- 0:00Speaker 1: This is Kiss Breakfast.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Nick Jonas, who's obviously one third of the Jonas brothers,
- 0:05Speaker 2: married to Priyanka Chopra. He's revealed that he missed out
- 0:09Speaker 2: on an iconic role because he bombed the audition. Now
- 0:12Speaker 2: that role is Christoph from the Disney movie Frozen. Before
- 0:16Speaker 2: you laugh, that movie was so big that he would
- 0:19Speaker 2: have missed out on a lot a lot of mine.
- 0:21Speaker 3: But he can do better than that.
- 0:23Speaker 1: He's not in that many movies.
- 0:24Speaker 2: He had like a minor role in Jimanji and other
- 0:27Speaker 2: than that, I haven't seen him in anything else really,
- 0:29Speaker 2: Like he's mostly known for his music. But yeah, all
- 0:32Speaker 2: parents listening have seen Frozen. He's of course the love
- 0:35Speaker 2: interest of Princess Anna. Yes, someone on the screen is
- 0:39Speaker 2: trying to tell me he's in Camp Rock. No one cares,
- 0:42Speaker 2: thank you, Chelsea. And yeah, so anyway, Jonathan Groff ended
- 0:46Speaker 2: up getting the role. But Nick explains what happened during
- 0:49Speaker 2: his audition and why it was such a disaster.
- 0:52Speaker 3: My audition for Frozen, what m I went in for
- 0:56Speaker 3: Christoph for Christoph, and I went in and they said, Okay,
- 1:00Speaker 3: what are you going to be singing today?
- 1:01Speaker 1: I said, Oh, I don't know what do you mean
- 1:04Speaker 1: you don't know? They're like, do you have your sheet music?
- 1:06Speaker 1: I said no, No one told me I had. Okay,
- 1:09Speaker 1: let's and so I just said, can you play something
- 1:11Speaker 1: from I don't know what I said some missal and
- 1:13Speaker 1: I balmed the audition. It's terrible.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, like that's the thing, though, you got
- 1:17Speaker 3: like one moment to pull it off, right.
- 1:19Speaker 2: That'd be so much pressure. But it's the same as
- 1:22Speaker 2: a job interview. I am so bad at job interviews
- 1:25Speaker 2: because I think I put too much pressure on myself
- 1:27Speaker 2: that normally I could talk underwater with a mouthful of marble.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I know, I cannot, Like it's like I can't string
- 1:32Speaker 2: sentences together.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Try to remember when we interviewed you back away put
- 1:38Speaker 3: in you.
- 1:39Speaker 1: You called me and then I said hello, and you go,
- 1:42Speaker 1: I know you.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I remember you said that because we're from the same
- 1:45Speaker 2: area and yeah, we had mutual friends.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Well, I was always going to hire you then, didn't
- 1:49Speaker 3: matter if you're crap, just because we're.
- 1:50Speaker 1: From the same area.
- 1:52Speaker 3: I always hire someone you know from the area.
- 1:54Speaker 1: The lesson in this, always hire someone from the area.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Also, Jamie Fox, he's got two kids from previous relationships.
- 2:00Speaker 2: One of his daughters is thirty two, the other one's seventeen.
- 2:04Speaker 2: He's currently expecting his third child with his much younger girlfriend.
- 2:07Speaker 2: So Jamie is fifty eight. His girlfriend's thirty one, younger
- 2:11Speaker 2: than his eldest daughter. I just in cased into the math.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Eight fifty eight, she's thirty one. But he did say
- 2:17Speaker 2: he had fears about coming at dad, becoming a dad
- 2:20Speaker 2: again later in life, he said, being my age, I
- 2:22Speaker 2: was a little on the fence, he said, but then
- 2:25Speaker 2: I ran into al Pacino a few weeks a few
- 2:26Speaker 2: months ago. Sorry, and it's fine if you don't know
- 2:28Speaker 2: al Pacino. Welcome to baby at eighty three.
- 2:31Speaker 3: That's too old, even fifty eight?
- 2:33Speaker 1: Well, I want to know, mike e you're forty five.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Oh, piss off, mate, you do this every time, funny
- 2:38Speaker 2: because you get so cut.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Yeah and bluddy you're with three.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Not Wikipedia, what's the other one?
- 2:42Speaker 1: Google a eyes Gemini. Yeah, it's done wrong. I said
- 2:45Speaker 1: you were fifty Yeah? Wrong? Yeah?
- 2:47Speaker 3: What was the question though?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Were passed? So, Jimmy, so whatever age you are, forty two?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Is that correct?
- 2:52Speaker 3: Sure?
- 2:52Speaker 1: Why not forty three?
- 2:54Speaker 3: Got forty five?
- 2:54Speaker 2: I can tell you that, Okay, Whatever the point is
- 2:56Speaker 2: at what age are you going to say, maybe I've
- 2:58Speaker 2: missed my window and I'm a little bit old. Because
- 3:00Speaker 2: it's men can have kids for I mean, our patuna
- 3:03Speaker 2: was eighty three. Like, it's not the same as women.
- 3:05Speaker 2: You don't have a biological clock. But it's the argument
- 3:08Speaker 2: of your kids may be fatherless for a large period
- 3:11Speaker 2: of their life if you're too old. And also are
- 3:14Speaker 2: you fit enough to keep up with a young child
- 3:16Speaker 2: when you're a sixty or eighty or.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Seventy year old man, Maybe like fifty five that you
- 3:23Speaker 3: cut off. Maybe, but you know.
- 3:26Speaker 2: That's crazy that women our whole lives in the back
- 3:30Speaker 2: of our mind, we're just like, oh no, you're counting
- 3:32Speaker 2: down in the back of your head. Trust me, you're
- 3:35Speaker 2: always going up. Well, I've only got seven years left.
- 3:37Speaker 2: And then you do the math and you're like, if
- 3:39Speaker 2: I meet a guy, we date for a year, we
- 3:40Speaker 2: might get married, and then you've got nine months of pregnancy.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I'll be this age when I give But like we're
- 3:45Speaker 2: always doing that. It does not matter for you.
- 3:48Speaker 3: No, no, I mean you could do it at ninety,
- 3:50Speaker 3: but that's stupid. Yeah, I'm going to go with fifty five.
- 3:52Speaker 3: But then I don't think my girlfriend would want to
- 3:54Speaker 3: wait that long.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Sean, you've got a second child on the way. When
- 3:56Speaker 2: are you going to like a two when you're done
- 3:58Speaker 2: or you think, oh.
- 3:59Speaker 1: We might go through would just so the second one goes,
- 4:01Speaker 1: But you know what you're having, boy or girl. No,
- 4:04Speaker 1: it's going to be a surprise.
- 4:05Speaker 2: One of the great surprises in life. Yeah, two boys,
- 4:09Speaker 2: you might try for a.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Girl or maybe. Yeah, I think it's going to be
- 4:12Speaker 1: three regardless. I think that's what Maddi's saying.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Oh okay, then you're doing what's two wants?
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think I have thought about this before
- 4:21Speaker 2: before I had kids, and I thought, yeah, probably mid
- 4:23Speaker 2: fifties kind of thing would be to come.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Yeah, guys can do that, isn't it great?
- 4:28Speaker 2: Alright?
- 4:29Speaker 1: How good for you guys,
