- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: I want to pull that up real quick here.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: Sanking Corinthians, and that's chapter four.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see here.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: For God, this is appropriate verse for God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, have shine in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: In the verse seven, I love this verse, but we have this treasure in earth and vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: and not of us, and then it just keeps getting better.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: We are troubled, troubled on every side, yet not distressed.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: We are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: Amen.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: And verse sixteen, skipping down here for which cause we faint not, but though our outward man perished yet the inward man is renewed day by day for our light of reflection.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: which is but for a moment, worketh for us of far more exceeding an eternal way to glory, while we look at the things which we're seen, but while we look not at the things which we're seen, but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what this week of thankfulness is all about, Michelin, thank you for sharing that with us.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: Bart from Bedford, Texas, says this.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm thankful for the godly men who shared it to me and walked with me as I learned the emotional spiritual principle.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: This is good here.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: He says that is
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: I can only be as spiritually mature as I am emotionally mature.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: Those two are not possible in isolation from one another.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus said as much in his summation of law in two commands.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that's a great thought.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to have to give that a little bit of study.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: Bart, I like that.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: Andrea from Pennsylvania says this.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm thankful for the Lord.

- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: Nancy.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: She says this.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: I'm thankful that our country still allows us to share the gospel without fear.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm also thankful for the opportunity I had to work at BTI.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: It was such a blessing to hear from people all over the world who had a desire to share the gospel and those who received Christ.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: Miss Nancy, thank you so very much and let me say this, I would love to see you and our open house on October
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: There's some folks there from the ancient past, you know, all of five, six years ago, Brother Mark Smith.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, you were such a help.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: And you did such a wonderful job training this, the staff that we have now.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to see you there.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: Ms.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: Nancy, thank you so very much for your long time investment in BTI.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: And that's a great segue from me to talk about.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: And the open house.

- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'd love to see each and every one of you.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_00]: If you're listening right now, I want to see you at our open house.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: Pastor Brother Mark Smith, the former director of BTI.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: He was the director from, let's see, about two thousand five to two thousand nineteen about fifteen years.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: And he did a marvelous job.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: And so many deer people, his wife Nancy, not Nancy Howard, but his wife Nancy Smith.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: And Miss Nancy Howard, Miss Nancy Howard and Miss Nancy Smith.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: They really were the brains of the operation.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: They were the ones that really actually kept things rolling.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think Mark Smith probably took all the credit.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: You can tell them I said that.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: Now I'm just joking.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate the team that God had here that allowed the current staff that's here, myself and the four or five other folks that do such a wonderful job.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's truly, I'm not the brains beyond the operation.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not the guy that keeps the wheels moving.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's these other folks that do such a wonderful job often in the background.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to come meet them.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: Meet their families, meet their children.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: You will have a wonderful time.
