- 0:52Speaker 1: the healing, but it's also about maintaining the recovery. So
- 0:57Speaker 1: it's not just about healing and then going through the
- 0:59Speaker 1: same things over and over and over again. It's about

- 2:01Speaker 1: I A M. I'm sorry, y'all, m AI, I would say,
- 2:07Speaker 1: mmr IAmA zero one dot com.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Y'all have had a long day.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I didn't get very much sleep last night. But the
- 2:17Speaker 1: podcast has to go on now. Today's topic is going
- 2:21Speaker 1: to be a two for one today. This one is
- 2:25Speaker 1: all about the fact of the matter of why you
- 2:29Speaker 1: base yourself and why do you lower yourself for people
- 2:34Speaker 1: that will never do the same for you, For people
- 2:37Speaker 1: that actually are not any better than you are. The
- 2:41Speaker 1: crazy part is I don't really understand why we do it,
- 2:44Speaker 1: but I know why. But it's taught behavior more so
- 2:49Speaker 1: than anything. And the one thing the reason I created
- 2:53Speaker 1: you minding your own business is because it's too many
- 2:56Speaker 1: people minding everybody else's is that the one that feeds them.
- 3:00Speaker 1: When I stopped minding, when I started minding my own
- 3:04Speaker 1: business and not worrying about everybody else, I became a
- 3:07Speaker 1: whole happier person. Now that's one of the hardest things
- 3:11Speaker 1: to do in all honesty, because with minding your own
- 3:16Speaker 1: business and self esteem, self worth, self value, self respect,
- 3:21Speaker 1: self confidence, believing in yourself even when no one else does,
- 3:25Speaker 1: it's kind of hard because you have to maintain it.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And that's one of the hardest things to do, is
- 3:32Speaker 1: maintain your self esteem, especially when you got people attacking you,
- 3:37Speaker 1: bullying you, harassing you, doing all these negative things to you.
- 3:41Speaker 2: It's kind of hard to have a high.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Self esteem when you got people tryna lower it every
- 3:46Speaker 1: single day.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It is hard.
- 3:49Speaker 1: It's hard to mind the business that pay you when
- 3:53Speaker 1: it's always being thrown in your face on social media.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Cause today I.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Was you know, on my phone out strolling and I
- 4:02Speaker 1: was like, I'm putting my phone down today.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I got off work and I.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Strolled a little bit cause I try to keep up
- 4:09Speaker 1: with the country Wayne skits cause I've been doing them
- 4:12Speaker 1: on social media. But I'm about to bring that to
- 4:15Speaker 1: my podcast very very soon. But I'll be doing that
- 4:20Speaker 1: very soon, but I haven't decided when. But what I
- 4:23Speaker 1: will say is when it comes to you minding your
- 4:27Speaker 1: own business, I'll start. I'll start with that one because
- 4:30Speaker 1: that's the one I didn't do yesterday. When you mind
- 4:34Speaker 1: the business that pays you, that means you're not worried
- 4:38Speaker 1: about when nobody else is doing except you. And the
- 4:42Speaker 1: people that you are concerned about are the people that
- 4:45Speaker 1: add to what you're doing, or they add to your life,
- 4:49Speaker 1: or there's somebody that can impact and affect your life.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Those are people that you need to worry about. As
- 4:57Speaker 1: far as with self respect leads to self love, it
- 5:01Speaker 1: comes down to people lowering themselves in order to build
- 5:05Speaker 1: somebody else up because of their insecurity and their issues.
- 5:09Speaker 1: There are a lot of people that wanna be captain
- 5:11Speaker 1: saber holes, build a bears, build a dollar, seat fillers,
- 5:14Speaker 1: and people pleasers. And they're willing to do anything to
- 5:17Speaker 1: be loved, liked, to appreciate the value, to want it
- 5:19Speaker 1: needed to be a part of something, to be validated,
- 5:21Speaker 1: to be approved of, to be accepted, for somebody to
- 5:24Speaker 1: know your worth and proven some people. The fact of
- 5:30Speaker 1: what people are willing to do to make somebody like
- 5:37Speaker 1: you in some type of way is absolutely ridiculous. A
- 5:41Speaker 1: lot of people go with against everything that is right
- 5:43Speaker 1: to do something wrong, and that's where the issue is.
- 5:47Speaker 1: A lot of people know what they're doing is wrong,
- 5:50Speaker 1: but they do it because of a feeling that doesn't
- 5:54Speaker 1: even last long. So the fact that you're up here
- 5:58Speaker 1: giving up everything for some of it would never give
- 6:00Speaker 1: it up for you is a problem. And what I
- 6:04Speaker 1: tell people is the person that should be the person
- 6:08Speaker 1: that should have the high self esteem, should be the
- 6:12Speaker 1: person that is the godly person, regardless of what.
- 6:13Speaker 2: They look like.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I feel like, if you're a godly person, you shouldn't
- 6:17Speaker 1: have to lower yourself to anybody, cause.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Jesus never did. Jesus never lowered himself for anybody.
- 6:23Speaker 1: But yet you have all these people telling you you
- 6:26Speaker 1: have to lower yourself, you have to accept what somebody
- 6:29Speaker 1: does to you, and you have to just appreciate.
- 6:32Speaker 2: No, you don't. You ain't gotta sap nothing.
- 6:37Speaker 1: So at the end of the day, like I said,
- 6:38Speaker 1: the fact that you know, some people want to break people.
- 6:43Speaker 1: So let me give you an example. Cardi B is
- 6:45Speaker 1: a good example of this. Cardi B has come a
- 6:48Speaker 1: long way because at one time, Cardi B used to
- 6:51Speaker 1: get on these platforms ever time somebody says something bout
- 6:54Speaker 1: and she used to go off.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Now since she.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Had them kids, they done humble her. They done humbled
- 7:02Speaker 1: her tremendously. Now her album is coming out September nineteenth,
- 7:09Speaker 1: and we already got people already running off at the
- 7:12Speaker 1: mouth talking about how it's paola that she got one
- 7:16Speaker 1: point two million dollars off the album and it ain't
- 7:19Speaker 1: even out yet. And then you got Nicki Minaj who
- 7:23Speaker 1: is spiraling out of control about rot Nation.
- 7:28Speaker 2: At the end of the day, this is insane. It's insane.
- 7:33Speaker 1: But you have two women that could co that could coexist,
- 7:37Speaker 1: but yet you have one that cannot allow the other
- 7:41Speaker 1: one to coexist. But she's not focused on Cardi B.
- 7:45Speaker 1: She is focused on Rotten Nation. And my whole thing
- 7:49Speaker 1: is she is pissed.
- 7:51Speaker 2: It's beastly. The fact that she saw you know, Cardi
- 7:54Speaker 2: B with with Kelly.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Rowland and with Tina and they were up there having
- 7:59Speaker 1: a good time.
- 8:00Speaker 2: She is this NIGGI is absolutely upset.
- 8:04Speaker 1: NIGGI wanted them girls that you can't be friends with
- 8:07Speaker 1: somebody's that she don't like, and that's not fair. You
- 8:11Speaker 1: can't tell me I can't be friends with somebody because
- 8:14Speaker 1: you ain't friends with 'em. They ain't got nothing to
- 8:15Speaker 1: do with me. That person ain't done nothing to me.
- 8:17Speaker 1: But at the same time, I do understand it though,
- 8:20Speaker 1: if it's somebody that I don't like and I gotta
- 8:24Speaker 1: worry about you talking trash about them is different than
- 8:26Speaker 1: somebody who does. So as long as she doesn't bring
- 8:30Speaker 1: it bring it much b mm. Long as she don't
- 8:33Speaker 1: bring me up to somebody who I don't like, I
- 8:35Speaker 1: don't care. But at the end of the day, it's
- 8:37Speaker 1: Nikki is spiring. She is purity spiraling out of control.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Cause at first it was Cardi B, but now it's
- 8:46Speaker 1: Rock Nation. She is strictly going after jay Z and
- 8:50Speaker 1: this is insane. So again, when you mind the business
- 8:54Speaker 1: that pays you, I don't see the rents, but I
- 8:57Speaker 1: hear about it, because when when I'm on t TikTok,
- 9:01Speaker 1: that's when I see it. You know, everybody talking about
- 9:04Speaker 1: her aspiring. But if you take six months and don't
- 9:08Speaker 1: get on any social media platform except when you're doing
- 9:12Speaker 1: your actual business stuff, you will see how different and
- 9:16Speaker 1: more healthier you will be. When you mind the business
- 9:20Speaker 1: that pays you and you only focus on your health
- 9:24Speaker 1: and wellness internally and externally, you make really good decisions
- 9:28Speaker 1: and choices that that your action behavior can be proud of.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You're not being impacted and affected by other people but yourself.
- 9:39Speaker 2: You just mind the business that pays you and you
- 9:40Speaker 2: don't care.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Your self esteem, self worth, and self value is intact
- 9:46Speaker 1: your respect, it's something you demand. Your confidence is there
- 9:50Speaker 1: regardless of what you look like. And you'd rather be
- 9:53Speaker 1: alone than be unhappy.
- 9:56Speaker 2: That's what I mean.
- 9:58Speaker 1: At the end of the day, a lot of people
- 10:00Speaker 1: try to stop people shine their growth, their development, their maturity,
- 10:05Speaker 1: their evolution and them evolving, and yet still they can't.
- 10:11Speaker 1: You know, at the end of the day, people, whether
- 10:14Speaker 1: you want them to or not, if they're gonna thrive,
- 10:16Speaker 1: They're gonna thrive no matter what. But in the end,
- 10:21Speaker 1: like I said, I woke up today and what made
- 10:24Speaker 1: me talk about this was I woke up today my
- 10:27Speaker 1: eyes were pear to her cause I don't I don't
- 10:29Speaker 1: have my eye drop. So I gotta get them tomorrow
- 10:32Speaker 1: and have them delivered here. But I'm just sitting here
- 10:35Speaker 1: and I'm just like, is it even worth it? The
- 10:39Speaker 1: answer is no, So I said, you know what, this evening,
- 10:42Speaker 1: I'm putting my phone down. I'm actually gonna go to
- 10:45Speaker 1: sleep and get some rest early.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Come tired.
- 10:50Speaker 1: That's why I'm doing this podcast so early, because I
- 10:52Speaker 1: am tired. But in the end, you don't wanna be
- 10:56Speaker 1: sick because I remember back in the day, we used
- 10:59Speaker 1: to you know, kids used to be outside all day,
- 11:01Speaker 1: every day, outside having a good time. If a little
- 11:05Speaker 1: boy liked you, he used to beat up. Yeah, they
- 11:09Speaker 1: used to hit you just to show that they liked you.
- 11:12Speaker 1: But you know, back then, kids could be kids. Now
- 11:16Speaker 1: kids are more so adults. Kids can't even be kids
- 11:20Speaker 1: no more. Kids can't even go outside to the playground
- 11:22Speaker 1: no more. Kids can't even ride they bikes no more,
- 11:25Speaker 1: because they gotta worry about somebody kidnapping somebody's kids. You
- 11:28Speaker 1: can't even move a man into your house because you
- 11:30Speaker 1: gotta worry about them doing some of your kids. That's
- 11:32Speaker 1: how bad things are right now, and the reality of
- 11:35Speaker 1: it is we don't even realize how bad things are.
- 11:39Speaker 1: What's even more crazier is the HIV and the STD
- 11:43Speaker 1: epidemic as well as the full blown AIDS has pretty
- 11:47Speaker 1: much back. So between all of these things that could
- 11:54Speaker 1: be prevented if people made better choices, you just doing
- 11:58Speaker 1: what feels right to you, not understanding there are consequences
- 12:02Speaker 1: and repercussions for the things you do, and for every
- 12:06Speaker 1: action there is a reaction. There certainly is. But what
- 12:10Speaker 1: I will say is, when it comes to these situations,
- 12:15Speaker 1: your self esteem, self work, and self values determines not
- 12:19Speaker 1: only how you feel about yourself, but how some people
- 12:25Speaker 1: will see you.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Cause here's my thing.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Some people don't have to get on social media and
- 12:30Speaker 1: show off everything and get attention. And I don't understand
- 12:33Speaker 1: why a lot of pretty girls for they have to
- 12:34Speaker 1: do that and they don't have to, but they do
- 12:37Speaker 1: it anyway. That's because that's what society has told them,
- 12:39Speaker 1: but doesn't mean it's right. But me personally, if I
- 12:42Speaker 1: was dropped dead gorgeous woman, I certainly wouldn't be out
- 12:44Speaker 1: there like that.
- 12:46Speaker 2: I wouldn't.
- 12:50Speaker 1: So at the end of the day, So I don't know.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Like I said, a lot of people don't.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Understand that being vulnerable can be a good and bathom now,
- 13:06Speaker 1: being vulnerable can be you being honest. And one thing
- 13:12Speaker 1: about vulnerability is it's really hard to do because you
- 13:15Speaker 1: don't want nobody taking it and turning your something that
- 13:19Speaker 1: is your weakness and using against you to destroy you
- 13:21Speaker 1: with it. A lot of people use your weaknesses to
- 13:24Speaker 1: destroy you. They use your feelings to take advantage of you,
- 13:28Speaker 1: to manipulate, bamboozo, scam con lie, do all of these
- 13:32Speaker 1: things on you. A lot of y'all are lowering yourselves
- 13:35Speaker 1: for people that will never do it for you. It's
- 13:38Speaker 1: never gonna be reciprocated. It's always gonna be one sided,
- 13:42Speaker 1: and when you finally say something about it, they make
- 13:45Speaker 1: excuses for it.
- 13:46Speaker 2: So let me give you a good example of this.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Let's say, for example, a girl is dating a guy.
- 13:53Speaker 1: She does not want to have sex, but she's being
- 13:56Speaker 1: pure pressured into it, and she's standing her ground and
- 14:00Speaker 1: she's like, no, I don't want to have sex. I
- 14:03Speaker 1: don't wanna get pregnant, and I and I'm not trying
- 14:05Speaker 1: to do the man In case of condoms, the guy says, oh,
- 14:09Speaker 1: but I'm but I wear a condom. And so after
- 14:12Speaker 1: a bunch of peer pressure, she gives in. She gives in,
- 14:15Speaker 1: but in all actuality, he didn't use that condom. Now
- 14:18Speaker 1: she's pregnant.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Now she might have.
- 14:20Speaker 1: HIV, full blown AIDS or that STD. Now this boy
- 14:24Speaker 1: goes and tells the whole entire school that she's a hope,
- 14:27Speaker 1: all because she slept with him one time. Sometimes you
- 14:30Speaker 1: gotta stick to the word no, no matter what. I
- 14:32Speaker 1: don't care what somebody says, it does. The answer is no,
- 14:37Speaker 1: because it ain't worth it. A lot of us look
- 14:40Speaker 1: back in our forties and fifties and we look at
- 14:43Speaker 1: all the men and women we slept, but women in particular,
- 14:46Speaker 1: we look at all the men we slept with, and
- 14:48Speaker 1: we like, why why do we do this to ourselves?
- 14:52Speaker 1: You're sleeping with men that are not even giving you
- 14:55Speaker 1: their last name. So I want people to understand that
- 14:59Speaker 1: if that man's not geting his last name, he doesn't.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Deserve much between your legs. So it's just some things.
- 15:05Speaker 1: When I say, mind the business that pays you that
- 15:08Speaker 1: means that if you stand on business, stand on business,
- 15:12Speaker 1: and I don't care what somebody does, the answer is no.
- 15:15Speaker 1: If I said no, I stand on it. I'm not
- 15:18Speaker 1: changing my mind. I'm not going to all to what
- 15:21Speaker 1: I said. I said no, and it on it. My
- 15:24Speaker 1: whole thing now is I've learned that certain things are
- 15:27Speaker 1: just one sided and they just are. And no matter what,
- 15:32Speaker 1: when it comes to healing, you gotta realize that other
- 15:34Speaker 1: person ain't you. It ain't your job to try to personally,
- 15:40Speaker 1: not professionally, personally, try to be a builder, bear to
- 15:44Speaker 1: somebody that's not trying to build themselves.
- 15:47Speaker 2: And when they met you, they weren't trying to build themselves.
- 15:50Speaker 1: But all it is is they love a person that
- 15:53Speaker 1: can build them. And that's the one thing about sloth
- 15:56Speaker 1: is it's a lot of lazy people that people try
- 15:58Speaker 1: to make respec ain't never gonna be responsible, and they
- 16:03Speaker 1: gonna keep living off somebody else and keep having somebody
- 16:06Speaker 1: else take care of them. It's just like when you
- 16:09Speaker 1: go back and you look at all your exes and
- 16:12Speaker 1: you look at the women they're married to. Now, some
- 16:14Speaker 1: of these women are not even nowhere near the woman
- 16:17Speaker 1: that you are, or the man that you are. When
- 16:19Speaker 1: it comes to a female, some of them may not
- 16:22Speaker 1: even be attractive at all.
- 16:23Speaker 2: And you were, like, you mean to say me, he.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Shows huh mm, because those are the only women that's
- 16:29Speaker 1: gonna do what he wants them to do.
- 16:31Speaker 2: So at the end of the.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Day, like I said, you know, when I found out
- 16:34Speaker 1: my ex got married, I didn't even care.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I didn't care.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Now I kind of thought about it for a second,
- 16:42Speaker 1: and I realized I wasted seven years. That's the only
- 16:45Speaker 1: thing I thought. I wasted seven years. This girl wasn't
- 16:50Speaker 1: even with him that long, and yet he married her.
- 16:52Speaker 1: So that's what I mean. Sometimes you gotta realize how
- 16:56Speaker 1: value valuable your time is and how much you value it.
- 17:01Speaker 1: So if your time is that important, then you better
- 17:04Speaker 1: use it wisely, meaning that you better not be lowing
- 17:08Speaker 1: yourself and giving up your apartments and giving up your
- 17:11Speaker 1: houses for people that when you move in they gonna
- 17:13Speaker 1: be wanting you to.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Cook and clean.
- 17:15Speaker 1: And you're like, dude, why don't you do this? Because again,
- 17:19Speaker 1: these men have met women, their mothers were the ones
- 17:22Speaker 1: that did it all, and because their mothers did it all,
- 17:24Speaker 1: now they want you to do it all. So yeah,
- 17:28Speaker 1: that's how that go. Does it make it right? No,
- 17:32Speaker 1: it don't. So all I'm saying, all I'm saying to
- 17:36Speaker 1: you is when it comes down to these situations, don't
- 17:40Speaker 1: nothing shocked. Don't nothing shock me when it comes to
- 17:43Speaker 1: stuff like this, because it don't. In the end, you
- 17:46Speaker 1: gonna always have people that's going to try to test
- 17:49Speaker 1: your patience. You always gonna have people that want somebody
- 17:54Speaker 1: to bow down to them, but you ain't somebody I
- 17:58Speaker 1: need to bow down too. There's always somebody that's gonna
- 18:01Speaker 1: want you to do something that goes against everything that's right,
- 18:04Speaker 1: to do something wrong.
- 18:05Speaker 2: They always people always go on somebody to commit.
- 18:07Speaker 1: A crime with them, so they don't go down by
- 18:09Speaker 1: themselves and they have somebody else to blame.
- 18:12Speaker 2: And that's how recovery works.
- 18:14Speaker 1: When you look back at your situation, nine to nine
- 18:17Speaker 1: point nine nine percent of the things you did, you
- 18:19Speaker 1: didn't do because you wanted to. You did it because
- 18:21Speaker 1: you were obligated to during the time that you start
- 18:25Speaker 1: doing things on your own, when you start traveling, meeting
- 18:28Speaker 1: new people, so on and so forth. So you just
- 18:31Speaker 1: gotta be mindful of that. So it is what it is.
- 18:39Speaker 1: So a lot of people give up their dreams because
- 18:42Speaker 1: of their insecurities and their fears and of rejection and
- 18:46Speaker 1: their fears that it may or may not work out,
- 18:48Speaker 1: and they psyche themselves out.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Cause I'm the one that has done that.
- 18:52Speaker 1: So I learned now that you know, I gotta put
- 18:55Speaker 1: my phone down for a little while. I gotta get
- 18:57Speaker 1: down to business. I got to get out hand. I
- 19:00Speaker 1: had to get out here and get myself back to
- 19:03Speaker 1: where I need to be because as long as I'm
- 19:04Speaker 1: on social media, I ain't never gonna do nothing. I'll
- 19:08Speaker 1: be on social media strolling and then the next thing
- 19:10Speaker 1: I know is it's eleven or twelve o'clock at night.
- 19:13Speaker 1: We're on our phones all the time.
- 19:15Speaker 2: We don't never put them down. See, they never put
- 19:18Speaker 2: social media on phones.
- 19:20Speaker 1: We wouldn't even we would not be actually on our
- 19:23Speaker 1: phones like that, to be honest, but they did. So
- 19:27Speaker 1: now people can't even put their phones down when they're
- 19:29Speaker 1: in the car. They can't even put their phone down
- 19:31Speaker 1: when they driving. Now.
- 19:32Speaker 2: I understand having.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Google, cause Google is actually something that works, but to
- 19:37Speaker 1: have these other apps, I don't think they should be
- 19:38Speaker 1: on these phones because it's just too much. And the
- 19:41Speaker 1: fact that you can't even put your phone down enough
- 19:44Speaker 1: to work. But yet you can't even read a whole
- 19:46Speaker 1: entire book, But yet you can watch a video that
- 19:50Speaker 1: right there tells me something. They right, So, like I said,
- 19:53Speaker 1: if you're if you're in a relationship, and you're doing
- 19:57Speaker 1: it by yourself, then you might as well leave that
- 19:59Speaker 1: person where they're at. There's no point of being somebody
- 20:02Speaker 1: that's not helping you, that's not making your life better
- 20:05Speaker 1: in any way shape from a fashion. So no, but
- 20:13Speaker 1: like I said, it's always some always, but it's not
- 20:18Speaker 1: a question of how you fall, is a question of
- 20:20Speaker 1: how you rise.
- 20:22Speaker 2: So I won't people to understand. I get it.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Minding your own business and your self esteem is the
- 20:28Speaker 1: hardest thing to do, just like it's hard to.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Maintain being healthy. So let's use that for example. Health
- 20:35Speaker 2: and wellness.
- 20:36Speaker 1: For example, you have a lot of people that may
- 20:39Speaker 1: not look like they are not unhealthy, but they are
- 20:43Speaker 1: in other aspects.
- 20:45Speaker 2: So yeah, they may have muscles.
- 20:47Speaker 1: And they may look good, but that don't mean they
- 20:50Speaker 1: have you know, mental health issues, or they don't mean
- 20:53Speaker 1: they don't have, you know, issues as far as insecurities
- 20:56Speaker 1: as far as their looks. So, like I said, you
- 20:59Speaker 1: be a maze is how many people have addictions that
- 21:02Speaker 1: you know nothing about. Gambling, sex, addiction, They have addictions
- 21:08Speaker 1: to what other people think. There's a lot of different,
- 21:12Speaker 1: you know, addictions a lot of people don't even know
- 21:15Speaker 1: are addictions. People pleasing seat fillers, captain saber hos, that
- 21:21Speaker 1: type of thing.
- 21:22Speaker 2: So there are things out here that you will not.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Think are addictions, but they are. You have a lot
- 21:29Speaker 1: of people that have self esteem issues even though they
- 21:33Speaker 1: dropped dead gorgeous. You have people that went and got
- 21:35Speaker 1: plastic surgery. So the fact that you're sitting up here
- 21:39Speaker 1: thinking something's wrong with you because you are what you
- 21:43Speaker 1: are and you accept it, it doesn't mean the world
- 21:46Speaker 1: going to accept it just because you do. But the
- 21:49Speaker 1: whole world ain't supposed to Your people are your people,
- 21:54Speaker 1: and those are the people that God will bring to you,
- 21:57Speaker 1: and you ain't gotta go look it for them. They'll
- 21:59Speaker 1: they'll come to you or y'all will meet each other.
- 22:03Speaker 1: But in the end, the people that's meant to support you,
- 22:06Speaker 1: it's not when you get on social media and you
- 22:08Speaker 1: just yep yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep,
- 22:11Speaker 1: yep yep, yep, yep, yet yet yep. And you're like
- 22:13Speaker 1: meyami yamy'm y'm yammy, I'm y'm meyammy, i'm me, i'm
- 22:16Speaker 1: me a mayammy.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Now may i'my a maya, i'm ilm me. You know
- 22:18Speaker 2: what I'm saying. It's just like that. So, yeah, people coming.
- 22:23Speaker 1: To your channel and yeah they're there, and yeah they
- 22:27Speaker 1: support you, but when they come to buy something, they
- 22:31Speaker 1: ain't trying to support you. When it meta most a
- 22:34Speaker 1: lot of people, yeah they'll go on there and listen
- 22:36Speaker 1: to you talk as long as it's free. They'll sit
- 22:37Speaker 1: there and listen to you all their own, But when
- 22:40Speaker 1: they come to money be involved. It ain't happening. Seriously,
- 22:44Speaker 1: it ain't happening. So I'm not saying any of this
- 22:47Speaker 1: to be mean, but I am saying this because there's
- 22:50Speaker 1: times where we have to cut off and say, you
- 22:53Speaker 1: know what, let me cut off of the world for
- 22:54Speaker 1: a little while, let me read the Bible for a
- 22:57Speaker 1: little bit, let me go write a book, let me
- 22:59Speaker 1: focus on because that's what I'm getting ready to do
- 23:02Speaker 1: because I said to myself, you know what, don't get
- 23:05Speaker 1: me wrong, I love country Wayne.
- 23:07Speaker 2: I love doing the country Wayne Skits. But I got
- 23:10Speaker 2: a two books that I gotta write.
- 23:11Speaker 1: I got courses I gotta do, so I don't really
- 23:14Speaker 1: have time to sit up here, and beyond social media strolling,
- 23:19Speaker 1: it's too many other things I gotta do. I can
- 23:21Speaker 1: go downstairs and ride the bike my mama got downstairs,
- 23:24Speaker 1: but that thing makes my m I she I gottaet
- 23:26Speaker 1: a cover on it. But at the end of the day,
- 23:28Speaker 1: there's so many things that I can do. But what
- 23:33Speaker 1: matters is that I'm not just wasting my time.
- 23:36Speaker 2: And that's the thing. So in regardless of who it
- 23:39Speaker 2: is or what relationship it is, the last thing you need.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Is that.
- 23:49Speaker 2: So that's the old wonder of those So, like I said,
- 23:56Speaker 2: just like Beyonce, Beyonce made it know.
- 23:59Speaker 1: She said I used to be people please boy. When
- 24:01Speaker 1: she said that, they hit home from me, and I
- 24:03Speaker 1: believe it. I believe Beyonce used to be a people
- 24:06Speaker 1: pleaser because she was in the industry since she was fifteen.
- 24:11Speaker 1: So the fact that she had to do what everybody
- 24:14Speaker 1: told her to do. It's just like when she talked
- 24:16Speaker 1: about LaTavia and LaToya, she never wanted them to read
- 24:21Speaker 1: to leave the group.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Matthew made that decision. I'm glad they made up.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I'm glad that they were all together. But you know what,
- 24:28Speaker 1: everybody pissed off because beyoncey brought Molly Cyrus and jay
- 24:32Speaker 1: Z performed in Paris. My whole thing is that girl
- 24:36Speaker 1: can do what she wanted. She got the right and
- 24:40Speaker 1: the reason why because over in Paris they're buying Sacred,
- 24:43Speaker 1: they're buying her house and Derrion, they're buying her her
- 24:46Speaker 1: Blue Ivy, so they're buying her Dida stuff.
- 24:50Speaker 2: So that's what I'm saying. She only going where people.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Actually buy her stuff because eventually Beyonce is retiring and
- 24:57Speaker 1: a lot of people don't notice retirement. After this last hour,
- 25:00Speaker 1: she's retiring and when she do, she is stepping down.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Now every once in a while she might tour, but
- 25:07Speaker 1: she gonna tour up into them kids, you know, go
- 25:11Speaker 1: back to school and then she takes her time off.
- 25:15Speaker 1: So that's why she trying to get through all of
- 25:17Speaker 1: these all of the United States dates before they go
- 25:21Speaker 1: back to school. And I don't blame 'em, And that's
- 25:24Speaker 1: why she's switching to Sacred and stuff like that.
- 25:26Speaker 2: But the problem is Beyonce waited too late.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Beyond say she would have did it when she was
- 25:30Speaker 1: twenty one with her career, when she became a solo artist,
- 25:34Speaker 1: that's when she should have done it. When she should
- 25:37Speaker 1: have done Sacred and she should have done House of Derryon.
- 25:39Speaker 1: When she did House derry On, it still would have
- 25:42Speaker 1: did it well. If she would have had a designer
- 25:44Speaker 1: to design. Beyonce could have a found a fashion house
- 25:47Speaker 1: if she wanted to. She just didn't do it, and
- 25:50Speaker 1: now that she sees Rihanna doing it now she wants
- 25:53Speaker 1: to do it. The problem is she waited too late.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Rihanna took that time, and I don't blame her. Say,
- 26:00Speaker 1: you know what, I'm taking a break from the music industry.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I'm stressed out, I'm tired. Everybody keep throwing it on
- 26:06Speaker 1: Facebook with Chris Brown and what happened with us.
- 26:08Speaker 2: I can't do it.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I don't blame at all. So again, when you mind
- 26:13Speaker 1: the business that pays you, that's exactly what you do.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Mind the business that pays you. When you get away
- 26:21Speaker 1: from the world and go into silence and nobody knows
- 26:25Speaker 1: where you are and what you're doing, but you let
- 26:27Speaker 1: you know.
- 26:28Speaker 2: I'm still breathing.
- 26:30Speaker 1: But imagine how much stuff you can get accomplished if
- 26:33Speaker 1: you just put your phone now, Imagine how much stuff
- 26:36Speaker 1: you can actually do if you just say, you know what,
- 26:38Speaker 1: I'm taking a break from all this nonsense, cause that's
- 26:42Speaker 1: exactly what I'm doing right now, taking a break.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Because don't hit me wrong.
- 26:47Speaker 1: We're oversaturating our brains with too much information, way way
- 26:53Speaker 1: too much information, and.
- 26:55Speaker 2: A lot of people can't handle it.
- 26:57Speaker 1: And then when your eyes start hurting because you went
- 27:00Speaker 1: from being on a computer for eight hours to now
- 27:04Speaker 1: being on your phone, to now being on your television
- 27:08Speaker 1: or your laptop, that's a lot. Give yourself time to break.
- 27:15Speaker 1: And for those of y'all who.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Don't, I want you to look.
- 27:24Speaker 1: So all I'm saying that y'all is it's okay to
- 27:28Speaker 1: be pulled from the world. It's okay to turn off
- 27:31Speaker 1: your phone. It's okay to be by yourself for a while.
- 27:34Speaker 1: It's okay not to be chosen, because, like I said,
- 27:38Speaker 1: just because you're chosen does not mean things are gonna
- 27:41Speaker 1: be better for you. There are a lot of people
- 27:43Speaker 1: that are chosen and they still don't want you there.
- 27:46Speaker 1: And that's the part we don't talk about. To be
- 27:49Speaker 1: chosen and they still don't want you there. So even
- 27:54Speaker 1: though you're allowed, and even though you're chosen, it doesn't
- 27:58Speaker 1: mean these people are persons really want you there, or
- 28:02Speaker 1: if they do, it comes with an agenda. So, like
- 28:05Speaker 1: I said, you know, I get it, I completely and
- 28:10Speaker 1: utterly understand, but you have to understand rejection can also
- 28:16Speaker 1: be a good thing. Rejection means you ain't meant to
- 28:20Speaker 1: be there, and it's okay that you're not. But what
- 28:22Speaker 1: you're told is even if somebody tells you no, to
- 28:25Speaker 1: keep going and keep doing it, no, it just means
- 28:28Speaker 1: you're not meant to do it there. Sometimes it might
- 28:31Speaker 1: be meant for you to create something that is of
- 28:33Speaker 1: your own. Sometimes you may have to go and do
- 28:36Speaker 1: something where you may have to make less money, but
- 28:39Speaker 1: guess what you're achieves on. So at the end of
- 28:43Speaker 1: the day, it's not always good to be with the
- 28:45Speaker 1: best of the best because people gonna overlook you, cause
- 28:48Speaker 1: everybody's the best of the best. But if you're somebody
- 28:51Speaker 1: that can build a bunch of people and make something
- 28:53Speaker 1: of your own, and also build a bunch of people
- 28:56Speaker 1: and help them to be the best vision themselves, that's there.
- 29:00Speaker 2: It's accomplishment. And that shows leadership.
- 29:03Speaker 1: So I get it, and I even understand the fact
- 29:05Speaker 1: that for some of y'all you may think that it's
- 29:09Speaker 1: good to be in other people's business.
- 29:11Speaker 2: No, you need to mind the business that pays you.
- 29:14Speaker 1: As far as your self esteem, self worth, self respect,
- 29:17Speaker 1: stop worrying about what other people think. If you love
- 29:20Speaker 1: yourself and you value yourself, and you have confidence and
- 29:22Speaker 1: you believe in yourself even when nobody else does, it
- 29:25Speaker 1: don't matter what nobody else says. Even if the world
- 29:28Speaker 1: don't like you, you don't care because at the end
- 29:30Speaker 1: of the day, you ain't trying to please the world.
- 29:32Speaker 1: You're trying to please the few, and that is what
- 29:36Speaker 1: matters more than anything in the world. So I just
- 29:38Speaker 1: wanted to come on here and just do a short
- 29:40Speaker 1: podcast today and just tell you it's okay to mind
- 29:45Speaker 1: your business and demand respect because instead of wanting to
- 29:51Speaker 1: be loved, you wanna be respect because when you get respect,
- 29:54Speaker 1: you get all of that anyway. So with that being said,
- 29:56Speaker 1: thank Gods for joining me for this episode. I'm your host,
- 29:59Speaker 1: Guy is Asha Maria. I appreciate y'all, I love y'all,
- 30:03Speaker 1: and I'll see y'all later. By y'all
