- 0:13Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some Balls's go to Bob and New Rochelle. Bob,
- 0:17Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 0:19Speaker 3: I think I'm putting into a crust of your.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Old men O. Sorry to hear that.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I gotta take the Cruss Bronx every morning from
- 0:26Speaker 3: New Rochelle, and it's an absolute nightmare.
- 0:28Speaker 4: I'm sure you know.
- 0:28Speaker 1: So people are the country who don't know what the.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Cross Bunk is.
- 0:30Speaker 1: It's stretched ninety five. Where you're going, where you're going
- 0:33Speaker 1: when you take the Cross Bronx.
- 0:35Speaker 3: I gotta drive my wife to work. She fabricates metal
- 0:38Speaker 3: doors in the Bronx.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Why do you have to take the Cross Bronx. You
- 0:41Speaker 1: just go straight down greet donware.
- 0:44Speaker 3: She's right off the Cross Bronx. I follow Waves and
- 0:46Speaker 3: it sends me that way all the time. Yeah.
- 0:48Speaker 1: No, don't trust that Waves. I don't trust that Waves
- 0:50Speaker 1: at all. You know that Waves is a little corrupt.
- 0:52Speaker 1: They can get paid off by sponsors advertisers to have
- 0:56Speaker 1: you drive by their business or their billboard. Don't trust
- 0:58Speaker 1: that one.
- 0:59Speaker 4: They're sending me down ninety five every day, so I
- 1:01Speaker 4: don't know who's getting paid off there.
- 1:02Speaker 3: But anyway, what I'm calling for that is is how
- 1:05Speaker 3: they let people in the lanes, Hanhandling, I don't sound heartless,
- 1:08Speaker 3: you know, if you're downing your luck, down your luck,
- 1:10Speaker 3: they shouldn't be.
- 1:11Speaker 4: In a highway in the middle.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Of the lane. Yeah, well, actually they should make that
- 1:15Speaker 1: an Olympic sport. He's talking about. On the Cross Bronx,
- 1:17Speaker 1: which is a major highway, there are these illegals standing
- 1:20Speaker 1: right in the middle of the highway, right in between
- 1:22Speaker 1: the second and third lane, selling candy bars. And you're right,
- 1:26Speaker 1: so much taking for money. Yeah, but there's so much
- 1:28Speaker 1: traffic on the Cross Bronx. How did they get in there?
- 1:31Speaker 1: To get into that middle lane there? It's an amazing
- 1:34Speaker 1: thing slow.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Everybody's moving at two or three miles an hour.
- 1:37Speaker 1: They just probably walking between the cars. It's still an
- 1:39Speaker 1: amazing feat to watch. You're right, it's totally out of
- 1:41Speaker 1: control there that Crossbronx. A good point. Thanks for calling.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Let's go to Dave in Chicago.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Dave, how you doing, good morning, Mark. I'm doing very well.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Thank you, Mark. I got home very late last night,
- 1:53Speaker 3: about one o'clock in the morning, and I turned on
- 1:56Speaker 3: Larry Cudlow and I saw you and Joe Concha what
- 2:00Speaker 3: I'm a little unclear about. I thought the discussion. I
- 2:04Speaker 3: thought the discussion was about Governor Kathy Hockel. Is he
- 2:08Speaker 3: dropping in the polls due to her endorsing Mondannie to
- 2:12Speaker 3: at least what's your name?
- 2:14Speaker 1: Stefanic? Yes, she took a drop over her mom Donnie.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Endorsement and this continues. Does it look like Kathy Hockel
- 2:23Speaker 3: will absolutely lose because it took her a long time
- 2:27Speaker 3: to endorse Mondanna.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Yes, it looks like Kathy Hockel's in big, big trouble.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Thanks Dave, Because, as I pointed out on the Larry
- 2:34Speaker 1: Cuddler yesterday, if she's five points ahead in those public
- 2:40Speaker 1: polls that are all rigged, it means she's really ten
- 2:42Speaker 1: points behind. They rig those poles by about eight to
- 2:44Speaker 1: ten points. So if she's only five points ahead, she's
- 2:47Speaker 1: probably really actually behind. Let's go to Jerry in New Jersey. Jerry,
- 2:51Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 2:53Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark? How are you?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Let me check good? Good?
- 2:57Speaker 4: I think you're good. I don't know if it's a
- 3:00Speaker 4: scare tactic or not at the air traffic controllers. However,
- 3:05Speaker 4: Trump should pull a Reagan if you don't show up, fired,
- 3:09Speaker 4: bringing the military air traffic controllers, and that would end
- 3:12Speaker 4: that right there.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Well, that was a little different situation. That strike was
- 3:16Speaker 1: about money and they went on they went on strike.
- 3:20Speaker 1: They all walked out at once, So that was the
- 3:22Speaker 1: reason for that. But this is not as scary. There's
- 3:24Speaker 1: a couple of airports operating now without controllers. But what
- 3:28Speaker 1: they don't want you to know if that has happened
- 3:30Speaker 1: in the past, and what it means is you simply
- 3:32Speaker 1: controlled from another tower at another nearby air Right, it's
- 3:35Speaker 1: not good, but it's not as scary as they make
- 3:38Speaker 1: it out to be. And the other reason Reagan wanted
- 3:42Speaker 1: to do that he had just taken office, he had
- 3:44Speaker 1: just become president, and the air traffic controllers thought they
- 3:47Speaker 1: could show him and they all walked out, paralyzing the
- 3:51Speaker 1: whole nation. Well, he fired them all, brought in the military.
- 3:54Speaker 1: It was an incredibly, unbelievably bold move on the part
- 3:57Speaker 1: of the president. The real reason he did that as
- 4:00Speaker 1: he wanted to show the Soviet Union at the time
- 4:05Speaker 1: how tough he could be in China, and they took
- 4:07Speaker 1: that as a warning that this guy doesn't bluff and
- 4:10Speaker 1: you can't call his bluff and this guy is fearless,
- 4:14Speaker 1: so that that's the other reason he did that. Let's
- 4:16Speaker 1: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Mark.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I'm okay. Mark. The only one who could pull Kathy
- 4:23Speaker 2: Hokal's chestnuts side of the fire is Curtis Sleeverer, because
- 4:27Speaker 2: if Mondami gets elected by next summer, she's going to
- 4:31Speaker 2: be posting the polls. Mark. You're one hundred percent right
- 4:34Speaker 2: about Rkers Island being the only island that had as
- 4:38Speaker 2: a bridge and it's easy to get to. I had
- 4:41Speaker 2: to go bail somebody out there years ago, and me
- 4:45Speaker 2: and this guy I con mentioned his name, Me and
- 4:47Speaker 2: Jimmy Motts. We got in his sports car and we
- 4:51Speaker 2: went to the parking lot. And if you're going to
- 4:55Speaker 2: go on the bus, it's the free buses. The Department
- 4:58Speaker 2: of Corrections. They pat you out before you go on
- 5:01Speaker 2: the bus to make sure you're not bringing contraband I
- 5:04Speaker 2: waited in the car on the sun deck and I
- 5:06Speaker 2: got a sun there and it was in the summer
- 5:09Speaker 2: and you could build the Blasio and Mario Cuomo because
- 5:14Speaker 2: the book, look, correctional facility not far about a mile
- 5:18Speaker 2: away from my house. They closed that and they're building
- 5:23Speaker 2: co ops over there and build the Blazzo. At the
- 5:26Speaker 2: time said oh, he was also one of these I'm
- 5:28Speaker 2: going to close like his island. And every all the
- 5:33Speaker 2: community groups in every borough were up in arms because
- 5:37Speaker 2: he said he was gonna build like you said, five
- 5:41Speaker 2: five prisons.
- 5:43Speaker 1: And it was that was behind it.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Exactly stop it.
- 5:47Speaker 1: He's going to stop his own idea.
- 5:49Speaker 2: And there's a co op there now they're they're building
- 5:52Speaker 2: a high rise call up where the prison is. That's
- 5:56Speaker 2: why they really wanted it.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yeah, well, great call, Vincent, excellent point. Oh when we
- 6:01Speaker 1: come back, Steve Moore will be with us, the great economist.
- 6:05Speaker 1: We've got lots to talk to him about. Coming up
- 6:07Speaker 1: next on seven to ten wor
