A Connecticut man, Ryland Roy, just got convicted for slamming into a police officer on the Coventry Bike Path in 2024—after allegedly fleeing the scene. Facing serious charges including felony assault with a dangerous weapon, he pleaded nolo contendere, avoiding an admission of guilt but still accepting the conviction.
