- 0:02Speaker 1: Things that must go on the radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: From Hell Show.
- 0:08Speaker 1: These are things that are bugging you, our dear friends
- 0:11Speaker 1: of the program. Things that you just can't stand anymore.
- 0:15Speaker 1: You have to get rid of them. So it's sort
- 0:18Speaker 1: of a last resort. You send them to us. You
- 0:21Speaker 1: send your things that must go to radiofromhell.x96.com. Put must
- 0:24Speaker 1: go on the subject line. And if we read it
- 0:26Speaker 1: on the air, it might make you feel better. We
- 0:29Speaker 1: hope it will. I'll go first. I have one of
- 0:32Speaker 1: my own thing that must go. People complaining about the
- 0:36Speaker 1: rain we've been having. Are they? Yes.
- 0:40Speaker 2: I love it.
- 0:40Speaker 1: I'm sick of the rain. I'm sick of this.
- 0:44Speaker 3: What's wrong with you people?
- 0:46Speaker 1: What's wrong with you? All right. That's my thing that
- 0:49Speaker 1: must go. This one says it's from Timbo. What must
- 0:54Speaker 1: go are faulty automobile transmissions and faulty automobile company goodwill policies.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I have a 2021 Sprinter van that we converted into
- 1:03Speaker 1: an RV. We were informed that it needs a new transmission,
- 1:07Speaker 1: which is very pricey. This van has only 35,000 miles
- 1:11Speaker 1: on it. I haven't even changed the tires yet. It's
- 1:13Speaker 1: only 12 days out of its five-year, 100,000-mile warranty. I
- 1:17Speaker 1: had no idea the transmission was an issue since I
- 1:19Speaker 1: only had intermittent issues in reverse, which I rarely use.
- 1:22Speaker 1: The company is offering some goodwill assistance, but the transmission
- 1:26Speaker 1: clearly had a manufacturing defect. since the original warranty of 100,000
- 1:30Speaker 1: miles implies that they expected the transmission to last at
- 1:33Speaker 1: least 100,000 miles. The other thing that must go is
- 1:36Speaker 1: the national goodwill manager, who refuses to take my call,
- 1:40Speaker 1: and told the phone representative that there is no further consideration.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I was told it would take about two weeks to
- 1:47Speaker 1: get the parts for repair, but they've just received the parts.
- 1:50Speaker 1: My van has been at the service center for one month,
- 1:52Speaker 1: and even more frustrating because we have been trying to
- 1:54Speaker 1: get back to Utah And my wife had to fly
- 1:57Speaker 1: home two weeks ago for appointments. Thanks for letting me vent. Timbo.
- 2:03Speaker 1: This one is very simple. Thing that must go from Marion.
- 2:06Speaker 1: This headache that I've had for a month must go.
- 2:09Speaker 1: How do I get rid of it?
- 2:11Speaker 2: You should get that looked at if you have a
- 2:13Speaker 2: headache for a month.
- 2:15Speaker 1: And finally this. Hello, my name is Ty of West Valley.
- 2:19Speaker 1: You can use my name. Normally I don't use the
- 2:22Speaker 1: employee restroom at my work if other people are in there.
- 2:26Speaker 1: But I had to go. And there was only one
- 2:29Speaker 1: other person in there. Finished up business as this person
- 2:33Speaker 1: was washing their hands. As soon as he was leaving,
- 2:35Speaker 1: another co-worker entered the bathroom and started talking to him. Hey,
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's been a while. How are you? They started to
- 2:41Speaker 1: catch up right in front of the door. I washed
- 2:44Speaker 1: my hands and they were still chatting away. I washed
- 2:47Speaker 1: my hands some more and they chatted away. I then
- 2:50Speaker 1: dried my hands with a paper towel and they chatted away.
- 2:53Speaker 1: And I had to stand there until they recognized me
- 2:56Speaker 1: trying to leave. Then they moved right in front of
- 3:00Speaker 1: the wastebasket so I couldn't throw the paper towel in there.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I'm glad that they were able to catch up with
- 3:05Speaker 1: another person, but was this really the place to do that?
- 3:09Speaker 1: I think catching up in the bathroom is not an
- 3:10Speaker 1: appropriate place.
- 3:11Speaker 2: No, it's not.
- 3:12Speaker 1: It was awkward, and they seemed unaware of their surroundings.
- 3:15Speaker 1: This is my thing that must go. Thank you for
- 3:18Speaker 1: letting me listen, lords.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Bye. Gina?
- 3:21Speaker 1: Gina?
- 3:22Speaker 2: I brought this up on Monday and I'm bringing it
- 3:25Speaker 2: up again. Being a fan of sports is hard enough.
- 3:32Speaker 2: It's harder now with all of the apps. I want
- 3:36Speaker 2: something where I can just watch whatever sport I want
- 3:39Speaker 2: without this happening. Watching the University of Utah football game.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It's a close game. It's a good game. And right
- 3:47Speaker 2: in the middle of it, ESPN decides to cut to
- 3:50Speaker 2: some breakdancing competition. And then there's a little window in
- 3:54Speaker 2: the bottom saying, if you want to keep watching this game,
- 3:56Speaker 2: you have to go to this other ESPN. ESPN has
- 3:59Speaker 2: like 10 different channels. And not all of them are
- 4:03Speaker 2: available on the same app. And by the time you
- 4:07Speaker 2: figure out where that app is, and oh, do I
- 4:10Speaker 2: sign up for a free trial just so I can
- 4:12Speaker 2: watch the rest of this game, and then I have
- 4:14Speaker 2: to remember to cancel the free trial.
- 4:16Speaker 1: You know, Gina, this is why old people don't watch
- 4:18Speaker 1: TV anymore.
- 4:21Speaker 2: But sports, it's particularly bad with sports. I hate it,
- 4:26Speaker 2: hate it, hate it, and it must go. Let's see.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Good morning, lords. I've been a longtime listener with an
- 4:32Speaker 2: occasional boner. Something that must go is artists that stop
- 4:40Speaker 2: singing at a concert mid-song to listen to their fans
- 4:44Speaker 2: sing or let them do it. I get it. But
- 4:47Speaker 2: I paid money to come hear you sing, not listen
- 4:50Speaker 2: to the audience sing everything. Just do your job.
- 4:54Speaker 3: We're having a moment.
- 4:57Speaker 1: We're raising our voices in song. Let's see.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Why is there always some clueless person in the group?
- 5:04Speaker 2: This is a thing that must go. I wrote a
- 5:07Speaker 2: thread to a number of people that today is a
- 5:09Speaker 2: certain person's birthday and to invite them to a gathering
- 5:12Speaker 2: to celebrate her. This group meets every Friday at this place,
- 5:16Speaker 2: but often many don't come. Anyway, one or two morons
- 5:19Speaker 2: have to text everyone in this group thread about unrelated
- 5:21Speaker 2: topics like an earthquake in Panama, etc. Just what the hell?
- 5:25Speaker 2: We're just trying to plan a get-together. Have a separate
- 5:28Speaker 2: side conversation on your own. Don't add it to the
- 5:30Speaker 2: group chat. Please make it go away. Thank you, Lords.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Let's see. Here's one that does not have a name
- 5:39Speaker 3: on it. Maps that don't have legends or keys to
- 5:43Speaker 3: tell us what the different color dots mean or different
- 5:46Speaker 3: color states mean. Absolutely useless without an explanation. Now this
- 5:53Speaker 3: one's a visual if you're watching us on YouTube. What
- 5:55Speaker 3: must go is movie posters where the names of the
- 5:59Speaker 3: actors are placed in a different order than where the
- 6:03Speaker 3: actors are on the poster.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Like the name right in front of them.
- 6:07Speaker 3: So it says here, a recent example is this Miami
- 6:09Speaker 3: Vice movie poster where it prints Jamie Foxx's name over
- 6:13Speaker 3: Colin Farrell and Colin Farrell's name over Jamie Foxx. Now,
- 6:17Speaker 3: I just point out you said recent.
- 6:19Speaker 2: 2006.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that's old. That's not recent. All right?
- 6:23Speaker 1: No.
- 6:23Speaker 2: There's a new Miami Vice with Michael B. Jordan and
- 6:26Speaker 2: Austin Butler.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Yes.
- 6:29Speaker 3: But they've released separate posters with them.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Right.
- 6:32Speaker 2: But that is a thing that must go. I've seen
- 6:33Speaker 2: that before. All right.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Dr.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Mike says just a few small must-goes. Reading the eye
- 6:40Speaker 3: chart with the natophenetic alphabet for your eye exam when
- 6:45Speaker 3: you don't know the natophenetic alphabet. Please just use the regular.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I've never heard of that.
- 6:51Speaker 2: What is it?
- 6:51Speaker 3: I have no idea. Please just use the regular letter names.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Don't use the incorrect names. Also, gout must go. The
- 6:59Speaker 3: pain is exquisite and only seems to appear when I'm
- 7:02Speaker 3: out of town and don't have the medicine to treat it.
- 7:06Speaker 3: And finally, this one from Tony. This is an odd one.
- 7:11Speaker 3: My thing that must go is having to wait until
- 7:13Speaker 3: January for the reboot of Baywatch.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You really? Okay, Tony.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Are you upset about that, Tony? He's very upset. He's
- 7:21Speaker 3: very concerned.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Well, apparently the....
- 7:33Speaker 3: NATO phonetic alphabet is Alpha Bravo Charlie Delta.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Oh, that stuff.
