- 0:23You began, you lean up? Can you pla me down again?
- 0:27You frank me down? Do come to flow, come to Pat, comes
- 0:32to Mark? Is it just doing? I'm gonna do it good again.
- 0:39I'm gonna go on the way you began. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome.
- 0:46You're listening to the Sports Shock Show. I am the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy.
- 0:50Good morning to you out there listening land. How much uf L have
- 0:55you watched? Go ahead, raise your hand, raise hand, Raise your
- 1:00hand exactly like I thought. Nobody's really raising their hand, especially in this
- 1:04studio. And no surprise, UFL. I'm sorry. I keep reminding my
- 1:14Saturday it'd be going by. This is how you be explaining it. See
- 1:18what I'm trying to explain. Your words get all crossed over. You know,
- 1:22Saturday, I'll be waking up, playing on, tuning in and then
- 1:27they get by so quick and by the time I know it, I missed
- 1:34it. Each I like when I forget to pick up the kids. Man,
- 1:38and then it was like six thirty. I got confused the UFL,
- 1:45which it's just one of those things I have said here. I love football,
- 1:52I love the competition. I love to watch it, and it's season.
- 1:57That's all I do. Friday for high school, Saturday for college Sunday,
- 2:05and half the other weekdays for NFL. And then I enjoyed my break.
- 2:13I really do enjoy your break. I've used the example before. If
- 2:17you're ever gone to any kind of especially like a Bobby Q contest, and
- 2:24you try and they give you an instructions and they tell you please, from
- 2:30the beginning to the end, make sure between each and every bite you either
- 2:36have a saltine or a grape. If not, your palate will get satisfied
- 2:43and all the dishes will taste the same. So you sit there and you
- 2:49try to. They almost shouldn't tell you because now you're trying to see test
- 2:54what they're saying, No, man, no, not my taste. I'm
- 3:00good on the great not my taste, bud. And then if they're not
- 3:04true by the time, if it's twenty competitors in that group and each one
- 3:12has to bring you a box, I guarantee you by box nine. If
- 3:19you're being real honest with yourself, from nine to twenty, you could differentiate
- 3:25between one through eight byte nine to twenty without doing what the instructor said,
- 3:36taste the same. Your palette has now adjusted it thinks that everything tastes the
- 3:42same. I said all that to say with the UFL, this is why
- 3:45these leagues don't last. They try to put them in certain cities. But
- 3:52between the like I said, between the what is it, seriously, five
- 3:59days a football doing football season? If you really love football, you can
- 4:06get you a solid five day, five whole day. That's work. That's
- 4:11that's a workball. It's a work week for football. If you get you
- 4:15a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, you really no question.
- 4:19You really can get solid days and you as the season goes on,
- 4:24you can get you some Tuesday night action and some of those small conferences,
- 4:30yeah, some of them small. You'll you'll catch a Southern Miss game on
- 4:33hey hey, hey see see we was just saying Southern Miss. I said.
- 4:39I literally rolled over on a Tuesday night thinking I'm watching a replay,
- 4:42like what Southern Miss doing playing Louisiana Monrote, but Southern miss was just standing
- 4:47in the corner drinking a soda, and you done went over there and jumped
- 4:50on them. So Rock, I'm praying for you all the rest of the
- 4:54owners. I do. Like I said, I'm so happy that y'all did
- 4:58collaborate and stuff that idea that two leagues can exist. I'm quite sure there's
- 5:02some guys that will be able to and keep incorporating and trying to make it
- 5:08the spring league, the spring ball, the feeder system of the NFL.
- 5:13I think that's the only way you're going to be able to exist, because
- 5:16even guys who love football, your two three weekends in the UFL. I
- 5:24know they got two weekends in the play three games. That's what I'm saying.
- 5:28And I have caught zero action. And really, if you just want
- 5:32to be completely honest, I only know there's a team in Birmingham. Correct.
- 5:41Yes, I don't know where the other eight teams are. Particularly I
- 5:45can guess where they probably could be, but I'm not sure where they are.
- 5:50Like that, like that I could just win, I could you know,
- 5:55understanding sports, I know they probably got something in Texas, so you
- 5:58maybe San Antonio has a tea or so they tried to feed them into places.
- 6:02How mean it is eight or ten? See that that you think and
- 6:08see nothing is definitive about any And I can't completely say I can't raise my
- 6:15hand. I can give it a church finger because I watched maybe seven minutes
- 6:19and it was Birmingham was playing, and I was thinking, like, don't
- 6:25they play every single game? But uh, we talked about the w NBA
- 6:29ego and their unwillingness to move their schedule, and they were putting coming up
- 6:33against the big boys. You know, you shouldn't need to be on this
- 6:35night if the w NBA's ego makes them what what kind of ego you got
- 6:43to have to just force feed us extra football when when obviously we in this
- 6:47room, no, don't nobody want to watch it? Surely these people know
- 6:50that. Well, you're just trying to get those people who really only like
- 6:56football. Yeah, there are people who in sports only really like a particular
- 7:00sport, meaning that here and there they're catch up with sports, but really
- 7:04they just do baseball, or they just do hockey. You or you you
- 7:09get people even with football. Some people only do college football. They don't
- 7:13really watch pro like that to be able or vice versa. They all in
- 7:18on Sundays watch very little college, so, you know, and sometimes I
- 7:25explain the dollar gets cut, you know, with these ticket prices and time
- 7:30and effort to get the places, your dollars sometimes don't get to be broken
- 7:35down. I can't get to the Georgia Bulldog, Georgia Tech, Georgia State,
- 7:45and the Falcons, plus my grandson or my daughters. I mean,
- 7:50yeah, she's here's a cheerleader. I gotta go to that. I gotta
- 7:55ride. You can't get it all in. So that really some of what
- 8:00it is. But the UFL is going on. I just want to give
- 8:03a shout out to Rock because I know he's trying to give it to you.
- 8:07But this is why it finds itself out of business and you act like
- 8:11you didn't see it coming. If it's had three games and three gentlemen on
- 8:16this show right here? Who likes sports? Just it is so off your
- 8:22radar that you forget to even tune into it. I don't know who plays
- 8:30on it. I'm quite sure there's some famous names that if I turned on
- 8:33a game, but I don't know who is leading these teams and AJ mccerron
- 8:39is a that's the only one I know, and I think a further indictment
- 8:43would be And when I did tune in after about seven minutes, I was
- 8:48like, Okay, because you've been quit. I've had I should have ate
- 8:56a great, I should great because this taste so bland. Now I'm good,
- 9:03Thanks guys. The Weekly call in show King Charles has decided to fold
- 9:11up their tent. The show with Charles Barkley and Gail King has after six
- 9:18months, will be ending. Gentlemen, we talked about this show when it
- 9:24was conceived. I from the jump didn't think it was going to work,
- 9:33especially in this format. Not a surprise to me that it didn't make it
- 9:39a full year. Not based on the characters. People love Gail King,
- 9:45people love Charles Barkley, but I think in the arenas that they are in
- 9:50as we just talk about the UFL, people are quenched already with the amount
- 9:56of Gail King, Charles Barklay. You get another hour of it, right
- 10:05right. I've had I've had you on Good Morning America, Gale. I've
- 10:09had Charles on T and t UH basketball coverage and done good commercials, Yeah,
- 10:18commercials, everything that they already do, and then we're gonna talk about
- 10:22something you not already talked about for another hour. It's hard to for talk
- 10:30shows that are in like those primetime hours to even to break through anymore.
- 10:37There have been a lot of shows, talk shows like this that are in
- 10:39that like early evening time slot that that just don't last. And it might
- 10:48not even be the like the format or the or or anything that it's it's
- 10:52more of we were doing other stuff where like the families having dinner, or
- 11:00we're at the kids game, or you know, there's the new TV show
- 11:05that's coming on and I don't have to catch it right now. Some of
- 11:11those shows were huge and big because if I don't catch it right now,
- 11:16I'm not going to hear that information right And that's that's not the world of
- 11:20TV and television anymore. Especially as the day goes on. People have their
- 11:26one or two shows they want to catch right at the time that it starts,
- 11:31and everything else is the fragments. They want, the highlights, they
- 11:35want the little ticker at the bottom. Other than that they don't need.
- 11:39And as I said, you had that on top of these two people already
- 11:43have successful outlets that they bring to you already. By the time you've heard
- 11:50Charles do T and T two three times a week, and then watch the
- 11:54commercial with him on and then read a quote from some story I catch on
- 12:00Thursday. I'm Charles down. At that point, it's like listening to a
- 12:05song on a radio. You start feeling for that artist, right because I
- 12:09know this song will be dead in three weeks at the rate you're playing it.
- 12:15Yeah, I don't wave it already five minutes. It's gonna be fast.
- 12:18Turned is all in three weeks. It'll be an elevator in two weeks,
- 12:22and we'll be back with more than a sports Shocks show right after this

- 15:15at a price you can afford. No, no, no, no,
- 15:16Now it's time to present the Jock of the Day on the Sports Jock Show's
- 15:22taking it to a completely different level this year, where we highlight an appolyte
- 15:26that has taken their game to the next level. Snick's silver cleaning sho gotta
- 15:35mean in the Civilary Rap Bullham, you gag Boodle right, zab like Zavkolom,
- 15:43every member whom seem is a shooter, sight like a woomb No whoop
- 15:46shooters, Swat Buddha Swiss in the Philly a good tumor don't reach silly baby.
- 15:52One war Shock Show, this war Shock, Wayne Candy. We are
- 15:56a week away from the l Draft twenty twenty four. For all of you
- 16:06that just cannot get enough of draft, it will come to you in a
- 16:11three day format, cause you know, I ain't gonna even sit here and
- 16:15try to go with that one comanche. I don't know why it takes three
- 16:19days, but for some reason the NFL cannot get enough of the money they
- 16:26make through selling ads and extending it. I thought the two days was a
- 16:32proper time, and now you're making players wait all the way to a third
- 16:36day to get rid of their anxiety. Remember there are guys still sitting there.
- 16:42They start Thursday night with everybody else, and now you're telling them it
- 16:48used to be a two day process. First and second round was the first
- 16:52day and all of the other five rounds were the next day. Now it's
- 16:57extended version of the draft. It's this is uh television. It's the TV
- 17:07show by moving because it was but your kids on Saturday, when it was
- 17:11on Saturday afternoon. It was on Sunday when it when it started, Well,
- 17:17I got drafted on a Sunday, Okay, so it would be a
- 17:19Sunday. I've seen it where it was started on Saturday and then the other
- 17:23rounds are on Sunday. But now they now the first round only is on
- 17:30Thursday. Correct, So moving it back it's just too it's for But that's
- 17:37that's the thing I'm saying. Sometimes we keep trying to milk the money and
- 17:41we lose the essence, right, right, You just keep trying to milk.
- 17:45There is a point where then it just becomes yeah, because I don't
- 17:49even need I just wait till the paper comes out, right, because what
- 17:52happens on Thursday as the audience, and if you were going to do it
- 17:56in one day, I would have said and watched. I got a lot
- 17:59of things to do. I don't have it come back in three days.
- 18:02I don't have time to be checking to see what time are you gonna start
- 18:06on the third day, what round you could have just gat you think you're
- 18:11winning, but you've actually extended it too far that you've pressed my love.
- 18:19If you don't love me, don't call me. And now your phone not
- 18:22bringing you. See what I'm saying, I think, and I think part
- 18:26of it is probably on Thursday night, the ad cost are phenomenal. For
- 18:33thirty seconds of ad space is probably almost equivalent to the Super Bowl. By
- 18:38night three, you can get some bargain ad space, but we're gonna sell
- 18:41it still, And that's what I agree with you. Sports. It just
- 18:45seems like we're milking the desire to place ads in the middle of the action
- 18:53so much that you're diminishing the impact of the action as a whole. And
- 18:59you have to grasp that. After the first three rounds, you get to
- 19:07people that very small amounts of people even know, so the guy a lot
- 19:18of times, as we know, the people you know are higher round picks.
- 19:22Sure, there are popular players that have fallen to late rounds respectfully,
- 19:30but typically after the first three rounds, you start losing contact with who that
- 19:37person. They start drafting guys from out of Toledo. You didn't watch any
- 19:41Toledo game. That's not your uncle, son's cousin, right, that's just
- 19:48some guy from Toledo. So I'm already most likely not going to watch the
- 19:53third day in this technological age because after my team gets drafted or the player
- 20:03I like gets drafted. Now I'm just updating on the phone. I can
- 20:07go with Joe, you might as well. You have to start to me,
- 20:10you got to start factoring that in, Like maybe we need to force
- 20:12feed it to them so they'll watch all day and to try to think they're
- 20:18just gonna keep coming back on a weekend, you know, to watch and
- 20:22start hearing names they've never heard even play. But the draft over a three
- 20:27day process. Caleb Williams is still predicted to be the number one pick to
- 20:33the Chicago Bears. A lot of quarterbacks in this draft, JJ McCarthy.
- 20:41Some people expect one of those top ten teams to gamble, and I don't
- 20:45think it's a gamble to take JJ McCarthy out of Michigan. If you have
- 20:49a veteran, if you have somebody already on there that you can get a
- 20:53year or two out of. I don't see where everybody's with the gamble.
- 20:59That's just my philosophy. I believe that all any quarterback you need, the
- 21:04plan needs to be not to have to start them day one. Well,
- 21:08and I was gonna say, Sports Show, do you think that that's the
- 21:11only glitch in that philosophy is most teams aren't looking to draft a quarterback high,
- 21:22a high round draft pick in the first round, and then let him
- 21:26sit for a couple of years. I'lle justin fields, we're gonna draft you
- 21:30and then you got to get out there and do something. So a lot
- 21:33of times that it would make great sense to do that, but that's not
- 21:41And I'll go this far with you, bick Kinny, I'm not really looking
- 21:45to draft anyone and play them start them game one, right, right,
- 21:51Anybody I draft around game four or five, I'm gonna slide them into the
- 21:57starting lineup, but I'm going to give them that first block of games to
- 22:03get their beat wet. Right. They might play a lot, they might
- 22:07end the game, but I'm going to try to just I'm gonna try to
- 22:11build my team and let them be an add on then trying to force it
- 22:15to them, because one of the biggest thing you're trying to gain when you
- 22:18leave college to go to pro is confident. Yes, so I put you
- 22:23start you at corner. Your first four games, you're trying to guard Jamar
- 22:30Chase, aj Brown, Debo, Samuel Well, about week six you ain't
- 22:34got you don't even coming on. I'm trying hard. I'm really I'm really
- 22:38trying hard, but I'm getting that look from the family when I come through
- 22:41the door, like, man, you need some lighter sneakers. You need
- 22:48maybe you ought to do strength and conditioning. If you people love to use
- 22:51that, Oh you gotta learn on the job. And I'm like, yes,
- 22:52there's some guys who was able to go through that and exceled into the
- 22:56Hall of Fame. And there's some guys who went through that same format and
- 23:00three years later you don't know where they are because they never could get their
- 23:04confidence back. But that guy that you typically can just kind of ease in
- 23:08there so he can get a little you know, realize, oh, these
- 23:14guys are bigger, faster, stronger. I'm gonna have to and then maybe
- 23:18about week six let him fly sneaking me and to go to when wide out
- 23:23burn him. They go, oh, I ain't need none to do it.
- 23:26We'll be back more to sports Jock show right after this Township lecture.

- 27:04well. We have a couple of games tomorrow night for the play in,
- 27:11with Chicago defeating Atlanta. They are now going to take on the Miami Heat,
- 27:21the Miami Heat in Chicago doing battle in Miami. The Sixers are moving
- 27:26on to play the Knicks. The Sixers now have the seventh spot, the
- 27:30Knicks have the second spot. With the loss, Atlanta gets to go home
- 27:37with Atlanta only. Being a guy who is a season ticket holder goes to
- 27:41all the games live here. I would have loved when they decided to bring
- 27:48Trey Young back. And I know this is unpopular with how people see sports,
- 27:52especially in the NBA, but I thought Trey, for the amount of
- 27:56time he was out, should have been coming off the bench unless that hand
- 28:04was one hundred percent. Well. If it was one hundred percent, well
- 28:08then sure. And when I say one hundred percent, well it means that
- 28:12you're out there without that cast on it. Other than that, your mindset
- 28:17should have been we're gonna keep going. Remember they had won about seven eight
- 28:21games in a row and beat Boston twice, had taken Miami to a double
- 28:26overtime, had won some games with trade absence. I would have seen Tray
- 28:33evolve off the bench because he had been out for six seven weeks. Not
- 28:37saying that is the issue with the team Atlanta. Jalen Johnson was out as
- 28:42well. Who's been one of the bright spots for them. It was on
- 28:45the road. It's just one of those things looking at that game and how
- 28:49much is that chemistry because they kind of went back to that just waiting to
- 28:55see what Trail do things and when he was out, that's not that they
- 28:59didn't have that out, but they lost. The season is over for the
- 29:02Hawks and now Chicago flies down to Miami. Jimmy Butler looks like he's gonna
- 29:08have a MRI on his knee. He heard it early in the game,
- 29:14but the tough guy that he is, he played through the rest of the
- 29:18game. They came up short against the seventy six Ers. The seventy six
- 29:23Ers is one of those teams that you just don't really, to me want
- 29:27to see with a healthy Joel a Bebe because very few teams have an answer
- 29:33on what to do with him in that size that he brings. But the
- 29:37Sixers will go on to take on the Knicks. The Knicks have had great
- 29:41success against the Sixers this year, so a lot of motivations for them.
- 29:47But before all that can start, we have to have the last play in
- 29:51game, last two play in games, which is Chicago, Miami, and
- 29:56then on the other side in the West, the Lakers on two Tuesday defeated
- 30:00the Pelicans. Zion Williamson for at least one game, seems like he had
- 30:06had enough of people talking about him, got real aggressive, scored forty points,
- 30:14but with about three or four minutes left in the game, it looked
- 30:17like he tweaked and it looks like a hamstring injury. At first I thought
- 30:22it was a quad So maybe this is the most games he's played in his
- 30:30career, so he's coming around. I think they played seventy one games this
- 30:37year, and somebody taken how many years. This was his fourth year.
- 30:41This is year five, year five seventy one, and so that totals his
- 30:47in the time he's been the NBA. That total he's played total number of
- 30:49games about what seventy eight games? No close? Close? Okay, okay?
- 30:56Eighty two games two game seventy one. He shows you and once again,
- 31:03uh layer in the game, exerting a lot of energy, big man
- 31:07who scores like his conditioning for you to know, and when someone like me
- 31:12is talking about him and losing weight and conditioning, it's his style, right.
- 31:18If he was three d Dennis Scott shooting threes from the corner as his
- 31:23way of scoring, then then you wouldn't be so much about But his style
- 31:29is an explosive two guard a Michael Jordan's style of scoring. That's it.
- 31:36You know, it's off the dribble is jumping over you, it's going he's
- 31:41going straight at you. Yeah, yeah, Dennis Scott did it. Used
- 31:44to be fat boy from the corner, Fluffy, but another three he used
- 31:51to get He's gonna give you eighteen twenty Fluffy, gonna gave it. Run't
- 31:55a lot of effort in now, I ain't finna go. We ain't fin
- 31:57a bumping bang. Not to not with all of this, so zion out
- 32:02for the game as the Sacramento Kings roll into town, Sacramento knocking Golden State
- 32:10outs Steph Curry, Clay Thompson zero for ten in that game, and you
- 32:16could just see Klay Thompson the entire season seems like, I don't know whether
- 32:22it was the trade always the last couple of years where it was trade rumors.
- 32:24I don't know if you know what his personal life that that has nothing
- 32:29to do with us, but he just seemed distracted, right and for him
- 32:34from just watching. To me, he's one of those guys. He doesn't
- 32:37want to hear the trade. He's one of those guys he seems like either
- 32:44trade me or not trade me. Right, But I don't like the the
- 32:47yo yo. I'm gonna play. I'm gonna play. My feelings are gonna
- 32:52show in my play about how you seem to be yo yoing me up and
- 32:58down. You don't want me, right, you don't want me. I'm
- 33:00an unfollowing y'all don't So why would I go out here and score? Do
- 33:04you think it was him like pressing like, well, he got hurt.
- 33:08That was now five years ago, and he's basically spent the last five years
- 33:13trying to get back to that all splash brother. Yeah, and it just
- 33:17like they'll be flashes like he had a couple of fifty point games, but
- 33:22it's like he's it's like he's trying to he's trying really hard to get back
- 33:27to that while getting older. Correct, So it's a it seems like that's
- 33:34something you can't actually physically do, and I might have to accept that I'm
- 33:37never going to get back to the splash brother. I was going to say,
- 33:42is that version of the splash brother right. I think sometimes advancement comes
- 33:46through acceptance. So just the realization that the fact that I'm even able to
- 33:52play at this level is a thing. Maybe that's where I need to Most
- 33:58people wouldn't be able to do what I'm doing with the injuries that I've had.
- 34:01So okay, maybe this is the next phase of my splash brother ing,
- 34:07you know what I mean. So yeah, maybe I'm just a great
- 34:12defensive guy that can knock down some shots. Maybe that's where I have to
- 34:16go. I have to stop trying to be an offensive machine and recap.
- 34:21But he also shows that his personality is not the whole. Are we gonna
- 34:29trade him by the deadline or not? Some guys you can play that game
- 34:32and it doesn't affect them. They're gonna give you what they have for that's
- 34:37their mentality. Clay seems like he doesn't like that either. Trade me.
- 34:42He wouldn't be mad if you traded him, But he doesn't like this whole
- 34:45on the board, off the ball, he really liked skin about it.
- 34:49You know what I'm saying. He's a believe he's a free He's a free
- 34:52agent now is the Warriors? They say they want him back. It may
- 34:58not be the you know, the mega deal he have had before, but
- 35:00they said they want to bring him back. I think they should bring it
- 35:05back in more of a six man role, and they had him doing that
- 35:08that at one point this year they did and he was doing pretty well now
- 35:13doing that with him being where he is physically in his career, he is
- 35:19a free agent. Who's gonna pick up that tab and say, I mean,
- 35:24I'm sure somebody could use him, but what he's contractually probably and they're
- 35:30the NBA is obligated for him to be getting at this point. Is there
- 35:35someone well, he's only what thirty two right there? Thirty three? Yeah,
- 35:40thirty three? Yeah, I think somebody he can get a lot of
- 35:43interest based on how much money he's seeking. And that's that's the thing.
- 35:47If he's if he's locked into that, you got to give me a minimum
- 35:51amount. Hold where there's the there's the your team is just me away from
- 35:59a title, and then there is your team just needs to sell tickets.
- 36:04So you always get that team that will overpay you. So someone like the
- 36:07Charlotte Hornets will swoop in and overpay just because we're gonna get We're gonna get
- 36:14in on the back end. Something like that. I would like here in
- 36:17Atlanta playing small forward that will be awesome, or like command you said that
- 36:22veteran leadership. Somebody that will come off the bench is not gonna affect your
- 36:25number your minutes. It's gonna look like because you're coming off the bench,
- 36:30but you're gonna get the same thirty four minutes. It's just coming off the
- 36:32bench. Then he can be light skin tray from the future. Trade Calm
- 36:37down, Calm down. So we will see how that works for them in
- 36:44that game. Heading Sacramento, heading to New Orleans to see if the Kings,
- 36:52and remember the Kings and Golden State had much better records last year where
- 36:58they were able to secure play all that try to get in through the play
- 37:00in and those two games are tomorrow night. We're gonna go to break.
- 37:06When we come back, we're gonna talk about being banned for life, John
- 37:10tay Porter. As far as I know, in the NBA, and maybe
- 37:15have to look through all sports. I've never heard of being banned from life
- 37:21doing your career, not in sports, but we've all been banned from something,
- 37:24right and the White Sox back in the old the Black Right. As
- 37:30far as gamble, there there's a there's a couple other Okay, yeah,
- 37:35okay. Well John tay Porter from the Toronto Raptors Commissioner has banned for life.
- 37:43We'll talk about that on the other side of the break. More to

- 41:07I'll sing even welk back to this what shock shoe? This wy shock
- 41:14Wayne again. D Team USA for the twenty twenty four Olympics has been announcer
- 41:20Grant Hill, who's running the deal this year for USA Basketball twelve NBA players.
- 41:29We hit on it a little bit last week when we were talking about
- 41:32a lot of the great players in our country are international superstars. They are
- 41:38from somewhere Luka, Doncics, and so on and so and forth. We
- 41:44did not feel good at the World Championships with our team, where we not
- 41:47get a gold medal. I thought the US myself, I'd like that we
- 41:53send younger NBA players. Maybe that's because in my youth the team used to
- 42:01be full of college players amateurs, and until the Dream Team, there was
- 42:08no pros on the team. So it gave that sense of really believing that
- 42:15what you were doing had to be more historical, yes, than sending Michael
- 42:21Jordan. That was not like the Dream Team did nothing but what you would
- 42:28imagine they would do, they should have done. That was the only thing.
- 42:31The Dream Team went to the Olympics wins what's expectations. It was an
- 42:37over correction in a way because the nineteen eighty eighteen won the bronze medal playing
- 42:44against pro pretty much pro Russian players, Like, no, we can't have
- 42:50that again, So let's get the twelve best players in the world in our
- 42:53league. And they're winning every game by one hundred. Well, now once
- 42:59again we have feels the roster or Grant Hill is filled the roster with some
- 43:02old heads to try to secure the championship. The only thing with these guys
- 43:09with a twelve man team, a command maybe you can find out is how
- 43:14do you do replacement if someone gets hurt. You got Lebron James who's thirty
- 43:20nine years old, Steph Curry who's like thirty six, Kevin Durant who's like
- 43:24thirty five, Kawhi Leonard it's about thirty three thirty four, but he's always
- 43:30injured. Joela Beebe, who've we've seen this season miss a chunk of the
- 43:35season due to injury. So hey, this sounded like a reunion game.
- 43:39And I thought was from Cameroon and played for the French. Well he's never
- 43:46played internationally, okay. And since he became a US citizen that made him
- 43:52eligible. It's kind of like with a Keema Lajawan playing on the Olympic team.
- 43:59He became a US citizens so he can he can play for U.
- 44:04Okay. Well, that seems to be the five starters. And then they
- 44:07went and dug up Anthony Davis as I said, people who are known to
- 44:13be hurt, I don't know. Can we fly in, say one of
- 44:16those guys get hurt. What happens once the Olympics starts? Not one kind
- 44:21of free what happens once it starts, Anthony Day, You're just down to
- 44:25those twelve and so one goes down, so you're left with eleven eleven.
- 44:32We'd have to we'd have to examine that and investigate a little bit more because
- 44:37what are the other options, Like you said, fly in another professional player,
- 44:40And I just want to know if it's locked. You know, how
- 44:44the NBA a player gets hurt, I can go get somebody bring on to
- 44:46the roster. R. I wonder how it works in the Olympics. And
- 44:52we're going to have to check that out. Yeah, okay, but we
- 44:55have Anthony Edwards, I mean Anthony Davis bam out of from the Heat,
- 45:00Drew Holiday from the Celtics, Jason Tatum from the Celtics, Devin Booker,
- 45:07Tyrese Halliburton from the Pacers, and man from Minnesota. That is the team,
- 45:15the twelve man team as it is. I Grant, if I'm working
- 45:21with Granted in the NBA and the USA Basketball and all that. I think
- 45:24we need to put a thirty in under. I think if we can't create
- 45:29a team of our NBA players from the US that's thirty and under and we
- 45:34still go win, then we defeated already. And that's what I want to
- 45:37do. That's a large pool of people for a league that lets nineteen year
- 45:42old yes into the league. So from nineteen to thirty years old, eleven
- 45:46years of NBA player, we can't find one Olympic caliber player. I wanted
- 45:52to ask you, do you think that, like we said with the Dream
- 45:55Team, they went to the Olympics within expectations. You are supposed to win
- 46:00this with this team if they go. Now, the European game, all
- 46:05of the other games in the world have advanced. If this team goes to
- 46:08the Olympics and doesn't bring home the goal, what are we doing here?
- 46:14How will we be seen worldwide as at athletic superpower? App Actually, well,
- 46:23if we send our best in people's opinion and the bill gets wrong,
- 46:29it will just sign It will just signal that basketball has grown to those lengths
- 46:38internationally. I think with a lot of people, the one thing that other
- 46:44countries seem to have against US is we are just putting our team together.
- 46:50You look at these guys here, they won't even be a team because half
- 46:53of these guys are more in the playoffs. So we're talking about they will
- 47:00have maybe a month of practice by the time everybody's out of the playoffs to
- 47:07to to be able to get together. Whether he's international team for a lot
- 47:10of them, some of them will add some NBA players, that is true.
- 47:15But you probably the core of them are practicing right now and we just
- 47:20wait on Lucas level, the other level of us. Every day we're running.
- 47:24Yeah, we're running two a days now and we're just waiting get here.
- 47:30And and he's got a stand in now like somebody's actually playing as Luca
- 47:35on our team right now. Yeah, this is what Luca going. This
- 47:38is what Luca does. Yeah. So and and because the caliber players that
- 47:45they're sending have the profiles in America that follow them, do you think they're
- 47:51taking this seriously? Do you think they're running together when they can and staying
- 47:57conditioned because we got to go over here and win the old Look do you
- 48:00think is man, I'm going to Paris for the summer. Know these guys
- 48:04when you're talking about Lebron Steph KD. They've been playing together on the team
- 48:07USA before they've won goal I think before Kawhi their business. This would be
- 48:13Joela Bee's first international, so he's definitely gonna be trying to take home a
- 48:16goal. This suff in his in this way, man is trying to take
- 48:20and take the torch over for the league. Jason Tatum is supposed to face.
- 48:23I think you got a good bam out of buy you one of those
- 48:29professional guys that Drew Holliday. Anthony Davis went focused, which means when around
- 48:36this kind of group, you're gonna get a focus Anthony Davis because he's gonna
- 48:40want to show he is the man amongst all these That's when you seem to
- 48:45get the best of him when the other he has to look around and see
- 48:49all the rest of the super friends right right now. I'm saddening he don't
- 48:53remember these hit flock. Yeah, That's what I'm saying. He Batman be
- 48:58sitting there like, I'm just rich and I think I can fly. I
- 49:01got an actual power, you know, I'm a fly. We'll be back

- 52:07a lot of stories centered around Bill Belichick. It's just so funny how we
- 52:14want to figure and find something about that Patriots dynasty that we can just rip
- 52:20at other than the dominance of it, and that kind of dominance for my
- 52:28knowledge of the sport, for my knowledge of how business work, for that
- 52:31kind of success. Sure, there's gonna be some brooding. It's gonna be
- 52:37some backstabbing. That's how empires are built. I don't know. I never
- 52:43thought it would be komba y'ah to dominate for twenty years. There's a lot
- 52:49of you know, different personalities, people reaching different apexes trying to deal with
- 52:54each other. I'm reading reports that Robert Krafft warned falcons On or Arthur Blank
- 53:00that Bill Belichick failed a lot of the interview process. Why wouldn't he.
- 53:08Bill Belichick was fifty basically years old when he took the Patriot's job. That's
- 53:17how long he's seventy two now, that's the last time he interviewed for a
- 53:23job. So imagine yourself last time you interviewed for a job twenty two,
- 53:30twenty three years ago. You would probably failed the modern interview right as well.

- 54:37about, well, how are you gonna handle this guy or that guy or
- 54:40my quarterback? And he's giving you Bill Belichick, you're putting an X by

- 55:05What did you shoot him up so he gets through the game, Oh y'all
- 55:13yeah. And he's thinking that he's killing this interview. Yeah, I told
- 55:16him I'm willing to do whatever it takes. And they trying to file charges
- 55:20on him now, and he's out there like, man, I thought I
- 55:22was giving him the right answer. So I people, I'm like, yeah,
- 55:25Bill Belichick, because you know, he went in an interview really with
- 55:30the success we're talking about arguably, and that argument is short because you're only
- 55:37gonna be able to bring up two or three names to put in the mix
- 55:39to argue against him being right the best NFL coach ever. That's gonna be
- 55:47a short about two or three other people you can ask with Belichick, and
- 55:52then that's gonna be it. So he's gonna walk in the room and probably
- 55:57three of those four people passed away. Yeah, so it's like one other
- 56:00guy that's still alive, right, that can be put in with the conversation
- 56:05with me. Uh but you know, and that's where he walked in,
- 56:09probably like are y'all hiring me or not? Right? And if you want
- 56:14me, I'm gonna need total control. All that you walking down on the
- 56:17field and chump chum flying the quarterback with you to your hunting lounge. Stuff
- 56:24that ain't the Belichick. Well he walked in, he literally there talking about
- 56:29himself and the third person that ain't the Belichick. Yeah, he came straight
- 56:32off the street in flip flops to NASA, like, yeah, so y'all
- 56:36be flying rockets and stuff. I think I want to think I want to
- 56:38get one of those. Let's got eight Super Bowl rings. He walked in
- 56:43wearing all of them, right, That's what I mean. I walked in
- 56:46as Bill Belichick R eight rings and he's explaining them ring number three. We
- 56:52shot the guy up the whole season. What do you think it takes.
- 56:55I don't know how you guys think we're gonna win. I slept on l
- 56:59T. He's porched the whole year age just to make sure I hear him
- 57:02chipping over me, because I know, because he's coming out if you if
- 57:07you leave him alone for five seconds, you know, Lawrence LT. This
- 57:10is enough to smoke till practice. So when I read these, I'm like,
- 57:15yeah, he probably failed. He's not gonna check those little sensitive boxes.
- 57:21He's gonna go in wanting full control and dictate. We saw this like
- 57:25with the Big Tuna. We saw this with Jimmy Johnson. You see this
- 57:30with you if you went to hire Nick Saban or even if you tried to
- 57:36go dig someone like a Mike chiksski out of right and come back. He
- 57:40Mike want to come back? Yeah, but all y'all gonna have to need
- 57:44to get fired, and then I'm gonna want to hire him and her,
- 57:49and then yeah, I'm gona need for those, and before those they do
- 57:54the same thing. Yeah, for those, and they're gonna be like,
- 57:57you know what, Mike, thank you. They don't want to give up
- 58:00that much power a listener. So if Robert Krafft and knows author blank,
- 58:07he probably knows, mister, you ain't ready to give one of our listeners.
- 58:12Keith Ramsey says, So the Falcons are allergic to winning, but for
- 58:15be a winning is more often the norm. So do you think that?
- 58:22And I know sometimes organizations individuals like to see themselves as holding themselves to a
- 58:28higher standard and being of a higher moral authority. When we won't shoot a
- 58:31guy up to get him through a game, but Bill Belichick sitting there with
- 58:36eight rings just on some a guys. Look, it's a competitive sport and
- 58:40the goal is winning what I want to do. But if I give you
- 58:43this job and the power, none of the success will come as I help
- 58:52with it, right, and every owner don't let them. They want to
- 58:55have some kind of feel that when they walk up to the podium to hold
- 59:00the trophy up, they don't have to hold it up long, but when
- 59:04they do grab it, they want the fans to feel like they did more
- 59:07than just pay the bill. Thanks mister blank right, that they actually put
- 59:13in on it, and putting in is not just the part of the money.
- 59:17Putting in is actually making water water cooler. Talker that you made a
- 59:22decision to bring a particular guy in. He's done everything he can to move
- 59:28the team forward to put us in a winning position. Or you can have
- 59:30an owner like a Jerry Jones has with command you Greg, who wants all
- 59:35the credit. Yes, and that's why he can't win because he wants every
- 59:38piece of the credit of the Super Bowl win. We'll be back with more
- 59:42to Sports Jock Show right after this, going to take you and the Dumb
- 1:00:00Don't Go Away or of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dan videos coming up
- 1:00:06next. And now let's talk about something exciting life insurance. Three quarters of
- 1:00:09Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty
- 1:00:15nine percent actually have life insurance. When I was twenty five, me and
- 1:00:19my wife were just getting started with our family and thought, we live forever
- 1:00:22life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:00:24Will you be leaving benefits or bills? When I was forty with a kid
- 1:00:29in college and bills piling up. I was worried how my family will survive
- 1:00:31without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information
- 1:00:35gives you power and life. Insurance gives your family security no matter what stage
- 1:00:38of life you're in. Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether
- 1:00:42I leave my family with bills or benefits. The answer is easy, whether
- 1:00:45you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a little or a lot,
- 1:00:49all you need is the insurance informant to help you build a foundation of security,
- 1:00:52because without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills.
- 1:00:58Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today benefits or bills dot
- 1:01:02com? That's benefits or bills dot com. Why are interschool elastic sports called
- 1:01:08the last classroom of the day because they teach students important life lessons like teamwork,
- 1:01:13accountability, and perseverance. School sports are so much more than a game.
- 1:01:17They're about developing the whole person. That's why they're an essential part of
- 1:01:22every student's education. Encourage your student to participate in the last classroom of the
- 1:01:27day interscholastic sports. In Georgia, this message presented by the GHSA and the
- 1:01:32Georgia Athletic Directors Association. Enough here, enough why Shai and we hold the
- 1:01:45world ransom for Wayne. Excuse me while I whip this out show broadcasting live
- 1:01:52and it led this. This is the sports Jock Ship with Wayne Dandy.
- 1:02:00You big up? Can you play? Men? Do come to come to
- 1:02:07concast, come to podcas I'm do it. I'm gonna go on the way.
- 1:02:20Welcome back to this one Shock show. I'm this wat Shock Wainge Candy.
- 1:02:23Good morning. Tell you out there listening, Lamb, Big Kenny commanding
- 1:02:27Greg in the building with me this morning. We are a week away from
- 1:02:31the NFL Draft next Thursday. Remember to catch you some of that UFL football
- 1:02:38u f L football this weekend, Big Kenny, Commanchai, I'll be giving
- 1:02:42out a test of some of the games. I'm gonna watch a couple of
- 1:02:46minutes. You said there's a Memphis show boats as according to Jared, one
- 1:02:52of our listeners, he said, we got the bad producer following them in
- 1:02:54field. I don't really know if they exist. It sounds a u FL
- 1:02:58a little you know sound. That was a USFL team. They brought some
- 1:03:02of the old names back. That's one of them. The UFL now,
- 1:03:07so that is on your calendar as well. NBA playoffs start officially Saturn Day.
- 1:03:15Friday will be the two play in games. The last two teams will
- 1:03:20be cast for the eighth position. The winner of the Kings versus the Pelicans
- 1:03:27right now, look like Zion Williamson will be out, but whoever wins that
- 1:03:30game will take on OKAC and on the other side with a Jimmy Butler with
- 1:03:37the Heat looks like he might have a little neat issue. But Nick,
- 1:03:43I mean the Heat are always winning teams that don't really mean much for one
- 1:03:46game. They will rally the troops for one game and somebody will score an
- 1:03:51extra point and win a game. But they're taking on the Chicago Bulls.
- 1:03:55The winner of that game on Friday will take on the Boston Celtics on Sunday.
- 1:04:03So that's when the official Saturday is when the official play in I mean
- 1:04:08playoffs start and the play ins are over before we go any further, because
- 1:04:13I just when I read things, I'm always trying to figure out I've never
- 1:04:16agreed with it. I've said it before. I don't like these where I
- 1:04:21can go write movies and books without the person giving me the right to that
- 1:04:31unauthorized version. I don't believe in that, especially for someone who's alive.
- 1:04:36How do you get to go write a book, a story, a movie
- 1:04:42and just decide what I said? Yes in these moments like how it went
- 1:04:48and went down? You had a whole five minute scene in the weight room
- 1:04:54with me talking to Big Kenny, and you were not there. How did
- 1:04:57you put those words together that that's what he said? So I never understood
- 1:05:01that. And there's a writer coming out with the House of Beckham about Victoria
- 1:05:10and David Beckham and their lives is called the House of Beckham, Money,
- 1:05:15Sex, and Power. All I will say to that, unless you're gonna
- 1:05:21find and write something where Victoria or David did something criminal, I couldn't imagine
- 1:05:31what you're going to tell me that I wouldn't already suspect. First, you
- 1:05:38take one of the most famous soccer players that ever lived, ever lived,
- 1:05:45that ever lived now And remember I said famous. I don't watch enough soccer
- 1:05:49to say that he's the greatest player, but I do know as far as
- 1:05:53fame, he's up there with theymar Pele And just because that ain't got nothing
- 1:06:00to do with the championship he won in the actual sport that made a lot
- 1:06:04of money and one championship. Good looking man. Yeah, and you go
- 1:06:09get a young lady looking young lady who was in a group called a spice
- 1:06:15girl. Which one was she she was spooky Spice, which one was posh
- 1:06:18spice spot posh spike okay? Who okay took over the world for about eighteen
- 1:06:25months, pet And what you want to really really wrong with you? Really?
- 1:06:28And you put them together for twenty years twenty oh year, let them
- 1:06:31make babies. What you think you're gonna tell me about them? Oh?
- 1:06:35Man? You know when they start off, it was rose on the bed,
- 1:06:40and then you know, two years later they had got bored, so
- 1:06:44they started releasing butterflies. What are you gonna tell me that two rich,
- 1:06:49young, successful people who got together and they tattooed. They looked like they
- 1:06:58both put in on a bag all the time. So you know, you
- 1:07:04got different questions. Did they have any green butterflies? You know what I
- 1:07:09mean? So they released butterflies all right where they were they speckled. What
- 1:07:14kind of like you need some people where it would be something you could tell
- 1:07:19me with that they don't exude now and and does like they don't everything you're
- 1:07:25going to tell me in a book called money, Sex, and Power.
- 1:07:28I'm quite sure the spice girl has gone to many restaurants and look to matre
- 1:07:32d in the eye. And I said, Victoria Beckham, for two sir,
- 1:07:41you bet making up? Did you? Did you miss what I noticed?
- 1:07:45A nine hour, nine hour weight right? But I said, Victoria,
- 1:07:49be so you going to put right go push that old lady out of
- 1:07:53her seat. And I want to ask you something. If this is an
- 1:07:56unauthorized release, yes, it says uh from yes, unauthorized right now because
- 1:08:02it's unauthorized because of who they are, we already project onto them certain things.
- 1:08:09So your creative license might be far beyond that just to sell the book.
- 1:08:14Because if all we gonna get is butterflies released in the bedroom, I
- 1:08:17could have guessed that, but you you know, butterflies released with razor blades
- 1:08:23on their wings. You know what I'm saying? That was the plot twist.
- 1:08:27And maybe you're just making that stuff up. And the thing that you
- 1:08:31think might be scandalous could be something that they were cool with. Right,
- 1:08:39you're trying it for your sense ofity, but we don't know. Yeah you
- 1:08:44foind out. Oh he Victoria's dating Matthew McConaughey, and how you know,
- 1:08:48David didn't know what makes you? They might applied it that you know,
- 1:08:56I think that McConaughey is a great looking god d date him a couple of
- 1:09:01days. Yeah, go ahead, babe, let me know what it's like.
- 1:09:08It's ninety eight. Everybody was doing it maybe, so that's all I
- 1:09:14didn't mean to Still, I'm just saying when I see stuff like this,
- 1:09:16because it's like people are so now want to tell something and push somebody in
- 1:09:21a corner. Uh for people, how I look at life very You would
- 1:09:27have to tell me it was some kind of crime, right, And I'm
- 1:09:30not a real crime not They was doing cocaine at the taj Mahull or you
- 1:09:36know about by the Pyramids. I smoked the joint with the pope and you
- 1:09:42know what I mean. Yeah this the Beckham's come on there they got with
- 1:09:45Harry and Meghan and they all went somewhere. Okay that sounds about yeah,
- 1:09:55you know what I'm saying. It was just but yeah, we expected that.
- 1:09:58That's what I sound. Come down the pipeline, we talked about John
- 1:10:02tay Porter. We were talking about the lifetime ban that has been placed on
- 1:10:08him from allegations of gambling. In this instant, Adam silver Is announced that
- 1:10:19in the Discovery by investigation that ultimately they found enough evidence even to the fact
- 1:10:30that in one game they felt like John tay Porter bet about his performance and
- 1:10:39he even placed the bet, checked out of the game, said he was
- 1:10:44sick in this reference, just one of many which would have made money,
- 1:10:53but for some inconsistencies in the story, they were allowed to the twenty four
- 1:10:59year old. And that's it's a sad part. I guess for a young
- 1:11:00man that's only that age to be banned from well at least the NBA.
- 1:11:06I guess he could go over international league and play, but from the NBA
- 1:11:12or lifetime ban. And this just sparks what everybody's fearful of with this whole
- 1:11:20idea of how pro teams in our country has embraced gambling the number one thing
- 1:11:28they seem to be against for one hundred years. Over last handful of years
- 1:11:34there have completely embraced and kind of blindly almost like oh no, surely no
- 1:11:44one would do well no, Lebron might not because he's making fifty million a
- 1:11:48year. But that twelfth player who's on a ten day contract, ten days,
- 1:11:56ten whole days, hoping to get a four year deal, had somebody
- 1:12:01contact him and said, I made you two million dollars in them games.
- 1:12:08In them ten games, you can make two million extra dollars. That's all
- 1:12:11I need you to do. They're paying you two hundred thousand for the ten
- 1:12:14games. I can get you two million. Now, that's all I need
- 1:12:17you to do. Stick with me now. I don't need you to take
- 1:12:20no hammer to nobody's leg, like your hearty. I just need you to
- 1:12:27not score ten points. I'm saying you can score you up to nine.
- 1:12:31I don't want you to feel limited. I don't want you to feel boxed
- 1:12:34in. You can score up to nine points, but you're gonna have to
- 1:12:39do that in about twelve minutes, because I'm saying you ain't gonna play over
- 1:12:43ten. So if you can score nine points in about ten minutes, that's
- 1:12:46cool. But otherwise, nothing over twelve points, nothing over ten minutes.
- 1:12:53And now this is this brings the rubber to the road where I asked the
- 1:12:57question again and I've asked it before. Is it time for us to start
- 1:13:00at least being willing to ask the question. Is the game rigged? No?
- 1:13:10I don't think that. I think you need a bigger sample size.
- 1:13:15There's always one negative, right in a group, right, It's impossible not
- 1:13:24to Well, Okay, now now I'm saying, for the sake of argument,
- 1:13:27there's one negative in a group. But now we done found a group.
- 1:13:30Let's call the group the NBA. We done found an official guilty of
- 1:13:34it. Now we got a player guilty of it. We know some fans
- 1:13:39come to the games and influence players with the things that they say in the
- 1:13:42threats that they make to the players and the coaches. We haven't caught a
- 1:13:45coach doing it yet. But that sample group has several subgroups in it,
- 1:13:50and half to a third of them involved. So where are we sitting still?
- 1:14:00Well, you still have to be. If you asked the doctor what's
- 1:14:02the success rate and he said that ninety eight percent of you live, right,
- 1:14:06you go into the surgery with my ninety eight percent face on right,
- 1:14:12right, I ain't going in there with man, I'm gonna be that two
- 1:14:14percent? What I'll be two percent? Life ain't never worked out for me,
- 1:14:18Bro, I'm gonna be the two percent. We'll be back more to
- 1:14:20the sports doc show right out this work around, way back in the Doctor
- 1:14:30the part sound it's the real good lot of puplicity stone buckets, like if
- 1:14:34the men in the movie don't go Awayne Moore of the Sports John Hill with
- 1:14:41Wayne Dandy Yes coming up next. Have you noticed bad behavior has become normalized
- 1:14:47at interscholastic athletic events. Some fan seem angry the las civility toward one another.
- 1:14:55Some even get aggressive and unruly. Time out. What is going on?
- 1:15:01This has to stop. Let's not forget school sports aren't just about winning,
- 1:15:06and they're definitely not an excuse to take your frustrations out on the official
- 1:15:11or the opponent. They're about teaching lessons like perseverance, respect, and empathy
- 1:15:17so students can learn and grow as people, not just as players. We
- 1:15:23all have a role to play in setting a good example for our students and
- 1:15:26teaching them these important values. So fans, it's time to step up your
- 1:15:30game and behave positively at interscholastic athletic events in Georgia. This message presented by
- 1:15:36the GHSA and the Georgia Athletic Directors Association. This message is for Karina.

- 1:21:04Yes, that Nelly is hot in her Nelly not a lot of people
- 1:21:10in attendance to this concert that Nelly put on down at the University of Florida.
- 1:21:18And reasonably you can understand when you look at when Nelly was basically hot
- 1:21:30and where he is now. His biggest time of his career was two thousand,
- 1:21:35which was twenty four years ago. And if you go by college,
- 1:21:39the majority of college students are between the ages of eighteen and twenty two.
- 1:21:43Yes, so to get to twenty four, you usually are in grad school.
- 1:21:48Yes, So the grad school students at the University of Florida was just
- 1:21:53being born when hot in her was at the top of the charts. So
- 1:21:58easily that group at that university, University of Florida, which is in Gainesville,
- 1:22:05could not be big Nelly fans to interrupt their night right to go see
- 1:22:11him right, stop what they're doing, about what they're doing school wise,
- 1:22:15or any you know, or spring breakout. I don't know when the concert.
- 1:22:18Did it say when the concert was? The video I'm seeing was from
- 1:22:25three days ago, so this was some time last week. Is there a
- 1:22:28way you could chair with the viewers see if they can. It's only like
- 1:22:32a six second Yeah, it's I mean, and it's a painful six seconds
- 1:22:38too. As a Nelly fan, it was a painful six seconds to watch,
- 1:22:41Like wow, But it's the reality of the entertainment business. At some
- 1:22:45point, the fans that you garnered when you became popular have like you aged
- 1:22:55and so the demographic that's buying music and all of that and concerts have probably
- 1:23:01not been for me. You got to go out and do your legacy act
- 1:23:05thing and I think Nelly is well aware of that now. But I was
- 1:23:12wondering who made the decision. This is university to Florida. Most schools have
- 1:23:16a sac which student activities council and they vote on who they wanted to see.
- 1:23:21If you don't know him, how would you have gotten him to the
- 1:23:24university? So was this administration? It could have been even to the point
- 1:23:29of whoever is the event coordinator? Looking around, it's like that Swag and
- 1:23:38Serf song. Right, No matter what arena you go to at some point
- 1:23:43they do a dedication to a crowd, do the swag and serving everybody.
- 1:23:46Anticipated Now you haven't heard the song in twenty years, but in that environment,
- 1:23:51So maybe one of like hot in Here is a song they recognized the
- 1:23:58student body seems to move to right and thought, oh, we're gonna yeah,
- 1:24:01we're gonna get hot in here. And it didn't hit, right,
- 1:24:04it didn't hit like it didn't hit. Or maybe Nellie and his people have
- 1:24:09come up to bring him back out, trying to introduce him to younger people.
- 1:24:13So you got to roll the dice. Yeah, let's see, let's
- 1:24:15see how it goes. Yeah, no different. Yeah, I don't want
- 1:24:17to go on like a reunion tour. Well, I'm only going to fans
- 1:24:23that like me. I'm trying to build up a new fan base and I
- 1:24:27need to introduce myself to a new audience. So maybe I'll take this gamble
- 1:24:31to see how that'll work. I'm quite sure it's not a new tactic.
- 1:24:38We just don't always hear about it, right, So Nelly down at the
- 1:24:43University of Florida didn't have a lot of people come out. Will that keep
- 1:24:46it going? I know he's supposed to go out on tour here this year,
- 1:24:51I think opening up for Mary J. Blige. Right, yeah,
- 1:24:54it's on the screen, which would be more of his time period. The
- 1:25:00Nelly fans will come out to those Why are you laughing, Big Kennedy now,
- 1:25:02because now Commanding Greg has the actual image on the screen and it is
- 1:25:10literally an empty me and Nelly selling the same amount of tickets at University of
- 1:25:15Florida. You see what I'm saying. That's and that's surprising to me.
- 1:25:18Really, yeah, that's all the things we just discussed. Well, no,
- 1:25:23I'm saying I understand the reality of the business. But to see Nelly
- 1:25:27in that break, because you're still from right right down down baby, when
- 1:25:33I thought he would never make it and didn't, he was mister seventeen million
- 1:25:38albums sold and you and you know, we kind of think that's always gonna
- 1:25:43last, but it doesn't. Well, I remember, on a personal note,
- 1:25:46as we go to break, I guess my daughter might have been about
- 1:25:49ten eleven years old. She didn't know that Queen Latifa used to rap made
- 1:25:57you feel old, didn't it. No, he realized that that's how fast
- 1:26:00time I knew as a rapper, she knew as an actress. So based
- 1:26:06on when you picked up a person, A person in twenty twenty four wouldn't
- 1:26:10know Nelly for doing anything, right? You you talking about she a rapper?
- 1:26:15Your daughter thinking his key doesn't kick damn oolo. Nice with me.
- 1:26:23It's like snake guys, I break guys, Sit back and watch my cake.
- 1:26:26Miss. It's all about the business, is true. That'd be the
- 1:26:29model ran out of ammal and started throwing bottles. Don't bowl, Wayne Born

- 1:29:17Shocks showing the Sports Shocks Wing getting good morning till you out there listening land
- 1:29:21comand you. Greg mcckinney in the studio with me. We left off talking
- 1:29:26about how just sometimes you don't know right generations. People can be doing one
- 1:29:31thing at one time and by the time you hear about them, you don't
- 1:29:35even know their history. I know there was a TV show called Hunter back
- 1:29:41in the mid eighties until the early nineties. Fred Dreyer was the star.
- 1:29:48He played the police cop Hunter. Well, it was I was about a
- 1:29:58rookie when I found doubt that Fred Hunter. I mean Fred Dryer played in
- 1:30:03the NFL for twelve thirteen years. He did had over one hundred sacks,
- 1:30:10yeah in his career, which means that he was balling. Yeah. Said
- 1:30:15He's still the only player to record two safeties in a game. That's what
- 1:30:20I'm saying. But if you didn't. But he was done with his football
- 1:30:25career by nineteen eighty from we're in there and then he went on to do
- 1:30:29the Hunter series, and which was a very good series. Was he was
- 1:30:33a tough dude. It says when you all this is just a reference to
- 1:30:38Nelly and Merlin, Nelly hasn't really kept hing going in his career. He
- 1:30:45hasn't. He didn't phase into TV to keep his face in the count.
- 1:30:50He had a small reality series. That's why I said he didn't really he
- 1:30:56didn't really respectfully respect Yeah, that just was that was playing on his popularity,
- 1:31:01popularity from an old group of people, not the younger group of people.
- 1:31:08So even Marlin Osen, who was on the Little House Prairie for someone
- 1:31:13our age, we didn't know because all we knew he was just the neighbor
- 1:31:16who drove a little cart. And then you find out the big Burley neighbor
- 1:31:21to Paul, Paul big Burley sidekick buddy. Let's who it was that was
- 1:31:26Paul's type man. But I'm saying, then you find out he was part
- 1:31:29of a group called the Fearsome Forsome right, that Rick Havoc on the football
- 1:31:34field that nobody wanted to see at all out here him Deacon Jones, Fred
- 1:31:41Dry and Rosie Grier Smoked another actor Smoke all of them who wants something,
- 1:31:47raise your hand, who likes some out here? Today we're sacking quarterbacks.
- 1:31:53I'm gonna smoke free diets. I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to. So
- 1:31:56Rosie went into acting. Fred had his own teeth up Merlin and Dee,
- 1:32:01I think he had Jones. Yeah, he was always Brady Bunch. He
- 1:32:04had slapped too many producers. No, but he ended up on the bat
- 1:32:06A couple of little yeah, a couple of active little instints. And then
- 1:32:12they would ask him to the train guy. Yeah, they want him to
- 1:32:15come out of trailer too soon, and he beat somebody up there. We're
- 1:32:16gonna have to just let you go. Every time the two times I saw
- 1:32:19he was always doing someth kind of in jail scene. Well, on the
- 1:32:24Brady Bunch he was, wasn't he? On the Glee Club? Deacon Jones
- 1:32:28Dicon Jones was the first man that ever saw smoke on a commercial flight.
- 1:32:31Right, He's the first man I ever saw smoking cigarette on us And it
- 1:32:35was still against the roof. And just wasn't gonna say nothing to him,
- 1:32:39you know what I'm saying, like, hey, hey, just let it
- 1:32:41go. It's only one cigarette. The guys used to still around the facility.
- 1:32:45It'll be out in a minute. It'll be out in a minute.
- 1:32:47Just give him some leverage. Yeah, Deacon Jones was Lawrence Taylor before Lawrence
- 1:32:53Lawrence Taylor. Lawrence Taylor when he was a little boy. Get what I'm
- 1:32:57saying. Where Lawrence Taylor was a little boy, he was like, man,
- 1:33:00i'mna be i'ma grow up and be Deacon John Dee Threats are real,
- 1:33:03right, So there wasn't a threat. It was a promise. Deacon told
- 1:33:09you something. He wasn't threatening you. I'm gonna get you. You knew
- 1:33:11he was gonna get you. You're gonna find somewhere. We're gonna find some
- 1:33:14way. Deacon Jones, great defensive line, all of them. You're right,
- 1:33:18command you. They all went into some decent I'm talking about where you
- 1:33:21didn't know. That's why. That's why we owned the subject. Where you
- 1:33:25didn't know until somebody told you. They weren't just actors. Jared Lloyd says
- 1:33:29that he was also Dickon. Jones was on marriage with Children a couple of
- 1:33:31times. Okay, yeah, that he played Al's uh by buddy, Yeah
- 1:33:39yeah, okay, Oh deeck man, Juju Smith Schuster. I read a
- 1:33:43report that he got caught with some of that exposure. They had put a
- 1:33:49Snapchat picture of him exposing himself. Is that true? Yeah, and we've
- 1:33:55all done that no stuff. Yeah, we even got making on Snapchat?
- 1:34:00Am I right back on Snapchat? No? Come on, you got to
- 1:34:03have Snapchat even getting Yeah? Really not really, I'm saying you can.
- 1:34:09You can share it. You can share it from your other platform, allegedly.
- 1:34:13It's from what I heard, you could share. They say you can
- 1:34:16share naked pictures on Snapchat, is what they've been telling me. The story
- 1:34:19says that I guess he took it down instantly. Uh, if it ever,
- 1:34:24I don't know if it was true or not. I was reading it
- 1:34:26said he was getting a lot of Yeah, criticism, hate mail, that
- 1:34:30he was in the car looks like he might have been with a lady friend
- 1:34:35and mistakenly uploaded a picture of him exposing himself. And those those are the
- 1:34:45a lot of times if you're not paying attention. These modern telephone devices,
- 1:34:49smartphones have capabilities options to go from the camera that you just took the picture
- 1:34:58on to uploading it to the world instantly with the tap of a thumb,
- 1:35:02which sometimes can be accidental. You think you doing something for just you and
- 1:35:08your lady, and now the FCC want to know what's going on with you
- 1:35:14and your right you know, your distribution of pornography and you were just trying
- 1:35:19to do something private. Call it the DiDia. Hey, look now,
- 1:35:27if they do bring that out, we're gonna have to get a cut on
- 1:35:29that. Now. We name that for you, the no Didiac. The
- 1:35:31Great Blake Griffin has decided to retire after the fourteen seasons. Blake Griffin,
- 1:35:40for you modern youngsters that are watching basketball, he would be the equivalent of
- 1:35:45a Zion Williamson. Yes, great size, huge leaping ability that was often
- 1:35:54injured. It's kind of the same storyline. Blake was about two inches taller,
- 1:36:00but it was the same, you know, not as big. You
- 1:36:02know, well, he was in He was a big body. He wasn't
- 1:36:04like a small guy. But it's been a lot of his career when he
- 1:36:11was on the court, very dominant, but he was always often injured.
- 1:36:14Even made a joke doing his press conference that he had to learn from both
- 1:36:19success and failures. It was one of those screers, like those guys who
- 1:36:25are like super athletic, and they get a lot of their points by you
- 1:36:27know, dunking on people. It seemed like maybe by a year five or
- 1:36:32six, now they're shooting jumpers. They gotta shoot more jumpers now because the
- 1:36:36toll that it's taken on them by trying to run people over. Yet run
- 1:36:43people over the size of I mean, that's what I'm saying. Blake Griffin
- 1:36:45wasn't I would say probably twenty pounds. He was the size that Zion needs
- 1:36:53to move down to. Right, he's about two fifty. Yeah, but
- 1:36:57he wasn't no small man either. And then you're constantly twenty nine inches above
- 1:37:08the rim. Right, that's a lot of landing of weight, and every
- 1:37:15time you jump, your elbow is over the rim. You got to go
- 1:37:17all that distance back down. We'll wear on your ligaments. You have to
- 1:37:23figure out some kind of easy soft game to do something to preserve your years.
- 1:37:29Those explosive players, You're right, Greg, if they don't find a
- 1:37:31second way, they back injuries. Things like that are very subceptive. All
- 1:37:38that landing, you know, and when when you're coming from that high it's
- 1:37:43hard to grab the rim. You grab the rim when you do a rim
- 1:37:47dunk, when you're on elbow and you're coming down to the rim, it's
- 1:37:51hard to ground onto the rim. They got to absorb all that landing.
- 1:37:57Even watching Vince, you can see him those laves men, Carter Hall of
- 1:38:00Famer, those last couple of years, he was just dun't grab the rim
- 1:38:04and let hisself down. Right, if you think about it, your roller
- 1:38:08decks, That's how he would let itself down. Like, man, I
- 1:38:10can't I can't do that. I can't do the landing part, that landing
- 1:38:14and burst of speed back to the other end part, right, the dunk
- 1:38:16part, I got down great, the landing part. I'm just going do.
- 1:38:20Let me go. Don't let me go now, don't let me go.
- 1:38:23It is like a few years in like you're not seeing those highlight dunk
- 1:38:26city boy, they start shooting more threes. Blake thirty five, be thirty
- 1:38:30six this year, says he might, you know, pick up where he
- 1:38:33left off with comedy. He's supposed to be a comedic guy. Yeah,
- 1:38:38I remember when he did some stand up, tried to do some stand up.
- 1:38:42There is Blake Griffin, Jason Jason Kelsey, who's having a heck of
- 1:38:46a off season, just all everywhere. Comanchi says that he lost his Super
- 1:38:51Bowl ring in a pot of chili. Yeah, he was doing an event
- 1:38:58with uh well, this was while filming an episode of his podcast, and
- 1:39:06he lost it in in a tub of chili. Muh it was where they're
- 1:39:12serving beer with the chili. It was. It was do we have to
- 1:39:17ask that question? Because I'm thinking he might not even have to ring on.
- 1:39:24He didn't even know the chili was going to be a part of the
- 1:39:26event. He just went for the beer and was like, oh, they
- 1:39:29got some chili. They had a competition on their show with some college students
- 1:39:34and some some student athletes, and there was a competition with an inflatable pool
- 1:39:41with skyline chili and and and everything you said just makes so much perfect sense
- 1:39:47along with Jason right in context, you just have to say, Jason Kelsey
- 1:39:54ended all of some pools with chili in it, and the Super Bowl ring
- 1:40:00have some college students all gathered together? Make sense? Are you missing as
- 1:40:04a funnel? Yeah, and something like that. Now insert your name into
- 1:40:10it and you own the list with Diddy. You see what I'm saying.
- 1:40:13But Jason Kelsey, Okay, and just keep on going with the rest of
- 1:40:18their day. He sounds so perfect. Some beer, a blow up pool,
- 1:40:24a missing ring, some chili at a at an eighty degree park.
- 1:40:30You want chili at hot day? A hot day plus blow up pool plus
- 1:40:35all of that equals Jason Kelsey, We'll be back more to Sports Shock Show

- 1:45:27member of the Brooklyn Dodgers from back in nineteen fifty three, where he
- 1:45:31won twenty games, four teams strikeouts in the World Series that year. Overachiever,
- 1:45:40as you can see just from them stats, decided he was going to
- 1:45:44log ninety seven years in on you come on, man, it's trying to
- 1:45:49you ever think you get ninety seven to be thinking, like I'm really ready
- 1:45:53to get out of here. Just in the World Series in nineteen fifty three,
- 1:45:58back when they call it the big base all Games. I didn't even
- 1:46:01call the World Series back then. It was just called a really big baseball
- 1:46:05game. And they say, I get the pitching it. And now I'm
- 1:46:09ninety seven and I'm looking forward to clocking out. You know he's ninety seven.
- 1:46:14Yeah, I ain't had no overtime or nothing. Everybody I know is
- 1:46:16gone, been gone ninety seven years. What'll you say? He's talking about
- 1:46:20his seventies like it was young. You're talking to you, sitting around having
- 1:46:25conversations like boy did ninety two. These youngsters getting on my nerves. Mss
- 1:46:32Paula. Keep trying to walk walk next to me, walk next to me,
- 1:46:38eighty nine year old Selven little young Jenimu trying to get out of the
- 1:46:42playoffs, trying the girl gone young my back when I I can't do nothing
- 1:46:47with no cheering. What I look like with you eighty one years old girl,
- 1:46:50I'm ninety seven, gonna arrest me. I get in trouble. He
- 1:46:55don't forgot he ninety seven that it has to be a blessing. So I
- 1:47:00just always get the ninety and up you have. You have total respect from
- 1:47:04someone like me. So ninety two White the herds all ninety seven, Carl
- 1:47:10Erskine and the last surviving member. As far as they know, somebody might
- 1:47:15be somewhere that just accounted for nineteen fifty three. Yeah, they weren't even
- 1:47:19really keeping for. They even got no picture of those people. Everybody don't
- 1:47:26have a picture camera. I had just started. The camera was only being
- 1:47:31used by law enforcement at that time, nineteen fifty three years old. They
- 1:47:36will be putting heart monitors on some of the Olympians. The Olympics are in
- 1:47:44Paris July twenty sixth through August the eleventh, and they will be putting heart
- 1:47:49monitors on loved ones and parents and people who are supporting the athletes in an
- 1:47:57attempt to gauge their level of excitement or anxiety. Yeah. Nothing, this
- 1:48:08nothing gives me anxiety like being monitored. What part of interesting is that to
- 1:48:14me? Creepy weirdo people. We're weirdo society, We're weird. Okay,
- 1:48:19No, I'm serious, the loved ones ones. So you out there playing
- 1:48:26basketball and I'm your uncle. Yeah, you're out there exactly. And you
- 1:48:31want to see if my heart rate gonna go up when my nephew start racing.
- 1:48:38You want to see how nervous I get before my daughter do the little
- 1:48:42pole vault. That's weird. We are creepy people. I'm confused. You
- 1:48:47keep looking over here. You came up with why wouldn't you do that?
- 1:48:53I don't Yeah, I can't help you out either. Man. I just
- 1:48:57said I don't know. I guess you you're asking what I'm saying. We're
- 1:49:01sitting here with you. We don't know, That's what I'm saying. We
- 1:49:05have no idea. Doesn't make sense to us either, And I'm saying,
- 1:49:10how did you even get this to be something that we collectively agreed upon.
- 1:49:15Let's hey, hey, listen, athletes, you got some people you like,
- 1:49:18bring them to us and let us do some experiments with them because you're
- 1:49:23talking to them. Man, I still don't get the end game interview interview
- 1:49:28of the coach of the I don't understand what that's about. How's that enhancing
- 1:49:32the game? I'll tell you how it's not. It gets you into the
- 1:49:38mind of the coach. Okay, and the coaches thing is, I think
- 1:49:44we're doing pretty good. We just need to uh correct some small mistakes and
- 1:49:48we'll be okay. All right, thanks coach uh. And the player is
- 1:49:53well, I think we are. I think we're doing pretty good. We
- 1:49:57need to correct some minding mistakes and we'll be okay. That's it. How
- 1:50:03did that enhance the experience for me? I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:50:08But still I get that two or three times before halftime because we got
- 1:50:12to do it with a coach and a player from each team. And so
- 1:50:16you know, now you didn't because nine hundred questions you asked them before the
- 1:50:20game. That's not sufficing right now. And then we're talking about a sport
- 1:50:28or sports where we've been asking people to not be so involved, don't get
- 1:50:30so closely involved in the sport. Now we want to bring you deeper into
- 1:50:35it and start monitoring your heart rhythms. We're weird. We are weird society.
- 1:50:41Yeah, we need to know how excited you are to see or anxious
- 1:50:44to see your daughter pole vault right or she in the judo competition. I'm
- 1:50:48a little nervous. And they got break dancing this time because you know how
- 1:50:54don't have break dances this year, because we know how that proliferated through the
- 1:50:59world. Back more to Sportstock show right after this winch get their zen inches.
- 1:51:04I've seen a big pitcher. Pitcher probably get twitcher if not burned like
- 1:51:11Furty, don't go away, or of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dantidias
- 1:51:16coming up next. Your kids about the dangers of vaping can be hard.

- 1:52:27time for the school board when we put a spin on life and sports and
- 1:52:31how they intermingle on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy. Won with us
- 1:52:53that's just the snitches. Welcome back to this what shuck shum, this war
- 1:53:00shock Wing Gandy. Good morning to you. As we have spoke and about
- 1:53:05this whole show we've been talking about the playoffs. NBA playoffs start officially on
- 1:53:12Saturday. We have two play in games tomorrow night to round out the sixteen
- 1:53:18teams, with the Heat taking on the Chicago Bulls, excuse me, and
- 1:53:29the Kings taking on the Pelicans in those series and those Zion Williamson expected in
- 1:53:34the Pelican uniform. If Jimmy Butler is in for the heat and I think
- 1:53:43I saw something about Alex Caruso for the Bulls may be a game time decision
- 1:53:49as well. So if you're getting ready to place a bet, John Tay
- 1:53:54Porter, he can play the best now openly. Yeah, fanned for life?
- 1:54:00Yeah. Uh. The Master's ratings were a little low last week.
- 1:54:04We talked about golf before this even happened, because I just get a vibe
- 1:54:12of when I see things reported. Uh, And I think it is a
- 1:54:15lot of as me and Greg was mentioning and YouTube Kenny, just a sense
- 1:54:18of and I don't know that it's the war wit live as much as it
- 1:54:27is. Nobody really seems there's no superhero where where there is no yeah,
- 1:54:33where is the person of the time. It doesn't seem to be that one
- 1:54:40must see as each generation seemed to have, Like we talk about, Arnold
- 1:54:45Palmer was a part of generation must see. Yes, Tiger was part of
- 1:54:51a must see generation at one point. Yes, what's the name is escaping
- 1:54:58me? Right, Greg Norman, Norman, but before him, Jack Nichol,
- 1:55:05Jack Jack. Yeah, So there was those moments where there was someone
- 1:55:10who was kind of the face that drew people regardless of the tournament. And
- 1:55:15now it seems to be a lot of great golfers, but none of them
- 1:55:18have that kind of and maybe it's the thing of they don't want that spotlight,
- 1:55:27or is it that the spotlight's not necessary anymore? Why would I take
- 1:55:30it on? I'm making the money because that's what you know, Golf has
- 1:55:35never really been about the collective as a whole being famous. You had your
- 1:55:42era leading personalities, and the rest were just trying to make a decent living.
- 1:55:47But now we're making a killer of a living and it's great work if
- 1:55:55you can get it. So, I mean, you know, why do
- 1:55:57I have to go out there and be the green jacket guy? I still
- 1:56:02got seven million dollars from my third place, So it's like about not being
- 1:56:10the guy, like they don't want the the title or the theme of being
- 1:56:16the tiger the scrutiny, right, because I was going to say it is
- 1:56:20scrutiny. There used to be a time when Tiger could have been Tiger and
- 1:56:25nobody cared about what he was doing. Then they all watched the King fall.
- 1:56:30He was toppled because of today's sensibilities, and we watched him be maligned
- 1:56:35and vilified because he was doing what golfers thought was their birthright. I'm professional
- 1:56:42golfer, Surely I can have twenty five girlfriends. But we watched that happen
- 1:56:46to him, So I don't know if I want to step out in that
- 1:56:48light. I'm gonna play the back right here, I'm cooling the clubhouse.
- 1:56:53And you see it, and I think you see that in a lot of
- 1:56:55sports now, a lot of major sports, very few people are volunteering or
- 1:57:01pushing their name to be caged in a sense. Right, And we're going
- 1:57:08to drop a cage. And we talk about the NBA, Yes, we
- 1:57:11talk about even the NFL. Who's really trying to be in that cage?
- 1:57:17We keep dropping dropping on Patrick mahone, but he still kind of is dodging,
- 1:57:24dodging baby right right, He's he doesn't give you the full display of
- 1:57:28his life. Right And in the NBA, they keep talking about won't accept
- 1:57:31leadership roles. You know those guys, those guys are no, I'm good,
- 1:57:38go ahead, and and and I think that's the thing even in Major
- 1:57:41League Baseball. Uh, the issues that someone like a Trevor Bauer is going
- 1:57:45through. The young lady that was trying to extort him, even when as
- 1:57:50far as saying she was pregnant try to get a bunch of money out of
- 1:57:55They have indicted her on those charges. But we spent a whole season of
- 1:58:02his name being ripped apart for sexual assault and all those kind of things.
- 1:58:08And now when they do report on him being innocent, it's very little coverage.
- 1:58:19It's very little coverage of that. Now when it was it was hate
- 1:58:21groups and people picketing the Dodgers stadium and all that when they thought it was
- 1:58:27him towards her. But now that and I hate to dispute you, but
- 1:58:30I haven't seen any coverage being innocent. I haven't seen any Like nobody has
- 1:58:36said anything but him. And he keeps trying to tell people, Hey,
- 1:58:41man, you know they say I'm innocent. Yeah, even having indicted her
- 1:58:44for extortion and a couple of million dollars, she was trying to get between
- 1:58:46him and another I think she ran the same scheme, maybe told him and
- 1:58:51another gentleman that he was the father and there was no baby at all,
- 1:58:57right, come to find out, so unlimited transfers h N Cuba has voted
- 1:59:03that basically, you go where you want, when you want, however loan
- 1:59:06you want in college. This might be why we kept saying Nick Saban got
- 1:59:12out. They call that homelessness just they call that vacrancy. I'm coaching,
- 1:59:17investing in you for you to leave tomorrow, tomorrow, so I'm gonna give
- 1:59:24you best of me, yes, and you're gonna go to Kentucky next year
- 1:59:29for more money and not that the best of me wasn't working for you here.
- 1:59:32Oh yeah, you let the conference you SCC and you Steer was like,
- 1:59:41I appreciate you, coach. I'll be playing you next year. Yeah,
- 1:59:45game two of the season. We're playing, y'all. We're playing,
- 1:59:46y'all. What you mean, y'all? I thought we was us And you're
- 1:59:49getting this in a phone call because he already on his way. He in
- 1:59:53the car on the way to Kentucky. The car Kentucky bought inim that Kentucky
- 1:59:57body, because he gave the car to Alabama, got him to his daddy.
- 2:00:00Yeah, and we are a notion. The truth is he will throw
- 2:00:06you to the ocean. It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Jut
- 2:00:12Show with Wayne Kenny. When your designs an ocean agains this mort shot Yes

- 2:00:47appreciate it greatly. Here Big Kenny, Comanche Greg. If you didn't get
- 2:00:50a chance to hear the show, and it's entirety. If you want to
- 2:00:54hear any of the old shows, go to Amazon podcast, Apple podcast,
- 2:00:59a Heart Radio, Spotify, Dzer or Audible and click on and hopefully you
- 2:01:06get your good laugh and some entertainment with the guys this week going into ocean.
- 2:01:13And I had you because when I read this story, I laugh,
- 2:01:15and when you laugh out loud by yourself, whatever happens must have been funny.
- 2:01:23I don't know if you had that kind of moment, but do you
- 2:01:26find yourself just laughing? Yeah, whatever happened was funny, or whatever memory
- 2:01:30cross your mind or whatever you read was funny. And that's what led me
- 2:01:34to this ocean candidate. Great try, but I gotta throw you in the
- 2:01:42ocean. Erica Dessusa vera new nad I know caught on the camera this week
- 2:01:50down in Rio Jay Jonnaro where she rolled her uncle in to the bank trying
- 2:02:00to get a loan for thirty four hundred dollars. Only thing is is the
- 2:02:08uncle was dead man deluxe hustle. He can't testify, he can't testify.
- 2:02:16He ain't gonna damn, he ain't gonna damn. Look, they'll never know.
- 2:02:23How will they know? How will they know? I know it's not
- 2:02:26profession I'm not Yes you are, yes, you are up in the road.
- 2:02:30My dead uncle into the bank. That's hilarious. Why is that not
- 2:02:34funny to you and get a loan. I'm not just gonna rom him in
- 2:02:39the building. I'm not just out touring with my dead uncle. We out
- 2:02:44doing business. Eric carrolla dead uncle into the bank. Even tried to force
- 2:02:49his signature where she held his hand and tried to write his signature on the
- 2:02:56note for the loan. And I have tears in min He was asking,
- 2:03:00Man, I know as a producer, this is this is not professional.
- 2:03:05Deal with it. Deal with blame Erica. We didn't wrote no, we
- 2:03:10didn't wrote no dead man in a bank. We just out here living with
- 2:03:13it. I mean, I don't even know what to say, Erica,
- 2:03:16just just like some thank you. You could thank her, You don't know
- 2:03:21what to say. You could appreciate her brilliance. But if you get a
- 2:03:26chance. I mean, they have the uncle phased out, so you don't
- 2:03:30have to worry about looking at a dead body. But look at the video.
- 2:03:33She she pulls his head up and it looks like alert and he keeps
- 2:03:40slumping off over. I saw the unedited version with the actual uncle in the
- 2:03:44picture, and all I kept thinking before we go is where security. Can
- 2:03:51you imagine the tels? Hey Bobby, come look at this. Come look
- 2:03:54at this. Come look But for that, Erica fuk the up claim.
- 2:04:00You should have got all the board. She should have got all the board.
- 2:04:06I'm killing from the big shinty commanding and this port stop. We hope
- 2:04:11you have a great weekend. We'll see you in the future. Peace, oh Man
