- 0:49Speaker 2: Craig, if you don't mind, I might take about thirty
- 0:52Speaker 2: seconds here to ask this question because I want to
- 0:53Speaker 2: lay it out to you because I just want to
- 0:55Speaker 2: get your opinion on everything here, and it's gonna be
- 0:57Speaker 2: about the offense first and foremost. I think the Eagles
- 1:01Speaker 2: offensive scheme is completely broken again. I know Adam alludes
- 1:05Speaker 2: to it all the time, and I think he's absolutely
- 1:06Speaker 2: right that the wide receivers are running just comeback routes
- 1:09Speaker 2: and go routes. There really seems to be nothing across
- 1:11Speaker 2: the middle of the field, and I know that could
- 1:13Speaker 2: be a Jalen Hurts preference or whatnot. But like the
- 1:16Speaker 2: Detroit touchdown with Jamison Williams, I can't recall the last
- 1:19Speaker 2: time the Eagles had a play like that that resulted
- 1:21Speaker 2: in any yardage with a wide receiver running and getting
- 1:23Speaker 2: yards after the catch. That hasn't been an over the
- 1:25Speaker 2: top throw. But what I will say to this is,
- 1:28Speaker 2: and that could be diagnosed whichever you way you want.
- 1:31Speaker 2: But what tells me that they're fundamentally not thinking clearly
- 1:35Speaker 2: on offense is any time I see Grant Palcaterra and
- 1:39Speaker 2: Kylon grantson on the field and the run game and
- 1:42Speaker 2: their idea that if we put these two tight ends
- 1:44Speaker 2: on the field who have no earthly idea how to
- 1:47Speaker 2: block and think that that's going to help solve the
- 1:50Speaker 2: run game. And I know Al alluded to this last
- 1:52Speaker 2: week about or two weeks ago about running out of
- 1:54Speaker 2: eleven personnel. What pissed me off the most is we
- 1:58Speaker 2: also have another guy on the roster's name Cameron Latsu,
- 2:00Speaker 2: and then the one snap that he had in that game,
- 2:03Speaker 2: he blew up Aiden Hutchinson. And I just can't find,
- 2:06Speaker 2: like rationalize where they believe that, hey, if we if
- 2:09Speaker 2: we go big. We go with these two tight ends
- 2:11Speaker 2: who just clearly they can't do it. They cannot perform
- 2:14Speaker 2: the task that's being asked of them, and we have
- 2:16Speaker 2: a guy who has and they're not doing it. I
- 2:18Speaker 2: just look at the whole scheme in general, and I
- 2:20Speaker 2: think it's just broken. So my question to you would be,
- 2:22Speaker 2: if they called you tomorrow and said, Greg, we're stuck.
- 2:26Speaker 2: We don't know the answers to the test here, what
- 2:28Speaker 2: would be your suggestion the first thing you would tell them, Hey,
- 2:31Speaker 2: if you want to get out of this rut, what
- 2:33Speaker 2: would you suggest that they start doing first to make
- 2:36Speaker 2: the offense at least look functionable again.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Well, there's all that there, Frank.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I apologize. I apologize.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Look when I talked to Jeff last night and we
- 2:49Speaker 3: broke down the tape and we had a longer discussion
- 2:52Speaker 3: before we broke down some plays. The question I keep
- 2:55Speaker 3: coming up with with this offense because look, Nick Sirianni's
- 2:58Speaker 3: been in the league for a while, he's been with
- 3:00Speaker 3: Philip Rivers, he's been with really good players. It's it
- 3:04Speaker 3: can't be that he doesn't know things. Same with Kevin Petulo.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I know for fans it's easy to say, these guys,
- 3:10Speaker 3: you know, oh it's a coaching they're terrible. It really
- 3:14Speaker 3: can't be that, okay, which, by the way, I'm not
- 3:16Speaker 3: knocking your point. I'm just saying it's you know, it
- 3:19Speaker 3: can't be that these guys have no idea what they're doing.
- 3:21Speaker 3: It can't be that. You know, I've been around coaches
- 3:23Speaker 3: for many, many years. I've been fortunate enough in my
- 3:26Speaker 3: career to sit in meetings and they all these coaches
- 3:29Speaker 3: can know, you know, they know what they know obviously,
- 3:32Speaker 3: but what they know they can do a lot with.
- 3:36Speaker 3: So the question I kept saying to Jeff and didn't
- 3:38Speaker 3: I don't We didn't have an answer. I don't have
- 3:40Speaker 3: an answer, but I'll attempt to try to give you
- 3:43Speaker 3: what I think should happen. The question I kept saying
- 3:47Speaker 3: was why why does their pass game Let's start with
- 3:49Speaker 3: their pass game. Why why does their past game look
- 3:53Speaker 3: like a ninth grade pass game?
- 3:55Speaker 4: It's a why.
- 3:56Speaker 3: I don't know the answer. I'm being honest, I don't know.
- 3:59Speaker 5: Hey, it's Jeff Mosher. And if you have a family
- 4:01Speaker 5: and kids at home, like me, you always want them
- 4:03Speaker 5: to be fully protected. That's why I'm thrilled to be
- 4:06Speaker 5: a simply Safe customer, and our house is equipped with
- 4:09Speaker 5: the most technologically advanced alarm system you can get. If
- 4:13Speaker 5: you could actually stop someone from breaking into your home
- 4:15Speaker 5: before they got inside, why wouldn't you. Traditional security systems
- 4:19Speaker 5: only react after a break in, but simply Safe is
- 4:22Speaker 5: different because it stops crimes before they happen. With active
- 4:27Speaker 5: guard outdoor protection. They're AI powered cameras detect threats while
- 4:31Speaker 5: they're still outside your home, and they alert real security agents.
- 4:35Speaker 5: These agents take action while the intruder is still outside
- 4:38Speaker 5: and confront the intruder to let them know they're being
- 4:41Speaker 5: watched on camera and police is on the way. And
- 4:44Speaker 5: that's how you stop a crime before it's committed. There's

- 4:52Speaker 5: back guarantee. Try it and see the difference for yourself.
- 4:55Speaker 5: Do not miss out on simply Safe's biggest sale of
- 4:58Speaker 5: the year, sixty eight percent off. Our listeners get sixty
- 5:03Speaker 5: percent off of simply Safe home security system at simplysafe
- 5:07Speaker 5: dot com slash bird. That's simply safe dot com slash bird.
- 5:11Speaker 4: How you doing, Yeah, what's up?
- 5:13Speaker 3: All right.
- 5:14Speaker 4: So two quickies. One, I haven't I asked you a
- 5:17Speaker 4: couple of times over the season about mccooper's play, but
- 5:22Speaker 4: I haven't asked you in probably about five weeks, so
- 5:25Speaker 4: I've seen improved myself. What have you seen from him?
- 5:28Speaker 4: And then two on one of the drives, I can't
- 5:32Speaker 4: remember what quarter it was, I think his second half.
- 5:36Speaker 4: The Lions drove down and it was a fourth down
- 5:40Speaker 4: and golf through the past in the back of the
- 5:44Speaker 4: end zone and at somebody's feet. But it was a
- 5:47Speaker 4: crosser coming across that was wide open. Did you see
- 5:51Speaker 4: that play? And was was somebody picked because he was
- 5:56Speaker 4: wide opening? Yeah, And it seemed like Coop was the
- 5:59Speaker 4: one that was behind them.
- 6:01Speaker 3: We broke down that play actually, because I know exactly
- 6:05Speaker 3: the player talking about. That was the play in which
- 6:08Speaker 3: Phillips just beat Penny Sewell right off the edge and
- 6:12Speaker 3: forced Goff to have to move to his left and
- 6:14Speaker 3: throw the ball way before he wanted to. But the
- 6:17Speaker 3: Eagles were in man coverage. It was Brock right was
- 6:21Speaker 3: the tight end to the left of the formational and
- 6:23Speaker 3: he ran a shallow crosser and Mitchell was on him
- 6:26Speaker 3: and it was man coverage and he got caught in
- 6:28Speaker 3: the traffic, and if Goff had had time in the pocket,
- 6:32Speaker 3: it would have been a walking touchdown. But this was
- 6:36Speaker 3: the Jaylen Phillips factor. Jalen Phillips beat Penny Sewell right off.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Jeff knows exactly what I'm talking about. We broke it down.
- 6:42Speaker 2: You know.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Phillips beat Penny Sewell off the edge, so I don't
- 6:46Speaker 3: even think got a hand on him. It was such
- 6:47Speaker 3: a good pass rush and he forced GoF to move
- 6:50Speaker 3: and and Goff didn't have time. But you're right, it
- 6:53Speaker 3: would have been a walking touchdown.
- 6:56Speaker 4: And then then what have you're saying from mccouvera and
- 7:00Speaker 4: last couple of weeks.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Much better, eyes, much better. You know, you can see
- 7:07Speaker 3: that he's learning how to play within the context of
- 7:09Speaker 3: the vic fango defense. Definite improvement. And by the way,
- 7:12Speaker 3: when I say that, that doesn't mean he's never gonna
- 7:14Speaker 3: make a bad play. You know, people always take this
- 7:16Speaker 3: stuff to be one hundred percent. You know, you either
- 7:18Speaker 3: love something, you hate something, or if you say a
- 7:21Speaker 3: guy's good and then he makes a bad play, well
- 7:23Speaker 3: see I told you made a bad play. You know,
- 7:25Speaker 3: you know this is the NFL. You know, I mean,
- 7:28Speaker 3: you know, but he's much much better out. You can
- 7:30Speaker 3: clearly see it. He's much more comfortable, and you know
- 7:33Speaker 3: that's that's who we You know, he's a really good
- 7:36Speaker 3: football player.
- 7:38Speaker 5: Hey, Philly fans, game day is stressful enough. Parking, traffic,
- 7:42Speaker 5: long lines, We've all been there, But when it comes

- 8:33Speaker 5: great prices, and an experience made for Philly fans. Twenty
- 8:36Speaker 5: one and up. All right, el thank you. We are
- 8:42Speaker 5: going next to somebody asked not to have a quite
- 8:46Speaker 5: a leek I think was the one, but go ahead.
- 8:48Speaker 5: I'm sorry your name is escaping me. It's and it
- 8:51Speaker 5: doesn't say it in the corner.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Marky Mark, thank you, that's right, Sorry about that.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Mark?
- 8:55Speaker 6: Yeah, Hey, you up to apologize. I got I got
- 8:57Speaker 6: a new computer and for some reason they just have
- 9:00Speaker 6: my name abbreviated. So yeah, don't worry, hey, And just
- 9:03Speaker 6: you know, Jeff, my wife doesn't even know my name
- 9:05Speaker 6: at the time.
- 9:06Speaker 5: So sometimes that could be a good thing. When it
- 9:11Speaker 5: comes to the honey list, say your name and you
- 9:13Speaker 5: can't do the task.
- 9:15Speaker 6: Let's go with that. Now, she's a sweetie. Hey, Greg,
- 9:18Speaker 6: I'll have one of two questions. You can either talk
- 9:21Speaker 6: about like Kobe Dean what you see on tape or
- 9:25Speaker 6: or just kind of unpacked. What's happening with their decision
- 9:28Speaker 6: making on fourth downs at the end of the game
- 9:32Speaker 6: and just going for it when there's the risk of
- 9:35Speaker 6: turning it over in a bad position, and just I
- 9:38Speaker 6: get the idea of going for it, but everything in
- 9:43Speaker 6: the game says not in that situation, you know, So
- 9:47Speaker 6: whichever one you want to do or both.
- 9:49Speaker 3: The second part, the second question, I can't answer Mark,
- 9:51Speaker 3: because I don't know what's in Nick Siriani's head. I go,
- 9:53Speaker 3: I can't answer that, but I can speak to the
- 9:55Speaker 3: Kobe Dean, who I think is playing really, really high
- 9:59Speaker 3: level and he played that way this last seven or
- 10:02Speaker 3: eight games last year before he got hurt, and now
- 10:05Speaker 3: that he's back, I think he's playing terrific football. He's had.
- 10:09Speaker 3: He's a terrific blitzer, which was one of his strengths
- 10:12Speaker 3: coming out of Georgia. You know, obviously everybody looked at
- 10:16Speaker 3: his size as a potential issue, but he plays. I
- 10:19Speaker 3: hate this phrase, but it's true, and it took a
- 10:20Speaker 3: shape place bigger than his size. But we all saw
- 10:23Speaker 3: him this this past week when he blitzed and just
- 10:26Speaker 3: blew up Montgomery and had the sack on golf. He's
- 10:29Speaker 3: a terrific run defender. He has a great feel, he
- 10:32Speaker 3: has a quick trigger, he sees it and goes. I
- 10:35Speaker 3: think he's playing terrific football, and since he's come back,
- 10:39Speaker 3: he's not the only one. Obviously, Jalen Phillips now playing
- 10:42Speaker 3: two games is a huge factor. But you know, since
- 10:45Speaker 3: Dean has come back. You see clearly that he's playing
- 10:48Speaker 3: twice as many snaps as Campbell and there's reasons for that.
- 10:52Speaker 3: So uh so he I think he's playing great football.
- 10:56Speaker 6: Yeah, and I'll even say that I wouldn't say he
- 10:59Speaker 6: gave the sack. All say that Montgomery sacked you know,
- 11:02Speaker 6: his own I know what you mean? Yeah, yeah, Hey,
- 11:07Speaker 6: what do you what do you attribute? Do you attribute?
- 11:08Speaker 2: Like?
- 11:08Speaker 6: It just seems like he's faster this year. Is it
- 11:11Speaker 6: just because of his you know, great things before? Do
- 11:15Speaker 6: you think he's actually, you know, just worked out better
- 11:20Speaker 6: because his speed wasn't his game as much before. But
- 11:24Speaker 6: he's not against the receivers.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Hey, I still like a good night out, but I'm
- 11:29Speaker 5: not always in the mood to drink. And that's why

- 12:55Speaker 3: He's not fast. Yeah. He also had a great play
- 12:57Speaker 3: where he ran with Gibbs on a wheel ring. He's
- 13:01Speaker 3: a classic case and you hear this all the time
- 13:03Speaker 3: in the scouting community. You know, we all say it
- 13:05Speaker 3: when we watch players and then we see them at
- 13:08Speaker 3: the combine and they don't run a fast forty. He
- 13:11Speaker 3: plays faster than his time speed. It might sound cliched,
- 13:16Speaker 3: but you can clearly notice it when you watch tape
- 13:19Speaker 3: that some guys play fast. And that could be a
- 13:22Speaker 3: mental thing that then translates to physicality, to physical play
- 13:26Speaker 3: or who knows the answer, but they just seem to
- 13:30Speaker 3: play faster on the field than they do when you
- 13:32Speaker 3: put a stopwatch on them from a track stance, which
- 13:35Speaker 3: is not football.
- 13:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean when you have great instincts and you
- 13:38Speaker 5: know where to be.
- 13:39Speaker 1: T J.
- 13:39Speaker 5: Edwards is a good example of a guy who plays
- 13:41Speaker 5: faster than his time speed once he understood the defense
- 13:44Speaker 5: and he could get to his spots like Nikobe Dean
- 13:47Speaker 5: didn't defend Gibbs because he's just as fast. He took
- 13:51Speaker 5: a great angle and got to where he needed to be, so,
- 13:56Speaker 5: you know, fast the shortest point between two distances right
- 13:58Speaker 5: the straight line, and he was really good with that.
- 14:01Speaker 3: So a good question, very quick point, very quick point,
- 14:04Speaker 3: is you see that a lot with wide receivers I
- 14:06Speaker 3: remember being at the Combine years and years ago when
- 14:09Speaker 3: Anquan Bolden ran a four seven to two, and there
- 14:12Speaker 3: was an audible sigh in the in the Dome in Indianapolis,
- 14:15Speaker 3: as if, oh my god, this guy can't play in
- 14:17Speaker 3: the NFL. And he's a borderline Hall of Famer, you know,
- 14:20Speaker 3: I mean, so you see that a lot with certain
- 14:22Speaker 3: kinds of guys.
- 14:23Speaker 5: So thanks, everybody, enjoy we get Thanks guy, appreciate it.
- 14:27Speaker 5: Take care, good night,
