Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost Famous podcast with iHeartRadio. Welcome back
- 0:05Speaker 1: to kind of Famous with me Deanna Pappas and producer Heather.
- 0:09Speaker 1: We had so much fun a couple of months ago
- 0:11Speaker 1: breaking down Hulu's Love Overboard, and now we're back to
- 0:14Speaker 1: break down another Alex Cooper unwell dating show, Let's Marry
- 0:19Speaker 1: Harry on Netflix. We did have a lot of fun
- 0:22Speaker 1: on the last show, A lot of fun. I think
- 0:24Speaker 1: that I was just telling you I still follow those
- 0:26Speaker 1: kids on social media.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I've got to let it go. I think why, I
- 0:30Speaker 2: think I need the breakup. I can't tell you everything.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Remember we were texting a couple of weeks about it's
- 0:36Speaker 2: something I'm working on. I can't tell anybody, but I mean,
- 0:39Speaker 2: if you go on my socials you'd see it. But
- 0:41Speaker 2: I have something to tell you, maybe on down the
- 0:43Speaker 2: line connected back to that. No, that's just a tease.
- 0:46Speaker 2: You can't tell me today right now.
- 0:48Speaker 1: No, maybe off Mike, I'll tell you. I'm out right now. God,
- 0:51Speaker 1: it's got to be Bella or I can't. I know.
- 0:55Speaker 2: We know Bella is going to be on another Hulu show.
- 0:58Speaker 2: It's rumored, so we'll keep an eye out for that one.
- 1:01Speaker 2: We are Bella fans. But before we get too deep
- 1:05Speaker 2: into this recap, which the whole reason that we're recapping
- 1:10Speaker 2: this show is because Bachelor Nation alum Lauren Hollinger is
- 1:16Speaker 2: a cast member on this show.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Let's marry Harry. Do you remember her? She was on
- 1:20Speaker 1: Joey's season. I didn't. I Actually, to be honest, I
- 1:23Speaker 1: had to look her up. I did not remember her.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I didn't even remember what she looked like. And I
- 1:28Speaker 1: watched the episode and had to rewind it and go back.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I'm so sorry if she just didn't stand out to me.
- 1:37Speaker 2: A lot of girls to get through, twenty girls starting
- 1:39Speaker 2: out on night one, it was a lot to cover.
- 1:43Speaker 2: And I think typically a Bachelor episode on night one
- 1:47Speaker 2: would be an hour and a half two hours long.
- 1:51Speaker 1: This is not that long.
- 1:52Speaker 2: So it's a lot of We got to set up
- 1:54Speaker 2: what the show is because it's a new show. Then
- 1:56Speaker 2: we have to introduce twenty girls, and we'll get to it.
- 1:59Speaker 2: But at some point they just started skipping and like
- 2:01Speaker 2: not doing the intros and just letting them all start
- 2:03Speaker 2: walk in. But even in this show, you almost miss her.
- 2:06Speaker 2: If you blink, you're almost missed.
- 2:08Speaker 1: So we'll get to it. But there is one that
- 2:09Speaker 1: I missed.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I literally wrote her name down and never wrote anything
- 2:12Speaker 2: else about her in the notes because I was like,
- 2:14Speaker 2: did this girl speak? But I do want to know
- 2:17Speaker 2: what your kind of knowledge is about our lead Harry
- 2:20Speaker 2: Jowsey before we got before you saw this show or anything,
- 2:24Speaker 2: what did you know about him?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Okay? I have been looking forward to this, to sitting
- 2:28Speaker 1: down with you because I don't know who he is. Okay,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I had no clue who he was, and I did
- 2:34Speaker 1: myself you know a solid here. I did not google
- 2:37Speaker 1: him before I got here today. Okay, I didn't look
- 2:39Speaker 1: up a single photo of him. I wanted to be
- 2:41Speaker 1: able to because you've got it like reality is your thing.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I needed to hear the shocker people that I do
- 2:47Speaker 1: know who he is. Well, that's why I was like,
- 2:50Speaker 1: I'm just gonna let Heather fill me in and school
- 2:52Speaker 1: me on this guy right now, because what I get
- 2:55Speaker 1: starting the show is I feel like I got to
- 2:57Speaker 1: know this kid. Yeah, I can see by the way
- 3:00Speaker 1: he talks and some of the things that he says.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I'm like he had to have been on some sort
- 3:05Speaker 1: of just like boys show just by the way he talks. Yeah,
- 3:08Speaker 1: he's cute, he's attractive, he's a cutie for sure.
- 3:11Speaker 2: So we all got to know Harry Jouc back in
- 3:15Speaker 2: twenty twenty or twenty twenty one, somewhere around there. He
- 3:17Speaker 2: was on the first season of Netflix's Too Hot to Handle.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Now, if you don't know what that show.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Is, it's where they basically trick a bunch of hot people.
- 3:27Speaker 2: They think that they're going on a dating show, and
- 3:29Speaker 2: then once they get to the location, they say, actually,
- 3:32Speaker 2: you're on Too Hot to Handle, and you're not allowed
- 3:34Speaker 2: to touch each other or it will affect the cash prize.
- 3:37Speaker 1: So they're basically.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Told that they can't hook up, get physical, get intimate,
- 3:42Speaker 2: because it's about building a connection first. And there's like
- 3:46Speaker 2: a group prize pot that they're all playing with.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It's a cash prize, cash prize.
- 3:50Speaker 2: And anytime somebody breaks the rules and makes out or
- 3:53Speaker 2: does something else other than making out, the money depletes.
- 3:56Speaker 2: And that's what the funniness of that show is.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Now. Do I know anybody watching Too Hot to Handle anymore?
- 4:02Speaker 1: I do not.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I think we kind of all got over a little
- 4:05Speaker 2: bit of it after season three.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I know I did.
- 4:08Speaker 2: But Harry was on season one. He had a strong
- 4:12Speaker 2: connection with Francesca, who he dated on and off, you know,
- 4:16Speaker 2: during filming. After filming, he then went on Netflix's Perfect Match,
- 4:21Speaker 2: which we have recapped as well on this show, so
- 4:23Speaker 2: our audience kind of knows what that is.
- 4:26Speaker 1: It's basically a bunch.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Of people from Netflix dating shows coming to date again.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It's like their version of paradise. Essentially, Harry has made
- 4:34Speaker 1: his rounds.
- 4:35Speaker 2: It feels like, yes, Harry is not a stranger, and
- 4:38Speaker 2: he's now got a podcast on the Unwell Network and
- 4:42Speaker 2: he's twenty eight.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And some of my favorite.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Lore though recently about Harry is who he's dated or
- 4:49Speaker 2: rumored to have dated outside of TV. So the big
- 4:53Speaker 2: rumor was never like fully confirmed, like they weren't spotted
- 4:57Speaker 2: out together.
- 4:58Speaker 1: But he was supposedly dating Lucy Hale as of last year.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Drop it, I know which is She's She's too good
- 5:06Speaker 1: for him. It's actually crazy. That was it. That was
- 5:08Speaker 1: a crazy one.
- 5:09Speaker 2: The other was that he was rumored to be dating
- 5:13Speaker 2: Cia the singer chandelier singer, what the one with the
- 5:18Speaker 2: who always has her face? Yes, yes, but she's fifty,
- 5:21Speaker 2: he's twenty eight. And if you google it you will
- 5:24Speaker 2: see Sia and Harry Jousey holding hands photos. But it
- 5:29Speaker 2: was kind of debunked that it was just to garner
- 5:32Speaker 2: up press for this show that we're about to recap,
- 5:35Speaker 2: because she then reposted the casting notice for this show.
- 5:40Speaker 2: So how they know each other, how they're even friends,
- 5:43Speaker 2: that is actually surprising to me. But Harry has crossed
- 5:47Speaker 2: over from reality TV and is hanging out with people
- 5:50Speaker 2: like a Star Lucy Star Sea. So yeah, so he
- 5:55Speaker 2: has come a long way.
- 5:56Speaker 1: He sure has.
- 5:57Speaker 2: And so that is the whole premise of this show
- 6:00Speaker 2: show right, is that he's done with hookup culture, he's
- 6:03Speaker 2: done with being called a.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Boy, and now he's ready to get married in a month.
- 6:09Speaker 1: That's the premise of this show. So many thoughts on this, Heather,
- 6:12Speaker 1: I have so from and from an old gal, I
- 6:14Speaker 1: have a lot of thoughts.
- 6:15Speaker 2: It's a lot and I'm I'm intrigued, I'm I am hooked.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I will say that in these first two episodes that
- 6:23Speaker 2: I enjoyed it.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I enjoyed the pacing, I liked the girls.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Uh, we'll get into these, you know, spy mentors that
- 6:34Speaker 2: you know are a part of the show, because you
- 6:36Speaker 2: and I think have differing opinions on that but let's
- 6:39Speaker 2: let's just dive into the first episode.
- 6:43Speaker 1: So it opens with Harry talking.
- 6:46Speaker 2: About how he's getting married in one month and how
- 6:49Speaker 2: he grew up basically on TV in front of us.
- 6:52Speaker 2: So there's twenty women that have signed up for this show.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Harry knows that if it were up to him, he
- 6:58Speaker 2: would pick somebody toxic, so he's enlisted the help of
- 7:03Speaker 2: you know, these are the titles that they give them,
- 7:05Speaker 2: the honorary Brother, the best friend, and the ex girlfriend
- 7:08Speaker 2: to kind of, you know, help make these decisions. The
- 7:14Speaker 2: episode opened with him driving in that convertible down pch
- 7:18Speaker 2: in Malibu, and I went, what a bachelor open if
- 7:22Speaker 2: I've ever seen one.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I had such a field day with this. Yeah, I
- 7:26Speaker 1: thought it was my gut, Like my gut reaction was like,
- 7:29Speaker 1: oh oh, But if you remember the last show that
- 7:32Speaker 1: we followed, they take a little bit from every single
- 7:35Speaker 1: dating show and put it in one, and I feel
- 7:37Speaker 1: that with this one too. It feels very bacheloresque.
- 7:40Speaker 2: To me, Well, it's got to be the most bachelor
- 7:43Speaker 2: like show that we've covered, because I've said this a
- 7:46Speaker 2: couple of times, but nobody's really sticking to that. One
- 7:50Speaker 2: lead kind of mold anymore one person twenty people vying.
- 7:54Speaker 2: It's not really something that lends to a lot of
- 7:58Speaker 2: people finding love. You're only gonna to see like one
- 8:00Speaker 2: or two love connections on the entire season, whereas these
- 8:04Speaker 2: other dating shows have everybody's trying to find love and
- 8:07Speaker 2: everybody can hook up, you know, on Love Island or
- 8:10Speaker 2: something like that. So I don't know, it's it's it
- 8:13Speaker 2: is a bit of a throwback to see just one
- 8:16Speaker 2: guy being the focus, and it does bring me back to,
- 8:20Speaker 2: you know, those early two thousands dating shows that we had,
- 8:23Speaker 2: you know, Flavor of Love, Rock of Love.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Oh my god, just talking about this. So those were
- 8:30Speaker 1: my shows, and I was on reality TV a long
- 8:32Speaker 1: time ago, So what I had were you were gone
- 8:34Speaker 1: at the same time as those, just y they were
- 8:37Speaker 1: airing at the same time. But that's what I had
- 8:40Speaker 1: reality TV to base off of.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Yeah, well, first we meet the women and then we'll
- 8:43Speaker 2: get into kind of what each of the mentor's roles are.
- 8:47Speaker 1: But so I was very.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Happy when I saw this because just like Love Overboard,
- 8:55Speaker 2: ghere I said, I knew a familiar face on the cast.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I did as well.
- 8:59Speaker 2: The first girl who walks out is Emily twenty seven.
- 9:03Speaker 2: She is a medspa botox injector, and I know her
- 9:07Speaker 2: because I put her on a dating show four years ago.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Stop it.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Yeah, So Emily is amazing. She's so sweet, she's so adorable.
- 9:16Speaker 2: I cast her for CBS's The Real Love Boat, which
- 9:21Speaker 2: is hosted by Jerry O'Connell and his wife Rebecca Romain,
- 9:25Speaker 2: and I don't think anybody watched it, so that's okay.
- 9:29Speaker 2: And Emily ended up winning that dating show, so I
- 9:35Speaker 2: can't tell you how that show went because I didn't
- 9:37Speaker 2: even watch it. But she's a sweetheart and so I
- 9:41Speaker 2: love seeing her on this. But I don't want to
- 9:43Speaker 2: spoil what we're going to get to in episode two
- 9:45Speaker 2: about her just yet for anybody listening who maybe hasn't watched.
- 9:50Speaker 2: But the second I saw her walk out, I went, well,
- 9:52Speaker 2: that is the most polar opposite to who Harry is
- 9:57Speaker 2: and like hookup culture, Like I I already know her story,
- 10:02Speaker 2: so that was like kind of funny to me.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Did she catch your attention right away? Not really? But
- 10:07Speaker 1: I'm surprised now that I know this, that she comes
- 10:10Speaker 1: back for another go at reality television, but for this
- 10:13Speaker 1: show in particular, in particular.
- 10:15Speaker 2: I am surprised that this is the show that she
- 10:17Speaker 2: was down to do. But I'm rooting for her and
- 10:21Speaker 2: I adore her. She's a very sweet girl. We're gonna
- 10:25Speaker 2: not go through all twenty girls because we were talking
- 10:28Speaker 2: off Mike, but not all twenty get a shining moment.
- 10:31Speaker 2: So we'll pick a couple here that kind of stood out.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Faith twenty four nursing student. She says she's a hopeless
- 10:38Speaker 2: romantic looking for her Prince Charming, calls herself a Mexican
- 10:43Speaker 2: Rapunzel and grew up in a strict.
- 10:45Speaker 1: How I love her, I love very cute.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I love very very cute. She's not cute, she is gorgeous.
- 10:53Speaker 2: She is smoking hot. She's smoking when we see her
- 10:55Speaker 2: later in that bathing suit. I had some things I
- 10:58Speaker 2: have written next to my note for her. In that
- 11:00Speaker 2: bathing suit, I was like whoa. And I'm straight, and
- 11:03Speaker 2: I was like whoa.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I thought this, where are they finding these girls? I
- 11:10Speaker 1: know you work in tow are they just like hanging
- 11:13Speaker 1: out on Instagram all day? Because even still, I know
- 11:16Speaker 1: a lot of the women didn't stand out, but they
- 11:18Speaker 1: are all so beautiful, They're so gorgeous. I'll tell you.
- 11:22Speaker 2: You know, in my experience.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Hot people know hot people.
- 11:31Speaker 2: So it's not like one hot girl runs around with
- 11:35Speaker 2: a bunch of uggos. She runs around with other hot people,
- 11:39Speaker 2: and so you find one and then you start.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Just digging through.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Oh, this person's cute, this one's cute, this one's her cousin.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Da da da da, and you just kind of like
- 11:49Speaker 2: make your way through. If you're good at your job,
- 11:50Speaker 2: this is what we do. They run in herds, yes,
- 11:53Speaker 2: and it's not hard to find people that are kind
- 11:57Speaker 2: of connected or if they can't do it, they have
- 11:59Speaker 2: a hot friend who might be interested to do it.
- 12:01Speaker 2: So that's one way that we kind of find people.
- 12:05Speaker 2: But it sounds like they also did very big. I mean,
- 12:08Speaker 2: Asia is posting.
- 12:09Speaker 1: The casting notice for this.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I'm sure they got a lot of really great submissions
- 12:13Speaker 2: for this show. Sammy twenty nine, she's a pilates instructor.
- 12:18Speaker 2: She's a single mom to a seven year old boy,
- 12:21Speaker 2: and she says that she's doing this for both of them.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I love that they put her in there. I love
- 12:27Speaker 1: that their following suit.
- 12:29Speaker 2: With some of the successful parts of other shows The
- 12:31Speaker 2: Bachelor obviously, because also Love Island last season Hudda was
- 12:36Speaker 2: a single mom, right and this season on Love Island
- 12:39Speaker 2: they had Officer Hotpants, the cop and he was a
- 12:43Speaker 2: single dad.
- 12:44Speaker 1: So the single parent on the dating show is on
- 12:47Speaker 1: the rise. It pulls at your heart strings. You cannot
- 12:50Speaker 1: help you don't see it yet, but further in the episode,
- 12:52Speaker 1: when she's talking about missing her child, it pulls on
- 12:54Speaker 1: the heart strings of all of the other mothers that
- 12:57Speaker 1: are watching. This is her fairy tale ending. Who doesn't
- 12:59Speaker 1: like a good love story. I don't know about it,
- 13:04Speaker 1: but but I will say I was.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I was kind of intrigued when overall in this cast,
- 13:11Speaker 2: I'm hearing single mom, her divorced a handful of times
- 13:16Speaker 2: from girls, and I was like, yeah, like this is cool,
- 13:20Speaker 2: Like we're bringing in like not just typical.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Girl next door, a little rough around the edges.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and we had you know, we have some bottle
- 13:29Speaker 2: service girls in there, but it's like bottle service, but
- 13:31Speaker 2: I'm also a nurse, you know, so.
- 13:34Speaker 1: You know that I make money, but I'm also super intelligent. Yeah,
- 13:36Speaker 1: I mean, listen there.
- 13:38Speaker 2: It was a nice mixture, I thought when I was
- 13:41Speaker 2: hearing kind of all of these girls, you know, talking
- 13:43Speaker 2: and introducing themselves, A lot of them have similar names, though,
- 13:48Speaker 2: which was very distracting, very distracted.
- 13:51Speaker 1: There's a Maya A, there's a Maya B. There's a Sammy,
- 13:54Speaker 1: There's Samantha, Sammy Samantha. Then there's also Dabbrielly.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I've never heard that name before. But anyways, Juliana is thirty.
- 14:06Speaker 2: She's a corporate healthcare recruiter. She got divorced three years
- 14:10Speaker 2: ago from her high school sweetheart. She is not going
- 14:13Speaker 2: to settle again. She's not our only divorced girl. We
- 14:16Speaker 2: do hear from another one later on. She doesn't use
- 14:19Speaker 2: it in her opening package. She kind of slips it
- 14:21Speaker 2: in with Harry on their first little one on one.
- 14:23Speaker 1: But again, I thought that was cool. I'm down for
- 14:25Speaker 1: the fact that she's thirty two. So they put our
- 14:27Speaker 1: young girls in here, which is what they typically do
- 14:29Speaker 1: in casting. There's a lot of young girls who are
- 14:32Speaker 1: if I'm ready for our prince charge, like twenty two.
- 14:34Speaker 1: They just barely moved out of mom's house because Harry's
- 14:36Speaker 1: twenty eight. But is he yes, physically he is. I
- 14:41Speaker 1: think mentally he might be too. I will say this,
- 14:45Speaker 1: you know.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Harry kind of does open up in this first episode
- 14:49Speaker 2: about that he lost his dad last year when he
- 14:52Speaker 2: was twenty seven, and I was twenty seven.
- 14:56Speaker 1: When I lost my mom, and I know.
- 14:59Speaker 2: That that is is a very pivotal life change for
- 15:04Speaker 2: any you know, young person, and it does really put
- 15:06Speaker 2: some things into perspective. I won't go into a lot
- 15:10Speaker 2: of details, but there is a recent podcast interview that
- 15:13Speaker 2: Harry did and it's a really moving interview.
- 15:19Speaker 1: That I watched just on my own.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I mean, I don't think I was even anticipating us
- 15:23Speaker 2: recapping this show, and I just watched.
- 15:26Speaker 1: It, and.
- 15:29Speaker 2: It really did make me kind of look at Harry
- 15:32Speaker 2: in a different way, in a more mature way. And
- 15:38Speaker 2: so I do have a feel I have a feeling
- 15:41Speaker 2: like now when I when I watch this, I do
- 15:44Speaker 2: feel a little bit more connected to him at this
- 15:47Speaker 2: point that we've gone through a similar experience in life.
- 15:51Speaker 1: That I am rooting for him. I am.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I'm there are glimmers of still the boy in him
- 15:58Speaker 2: when I'm watching this, but I really do think that
- 16:02Speaker 2: he is starting to change and mature. And I say
- 16:05Speaker 2: that because you kind of can't not mature when you
- 16:10Speaker 2: experience something like that in life. And so I think
- 16:15Speaker 2: all of this kind of happening around this time, and
- 16:19Speaker 2: him putting a different focus on how he approaches love
- 16:23Speaker 2: and dating and relationships.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I think is really interesting and I'm rooting for him.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Can we also be frank that there's probably a part
- 16:30Speaker 1: of him is like mine need some image help here.
- 16:35Speaker 2: I don't think I don't think he I don't think
- 16:37Speaker 2: he suffers from a bad image.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I don't think.
- 16:42Speaker 2: That girls are out there calling him toxic or horrible.
- 16:47Speaker 2: I just think he's kind of a playboy and he's
- 16:49Speaker 2: how they're having fun. But I don't think he's mean,
- 16:52Speaker 2: you know, and I don't think he's like I don't
- 16:55Speaker 2: think he's like gross. Now we'll get into it because
- 16:59Speaker 2: I did do a little dig on Georgia, the ex
- 17:02Speaker 2: girlfriend who's a part of this show, because I kind
- 17:04Speaker 2: of was like, I want to know why they broke up,
- 17:06Speaker 2: and so I looked into that.
- 17:08Speaker 1: We got Lauren.
- 17:09Speaker 2: She's thirty, she's a nurse, and uh, that's the one,
- 17:13Speaker 2: like we said earlier, that were you know, got us
- 17:16Speaker 2: into this show because she's from Joey's season.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Now, did she get a lot of camera time in
- 17:20Speaker 1: this first episode? No, she didn't remember her from Joey's season.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I can't say I do because I actually didn't watch
- 17:26Speaker 1: Joey sees. I didn't watch Joey.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Sorry. I am a big Bachelor fan. But there have
- 17:33Speaker 2: definitely been seasons that I dipped out on, you.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Know, and that was one of them.
- 17:38Speaker 2: First.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I wasn't walking on Almost Famous then, so I didn't
- 17:41Speaker 1: really have a need to watch it. I she didn't
- 17:44Speaker 1: stand out, unfortunately, but if you blinked, you saw her
- 17:47Speaker 1: come out and you saw her leave, well, might be
- 17:51Speaker 1: the same this time around.
- 17:53Speaker 2: So Harry ends up pulling up to me his friends,
- 17:57Speaker 2: the three people that are going to kind of be
- 17:59Speaker 2: mentor bring him through this process. And that's when we
- 18:02Speaker 2: get to meet Amanda Klutes. She's his friend who has
- 18:06Speaker 2: helped him through grief. Now do you know who Amanda is?
- 18:09Speaker 1: I don't now. She is the only person that I
- 18:11Speaker 1: googled and that I did a deep dive because I
- 18:13Speaker 1: had to know where they're really friends or did they
- 18:15Speaker 1: just put these three people in here to just kind
- 18:17Speaker 1: of shake up the show? But apparently they are friends,
- 18:20Speaker 1: and she also had a stint on Dancing with the Stars.
- 18:22Speaker 1: It sounds like she has a recognizable name. That's about
- 18:26Speaker 1: as far as I got.
- 18:26Speaker 2: So she was a talk show host on the Talk
- 18:32Speaker 2: The Chat, I can't remember what it was called then
- 18:35Speaker 2: it was a round table, so she was a host
- 18:37Speaker 2: of that. She's very well known for being a widow.
- 18:42Speaker 2: She lost her husband Nick a handful of years ago.
- 18:45Speaker 2: She is a single mom and I think she's wonderful.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I've actually worked with her twice just this year, and
- 18:53Speaker 2: I think she's incredible. She's just so amazing in how
- 19:00Speaker 2: she conveys and talks about grief and loss, and that's
- 19:04Speaker 2: probably something that they've really connected on.
- 19:06Speaker 1: That is actually how I recognized her. It was from
- 19:09Speaker 1: her sharing much of her story on social media when
- 19:12Speaker 1: her husband died. I didn't recognize her from anything else,
- 19:15Speaker 1: but that's how I knew who she was. Yeah, that's
- 19:18Speaker 1: I think that kind of vulnerability.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Yeah, she's actually and she was married before him, and
- 19:23Speaker 2: she was divorced.
- 19:24Speaker 1: She was on Broadway.
- 19:25Speaker 2: She's had like a very very interesting life. And I
- 19:30Speaker 2: know that she also just launched a podcast about grief
- 19:33Speaker 2: this last week or two weeks ago. So we are
- 19:36Speaker 2: big fans of Amanda Clutes. I adore her. And then
- 19:39Speaker 2: the next is Georgia, his ex girlfriend. They broke up
- 19:43Speaker 2: four years ago, and he trusts her guidance. Now, I
- 19:47Speaker 2: don't know about friends people who stay friends with an ex.
- 19:50Speaker 1: That's just me personally. I'm not really into that.
- 19:55Speaker 2: But I've always thought because Georgia is from season three
- 19:59Speaker 2: of Too Hot to Hate Mandel, so I already knew
- 20:01Speaker 2: who she was. But I always thought, even then when
- 20:06Speaker 2: I saw her on that show, like, oh, she is
- 20:09Speaker 2: Margot Robbie Doupe, Like she sounds like her, she looks
- 20:12Speaker 2: like her, except for she's brunette.
- 20:15Speaker 1: And she has massive boobs.
- 20:18Speaker 2: I mean, Margot Robbie does not sure she's adorable. I
- 20:24Speaker 2: did want to know, like I said, why they broke up?
- 20:26Speaker 2: I looked at did they really date? Yes, he did
- 20:29Speaker 2: date her for a year. He dated Georgia for a
- 20:32Speaker 2: year and they broke up, and then Harry went on
- 20:37Speaker 2: call her daddy and said, like, she kind of cheated
- 20:41Speaker 2: on me, and then she came after him and it
- 20:46Speaker 2: was like a whole thing. And then somehow they were
- 20:49Speaker 2: able to mend things and now they're, you know, friends.
- 20:52Speaker 1: You don't think that they just put her on the
- 20:54Speaker 1: show because she has a recognizable name and it could
- 20:57Speaker 1: help push numbers. It it very.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Well could be that she's in the network already, she's
- 21:02Speaker 2: a familiar face.
- 21:03Speaker 1: You know, sure that very well could be because I
- 21:07Speaker 1: have a hard time too with people who stay really
- 21:08Speaker 1: close with X. But you know who stays who? You
- 21:11Speaker 1: know who stays friends with X's boys. So it actually tracks.
- 21:16Speaker 1: So I totally think that's the truth right on point.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Sonny, he's one I've never seen, and I actually didn't
- 21:23Speaker 2: do a deep dive on him. He Harry calls his
- 21:26Speaker 2: honorary brother, and Harry says he aspires to have a
- 21:30Speaker 2: life like his, and Harry is the godfather to Sonny's son,
- 21:35Speaker 2: and so they reveal kind of what the twist is.
- 21:38Speaker 2: And what makes this show different is that these three
- 21:42Speaker 2: are gonna have like a secret spy room and they
- 21:46Speaker 2: will be watching everything and all the interactions of what's
- 21:49Speaker 2: happening with the girls with each other, the girls with Harry,
- 21:53Speaker 2: like they're gonna watch it all, and so that's kind
- 21:56Speaker 2: of fun.
- 21:57Speaker 1: I think we'll get your take on it.
- 21:59Speaker 2: I think it's kind of fun because it gives a
- 22:02Speaker 2: little bit of the fly on the wall element that
- 22:05Speaker 2: we get from watching Love Island, which is all filmed
- 22:08Speaker 2: with hidden cameras and there's no host and there's no lead,
- 22:11Speaker 2: So it gives me a little bit of that because
- 22:15Speaker 2: it's kind of like you're never safe, like everybody's watching
- 22:18Speaker 2: everything and like whatever you say, and we see how
- 22:21Speaker 2: that kind of gets used against girls in you know,
- 22:24Speaker 2: the taping of the show. What it was your take
- 22:27Speaker 2: on these three being involved. I kind of feel like
- 22:31Speaker 2: they're unnecessary. I really do.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Okay, I get the whole Why not bring them in
- 22:36Speaker 1: and out in different episodes, or not tell anyone at
- 22:41Speaker 1: all that they're watching.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Why not allow that to be a whole other piece
- 22:46Speaker 2: of the show that we never know they're there.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I kind of like.
- 22:50Speaker 2: That, I will say, because they're handing the elimination power
- 22:56Speaker 2: over to them.
- 22:57Speaker 1: But I don't like that.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I do.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I know we haven't beaten there yet. No, I actually
- 23:00Speaker 1: don't like that either. I hate it.
- 23:02Speaker 2: I actually don't like that element. But I think that's
- 23:05Speaker 2: why there has to be the setup of we will
- 23:07Speaker 2: be watching you, because if they just come out and
- 23:10Speaker 2: start eliminating them, these girls would be like.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Who are you? Why are you eliminating? I don't like
- 23:15Speaker 1: it that. You see it in a lot of dating
- 23:17Speaker 1: shows where they're close loved ones or close loved ones
- 23:21Speaker 1: come in, give them their opinion, talk about who they like,
- 23:24Speaker 1: and share.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Yeah, still let the lead make his own decisions. I
- 23:30Speaker 1: don't like the concept of like these three are in charge.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I don't.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I could do without it. I don't hate it. Tell
- 23:40Speaker 1: us what you think eight four four or five almost.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Harry and the women then kind of tour the house
- 23:48Speaker 2: that they're going to be living.
- 23:49Speaker 1: In, and that's when you.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Know they already start kind of watching them behind the scenes,
- 23:58Speaker 2: and they're saying things like, whoever dates Harry has to
- 24:01Speaker 2: be secure in the fact that he has a lot
- 24:03Speaker 2: of female friends.
- 24:05Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. I don't know Harry.
- 24:07Speaker 2: But again, hot people hang with hot people, and Harry's
- 24:12Speaker 2: a hot guy, so he's hanging out with hot women.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I mean, I get it.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I think he's still very much in the scene, the
- 24:17Speaker 2: La West Hollywood kind of scene. So anyways, then we
- 24:23Speaker 2: start to get, you know, some one on one time
- 24:26Speaker 2: with the girls and Harry.
- 24:28Speaker 1: So first up is Faith my girl. I love her,
- 24:31Speaker 1: I love her. I'm putting all of my chips in
- 24:33Speaker 1: this basket.
- 24:34Speaker 2: She says she got into pediatrics because she's really into
- 24:38Speaker 2: Gray's anatomy.
- 24:40Speaker 1: It's listen, She's not wrong. It could be a solid choice. Yeah,
- 24:45Speaker 1: we liked the name and Addison from Gray's Anatomy, and
- 24:48Speaker 1: now I have a daughter named Addison.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Harry talks about being over the hookup culture and we're
- 24:58Speaker 2: going to you know, really drive a nail in this one.
- 25:01Speaker 2: And he's gets set all over and over again in
- 25:04Speaker 2: this first episode, and Faith says she wants to be
- 25:07Speaker 2: married in five years and Harry likes that sexy confidence
- 25:11Speaker 2: that she has.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Harry likes her brunette hair and her big eyes and her.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Big Harry wants a brunette is actually the other title
- 25:20Speaker 2: that they were choosing between for this show, because there
- 25:23Speaker 2: is hardly a blonde insight not.
- 25:26Speaker 1: To be not to be on this show.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Okay, so Harry and Samantha they're both geminis and she
- 25:35Speaker 2: thinks that they have a lot in common because this
- 25:38Speaker 2: is really hard hitting stuff guys on this dating show.
- 25:43Speaker 1: But I thought it was cute, Like nothing bumped me.
- 25:45Speaker 2: I don't know, maybe because it's an Alex Cooper show.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I just don't have like in depth. But then there
- 25:51Speaker 2: were there were some conversations with death and depth. You
- 25:55Speaker 2: know that that got me a little bit, but overall,
- 25:57Speaker 2: this is a flirty, fun hook up adjacent show.
- 26:02Speaker 1: This is not I'm not on board yet that Harry
- 26:05Speaker 1: is going to be this like sole person on this
- 26:08Speaker 1: new life and family and kids. I think he does
- 26:10Speaker 1: eventually want it. I think that is probably the goal,
- 26:13Speaker 1: the ten year goal, I would think, because if you.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Noted twenty eight, I don't. I gotta keep reminding myself
- 26:20Speaker 2: he's twenty eighty.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Just a baby. Don't think he's ready. Just a baby.
- 26:24Speaker 2: But he did like to tell us that he's got
- 26:27Speaker 2: like twelve nieces and nephews, be a lot.
- 26:30Speaker 1: He is definitely selling the like, look at me, I
- 26:33Speaker 1: can be the family man. I can do it. Yeah,
- 26:36Speaker 1: he's definitely trying to put it out there, and I
- 26:38Speaker 1: bet it's probably in there somewhere, but it's deep. Still,
- 26:41Speaker 1: he's got some he's got some playing still to do,
- 26:44Speaker 1: and some of these conversations when he sits down with
- 26:47Speaker 1: these ladies, he looks genuinely not interested. Well.
- 26:52Speaker 2: With Samantha, she does say that she doesn't think she
- 26:56Speaker 2: was born to be a mother, and immediately Harry's like, like, well,
- 27:00Speaker 2: I want a family, and so like then she later
- 27:05Speaker 2: says her hidden talent is that she can clap her tongue.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Why didn't we see that? I needed to see that.
- 27:12Speaker 1: We did see it. She showed it to the girls.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Oh later, not in that Yeah, I'm not yeah, not
- 27:18Speaker 1: with Harry.
- 27:18Speaker 2: She didn't say like, oh, I don't want to be
- 27:20Speaker 2: a mom, but I can clap my tongue.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Watch.
- 27:22Speaker 2: They should have let her show Harry that he's into
- 27:25Speaker 2: seeing all of the other stuff.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Maybe that would have swayed him.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Come on, then, it's Harry and Deborah le and I
- 27:43Speaker 2: just wrote down love her accent.
- 27:45Speaker 1: It is just so cute.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Like, I don't know, as a California girl, I have
- 27:52Speaker 2: the problem, right, I say, like too much, and it's
- 27:58Speaker 2: a problem. It's a problem, But I don't have a
- 28:03Speaker 2: cute Southern accent.
- 28:05Speaker 1: And I just think it's endearing and it works seat
- 28:09Speaker 1: and us girls benefit. You just bat your eyes and say,
- 28:12Speaker 1: oh baby, you are so cute. It's come on in
- 28:16Speaker 1: here and let me get you some sweet tea bag.
- 28:18Speaker 1: It's so cute.
- 28:19Speaker 2: You guys really like it.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Again. Harry says he'll be a good dad to her.
- 28:26Speaker 2: He says, I've not been good at a lot of things,
- 28:28Speaker 2: but he knows he'll be a good dad. Okay, Harry,
- 28:32Speaker 2: we're really laying this family thing on really thick. Harry
- 28:36Speaker 2: and Maya A. She was a professional dancer for most
- 28:39Speaker 2: of her life, and Harry feels like she.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Just wants to be on TV, which turns him off.
- 28:44Speaker 1: This is the one.
- 28:45Speaker 2: This is the one where he says I'm done talking
- 28:48Speaker 2: to her. In his interview, He's like, I'm done with her.
- 28:51Speaker 2: I don't want that. And then behind the scenes, the
- 28:54Speaker 2: spies are watching this too, and they already are like
- 28:57Speaker 2: not interested in her for the same reason.
- 29:00Speaker 1: But I didn't think she was that bad. I mean,
- 29:02Speaker 1: they're all there for a reason, you know what I mean,
- 29:05Speaker 1: And maybe they'll look out and find love with Harry
- 29:07Speaker 1: and they'll all run off into the sunset. But like,
- 29:10Speaker 1: I didn't actually think she was that bad.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I just think he's got to make five They've got
- 29:16Speaker 2: to make five cuts in this first episode.
- 29:19Speaker 1: And not all of these girls fit the housewife.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Not all of these girls are popping maybe in their
- 29:24Speaker 2: little chats, and so they've got to start getting just
- 29:27Speaker 2: like really stern, like cause I don't think he'd be
- 29:29Speaker 2: that crazy on night one, right, I think if you
- 29:32Speaker 2: ask any bachelor or any lead night one is kind
- 29:36Speaker 2: of stressful, right, you're not, but you're also not really
- 29:39Speaker 2: like you don't.
- 29:41Speaker 1: It's terrible. It's based on attraction because you don't really
- 29:45Speaker 1: know anybody unless they made that first impression. Unless it's
- 29:48Speaker 1: somebody and major first impression. He literally know from experience.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I was like, I don't care. I want these three
- 29:54Speaker 1: to stay. You can call the rest. That's how this works. Peep, Sorry,
- 30:00Speaker 1: Harry and Charlie.
- 30:02Speaker 2: He opens up about the loss of his father to her,
- 30:05Speaker 2: and then in the interview he talks about the rocky
- 30:08Speaker 2: relationship between his parents and how his dad was reflecting
- 30:12Speaker 2: on that before he passed away, and Herry gets really
- 30:15Speaker 2: emotional talking about this. So basically, his parents were divorced
- 30:19Speaker 2: and then not on good terms, and then his dad
- 30:22Speaker 2: was talking a lot about that in his final days.
- 30:26Speaker 2: This is our first moment, Heather, this is this is
- 30:28Speaker 2: the emotional Yeah, this is the first real emotional moment
- 30:32Speaker 2: we get from Harry. And again, I've lost my parents
- 30:40Speaker 2: were divorced, I've lost a parent, and I've my parents
- 30:44Speaker 2: were on very good terms. But there was a lot
- 30:47Speaker 2: of conversations like that happening towards the end, and it's.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Heavy and.
- 30:55Speaker 2: When you go through I think he mentions this, right,
- 30:58Speaker 2: when you go through grief like that and you're alone
- 31:01Speaker 2: and you don't have anybody to lean on and come
- 31:03Speaker 2: home to, it's really really hard and.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Lonely.
- 31:10Speaker 2: And I think that that's a lot of what Harry's
- 31:12Speaker 2: kind of expressing in these early episodes is just that
- 31:17Speaker 2: feeling of loneliness. And I can't imagine as a man
- 31:20Speaker 2: what it must feel like to lose a father. And
- 31:27Speaker 2: I think he's the only boy in his family.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Yeah, he talks about her sisters, So get a lot
- 31:32Speaker 1: of that in this whole in this whole episode up
- 31:36Speaker 1: until this point of him saying I want to get married,
- 31:38Speaker 1: I want to have children, I want to do this,
- 31:40Speaker 1: and it looked just like words to me. For me,
- 31:43Speaker 1: this was the first moment that we saw a little crack,
- 31:45Speaker 1: we saw just a little break into who Harry really is.
- 31:49Speaker 1: For me as a viewer, this was the first time
- 31:51Speaker 1: where I was like, oh, maybe maybe he could do
- 31:54Speaker 1: the whole marriage and kid thing. You get to see
- 31:57Speaker 1: just the slightest bit of vulnerability with him right here
- 32:00Speaker 1: where he shows just a little bit of humanity. I'm
- 32:05Speaker 1: going to say something maybe controversial.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Do you think that sometimes the playboy or the playgirl
- 32:14Speaker 2: doesn't actually settle down until an oopsie happens, and that's
- 32:19Speaker 2: when stuff gets real.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Sometimes, Yes, I would agree.
- 32:25Speaker 2: I would agree with people where it's like they're almost
- 32:28Speaker 2: forced into it, the party comes to a screeching halt
- 32:31Speaker 2: because life happens, and they rise to the occasion, not
- 32:36Speaker 2: you know, not saying it's easy. And I think I'm
- 32:39Speaker 2: not a parent, but I've heard a lot of parents
- 32:41Speaker 2: say you're never fully ready to be a parent.
- 32:44Speaker 1: You know, you learn as you go, So I don't know.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Maybe that's also kind of Harry's future, where it's like
- 32:52Speaker 2: he's open to it happening at this point, and like
- 32:55Speaker 2: maybe he's not putting it technically into motion, but if
- 32:58Speaker 2: it happened, he would rise to the occasion.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I think there's a path, right, I think there's a path,
- 33:02Speaker 1: and maybe he's just starting to head down that path.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I think he has many years of gury still to go,
- 33:10Speaker 1: but I do think that he is just starting to
- 33:12Speaker 1: get down the path. That's it.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Yeah, Charlie opens back up to him and says that
- 33:18Speaker 2: you know she hasn't lost a parent, but that her
- 33:20Speaker 2: mom has multiple multiple sclerosis, and they kind of hug
- 33:26Speaker 2: and have that emotional connection. I wrote later on because
- 33:31Speaker 2: I think, you know, a little moment with him and
- 33:33Speaker 2: Charlie is sweet. But then fast forward she goes onto
- 33:37Speaker 2: the group date and I will.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I had high home after this conversation. I had high
- 33:42Speaker 1: hopes for this girl. I really did. Yeah, that not good.
- 33:47Speaker 2: So then Harry lets all the other girls know that
- 33:50Speaker 2: he's been keeping a secret. He's got these spies behind,
- 33:53Speaker 2: you know, the scenes, helping him out. And they come
- 33:56Speaker 2: out and they say that they will be putting the
- 33:58Speaker 2: women in Harry through a series a compatibility test. If
- 34:02Speaker 2: they are compatible, they will go on dates. If they
- 34:04Speaker 2: don't think they are compatible with Harry, they will be
- 34:07Speaker 2: sent home. And so they just ride away pick five
- 34:10Speaker 2: girls that they want to go on a group date
- 34:13Speaker 2: with Harry the next day, and that's Charlie, Deborah, Lee,
- 34:16Speaker 2: Maya Bee, Sam and Faith and everybody's like Sam.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Nobody Sam.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Everybody's like Sam, you didn't even talk to him, what's happening?
- 34:25Speaker 2: And all of them then have to justify why they've
- 34:28Speaker 2: chosen Sam, and they are all like, well, that's his type.
- 34:33Speaker 1: You're going on the date because you fit.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Harry's the mold of like what he's interested in physically,
- 34:41Speaker 2: and so that's kind of funny that they're all like,
- 34:44Speaker 2: I actually spoke.
- 34:45Speaker 1: To him and he didn't choose me.
- 34:47Speaker 2: You didn't even talk to him and he chose you.
- 34:49Speaker 2: So yes, ladies, the first night is based on looks.
- 34:53Speaker 2: That is what happens. So the next day they go
- 34:55Speaker 2: on this boat date and they talk about that everybody
- 34:58Speaker 2: is a brunette, so clearly that Harry has a type.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Did you see him stumble though there's no blondes are
- 35:04Speaker 1: great too, I'm watching him like Harry, Why why even
- 35:10Speaker 1: the girl see it too? It's funny.
- 35:13Speaker 2: If I had to be really deep, i'd also notice
- 35:15Speaker 2: that there's not maybe a wide range of diversity on
- 35:18Speaker 2: this show. But that's that's just the way things are
- 35:22Speaker 2: tending to go now on shows.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Charlie, like I said, I.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Wrote, seems so serious on this date, I guess wrote, uh.
- 35:32Speaker 1: And when they're going around in the circle and they're
- 35:34Speaker 1: talking about their type, right, everybody's a little funny. And
- 35:36Speaker 1: then and then Faith is like, well, I'm in my
- 35:38Speaker 1: rat boy era. And then it gets to Charlie and
- 35:40Speaker 1: she's like I date for personality, so part of me
- 35:44Speaker 1: is like, yeah, girl, me too. Go ahead. You're also
- 35:46Speaker 1: on a show with a guy who has a past
- 35:49Speaker 1: of like too hot to handle. She also just talks
- 35:53Speaker 1: so slow that I.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Was just like, wake up a shot. You are on
- 36:00Speaker 2: a boat with Harry jouson what.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Are you doing?
- 36:03Speaker 2: I was just like, I just really wrote in the
- 36:05Speaker 2: note so serious. And then back at the house, Sammy,
- 36:10Speaker 2: like we said, our single mom, she is feeling a
- 36:13Speaker 2: lot of guilt being away from her son, and she
- 36:15Speaker 2: gets very emotional. It's funny because later on then she's
- 36:19Speaker 2: outside chatting with somebody else and she's like, oh, blah
- 36:23Speaker 2: blah blah, I just you know, I miss my son.
- 36:25Speaker 2: And the girl goes, what and she goes, yeah, I'm
- 36:28Speaker 2: a mom. Didn't she know that? And the girl goes,
- 36:31Speaker 2: I just met you?
- 36:32Speaker 1: Why would I know that? She was like, why would
- 36:37Speaker 1: I know that? I just met you? And then she goes,
- 36:40Speaker 1: you're a mom. That's cool. Also, what's his name?
- 36:48Speaker 2: Lauren talks about in the real world how she probably
- 36:51Speaker 2: wouldn't like the idea of dating someone who's best friends
- 36:54Speaker 2: with their ex. Hey, Lauren, me me, you were on
- 36:58Speaker 2: that one especially when and his ex is Georgia and
- 37:01Speaker 2: she's hot and she looks like Margot Robbie. Yeah, wouldn't
- 37:05Speaker 2: want that.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Girl judging me. Harry and Maya then they go down
- 37:10Speaker 1: the oyster.
- 37:11Speaker 2: So they have these like little mini dates on the boat,
- 37:14Speaker 2: and so Maya Bee tries oysters with him for the
- 37:18Speaker 2: first time.
- 37:19Speaker 1: I'm wondering if you caught this. How many times he
- 37:22Speaker 1: told her are we gonna gag?
- 37:25Speaker 2: No?
- 37:27Speaker 1: And I'm not even a filthy human being. At least
- 37:30Speaker 1: I think twice, if not three times he said, Okay,
- 37:33Speaker 1: are we gagging? And then they cheers the oysters. He's like,
- 37:36Speaker 1: we're gagging and they shoot the oyster.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Is he saying gagging or going gagging?
- 37:42Speaker 1: Gagging?
- 37:42Speaker 2: Maybe it's a because these people don't like oysters, that.
- 37:45Speaker 1: The texture of them. Maybe it's an Australian thing like slang.
- 37:51Speaker 2: The only time I've ever heard a man talk about gagging,
- 37:54Speaker 2: it was a very sexual innu window.
- 37:58Speaker 1: First of all, I love oyster? Do you like oysters?
- 38:01Speaker 2: My god, Heather, I almost just fell off this couch
- 38:03Speaker 2: and thought you were gonna tell me you love gagging.
- 38:05Speaker 1: I was like, oh my god, Oh I learned something
- 38:10Speaker 1: new that you want that. I love oysters. I love oysters.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I'm a foodie. I love food, but I like them
- 38:18Speaker 1: with all the accouterments. I want the cracker, I want
- 38:20Speaker 1: the horse radish, I want the hot sauce. I want
- 38:22Speaker 1: the whole thing. I'm lemon juice and down it really yeap?
- 38:26Speaker 1: Do you chew it?
- 38:28Speaker 2: No?
- 38:28Speaker 1: Swallow? He didn't. He tell her we're gagging. He cheers
- 38:41Speaker 1: the oysters and said we're gagging. And Heather's like, I'm down.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I swallow, stop stop.
- 38:48Speaker 2: I will say I love oysters. I went to New
- 38:53Speaker 2: Orleans and I had oysters and I did gag. Have
- 38:57Speaker 2: you ever had uh not on Pacific Ocean oysters?
- 39:03Speaker 1: No? But I am very well traveled and I only
- 39:06Speaker 1: have certain places in the world that I will eat,
- 39:08Speaker 1: like sushi, oysters, things like that. I'm not going to
- 39:12Speaker 1: Lexington and eating sushi. I well, you're on you're near water,
- 39:17Speaker 1: No New Orleans, mock. Do you have you smelled New
- 39:20Speaker 1: Orleans when you're flying It was my first time And
- 39:23Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say, Heather, everything when you're flying in
- 39:26Speaker 1: smells oysters.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Right. The best ones are from Washington and they're like
- 39:32Speaker 2: this big right.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Okay, So We're.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Walking around in New Orleans and we see a sign
- 39:38Speaker 2: that says oysters and it's happy hour, so we go
- 39:41Speaker 2: in there, we order oysters.
- 39:43Speaker 1: They are like the size of a softball or something.
- 39:47Speaker 2: There were massive, so right away we were shocked by
- 39:50Speaker 2: how big you have to swallow that. Yes, I'm and
- 39:54Speaker 2: I'm shocked at how big it is.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Clip it. This is so awful. So I were both single.
- 40:02Speaker 1: By the way, we're doing really well. We're doing really well,
- 40:06Speaker 1: so I ate it.
- 40:09Speaker 2: And the taste was nothing like a Pacific Ocean oyster.
- 40:16Speaker 2: I had oysters when I was in Australia this last year. Fantastic.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Those were great. This this was.
- 40:25Speaker 1: I'm not going to go into the details. I actually
- 40:29Speaker 1: I like almost I almost vomited. They bury their dead
- 40:36Speaker 1: under in sea level and you are eating those oysters, Heather,
- 40:41Speaker 1: have you not when you were landing there were you
- 40:44Speaker 1: not like, hmmm, I don't use windows sell what is
- 40:49Speaker 1: that smell?
- 40:50Speaker 2: But when you were walking around said happy hour, you
- 40:53Speaker 2: weren't like, huh, it smells like death.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Here, let's go in here and try oysters. It was
- 40:59Speaker 1: it was a choice. It was really bad.
- 41:02Speaker 2: But then we were there for a wedding, and then
- 41:04Speaker 2: so we went to the wedding the next day and
- 41:06Speaker 2: they had an oyster bar at the wedding.
- 41:08Speaker 1: It's a lot of oyster talk. We're actually an oyster
- 41:10Speaker 1: podcast now. And they did.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Fried oysters at their wedding oyster bar, and I went, well,
- 41:21Speaker 2: I guess I will try it.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Did you like it? Yes? Anything Friday?
- 41:25Speaker 2: So it was actually, yeah, it was like breaded and
- 41:28Speaker 2: something totally fine to eat the regular the raw not good.
- 41:35Speaker 2: So I learned a lesson the hard way. But they
- 41:40Speaker 2: eat oysters on the bat and.
- 41:42Speaker 1: It's my asphrodisia. Yeah, I don't know about that. You
- 41:45Speaker 1: didn't feel all goosey when you were done?
- 41:48Speaker 2: No, And also the last time I ate them, I
- 41:50Speaker 2: was alone. Wasn't feeling goosey by myself, and I.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Ate them in the middle of the day.
- 41:58Speaker 2: I actually just had some last I actually just went
- 42:01Speaker 2: walked down by the beach and had some by myself.
- 42:06Speaker 1: I just loved it, mister Fiel goosey. After that, No,
- 42:10Speaker 1: I did not. Oh my god, so Harry wasn't. It
- 42:12Speaker 1: wasn't working out work for them either.
- 42:14Speaker 2: But you know, I wouldn't ever want to do oysters.
- 42:17Speaker 2: But this This is kind of the point. This is
- 42:19Speaker 2: why they don't kiss on a first date. I always
- 42:22Speaker 2: on a first date and then want to kiss somebody,
- 42:26Speaker 2: So they don't kiss. After this, but he says he
- 42:30Speaker 2: wants to spend more time with her, and then Harry
- 42:33Speaker 2: and Deborah Lee. She likes his confidence, and Harry says
- 42:37Speaker 2: he's never had a cavity. Now I bolded this for
- 42:41Speaker 2: a reason, and that's because Harry. I have not had
- 42:45Speaker 2: a cavity either in my life. I think that's a flex.
- 42:48Speaker 2: How old are you thirty eight? Oh, you're just a
- 42:52Speaker 2: young spring chicken.
- 42:53Speaker 1: No.
- 42:54Speaker 2: If I've never had a cavity at this point in
- 42:56Speaker 2: my life, my dentist has told me, I am never going.
- 43:00Speaker 1: To have a very impressive When you go on like
- 43:04Speaker 1: any date and you lead with like, tell me something
- 43:06Speaker 1: that I don't know about you, it should be that
- 43:10Speaker 1: I'm a superhero and I've never had a cavity.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Guess how many teeth I've had removed though from my mouth?
- 43:16Speaker 2: Why overcrowding?
- 43:19Speaker 1: Really? Yeah, but you have a beautiful smile, Thank you,
- 43:23Speaker 1: I have had.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Did you have braces, yes, because they're perfect and in
- 43:26Speaker 2: vizzile line as you did get a Look at her
- 43:30Speaker 2: perfect teeth.
- 43:30Speaker 1: She has a perfect smile.
- 43:32Speaker 2: I had three teeth removed before I had braces, and
- 43:36Speaker 2: then I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed
- 43:38Speaker 2: before I did in visil Line. So I've had seven
- 43:40Speaker 2: teeth removed. I don't have canines on my top.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I don't have them. Oh my god.
- 43:47Speaker 2: It's so funny when I look at really old pictures
- 43:49Speaker 2: of myself, and that's the first thing I noticed is
- 43:51Speaker 2: I go, oh, my gosh, those little fangs.
- 43:54Speaker 1: I don't have those anymore.
- 43:56Speaker 2: How old were you, uh, fourteen when I got those removed?
- 44:01Speaker 1: Oh my god. And I only had three wisdom teeth.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I didn't have all four. It was a gnarly day
- 44:06Speaker 1: to get them all out. Say that. Yeah, okay, So
- 44:10Speaker 1: then Harry and Charlie. I'm glad they put them on
- 44:15Speaker 1: a jet ski Heather because I couldn't take another painful conversation,
- 44:19Speaker 1: and she is not happy about having to ride the
- 44:21Speaker 1: jet ski. We take the only black girl on the
- 44:23Speaker 1: show and make her get on a jet ski.
- 44:26Speaker 2: She's not the only one, but yes, uh, I believe Amber.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Oh you're right, I forgot about her. Yeah, we'll get
- 44:35Speaker 1: to her. She's a pistol. She's a pistol.
- 44:38Speaker 2: That she's doing something I think the kids call nagging,
- 44:43Speaker 2: and I'll tell you all about that. But yeah, he
- 44:46Speaker 2: even says, we're on a jet ski and even I
- 44:48Speaker 2: can tell she's too serious.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Yeah, he says in his interview, like too serious and
- 44:53Speaker 1: sometimes Harry just wants to have a laugh. Yeah, I
- 44:56Speaker 1: don't blame you, Harry. She is Dolesville.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Then he gets to move on to my girl Faith.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Well wait no, then we go to Sam. Oh, come on,
- 45:05Speaker 2: this is big.
- 45:07Speaker 1: This is a big.
- 45:07Speaker 2: First one because Harry rubs suntan lotion on her legs
- 45:11Speaker 2: and then she says like, I'll rub it on you.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Harry is roasting in roasting. He is first of all cut.
- 45:20Speaker 2: This is actually something I didn't like about this show,
- 45:23Speaker 2: and this is just me being really nitpicky. I can
- 45:26Speaker 2: tell that the show is a little bit low budge
- 45:29Speaker 2: in the sense that Harry's covering his eyes in a
- 45:32Speaker 2: shot because the sun is just beaming straight into his eyes.
- 45:36Speaker 2: And before that, when the experts were out on the
- 45:40Speaker 2: driveway meeting the women, Amanda Klutes is also getting the
- 45:44Speaker 2: sun in her eyes, and guys, on a normal set,
- 45:48Speaker 2: you have somebody with a visor blocking the sun so
- 45:50Speaker 2: it's not in the talent's eyes and they're all squinting
- 45:53Speaker 2: like this. But if it's a low budge, shoot, you
- 45:56Speaker 2: don't have somebody to do that.
- 45:57Speaker 1: So that's what makes me think it's a little low budge. Yeah.
- 46:00Speaker 2: But so she starts rubbing suntan lotion on him, and
- 46:04Speaker 2: then Harry goes in for the first kiss of the show.
- 46:09Speaker 1: This is like the same goal for me because the
- 46:12Speaker 1: show is perfect. You're watching them kiss and all the
- 46:15Speaker 1: girls are in the background watching.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Of course, all of them in the same they're also
- 46:20Speaker 2: all in the same frame. They're all sitting literally pressed
- 46:24Speaker 2: up against the glass watching.
- 46:26Speaker 1: He's gotta know they're watching. Yes, he knows that they're watching.
- 46:29Speaker 2: He doesn't care because he's Harry Jowsey and he's been
- 46:32Speaker 2: on multiple dating shows and he probably doesn't even realize
- 46:35Speaker 2: cameras are there anymore. He kisses so much on television. Okay,
- 46:51Speaker 2: so that's the end of episode one. We get the
- 46:53Speaker 2: preview for the next episode, which is that there will
- 46:55Speaker 2: be an elimination ceremony Harry kissing a bunch of girls,
- 46:59Speaker 2: women being Hattie and jealous, and then episode two kicks off.
- 47:03Speaker 2: We're still on the boat. We're on this group day.
- 47:06Speaker 2: And this is when Faith says, oh.
- 47:09Speaker 1: She's getting a first kiss. I'm gonna go in.
- 47:12Speaker 2: And get an even longer kiss or something. What does
- 47:15Speaker 2: she say to the other girls. You can just see
- 47:18Speaker 2: how young Faith is here. I'm all for it. I mean,
- 47:22Speaker 2: I like her. She's so beautiful, she's so hot. Harry's
- 47:25Speaker 2: into it too, he is, well, tell me what, Harry says. Okay,
- 47:28Speaker 2: So they get on and their mini date is massages.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Now they're supposed to be each getting massaged by professionals,
- 47:36Speaker 2: and Faith goes, I'll give you a massage, and Harry's like,
- 47:39Speaker 2: oh really and yeah, So she shoes the massuse away
- 47:46Speaker 2: in her bathing suit.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Straddles Harry bikini too. She is crazy, what did I
- 47:51Speaker 1: put here in all caps? Her body is great, it
- 47:56Speaker 1: is gorgeous.
- 47:57Speaker 2: And so she straddles him, and Harry says he likes
- 48:01Speaker 2: that Faith made a move by giving him a massage.
- 48:05Speaker 1: The massage looked painful to me, the way she was
- 48:07Speaker 1: really man handling him. He seemed to like it, but
- 48:10Speaker 1: it looked painful. He looked uncomfortable. His face was like
- 48:13Speaker 1: scrunched and squinting. I mean, I think he liked that
- 48:16Speaker 1: she was straddling him for sure. Maybe she was just
- 48:20Speaker 1: showing him what she's into.
- 48:26Speaker 2: They kiss, And do you notice how whenever I write
- 48:31Speaker 2: that they kiss in the notes, I put lots of
- 48:33Speaker 2: exclamation marks. Yeah, I do that because that's actually how
- 48:37Speaker 2: I watched the show. Like, when I'm writing and watching
- 48:39Speaker 2: at the same time, I go, they kiss, and I
- 48:43Speaker 2: say it out loud as I'm typing it. They kiss
- 48:46Speaker 2: with a lot of exclamation marks. Harry says the sexual
- 48:49Speaker 2: energy between them is electric, and her ass is the
- 48:53Speaker 2: size of a small planet, and he wants to put
- 48:55Speaker 2: his face in it.
- 48:56Speaker 1: I was so here for that moment. We're getting all
- 49:00Speaker 1: sides of Harry. We're getting playboy, we're getting settled down Harry,
- 49:03Speaker 1: We're getting boy Harry. We're getting all the pieces, and
- 49:06Speaker 1: in this moment, he says exactly what is on his mind,
- 49:09Speaker 1: and he wants to eat her literally like a little snack.
- 49:12Speaker 2: And they give some nice shots of her ass and
- 49:15Speaker 2: faith I'm gonna just say that probably ten years from now,
- 49:19Speaker 2: twenty years from now, you're gonna be glad that that
- 49:22Speaker 2: lives on television, on the internet, you're gonna be like,
- 49:26Speaker 2: look at my ass, Look how hot I was or
- 49:30Speaker 2: still am. Back at the house, the girls filled the
- 49:34Speaker 2: rest in on their group date because now that it's over,
- 49:37Speaker 2: in their back and Faith tells some of the girls
- 49:40Speaker 2: that she made out with Harry the whole time.
- 49:42Speaker 1: We didn't talk, we just made out. And they don't
- 49:45Speaker 1: like that. Nobody likes it. They do not like hearing
- 49:48Speaker 1: that at all. And just remember people are watching you.
- 49:54Speaker 2: So then Harry and Sammy chat and Sammy says that
- 49:58Speaker 2: the first day was overwhelming for her and fills in
- 50:02Speaker 2: Harry that she's a single mom of a seven year old,
- 50:05Speaker 2: and she gets emotional even just like saying her kid's name,
- 50:08Speaker 2: and Harry's like, that's cool, congrats.
- 50:12Speaker 1: This is another moment that I wondered. I was dying
- 50:14Speaker 1: to text you if you saw it too. He's like,
- 50:17Speaker 1: oh wow, congratulations, congrats that you have a child.
- 50:21Speaker 2: He even responds and makes a joke and says, oh, yeah,
- 50:23Speaker 2: well he's seven, congratulations he was birds seven years ago.
- 50:29Speaker 2: She says she wants to find a man who wants
- 50:31Speaker 2: kids because she wants more, and Harry says he wants
- 50:34Speaker 2: kids too, and he says, you know that he's got
- 50:37Speaker 2: twelve nieces and nephews, and then Harry goes in for
- 50:40Speaker 2: the kiss. Lots of tongue in this kiss, and I wrote,
- 50:43Speaker 2: eeke because it just keeps showing we're like morphing into
- 50:48Speaker 2: the same person. Because I had the exact same thought
- 50:51Speaker 2: right that I could see his tongue coming in and
- 50:53Speaker 2: out of his mouth into her mouth, and I was like,
- 50:54Speaker 2: it's just unnecessary.
- 50:56Speaker 1: It's it made me want to ask you how you
- 51:00Speaker 1: feel about first kiss tongue? Oh, I like it?
- 51:04Speaker 2: Well, I think a little bit if the chemistry is
- 51:08Speaker 2: there not not like Harry was eating her like he
- 51:11Speaker 2: was having her.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I don't need that. That's saved for
- 51:15Speaker 1: like the bedroom, the passionate part of things. He was
- 51:19Speaker 1: having his way with her in that moment and she
- 51:21Speaker 1: was all, no, no, I have a child.
- 51:23Speaker 2: Literally the conversation was I'm a mommy, and then he
- 51:26Speaker 2: was like, come here, mommy, and like like but they
- 51:28Speaker 2: caught the angle from the side and he could literally
- 51:31Speaker 2: see his tongue.
- 51:32Speaker 1: There was a lot and I will just.
- 51:37Speaker 2: My feeling on tongue is similar to like they say
- 51:41Speaker 2: in the wedding singer Church tongue not porno tongue. That's
- 51:46Speaker 2: what I think is appropriate. So then the ladies are
- 51:52Speaker 2: getting ready and Faith again fills in some of the
- 51:55Speaker 2: women about how she offered to give Harry the massage.
- 51:59Speaker 1: They were like, oh, you guys.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Weren't you weren't supposed to do that, And She's like, no,
- 52:03Speaker 2: I just like took control.
- 52:05Speaker 1: The women are like, not happy with that, my poor girl.
- 52:09Speaker 2: Later, the other women on the boat talk about watching
- 52:12Speaker 2: all the boat kissing. Harry's feeling overwhelmed by who his
- 52:17Speaker 2: friends are going to choose for him and who they
- 52:19Speaker 2: will eliminate. He says he cannot make this choice for himself.
- 52:23Speaker 2: So then Jade interesting one Jade. She jokingly asks him
- 52:30Speaker 2: if he's getting married for a green card.
- 52:34Speaker 1: I love that. Yeah, I loved it, and uh he
- 52:37Speaker 1: says no, And he says that. He starts talking about
- 52:40Speaker 1: his mom has a farm full of animals.
- 52:42Speaker 2: They connect, They talk a lot about pigs and horses,
- 52:47Speaker 2: and then again Jade wants to get married. She thinks
- 52:49Speaker 2: that they're vibing, and the next day, Samantha, she talks
- 52:55Speaker 2: with the girls about being from a very Catholic family
- 52:59Speaker 2: but that she was encouraged to come and do this experience.
- 53:03Speaker 1: And then she says she quit her job for this,
- 53:05Speaker 1: and I was like, oh, Samantha did not take Reality
- 53:08Speaker 1: TV one oh one before she did this? Whoa girl?
- 53:11Speaker 2: And I would I would have been like, hey, Harry,
- 53:13Speaker 2: I quit my job for you. Look, I would have
- 53:16Speaker 2: probably dropped that knowledge like early on, especially.
- 53:19Speaker 1: When you know there's eliminations. I just had to double
- 53:23Speaker 1: check for a second there on how old Samantha is
- 53:26Speaker 1: in twenty ten, So maybe your job. She's probably working
- 53:31Speaker 1: at Little Lemon. So hold on, Samantha is Remember I
- 53:33Speaker 1: said we weren't going to go through them all. Samantha.
- 53:36Speaker 2: I wrote down her name and never wrote anything else
- 53:40Speaker 2: about her because I was like.
- 53:43Speaker 1: She didn't speak.
- 53:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, So I don't actually look at all of them.
- 53:50Speaker 1: I have their jobs except for her. I don't even
- 53:52Speaker 1: have her job, okay, Samantha. So yeah, we don't know
- 53:56Speaker 1: what to you.
- 53:57Speaker 2: It's just blank, yeah twenty three, the twenty three and
- 54:01Speaker 2: no job because I didn't catch that, And so we
- 54:05Speaker 2: don't know what job you quit. Maybe you're a rocket
- 54:07Speaker 2: scientist and you quit that right to be with Harry. Right,
- 54:11Speaker 2: we'll never know, or maybe we will know if you
- 54:13Speaker 2: come on the pod. Harry goes and meets with his
- 54:16Speaker 2: mentors and says he can feel the sexual chemistry with
- 54:20Speaker 2: Faith obviously, obviously. But his mentors fill him in that
- 54:25Speaker 2: she's been bragging about the kissing and all of that
- 54:28Speaker 2: since she got home, and Harry thinks that this is
- 54:31Speaker 2: a red flag.
- 54:33Speaker 1: This is exaggerated. I have to defend Faith here, I
- 54:37Speaker 1: have to. I didn't feel like it was bragging. I
- 54:39Speaker 1: thought she was just telling her friends, her friends about
- 54:43Speaker 1: her date. No, why didn't feels calculating. It was calculating.
- 54:48Speaker 2: Listen, she saw that other girl kiss and she went,
- 54:52Speaker 2: I'm gonna go kiss even longer, like that was the
- 54:55Speaker 2: first thing she said in front of everybody.
- 54:57Speaker 1: She knew what she was doing.
- 54:59Speaker 2: She was flexing, and listen, this is the thing with
- 55:01Speaker 2: these shows is the cast is not made up of
- 55:05Speaker 2: a bunch of wallflowers. The cast is made up with
- 55:07Speaker 2: alpha females for a reason. It's like, these are the
- 55:10Speaker 2: girls who take charge, who don't like sit back and
- 55:14Speaker 2: wait for the guy.
- 55:15Speaker 1: They go full force.
- 55:16Speaker 2: And that's where the competition comes in, because this is
- 55:19Speaker 2: competition elimination people. And she knows what she's doing, So
- 55:24Speaker 2: Harry thinks that's a red flag.
- 55:25Speaker 1: I don't know, Harry if you should think it's a
- 55:27Speaker 1: red flag.
- 55:27Speaker 2: But whatever, Harry thinks he has sexual chemistry with Sammy
- 55:33Speaker 2: and jokes he wants to see her boobs, and then
- 55:37Speaker 2: they scold him for saying this.
- 55:40Speaker 1: The mentors, and then the mentors straight up.
- 55:42Speaker 2: Say we want to send Jade home. They don't like
- 55:45Speaker 2: her energy. Well, I was like, WHOA. I wasn't expecting
- 55:48Speaker 2: them to say right then who they wanted to go home?
- 55:50Speaker 2: I thought they were going to tiptoe around it. Let
- 55:54Speaker 2: me go to our elimination ceremony, which doesn't even have
- 55:56Speaker 2: a name. I think we should call it the ring
- 55:58Speaker 2: ceremony because we kind of skipped over this. But they
- 56:02Speaker 2: all get a fake engagement ring when they walk into
- 56:05Speaker 2: the show. They're all proudly wearing and they all proudly
- 56:07Speaker 2: have to wear it, and then when they get eliminated.
- 56:10Speaker 1: They have to put it back in the box. And
- 56:12Speaker 1: you do notice that when they're walking in, they're walking
- 56:14Speaker 1: into a wedding ceremony. It's a wedding venue essentially, is
- 56:19Speaker 1: what it looks like. Yours are set up on either side.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Yes, he is at the altar yes, they all walk
- 56:24Speaker 2: to like some sort of gazebo huppah in this yard
- 56:29Speaker 2: and they.
- 56:31Speaker 1: Sit him out.
- 56:31Speaker 2: The best man and his best woman are up there exactly,
- 56:34Speaker 2: and I wrote, I wrote, side note, Harry looks hot
- 56:39Speaker 2: in this outfit. He is wearing a black sweater and slacks,
- 56:42Speaker 2: and that sweater was hugging in all the right places.
- 56:47Speaker 2: And I really do think men, if any of you
- 56:50Speaker 2: are listening, I don't think you are. I think it's
- 56:51Speaker 2: all women.
- 56:54Speaker 1: There's not enough sweater wearing with men.
- 56:57Speaker 2: Not on the West Coast anyways, I'm not seeing it.
- 57:00Speaker 2: And we got to bring back the men wearing sweaters
- 57:03Speaker 2: because Harry.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Was working it.
- 57:06Speaker 2: As long as it's not a turtleneck. I actually don't
- 57:09Speaker 2: hate a turtleneck. No heather on a grown man. It
- 57:12Speaker 2: is a huge ic for me. No grown men in turtlenecks.
- 57:15Speaker 2: Not even like a mocked turtleneck, not even like a
- 57:18Speaker 2: T shirt with a mockneck. I'm not having it.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Not even a sweatshirt with a mockneck. No, it needs
- 57:25Speaker 1: to be a normal like crew neck. No, I'm into
- 57:27Speaker 1: all of that. Diana, we disagree. Uh.
- 57:32Speaker 2: The mentors say that they're sending five people home today.
- 57:35Speaker 2: There are five ring boxes out on the table. Harry
- 57:38Speaker 2: doesn't know who the mentors are sending home. Harry will
- 57:41Speaker 2: open the ring box and read the eliminated person's name.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I hate it.
- 57:45Speaker 2: And then Harry will get the chance to save one
- 57:47Speaker 2: woman he thinks he could have a future with. If
- 57:50Speaker 2: he uses the save, he has to send someone else home.
- 57:54Speaker 1: I hate it.
- 57:55Speaker 2: And so they eliminate Samantha, Lauren, Maya, A, Lindsey, and
- 58:01Speaker 2: Jade and the ladies are all coming up one at
- 58:05Speaker 2: a time to give back their rings, and Lauren says
- 58:09Speaker 2: she felt it coming.
- 58:10Speaker 1: Lauren, we watched this whole show because of you.
- 58:14Speaker 2: You felt it coming, and I just so tell us.
- 58:18Speaker 2: She goes, uh, she didn't think they were a match,
- 58:21Speaker 2: but she does think that her fit is fire that
- 58:23Speaker 2: she's exiting in for you.
- 58:27Speaker 1: I honestly was like, I wish every girl when they
- 58:29Speaker 1: get kicked off on the Bachelor on Night one, I
- 58:31Speaker 1: wish they could all do this instead of being so
- 58:33Speaker 1: sad intereio there was I think it was Samantha.
- 58:36Speaker 2: It was just full blown bawling during her exit interview
- 58:40Speaker 2: and even says, stop filming me right now. And the
- 58:45Speaker 2: thing is is that it's not about the strong connection
- 58:49Speaker 2: with Harry. It's about the embarrassment of being in the
- 58:51Speaker 2: first of the girls to go home. I could never
- 58:56Speaker 2: for many reasons were.
- 58:58Speaker 1: I swear to God, we were just easting it and
- 59:00Speaker 1: I were just having this conversation that there is almost
- 59:02Speaker 1: like this piece of you when you get onto the
- 59:04Speaker 1: show that turns into well, like I have to be
- 59:07Speaker 1: the last one there. I have to make it to
- 59:09Speaker 1: the end.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Yes, there is this piece that just happens a you
- 59:12Speaker 2: cannot go home night one, You cannot be a night
- 59:15Speaker 2: one girl?
- 59:16Speaker 1: What does that say about you? And then you just
- 59:19Speaker 1: turn into whether you like the guy or not, you
- 59:21Speaker 1: turn into I have to make it to the end.
- 59:24Speaker 1: I love him. I love him. I have to make
- 59:26Speaker 1: it to the end.
- 59:26Speaker 2: This is why they break up when cameras are done
- 59:29Speaker 2: filming for seasons, because the chase is.
- 59:31Speaker 1: Over and now reality.
- 59:34Speaker 2: Is set, and then you realize he's a cry baby.
- 59:47Speaker 2: Harry chooses to use his save on Jade and he
- 59:51Speaker 2: wants to get to know her better. She agrees to stay,
- 59:54Speaker 2: so then Harry has to immediately eliminate someone, and he
- 59:57Speaker 2: chooses to eliminate Faith. And I wrote the way I
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: gasped when he said this. They did this whole setup
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: setup of you know, talking smack about faith. But I
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: actually did not see this. I see this coming. I
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: am just as stunned as she is. She looks, hormoustated, horrified.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: She's just like gas like gape mouth gaped open cameras
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: on her. By the way, why does she look like
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: she just stepped out of Downton Abbey with the necklace.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: She's beautiful.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: I'm just just questioning the Victorian pearl necklace with the hair.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: It was a look. It was a choice faith. We
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: didn't see it coming, No, not coming. We did not think.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: After that hot makeout session where he said he wanted
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: to stick his face in your ass, that you were
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: going to be going home in the first round of eliminations.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: They have to bring her back. I'm convinced that they
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: will do at least me a solid and bring her back.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: I don't know the chemistry is there between the two
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: of them, if they could just give her another solid choice,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: their solid chance. They have to bring her back. We'll
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: have to see.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Later that night, Harry and Maya Bee talk and Harry
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: says he wished he told her how much funny he
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: had with her on the boat group date, and she
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: opens up about how it felt seeing him kiss on
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: the group date.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: She says it was shocking to her.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: She keeps going on and on, being like, I thought
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: you were going to do things differently, and then you
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: were like kissing on the first date and then they kiss.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Like you you what you're like?
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: I thought you were different. I thought you were like
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: gonna be different this time. I thought you were dropping
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: that boy thing. And then it's like can we kiss?
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: Then they kiss, and then they cut to her talking
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: about how it wasn't her best work.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Yes, okay, that was She leaves it all up to
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: this moment and then she's like, oh, I need a
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: second go at it. That is not my best My lips,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: my teeth, everything.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Was squatting why because she went in and he didn't
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: like move his body, so she had to shift her
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: body off of that lounge chair and she had to
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: hold a squat while she was kissing him. And I
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: would have been girl. First of all, the hottest thing
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: about Harry is how tall he is. Yeah, yeah, chef's kiss.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: He's at least six three sixty four. I think he's
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: six y five.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: The girls talk about it in the episode I craky
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: six fide yummy, yummy, yummy, great great great.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: So that is the best part about kissing a very
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: tall man is that you don't do it where you're
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: both awkwardly sitting face to face and your tippy toes.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: You raised him up and then you go in for
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: the kiss. But anyways, she said it wasn't her best work,
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: and I guess she was right. So the next day,
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: the mentors are putting the remaining fifteen women through a
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: compatibility test. They are testing their core values and if
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: they align with Harry's and the winners, they say the
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: winner will get a date with Harry, but it ends
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: up being another group day because more than one girl wins.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: So they ask a bunch questions, like their timeline on
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: having kids, what they find attractive, favorite sex position. Emily
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: does not give an answer because she's a virgin. And
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: this is where we all find out that my girl
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: is a virgin and she is waiting till marriage. She's
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: on the wrong reality show. That's where when I'm telling you.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: When I saw that she was announced for this, I
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: was like, girl, really, I knew that nothing had changed
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: in that department. So they talk about what the biggest
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: priority is sexual frequency and most important quality in marriage.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Four women end up going on this group date with Harry.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Well they will be in this next episode because we
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: don't see it. It's Sammy, Juliana, Jade, and Shane. And
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: then back at the house Harry and amberchat. Now this
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: is when Amber gets into the conversation. She points out
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: that they don't have may not a lot of answers
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: in common, and.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: She tells him that this whole experience is not really
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: who's she is.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Yep, Harry finds Amber intriguing because she's giving him the chase.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: This to me is not good. I'm just like, this.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Is gameplay and this to me is furry. And that's
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: why I don't like it. I don't like this whole like,
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: you don't have a lot in common. I actually would to.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Actually do that. Yes, hook line and hook line and sinker.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: He was like, oh man, like a bit like a
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: little puppy, and they like this I did.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: She treated him like a little puppy. He was all
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: over it. She's being bitch. She was slopping up from
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: her feet up.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: After that, it doesn't catch my vibe. I'm not this
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: kind of girl. But anyways, Amber, you do you. Emily
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: tells a few of the other girls that she's a virgin.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: They're all kind of shocked by this, and she's like,
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: I've waited this long. I'm gonna keep waiting. And then
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: we go back to Amber. We're still talking. He actually
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: picks her up and carries her outside for a one
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: on one chat in front of everybody, and she's like, yeah,
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: this is more like it. And he thinks she's mysterious.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Again. To me, this equals dismissive, avoidant. It's fine written
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: on it. I don't like it.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: But then she says that she was married ten years ago,
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: and I go, okay, I'm listening. She says she grew
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: up Mormon, and she married because it was like basically
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: ingrained in the culture, and her parents wanted her, you know,
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: to do this, and she wanted to have her parents
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: be proud of her, and so she does it. And
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: then she says that she doesn't connect with organized religion anymore.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: So again we're getting a little bit of a deep
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: conversation here, because then he's talking about his feelings on religion.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Then Harry and Danell. It's a weird name.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Sorry, Danelluh, it's her birthday. We're about to get into
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: something spicy, guys. So they bring her out a cake
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: and then they see nothing about her before this point.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Literally nothing. When this happens. As I'm watching the show,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: I have to go back and say, who is this person?
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: When did she get there? Exactly? So then they go
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: into the kitchen to cut the cake and they go.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: He goes, we don't have to keep cutting the cake
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: for those girls out there.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: We'll do whatever you want.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: And they kiss, but it felt like an awkward kiss,
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: like it felt like, oh, it's your birthday, so I'm
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: going to kiss.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: You it would you lie? It was giving a little.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Pick me energy, like pick me, give me a kiss,
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: it's my birthday.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: I wasn't into it.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: And then somebody suggests they go upstairs, so they just
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: literally leave all the girls in the living room as
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: the girls are munching on the birthday cake.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: They're all housing this.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Cake, and they go upstairs and they lay down on
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Harry's bed and he can't stop looking at her boobs.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: She calls him out for.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: Sarah, And I literally was writing that in the notes
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: like his eyes, you see it, you see it.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: He's not being quite a bit. She looks him dead
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: in the face and says, are you looking at my boobs?
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: He's like no, as he's looking at her boobs.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Then they kiss again, and then they go into the
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: closet and they like, it's right still. It wasn't the bathroom.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: It was the closet because they go there aren't any
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: cameras in here.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: This is what they say as they're walking in.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: There aren't any cameras in here, and then all we
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: hear is audio with a shot on the closet. I'm
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: not going to reenact the audio, but it was it
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: was raunchy, okay.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Because we're doing this together and we did the last
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: show together. It took me right back to that steamy
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: shower scene and love Overboard. Yes, it took me right
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: back to that.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Yes, And we ended on a perfect cliffhanger because then
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: we see two of the women go upstairs and they're going, Harry,
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: where are you, Harry, And it's like they're just about
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: to turn into the room and that's where the episode ends.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: So personally, I think, Danelle, your days are numbered.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: If our girl faith can even have a little makeout session.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: What makes you what makes you think you're gonna get
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: the full enchilada and you're gonna stick around.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: I think that the mentors are going to send you
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: home for that. I don't know. I feel like they
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: need to let him have a little fun. They're letting
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: him have fun. He's doing it. He's not like adjusting
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: his shirt. He's like, oh, girls, girls, girls.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: The problem is is my producer brain goes on and
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: it says that that's actually not what's happening in the room.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: But I don't want to reality TV. I thought the
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: same thing.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: The audio is such like a pickup from something else
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: we don't know where.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: But I'm hooked. I'm hooked. I'm hooked.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: So we're gonna keep watching the show. It's all out,
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: I think now, and then later on a finale episode
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: will air a couple of days after this first batch
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: that's been released, so we're gonna be following it. Obviously,
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: we're gonna try and get some of the girlies to
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: come on the show.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: God, I hope so got to talk to my girl Emily.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: What if they get married, What if they get married?
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: What if we get We're.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Gonna end on this. Who do you think is going
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: to be our winner? Let's place the bet now we're
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: only two episodes in and then we're going to go.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: As much as I love my girl, Emily, I don't
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: think it's you, bab.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: It's not going to be Emily. It's not going to
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: be Emily. I actually want you to answer because I
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: saw a spoiler. Unfortunately, no, I can't because I really
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: had all my cards on faith.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: I really did have some faith in faith. Maybe she'll
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: be back, I really hope.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: But from the second she got out, I was like,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: oh my god, she's She looks right up as Allie.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I also, I don't know why, but I think Debora
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Lee is going to be a high contender.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: I think so too. Yeah, Deborah, we're rooting for you,
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: all right. I've been Heather, I've been Gianna. We'll talk
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: to you soon.
