God judges Israel for her sins:

Hoshea, the last king of Israel, tries to partner with Egypt to defeat Assyria

Assyria besieges Samaria and wins

Assyria completely displaces everyone in Israel and takes complete control of the land

Is God mean for expecting people to worship Him?

Why did God judge His people?
