concerning Mr. Epstein? Answer. I can't remember the
• 36:03
Speaker 1: discussions now. What we talked about. Question. Do you know
• 36:06
Speaker 1: if Ms. Miller had ever claimed whether Mr. Epstein was
• 36:09
Speaker 1: physically violent to her? Answer. I don't believe she's ever
• 36:13
Speaker 1: said that to me. Question. Okay. Did Ms. Miller tell
• 36:16
Speaker 1: you in going to Goldberger? You can go ahead. Edwards.
• 36:20
Speaker 1: I feel like that canteen would be useful right now.
• 36:24
Speaker 1: The witness, yeah. Goldberger, go off the record for a second.
• 36:27
Speaker 1: They go off, then they're back. Back on, I saw
• 36:30
Speaker 1: it coming. Question, did Miss Miller tell you that in
• 36:34
Speaker 1: going to Mr. Epstein's house, your choice to get naked
• 36:37
Speaker 1: was in fact a choice that you could make? Answer, yeah.
• 36:41
Speaker 1: She said that he would be like if I took
• 36:42
Speaker 1: off all my clothes, but I didn't have to. I
• 36:45
Speaker 1: could keep my panties on if I wanted to. Question, okay,
• 36:48
Speaker 1: did Miss Miller tell you to lie about... Your age
• 36:51
Speaker 1: when going to Mr. Epstein's house? No. Question. Now, did
• 36:55
Speaker 1: Miss Miller tell you that as part of the massage, Mr.
• 36:58
Speaker 1: Epstein would ejaculate into his own hand? Answer. Yeah, she
• 37:01
Speaker 1: did tell me that. Question. Uh-huh. And did she tell
• 37:05
Speaker 1: you that prior to your going there? Answer. She really didn't.
• 37:09
Speaker 1: I can't remember if she said that to me or not.
• 37:12
Speaker 1: For some reason, I want to say she didn't. But
• 37:14
Speaker 1: it's been so long, I don't know. Question. So your
• 37:17
Speaker 1: recollection is at some point, Miss Miller told you... that Mr.
• 37:20
Speaker 1: Epstein would ejaculate into his hand. Yes, I think so. Question,
• 37:24
Speaker 1: but you don't remember when she told you this? Answer, right. Question, okay.
• 37:30
Speaker 1: Had he ever ejaculated into his hand while you were
• 37:33
Speaker 1: massaging him prior to Ms. Miller telling you that? He
• 37:36
Speaker 1: being Mr. Epstein, I'm sorry. Answer, I mean the first
• 37:39
Speaker 1: time I went, ever met him, that's what he did.
• 37:42
Speaker 1: He ejaculated into his own hand. After the first time,
• 37:46
Speaker 1: we didn't really have to talk about it, because that's
• 37:49
Speaker 1: something that did happen. Question, so you have a recollection
• 37:53
Speaker 1: of Ms. Miller having told you that Mr. Epstein would
• 37:55
Speaker 1: ejaculate into his hand during a massage? Answer, I can't
• 37:59
Speaker 1: remember if she told me or not. Question, okay. Courtney,
• 38:06
Speaker 1: do y'all want to take a break? Mr. Scarola, sure,
• 38:08
Speaker 1: if you'd like to. Courtney, yeah. Scarola, yes. All right, folks,
• 38:13
Speaker 1: so we're going to take a break as well. And
• 38:15
Speaker 1: in the next episode dealing with the topic, we're going
• 38:17
Speaker 1: to pick up where we left off. All of the
• 38:20
Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found in
• 38:23
Speaker 1: the description box. What's up, everyone? And welcome to another
• 38:26
Speaker 1: episode of the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going
• 38:30
Speaker 1: to pick up where we left off with the Courtney
• 38:33
Speaker 1: Wilde deposition. Question, all right, so you testified, I believe,
• 38:37
Speaker 1: and correct me if I'm wrong, that you had some
• 38:39
Speaker 1: sort of discussion with Tata Miller about Jeffrey Epstein ejaculating
• 38:43
Speaker 1: into his hand while getting a massage, correct? Answer, right. Question,
• 38:49
Speaker 1: and you don't recall when you were told that would occur? Answer, right. Question, okay,
• 38:55
Speaker 1: but did you also testify that the first time you
• 38:57
Speaker 1: gave a massage to Mr. Epstein, he ejaculated into his hand? Answer, yes. Question,
• 39:03
Speaker 1: so being advised that that might happen occurred prior to
• 39:06
Speaker 1: your first visit with Mr. Epstein? Answer, I can't remember.
• 39:10
Speaker 1: I mean, I guess so. Question, okay. Do you know
• 39:13
Speaker 1: whether Tatum Miller works as a prostitute? Answer, I don't know.
• 39:16
Speaker 1: I haven't talked to her in a couple years. Question, okay.
• 39:20
Speaker 1: Do you know whether she was working as a prostitute
• 39:22
Speaker 1: after she last saw Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, I don't know. Question, okay.
• 39:27
Speaker 1: Did you go with Tatum to New York on a
• 39:29
Speaker 1: trip paid by some men? Answer, yes. Question, okay. And
• 39:33
Speaker 1: during that trip that you went to New York with
• 39:36
Speaker 1: some men, did Tatum leave to go on some prostitution dates? Answer,
• 39:41
Speaker 1: I'm not sure where she went when she left. Question,
• 39:44
Speaker 1: but she left? Answer, yeah. Question, okay. Did you ever
• 39:47
Speaker 1: visit Tatum at Fantasies where she worked? Answer, I can't.
• 39:52
Speaker 1: I don't think so. Question, okay, do you know what
• 39:55
Speaker 1: Fantasies is? Answer, uh-huh. Question, okay. Answer, well, I know
• 39:59
Speaker 1: that she worked at some place like that, but I
• 40:01
Speaker 1: can't remember the name of it. Question, what do you
• 40:04
Speaker 1: mean by that? What do you mean by some place
• 40:06
Speaker 1: like that? What is that? Answer, like a prostitution house
• 40:10
Speaker 1: or whatever. I don't know what you'd call it. Question, okay,
• 40:13
Speaker 1: did she ever use the term jack shack? Answer, yeah. Question,
• 40:18
Speaker 1: what's a jack shack? Answer, like a prostitution house. Question, okay,
• 40:23
Speaker 1: and you knew that Tatum worked at a Jack Shack? Answer, yeah. Question, okay,
• 40:28
Speaker 1: did you ever see any website offering Tatum Miller services? Answer, no,
• 40:33
Speaker 1: I don't think so. Question, was your mother a drug addict?
• 40:37
Speaker 1: Is your mother a drug addict also? Answer, she's been
• 40:40
Speaker 1: clean for six years, but when I was young, she
• 40:43
Speaker 1: was addicted to drugs. Question, okay, and she was addicted
• 40:46
Speaker 1: to drugs prior... To your meeting, Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, yes. Mr. Goldberger,
• 40:53
Speaker 1: how many people did you take to Jeffrey Epstein's home
• 40:55
Speaker 1: to work as a massage, to give massages to Mr. Epstein? Answer,
• 41:00
Speaker 1: like 20 or 30 girls. Question, okay. And did you
• 41:03
Speaker 1: receive money for bringing people to Mr. Epstein's home? Answer, yes. Question,
• 41:09
Speaker 1: do you know who Dee Dee is? Uh-huh. Question, okay.
• 41:13
Speaker 1: Did you keep a list or a journal of people
• 41:15
Speaker 1: that you took to Mr. Epstein's home? Answer, no. Question, no,
• 41:21
Speaker 1: you didn't do that. No, you did not. Answer, I
• 41:24
Speaker 1: did not. Question, did you take some women who were age,
• 41:27
Speaker 1: meaning over the age of 18, to Mr. Epstein's home
• 41:30
Speaker 1: for massages? Answer, no, I always took people that were underage. Question, okay,
• 41:37
Speaker 1: do you ever remember answering that question differently, whether you
• 41:40
Speaker 1: brought girls who were over the age of 18 to Mr.
• 41:43
Speaker 1: Epstein's home? Answer, actually, now that I think about it,
• 41:46
Speaker 1: There was this girl named Amy that was overage that
• 41:49
Speaker 1: went to him, but I don't remember bringing anybody else
• 41:52
Speaker 1: besides her. Question, do you remember giving a deposition on
• 41:55
Speaker 1: May 6, 2010 in this case or in the related case? Answer, yeah. Question,
• 42:01
Speaker 1: and you were sworn to tell the truth in that deposition. Answer, right. Question,
• 42:06
Speaker 1: and were you telling the truth? Answer, yes. Question, and
• 42:09
Speaker 1: did you have your lawyer Brad Edwards there with you
• 42:11
Speaker 1: during that deposition? Answer, yes. Question, do you remember giving
• 42:15
Speaker 1: an answer to this question? Well, you know, you took
• 42:18
Speaker 1: MD because she was 23. Page 131. Well, you know,
• 42:22
Speaker 1: Scarola interjects. May we have a copy of that deposition? Goldberger. Yeah.
• 42:27
Speaker 1: Do you have an extra copy? Page 131. Brewer. I do.
• 42:31
Speaker 1: Page 131. Scarola. Okay. Thank you. Back to Goldberger asking questions. Okay. Well,
• 42:38
Speaker 1: you took, do you remember being asked this question? Well,
• 42:41
Speaker 1: you know you took MD because she was 23. Your answer?
• 42:44
Speaker 1: I probably took about three girls of age. Your question?
• 42:47
Speaker 1: You mean that they were 18 or over? And your answer? Correct. Okay,
• 42:52
Speaker 1: so does that or do you remember having? He's cut
• 42:55
Speaker 1: off by Courtney. Answer? Yeah, I know I took the
• 42:59
Speaker 1: one girl. Amy, but there's possibly a couple more. I
• 43:03
Speaker 1: know that everybody else that I took was underage. Question? Right.
• 43:07
Speaker 1: And then you went on to say that you took
• 43:09
Speaker 1: 20 to 30 girls, allegedly, who are under 18, to Mr.
• 43:12
Speaker 1: Epstein's house. Scarola, no, she did not say allegedly. The
• 43:16
Speaker 1: question is, how many girls do you believe that you
• 43:19
Speaker 1: took under 18? Answer, at least, at least 20 or 30. Goldberger, question.
• 43:25
Speaker 1: And every one of those girls that you took to Mr.
• 43:26
Speaker 1: Epstein's home, whether they were of age or underage, you
• 43:30
Speaker 1: received money for bringing them there. Did you not? Answer, yes. Question. Okay.
• 43:35
Speaker 1: Did you ever break into Mr. Epstein's home to burglarize
• 43:38
Speaker 1: his home? Answer. No, I did go there one time
• 43:41
Speaker 1: and I didn't ever burglarize his home though. Question. Well,
• 43:44
Speaker 1: did you enter his home without his permission? Answer. Yes.
• 43:48
Speaker 1: So I guess that would be burglarizing it. I guess
• 43:50
Speaker 1: you could say. Question. Okay. Answer. Yes, I did that
• 43:54
Speaker 1: one time. Question. What did you do? Answer. I went
• 43:57
Speaker 1: there without his permission. Question. And you entered his home? Answer. Yes. Question. Okay,
• 44:03
Speaker 1: did you have someone with you when you did that? Answer, yeah,
• 44:06
Speaker 1: I had somebody who drove me there. Question, who was that? Answer,
• 44:10
Speaker 1: I can't remember who it was now. Question, did Mr.
• 44:13
Speaker 1: Epstein ever call you on the telephone? Answer, yes. Question, okay,
• 44:17
Speaker 1: was there ever any discussion of sexual conduct during the
• 44:20
Speaker 1: phone calls? Answer, what do you mean by that? Question, yeah,
• 44:24
Speaker 1: did you talk about sex when he called you? Answer, no,
• 44:28
Speaker 1: he just always asked me if I had anybody to
• 44:30
Speaker 1: bring him. Question, okay, did you ever call Mr. Epstein's
• 44:33
Speaker 1: home and speak to either Mr. Epstein or someone who
• 44:36
Speaker 1: worked for Mr. Epstein and ask for permission to come
• 44:38
Speaker 1: over and give a massage? Answer, yes. Question, okay, how
• 44:42
Speaker 1: many times did you do that? Answer, I can't remember
• 44:45
Speaker 1: how many times. Question, did you ever ask to introduce
• 44:48
Speaker 1: another girl to Mr. Epstein? Answer, yeah. He would ask
• 44:52
Speaker 1: me if I met a girl that wanted to come
• 44:54
Speaker 1: to him to call and let them know. His secretary
• 44:57
Speaker 1: or him or whoever answered the phone Normally, it was
• 45:00
Speaker 1: his secretary if I called. Question. Any calls you made
• 45:04
Speaker 1: then would be calls to set up appointments, right? Answer. Right. Question.
• 45:09
Speaker 1: No discussion about sex. Answer. Right. Question. During any of
• 45:12
Speaker 1: those phone calls, did Mr. Epstein say anything that he
• 45:15
Speaker 1: was attempting to persuade or induce you or entice you
• 45:19
Speaker 1: to engage in sex? Answer. No. Question. Okay. Did you
• 45:23
Speaker 1: ever negotiate over the phone prices or anything like that? Answer. No. Question.
• 45:29
Speaker 1: Did you ever email with Mr. Epstein in any way? Answer, no. Question.
• 45:34
Speaker 1: Did you ever have any kind of internet conversation with Mr. Epstein? Answer, no. Question.
• 45:40
Speaker 1: Did you ever have any text conversation with Mr. Epstein? Answer, no. Question.
• 45:45
Speaker 1: Did Mr. Epstein ever have any email or internet conversations
• 45:48
Speaker 1: with you about bringing another person to his home? Answer, no. Question.
• 45:53
Speaker 1: To give a massage I'm talking about? Answer, right. Question.
• 45:57
Speaker 1: Did anyone either employed by Mr. Epstein or associated with Mr.
• 46:01
Speaker 1: Epstein ever email you? Answer, no. Question, did you ever
• 46:05
Speaker 1: travel with Mr. Epstein? Answer, no. Question, did Mr. Epstein
• 46:10
Speaker 1: use his own name when he spoke to you? Answer, yeah, Jeffrey. Question,
• 46:16
Speaker 1: didn't use a name like Taylor or anything like that?
• 46:19
Speaker 1: You knew you were going to his house to make money,
• 46:21
Speaker 1: is that correct? Answer, yes. Question, and you were acting
• 46:25
Speaker 1: as a prostitute when you went there? Answer, yes. question. Okay,
• 46:29
Speaker 1: no one forced you to go. It was your choice
• 46:30
Speaker 1: to go, correct? Yo, I have to interject. She was
• 46:33
Speaker 1: 14 when she was going there. She can't be a prostitute.
• 46:36
Speaker 1: And this is the whole entire basis for the cover story.
• 46:40
Speaker 1: That's why he gave the money. That's why when the
• 46:42
Speaker 1: girls brought other girls, he paid them so that later
• 46:44
Speaker 1: on down the road, if he got nailed, he can
• 46:46
Speaker 1: use it as an excuse. Oh, it was, they were
• 46:48
Speaker 1: all part of it too. And that's why this story
• 46:51
Speaker 1: is what it is. Because the legacy media and people
• 46:55
Speaker 1: that were covering it at the time covered it as prostitution.
• 46:59
Speaker 1: When in fact, it's not prostitution, it's child abuse. Question,
• 47:05
Speaker 1: you had a choice to say no if you wanted
• 47:07
Speaker 1: to say no. Answer, yes. Question, was there ever any
• 47:10
Speaker 1: physical force that was used by anyone at Mr. Epstein's
• 47:13
Speaker 1: home to coerce you or force you to engage in
• 47:17
Speaker 1: any act? Answer, no. Question, did Mr. Epstein ever threaten
• 47:20
Speaker 1: to use physical force against you? Answer, no. Question, did Mr.
• 47:25
Speaker 1: Epstein ever use physical violence against you? Answer, no. Question,
• 47:30
Speaker 1: did Mr. Epstein ever raise his voice to you? Answer,
• 47:34
Speaker 1: never like face to face. A couple of times. There
• 47:38
Speaker 1: was times I was supposed to bring a girl and
• 47:40
Speaker 1: the girl canceled or the girl ended up not wanting
• 47:43
Speaker 1: to come or something like that. So there were a
• 47:45
Speaker 1: couple of times on the phone where he yelled at me,
• 47:47
Speaker 1: like just frustrated about me not bringing the girl. Question. Okay.
• 47:51
Speaker 1: Other than that, any other yelling? Answer. No. Question. When
• 47:56
Speaker 1: you were brought there first, you were brought there the
• 47:59
Speaker 1: first time by Tatum, correct? Answer. Uh-huh. Question. Tatum. Tatum
• 48:03
Speaker 1: Miller told you that it was your choice whether to
• 48:05
Speaker 1: take off your clothes or not. Answer. Yeah. She said
• 48:08
Speaker 1: that he wanted to take off my clothes, but I
• 48:11
Speaker 1: didn't have to get completely naked. I could keep my
• 48:14
Speaker 1: panties on if I wanted to. Question, okay. If my
• 48:17
Speaker 1: math is correct, and correct me if I'm wrong, Mr.
• 48:20
Speaker 1: Edwards has represented you for 10 years now. Is that correct? Answer, yes. Question, okay.
• 48:27
Speaker 1: Is there any time the last 10 years that Mr.
• 48:29
Speaker 1: Edwards has not represented you? Answer, no. Question, okay. Did
• 48:33
Speaker 1: you fire him at any time? Answer, no. Question, okay.
• 48:37
Speaker 1: Did you ever get... Did he ever get you a
• 48:39
Speaker 1: lawyer on this criminal case that has you in prison
• 48:42
Speaker 1: right now? Answer, no. Did he ever get you a
• 48:45
Speaker 1: lawyer at any other time? Answer, no. Question, okay, you
• 48:49
Speaker 1: knew at some point that he, Mr. Edwards, went to
• 48:53
Speaker 1: work for Rothstein Adler firm. Answer, yes. Question, okay. When
• 48:57
Speaker 1: did you learn that, ma'am? Answer, one time I went
• 49:00
Speaker 1: to the law firm to meet him. I can't even
• 49:02
Speaker 1: remember what it was for, and I know that he
• 49:05
Speaker 1: just moved different law firms, but question, okay. And I'm
• 49:08
Speaker 1: talking about the law firm Rothstein, Rosenfeld and Adler, right? Answer. Yeah. Question.
• 49:14
Speaker 1: We're talking about the same firm. Answer. Right. Question. And
• 49:18
Speaker 1: you went to that law firm to meet Mr. Edwards
• 49:20
Speaker 1: answer yeah question okay and you know you don't know
• 49:23
Speaker 1: when that was answer no question okay who did you
• 49:26
Speaker 1: meet with when you went to the law firm answer
• 49:29
Speaker 1: I just met Brad question Brad Edwards answer Brad Edwards
• 49:33
Speaker 1: question did you meet any of the other people that
• 49:35
Speaker 1: worked there answer no I can't remember meeting anybody else Question,
• 49:39
Speaker 1: did you meet any investigator? No. Question, Mr. Fiston? Answer, no. Question,
• 49:45
Speaker 1: did you meet Ken Jens, who had formerly been the
• 49:48
Speaker 1: sheriff of Broward County? Answer, no. Question, did you meet
• 49:52
Speaker 1: any other lawyer at the Edwards, at the Rothstein office? Answer, no. Question,
• 49:57
Speaker 1: did you meet any of Mr. Edwards' support staff? Answer, no. Question,
• 50:01
Speaker 1: so you went there, and you walked in the door,
• 50:04
Speaker 1: and you just met Mr. Edwards, and you didn't meet
• 50:06
Speaker 1: anybody else? Question, I mean, if I walked past other
• 50:09
Speaker 1: people there, they could have been working there, that's a possibility,
• 50:13
  Speaker 1: but I wasn't introduced to anybody or didn't have a
• 50:15
Speaker 1: conversation with anybody else. Question, okay, how long were you
• 50:20
Speaker 1: there when you went there? Answer, I can't remember how
• 50:22
Speaker 1: long I was there, maybe an hour. Question, okay, did
• 50:25
Speaker 1: you learn at some point that Mr. Epstein, I'm sorry,
• 50:28
Speaker 1: that Mr. Edwards was sued by Mr. Epstein as being
• 50:31
Speaker 1: part of the Rothstein firm? Scorola, excuse me, Goldberger, without, Scorola, excuse,
• 50:38
Speaker 1: If any knowledge you have, Goldberger, yeah, Scarola continues, with
• 50:42
Speaker 1: regard to the lawsuit by Mr. Epstein against Brad Edwards
• 50:45
Speaker 1: is information that Brad Edwards communicated to you during the
• 50:49
Speaker 1: course of your attorney-client relationship with Brad. You should not
• 50:52
Speaker 1: respond to that question. If you know anything at all
• 50:55
Speaker 1: about that lawsuit from the source other than communication with Brad,
• 50:59
Speaker 1: then by all means, you are entitled to and obliged
• 51:02
Speaker 1: to answer that question. The witness, okay, Goldberger, that's correct,
• 51:06
Speaker 1: that's correct. Courtney, yeah, so I don't want to answer it,
• 51:10
Speaker 1: I guess. Question, all right. So what you're saying is
• 51:14
Speaker 1: that anything you learned, you would have learned from Mr.
• 51:16
Speaker 1: Edwards and you didn't learn from anybody else? Answer, right. Okay, folks,
• 51:21
Speaker 1: we're going to wrap up right here. And in the
• 51:22
Speaker 1: next episode, dealing with the topic, we're going to pick
• 51:24
Speaker 1: up where we left off. All of the information that
• 51:27
Speaker 1: goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
• 51:31
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone? And welcome to another episode of the
• 51:34
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to pick up
• 51:37
Speaker 1: where we left off With a Courtney Wilde deposition. Question. Okay.
• 51:41
Speaker 1: Did you read anything about the Rothstein Ponzi scheme? Answer. Yeah.
• 51:45
Speaker 1: I think I seen it on the news when it
• 51:47
Speaker 1: first happened when I was in West Palm Beach. Question. Okay.
• 51:51
Speaker 1: And when you saw it on the news, did you
• 51:53
Speaker 1: realize that Mr. Edwards was working for that law firm? Answer. Yeah.
• 51:57
Speaker 1: I think I actually called him. Question. Don't tell me
• 52:00
Speaker 1: what he told you. Answer. Okay. Question. Did you discuss
• 52:04
Speaker 1: it that with anybody else? Answer. No. Question. Okay. Did
• 52:08
Speaker 1: it cause you to doubt his professional competence in any way? Answer, no. Question, okay,
• 52:14
Speaker 1: did you talk to Tata Miller or Shauna Rivera about
• 52:17
Speaker 1: the Rothstein Ponzi scheme? Answer, I can't remember. Question, okay,
• 52:21
Speaker 1: do you know whether either one of those two women
• 52:24
Speaker 1: terminated their relationship with Mr. Edwards as a result of
• 52:28
Speaker 1: the Rothstein Ponzi scheme? Answer, I don't think so. Question,
• 52:32
Speaker 1: while your estate case was pending in state court, Were
• 52:35
Speaker 1: you seeking damages for Mr. Epstein? Did you know that Mr.
• 52:38
Speaker 1: Edwards also had asked to prepare a federal lawsuit? I'm
• 52:42
Speaker 1: not talking about the CVRI case, but a separate federal
• 52:45
Speaker 1: lawsuit seeking damages for you against Mr. Epstein? Edwards object
• 52:50
Speaker 1: as the attorney client privilege to the extent that she
• 52:53
Speaker 1: knows that information only from conversations that she had with me. Goldberger, sure. Question,
• 52:59
Speaker 1: so other than conversations you had with Edwards, or one
• 53:02
Speaker 1: of the other lawyers working at Rothstein Adler Firm, did
• 53:05
Speaker 1: you know that Mr. Edwards had asked to be prepared
• 53:08
Speaker 1: a federal lawsuit that was the same lawsuit that was
• 53:11
Speaker 1: pending against Mr. Epstein in the state court? Essentially the
• 53:15
Speaker 1: same claim? Answer, no. Question, okay. Do you know that
• 53:19
Speaker 1: he had asked his support staff to file or to
• 53:21
Speaker 1: prepare the same lawsuit in federal court that had been
• 53:24
Speaker 1: prepared on behalf of Tata Miller? Scarola, same instruction. That is,
• 53:29
Speaker 1: you should not answer that question. if the source of
• 53:31
Speaker 1: any information, if any, was Brad Edwards. If you obtain
• 53:35
Speaker 1: that information from some other source and you have that
• 53:38
Speaker 1: information in response to the question, you can answer it. Witness, okay,
• 53:44
Speaker 1: so I guess I shouldn't answer it then. Goldberger, okay,
• 53:46
Speaker 1: that's fine. Has anyone shared any emails with you concerning
• 53:50
Speaker 1: instruction being given to the file or to prepare a
• 53:53
Speaker 1: federal lawsuit for filing? Answer, no. Question, and I'm asking
• 53:58
Speaker 1: you specifically the time period just before the Rothstein form
• 54:01
Speaker 1: fell apart and Mr. Rothstein was indicted? Answer, no. Goldberger, okay,
• 54:06
Speaker 1: can we just have a moment? Off the record for
• 54:08
Speaker 1: a second. Back on. Question, I was asking you about
• 54:13
Speaker 1: whether you knew anything about this federal lawsuit that may
• 54:16
Speaker 1: or may not been prepared. Did you ever see a
• 54:19
Speaker 1: federal lawsuit other than the CVRA case? I'm not talking
• 54:22
Speaker 1: about that. Answer, no. Question, okay, did you ever authorize
• 54:26
Speaker 1: the preparation? of a separate federal lawsuit seeking damages from Mr.
• 54:31
Speaker 1: Epstein in addition to the state court case? Edwards, I object.
• 54:35
Speaker 1: Attorney-client privilege. Goldberger, let me just finish the question. Let
• 54:40
Speaker 1: me finish the question, okay? Edwards, you're talking about authorized
• 54:44
Speaker 1: to me. This is, he gets cut off by Goldberger. Yeah,
• 54:48
Speaker 1: let me just finish the question, Edwards. Communication with attorney. Again,
• 54:53
Speaker 1: cut off by Goldberger. Let me just finish the question.
• 54:55
Speaker 1: Then I get it, okay? Edwards, okay. Goldberger, did you
• 54:59
Speaker 1: ever authorize the filing of a federal lawsuit seeking damages
• 55:02
Speaker 1: against Mr. Epstein that was similar or the same as
• 55:05
Speaker 1: a state case that Mr. Edwards had filed on your
• 55:08
Speaker 1: behalf for damages against Mr. Epstein? Edwards, okay. And before
• 55:13
Speaker 1: you would answer, if this is communication between me and you,
• 55:16
Speaker 1: Whether you to me or me to you related to
• 55:19
Speaker 1: a legal decision that we were making at the time
• 55:22
Speaker 1: that I'm instructing you not to answer because that could
• 55:25
Speaker 1: be invasion of the attorney-client privilege. Goldberger, okay, so with
• 55:29
Speaker 1: that instruction from your lawyer, do you want to answer
• 55:31
Speaker 1: the question or not? Courtney Wilde, no. Goldberger, okay, that's
• 55:37
Speaker 1: all the questions I have. Now moving on to cross-examination. Mr. Scarola, Ms. Wilde,
• 55:42
Speaker 1: did you sue Jeffrey Epstein for having repeatedly sexually molested
• 55:46
Speaker 1: you Because you actually were repeatedly sexually molested by Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, yes. Mr. Goldberger,
• 55:53
Speaker 1: object to the form. Scarola, was there any other reason
• 55:56
Speaker 1: than the fact that Jeffrey Epstein had repeatedly select, excuse me,
• 56:00
Speaker 1: repeatedly sexually molested you that you were suing Mr. Epstein? Goldberger,
• 56:05
Speaker 1: object to the form. Answer, no. Scarola, Whether it was
• 56:09
Speaker 1: age 14, 15, or 16, is there any doubt that
• 56:12
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein began molesting you years before you turned the
• 56:15
Speaker 1: age of 18? Goldberger, object to form. Courtney, there's no doubt. Yeah,
• 56:21
Speaker 1: he started molesting me when I was 14. Scarola, and
• 56:25
Speaker 1: did he continue to molest you for years after those
• 56:27
Speaker 1: molestations began? Goldberger, object to the form. Courtney, yes. Scarola, question.
• 56:34
Speaker 1: You said that there was approximately 20 to 30... girls
• 56:37
Speaker 1: that you took to Jeffrey Epstein's home, right? Answer, right. Question,
• 56:43
Speaker 1: why did you bring those girls to Jeffrey Epstein's home? Answer,
• 56:46
Speaker 1: I guess to make money, because he told me he
• 56:48
Speaker 1: would pay me $ 200 for me and $ 200 for every
• 56:51
Speaker 1: girl that I brought. Question, and you were in fact
• 56:54
Speaker 1: paid for the young girls that you brought to Mr.
• 56:57
Speaker 1: Epstein's house. Answer, yes. Question, you also said that the
• 57:01
Speaker 1: vast majority of those girls, with the exception of perhaps
• 57:04
Speaker 1: two or three, were underage. Answer, yes. Question. Why were
• 57:08
Speaker 1: you bringing underage girls to Jeffrey Epstein's home? Answer. Because
• 57:12
Speaker 1: he wanted the girls young. There were times I would
• 57:14
Speaker 1: bring girls that looked older or were older and he
• 57:17
Speaker 1: would just walk out. He would leave the money on
• 57:20
Speaker 1: the counter and just walk out. He wanted the girls young. Question.
• 57:24
Speaker 1: Your deposition began with some significant discussion about your involvement
• 57:28
Speaker 1: with criminal law. Do you recall that? Answer. Yes. Question.
• 57:33
Speaker 1: Do you know how many of the offenses discussed today
• 57:35
Speaker 1: brought up by Mr. Epstein's defense lawyer were offenses that
• 57:39
Speaker 1: occurred while you were a juvenile? Answer, there was one.
• 57:42
Speaker 1: I got in trouble one time when I was a juvenile. Question, okay.
• 57:45
Speaker 1: So it was at least one of those offenses when
• 57:48
Speaker 1: you were a juvenile. Answer, yes. Goldberger, object to the form. Scarola,
• 57:53
Speaker 1: there were also some discussions about how those offenses were
• 57:56
Speaker 1: disposed of. Do you know the difference between a guilty
• 57:59
Speaker 1: plea and a guilty plea of no contest? Answer, no
• 58:02
Speaker 1: contest is you're not pled, you're not pleading, admitting to
• 58:06
Speaker 1: it fully, correct? Answer, I want you to assume that
• 58:09
Speaker 1: to be the case. Answer, yeah. Question, do you know
• 58:12
Speaker 1: which specific charges were disposed of by guilty plea as
• 58:16
Speaker 1: opposed to having been disposed of by a no contest plea? Answer, no,
• 58:20
Speaker 1: I'm not sure. Question, all right. Do you know that
• 58:23
Speaker 1: there is a difference between the adjudication of guilt and
• 58:26
Speaker 1: having an adjudication of guilt withheld by the court even
• 58:29
Speaker 1: after a plea of no contest? Answer, right. Goldberger, objection
• 58:34
Speaker 1: to the form of the question. Scarola, do you recognize
• 58:38
Speaker 1: that there is a distinction as to whether the court
• 58:40
Speaker 1: adjudicates you guilty or withholds adjudication even after a plea
• 58:45
Speaker 1: of no contest to a criminal charge? Goldberger, object to
• 58:48
Speaker 1: the form. Courtney, right. I know that there's a difference,
• 58:52
Speaker 1: and I can't even tell you really what the difference is. Scarola, okay.
• 58:56
Speaker 1: Do you know whether you were adjudicated guilty or whether
• 58:58
Speaker 1: adjudication was withheld with regard to each of the circumstances
• 59:02
Speaker 1: that Mr. Epstein's defense lawyer described? Answer, yes, I believe
• 59:06
Speaker 1: a couple of them were withheld. Adjudicated, withheld. Question. okay.
• 59:11
Speaker 1: You told us that you started using drugs in 2002
• 59:14
Speaker 1: when you were 14, correct? Answer, yes. Question, is there
• 59:18
Speaker 1: any doubt in your mind that your use of drugs
• 59:21
Speaker 1: began after Jeffrey Epstein began abusing you? Goldberger, object to
• 59:25
Speaker 1: the form. Courtney, no. Scarola, you talked about having been
• 59:30
Speaker 1: naked in the presence of Jeffrey Epstein when you were
• 59:32
Speaker 1: 14 years of age. Witness, nods head, question, prior to
• 59:37
Speaker 1: having been naked in the presence of Jeffrey Epstein? When
• 59:40
Speaker 1: you were 14, had you ever previously been naked in
• 59:44
Speaker 1: the presence of a man? Goldberger, object to form. The witness, no. Scarola,
• 59:49
Speaker 1: have you ever worked as a dancer or stripper before
• 59:52
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein began paying you to permit him to molest you? Goldberger,
• 59:56
Speaker 1: object to the form. Courtney, no. Scarola, had you ever
• 1:00:02
Speaker 1: had a sexual experience with another female before Jeffrey Epstein
• 1:00:05
Speaker 1: began paying you to permit him to sexually molest you? Goldberger,
• 1:00:08
Speaker 1: object to the form. Courtney, no. Scarola, have you ever
• 1:00:13
Speaker 1: had a drug abuse problem before Jeffrey Epstein began regularly
• 1:00:16
Speaker 1: paying you for sex at age 14? Goldberger, object to form. Courtney, no. Scarola, no.
• 1:00:23
Speaker 1: Had you ever been convicted of a crime before Jeffrey
• 1:00:26
Speaker 1: Epstein began paying you at age 14 to allow him
• 1:00:28
Speaker 1: to molest you? Goldberger object to form. Courtney, no. Scarola,
• 1:00:35
Speaker 1: in addition to the 20 to 30 young girls that
• 1:00:37
Speaker 1: you personally were paid to bring to Mr. Epstein's home,
• 1:00:40
Speaker 1: are you aware of others who were being paid by
• 1:00:42
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein while they were under the age of 18
• 1:00:45
Speaker 1: to allow Jeffrey Epstein to sexually molest them? Goldberger object
• 1:00:49
Speaker 1: to form. Courtney, yes. Scarola, can you give us an
• 1:00:54
Speaker 1: estimate as to the number of other girls apart from
• 1:00:57
Speaker 1: those that you brought? Scarola, who are being paid by
• 1:01:01
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein? Goldberger objects to form. Scarola, to allow Jeffrey
• 1:01:05
Speaker 1: Epstein to sexually molest them? Goldberger, object to form. Answer,
• 1:01:11
Speaker 1: there's so many in West Palm Beach, there's so many girls,
• 1:01:14
Speaker 1: can't even give you a number of how many? Scarola,
• 1:01:17
Speaker 1: prior to being introduced to Jeffrey Epstein, what type of
• 1:01:20
Speaker 1: student were you? Answer, I was a straight-A student. Question,
• 1:01:24
Speaker 1: were you involved in school activity? Answer, yeah. I was
• 1:01:27
Speaker 1: the captain of the cheerleading squad. I played the trumpet.
• 1:01:30
Speaker 1: I was first-year trumpet. Question, which high school did you
• 1:01:33
Speaker 1: go to? Answer, Lake Worth Middle. Question, did you ever
• 1:01:36
Speaker 1: get to graduate from Lake Worth? Answer, yeah. Question, and
• 1:01:40
Speaker 1: did you go to high school? Answer, no. In the
• 1:01:43
Speaker 1: summer of 8th to 9th grade is when I met
• 1:01:45
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. After that, kind of when everything started going downhill.
• 1:01:50
Speaker 1: When I went to 9th grade, I just never went.
• 1:01:53
Speaker 1: I went for maybe a week or so, and then
• 1:01:55
Speaker 1: I even moved schools to John I. Leonard, and I
• 1:01:58
Speaker 1: just dropped out. Question. There is some likelihood that this
• 1:02:02
Speaker 1: testimony will be presented to the jury by the way
• 1:02:05
Speaker 1: of the videotape that is being taken of your testimony.
• 1:02:09
Speaker 1: I would like you to tell the ladies and gentlemen
• 1:02:11
Speaker 1: of the jury as best you're able to how much
• 1:02:14
Speaker 1: money Jeffrey Epstein was paying you on an average during
• 1:02:17
Speaker 1: this period of time. that you were being paid to
• 1:02:19
Speaker 1: bring girls to him for purposes of sexual molestation, and
• 1:02:23
Speaker 1: during the period of time that you yourself were being
• 1:02:26
Speaker 1: paid to submit to sexual molestation by Jeffrey. Mr. Goldberger,
• 1:02:31
Speaker 1: object to the form. Courtney, I was being paid $ 200
• 1:02:35
Speaker 1: for every girl. There were a couple of girls that
• 1:02:38
Speaker 1: looked real young that he would pay me $ 300 for bringing,
• 1:02:41
Speaker 1: but I would bring him a girl sometimes twice a day,
• 1:02:44
Speaker 1: really once a day or some others, just once. but
• 1:02:47
Speaker 1: at least four or five times a week. So I
• 1:02:49
Speaker 1: don't know if you do the math on that, you know, two, four, six, eight,
• 1:02:53
Speaker 1: that's at least $ 800 a week for just one girl
• 1:02:56
Speaker 1: for four days, you know, Scarola. What were the economic
• 1:03:01
Speaker 1: circumstances of your family during this period of time before
• 1:03:04
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein started to pay you those sums of money? Answer,
• 1:03:08
Speaker 1: I came from a poor family, you know. Question, was
• 1:03:11
Speaker 1: your mom the sole support of the family during that
• 1:03:13
Speaker 1: period of time? Answer, she was a single parent. Question,
• 1:03:18
Speaker 1: and did you have siblings? Answer, a brother, but she didn't.
• 1:03:22
Speaker 1: He moved with my father's parent, my grandparents, on my
• 1:03:25
Speaker 1: dad's side, so it was just me. Question, okay, so
• 1:03:29
Speaker 1: it was just you and your mom, and she was
• 1:03:30
Speaker 1: the sole support of your household. Is that correct? Answer, yes. Scarola,
• 1:03:36
Speaker 1: object to the form. Question, did she work? Answer, she
• 1:03:39
Speaker 1: worked as a waitress. Question, And was your mom experiencing
• 1:03:42
Speaker 1: drug problems at the time when you first became involved
• 1:03:45
Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, yeah. Question, describe the circumstances that
• 1:03:51
Speaker 1: led to your being introduced to Jeffrey Epstein. Answer, there
• 1:03:55
Speaker 1: was just a couple. There was an incident where my
• 1:03:57
Speaker 1: mom was switching apartments and we were going from one
• 1:04:00
Speaker 1: apartment to another and she was saving money or doing
• 1:04:03
Speaker 1: whatever she was doing. And that's when I kind of
• 1:04:05
Speaker 1: started sleeping over at Tatum's house. because my mom was
• 1:04:09
Speaker 1: having issues with, you know, with her car, and just
• 1:04:11
Speaker 1: all types of stuff, so it was more stable for
• 1:04:13
Speaker 1: me to live at Tatum's, or stay at Tatum's house
• 1:04:15
Speaker 1: a lot. And then when Tatum's dad seen, you know,
• 1:04:18
Speaker 1: that my mom was having a hard time, and then
• 1:04:20
Speaker 1: taking care of me on top of, you know, her
• 1:04:22
Speaker 1: just trying to survive, pay her bills and stuff, he
• 1:04:25
Speaker 1: allowed me to come stay with him. Question, did there
• 1:04:28
Speaker 1: come a point in time when a routine developed with
• 1:04:31
Speaker 1: regard to what would happen once you got to Jeffrey
• 1:04:33
Speaker 1: Epstein's mansion? Goldberger object to form. Courtney, yes. Scarola, would
• 1:04:42
Speaker 1: you describe to the jurors what the routine was, what
• 1:04:44
Speaker 1: typically happened? Goldberger, object to form. Courtney, we would show up.
• 1:04:50
Speaker 1: Either he would have a driver come get us or
• 1:04:52
Speaker 1: we would take a cab there and he would pay
• 1:04:54
Speaker 1: for it. And we would enter his house and we
• 1:04:57
Speaker 1: would up like off to his kitchen. There was like
• 1:04:59
Speaker 1: a stairwell. We'd go up the stairwell and like to
• 1:05:02
Speaker 1: his bedroom, through his bedroom and go to the bathroom.
• 1:05:05
Speaker 1: But it was like, you know, as big as this room.
• 1:05:08
Speaker 1: And we just set up the massage table, put towels
• 1:05:11
Speaker 1: on it. Scarola, let me interrupt you there for just
• 1:05:13
Speaker 1: a moment. Question, you're speaking of we. Answer, right. Question,
• 1:05:18
Speaker 1: we being picked up by a driver or we taking
• 1:05:21
Speaker 1: a cab there and Epstein's paying for the cab ride. Answer, uh-huh. Question,
• 1:05:26
Speaker 1: was it generally more than just you alone? Answer, right.
• 1:05:30
Speaker 1: It was either me or whoever I was bringing or,
• 1:05:32
Speaker 1: you know, when I first went, me and Tatum. And
• 1:05:35
Speaker 1: sometimes he would pay me and Tatum to go back.
• 1:05:37
Speaker 1: Me and Tatum went together more than once, you know? Question, okay,
• 1:05:41
Speaker 1: so I interrupted you in your description of what went on.
• 1:05:44
Speaker 1: There was usually more than one girl there at a time. Kohlberger,
• 1:05:47
Speaker 1: Objective Form. Courtney, yes. Scarola, what happened? Courtney, so we
• 1:05:55
Speaker 1: would go upstairs and we'd set up the massage table
• 1:05:57
Speaker 1: and we would get undressed and wait for him to
• 1:05:59
Speaker 1: walk in. And he would walk in normally... Like a
• 1:06:02
Speaker 1: robe and lay on the massage table and one girl,
• 1:06:05
Speaker 1: you know, would get on one side of him and
• 1:06:07
Speaker 1: I would get on the other side and give him
• 1:06:08
Speaker 1: a massage like for 30 minutes on each side of him.
• 1:06:12
Speaker 1: And he would take like phone business calls, like phone
• 1:06:14
Speaker 1: calls as we do this. Scarola, I'm going to interrupt
• 1:06:18
Speaker 1: you again for just a moment. You said that Jeffrey
• 1:06:21
Speaker 1: entered the room wearing a robe and then he got
• 1:06:24
Speaker 1: on the massage table. Courtney, uh-huh. Goldberger, object to the form. Scrolla,
• 1:06:31
Speaker 1: did he continue to wear the robe when he was
• 1:06:32
Speaker 1: on the massage table? Courtney, no, he would take it off,
• 1:06:36
Speaker 1: and he wouldn't have any clothes on. Alright, we're going
• 1:06:39
Speaker 1: to wrap up right here, and in the next episode
• 1:06:41
Speaker 1: dealing with the issue, we're going to pick up where
• 1:06:43
Speaker 1: we left off. All of the information that goes with
• 1:06:45
Speaker 1: this episode can be found in the description box. What's
• 1:06:54
Speaker 1: up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles.
• 1:06:58
Speaker 1: In this episode, we're going to pick up where we
• 1:07:00
Speaker 1: left off with the Courtney Wilde deposition. Scrolla, did he
• 1:07:04
Speaker 1: continue to wear the robe when he was on the
• 1:07:06
Speaker 1: massage table? Answer, no, he would take it off and
• 1:07:11
Speaker 1: he wouldn't have any clothes on. Scrolla, okay. Answer, and
• 1:07:16
Speaker 1: we would just put like a towel over his butt
• 1:07:19
Speaker 1: while we massaged him. Scrolla, tell us what happened next. Answer,
• 1:07:24
Speaker 1: and when he was done taking his phone calls and
• 1:07:25
Speaker 1: stuff like that, he would flip over. And if I
• 1:07:28
Speaker 1: was bringing a girl, he would ask me to go
• 1:07:30
Speaker 1: downstairs and wait for her. And either he would have
• 1:07:32
Speaker 1: the money when he came in, he would put the
• 1:07:34
Speaker 1: money on the counter, or, you know, I can't. That's
• 1:07:36
Speaker 1: normally what he would do. And so I'd go downstairs
• 1:07:39
Speaker 1: and I'd wait for the girl to get done. And
• 1:07:41
Speaker 1: I'd wait in the kitchen for her until she came down. Question.
• 1:07:45
Speaker 1: Were there circumstances where you were asked to participate in
• 1:07:48
Speaker 1: sexual activity with Jeffrey Epstein before you left the girl
• 1:07:51
Speaker 1: that you brought with you? Goldberger Objective Form. Courtney, no,
• 1:07:56
Speaker 1: normally he would just want one person there. I mean,
• 1:07:59
Speaker 1: unless if, like, when Tatum brought me there the first time,
• 1:08:01
Speaker 1: you know, I was the girl who got left in
• 1:08:03
Speaker 1: the room, you know? Scarola, how many times, if you
• 1:08:06
Speaker 1: can estimate for us, were you the girl who got
• 1:08:09
Speaker 1: left in the room and were the one who was
• 1:08:11
Speaker 1: engaging in sexual activity with Jeffrey Epstein? Goldberger, object to
• 1:08:16
Speaker 1: the form. Courtney, several. Goldberger, object to the form. Courtney,
• 1:08:22
Speaker 1: I can't remember how many times. Scarola. And? Courtney. Several. Scarola.
• 1:08:28
Speaker 1: When there was sexual activity between you and Jeffrey Epstein,
• 1:08:31
Speaker 1: what occurred? Goldberger objected to the form. Courtney. He would
• 1:08:36
Speaker 1: want me to stand next to him, and he would, like,
• 1:08:38
Speaker 1: just grab onto my body and just touch my body
• 1:08:42
Speaker 1: and touch me while he jacked off. And he wanted
• 1:08:45
Speaker 1: me to, like, rub his nipples and stuff like that. Question.
• 1:08:48
Speaker 1: All right. Was there ever a circumstance where you engaged
• 1:08:50
Speaker 1: in sexual intercourse with Jeffrey Epstein? Answer. No. Question, was
• 1:08:54
Speaker 1: there ever a circumstance where there was any oral sex
• 1:08:57
Speaker 1: between you and Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, no. Question, did Jeffrey
• 1:09:02
Speaker 1: Epstein ever make any monetary promises to you for any
• 1:09:05
Speaker 1: future conduct in which he wanted you to engage? Goldberger,
• 1:09:09
Speaker 1: Objective Form. Courtney, no. Scarola, apart from his having, well,
• 1:09:15
Speaker 1: let me back up for just a moment. Did Mr. Epstein,
• 1:09:18
Speaker 1: before you began bringing other girls to him, offer you
• 1:09:21
Speaker 1: money for your bringing other girls to him? Answer, yes. Question,
• 1:09:25
Speaker 1: did you know how much you were going to get paid? Answer,
• 1:09:28
  Speaker 1: I can't remember if he specified $ 200, but I just
• 1:09:31
  Speaker 1: know that I was given $ 200, so I think I
• 1:09:34
Speaker 1: made that conclusion, but I can't remember if he specified
• 1:09:37
Speaker 1: that or not. Question, other than your having been paid extra,
• 1:09:41
Speaker 1: when you girls you brought were particularly young, were there
• 1:09:45
Speaker 1: any other circumstances? under which the payment that you received
• 1:09:48
Speaker 1: varied from the straight $ 200 Goldberger object to form. Question, no,
• 1:09:54
Speaker 1: there was a couple of times, like there was a
• 1:09:56
Speaker 1: time that he brought another girl, like I went there
• 1:09:59
Speaker 1: by myself, and he called me, asked me to come
• 1:10:01
Speaker 1: over there, and I went over there by myself, and
• 1:10:04
Speaker 1: he brought somebody, I can't remember the girl's name, into
• 1:10:06
Speaker 1: the room, and he paid me extra to like, I guess,
• 1:10:10
Speaker 1: have a threesome, so to speak, with her. Question, do
• 1:10:14
Speaker 1: you ever recall having met a girl by the name
• 1:10:16
Speaker 1: of Nadia? Answer, yeah. Question, and do you know whether
• 1:10:22
Speaker 1: that girl that you are referring to as having been
• 1:10:25
Speaker 1: brought in the room for a threesome was named Nadia? Answer, yeah,
• 1:10:28
Speaker 1: that was her name. Question, and does the last name
• 1:10:31
Speaker 1: Marcinkova mean anything to you? Answer, I can't remember her
• 1:10:35
Speaker 1: last name, but I'm sure that's it. Question, can you
• 1:10:38
Speaker 1: describe to us what Nadia looked like? Answer, yeah, she
• 1:10:41
Speaker 1: was really pretty, blonde hair. She couldn't speak any English,
• 1:10:45
Speaker 1: like green eyes, tall, skinny. Question, when you left the room,
• 1:10:49
Speaker 1: leaving behind someone you had brought to Jeffrey's house, did
• 1:10:52
Speaker 1: you ever have any conversation with those young girls that
• 1:10:55
Speaker 1: you brought to Mr. Epstein's house about what went on
• 1:10:58
Speaker 1: when you left? Goldberger, object to the form. Courtney, yeah,
• 1:11:03
Speaker 1: they would. But a lot of times, I wouldn't want
• 1:11:06
Speaker 1: to tell them exactly what would happen. So I would
• 1:11:08
Speaker 1: just tell them that, you know, you don't have to get,
• 1:11:11
Speaker 1: you can leave your bra and panties on. and he
• 1:11:13
Speaker 1: just wants to look at your body, and he's probably
• 1:11:16
Speaker 1: going to jack off. I would tell them that. Scrolla, alright,
• 1:11:20
Speaker 1: and did you have conversations with any of those girls
• 1:11:22
Speaker 1: afterwards about what had actually happened when you left them
• 1:11:25
Speaker 1: alone with Jeffrey Epstein? Goldberger, object to the form. Courtney,
• 1:11:31
Speaker 1: there were a couple times that girls came down and
• 1:11:33
Speaker 1: they just looked traumatized, but they, nobody, and the one girl, Amy,
• 1:11:38
Speaker 1: that I brought, another time she was of age, She
• 1:11:41
Speaker 1: said something transpired between the two of them. She was
• 1:11:45
Speaker 1: real mad at him, but she wouldn't tell me what
• 1:11:47
Speaker 1: happened either. Question, okay. Was there any session with Jeffrey
• 1:11:51
Speaker 1: Epstein in which you were involved that began as a
• 1:11:54
Speaker 1: massage that did not progress to sexual touching? Answer, no. Question,
• 1:12:00
Speaker 1: apart from the one circumstance that you have described with Nadia,
• 1:12:03
Speaker 1: were there any other circumstances where Jeffrey Epstein had you
• 1:12:06
Speaker 1: engage in sexual activity with any other person in his presence? Goldberger.
• 1:12:10
Speaker 1: Object to form. Courtney, no. Goldberger, I'll withdraw the objection. Scarola,
• 1:12:17
Speaker 1: it's too late now. Do you know whether there was
• 1:12:19
Speaker 1: any other girls besides you who were being paid to
• 1:12:22
Speaker 1: bring underage girls to Jeffrey Epstein for purposes of sexual conduct? Mr. Goldberger,
• 1:12:28
Speaker 1: object to the form. Courtney, yes. Scarola, who else do
• 1:12:32
Speaker 1: you know of? Answer, Tatum, this girl Amanda. I can't
• 1:12:36
Speaker 1: remember everybody's name right now. Question, do you have any
• 1:12:39
Speaker 1: idea how many girls Tatum brought Separate and apart from
• 1:12:42
Speaker 1: the 20 or 30 that you brought? Answer, yes. She
• 1:12:45
Speaker 1: brought several. She brought way more than I did. Question,
• 1:12:49
Speaker 1: did you ever meet a woman by the name of
• 1:12:50
Speaker 1: Sarah Kellen? Answer, yes. Question, and tell us about that meeting.
• 1:12:56
Speaker 1: Goldberger Objective Form. Courtney, she was his assistant and she
• 1:13:01
Speaker 1: would answer the phone and anytime I would go there,
• 1:13:04
Speaker 1: I would meet her. She was normally at a desk
• 1:13:07
Speaker 1: like working and stuff like that, but she was always
• 1:13:10
Speaker 1: real nice to me Just like, you know, kind of short.
• 1:13:13
Speaker 1: I didn't hang out with her or anything, but I
• 1:13:15
Speaker 1: met her almost every time I went there. Scarola, was
• 1:13:18
Speaker 1: Sarah Kellan ever present in the room when Jeffrey Epstein
• 1:13:21
Speaker 1: was engaging in the sexual molestation of a young girl? Goldberger,
• 1:13:25
Speaker 1: object to the form. Courtney, no, never with me, no. Scarola,
• 1:13:31
Speaker 1: was Sarah Kellan's position in the house such that young
• 1:13:33
Speaker 1: girls entering and leaving the house would generally have to
• 1:13:36
Speaker 1: encounter Sarah Kellan in that coming and going process? Answer, yes. Question,
• 1:13:42
Speaker 1: did you cooperate with the federal government in the investigation
• 1:13:46
Speaker 1: into Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, yes. Question, and did you hire
• 1:13:51
Speaker 1: Brad Edwards for the purpose of enforcing your legal rights
• 1:13:54
Speaker 1: and claims against Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, yes. Question, did Jeffrey
• 1:13:59
Speaker 1: Epstein ultimately pay you to settle your claim for damage
• 1:14:02
Speaker 1: against him? Answer, yes. Question, could you describe your physical
• 1:14:06
Speaker 1: appearance when you first started to go to Jeffrey Epstein's
• 1:14:09
Speaker 1: Palm Beach mansion? Goldberger, object to form. Courtney, yeah, I
• 1:14:14
Speaker 1: was 14 years old. I had braces on my teeth.
• 1:14:17
Speaker 1: I was just real young. I don't know how else
• 1:14:19
Speaker 1: to describe it. Skorola, apart from submitting to sexual molestation
• 1:14:23
Speaker 1: by Jeffrey Epstein, were you providing any other services to
• 1:14:26
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein? Did you clean his house? Did you press
• 1:14:29
Speaker 1: his clothing? Anything like that? Answer, no. Goldberger, object to form. Courtney, no. Skorola,
• 1:14:37
Speaker 1: Are you aware of any of the other minors who
• 1:14:39
Speaker 1: are being paid by Jeffrey Epstein for performing any service
• 1:14:43
Speaker 1: for him other than submitting to his sexual molestation? Goldberger
• 1:14:46
Speaker 1: object to form. Courtney, no. Scarola, had you had any
• 1:14:52
Speaker 1: experience in giving massages before Jeffrey Epstein began paying you
• 1:14:56
Speaker 1: to submit to his procedure that you have described that
• 1:14:59
Speaker 1: began with massages and led to molestation? Goldberger object to form. Courtney, no. Scarola,
• 1:15:06
Speaker 1: have you ever engaged in any sale of sexual-related services
• 1:15:10
Speaker 1: before Jeffrey Epstein began paying you to submit to sexual molestation? Mr. Goldberger,
• 1:15:15
Speaker 1: Objective Form. Courtney, no. Scarola, have you ever had access
• 1:15:20
Speaker 1: to the kind of money that Jeffrey Epstein began to
• 1:15:22
Speaker 1: pay you at any time before Jeffrey Epstein began to
• 1:15:25
Speaker 1: pay you? Answer, no. Scarola, may I just have a moment, please? Edwards,
• 1:15:30
Speaker 1: could we just take a quick break? So they go
• 1:15:33
Speaker 1: off the record, then they're back. Question, Miss Wilde, you
• 1:15:37
Speaker 1: told us that when you first began going to Jeffrey
• 1:15:39
Speaker 1: Epstein's Palm Beach mansion that you were still in braces
• 1:15:42
Speaker 1: at the time. Is that correct? Answer, yes. Goldberger, object
• 1:15:46
Speaker 1: to form. I'm sorry. Scarola, you also told us that
• 1:15:50
Speaker 1: you have no recollection of Jeffrey Epstein ever performing oral
• 1:15:53
Speaker 1: sex on you, correct? Did there ever come to a
• 1:15:57
Speaker 1: point in time where Jeffrey Epstein had you perform oral
• 1:16:00
Speaker 1: sex on him and complained about your braces interfering with
• 1:16:04
Speaker 1: that experience for him? Answer, yes. Goldberger, object to the form. Question,
• 1:16:10
Speaker 1: tell us about that if you would please. What happened? Answer,
• 1:16:14
Speaker 1: it was after I was done massaging him. Whoever walked
• 1:16:18
Speaker 1: out of the room and he started like feeling on me,
• 1:16:21
Speaker 1: like have me walk up. So I was like in
• 1:16:25
Speaker 1: his arm area and he was just like jacking off
• 1:16:27
Speaker 1: in his hand and he asked me to give him
• 1:16:29
Speaker 1: oral sex. So when I started to try, he then
• 1:16:32
Speaker 1: stopped me and told me that, you know, I was
• 1:16:34
Speaker 1: hurting him or whatever. Question, and is that the only
• 1:16:37
Speaker 1: time that that happened? That one time that you can recall? Answer, yes. Question,
• 1:16:42
Speaker 1: as you look back on all of the things that
• 1:16:44
Speaker 1: we unfortunately have been required to ask you about during
• 1:16:47
Speaker 1: the course of this deposition, how do you feel about that? Goldberger,
• 1:16:51
Speaker 1: object to form. Courtney, it makes me just feel, I
• 1:16:55
Speaker 1: just feel ashamed. I feel ashamed. I really feel shame.
• 1:16:59
Speaker 1: I can't even really put all my emotions into words
• 1:17:01
Speaker 1: right now, how I feel, you know? Scarola, Alright, thank you.
• 1:17:06
Speaker 1: I don't have any further questions. Courtney, thank you. Quick
• 1:17:12
Speaker 1: redirect by Goldberger. Question. Your mother had a drug problem
• 1:17:15
Speaker 1: before you had any kind of involvement with Mr. Epstein, correct? Answer. Yeah. Goldberger,
• 1:17:21
Speaker 1: that's all I have. Videographer. This concludes the deposition of
• 1:17:25
Speaker 1: Courtney E. Wilde. The time is approximately 1.30pm and we
• 1:17:29
Speaker 1: are off the record. Alright folks, that's going to do it.
