- 1:01Speaker 2: back up. I'm gonna back up like camera one. I
- 1:06Speaker 2: don't think I feel like this makes me look bigger
- 1:10Speaker 2: like but it's okay, though. We're gonna work with it.
- 1:12Speaker 2: We're gonna work with y'all. Just be with the camera.
- 1:16Speaker 2: It's so close. Is it too much in it? It's
- 1:18Speaker 2: too much in my business. At least my face look
- 1:22Speaker 2: look nice. I think you look amazing. Thank you. I
- 1:25Speaker 2: also just I don't know, it's just it's a lot,
- 1:28Speaker 2: but we're we're gonna get through it, y'all. We are
- 1:31Speaker 2: super excited. I look cute? Does a really look cute?
- 1:35Speaker 2: You look cute? If you if you my brother in Christ,
- 1:38Speaker 2: you look handsome with your hands onself, you better be
- 1:42Speaker 2: out here getting Just be looking handsome. Now if you're married,
- 1:46Speaker 2: keep your handsomeness. You know, the folks ain't blind, but
- 1:48Speaker 2: just be mindful. Be mind that's for the cute girls too. Okay, listen,
- 1:53Speaker 2: we are super excited about today. Why are we excited?
- 1:55Speaker 2: That's all right, because we're here and we get to
- 1:58Speaker 2: share another Thursday. What you got? You? You know what?
- 2:01Speaker 2: You are smart? You were smart because the people, the
- 2:05Speaker 2: people like like they've been liking the the content lately.
- 2:10Speaker 2: And then it's not just the content. The people have
- 2:12Speaker 2: been saying, we want to hear from you guys more.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Why do you think that because because of what? Because
- 2:22Speaker 2: they like us a little bit? I think that's a
- 2:25Speaker 2: little bit. But I also think it is because I
- 2:27Speaker 2: think they I think it's just a beautiful testament of
- 2:32Speaker 2: when you get out of the way and just be obedient,
- 2:35Speaker 2: you don't know why or who God is calling you to,
- 2:40Speaker 2: and so we appreciate you guys for showing up in
- 2:42Speaker 2: the comments, like if we read them, just got to
- 2:45Speaker 2: send them to me. No, I don't get the notification sometimes,
- 2:47Speaker 2: so I have to go back and like, look, pray
- 2:50Speaker 2: my strengthen the Lord. But I just appreciate just knowing
- 2:55Speaker 2: because sometimes it's it's it's it's interesting on this side,
- 2:57Speaker 2: like you just don't know what you don't know. So
- 3:01Speaker 2: just to hear that you know, this is all God
- 3:04Speaker 2: you know, and that God is He's getting the glory
- 3:06Speaker 2: and that his word is going forth in Jesus name,
- 3:09Speaker 2: you know. I straight away from trying to be hyper
- 3:13Speaker 2: spiritual is what people would call it, Like I didn't
- 3:16Speaker 2: want this to be a place where the only thing
- 3:19Speaker 2: is what we was talking about scripture and all that stuff.
- 3:23Speaker 2: But shout out to Brianca Hardy, who is our covering
- 3:26Speaker 2: not only for just ask but for the safe space community.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Shout out to our safe space members that are via
- 3:33Speaker 2: pa is via Patreon. Y'all, y'all click on it, you
- 3:36Speaker 2: select the part that you pay for, and then you
- 3:40Speaker 2: get the benefits of being the Safe spaces community. So
- 3:44Speaker 2: but I thank God for her because she she looked
- 3:48Speaker 2: at me and she said, Jessica, I know you don't
- 3:51Speaker 2: like this word, and I'm not even gonna shay his
- 3:53Speaker 2: word with y'all, so we're just gonna say this word.
- 3:56Speaker 2: But I know you don't like this word, but know
- 3:59Speaker 2: that this is what you're doing, and you have to
- 4:02Speaker 2: treat this as God treated the church like. You really
- 4:07Speaker 2: have to treat this podcast as something not just to
- 4:12Speaker 2: be like, oh, we're doing media, and you know, I
- 4:14Speaker 2: thought I was doing that, but I think there was
- 4:16Speaker 2: another mantle that was released when she gave me that word.
- 4:20Speaker 2: She was like, and not only you does a ray
- 4:23Speaker 2: is responsible to There's a responsibility, a requirement rather that
- 4:28Speaker 2: is placed on you when you decide to give God
- 4:31Speaker 2: your full years. Right, because we've been take go through
- 4:35Speaker 2: the take go through the like we didn't experience some things,
- 4:39Speaker 2: and so I'm excited about today because my question to
- 4:45Speaker 2: the audience, our family members today is can God trust you?
- 4:50Speaker 2: Can God trust you? And how that came about was
- 4:55Speaker 2: we're going through this process that y'all about to find
- 4:58Speaker 2: out about next week. I think y'all think you're gonna
- 5:01Speaker 2: find it out about next week. And as we're going
- 5:06Speaker 2: through this process, the Lord started giving me language. I
- 5:09Speaker 2: started doing research regarding what's going on with just as
- 5:12Speaker 2: the podcast. How do we move forward? How do we
- 5:14Speaker 2: continue moving this movement like and not being stagnant and
- 5:21Speaker 2: doing what God wants us to do? And so one
- 5:24Speaker 2: thing he one thing I was, you know, researching but
- 5:27Speaker 2: also talking to George shout out to chat GBT. I
- 5:30Speaker 2: know some people feel some type of way about that,
- 5:32Speaker 2: but listen, I use it. Listen too, And so just
- 5:37Speaker 2: doing some dissecting of just as I was trying to
- 5:45Speaker 2: figure out the language for the audience, right, I was like,
- 5:48Speaker 2: I think I'm missing something here. And one of the
- 5:53Speaker 2: things that it suggested was that the audience were people
- 5:57Speaker 2: interested in God trusting them and that I've been praying
- 6:03Speaker 2: that prayer since I since I released that, and it
- 6:10Speaker 2: just shook me because I was like, Lord, how do
- 6:15Speaker 2: we go from It's one thing to trust you, but
- 6:19Speaker 2: it's another thing to be trusted by God. You think
- 6:23Speaker 2: about David, you think about Abraham, you think about Noah.
- 6:28Speaker 2: They had big callings on their lives and they were
- 6:32Speaker 2: trusted by God. And there's ways that you know that
- 6:36Speaker 2: you're trusted by God. When I sent you that desirade,
- 6:39Speaker 2: What the can God trust me? What was the first
- 6:44Speaker 2: thing that came to mind when when you heard that.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I think kind of like you said, with the responsibility
- 6:51Speaker 2: of a thing, right, we may not know. It may
- 6:54Speaker 2: not be a podcast. It may be a family. It
- 6:57Speaker 2: may be a husband. It maybe a wife, it may
- 6:58Speaker 2: be children, it may be a job promotion, whatever, a car,
- 7:01Speaker 2: a house, whatever that thing is. It's if God has
- 7:04Speaker 2: given it to you, there does come a level of
- 7:07Speaker 2: responsibility to steward it. Well, yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 7:10Speaker 2: And a lot of times the process of the thing
- 7:14Speaker 2: is He's watching to see how you steward this before
- 7:18Speaker 2: he brings you further things that he has, like like
- 7:21Speaker 2: God has give good gifts for us, right, he has
- 7:23Speaker 2: assignments and things like that. But he has to be
- 7:26Speaker 2: able to trust that we're going to steward because when
- 7:28Speaker 2: you when it comes to you know, we think of
- 7:30Speaker 2: a podcast, right, It's most people just like, oh, it's
- 7:33Speaker 2: just a podcast. No, when you think about the people
- 7:36Speaker 2: that are listening, you know what I'm saying, Like, you're
- 7:39Speaker 2: responsible for the things that you release from this podcast, correct, Right,
- 7:43Speaker 2: So if you're releasing negativity, w whether you're releasing positivity,
- 7:48Speaker 2: whether it's the word, whatever it is. You're responsible for
- 7:51Speaker 2: the things that you release, and He's trusting you with
- 7:54Speaker 2: the people that are listening. And so I thought about that,
- 7:57Speaker 2: and I automatically it was just like Wow, Lord, Like
- 8:00Speaker 2: I'm grateful that you trust us enough to be here,
- 8:05Speaker 2: Like we started in one place, but to be here,
- 8:08Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. So I was like, Oh,
- 8:09Speaker 2: it's gonna be good. So it's it's really gonna be good.
- 8:12Speaker 2: And I think that's that has to be a part
- 8:14Speaker 2: of our monch or like it's easy to trust God.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Like when you start trusting God, that's gonna be very
- 8:22Speaker 2: be very specific. Right, it's even when you start learn
- 8:26Speaker 2: to trust God, it becomes it become But can God
- 8:31Speaker 2: can you can We go from the point of just saying, God,
- 8:34Speaker 2: you know what, I trust you, let's do this, But
- 8:36Speaker 2: then you get what you trust it from God and
- 8:40Speaker 2: God can't trust you with what he's giving you, right
- 8:42Speaker 2: that Like God can't trust you with the transfer. God
- 8:45Speaker 2: can't trust you because you mismanage what is given. And
- 8:49Speaker 2: then some of us I'm gonna step on toes a
- 8:51Speaker 2: little bit. Some of us wonder why it's not it
- 8:53Speaker 2: hasn't been released yet. It's not because you don't trust God.
- 8:57Speaker 2: It's because God can. He trust you with who you
- 9:00Speaker 2: are right now, with the thing that he's holding for you,
- 9:05Speaker 2: and it's not like he's giving it away. It's the
- 9:08Speaker 2: fact that I have not presented myself. Just think about it.
- 9:13Speaker 2: We do it with people. I have not presented myself
- 9:16Speaker 2: in the standard of which I can obtain the thing
- 9:21Speaker 2: that I desire or I feel like God wants me
- 9:23Speaker 2: to have. And when we get out of the woe
- 9:27Speaker 2: is Me context, we understand that, Okay, this is a if,
- 9:33Speaker 2: it's relationship with God. If we're doing relationship, not a transaction,
- 9:39Speaker 2: Thank you, Holy Spirit. There's a difference between doing relationship
- 9:43Speaker 2: with God and being transactional with God. Transaction is God,
- 9:47Speaker 2: I trust you. Relationship is God, you trust me. That's
- 9:53Speaker 2: what real relationship with God is. Seeing the heart of God.
- 9:57Speaker 2: When you see the heart of God and the God's
- 10:00Speaker 2: heart and what he's seeing or what he's experiencing, what
- 10:04Speaker 2: his thoughts are about things, you start navigating differently, you
- 10:08Speaker 2: manage people differently because you there's a standard. The standard
- 10:13Speaker 2: is set the standard keeps increasing because you keep getting
- 10:16Speaker 2: to know, Oh my God, Like the standards gets higher
- 10:21Speaker 2: because you you're knowing, like expands. And so I think
- 10:26Speaker 2: that when you said God, God has given us something,
- 10:31Speaker 2: there's a difference between that as well. When God has
- 10:34Speaker 2: given us something, and that means He's trusted us with it.
- 10:38Speaker 2: But sometimes we get stuff that God hasn't given. Sometimes
- 10:44Speaker 2: we're like, Okay, I don't I'm gonna steward this, and
- 10:47Speaker 2: we say God gave it to it, and that's a lie.
- 10:51Speaker 2: That is a lie. That is a lie. And I
- 10:54Speaker 2: and thank you all the spirit you're making this make sense.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I'm gonna get to our scripture today. But you look
- 10:58Speaker 2: like you was going to say some Oh the assignment
- 11:05Speaker 2: that God gives us versus the assignments that we give ourselves,
- 11:11Speaker 2: there's a difference. And so you're saying, God, but you
- 11:15Speaker 2: gave me no, no, no, no no no no no no,
- 11:18Speaker 2: because there is a level. The reason why I know
- 11:21Speaker 2: that there's a difference because there is a difference between
- 11:26Speaker 2: the suffering. One of the big ways we know how
- 11:31Speaker 2: God can trust us is through our suffering. Okay, that's
- 11:36Speaker 2: what we get into the scripture. Today. Okay, we're getting
- 11:38Speaker 2: to the scripture today. We're in first Peter four and five,
- 11:43Speaker 2: and we're gonna walk this thing out just a little bit. Okay,
- 11:45Speaker 2: shout alad, you're with me, all right. So I'm gonna read.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna first read the first Peter four and I'm
- 11:55Speaker 2: gonna read the first six verses. Okay, I'm going to
- 12:00Speaker 2: read the first six verses. It says, therefore, since in
- 12:05Speaker 2: Christian stander version, Therefore, since Christ suffer in the flesh, hallelujah,
- 12:10Speaker 2: arm yourselves also with the same understanding, because the one
- 12:15Speaker 2: who suffers in the flesh is finished with sin in
- 12:20Speaker 2: order to live the remaining time in the flesh no
- 12:24Speaker 2: longer for human desires, but for God's will. The verse
- 12:29Speaker 2: three says, there has already been enough time spent in
- 12:33Speaker 2: doing what the gentiles chose to do, carrying on in
- 12:39Speaker 2: unrestrained behavior, evil desires, drunkenness, orgies, carousing, and lawless idolatry.
- 12:48Speaker 2: They are surprised that you don't join them in the
- 12:52Speaker 2: same flood of when wild living, and they slander you.
- 12:57Speaker 2: They will give an account to the one who stands
- 13:01Speaker 2: ready to judge the living and the dead. Verse six
- 13:04Speaker 2: says for this reason, the gospel was also preached to
- 13:09Speaker 2: those who are now dead, so that although they might
- 13:13Speaker 2: be judged in the flesh according to human standards, they
- 13:17Speaker 2: might live in the spirit according to God's standards. Okay,
- 13:21Speaker 2: so we're gonna break this down. It's more to read,
- 13:23Speaker 2: but we're gonna break this down. So it's one. Peter
- 13:27Speaker 2: four starts with how God, how Christ suffered right, and
- 13:32Speaker 2: it says that because one but because the one who
- 13:39Speaker 2: suffers in the flesh is finished with sin. This goes
- 13:44Speaker 2: back to the to the idea of people saying all
- 13:47Speaker 2: have sin and fallen short. Okay, so at what point
- 13:50Speaker 2: the sin become a choice? At what point? How do
- 13:54Speaker 2: we rid of sin? We suffer and how do we suffer?
- 13:58Speaker 2: We suffer in our flesh because suffering in our flesh,
- 14:02Speaker 2: Thank you, Holy Spirit. I hear you. Suffering in our
- 14:04Speaker 2: flesh allows our spirit man to grow and God, thank
- 14:09Speaker 2: you Holy Spirit. God could never trust flesh. God can
- 14:13Speaker 2: only trust spirit. Why because God is spirit, God with spirit,
- 14:19Speaker 2: He was made in flesh through the spirit, his spirit
- 14:23Speaker 2: was heightened right, and so we want God to trust
- 14:27Speaker 2: us while we're still managing our flesh over our spirit
- 14:31Speaker 2: while we're still choosing our flesh versus our spirit. And
- 14:36Speaker 2: so the first thing is you have to identify, is
- 14:40Speaker 2: am I willing to give up my flesh to be
- 14:42Speaker 2: trusted by God. That's what the suffering comes from. Because
- 14:46Speaker 2: what you naturally know, thank you, Holy Spirit, what you
- 14:49Speaker 2: naturally understand, what you naturally go towards, what you naturally
- 14:53Speaker 2: abide in, has to be broken up with. You have
- 14:56Speaker 2: to divorce your flesh and means I've signed the papers,
- 15:01Speaker 2: I've coming over. I don't want to do this with
- 15:03Speaker 2: my flesh anymore. I'm just gonna use the flesh as
- 15:06Speaker 2: a tool, right, thank you, Holy Spirit. Jesus used flesh
- 15:10Speaker 2: as a tool, all spirit, all man. It was a tool.
- 15:15Speaker 2: We talk about using podcasts as a tool. We use
- 15:18Speaker 2: the flesh as a tool to get what God wants
- 15:21Speaker 2: to get done in this earth. And when we start us,
- 15:24Speaker 2: when we start looking at our flesh as a tool
- 15:27Speaker 2: versus A versus A, the standard right versus Oh, well,
- 15:33Speaker 2: you know what I was made like this? No, no, no, no,
- 15:35Speaker 2: no no. When you are a but true believer in Christ,
- 15:38Speaker 2: I'm not talking to anybody else outside of the people
- 15:40Speaker 2: that say they believe in God to believe in Jehovah Jira,
- 15:43Speaker 2: they believe in Jesus Christ. If you don't believe, this
- 15:45Speaker 2: is not for you. I'm making myself clear because I
- 15:49Speaker 2: don't want I don't want to be in an I
- 15:50Speaker 2: don't want to be in an argument nobody. I don't
- 15:52Speaker 2: argue about Jesus. I defend the faith, but I'm not
- 15:55Speaker 2: gonna argue. The Bible say, don't argue with for I'm
- 15:58Speaker 2: not gonna argue, like that's why I'm not to do okay,
- 16:01Speaker 2: And so it literally says because the one who suffers
- 16:03Speaker 2: in the flesh is finished with sins in order to
- 16:07Speaker 2: live the remaining time in the flesh right no longer
- 16:11Speaker 2: for uh, no longer for human desires, but for God's will.
- 16:17Speaker 2: And so who are you living for? Can God trust? You?
- 16:22Speaker 2: Ask yourself? Who am I living for? Does what I
- 16:27Speaker 2: what come on my mouth match up with what I'm walking,
- 16:30Speaker 2: how I'm talking? Do I think about God in every circumstance?
- 16:34Speaker 2: Do I consider how God would treat this person? What
- 16:38Speaker 2: I do I consider? Thank You, Holy Spirit, I wouldn't
- 16:40Speaker 2: I wouldn't even gonna say this. I just shared this
- 16:42Speaker 2: with desirat this morning. That was a young lady. I
- 16:44Speaker 2: was getting gas and there was a young lady that
- 16:46Speaker 2: was in front of me and and she got basically
- 16:53Speaker 2: she paid for a gallon of gas, and I hurt
- 16:55Speaker 2: her and the Lord it was like before I could
- 16:58Speaker 2: do any before I thought about it, I was like,
- 17:00Speaker 2: hold up, what do you mean? What do you mean
- 17:04Speaker 2: you only getting a gallon of gas? And she was like,
- 17:06Speaker 2: that's all that on my card. So we worked things
- 17:08Speaker 2: out to where I gave her enough. I don't know
- 17:10Speaker 2: how much gas it is, but I just I said,
- 17:12Speaker 2: I just gave her enough money to get more than
- 17:14Speaker 2: just a gallon of gas, right, And the guy at
- 17:19Speaker 2: the counter, he was like, oh, you're so sweet. I
- 17:20Speaker 2: said to God be the glory, and it wasn't. I
- 17:22Speaker 2: didn't feel like I was saying that from a space
- 17:24Speaker 2: of of like a cliche. I really felt. I was like, no,
- 17:29Speaker 2: God is good. That's why I told him. I said
- 17:30Speaker 2: God is good. I say, God be good. I said
- 17:32Speaker 2: God is good. And because I need you to understand
- 17:35Speaker 2: that God wanted her because I could have went to
- 17:37Speaker 2: the that's not even my normal gas station to stop it.
- 17:41Speaker 2: So I knew then I was like, oh, I stopped
- 17:43Speaker 2: for her. You get know what I'm saying. When you
- 17:44Speaker 2: walk with God and God can trust you. Do you
- 17:47Speaker 2: not think I needed that money? Do you not think
- 17:49Speaker 2: that I didn't even think about it. I don't care
- 17:52Speaker 2: because my money is not mine anyways. You if you really,
- 17:56Speaker 2: if you really live his life, you will realize that
- 17:59Speaker 2: all this extra stuff, all this external stuff, does not matter.
- 18:03Speaker 2: And when you get to that point, you wonder why
- 18:06Speaker 2: God can trust us with BG TV Studios and doing
- 18:09Speaker 2: relationship with them. God can trust us to move and
- 18:11Speaker 2: navigate because he says we follow him thus far, we
- 18:15Speaker 2: follow him through the wilderness season? Thank you, Holy spirits?
- 18:18Speaker 2: Have you suffered? That? That was a test of the
- 18:22Speaker 2: Israelite suffering? I feel my help coming? Does a rap
- 18:25Speaker 2: come on? Preacher? That was the test of the wilderness
- 18:29Speaker 2: was the test of the level of suffering that they
- 18:34Speaker 2: were willing to go through. If they were just suffered
- 18:36Speaker 2: for a little while. It says, if you suffer for
- 18:39Speaker 2: a little while, we're gonna get to that scripture. It's
- 18:43Speaker 2: just a little while. Yeah, And so we us navigating
- 18:46Speaker 2: a suffering season or the things that we have to
- 18:49Speaker 2: suffer is important and it lets God know the how
- 18:53Speaker 2: we go through that is the God. God can trust
- 18:57Speaker 2: me with this. It's so interesting because when I was
- 19:00Speaker 2: driving driving to your house this morning, I I don't
- 19:04Speaker 2: even know how I got on this. I was having
- 19:06Speaker 2: a conversation in my head, but I was talking to
- 19:07Speaker 2: Jesus in sense and the the phrase came up, God
- 19:11Speaker 2: on my heart, right, that came up, And I was like,
- 19:16Speaker 2: people say that because they really don't want to suffer,
- 19:21Speaker 2: right God? So God, No, my heart is a is
- 19:25Speaker 2: a deflection of yeah, I know I should be doing
- 19:28Speaker 2: this thing, but he know, he know my heart. So
- 19:31Speaker 2: I'm choosing not to do it. And I'm and I'm
- 19:33Speaker 2: and I'm and I'm trying to loan from the grace.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I'm trying to I'm trying to pull from the grace
- 19:39Speaker 2: even though he says, my grace is sufficient, and I
- 19:41Speaker 2: think that's what we're getting missiles conscrewed. Yes, he's given
- 19:45Speaker 2: us grace, but he's given us grace because he know
- 19:47Speaker 2: the flesh, yeah, right, and he knows that as we
- 19:50Speaker 2: are trying to walk this thing out, the flesh gonna
- 19:52Speaker 2: be fleshing. Right, So he says, hey, my grace is
- 19:54Speaker 2: sufficient to cover this. As I know that you are
- 19:56Speaker 2: becoming as I know as as I know that you
- 19:59Speaker 2: are your heart. Yes, I do know your heart, right,
- 20:02Speaker 2: I do know your heart, and I know your heart
- 20:03Speaker 2: is to serve me. But this thing right here ASA
- 20:05Speaker 2: got a grip on you. So my grace right now,
- 20:07Speaker 2: it's gonna cover you right versus all ahead the Lord?
- 20:10Speaker 2: No my heart, Yeah, no, I do know your heart.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I know you want to do this thing, but you
- 20:13Speaker 2: don't really love me for real, Like you really don't
- 20:15Speaker 2: want to. You really don't want to walk this thing out.
- 20:17Speaker 2: You just want to say I'm a Christian because it
- 20:19Speaker 2: sounds good to say I'm a Christian. But you're still choosing, yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 2: to live the worldly way. And so I was like,
- 20:24Speaker 2: that is so interesting. So when I read this, when
- 20:27Speaker 2: you sent me to this to this morning, I guess
- 20:28Speaker 2: maybe that's why the Holy Spirit had me having this
- 20:30Speaker 2: conversation on my mind, because that's what came up as
- 20:32Speaker 2: you're talking. It's like we don't want to suffer because
- 20:35Speaker 2: we know, like if you really a believer for real,
- 20:38Speaker 2: like if you really believe the scriptures, and that's the
- 20:41Speaker 2: thing that I that I that I question a lot.
- 20:44Speaker 2: It's like we sometimes really don't believe what this word says.
- 20:48Speaker 2: This is so good. This is what dropped in my
- 20:50Speaker 2: spirit when when I was after I had read that,
- 20:58Speaker 2: I heard the Holy Spirit say, suffering isn't a request,
- 21:02Speaker 2: it's a requirement. It's not I'm not requesting you to suffer.
- 21:08Speaker 2: It's a requirement to suffer. And the gag is is
- 21:15Speaker 2: that at some point you will suffer at God's hand
- 21:20Speaker 2: or your hand. But the beautiful thing about suffering at
- 21:23Speaker 2: God's hand right, and not to say and let me
- 21:27Speaker 2: because y'all theologians get on my nerves. People are want
- 21:30Speaker 2: to be there. That ain't what the word. Listen, what
- 21:33Speaker 2: I'm saying when I say that is if I'm suffering
- 21:37Speaker 2: while I'm with God, that mean God's have to cover
- 21:40Speaker 2: me in the suffering. Job when he went through his suffering,
- 21:45Speaker 2: there was only so much that the devil could request
- 21:48Speaker 2: of God to do with him because God trusted job,
- 21:51Speaker 2: job did watch this. We don't like suffering. No one
- 21:55Speaker 2: likes to suffer. But to go through the suffering that
- 21:58Speaker 2: God trusts you with and he says, no, he can
- 22:01Speaker 2: handle this type, this level of suffering means that God
- 22:05Speaker 2: has to pay you back for that suffering. God has
- 22:08Speaker 2: to cover you through that suffering. And it's only when
- 22:11Speaker 2: we come out of the hand of God, out of
- 22:14Speaker 2: the covering of God, that we experience we say, oh
- 22:17Speaker 2: we experience suffering no more. But now your soul suffers.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Now your spirit suffers because what hurts the flesh, you
- 22:25Speaker 2: can't manage it because you're not realizing, you're not making
- 22:29Speaker 2: the connect that God is trying to do something in
- 22:31Speaker 2: my spirit. When you're broke for a while, or you
- 22:35Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. That's why some of y'all need
- 22:37Speaker 2: to learn how to fast. Sometimes you're gonna miss a meal, okay,
- 22:43Speaker 2: likes and it's not I think people get it conflicted,
- 22:49Speaker 2: misconstrued because we have the language of grace, and we
- 22:56Speaker 2: pimp out grace so much that we try to avoid
- 23:00Speaker 2: everything that does not feel good to us. But that's
- 23:04Speaker 2: the that's the that's the mandate for us to make
- 23:07Speaker 2: sure that we understand not only God, not only the Bible,
- 23:12Speaker 2: but God's heart. And the only way, y'all trust me
- 23:15Speaker 2: when I say this, the only way to learn God's
- 23:19Speaker 2: heart is to learn God for yourself, to pray to
- 23:24Speaker 2: communicate God. What would you want to do in this situation?
- 23:27Speaker 2: How would you want to move. It goes back to
- 23:30Speaker 2: an example that we always talk about bg TV. I
- 23:32Speaker 2: didn't want to be in nobody else network. I was
- 23:35Speaker 2: adamant about that, like so much. I was like, may
- 23:39Speaker 2: when I tell you pride the pride what I said,
- 23:43Speaker 2: I will not lie. I said no until I walked
- 23:46Speaker 2: into God's favor. Until I saw and I didn't even
- 23:49Speaker 2: care about this. I was like, oh, okay, this is nice.
- 23:51Speaker 2: But Lord, you're gifting, You're trusting us to be a
- 23:55Speaker 2: part of this, that this, this faith is unmatched. You
- 23:58Speaker 2: think we ready to manage a relationship like this, Like
- 24:01Speaker 2: what I felt the God. I felt the heart of
- 24:04Speaker 2: God right, And sometimes y'all, some of us get confused
- 24:08Speaker 2: with the heart of God with our hearts because the
- 24:11Speaker 2: scripture says God will give you the desires of your heart.
- 24:14Speaker 2: But that's not the full of scripture. It says, delight
- 24:17Speaker 2: yourself in the Lord. I think that's proverbs. Delight yourself
- 24:21Speaker 2: in the Lord, and then he will give you the
- 24:24Speaker 2: desires of your heart. That when you're delighting yourself in
- 24:27Speaker 2: your Lord, watch this you're suffering. It all goes back
- 24:33Speaker 2: to you, delighten yourself in the Lord, requires you to
- 24:36Speaker 2: suffer you delight yourself in the Lord requires you to
- 24:41Speaker 2: tell your flesh no. And it's not just about sex.
- 24:44Speaker 2: It's not just about not eating chocolate. It's not just
- 24:48Speaker 2: about managing your temple. It's about doing everything for the
- 24:53Speaker 2: will of the for the will of the Lord and
- 24:54Speaker 2: the will of the Kingdom. That's so good. It's so good,
- 24:58Speaker 2: and so I love it. Let's fast forward to because
- 25:02Speaker 2: we're gonna read description. Let's fast forward to one Peter four,
- 25:10Speaker 2: and we're gonna start at verse twelve. I think I'm
- 25:12Speaker 2: gonna end at verse nineteen on this section. So this
- 25:15Speaker 2: is titled Christian suffering. It says, dear friends, don't be
- 25:23Speaker 2: surprised when the fiery ordeal comes among you to test you,
- 25:29Speaker 2: as if something unusual were happening to you. Instead, rejoice
- 25:36Speaker 2: as you share in the sufferings come on now of Christ,
- 25:39Speaker 2: so that you may also rejoice with great joy when
- 25:43Speaker 2: His glory is revealed. Thank you, Holy Spirit. If you
- 25:46Speaker 2: are ridiculed for the name of Christ, you are blessed Jesus,
- 25:52Speaker 2: because the spirit of the Spirit of Glory and of
- 25:56Speaker 2: God rest on you. Let none of you say as
- 26:00Speaker 2: a murderer, a thief an evil doer or a mettler.
- 26:05Speaker 2: But if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not
- 26:10Speaker 2: be ashamed, but let him glorify God in having that name.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Thank you Lord, for the time has come for judgment
- 26:19Speaker 2: to begin with God's household. And if it begins with us,
- 26:24Speaker 2: what will the outcome be for those who disobey the
- 26:28Speaker 2: Gospel of God? Verse eighteen says, And if a righteous
- 26:32Speaker 2: person is saved with difficulty, what will become of the
- 26:37Speaker 2: ungodly and the sinner? Nineteen? So then, let those who
- 26:42Speaker 2: suffer according to God's will entrust themselves to a faithful
- 26:47Speaker 2: creator while doing what is good. So good Jesus, when
- 26:54Speaker 2: I tell you it's so much in that, it's so
- 26:57Speaker 2: much in it, It says, oh, for you call yourself
- 27:01Speaker 2: a Christian, you gonna suffer. And it says watch this.
- 27:04Speaker 2: You shouldn't mourn them, you shall rejoice in it, because
- 27:08Speaker 2: that is when God's glory is revealed. We always talk
- 27:11Speaker 2: about I need your glory. I won't your glory lessen me?
- 27:16Speaker 2: And more review as what I need. If you're really
- 27:19Speaker 2: into the God, glory of God, you're into suffering DA's rain.
- 27:24Speaker 2: If you are into the glory of God. You are
- 27:28Speaker 2: also into suffering. The double as sword is not just
- 27:33Speaker 2: for one thing, It's for everything. When you walk as
- 27:36Speaker 2: a Christian and a believer, there is a double ed sword.
- 27:40Speaker 2: You will see the good, but you will also you
- 27:42Speaker 2: will see the pruning, but you will also see the cutting. Wow,
- 27:47Speaker 2: both of them feel the same. The glory of God
- 27:51Speaker 2: involves suffering. You have to suffer to see the excellence
- 27:56Speaker 2: of God. And if you have a problem with that,
- 28:00Speaker 2: you need to deal with you, especially if you have
- 28:02Speaker 2: dedicated your life to Christ. And I hear people and
- 28:07Speaker 2: idge I used to judge people real bad when I
- 28:10Speaker 2: used to say certain things. But this is what the
- 28:12Speaker 2: word says is black and white. It's really black and white,
- 28:16Speaker 2: and we we try to navigate these things. I have
- 28:19Speaker 2: a love language, right, I have a love language, a
- 28:21Speaker 2: word of affirmation. With it. I'm here to affirm you
- 28:24Speaker 2: that your suffering is good. It's good, Your suffering is good.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Your suffering means oh my gosh, God trusts me with this.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Do you not know that I couldn't enter into twenty
- 28:36Speaker 2: twenty six without suffering, I said, God, this first quarter
- 28:40Speaker 2: has been in hell. You. I opened the door and
- 28:43Speaker 2: it was like what what in the world I'm thinking,
- 28:46Speaker 2: bless I'm like, okay, God, this is why I spake this.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I spect he said, Okay, he suffer for it, suffer
- 28:52Speaker 2: for it. This is why some of you guys are
- 28:54Speaker 2: stuck because you're afraid to suffer. You think suffering will
- 28:59Speaker 2: take you out. But that's what the grace of God
- 29:01Speaker 2: is for it keeps you, it molds you. You might
- 29:05Speaker 2: not know what to say, but the Lord has the language.
- 29:07Speaker 2: You might not know what to do, but the Lord
- 29:09Speaker 2: has the next step. Hallelujah. As you journey with God,
- 29:13Speaker 2: there would be opportunities. Watch this. Because you're ignorant and
- 29:17Speaker 2: you don't know. You don't know what tomorrow brings. You
- 29:20Speaker 2: don't know what you might face, but God does. And
- 29:23Speaker 2: God uses that to not only do relationship with us,
- 29:27Speaker 2: but to prove how much He loves us. But then,
- 29:30Speaker 2: in the love of God, we have a standard to
- 29:34Speaker 2: love God too. And you know what God's love language is.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Love language is is obedience. Yes, it says in John.
- 29:41Speaker 2: I think it's John. It says, if you love me,
- 29:44Speaker 2: you obey my commands. And it's not like, oh, if
- 29:47Speaker 2: you love me, you obeby on God. It's like no,
- 29:49Speaker 2: when you when you love me, when you love me,
- 29:55Speaker 2: you will obey my commands. It's an if then and
- 29:58Speaker 2: then statement. If you love me, you're gonna do it.
- 30:02Speaker 2: It's no just so that means some of us need
- 30:05Speaker 2: to learn how to love God more so what so
- 30:08Speaker 2: what so we can suffer? Will and watch this? Thank
- 30:11Speaker 2: you Holy Spirit out here the Lord say that sometimes
- 30:14Speaker 2: God allows suffering so that you can learn to love
- 30:17Speaker 2: Him on new levels. We are so cookie cuddled with
- 30:21Speaker 2: the love of God, y'all. We become so cookie cuddled
- 30:24Speaker 2: with the love of God and so normal. We normalize
- 30:26Speaker 2: what we want God, how much we want God to
- 30:28Speaker 2: love us, because we know that the more in depth
- 30:31Speaker 2: we get with God, the more He's gonna require of us,
- 30:33Speaker 2: the more He's gonna expect out of us. And so
- 30:36Speaker 2: therefore you wanna remain mediocre, Thank you, Holy Spirit. You
- 30:39Speaker 2: want to remain mediocre because you don't want to go
- 30:42Speaker 2: in the depths of God because you know there's more
- 30:44Speaker 2: suffering there. You didn't you didn't like the last season,
- 30:47Speaker 2: so you ask God, don't do it no more. But
- 30:49Speaker 2: what you're really doing is hindering what you really want,
- 30:51Speaker 2: because God keeps showing you, Thank you Holy Spirit, who
- 30:54Speaker 2: you are called to be, who you're supposed to be,
- 30:56Speaker 2: what you're supposed to be, manifested into what just not
- 30:59Speaker 2: what the hollow Louiah, the legacy that you're supposed to leave,
- 31:02Speaker 2: and what your problem is is because you've created a blockage.
- 31:06Speaker 2: You've blocked God from allowing you to suffer to the
- 31:10Speaker 2: point of His glory. Thank your Holy Spirit to suffer
- 31:13Speaker 2: on the point to what you see and what you know,
- 31:15Speaker 2: what you're supposed to be doing. And so now we
- 31:17Speaker 2: gotta come back and say, God, you know what I
- 31:19Speaker 2: repent for that our repent for putting that wall against you.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I repent for negating you from allowing me to see
- 31:25Speaker 2: your glory. And if suffering is how I'm gonna see
- 31:29Speaker 2: your glory, then let me go through it. But I
- 31:31Speaker 2: know your grace is sufficient. Let it work together, y'all,
- 31:34Speaker 2: because it can't work together if you keep taking pieces
- 31:37Speaker 2: away from it. Y'all. I'm trying to tell you the
- 31:40Speaker 2: only way we get to do this is if we
- 31:43Speaker 2: navigate this journey properly, get to know God more, love God,
- 31:48Speaker 2: even the more so because it's not a suggestion that
- 31:52Speaker 2: you suffer. It is a requirement, And will you treat
- 31:57Speaker 2: suffering like a requirement and even never think you spirit
- 32:00Speaker 2: even navigating the suffering, Well, you gotta navigate it. Well.
- 32:05Speaker 2: You don't get to suffer and then be pissed about it.
- 32:09Speaker 2: You don't get to be something. And when I say pissed,
- 32:12Speaker 2: you don't get to piss on nobody else, parade, that's
- 32:15Speaker 2: what I mean. You don't get to to make somebody
- 32:19Speaker 2: else feel bad because God is trusting you with a season, y'all. Oh,
- 32:23Speaker 2: you don't get to make people feel upset because God says, no,
- 32:27Speaker 2: I chose you for a time such as this. You
- 32:30Speaker 2: don't get to be You don't get to just mistreat
- 32:33Speaker 2: everybody else because God is teaching you about you. God
- 32:39Speaker 2: is navigating you through your journey. But there's a responsibility
- 32:45Speaker 2: to rejoice, to rejoice in the suffering. Do you know
- 32:51Speaker 2: how long David suffered for a thing that God had
- 32:54Speaker 2: declared was his Come on, somebody, David suffered for it.
- 33:00Speaker 2: David mourned, David navigated, He he ran for his life,
- 33:05Speaker 2: and then honored the man when he died. He honored
- 33:10Speaker 2: the man that participated in his suffering. What happens when
- 33:16Speaker 2: God calls you to honor the people that inflicted the suffering.
- 33:21Speaker 2: There's a rag girl, because if you only knew, if y'all,
- 33:25Speaker 2: if I told y'all a real story, when the Lord
- 33:27Speaker 2: let me tell this story, oh it's gonna be real.
- 33:32Speaker 2: And so we got to make sure that we're using
- 33:34Speaker 2: the right suffering language. Fleshly suffering language is a woeist me.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Godly suffering suffering language is God trusts me to go
- 33:48Speaker 2: through this. I'm gonna rejoice. I might not be glad
- 33:51Speaker 2: right now. I'm not saying and then I'm not saying
- 33:53Speaker 2: thank you all the spirit. I'm not saying to not
- 33:55Speaker 2: have human emotion. This is why accountability is so important.
- 34:00Speaker 2: This is why being amongst people. People say, why is
- 34:03Speaker 2: church around? What is church? That's why church is around,
- 34:06Speaker 2: so we can gather with like minded people. I called
- 34:09Speaker 2: Desiree in the quickness. I called a coach d quick
- 34:12Speaker 2: to tell a I'm finna go off. I call my pastors,
- 34:18Speaker 2: shout out to Geno and kareein Gardiner. I will text
- 34:23Speaker 2: both of them in the group, Hey, I need y'all
- 34:26Speaker 2: praying for me because this ain't it and they know me,
- 34:29Speaker 2: they know I can go to lift. Okay, So, but
- 34:34Speaker 2: that's why being amongst the white people, it gives you
- 34:39Speaker 2: that safe space to be human and say, you know what,
- 34:41Speaker 2: this is hard, but they'll remind you suffer well, suffer well, Deesirae,
- 34:45Speaker 2: you over there shaking, you know, my leg always shake.
- 34:48Speaker 2: This is this my twitchy situation. But this was so
- 34:50Speaker 2: good to me because I don't think we talk about
- 34:55Speaker 2: suffering enough. And I think sometimes we I say we, yeah,
- 35:01Speaker 2: in a sense, we almost set people up for failure,
- 35:04Speaker 2: like we don't give them the whole truth of the gospel,
- 35:07Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. And so it's like they
- 35:11Speaker 2: come to Christ and yes, like you begin to do
- 35:15Speaker 2: this walk and things like that, but things will happen.
- 35:19Speaker 2: It's not just because you you you've accepted the Lord
- 35:22Speaker 2: as your savior, that nothing will happen. Yes, things will happen.
- 35:24Speaker 2: But because you've accepted the Lord as your savior, we
- 35:28Speaker 2: can we learn to manage the trials differently. And so
- 35:35Speaker 2: and and and I'm just thinking about my own journey,
- 35:38Speaker 2: Like the Lord knows us, like like he really knows
- 35:41Speaker 2: our heart. He really knows the things that are in
- 35:42Speaker 2: there that's not like him, the things that will hinder
- 35:48Speaker 2: us in the spaces that we're going to, and so
- 35:50Speaker 2: a lot of times, nine times out of ten, that's
- 35:53Speaker 2: what the trials are for. The trials are to build,
- 35:56Speaker 2: to build us, to to break us, yes, yeah, to
- 35:59Speaker 2: break us, but also to kill us right there, to
- 36:01Speaker 2: break us so that we can see the things that
- 36:04Speaker 2: are not like God. Like I mean, I thought I
- 36:07Speaker 2: was a good person. I do feel like I'm a
- 36:08Speaker 2: good person, but I didn't realize how much pride I
- 36:10Speaker 2: had in my heart, how much idolatry I had when
- 36:13Speaker 2: it came to like money and dependency on myself like
- 36:17Speaker 2: I didn't. I didn't know those things because those had
- 36:19Speaker 2: become my norm, my norm. It wasn't until I decided
- 36:22Speaker 2: to be obedient that God begin and I begin to
- 36:24Speaker 2: do relationship with the Lord, that I begin to learn
- 36:27Speaker 2: who he is in his heart. And then he began
- 36:29Speaker 2: to reflect the mirror back on myself. And in those
- 36:34Speaker 2: hard trial moments, I had to keep reminding myself that
- 36:37Speaker 2: this too shell pass. Yeah, that he's doing something. What
- 36:40Speaker 2: he doing I don't know, And why I had to
- 36:41Speaker 2: be like this, I don't know. But if I don't
- 36:43Speaker 2: trust nobody else, I can trust the Lord. If I
- 36:48Speaker 2: can't trust me, because y'all, I can't trust me, sometimes
- 36:51Speaker 2: I can trust the Lord if I if I really
- 36:53Speaker 2: want to walk this thing out for real, I can
- 36:55Speaker 2: trust the Lord. And so that that solace has really
- 36:58Speaker 2: gotten me to this point. A lot of a lot
- 37:00Speaker 2: of the situation, if I'm honest, has not changed, but
- 37:03Speaker 2: I've changed in the situation, and I feel and I
- 37:06Speaker 2: can sense that I'm coming on the other side of it,
- 37:11Speaker 2: and I know that the person that I am now
- 37:13Speaker 2: God can continue to trust me with the things that
- 37:15Speaker 2: he's bringing to me. The desires of my heart what listen,
- 37:20Speaker 2: let me tell you, tell you the desires of my
- 37:23Speaker 2: heart now is not the desires that I had two three,
- 37:26Speaker 2: four years ago. Yeah, to be married. If I'm honest,
- 37:30Speaker 2: that wasn't a desire of my child. I said, Lord
- 37:32Speaker 2: made me the rich untie, because what's going on here
- 37:34Speaker 2: these people is crazy. Like I can do, I can do,
- 37:37Speaker 2: I can do without all that. Yeah. But as I
- 37:39Speaker 2: just begin to learn the Lord, to allow the Lord
- 37:42Speaker 2: to work on my heart, to pull things out, then
- 37:44Speaker 2: to desire his desire because the child it wasn't mine,
- 37:47Speaker 2: just begin to shift into molds. And now I'm like,
- 37:55Speaker 2: I can see that, and I'm proud of you because
- 37:58Speaker 2: I think I came in the suffering or right before
- 38:03Speaker 2: it started. Yeah. Yeah, I think we entered each other's
- 38:07Speaker 2: lives at the perfect time because the suffering got really
- 38:12Speaker 2: it got really well. Maybe they didn't tell me when
- 38:15Speaker 2: you say yes, Lord, so you're talking about a seven
- 38:19Speaker 2: twenty credit score down to five thirty five. Jesus, this
- 38:25Speaker 2: is not out what I signed up foe, Okay, But
- 38:28Speaker 2: when I tell you, I'm like, it's it's it's building,
- 38:31Speaker 2: it's built. But also and that's not that's not my
- 38:34Speaker 2: God anymore. Yeah, come on, Like can you say that?
- 38:36Speaker 2: It's not like money's not my God anymore, like the
- 38:40Speaker 2: need for stability, like that, it's not my God anymore.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Because I've I've learned the Lord as my jehola jirah
- 38:46Speaker 2: because I almost died child, yeh, he saved me and
- 38:49Speaker 2: and I've learned him as my provider. And now I'm
- 38:54Speaker 2: in and I'm in a space where he's he's I'm
- 38:56Speaker 2: learning him as Abba and that space has been very
- 39:00Speaker 2: interesting because I had to be honest with him. I
- 39:04Speaker 2: don't know, this is this is me. This is my
- 39:05Speaker 2: comment to the Lord. I don't know what to call you, Like, yes,
- 39:10Speaker 2: I call you Lord and Savior, but like do I
- 39:13Speaker 2: call you Daddy? Do I call you dad? Do I
- 39:15Speaker 2: call you Abbah? Do I call you father? Because those
- 39:18Speaker 2: are more intimate, intimate spaces and if he's been here,
- 39:22Speaker 2: you've heard the testimonies about me and my father my dad, right,
- 39:26Speaker 2: So as he's healing those spaces, I'm beginning to see
- 39:29Speaker 2: him more as my father. And so I'm like, what
- 39:32Speaker 2: do you want me? And I asked him, I said,
- 39:33Speaker 2: what do you want to call you? And I'm still
- 39:34Speaker 2: listening for that. But that but that only comes, that
- 39:37Speaker 2: has only come in the obedience, in the suffering, in
- 39:40Speaker 2: the healing, in the journey. You know what I'm saying.
- 39:43Speaker 2: And so I'm excited. That's so good. You bring up
- 39:44Speaker 2: a good point, does Airay? We we value nique names
- 39:50Speaker 2: and some people, uh, they'll tell me, hey, just Jessica.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Would you prefer just or Jessica? I said, whatever makes
- 39:58Speaker 2: you feel comfortable, right, And I do that just for
- 40:03Speaker 2: people can not stress out about like whatever lungs. It's
- 40:06Speaker 2: just so Jessica. But there are certain people that call
- 40:10Speaker 2: me by my middle name, and you better not say
- 40:13Speaker 2: it right now. Okay, there are certain people, and I'm
- 40:17Speaker 2: very strict on that that call me by my middle name.
- 40:20Speaker 2: But those only people that not only know my middle name,
- 40:25Speaker 2: but they've seen me in spaces. My memo was one
- 40:29Speaker 2: of the main people that called me by my middle name,
- 40:32Speaker 2: and only special people call me by my middle name.
- 40:36Speaker 2: And so the calling on certain the name is important,
- 40:42Speaker 2: which name to call me by, and I respond to
- 40:46Speaker 2: you when you call me back, then I'll be like, oh, okay,
- 40:48Speaker 2: you know, and it does something to me, like it
- 40:50Speaker 2: puts me in order, like it checks me. You know
- 40:52Speaker 2: what I'm saying. And it wasn't. It's never is a
- 40:54Speaker 2: bad thing, but it's like, oh, she trying to give
- 40:56Speaker 2: my attention on something else. Like I know, God, calling
- 41:00Speaker 2: me by that name is so intimate, But you can't
- 41:04Speaker 2: just call me by that name. You would, it's somebody
- 41:08Speaker 2: else you would never You'll never be able to call
- 41:11Speaker 2: me by that name. And we're gonna have a problem
- 41:13Speaker 2: if you call me by that name because you don't
- 41:15Speaker 2: even know me like that. Yeah, come on, you don't
- 41:18Speaker 2: even know me to be calling me that. So we
- 41:21Speaker 2: be like, oh, God is our our father? Is he
- 41:24Speaker 2: Lord Jesus, is he is he? Do you know him
- 41:30Speaker 2: like that? The only way you get to know him
- 41:33Speaker 2: like that is if you suffer. Doesn't really suffer with me?
- 41:37Speaker 2: She seen me. She not only she sees me, but
- 41:39Speaker 2: she got in there with me. What thank you? Lord.
- 41:42Speaker 2: We need to stop being the audience of God and
- 41:46Speaker 2: participate in the things of Him. Have you got in
- 41:50Speaker 2: it with him? Have you said you know I'm going
- 41:54Speaker 2: I'm not just going to survive this thing called Christianity.
- 41:57Speaker 2: I am going to journey as a Christian, as a believer,
- 42:01Speaker 2: and the journey requires suffering. And so how we end
- 42:06Speaker 2: this is is one Peter five, And I'm gonna start
- 42:14Speaker 2: at the sixth verse, and I'm gonna go to the eleventh.
- 42:19Speaker 2: It says, humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God,
- 42:23Speaker 2: so that He may exalt you at the proper time,
- 42:27Speaker 2: Casting all your cares on him, because He cares about you.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Be sober minded, Be alert your adversary. The devil is
- 42:36Speaker 2: prowing around like a ruin lion, looking for anyone he
- 42:41Speaker 2: can devour. Resist him, firm in the faith, knowing that
- 42:46Speaker 2: the same kind of sufferings are being experienced by your
- 42:51Speaker 2: fellow believers throughout the world. Verse ten says the God
- 42:57Speaker 2: of all grace, who call you to this eternal glory
- 43:02Speaker 2: in Christ, will himself restore, establish, strengthen, and support you
- 43:10Speaker 2: after you have suffered a little while to him be
- 43:15Speaker 2: dominion forever a man a man. You're not going to
- 43:22Speaker 2: go through this by yourself. God has placed us and
- 43:29Speaker 2: allowed us to be a community with other fellow believers
- 43:33Speaker 2: that are understanding how to properly suffer. And so if
- 43:39Speaker 2: this is your community, join a safe space and we
- 43:42Speaker 2: hold you accountable in your suffering. Yes, we push you
- 43:47Speaker 2: to your next But maybe if it's not the safe space,
- 43:50Speaker 2: I'm okay with that. Maybe if it's your local your
- 43:53Speaker 2: local community, your church, your your small group, your friends.
- 43:57Speaker 2: You have to be amongst the right people to suffer
- 44:00Speaker 2: for will You don't just suffer well, you suffer well
- 44:03Speaker 2: in a community. And what you have to do in
- 44:07Speaker 2: order to do that you have to humble yourself. You
- 44:09Speaker 2: have to say, yeah, this ain't it. I need help.
- 44:12Speaker 2: You're still gonna have to go through it, but you're
- 44:14Speaker 2: not gonna have to go through it alone. And so
- 44:18Speaker 2: God's promised and it says this in verse ten and
- 44:23Speaker 2: if y'all don't hear anything I said, I want to
- 44:26Speaker 2: leave one Peter, five and ten with you, and I'm
- 44:30Speaker 2: gonna say it again. The God of all grace, who
- 44:34Speaker 2: called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish,
- 44:42Speaker 2: strengthen and support you after you have suffered a little while.
- 44:49Speaker 2: I hope this blessed you. I hope you're ready to
- 44:53Speaker 2: suffer well so that God can extend his eternal grace
- 44:58Speaker 2: and that he can show his eternal life love for you.
- 45:01Speaker 2: We love you here it just as the podcast. Remember,
- 45:06Speaker 2: life could be much more simple if you just asked.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Y'all have a great one. Thank you for tuning in
