- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's get into these crazy situations, awkward situations you've ever
- 0:03Speaker 1: been in. I mean, sometimes it's just the wrong place
- 0:06Speaker 1: at the wrong time.
- 0:06Speaker 2: What are you going to do? R-A-4-2-5-4-7-0-7. Good morning, Al.
- 0:10Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 0:11Speaker 3: Good morning, Romeo.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hey, what's up?
- 0:13Speaker 3: So, my awkward situation is I had my first threesome
- 0:17Speaker 3: when I was 45 years old.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Your first threesome at 45, okay. Yeah, I was kind
- 0:22Speaker 2: of old.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Anyway, so it was with my situationship and his girlfriend.
- 0:31Speaker 3: And right in the middle of the threesome, it was
- 0:33Speaker 3: like a light switch with her. She went off and
- 0:36Speaker 3: started going off on him, and they started arguing and fighting.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Mind you.
- 0:41Speaker 3: This person I've known half of my life, the man,
- 0:43Speaker 3: but the girlfriend I don't, I have no clue about.
- 0:46Speaker 3: So she got to get naked, naked in this. And
- 0:49Speaker 3: we were almost there, but like I said, like a
- 0:51Speaker 3: light switch, she went crazy. They started arguing and fighting
- 0:54Speaker 3: or whatever. Story short, at the end of it, me
- 0:59Speaker 3: and her end up in the ambulance driving to the
- 1:01Speaker 3: hospital together. And mind you, I didn't fight in this,
- 1:04Speaker 3: but I got her in it.
- 1:06Speaker 2: How'd you get hurt?
- 1:08Speaker 4: Exactly right.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Wait, hold on.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Was this her first threesome and that's why she was
- 1:14Speaker 1: tripping or what?
- 1:15Speaker 2: Why did she start tripping?
- 1:17Speaker 3: It was my first threesome, but they, from my understanding,
- 1:21Speaker 3: they're a swinger couple. So I have no idea what that,
- 1:23Speaker 3: we were all drunk. I can tell you that much.
- 1:25Speaker 3: We were all drunk.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Gosh, I hope so.
- 1:28Speaker 3: I don't know how the heck this happened, but like
- 1:31Speaker 3: I said, we ended up in the hospital.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Oh, that's hilarious.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Riding in the ambulance.
- 1:35Speaker 3: To get out. I was like, oh God, I don't
- 1:37Speaker 3: even want to be here.
- 1:39Speaker 2: So nobody got in on that night?
- 1:42Speaker 4: Um.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Basically, no. It was a lot of touching and kissing
- 1:48Speaker 3: and loving and all that stuff. Just, she spoiled that.
- 1:51Speaker 3: She spoiled it for me.
- 1:52Speaker 2: She ruined it for me.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Well, hey, you can always try again.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Maybe, maybe not. I don't know. I ended up in
- 2:01Speaker 3: a boot. I can tell you this, how bad it got.
- 2:03Speaker 3: I was in a boot for two weeks.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Well, Well, I hope you get your threesome at some point.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Well, within 50s, Romeo, I'm almost there. I'm almost there.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Okay. Well, good luck with that. I hope it works
- 2:16Speaker 2: out for you. Thanks for calling. Goodbye.
- 2:18Speaker 4: I mean....
- 2:21Speaker 1: Oh, there's nothing worse, right, than thinking you're going to
- 2:24Speaker 1: have a threesome and ending up in a hospital. Let's
- 2:26Speaker 1: talk about these crazy situations that you've been into, right?
- 2:29Speaker 2: You ever been in one?
- 2:29Speaker 4: Hey, Rome.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I was at my sister's candlelight. Let's see.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I was at my sister's candlelight, and my brother was
- 2:37Speaker 1: trying to fight a guy who was not.
- 2:39Speaker 2: The same color as us. He assumed.
- 2:42Speaker 1: He assumed that the guy had something to do with
- 2:46Speaker 1: her death.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I tried to stop him.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Then he pulled out his gun on me and pulled
- 2:53Speaker 1: the slide back to put a bullet in the chamber
- 2:56Speaker 1: and told me to move out of the way. I
- 2:58Speaker 1: told him, so you're going to pull out your gun
- 3:04Speaker 1: on me because I'm not letting you fight this guy?
- 3:08Speaker 1: So I step aside. They start fighting.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Oh, my God. That's a crazy situation. Yo, Rome, I
- 3:17Speaker 2: invited my good friend over to.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Have some drinks and watch football game with his new
- 3:24Speaker 1: trans girlfriend. Turns out I used to mess with her
- 3:27Speaker 1: back in my single days. Now I'm afraid my wife
- 3:30Speaker 1: will find out because now they talk a lot.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Since that day.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It was so awkward, and now I'm scared my wife's
- 3:38Speaker 1: going to find out I used to be bi. Well,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I mean, small town things, you know, small town things
- 3:50Speaker 1: happen in small towns.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Hey, good luck with that, man. That's funny.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Ever been in like a crazy situation, an awkward situation,
- 4:01Speaker 1: maybe a bank robbery or a store being hot? I
- 4:03Speaker 1: have a friend who was in a, I think it
- 4:05Speaker 1: was a Payless Shoes and was getting robbed. He was
- 4:08Speaker 1: in there buying shoes for a kid. Somebody came in
- 4:10Speaker 1: and robbed the joint.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, this is Slick.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I had a crazy moment going to the fast trip
- 4:16Speaker 1: to gas up before work. And I go inside to pay.
- 4:19Speaker 1: When I came back to my truck, some guy was
- 4:21Speaker 1: just leaning on my truck.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I told him, move. He said, is this your car?
- 4:25Speaker 2: I said, yeah. Move now before I beat you up.
- 4:30Speaker 1: And an old man walked up on him and hit,
- 4:34Speaker 1: walked up on him. and hit me and told get
- 4:41Speaker 1: from up here.
- 4:42Speaker 4: What?
- 4:42Speaker 2: It's like you're going to have to... How did that end?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Hit you or hit him and told get from up here.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I don't know what that... I don't know who got hit.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You're going to have to text me what really happened.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Alrighty, 4254-727.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Rome, when I was in my early 20s, I was
- 5:00Speaker 1: at my girl's house, which she was living at her
- 5:03Speaker 1: parents' and I was going... I was doing something to
- 5:06Speaker 1: her sexually, and her dad walked in. It was super awkward.
- 5:10Speaker 1: He asked his daughter, what are you doing? She just said,
- 5:13Speaker 1: what do you think, and walked out.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Of the room.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I was nervous as hell, and he just said, get, oh,
- 5:21Speaker 1: it's time for you to go home.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Dad, well, I can see that being a crazy situation.
- 5:29Speaker 2: All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 5:30Speaker 1: What kind of crazy situations? Awkward situations.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Have you been in?
- 5:35Speaker 1: We're talking about some of the craziest, the awkward situations
- 5:38Speaker 1: that you've been in.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, the old man. Oh, this is a follow
- 5:42Speaker 2: up on something. The old man who pulled a gun. Oh,
- 5:46Speaker 2: pulled up.
- 5:47Speaker 1: The old man that pulled up to get gas as well.
- 5:50Speaker 1: He seen and heard him, heard him telling move. I
- 5:55Speaker 1: guess the old man needed to relieve some frustration because
- 5:57Speaker 1: he punched the dude that was at my truck.
- 6:01Speaker 2: And wouldn't move.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Yeah, the old man was at least 60 plus. He
- 6:05Speaker 1: punched the dude hard, moved after that. Oh, I see
- 6:08Speaker 1: what you're saying. So the old man was helping you out, Slick.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying? Slick said he came out
- 6:14Speaker 1: of the gas station. Some dude was on his truck
- 6:16Speaker 1: and wouldn't move.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Hey, Rome.
- 6:19Speaker 2: It was my birthday.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Me and my girl were getting ready to go have
- 6:23Speaker 1: dinner right when we were going to leave. We decided
- 6:27Speaker 1: to bust a quickie in the living room. She was
- 6:29Speaker 1: on top of me. And her mom decided to vibe
- 6:36Speaker 1: to the living room, hand me my birthday card, and
- 6:40Speaker 1: tell us sorry. Hand me my birthday card and tells
- 6:44Speaker 1: us sorry. Here you go. And now I hope you
- 6:47Speaker 1: guys finish. Now my girl jumps off and felt so embarrassed.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Not me.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Gosh.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Well, there you go. All right. I can see how
- 6:59Speaker 2: that would be awkward for her. Oh my gosh, what
- 7:02Speaker 2: do you send me here? Yo, Rome, check this one out.
- 7:04Speaker 1: One of my exes did one of those dumbass loyalty
- 7:07Speaker 1: tests on me. I was with her for two months
- 7:11Speaker 1: in a relationship, knew her for six months. She hadn't
- 7:14Speaker 1: met my family or anything. Well, yeah, I failed. Had
- 7:18Speaker 1: her friend try to get at me. Well, girl power, right?
- 7:23Speaker 1: So then we get caught, whatever. Me and the friend
- 7:27Speaker 1: start talking. And like, actually, like that confrontation wasn't weird
- 7:35Speaker 1: as it is. She starts telling me she can't wait
- 7:39Speaker 1: to sleep with my brother. So I told her I
- 7:43Speaker 1: can't wait till she does either. She gets in contact
- 7:47Speaker 1: with me, with my bro. They plan a date for
- 7:51Speaker 1: her to go over.
- 7:53Speaker 2: She walks.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Let's see for her to go over. She walks over.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Some of these text messages are long. She walks in
- 8:01Speaker 1: and I'm waiting for her. Well, since I'm talking to
- 8:03Speaker 1: her friend, she wants revenge on her friend, too. So
- 8:07Speaker 1: we do it. My brother ends up in it anyway.
- 8:10Speaker 1: A few hours later, fast forward current days. I'm with
- 8:13Speaker 1: a friend and my ex is pregnant. Could be mine
- 8:17Speaker 1: or my brother's. Not sure if anyone else is a possibility.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 8:23Speaker 2: That's crazy. You're right.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Crazy situations, man. Sometimes you just end up in one.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Let's talk about these crazy situations or awkward situations you've
- 8:32Speaker 1: ever been in, right? Uh, eight, four, two, five, four,
- 8:35Speaker 1: seven to seven. Hey Rome, I was having a threesome
- 8:37Speaker 1: in the almond orchards in Shafter.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Cops pulled up on us. Now that was hella awkward.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I know not for the cops. The cops have probably
- 8:48Speaker 2: pulled up on a.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Lot of, you know, people getting busy in the, um,
- 8:52Speaker 1: In their cars. Hey, Rome. I got that girl, man.
- 8:59Speaker 1: She didn't get none that night. I'll handle her. Oh,
- 9:01Speaker 1: you're talking about poor girl.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Poor girl. She said she was 45 years old.
- 9:05Speaker 1: She was going to have her first threesome, but I
- 9:08Speaker 1: guess the girlfriend started tripping and they both ended up
- 9:11Speaker 1: in the hospital.
- 9:11Speaker 2: She ended up in a boot. Oh, that's too bad.
- 9:17Speaker 1: All righty.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Four, two, five, four, seven, seven. Yo, Rome. What's the
- 9:21Speaker 2: wildest situation you've ever been in?
- 9:25Speaker 4: Wow.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I've been in a lot of wild situations. I think the.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Craziest thing that really, and this is going to sound
- 9:35Speaker 1: really stupid, but I think the craziest thing I've ever
- 9:39Speaker 1: really been involved in was when I was on the res,
- 9:42Speaker 1: when I lived on the res. See, back when I
- 9:45Speaker 1: lived on the res, they grew a lot of pot.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So we were like the biggest, our area was like
- 9:52Speaker 1: the biggest pot producing area in the country. So uh,
- 9:57Speaker 1: they would have these, these people called camp and camp
- 10:00Speaker 1: would come in and they would fly helicopters around and
- 10:03Speaker 1: look for patches. And when, uh, my uncle said some big,
- 10:07Speaker 1: big patches on the res and it was no big
- 10:10Speaker 1: deal for us to go with them to water.
- 10:11Speaker 2: You know, we wouldn't water. I mean, obviously, but it.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Was no big deal for us to be with our
- 10:16Speaker 1: uncle's you know, our aunts and uncles on the reservation
- 10:19Speaker 1: and them just going, hey, we got to stop by
- 10:21Speaker 1: the patch and I'm going to, you know, I got to.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Water real quick.
- 10:24Speaker 1: And as a kid, you just sit in the truck
- 10:26Speaker 1: or sit, you know, sit in the bed of the truck.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You wouldn't really do much. But when camp came, you
- 10:32Speaker 1: just take off. You didn't take off in your truck.
- 10:34Speaker 1: You just took off.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Running because camp came in on helicopters and on foot.
- 10:39Speaker 2: So that was kind of crazy.
- 10:41Speaker 1: The first time I had to run out of a
- 10:43Speaker 1: pot patch or weed patch was.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Kind of wild.
- 10:48Speaker 1: The other thing that was funny, though, that was just crazy.
- 10:50Speaker 1: This is crazy was when what camp would do is
- 10:54Speaker 1: they would take all the weed that they collect and
- 10:56Speaker 1: they'd put it, build a pile probably as high as a,
- 11:00Speaker 1: I don't know, a two story building. And they would
- 11:03Speaker 1: just light it on fire. Now, as kids, we were
- 11:06Speaker 1: on our bikes. We could literally we'd go watch them
- 11:09Speaker 1: light it on fire because it was cool to us, man.
- 11:13Speaker 2: It was a big thing.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Big, big fire, you know, probably, I don't even know
- 11:18Speaker 1: how tall. And we would literally maybe be 40 yards
- 11:24Speaker 1: from it, watching it, just sitting there, me and my cousin,
- 11:27Speaker 1: just sitting on our bikes, cousins and friends, just watching
- 11:30Speaker 1: all this weed burn. I'm pretty sure we were high
- 11:33Speaker 1: by the time we went home. So, I mean, I've
- 11:36Speaker 1: been in.
- 11:37Speaker 2: A lot of wild situations. Those are just two of
- 11:39Speaker 2: the funniest, I guess. Hey, what's up, bro?
- 11:42Speaker 4: What up, man?
- 11:43Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 11:54Speaker 5: And he really impatient. The food was taking too long.
- 11:58Speaker 4: So he gets up, don't see anybody, walks all the
- 12:00Speaker 4: way into.
- 12:01Speaker 2: The back, and the place is being robbed at gunpoint. Oh,
- 12:03Speaker 2: my God!
- 12:07Speaker 4: Everybody in the back on the floor, all kind of stuff, man.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that sounds about right for Richmond and Oakland.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Sure, Richmond and Oakland. Man, everything good.
- 12:17Speaker 3: My brother?
- 12:18Speaker 2: Everything's amazing, man. I can't call it everything. Everything's really cool.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Hey, that's right, man. Hey, well, you have a blessing, man.
- 12:25Speaker 4: We play Southern City College this weekend. All right, brother.
- 12:30Speaker 2: What's up?
- 12:30Speaker 5: Hey, we're celebrating our 28th year anniversary, man.
- 12:33Speaker 2: 28th year here?
- 12:34Speaker 5: 28 years, yep.
- 12:36Speaker 4: We've been together 28 years.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Oh, that's awesome. That's awesome. Congratulations. You live in Eureka, though.
- 12:41Speaker 2: What the hell are you going.
- 12:42Speaker 6: To do there?
- 12:43Speaker 5: Hey, we headed to San Francisco, man.
- 12:46Speaker 1: We're going to celebrate out there. I was going to say,
- 12:51Speaker 1: you're going to go to the Smokehouse or whatever.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I don't even know if they have that anymore up
- 12:55Speaker 2: there in Fernvale. Oh, yeah.
- 12:57Speaker 4: I'm not sure.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I'm going to go over to the pier and see
- 12:59Speaker 1: about some type of, like, cruise or something.
- 13:02Speaker 3: All right.
- 13:02Speaker 2: You guys have a good time.
- 13:04Speaker 4: All right.
- 13:05Speaker 5: Bye. Good morning, y'all.
- 13:07Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 13:08Speaker 5: Yeah, what up, Ron?
- 13:09Speaker 2: What up, brother?
- 13:11Speaker 5: Hey, man, I was that guy that said the reason
- 13:13Speaker 5: why you got the waffle was because you're a... Oh, yeah. Oh,
- 13:16Speaker 5: my gosh.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 13:17Speaker 2: That's a good question.
- 13:18Speaker 4: No, not really.
- 13:18Speaker 5: I mean, trips, weekend getaways, things like that.
- 13:21Speaker 4: But nothing. I can't think of anything offhand. Really?
- 13:42Speaker 5: You never got, like, free food.
- 13:44Speaker 2: In the city? Well, I did free, yeah. I got
- 13:49Speaker 2: free extra teas once at Los Hermanos. They helped me out. Yeah, probably.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I mean, people have been, the biggest thing, we.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Don't get it no more, is we used to get, like,
- 14:02Speaker 1: free weekends in Vegas, hotel rooms, things like that. I mean,
- 14:08Speaker 1: concert tickets, John, I mean, I get free, I got
- 14:10Speaker 1: free concert tickets, been to free stuff all over the,
- 14:12Speaker 1: you know, all over the state.
- 14:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:16Speaker 6: I do.
- 14:16Speaker 2: So if it's something I want to see, yeah.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I mean, the coolest thing, I guess the coolest thing
- 14:21Speaker 1: that ever happened was one time I was in Vegas and, uh,
- 14:27Speaker 1: Jay-Z was performing and we, uh, The promote or the
- 14:32Speaker 1: Jay-Z's manager, whoever we dealt record label or something, hooked
- 14:35Speaker 1: me up with VIP and Jay-Z had a special stage.
- 14:38Speaker 2: With his own liquor and bar.
- 14:40Speaker 1: And it was right in front of, you know, right
- 14:42Speaker 1: behind all the seated area, wherever it was performing at.
- 14:45Speaker 2: That was pretty cool.
- 14:47Speaker 4: How long was that?
- 14:49Speaker 2: Oh, that had to be 10 years ago. Maybe it's
- 14:51Speaker 2: been a while.
- 14:52Speaker 5: Well, she was still a Beyonce.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. That's cool. Yeah, no, no, no, no.
- 14:59Speaker 1: That was fun.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I'm sure there's something.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I mean, getting to go to Disneyland every year was great.
- 15:05Speaker 1: A couple of times a year was always great. But,
- 15:07Speaker 1: you know, it's hard to say.
- 15:08Speaker 2: It's hard to say.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Oh, that's cool.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Yeah, man.
- 15:12Speaker 4: I'm jealous of you, bro.
- 15:15Speaker 5: I would like some free cheese.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Don't ever be jealous of me. I'm just a fat DJ, bro.
- 15:20Speaker 4: You're good.
- 15:21Speaker 2: All right, man. Thanks for calling. I mean, yeah, I mean,
- 15:26Speaker 2: there's a lot. I have to remember. I've done so
- 15:28Speaker 2: much in my life.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I could tell you a lot of cool stories about
- 15:33Speaker 1: just because I'm me. I mean, I probably got some
- 15:36Speaker 1: cooler stories because when I was a kid on the
- 15:38Speaker 1: reservation and my dad was the tribal chairman, then what
- 15:42Speaker 1: I get, what I've.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Gotten on the radio. Hey, Rome, what are you eating
- 15:44Speaker 2: right now, bro? I was eating a banana and a
- 15:49Speaker 2: cup of coffee.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Hey, damn, Rome, I think you have a stalker on
- 15:55Speaker 1: your hands.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Come on, man. I mean, let's be honest. Some people
- 16:03Speaker 2: you're fascinated.
- 16:03Speaker 3: By, man.
- 16:04Speaker 2: You can do a lot of things. I've gotten to
- 16:05Speaker 2: do a lot of things in my life. You know,
- 16:10Speaker 2: it's what it is. Hey, Rome.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I think we should have asked Romeo any question about
- 16:14Speaker 1: himself day. Yeah.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Isn't that every day?
- 16:22Speaker 1: People call me up all the time and ask me questions.
- 16:25Speaker 2: That might just be every day I'm on the radio.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Live from the Just Winged Studios, it's Romeo. Hey, Rome,
- 16:32Speaker 1: when it's all said and done, when you walk away
- 16:35Speaker 1: from this morning show, what do you want to be
- 16:38Speaker 1: remembered for? What do you want your legacy to stay?
- 16:45Speaker 2: That's far more deeper than me, bro. I don't have
- 16:49Speaker 2: a legacy. I don't care. Dude, I'm just living my life. Yeah.
- 16:54Speaker 3: No, I don't.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Nothing. I really don't care, man.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I just do the show to have fun every morning and,
- 17:02Speaker 1: you know, make sure people laugh. I'm not trying to
- 17:05Speaker 1: solve the world's problems, man. They got people for that.
- 17:08Speaker 1: There's people out there that want to have a legacy,
- 17:11Speaker 1: and I just want to make sure that I just
- 17:15Speaker 1: want to pay my mortgage, bro, and make sure they
- 17:18Speaker 1: don't repo my car, to be honest with you.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't really have nothing, I guess. Nothing.
- 17:24Speaker 1: It's not that serious for me. Life's not that serious
- 17:26Speaker 1: for me. For some people it is, and good for them.
- 17:30Speaker 1: good for them um yeah there you go not the
- 17:33Speaker 1: answer you wanted but okay yo Rome your legacy I
- 17:37Speaker 1: will remember is the Raiders songs I'll play a Raiders
- 17:41Speaker 1: song oh yeah the Raiders didn't the.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Raiders play last night or in their last preseason game
- 17:47Speaker 2: I think um I think they did uh.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Yeah, the Raiders songs. I got a new Raiders song, actually.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Next week, does football start next week? I'll play it
- 17:58Speaker 1: next week when football starts. Next Wednesday, I think, football begins, right?
- 18:02Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, are you ready for some football or what? Well,
- 18:05Speaker 2: I guess it starts next week, right? Oh, we're going
- 18:08Speaker 2: to do Monday Night Football again. Just wing it.
- 18:11Speaker 1: First Monday Night Football is... When was the first Monday
- 18:14Speaker 1: Night Football game? Let me look at the date.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Two weeks?
- 18:21Speaker 6: One week?
- 18:22Speaker 1: Wait, no, that's August. I've got to go to September.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Hold on, let me go to September. Yeah, two weeks
- 18:28Speaker 1: until Monday Night Football, right? Yeah, the 14th is the
- 18:31Speaker 1: first Monday Night game. That's actually the Chiefs and the Broncos, right?
- 18:35Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, the Chiefs and the Broncos. So, yeah,
- 18:37Speaker 1: we're going to be at Just Winkin' again, hanging out,
- 18:39Speaker 1: having a good time, checking out the golf simulators, having
- 18:41Speaker 1: some drinks and wings. Rome, the Niners 18, the Raiders
- 18:45Speaker 1: 12 yesterday. I saw the Raiders lost. Raiders lost to
- 18:51Speaker 1: the Niners. 18-12, what was it, all field goals?
- 18:54Speaker 4: Jeez.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, they lost against the Niners. Well, they do suck.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, would you call yourself the voice of Bakersfield,
- 19:05Speaker 1: like Big Boy is the voice of L.A.? You're the
- 19:07Speaker 1: most famous morning show in Bakersfield.
- 19:09Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't say all that.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Just like I wouldn't say Big Boy was the voice
- 19:16Speaker 1: of L.A., but, you know, it's.
- 19:18Speaker 2: All a matter of perspective. But, no, not even close.
- 19:22Speaker 2: I've just been here a long time. Yeah, no, not
- 19:26Speaker 2: at all.
- 19:26Speaker 1: There's way bigger voices in Bakersfield than me. All right.
- 19:33Speaker 2: All right, football. Football, football, football.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Football starts on Wednesday the 9th, right? I don't know
- 19:39Speaker 1: who the first game is, but, boy, they're dragging out NFL.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I'm sorry about this. But if you're going to have
- 19:44Speaker 1: games on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Wait, let's say Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday,
- 19:52Speaker 1: and Monday. That's too much football for me. They need
- 19:55Speaker 1: to just go back to Sunday and Monday. I'm tired
- 19:58Speaker 1: of Thursday. I'm sure Wednesday is just a one-off because
- 20:02Speaker 1: the season starts.
- 20:02Speaker 2: But, man, they're dragging this out. It's ridiculous. Hey, good morning, Romeo.
- 20:08Speaker 2: You're such a good dude.
- 20:09Speaker 1: So humble with all these nice comments being said about you.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Just take them in. You'll be the next Art LeBeau
- 20:17Speaker 1: of Bakersfield. By the way, what's the weather like in Bakersfield?
- 20:23Speaker 1: It's raining here in Santa Cruz, Gilrod.
- 20:26Speaker 2: I don't know. It's like 90, right? Sunny and what?
- 20:31Speaker 2: It was cloudy yesterday in Bakersfield. What's it like in.
- 20:36Speaker 2: What is it going to be today?
- 20:37Speaker 3: Sunny?
- 20:37Speaker 2: Oh, cloudy. Cloudy high 97.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Gilrod. I wish I was in Santa Cruz right now. Although,
- 20:45Speaker 1: I guess I wasn't mad yesterday. It was actually kind
- 20:47Speaker 1: of nice outside.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Yeah. All right. Hartlebo. That'd be funny. I want to
- 20:53Speaker 2: send a shout out to Lil Sleepy. She's my boo,
- 20:57Speaker 2: you know.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Howdy to 4.1 Rhythm of the Valley. It's Romeo and Dr.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Dev is here. VIP MD. He is our plastic surgeon,
- 21:05Speaker 2: reconstructive surgeon.
- 21:06Speaker 1: He's the guy we go to to talk about what's
- 21:08Speaker 1: going on in Bakersfield medically, what's going on in the
- 21:11Speaker 1: world medically.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Good morning, Dr.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Dev.
- 21:14Speaker 5: Good morning, Romeo.
- 21:15Speaker 2: How's everything going?
- 21:17Speaker 4: It's good to be back. You know what? I'm going
- 21:19Speaker 4: to tell you. I'm kind of glad summer's coming to
- 21:22Speaker 4: an end.
- 21:22Speaker 6: And kids are going back to school because summers always
- 21:25Speaker 6: get crazy.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Why do they get crazy, Dr.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Dev? Because you know what happens is that travel comes up.
- 21:34Speaker 5: People have activities. Kids have things.
- 21:37Speaker 6: And, you know, kids grow up and then they go
- 21:39Speaker 6: off to.
- 21:39Speaker 4: College, Romeo. And guess what?
- 21:41Speaker 5: You got to make plans for.
- 21:42Speaker 1: That, right?
- 21:43Speaker 2: Can I ask you a question, Dr. Dev, about travel?
- 21:49Speaker 1: It seems like I always have family members who travel
- 21:52Speaker 1: to Texas.
- 21:53Speaker 2: And when they come back, they're always sick.
- 21:58Speaker 1: What is– is there something real to that of traveling
- 22:02Speaker 1: and getting ill because you're somewhere else?
- 22:05Speaker 2: Is that a real thing or am I just crazy?
- 22:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:08Speaker 3: No, no.
- 22:08Speaker 5: Well, number one, I think you are crazy but in
- 22:11Speaker 5: a good way. But no, no.
- 22:15Speaker 4: Listen, listen. Seriously.
- 22:16Speaker 6: What it really is, Romeo, is that people travel and
- 22:20Speaker 6: when they get on planes– The one.
- 22:22Speaker 4: Thing that I've noticed people don't do very well, and
- 22:25Speaker 4: that is hydrate and drink plenty of water.
- 22:29Speaker 6: And that air, you know, the air dries people out.
- 22:32Speaker 4: They're not ready for that.
- 22:33Speaker 5: They're in close quarters with lots of other people. They're
- 22:36Speaker 5: not ready for that. And I'm not telling people to
- 22:38Speaker 5: be paranoid. That's not it.
- 22:39Speaker 6: I'm just telling them is that, you know, they really.
- 22:42Speaker 5: Have to prepare ahead of time.
- 22:43Speaker 6: So here's one thing that I tell people all the
- 22:47Speaker 6: time is, If you know you're getting on a plane
- 22:50Speaker 6: ride that's more than an hour long or kind of
- 22:52Speaker 6: any plane ride with people that you don't know, I
- 22:56Speaker 6: urge people, start.
- 22:57Speaker 4: Drinking water the morning of for sure, number one. Number two,
- 23:02Speaker 4: there are the immune boosters and stuff.
- 23:05Speaker 5: It doesn't matter which one.
- 23:06Speaker 6: I don't endorse any single one, but there's so many
- 23:09Speaker 6: of them. out there, I encourage people to start on
- 23:11Speaker 6: that a few days before. The other is I tell people,
- 23:15Speaker 6: be regular with your bowel movements because that is underestimated too.
- 23:21Speaker 6: If you're not regular, you become ill, you become dehydrated,
- 23:26Speaker 6: and you're traveling, you're on a plane for two, three hours.
- 23:29Speaker 5: That's a problem. That's a problem.
- 23:31Speaker 4: And so people have.
- 23:34Speaker 6: To pay attention to these things. You don't just get
- 23:35Speaker 6: on a plane and go. you have to be ready
- 23:38Speaker 6: to go. And I think that is a really, really
- 23:41Speaker 6: important part. The other and the last part is if
- 23:44Speaker 6: you're feeling even a little not so well, then really
- 23:49Speaker 6: plan ahead of time, you know, really plan ahead of time. People,
- 23:53Speaker 6: people get on a plane and they're like, yeah, I
- 23:55Speaker 6: don't feel so well, but I got to make this trip.
- 23:57Speaker 5: Cause I paid for the ticket.
- 23:58Speaker 4: I get it.
- 23:59Speaker 5: You know, I get it. People pay for tickets and
- 24:01Speaker 5: they're not going to get the money back.
- 24:03Speaker 6: That doesn't mean that you can't start taking care of
- 24:07Speaker 6: yourself before you get on that plane.
- 24:09Speaker 1: One of the things that you've all, all of the
- 24:11Speaker 1: things that you said right now, are we all, we
- 24:13Speaker 1: over here and we talk about, you know, you look
- 24:15Speaker 1: at these teachers who are in schools with these kids who,
- 24:18Speaker 1: who have germs and they get sick. But if these
- 24:20Speaker 1: teachers protect themselves, they can make sure or help have
- 24:24Speaker 1: a better chance of not getting sick. We always seem
- 24:26Speaker 1: to blame somebody else, it seems like, when we catch
- 24:29Speaker 1: a cold or when we catch something as opposed to going, well,
- 24:31Speaker 1: maybe we should do some things to take care of
- 24:33Speaker 1: ourselves and our immune system. Is that fair to say
- 24:36Speaker 1: or is that not a fair statement?
- 24:37Speaker 3: That is.
- 24:39Speaker 5: Really fair to say, Romeo, I think. And I think, again,
- 24:42Speaker 5: you know what?
- 24:43Speaker 4: People don't say it enough.
- 24:44Speaker 6: People don't look at themselves as a potential solution.
- 24:50Speaker 5: You know?
- 24:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:51Speaker 6: Instead, what they want to do is look at, hey,
- 24:54Speaker 6: you know, how can I push this off to somebody
- 24:57Speaker 6: and figure out how then I can help myself.
- 25:01Speaker 5: And I'm like, well, you know, you could.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Have helped yourself even before this started.
- 25:05Speaker 5: And that is, you know, be proactive.
- 25:08Speaker 4: That's all.
- 25:09Speaker 3: All right.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Dr.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Dev is here.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Dr.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Dev is here. VIPMD.com.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Dr.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Dev, we're going to talk to you a little bit more.
- 25:15Speaker 4: It's Romeo.
- 25:15Speaker 2: It's Hot 94.1. Dr. Dev is here. He's our guy.
- 25:21Speaker 1: We've been talking to him for decades about just medical,
- 25:24Speaker 1: what's going on in our hometown and around the world
- 25:28Speaker 1: just so, because there's trends with plastic surgery, reconstructive. Now
- 25:31Speaker 1: he has a surgery center where he just does so much.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Good morning, Dr.
- 25:36Speaker 6: Dev.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Good morning, Romeo.
- 25:39Speaker 2: So let's talk about what's going on. What's new? What's
- 25:41Speaker 2: happening in the field?
- 25:43Speaker 4: Boy, I'll tell you what, Romeo.
- 25:46Speaker 6: I'm always looking for different things and things that we
- 25:49Speaker 6: need to learn from, including myself.
- 25:53Speaker 5: When I say we, I.
- 25:55Speaker 4: Mean the royal we, right?
- 25:56Speaker 3: Oh, sure.
- 25:57Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 25:59Speaker 6: I'll tell you, I've been spending so much time, so
- 26:03Speaker 6: much time, and I mean probably now I can tell
- 26:06Speaker 6: you is I've spent probably about.
- 26:10Speaker 4: a year and a half, probably this will be two
- 26:12Speaker 4: years studying peptides. Okay.
- 26:16Speaker 6: And let me tell you why, because I hear so
- 26:18Speaker 6: much about, I have patients that come to me and
- 26:20Speaker 6: they all are interested and they all want to know
- 26:23Speaker 6: what they can do, how they can do it. And
- 26:25Speaker 6: you know, where they can get it the cheapest.
- 26:26Speaker 5: And I'd be like, doc, I really want to get
- 26:28Speaker 5: on this. I heard someone's on RETA, you know, like
- 26:30Speaker 5: that's just it.
- 26:31Speaker 6: And, and, and now he's like, he's ripped, he's jacked,
- 26:34Speaker 6: you know, all these things. And I'm like, okay, listen, let's,
- 26:37Speaker 6: First of all, we're like in our 60s, so let's
- 26:40Speaker 6: not use the word jack anymore. Let's talk about it.
- 26:49Speaker 4: That's funny.
- 26:51Speaker 6: So I realize what I have to do is, and
- 26:55Speaker 6: this is why I've waited so long to even talk
- 26:57Speaker 6: to you about it live, is I need to educate
- 27:00Speaker 6: myself about this first. There's so many scientific papers out there,
- 27:05Speaker 6: so many literatures out there, or literature out there that's
- 27:08Speaker 6: been written. There haven't been really a whole lot of
- 27:11Speaker 6: books per se, but there sure is a lot of
- 27:13Speaker 6: scientific literature. Guess where a lot of it comes from, Romeo?
- 27:16Speaker 6: It comes from Russia, Eastern Bloc countries, right?
- 27:22Speaker 4: In Europe. And I looked.
- 27:24Speaker 5: At it and I'm like, wow, what is going on here?
- 27:27Speaker 5: What is the deal?
- 27:28Speaker 6: Well, it turns out that there have been scientists studying
- 27:32Speaker 6: peptides for a very, very long time. And now we're
- 27:37Speaker 6: starting to see it because.
- 27:38Speaker 4: It's hitting America.
- 27:40Speaker 6: And athletes are finally saying, hey, you know, and I
- 27:43Speaker 6: think the reason why it's happening is because people are migrating,
- 27:47Speaker 6: people are traveling, athletes are traveling.
- 27:49Speaker 4: And, you know, we're starting to see a blurring of
- 27:51Speaker 4: the lines to some degree.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Oh, gotcha.
- 27:54Speaker 6: What I'm getting at is there are so many different
- 27:56Speaker 6: peptides out there and different categories of peptides.
- 28:00Speaker 5: So I was hoping that I would at.
- 28:02Speaker 6: Least, we could start the conversation by saying, look, there's
- 28:07Speaker 6: certain groups of.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Peptides out there, and I'll tell you what they are, okay?
- 28:11Speaker 4: We can go into specifics of them at some other time, but.
- 28:14Speaker 6: Let me just start by glossing over it for now.
- 28:16Speaker 6: There's the metabolic boosters and tissue repair. What that is
- 28:21Speaker 6: is Metabolic boosters, those are peptides that help your body, say,
- 28:26Speaker 6: generate energy.
- 28:28Speaker 5: So you feel like you have more energy.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Okay.
- 28:31Speaker 6: There are peptides out there that basically repair tissue from
- 28:36Speaker 6: heavy workouts and inflammation.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Okay.
- 28:40Speaker 6: Then group two are the ones, and they're called the
- 28:44Speaker 6: cellular energy and neuroprotection peptides. What those do, or those
- 28:50Speaker 6: are actually targeted at fat cell breakdown, okay? And then
- 28:56Speaker 6: the neuroprotection are the ones that actually keep your mind protected,
- 29:03Speaker 6: your brain protected, but help boost certain production of certain
- 29:08Speaker 6: cells in the brain.
- 29:10Speaker 4: Okay.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Sounds like we all need that, but yeah.
- 29:12Speaker 6: Yeah, kind of like that Bradley Cooper movie.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Kind of like that. I know, talking about
- 29:18Speaker 2: where he's smarter than everybody, yeah.
- 29:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:21Speaker 6: And then the last, which is group three, is what
- 29:24Speaker 6: we call longevity and immune rejuvenation.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Okay.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 29:28Speaker 6: And those group of peptides help restore immune function, and
- 29:33Speaker 6: they maximize your metabolic output, and that goes back to
- 29:36Speaker 6: energy production again.
- 29:38Speaker 4: Okay? Okay.
- 29:39Speaker 5: And so.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Okay.
- 29:41Speaker 5: And so you're going to have a combination of all these.
- 29:44Speaker 6: People call them stacking, so they use one peptide from
- 29:47Speaker 6: each of those three categories.
- 29:48Speaker 5: And they take those.
- 29:50Speaker 6: And, you know, they don't have any physician direction to this.
- 29:54Speaker 6: The FDA doesn't regulate or has not approved any of these.
- 29:58Speaker 6: And so, you know, I realize, I'm like, God, I really,
- 30:01Speaker 6: really need to start informing people.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Sure.
- 30:05Speaker 6: You know, talk to your doctor, get some scientific evidence.
- 30:09Speaker 6: And before you start taking this, you know, you're going
- 30:11Speaker 6: to come across people that are selling them online. If
- 30:14Speaker 6: you notice one thing that you're going to come across
- 30:17Speaker 6: is it says it right on the vials.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Research purposes only, no human use, no animal use.
- 30:23Speaker 6: Sure.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:24Speaker 6: Right.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 6: Now people see this Romeo and they still order them.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Well, you know, they, they, everybody wants a wonder drug.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 30:35Speaker 6: And so, you know, again, I always tell people I
- 30:39Speaker 6: admire people for wanting to get in better shape and
- 30:43Speaker 6: to take better care of themselves.
- 30:45Speaker 5: It's really, really, I mean, I really like that. I
- 30:48Speaker 5: really do.
- 30:49Speaker 4: But I want people to do it safely.
- 30:51Speaker 2: And you can do it safely. These peptides that are
- 30:54Speaker 2: out there, you can do it safely with.
- 30:56Speaker 5: Them, right?
- 30:57Speaker 4: You can, Romeo. I just want people to get.
- 31:00Speaker 6: The advice of their physician and have the physician involved
- 31:03Speaker 6: at some point. Then they can take it to the
- 31:06Speaker 6: next level.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I think it's getting to the point, though, where you
- 31:09Speaker 1: have to have this conversation with your patients now because
- 31:11Speaker 1: it's becoming such a trend or so widely used without
- 31:16Speaker 1: any oversight, right?
- 31:18Speaker 5: Yeah, right, right.
- 31:19Speaker 4: That's exactly right. You know, that's my concern.
- 31:22Speaker 2: All right, Dr.
- 31:23Speaker 5: Dev.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Dr.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Dev, he has a surgery center over there on, what
- 31:27Speaker 2: is it, Buck Owens? You're off of Buck Owens, by
- 31:29Speaker 2: the way. Buck Owens. Heart Hospital. Select Avenue. You can
- 31:33Speaker 2: check him out. You can give him a call, Dr.
- 31:34Speaker 6: Dev.
- 31:34Speaker 2: What's your.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Number?
- 31:38Speaker 6: 327-2101.
- 31:38Speaker 2: And one of the important.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Things that you need to understand, he does have a
- 31:41Speaker 1: surgery center, which there's a lot of things that can
- 31:44Speaker 1: be done that are in and out nowadays that didn't.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Used to be. very safely, quickly.
- 31:50Speaker 1: I won't say quickly, but safely, and you can be
- 31:52Speaker 1: in and out, you know, and get very good care.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Dr. Dev, we'll talk to you next week, right? You're
- 31:57Speaker 2: back in business?
- 31:58Speaker 6: You're around?
- 31:59Speaker 2: You're working hard again?
- 31:59Speaker 5: Yep, yep.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Well, let's just say I'm working. So.
- 32:05Speaker 1: All right, Dr.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Dev, we'll talk to you next week.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Okay, Romeo.
- 32:09Speaker 2: All right. It's not 94.1. Hey, Rome, I love peptides,
- 32:13Speaker 2: and I've never felt better.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Then how I feel currently, energized, down on weight, put
- 32:20Speaker 1: on some muscle, etc. My current weekly stack, Romeo. Okay,
- 32:26Speaker 1: so you're on, I don't understand peptides.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I know Dr. Dev just explained them all to us.
- 32:34Speaker 1: GLP-1, growth peptides, recovery peptides, antioxidants, energy, longevity.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Information support.
- 32:44Speaker 1: You're on all these peptides Monday through Sunday.
- 32:48Speaker 2: No peptides.
- 32:51Speaker 5: Morning.
- 32:51Speaker 2: You're taking a lot of peptides, bro.
- 32:54Speaker 1: How can anybody afford all that?
- 32:59Speaker 2: That's wild. Well, they're getting popular.
- 33:02Speaker 3: I mean, Dr.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Dev's telling you, you know, they're getting there.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Already 4-2-5-4, 7-7, Rome. Are you excited yet about football?
- 33:11Speaker 2: It starts on Wednesday. Football starts on Wednesday.
- 33:16Speaker 4: I am.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Not necessarily excited about football.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I'm sure when Wednesday comes. No, it starts next Wednesday, right?
- 33:26Speaker 1: This football start doesn't start this Wednesday, does it? When
- 33:30Speaker 1: does football start?
- 33:33Speaker 2: Schedule. The first game is what? A week one is.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Oh, the first game is Wednesday, September 9th. So we
- 33:44Speaker 2: got two weeks for football, right? Yeah, no, I'm good.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Live from the Just Wing It studios, Rome, it's Headbutt Raider. Bro,
- 33:51Speaker 1: I'm dying. Wife and I went out last night to
- 33:54Speaker 1: watch the stupid game before I knew it was... We
- 33:57Speaker 1: were bar hopping until they kicked us out at closing
- 34:01Speaker 1: around 2 a.m. We didn't stop drinking until 5 a.m. But, hey,
- 34:05Speaker 1: I'm still at work. My girl can't party.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I can hang.
- 34:09Speaker 1: My girl can't party, can't hang anymore.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Oh, it's Headbutt Raider. Yeah, man. I mean, it happens. Hey,
- 34:19Speaker 2: it happens, right? It happens. So, yesterday... I got a
- 34:25Speaker 2: phone call from a friend of mine, him and his wife.
- 34:29Speaker 2: They're kind of kinky. Well, I don't know if you
- 34:31Speaker 2: call them kinky.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I guess swinging, swingers, and some of that kinky lifestyle
- 34:37Speaker 1: is just not as accepted. I don't know if it's
- 34:43Speaker 1: not accepted in society as it should be or you
- 34:49Speaker 1: think it is or maybe just not by certain people, but.
- 34:53Speaker 2: He lost his job. yesterday.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Yesterday, they fired him from his job because somebody at
- 35:01Speaker 1: his office had found that him and his wife started
- 35:03Speaker 1: a social media site, maybe a YouTube channel or something,
- 35:08Speaker 1: Instagram or something. They started a social media site of
- 35:12Speaker 1: them going to the different swingers clubs that they go to. Now,
- 35:18Speaker 1: they've always been kinky. I've known them for 20 years.
- 35:21Speaker 1: They've always been into some of the kink, whatever kinky
- 35:26Speaker 1: is to you, and swinging. But they've never told anybody
- 35:30Speaker 1: about it. They were real private about it. But they
- 35:35Speaker 1: said they were going to put it on social media,
- 35:38Speaker 1: I guess, start a site. I don't know if they're
- 35:39Speaker 1: trying to make money off it. I don't know what
- 35:40Speaker 1: their plan was. Either way, somebody found out about it
- 35:45Speaker 1: at the office, told the boss. The boss didn't like it.
- 35:47Speaker 2: The company doesn't like it, so they got rid of him.
- 35:50Speaker 2: And he's mad about it. I don't know if there's
- 35:52Speaker 2: any legal repercussions about it. He was calling.
- 35:55Speaker 1: That's why he was calling me. Because we have another
- 35:57Speaker 1: friend who's a lawyer. And he was asking for his
- 35:59Speaker 1: phone number.
- 36:00Speaker 2: He lost it.
- 36:02Speaker 1: But I don't know that there is, right? I had
- 36:06Speaker 1: to listen to him tell me how it was wrong. Well,
- 36:08Speaker 1: you put yourself out there. His process, well, that's his
- 36:12Speaker 1: personal life. Not his work life.
- 36:14Speaker 2: He's never done anything at the job. But heck, that's
- 36:18Speaker 2: the world we live in today, right? It carries over.
- 36:19Speaker 5: I just.
- 36:22Speaker 2: I didn't know what to tell him. Maybe you shouldn't
- 36:24Speaker 2: have put your life out there.
- 36:25Speaker 1: People used to hide stuff. I mean, people did used
- 36:27Speaker 1: to keep things secret, even though they were, you know,
- 36:30Speaker 1: now you want to make it public. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Rome, do
- 36:34Speaker 1: you think it's right that a job should fire somebody
- 36:39Speaker 1: like you just said about your buddy getting fired because
- 36:42Speaker 1: of his personal life?
- 36:44Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, what are you going to do?
- 36:46Speaker 2: You put your life out there. I don't know. It's like,
- 36:53Speaker 2: you know, I mean, you kind of deserve what you get, right?
- 36:57Speaker 1: If you put your life out there on the Internet,
- 36:59Speaker 1: you can't expect there not to be accountability and consequences.
- 37:04Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know if him and his wife
- 37:05Speaker 1: being swingers is enough to lose your job over. I mean,
- 37:11Speaker 1: it's pretty kind of normal. I remember when that stuff, though,
- 37:14Speaker 1: was taboo. I remember living in a time when, you know,
- 37:18Speaker 1: swinging was, you know.
- 37:20Speaker 2: You kept it secret. But nowadays, I don't know. I mean,
- 37:25Speaker 2: I don't know. What are you going to do?
- 37:27Speaker 6: I just want to make a comment on the thing
- 37:31Speaker 6: about swingers.
- 37:32Speaker 3: Two things. You shouldn't have put his business out there.
- 37:34Speaker 5: And secondly, there's a thing.
- 37:35Speaker 4: Called at-will employees. Sure.
- 37:39Speaker 5: You can lose your job for any reason, no reason.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I think California is at-will, right? I think California is at-will.
- 37:45Speaker 2: That's correct. Yeah, I mean, sure. I get it. I just,
- 37:49Speaker 2: you know, I mean, I don't know.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Swinging to me is so common nowadays that it just is.
- 37:57Speaker 1: It's not as common as it was 20 years ago.
- 37:59Speaker 1: I mean, it was probably just as common, but it
- 38:00Speaker 1: wasn't out there as it was 20 years ago.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Well, there it is right there. Yeah, I get you.
- 38:05Speaker 2: I mean, he's got to deal with it.
- 38:07Speaker 1: But I think they were starting a site, you know,
- 38:10Speaker 1: to show like a TikTok or something where they were
- 38:12Speaker 1: going to swingers clubs. There's a lot of swingers clubs
- 38:16Speaker 1: throughout the United States. So I think that's what they
- 38:18Speaker 1: were doing. So I don't know, but I get what
- 38:20Speaker 1: you're saying.
- 38:21Speaker 4: I get it.
- 38:22Speaker 2: All right, man.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Later.
- 38:23Speaker 2: I mean, it just, what are you going to, I mean,
- 38:25Speaker 2: it just, I don't know.
- 38:31Speaker 1: I mean, you want to put your life out there
- 38:34Speaker 1: on the internet, and there's, I guess there's accountability now
- 38:37Speaker 1: for it. There's no accountability for accuracy and facts. I mean,
- 38:42Speaker 1: that's more, that's more concerning.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Than anything else. Yo, Rome.
- 38:50Speaker 1: California is an at-will state, so while anyone can sue
- 38:53Speaker 1: anyone for anything, your employer technically doesn't need a reason
- 38:56Speaker 1: to fire you.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, that's what somebody just called about. I get it.
- 39:00Speaker 1: He's just upset about it. But, I mean, I've known
- 39:03Speaker 1: this guy for a long time. I've known his wife
- 39:05Speaker 1: for a long time. They've been doing kinky and they've
- 39:09Speaker 1: been swingers and doing kinky fetish-like stuff.
- 39:12Speaker 2: In their marriage for decades, right?
- 39:16Speaker 1: Ever since they met, they were both kind of freaky
- 39:18Speaker 1: in college with each other.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Maybe that's why they liked each other so much.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I mean, but.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Once you start putting it out there, I don't know
- 39:25Speaker 1: if what they were... I haven't seen it, what they
- 39:27Speaker 1: were doing. But uh, I don't think they were doing
- 39:30Speaker 1: actually sexual stuff. I think they were, it was pretty tame.
- 39:34Speaker 1: I believe, I don't know, but I mean, what are
- 39:37Speaker 1: you going to do, man? You want to put yourself
- 39:38Speaker 1: out there and then get mad when somebody says something
- 39:42Speaker 1: about you, you know, I mean, that's on you. So,
- 39:48Speaker 1: I mean, what do you want me to say about it?
- 39:51Speaker 1: You know, maybe if you're not prepared for the consequences
- 39:54Speaker 1: of putting yourself on the internet, maybe you shouldn't put
- 39:56Speaker 1: yourself on the internet.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Hey, good morning, Romeo.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Nah, brah.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Just have some swinger-friendly business owners call and find your
- 40:03Speaker 1: boy a job.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, he'll be fine. It's not.
- 40:08Speaker 1: He's... What he does in his life is... He'll be fine.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Don't worry about it.
- 40:14Speaker 2: But... He's upset about it.
- 40:15Speaker 1: He thinks that his personal life and his business life
- 40:18Speaker 1: are two totally separate things.
- 40:19Speaker 2: That's what he's mad about. And so he.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Thinks it's nobody's business. Well, it becomes your business once
- 40:27Speaker 1: you put it out on the Internet. And I'm just
- 40:30Speaker 1: telling you guys a story. A friend of mine got
- 40:31Speaker 1: fired from his job because he started some sort of site,
- 40:37Speaker 1: some sort of Instagram page or TikTok or Facebook or
- 40:41Speaker 1: something with him and his wife going to swingers clubs.
- 40:45Speaker 2: And that's probably kind of a.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Niche, you know, site for people to watch. But somebody
- 40:50Speaker 1: at the office found out about it and snitched on him,
- 40:53Speaker 1: told the boss. So he lost his job yesterday. And
- 40:56Speaker 1: he was telling me about it, kind of complained about it.
- 41:00Speaker 1: And a little bit of it, it's an interesting thing
- 41:03Speaker 1: to talk about because he feels that his business, he
- 41:06Speaker 1: was good at his job. And he was, I'm going
- 41:11Speaker 1: to say this, though, about that. You weren't good enough
- 41:18Speaker 1: at your job because if you were really good at
- 41:22Speaker 1: your job and the boss really liked you, he wouldn't
- 41:27Speaker 1: have fired you.
- 41:29Speaker 2: They would have overlooked it. It would have went away.
- 41:30Speaker 1: He would have said, don't do it anymore, and it
- 41:33Speaker 1: would have disappeared because everything turns over so quickly nowadays
- 41:37Speaker 1: that everybody would have forgot about it. So somebody didn't
- 41:42Speaker 1: like you, first of all, is what I think. That's
- 41:45Speaker 1: the biggest reason I think he got fired. Not because
- 41:47Speaker 1: him and his wife. Because they've been into this. I've
- 41:50Speaker 1: known them as a couple for, I think, probably 25 years.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Maybe a little longer. And they've always been into it.
- 41:57Speaker 2: We've all known. All our friend group has known they've
- 41:59Speaker 2: been into it.
- 42:00Speaker 4: And....
- 42:03Speaker 2: They just didn't say anything about it.
- 42:06Speaker 6: Or.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Go full steam ahead. Try to be, you know, swinger
- 42:09Speaker 1: content creators.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Whatever these people are.
- 42:13Speaker 4: So.
- 42:14Speaker 2: But yeah, I don't disagree with you.
- 42:16Speaker 1: There's a niche there for you to make some money,
- 42:19Speaker 1: probably on the internet. But the problem is with him
- 42:25Speaker 1: and with all these other people who want to be
- 42:27Speaker 1: internet famous and have jobs, real careers, is you don't
- 42:33Speaker 1: want to be held accountable for what you do on
- 42:34Speaker 1: the internet? I mean, there's really not a lot of
- 42:37Speaker 1: accountability for lying, for not fact-checking.
- 42:41Speaker 2: On the internet, you know? So, I mean, it's hard
- 42:47Speaker 2: for me.
- 42:47Speaker 1: To have compassion for any of these internet people because
- 42:52Speaker 1: I've been dealing with this for 30 years before the
- 42:55Speaker 1: internet existed, you know? So, I don't care what you
- 43:02Speaker 1: guys do. That's just, what do you want me to
- 43:04Speaker 1: tell you? If you're not able to hold yourself back,
- 43:09Speaker 1: and understand there's an accountability to what you put out
- 43:12Speaker 1: on the Internet, well, what do you want me to
- 43:16Speaker 1: tell you?
- 43:17Speaker 2: Rd425477, Rome, you're right.
- 43:19Speaker 1: This is the world we live in, so tell him
- 43:21Speaker 1: to play the game. Tell him, say he is a
- 43:26Speaker 1: bisexual and identified as them. The termination will be discrimination
- 43:31Speaker 1: and hate crime.
- 43:32Speaker 2: He'll get out, he'll get a fat check. Yeah, I
- 43:36Speaker 2: don't know if that's going to work out, but okay.
- 43:39Speaker 1: He's got to find a lawyer that's going to do that, right?
- 43:41Speaker 1: I want to talk about marriage and marriage registries because
- 43:45Speaker 1: I got invited to a wedding I have to go
- 43:48Speaker 1: to next weekend. And I've always told you, weddings are stupid.
- 43:54Speaker 1: I mean, they're just, they're not for, nobody cares. All
- 43:57Speaker 1: these people come to watch you get married and they
- 44:00Speaker 1: don't want to be there.
- 44:01Speaker 2: It's self-indulgent, but hey, they are what they are. We
- 44:04Speaker 2: got to go. We got to go, you know, support
- 44:08Speaker 2: our friends. or family. So I went to the registry
- 44:15Speaker 2: to see what they wanted.
- 44:17Speaker 1: And I'm going through it, I'm going through it, some
- 44:20Speaker 1: of the stuff they look like they need, but one
- 44:22Speaker 1: of the things I saw was an asparagus holder, asparagus dish.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Who in the hell needs a dish for asparagus? I'm
- 44:33Speaker 2: just curious.
- 44:34Speaker 1: And I just think it's so ridiculous that Some of
- 44:38Speaker 1: the idiotic things that you register for because you want
- 44:43Speaker 1: somebody else to buy you something for an event they
- 44:49Speaker 1: don't want to go to. You've just wasted their entire day.
- 44:52Speaker 1: And now you want me to buy you something so
- 44:57Speaker 1: ridiculous because it's my money and not yours. How do
- 45:02Speaker 1: you guys handle this registry thing when it comes to weddings? Now, obviously,
- 45:07Speaker 1: I'm not going to buy him some stupid asparagus dish, okay?
- 45:12Speaker 1: But people, the things that you register for are so
- 45:17Speaker 1: stupid and just so idiotic. One of my cousins got
- 45:20Speaker 1: married a few years ago. This was about 10 years ago.
- 45:25Speaker 2: They said, no gifts, just chip in on their honeymoon.
- 45:30Speaker 1: And I was like, no. Luckily for me, It was
- 45:35Speaker 1: one of my cousins, so my mom went. And my
- 45:39Speaker 1: mom's head of the household, she actually bought him a gift.
- 45:43Speaker 2: And she just threw all the kids' names on it.
- 45:45Speaker 1: But there was no way in heck she was going
- 45:47Speaker 1: to buy a chip in on their honeymoon.
- 45:51Speaker 2: You know?
- 45:52Speaker 1: I just think that's so stupid.
- 45:58Speaker 2: I just....
- 46:00Speaker 1: Some of the things that you guys do when you
- 46:02Speaker 1: register for gifts... It's just so absurd.
- 46:06Speaker 2: And I know why. It's because somebody else's... You would never.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Nobody in their right mind would ever go buy an
- 46:12Speaker 1: asparagus dish with their own money. But because of the
- 46:17Speaker 1: silly tradition of we got to buy you a gift
- 46:19Speaker 1: after you ruined our entire day for your wedding, you
- 46:24Speaker 1: put an asparagus dish on your registry or a bread
- 46:28Speaker 1: maker or something stupid that you're never going to use.
- 46:31Speaker 2: I mean, how many of you right now.
- 46:34Speaker 1: In your house, have something that somebody bought you for
- 46:37Speaker 1: a wedding gift that you don't use.
- 46:40Speaker 2: And you registered, you wanted it. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, what's up, Rome? Hey,
- 46:48Speaker 2: what up, Roman?
- 46:49Speaker 5: Rome, asparagus dish?
- 46:52Speaker 2: Something, yeah. You put asparagus on, it's a long dish.
- 46:55Speaker 4: You know what, Rome?
- 46:55Speaker 1: If that's what they want, if I was you, I'd
- 46:57Speaker 1: go to Ross and grab them one.
- 46:59Speaker 5: They're probably like $ 8 at Ross.
- 47:00Speaker 2: No.
- 47:02Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 47:02Speaker 5: I say, this is what you wanted.
- 47:04Speaker 4: Nope.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Nope.
- 47:05Speaker 2: I'm doing it. Hell no. That's just stupid.
- 47:08Speaker 4: I know it's dumb.
- 47:09Speaker 6: It's dumb.
- 47:10Speaker 5: It's kind of like when you go to a barbecue,
- 47:11Speaker 5: like I was at my friend's barbecue, and I told
- 47:14Speaker 5: my bro, you need a tray for the meat.
- 47:15Speaker 4: And he's like, oh, my.
- 47:16Speaker 5: Wife has to wash out a tray. I'm like, dude,
- 47:18Speaker 5: just throw it on a damn plate. Wrap it with foil.
- 47:21Speaker 5: He's like, no, it has to go on a solid tray.
- 47:23Speaker 5: I'm like, huh?
- 47:25Speaker 2: I never heard of that.
- 47:25Speaker 4: But okay.
- 47:27Speaker 5: That's weird to me.
- 47:27Speaker 4: We'll throw it on just foil if we have to.
- 47:30Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Sure.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:32Speaker 5: But that's crazy to ask for that for your wedding.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just stupid. That's just stupid.
- 47:37Speaker 5: Are they comedy or what the hell?
- 47:39Speaker 4: No.
- 47:40Speaker 2: I got to go. See you later, bro. All right. 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 47:44Speaker 1: An asparagus dish. Yeah, it's basically a longer butter dish
- 47:47Speaker 1: with a lid.
- 47:48Speaker 2: It's so stupid. I am not buying that for them.
- 47:50Speaker 2: All right. I hope nobody does. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7-8, Rome.
- 47:56Speaker 1: My wife and I got married 10 years ago in
- 47:59Speaker 1: the garage to this day, in the box, not even opened.
- 48:05Speaker 1: We have an ice cream maker. All it does is
- 48:07Speaker 1: take a room. Why my wife wanted it when we
- 48:09Speaker 1: got married, I have no idea. But yeah, I know
- 48:13Speaker 1: what you're talking about, Rome. Yeah, and I... Who's making
- 48:16Speaker 1: ice cream? That's just stupid, too. You guys, when you register,
- 48:19Speaker 1: you guys are just idiots.
- 48:20Speaker 6: Hey, Romeo, so you guys are talking about wedding gifts?
- 48:24Speaker 2: Yeah, wedding gifts.
- 48:27Speaker 3: That sounds like a cheap one.
- 48:28Speaker 5: That sounds like you got off easy.
- 48:29Speaker 6: That might not be that expensive.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I don't give a damn about the money. I'm not
- 48:33Speaker 1: going to buy somebody something they don't use. That's just stupid.
- 48:36Speaker 1: What is wrong with you guys? You guys are so,
- 48:38Speaker 1: you guys are losers.
- 48:39Speaker 2: You and Ruben are idiots. I'm sorry. You guys are
- 48:41Speaker 2: just cheap idiots. I mean, it's not the point.
- 48:46Speaker 4: I got married two years ago and everybody just gave
- 48:49Speaker 4: us money. And the crazy thing is it's been two
- 48:54Speaker 4: years and we still haven't spent it. It's sitting there
- 48:56Speaker 4: in the little thing they gave us.
- 49:00Speaker 5: I haven't had time.
- 49:01Speaker 4: I haven't been broke where I had to get into it.
- 49:05Speaker 4: So we're planning something pretty soon.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Well, of course you're not broke because you and Ruben
- 49:09Speaker 2: are the cheapest people I know.
- 49:10Speaker 4: That's how you survive. That's how the rich stay rich.
- 49:13Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 49:14Speaker 2: No, you make money and spend it. Then you make
- 49:16Speaker 2: more money. What is wrong with you guys?
- 49:17Speaker 4: That's an easy one. Roman. Get it for him.
- 49:21Speaker 2: I can't. Sometimes I can't with you guys. I just can't.
- 49:25Speaker 2: You know, you guys just want.
- 49:29Speaker 2: This is why Bakersfield.
- 49:30Speaker 1: You know, this is why I can't sometimes with these
- 49:32Speaker 1: men in Bakersfield. You guys are such pathetic losers that
- 49:35Speaker 1: it always comes down to the cheapest way I can
- 49:37Speaker 1: get away with something. That makes you pathetic, by the way.
- 49:41Speaker 1: If that is your thought process, that everything you do
- 49:46Speaker 1: is done in the cheapest possible way, and that makes
- 49:50Speaker 1: you happy, you're a loser, okay? It's not about eight
- 49:55Speaker 1: bucks or 12, whatever it costs.
- 49:56Speaker 2: It's about the stupidity of what they're asking for.
- 50:00Speaker 1: I can guarantee that every single person that's gotten married
- 50:03Speaker 1: that's listening right now has something stupid in their house
- 50:08Speaker 1: that they registered for on their wedding day thinking, oh,
- 50:11Speaker 1: this is a great idea.
- 50:12Speaker 2: We can use it. And you don't. It's still in
- 50:14Speaker 2: the box. It's still in the package. It's still in
- 50:16Speaker 2: the whatever.
- 50:17Speaker 1: And the only reason you registered for it is because
- 50:20Speaker 1: somebody else was going to buy it for you. You
- 50:23Speaker 1: would rather waste their money than your money. It's just stupid.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Weddings are just the dumbest things. All right, 842-547-07. We're
- 50:35Speaker 1: talking about these wedding registries. These people, they order some
- 50:38Speaker 1: of the dumbest things or register for some of the
- 50:40Speaker 1: dumbest things because they know it's not their money. Register
- 50:43Speaker 1: for something you would never buy, and you've done it.
- 50:47Speaker 1: You've probably done it, right? Those of you that are married.
- 50:50Speaker 1: And somebody, like I said, I got to go to
- 50:55Speaker 1: a wedding. I was looking at the registry yesterday, and
- 50:57Speaker 1: it was an asparagus dish. I don't even know what
- 51:01Speaker 1: the hell, well, I know what it is now, but
- 51:03Speaker 1: why would anybody order that? An asparagus dish is called
- 51:07Speaker 1: a plate. Put it on a plate, you know? So
- 51:10Speaker 1: I thought that was just really stupid.
- 51:12Speaker 2: And now I know. I mean, a lot of you
- 51:14Speaker 2: have done it. All right. And I've told you before,
- 51:17Speaker 2: nobody wants to go to your wedding. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7, yo, Romeo.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you right now that the registry
- 51:27Speaker 1: is way better than what my brother did. My brother's
- 51:31Speaker 1: wife wanted to have a destination wedding in Hawaii. She
- 51:36Speaker 1: thought it would be great for everybody to go. It
- 51:39Speaker 1: cost me and my wife and my two kids, it
- 51:42Speaker 1: cost us $ 8, 000 to go to his wedding. Now, I
- 51:47Speaker 1: was one of the groomsmen, so I had to go,
- 51:50Speaker 1: but that's ridiculous. So when you're talking about just buying
- 51:55Speaker 1: a dish over a destination wedding room, I got to tell.
- 51:58Speaker 2: You, that's way.
- 52:00Speaker 1: I've never gone to a destination wedding. I've gone to
- 52:03Speaker 1: a destination birthday party.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Not a wedding, though. Hey, Rome, you were talking about weddings.
- 52:08Speaker 2: How come you don't like weddings? Because nobody cares.
- 52:12Speaker 1: I don't like weddings because nobody cares about your wedding
- 52:15Speaker 1: except you. You go to some ceremony that takes 30 minutes,
- 52:20Speaker 1: and then you got a two-hour break so you can
- 52:22Speaker 1: go take pictures, and everybody's got to go wait at
- 52:25Speaker 1: some hall for the reception to start. And you bring
- 52:30Speaker 1: out some sorry-ass dinner. And we got to just, it
- 52:34Speaker 1: takes all day. You know, a ceremony takes 30 minutes.
- 52:40Speaker 1: I mean, I guess if you want to have a
- 52:41Speaker 1: party afterwards, I get it. But still, it's just an
- 52:45Speaker 1: all-day event.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Nobody wants to go to your weddings.
- 52:48Speaker 1: There's not one person who's happy for you.
- 52:50Speaker 2: Well, let me rephrase that.
- 52:52Speaker 1: People are happy for you getting married. But the ceremony
- 52:57Speaker 1: and the selfishness of a wedding... And I got to
- 53:00Speaker 1: bring a gift because you got married? I mean, the
- 53:03Speaker 1: stupidity of it is just insane.
- 53:06Speaker 2: That's why.
- 53:07Speaker 1: And nobody wants to go. Really, nobody wants to go.
- 53:12Speaker 1: I've never known one person that was excited about going.
- 53:14Speaker 2: To a wedding. Yeah.
- 53:20Speaker 1: RD425477A, Romeo, you want to talk about classless? One of
- 53:24Speaker 1: my friends got married and she's... I can't say that word.
- 53:32Speaker 1: One of my friends got married and she's a little,
- 53:34Speaker 1: you know what? When they were driving to their honeymoon,
- 53:39Speaker 1: which was over in Paso Slow. Oh, Paso Robles. Is
- 53:44Speaker 1: Paso Robles or Slow? You put two things here. When
- 53:47Speaker 1: they were driving to their honeymoon, they put on their
- 53:50Speaker 1: car window their Venmo me account and asked people to
- 53:56Speaker 1: Venmo them because of their.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Venmo them for their honeymoon. I think I saw that
- 54:07Speaker 2: the other day. Where was I?
- 54:08Speaker 1: I was driving down I-5 or 99 or something, and
- 54:11Speaker 1: I saw some people. I think it was something very
- 54:14Speaker 1: similar to that. We just got married or something. Yeah,
- 54:17Speaker 1: that is pretty classless, just begging for money on your honeymoon.
- 54:20Speaker 1: If you couldn't afford to get married, maybe you shouldn't have.
- 54:22Speaker 1: All right, we were talking about weddings and some of
- 54:24Speaker 1: the dumb things that people register for, but Somebody just
- 54:28Speaker 1: sent me a text about going to a wedding with
- 54:30Speaker 1: a dollar dance. They wanted you to Venmo, Zelle, or
- 54:33Speaker 1: Apple Pay in case you didn't have any money on you,
- 54:35Speaker 1: which is just ridiculously stupid.
- 54:38Speaker 2: All right, 842-5477.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, I went to a wedding one time for
- 54:44Speaker 1: one of my cousins, and when you got to the
- 54:47Speaker 1: hall for the reception, you had to pay $ 15 to
- 54:49Speaker 1: get in.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Are you serious?
- 54:50Speaker 6: Yes.
- 54:59Speaker 2: So there was a cover charge for the reception? Wow.
- 55:06Speaker 2: That's just embarrassing. Oh, my God, that's embarrassing.
- 55:10Speaker 1: R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Nah, bro, the smart ones know what you're trying
- 55:16Speaker 1: to do. You know the dude getting married is listening.
- 55:19Speaker 1: You're just trying to get uninvited. Oh, no, the wedding
- 55:23Speaker 1: I got to go to isn't even in state. in
- 55:26Speaker 1: the state, in their defense, they probably have a specific
- 55:30Speaker 1: pattern or drawing on it, and they're just trying to
- 55:33Speaker 1: decorate the kitchen. First of all, if I didn't want
- 55:40Speaker 1: to go to your wedding, I wouldn't go, okay? I
- 55:43Speaker 1: am not, one of the things that my friends know
- 55:47Speaker 1: that I've been my friends, anybody that's going to invite
- 55:49Speaker 1: me to their wedding that I've known long enough that
- 55:51Speaker 1: would have, would, knows me so well that if I
- 55:55Speaker 1: just tell them I'm not going, they understand.
- 55:58Speaker 2: So, no, that's not– I'm not like you guys.
- 56:04Speaker 1: I don't show up somewhere because I'm supposed to or
- 56:09Speaker 1: I feel obligated.
- 56:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't do that. Romeo in the morning.
- 56:14Speaker 3: Every morning.
- 56:14Speaker 6: 94.1.
