- 0:17Speaker 1: Welcome to jag Zam.
- 0:17Speaker 2: I'm kay Nannie Stevens, Brian Sexton, and John Oser are
- 0:20Speaker 2: with me today.
- 0:21Speaker 1: We're heading into the.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Bye week, but we're coming off a historically bad loss,
- 0:24Speaker 2: so let's talk things out a little bit and talk
- 0:26Speaker 2: about what's going to go on going forward.
- 0:28Speaker 1: So big thing number one, not if, but when.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Obviously after a loss like we had to the Lions
- 0:33Speaker 2: last week, changes will be made at this point, no
- 0:36Speaker 2: changes yet, Brian, But when you're looking forward, something has
- 0:39Speaker 2: to change at some point.
- 0:40Speaker 3: It does.
- 0:40Speaker 4: You can't sell what we've seen too often your year,
- 0:45Speaker 4: whether it was the Bills or the Bears, and this
- 0:48Speaker 4: was just further proof that there are systemic problems. What
- 0:52Speaker 4: those are for someone else to decide. I mean, I
- 0:55Speaker 4: can give you a couple of things that I think
- 0:56Speaker 4: and I have, but something's going to change. I know
- 1:00Speaker 4: people want it right now, but that doesn't help change
- 1:04Speaker 4: it for the rest of this season. It creates more
- 1:07Speaker 4: problems oftentimes. Look, I've done this for thirty one years.
- 1:10Speaker 4: I've never seen and in season coaching change make a
- 1:14Speaker 4: difference at all. So you might as well just stay
- 1:17Speaker 4: the course and go through the rest of the season.
- 1:20Speaker 4: The schedule gets easier. You're not playing the Lions anymore.
- 1:23Speaker 4: You've got the Titans and the Jets and teams that fit.
- 1:25Speaker 3: More where you are.
- 1:26Speaker 4: I would stay right where I was, understanding that nobody
- 1:30Speaker 4: believes that anything is staying the same when the season
- 1:32Speaker 4: is complete.
- 1:33Speaker 5: Yeah, it's as much as fans don't want to hear this,
- 1:39Speaker 5: shod Cohn and people who are influencing the decision. You
- 1:43Speaker 5: don't want to make a move in the X number
- 1:46Speaker 5: of hours right after that. It's emotional. And even though
- 1:50Speaker 5: fans instinct to say, well, fire everybody, it's the job
- 1:57Speaker 5: of the owner to make sure that the change or
- 2:02Speaker 5: the structure is good for the long term and not
- 2:07Speaker 5: good for twelve hours.
- 2:08Speaker 4: And people know this. But the Jets fired Robert Sala
- 2:11Speaker 4: how many weeks ago? And has that turned the tide
- 2:14Speaker 4: at all? And Aaron Rodgers is their quarterback, They've got
- 2:17Speaker 4: that veteran presence.
- 2:18Speaker 3: It hasn't changed anything.
- 2:20Speaker 4: And I think people know they know this, But the
- 2:22Speaker 4: emotion of it is I gotta have change, and I
- 2:24Speaker 4: got to have it now. Look, it sucked watching on Sunday.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Nobody liked that at all. But you're not going to
- 2:32Speaker 4: change it. In two weeks because you change it right now.
- 2:35Speaker 5: It's true.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Now our second big thing is on the table. While
- 2:38Speaker 2: we talk about grand changing, we haven't seen a lot
- 2:41Speaker 2: of that yet. Dan Peterson was asked earlier this week
- 2:43Speaker 2: about whether he'd be making any changes to.
- 2:46Speaker 1: His coaching staff, or particularly to play calling.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Gosh, I really wish that.
- 3:00Speaker 6: Everything for those everything's all kid.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I believe it's that John play calling is on the table.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Apparently everything is on the table. Is a little too
- 3:09Speaker 1: late for those kinds of talks.
- 3:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I'd say it's on the table because he wanted
- 3:15Speaker 5: to answer the question yesterday and in the next what
- 3:19Speaker 5: until the coaches leave the building for the bye, which
- 3:22Speaker 5: I think is Thursday Wednesday, whatever, they need to discuss
- 3:26Speaker 5: that and figure out what to do going forward. I
- 3:27Speaker 5: don't think at that point he had made that decision,
- 3:30Speaker 5: so leaving everything on the table. I'd be a little
- 3:34Speaker 5: surprised if if he changes the approach, Brian, because he's
- 3:39Speaker 5: been pretty clear for two and a half years that
- 3:41Speaker 5: he believes in this approach. Maybe he takes over play
- 3:44Speaker 5: calling or changes a dynamic in it. But I just
- 3:48Speaker 5: don't believe from listening to Doug for two and a
- 3:50Speaker 5: half years that he thinks there's an issue with the structure.
- 3:53Speaker 4: No, I don't think so I'll take the coaching side,
- 3:56Speaker 4: because he was asked about would he make changes to
- 3:58Speaker 4: his coaching staff, and I think I said on our
- 4:00Speaker 4: postgame radio show on Sunday evening and yesterday on Jaguars
- 4:04Speaker 4: Am or Monday on Jaguars Am, that I thought maybe
- 4:06Speaker 4: you'd have a sacrificial lamb, you know, somebody that set
- 4:09Speaker 4: the tone that said it wasn't good enough. We can't
- 4:12Speaker 4: have that, We've got to change it. But Doug reminded
- 4:14Speaker 4: me in his news conference on Monday afternoon that this
- 4:17Speaker 4: was one of the reasons why he ended up leaving Philadelphia,
- 4:19Speaker 4: because he doesn't want to point the finger at his
- 4:21Speaker 4: assistant coaches. In fact, he was definitive when he said
- 4:25Speaker 4: point the finger at me. So I don't expect you're
- 4:29Speaker 4: going to see any changes to his coaching staff.
- 4:32Speaker 3: That's not how he operates.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Maybe the owner comes in and changes the dynamic because
- 4:37Speaker 4: he's the one person who can make him do something
- 4:39Speaker 4: like that. But Doug seem pretty adamant that if anyone
- 4:41Speaker 4: was going to go, it wasn't going to be any
- 4:43Speaker 4: of his assistant coaches.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Big thing number three is bye by.
- 4:46Speaker 2: We're into the bye week, and as Brian mentioned when
- 4:50Speaker 2: speaking directly to the fans, is what Doug.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Pearson had to say.
- 4:53Speaker 6: Yeah, you can criticize me all you want, point the
- 4:56Speaker 6: finger at me. That's fine because it's where it starts.
- 5:00Speaker 6: But you know, for the players, they put their best
- 5:04Speaker 6: foot forward every single day. Yesterday was not who we are.
- 5:10Speaker 6: And to Jean's point, I mean, this is an exhausted
- 5:14Speaker 6: team right now and we need this week to get
- 5:17Speaker 6: rejuvenated again, get fresh again, and get ready to go
- 5:19Speaker 6: for the last you know, six weeks.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Ran.
- 5:23Speaker 2: I think this team, the fan base probably tired physically, emotionally, mentally,
- 5:27Speaker 2: every aspect of that. Is there any belief after what
- 5:30Speaker 2: we saw against the lines they are going to be
- 5:31Speaker 2: able to bounce back at least put some effort forward
- 5:33Speaker 2: in these last six games.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Well yeah, I mean, Doug says that's not who we are,
- 5:37Speaker 4: and I know that's not a satisfying answer for anyone,
- 5:40Speaker 4: But what.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Else can he possibly say?
- 5:42Speaker 4: He could point back to the three games prior the Packers,
- 5:45Speaker 4: the Eagles and the Vikings where they were in it
- 5:48Speaker 4: at the end, and those are three good football teams
- 5:51Speaker 4: near the top of the standings in the league, let
- 5:52Speaker 4: alone the NFC, and he can say that's who we are.
- 5:56Speaker 4: So if you're looking for hope, if that's true, that
- 6:00Speaker 4: who they are. You went toe to toe with Detexans
- 6:03Speaker 4: a couple of weeks ago, and again, you know the
- 6:05Speaker 4: teams that are left on the schedule more close to
- 6:08Speaker 4: who you are record wise, the Raiders, the Titans, the Jets.
- 6:13Speaker 4: So if you're just gonna try to compare, yeah, there's
- 6:16Speaker 4: a reason to have some hope and to believe what
- 6:18Speaker 4: he had to say. It's just there wasn't a whole
- 6:21Speaker 4: lot to say for us or for him.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it's fair to say that that's who
- 6:27Speaker 5: they were on Sunday because that's what it was, or
- 6:30Speaker 5: whatever all these were was. I can't keep track right now,
- 6:35Speaker 5: but it's not who they've been. And I think Doug
- 6:38Speaker 5: does believe you can get back to how you were
- 6:43Speaker 5: playing with the emotion and the desire of the three
- 6:47Speaker 5: weeks leading into Detroit. I think he does believe they
- 6:49Speaker 5: can get that back if you get Trevor Lawrence back
- 6:52Speaker 5: playing those last six games. He said, add nauseum in
- 6:56Speaker 5: the last couple of days and no fans are tired
- 6:58Speaker 5: of hearing it about being a tired fatigue team. I
- 7:02Speaker 5: think there was something to that in Detroit that once
- 7:04Speaker 5: they kind of took the punch, there wasn't a punch
- 7:07Speaker 5: to give back. I do think after the bye there'll
- 7:10Speaker 5: be a punch to give back. I just don't know
- 7:13Speaker 5: if those punches are gonna have a bunch more wins,
- 7:16Speaker 5: but I think you'll see more fight.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Love some more fight. We're gonna fight through this.
- 7:19Speaker 2: We're gonna come back after the break and talk a
- 7:21Speaker 2: little bit about what we're gonna see after the bye week.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Jag Zam brought to you by Field's Auto Group. Jackins
- 7:36Speaker 2: Goes Premiere Luxury Autogroup. You can go to Fieldsauto dot com.
- 7:40Speaker 1: This oh, this.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Schools Welcome back into jags Am.
- 7:48Speaker 1: It's Wednesday of bye week.
- 7:50Speaker 2: We're getting ready to have a couple of days off,
- 7:52Speaker 2: so that's good, but we still want to look forward
- 7:54Speaker 2: to those final six games. We mentioned five of the
- 7:56Speaker 2: six opponents under five hundreds, so those are winnable matches,
- 7:59Speaker 2: but it depends, so you're putting out on the field
- 8:01Speaker 2: at that point. We've talked about Trevor Lawrence possibly being available.
- 8:04Speaker 2: We don't know what that full availability will be. But
- 8:07Speaker 2: in your mind, do you need to see Trevor at
- 8:10Speaker 2: some point in the rest of the season.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, because I want to see my young wide
- 8:16Speaker 4: receiver have the best possible arm throwing him the ball,
- 8:20Speaker 4: especially because he runs deep. I think we've seen that
- 8:24Speaker 4: that's not mac Jones' specialty, that he just misses on
- 8:26Speaker 4: those deep balls. So yes, I want to see not
- 8:29Speaker 4: at the risk of the shoulder eating surgery and being
- 8:32Speaker 4: a problem for him, but if he can handle the pain,
- 8:35Speaker 4: and because that's not going to change until the offseason,
- 8:38Speaker 4: if he can handle it not injure it further, Yeah,
- 8:40Speaker 4: I need to see him.
- 8:41Speaker 5: I say, yay, I mean yeah, your name. The graphic
- 8:44Speaker 5: here says yeah, your name. So I'll go with yay
- 8:47Speaker 5: because I would like to see him. As long as
- 8:51Speaker 5: you know it doesn't affect next off seasons. My understanding
- 8:55Speaker 5: is it wouldn't in terms of if surgery is an
- 8:58Speaker 5: option and all that, and if Trevor wants to play,
- 9:03Speaker 5: if he can do it without injury, then even for
- 9:07Speaker 5: beyond Brian Thomas Junior, just he's still a young guy
- 9:11Speaker 5: and still getting better progressing would be a positive. And
- 9:18Speaker 5: now I'm usually not this guy. But if the offensive
- 9:22Speaker 5: line's fine, if the offensive line were to sustain some
- 9:25Speaker 5: injuries where it got a little dicey, they've passed protected. Okay,
- 9:30Speaker 5: So I have no problem with putting him out there
- 9:32Speaker 5: in this situation right now.
- 9:33Speaker 4: I think he's also the leader of your franchise and
- 9:35Speaker 4: the leader of the locker room. And you have guys
- 9:37Speaker 4: in there going what You're gonna package him up in
- 9:40Speaker 4: bubble wrap and put him away because of that, I'm
- 9:43Speaker 4: playing with the knee, a hip, a foot, whatever it
- 9:46Speaker 4: might be.
- 9:46Speaker 3: What about me?
- 9:48Speaker 4: I think having him as that guy, and not because
- 9:51Speaker 4: he's the fifty four million dollar man, but because he's
- 9:54Speaker 4: the number one guy, and he sets the temple for
- 9:56Speaker 4: your team.
- 9:56Speaker 3: And he's a guy who played hurt last year.
- 9:58Speaker 4: He's a guy who's tough enough to be willing to
- 10:01Speaker 4: play hurt, not injured, but hurt. So yeah, I think
- 10:05Speaker 4: the locker room needs to see if he can play, see.
- 10:08Speaker 5: Him play, It'll feel very make sure the word rudderless,
- 10:15Speaker 5: no big toe kind of situation. Yeah, if you don't
- 10:18Speaker 5: have Trevor in there, because it will feel very stale.
- 10:23Speaker 5: I think I'd rather not have that, and I think
- 10:25Speaker 5: the franchise would It would still be good for some energy,
- 10:28Speaker 5: I guess is the word I'm looking to agree.
- 10:30Speaker 2: And when we talked about developing some of the younger players,
- 10:33Speaker 2: you're not the offense is inoperable at this point, so
- 10:36Speaker 2: you're not seeing much of anything from anybody. So if
- 10:38Speaker 2: we want to see some of what you know Brenton
- 10:41Speaker 2: Strange can do, what Brian Thomas can do, we definitely
- 10:43Speaker 2: need to see Trevor back out there. Also looking at
- 10:46Speaker 2: a couple of guys contract years right we talked about this,
- 10:48Speaker 2: who's going to be here going forward? Who do we
- 10:50Speaker 2: want to see? Some of the young guys already locked up?
- 10:52Speaker 2: But two guys in contract years right now on Her
- 10:54Speaker 2: Cisco Walker Little. Have you seen enough of either of
- 10:56Speaker 2: them to say you would want them back?
- 10:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm probably. I think the jury is still out
- 11:04Speaker 5: a little bit. On Walker Little, there's six games with
- 11:08Speaker 5: Andre I like him, probably second contract, safety money. Brian
- 11:16Speaker 5: I would have a tough time. I think he's an
- 11:18Speaker 5: NFL starter. I think he's a good player. I don't
- 11:23Speaker 5: know about second contract, big money for this.
- 11:27Speaker 4: My understanding is is that he is a guy whose
- 11:30Speaker 4: first step is often wrong, right, And when you're talking
- 11:33Speaker 4: about being over the top, the best example of it
- 11:36Speaker 4: is in Philadelphia on DeVonta Smith's play.
- 11:40Speaker 3: I'm told that was him.
- 11:41Speaker 4: He should have been over the top helping Ronald Darby,
- 11:43Speaker 4: and instead he made a move to the inside when
- 11:45Speaker 4: he should have gone outside.
- 11:47Speaker 3: And that's been the case all year long with him.
- 11:50Speaker 4: So I'd probably rather have Walker a little because bigger
- 11:53Speaker 4: guys are harder to find. But he hasn't exactly exonerated
- 11:57Speaker 4: himself as the future at left tackle.
- 11:59Speaker 3: He's got a lot to proved.
- 12:00Speaker 5: The final six games, Yeah, six games are big for him.
- 12:03Speaker 5: I mean it's it's a position where if he shows
- 12:06Speaker 5: and you feel great about it, But I think you
- 12:10Speaker 5: have to feel great about it in a contract year
- 12:13Speaker 5: because then there's probably not a whole lot more development. Right,
- 12:17Speaker 5: So maybe, through no fault of his own, hasn't played
- 12:21Speaker 5: a lot to develop, But I don't know if in
- 12:24Speaker 5: year five you can have project there, So we'll see.
- 12:30Speaker 5: I'm less certain on that than on look.
- 12:32Speaker 4: And not to turn this to the draft because we'll
- 12:33Speaker 4: have all kinds of time for them, but where the
- 12:34Speaker 4: Daguars are likely going to be picking. There are a
- 12:36Speaker 4: couple of good offensive tackles, so if you were not
- 12:39Speaker 4: sold on him, that could be an option for you.
- 12:41Speaker 2: But you could need a couple the way the line
- 12:44Speaker 2: is right now, he couldn't.
- 12:45Speaker 4: I'm just gonna say this for ending whether Listen, you
- 12:48Speaker 4: need big guys up front, you guys on both sides
- 12:50Speaker 4: of the ball, without a doubt. But you saw the
- 12:52Speaker 4: way that that Lion's offensive line sets the temple for
- 12:55Speaker 4: their whole team both sides of the ball. Give me
- 12:58Speaker 4: that and give me an off intive lineman who can
- 13:00Speaker 4: play like that. I can build something.
- 13:02Speaker 5: They have to start. Yes, good, you know I do.
- 13:09Speaker 5: But you saw the lines the other day, right, Yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 5: it feels like you need to start being great up
- 13:16Speaker 5: front to get where this team wants to go.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Yes, agreed.
- 13:19Speaker 1: All right, stay with us.
- 13:19Speaker 2: We're going to talk a little bit about what's going
- 13:21Speaker 2: on elsewhere around the NFL. For eleven years, Dreambinders Homes
- 13:31Speaker 2: have been proud to call themselves the official home builder
- 13:33Speaker 2: of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Visit dreamfinders Homes dot com for
- 13:35Speaker 2: all of the available inventory and go Jags for here.
- 13:43Speaker 1: On Jags am today.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Getting ready for the bye week, we're going to talk
- 13:45Speaker 2: about some other teams, so we don't have to wallow
- 13:48Speaker 2: in our pity right now for ourselves. So let's talk
- 13:50Speaker 2: a little bit about Anthony Richardson back as the starter
- 13:52Speaker 2: for the Colts, and he got to win over the Jets,
- 13:55Speaker 2: led them with three touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns, one throwing touchdown.
- 13:59Speaker 2: We weren't sure if they were going to give up
- 14:00Speaker 2: on him entirely. Apparently they were saying they weren't really
- 14:02Speaker 2: doing that. I don't know if that's true or not,
- 14:04Speaker 2: or if it was because Joe flacka wasn't doing as well.
- 14:06Speaker 1: But he's back in there.
- 14:08Speaker 4: As long as he has more rushing touchdowns in a
- 14:10Speaker 4: game than passing touchdowns, nothing changes as.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Far as I'm concerned.
- 14:14Speaker 5: Yeah, and I think it's a smart move for them
- 14:17Speaker 5: Joe Flacco short term. Obviously, franchises need to find out
- 14:25Speaker 5: in this day and age what they've got at quarterback
- 14:29Speaker 5: because it's a it's a quick trigger decide to move
- 14:33Speaker 5: on league right now. So I agree with Brian. Until
- 14:37Speaker 5: you can come at least remotely close to winning in
- 14:39Speaker 5: the pocket, it's hard to establish yourself as the guy
- 14:46Speaker 5: feels like he's going. He has a long way to go,
- 14:48Speaker 5: but the next five or six games for that franchise.
- 14:55Speaker 5: We were talking about Trevor earlier, they need to think
- 14:58Speaker 5: him on the field for six games, figure something out.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Yeah, to be fair, that's the exact same reason why
- 15:02Speaker 4: you want Trevor on the field, right, But in his case,
- 15:05Speaker 4: you need to see exactly where he's at so you
- 15:08Speaker 4: can decide whether there's got to be a quarterback in
- 15:10Speaker 4: your future or whether you take this incredibly gifted young
- 15:14Speaker 4: man but not polished passer and keep going with him.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Yeah. I was surprised earlier frankly that they didn't just
- 15:21Speaker 5: stick with him, because you've got to figure that out
- 15:24Speaker 5: in his case, considering he's had so few games in
- 15:26Speaker 5: his career.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I think another team that we know probably has already
- 15:29Speaker 2: decided they want to get a quarterback is the Tennessee Titans.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Will Levis has been back for a couple of games now.
- 15:34Speaker 2: They weren't able to get a win over the Vikings
- 15:36Speaker 2: of Vikings swept the AFC South, But yeah, I don't
- 15:41Speaker 2: know where they're going to go. I guess I mean
- 15:42Speaker 2: coming in with a new head coach and they didn't
- 15:44Speaker 2: pick Levis, So that wasn't their guy necessarily to begin with.
- 15:47Speaker 2: But now to see that they're going to be in
- 15:49Speaker 2: a similar situation where they're looking for another quarterback.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Well, and I mean Shdur Sanders is sitting right there
- 15:55Speaker 4: at the at the top of the draft, and I
- 15:57Speaker 4: believe Carson beck is going to be a top pick
- 15:59Speaker 4: as well. Well maybe not you know, top five, but
- 16:02Speaker 4: up there because he's got a huge arm. If you're
- 16:04Speaker 4: Brian Callahan, you get your choice. You want the pocket
- 16:06Speaker 4: passer or you want the mobile guy who can can
- 16:09Speaker 4: on the run throw the ball sixty yards on a dart.
- 16:12Speaker 4: If you're the Titans, you leave all your options open.
- 16:15Speaker 5: Yeah, and it does feel very much like Okay, came in,
- 16:20Speaker 5: had a look six games left. Maybe Will Levis can
- 16:24Speaker 5: still save that situation for him. Stranger things have happened.
- 16:28Speaker 5: But you know, it's funny you assume things about quarterbacks
- 16:33Speaker 5: in this league and off seasons, and there was a
- 16:36Speaker 5: lot of talk at some point that this was a
- 16:39Speaker 5: quarterback centric division. Now you've still got a lot of
- 16:43Speaker 5: guys with some proven.
- 16:44Speaker 2: It do The Texans were able to get a win
- 16:47Speaker 2: over the Cowboys, who I think are three and seven
- 16:49Speaker 2: at this point. So also I don't know the exact numbers,
- 16:53Speaker 2: but there's like seven teams that are three and seven
- 16:55Speaker 2: are worse this year. So it feels like unfortunately, misery
- 16:58Speaker 2: likes company. There's a lot of us out there with
- 17:00Speaker 2: this right now, and the Texans haven't. They obviously have
- 17:05Speaker 2: a lot of talent on their team, but they haven't
- 17:06Speaker 2: been playing great this year.
- 17:07Speaker 1: It's just the rest of the division is not good.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Just when I watched them, do you run the ball?
- 17:12Speaker 5: Well?
- 17:12Speaker 4: I mean they certainly did on Monday night, right, but
- 17:17Speaker 4: when we saw them, of course, Mixing didn't play. They
- 17:19Speaker 4: weren't as committed to the running game.
- 17:21Speaker 2: C J.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Stroud I think has impressive arm talent, but without an
- 17:26Speaker 4: Ego Collins, they weren't as good passing the ball. So
- 17:29Speaker 4: I think they're still trying to figure out their identity.
- 17:31Speaker 4: But that quarterback is he's fun to watch.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Yeah, he's fun to watch. I think it a little
- 17:38Speaker 5: bit of a situation like Trevor, where still trying to
- 17:41Speaker 5: figure out exactly what CJ is going to be for
- 17:43Speaker 5: the long term. He was magnificent, magnificent as a rookie,
- 17:47Speaker 5: very good this year, but still some I think trying
- 17:51Speaker 5: to figure out exactly what he is, how depend on
- 17:54Speaker 5: is isy on guys around him. He's the franchise guy,
- 17:58Speaker 5: no question, but where he's gonna fit and how franchise
- 18:04Speaker 5: is he's going to be. I think that's what he's
- 18:08Speaker 5: determining now as the league gets a better grip on
- 18:11Speaker 5: what he is and how to defend him.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Well, they've won some close games this year, which has
- 18:14Speaker 4: been the difference, and that's why they're seven and three
- 18:16Speaker 4: and running away with the division at this point.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely, stay with us.
- 18:20Speaker 2: We're gonna talk to you about what's coming up the
- 18:21Speaker 2: rest of the bye week and when we'll see you again.

- 18:34Speaker 1: Zip Chair is furniture for fans.
- 18:38Speaker 6: I think you gotta be really, really careful when you
- 18:41Speaker 6: start pointing fingers at certain people. It's a dangerous thing
- 18:45Speaker 6: and I'm not gonna do that. Not doing it, not
- 18:50Speaker 6: right now, because that's as a head coach in this
- 18:54Speaker 6: league that's going through what we're going through. You're pointing
- 18:59Speaker 6: a finger, and if it's going to be pointed. It
- 19:01Speaker 6: needs to be pointed at me, start with me, right.
- 19:04Speaker 1: So that's enough on that, No significant changes.
- 19:11Speaker 2: We're going into the bye week. We are expecting to
- 19:13Speaker 2: come back. We have six more games this year. Brian,
- 19:16Speaker 2: what are you hopeful to see change wise games?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Well?
- 19:20Speaker 3: I just got to comment.
- 19:21Speaker 4: I really like a coach, a head coach who will
- 19:25Speaker 4: stand there and say, point the finger at me, stand
- 19:28Speaker 4: up guy. I've seen coaches fire guys that they're close
- 19:31Speaker 4: to before and know how difficult it is, and I
- 19:34Speaker 4: just admire him standing up and doing it.
- 19:36Speaker 3: What am I hoping to see change?
- 19:37Speaker 4: I'm hoping to see this team come out and win
- 19:41Speaker 4: a close game, right.
- 19:43Speaker 3: I mean they haven't done it. I don't know how that.
- 19:45Speaker 4: I don't know whether that's throwing the ball down field more,
- 19:48Speaker 4: playing a different coverage on the back end on defense.
- 19:50Speaker 4: I mean that there are smarter football people than me
- 19:52Speaker 4: that can make that decision. But come out and beat
- 19:55Speaker 4: the Texans, win a close game and see if that
- 19:59Speaker 4: doesn't sparkle little momentum here.
- 20:00Speaker 3: It's too little, too late for most people. I get that.
- 20:03Speaker 4: But we've been telling bad stories for eleven weeks. Nine
- 20:07Speaker 4: of the eleven stories We've told have been this, right,
- 20:10Speaker 4: let's have some fun the last seven weeks of the season.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Yeah, same. I mean, it's it's very conceivable they could
- 20:16Speaker 5: beat the Texans. This is a league where that kind
- 20:18Speaker 5: of thing happens, and they matched up well against them
- 20:22Speaker 5: in the first game this year. So like, see Trevor
- 20:26Speaker 5: get back if he's good to go and have a
- 20:30Speaker 5: little life. I don't know at the end of the
- 20:32Speaker 5: season will bring, but you can certainly have some positives
- 20:38Speaker 5: and some you know, ray of light in the last
- 20:42Speaker 5: six weeks in what feels really dark right now.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Bye week coming at the perfect time for all of us.
- 20:48Speaker 2: We hope you enjoy your week away, rest up, and
- 20:51Speaker 2: get ready. We will be back on Monday morning to
- 20:53Speaker 2: talk Jaguars football, extends Vitaly
