- 0:08Speaker 1: an instance. Now back to the Mark Simon Show on WR.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some polls. Let's go to Carl, Yorktown Heights. Carl,
- 0:18Speaker 2: how you doing all right?
- 0:20Speaker 3: Good speak you Mark Mark over in New Yorktown. Our
- 0:24Speaker 3: prices our gifts stayed between three twenty nine and three
- 0:28Speaker 3: thirty three for us the last six months. I don't
- 0:31Speaker 3: understand what we're not coming down yet?
- 0:33Speaker 2: Oh, because New York State is every time the price
- 0:35Speaker 2: of gas comes down, new York State increases the tax
- 0:38Speaker 2: to keep it where it is. So gas is two
- 0:41Speaker 2: fifty everywhere, but in California and New York they keep
- 0:43Speaker 2: raising the tax, the local tax, to keep it up there.
- 0:47Speaker 2: So the price you pay for living in New York. Hey,
- 0:51Speaker 2: you got a lot of snow up there, Carl.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, we had about between fifteen and eighteen fifteen,
- 0:58Speaker 3: and still the sidewalks.
- 1:02Speaker 2: All right, Carl, Thanks for calling Yorktown. It's a very
- 1:04Speaker 2: nice place. Let's go to Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich
- 1:07Speaker 2: How you doing, hey, Thanks, Maul.
- 1:10Speaker 4: We're getting two to four inches of snow here tomorrow
- 1:12Speaker 4: afternoon and tomorrow night, and it'll stick around for a
- 1:14Speaker 4: couple of days. They're going to be in the team
- 1:16Speaker 4: for the next few days.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Wait a minute, Myrtle Beach. Where's that South Carolina? Yes,
- 1:20Speaker 2: South Carolina, northin until you go down there to get
- 1:23Speaker 2: away from this weather.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Yeah, in Inland where your buddy Joe Bartler lives. He's
- 1:28Speaker 4: going to be getting five to eight inches in there
- 1:30Speaker 4: by that part of South Carolina. Whoa, Yeah, you know,
- 1:35Speaker 4: Chuck Schumer continues to just show what a complete idiot
- 1:38Speaker 4: and the putts he really is. It's just disgraceful what
- 1:41Speaker 4: this guy is still in office. But I don't know
- 1:43Speaker 4: if you saw this. I saw a posted somewhere that
- 1:46Speaker 4: some film companies looking for as many cops and firem
- 1:49Speaker 4: and as they can find because they're doing a giant
- 1:52Speaker 4: documentary on the after nine to eleven illnesses and cancers
- 1:56Speaker 4: that came about. I don't know if you saw anything,
- 1:58Speaker 4: knew anything about that? No, but no acting experience needed.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Well, obviously they want to people, you know, sounds like
- 2:05Speaker 2: a documentary kind of thing. But interesting. Yeah, you're right
- 2:07Speaker 2: about Schumer because uh, he's really the poster boy for
- 2:12Speaker 2: term limits. He is just an old dinosaur, this old fossil,
- 2:16Speaker 2: this useless bureaucrat who gets nothing done except for donors.
- 2:21Speaker 2: And you wonder, how the hell did that guy stay there?
- 2:23Speaker 2: How does he get reelected donor service? That's what he's
- 2:25Speaker 2: known for. They all got his cell phone and is
- 2:29Speaker 2: even the Republican donors. They'll as they'll tell you, I
- 2:32Speaker 2: can wake that guy up at two in the morning.
- 2:33Speaker 2: He'll do whatever I need. That's Chuck Schumer. That's that's
- 2:37Speaker 2: been his main business for all these years. Let's go
- 2:39Speaker 2: to Bob Montvale, New Jersey. Bob, how you doing good? Mark?
- 2:43Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 2:44Speaker 5: Hey, I'm surprised that there's not more hope law about
- 2:47Speaker 5: the MTA making history about like the one point five
- 2:51Speaker 5: billion in all the time. It's interesting. There's a Dulge
- 2:56Speaker 5: project at Mundani and Cochel could take to find out
- 2:59Speaker 5: what jeez so much over time? What's going on over
- 3:03Speaker 5: there all the money taking agency? As Curtis would say.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's though, it's total waste, fraud, bloat. New
- 3:11Speaker 2: York State budget, New York City budget. You know, Florida
- 3:14Speaker 2: is a bigger place than New York. It has a
- 3:17Speaker 2: bigger population than New York State, It has more big
- 3:19Speaker 2: cities than New York State. Their budget is half the
- 3:23Speaker 2: budget in New York State. Half. We could cut our
- 3:27Speaker 2: budget in half. You know what that means. It means
- 3:28Speaker 2: your taxes get cut in half. New York City, we
- 3:31Speaker 2: could cut this budget in half. That means your taxes
- 3:34Speaker 2: get cut in half. You're overpaying like crazy for all
- 3:37Speaker 2: that waste and fraud and bloat. Let's go to Richard
- 3:40Speaker 2: in New Jersey. Richard, how you doing?
- 3:42Speaker 4: How do you doing? Mark? Thank You've been taking the
- 3:44Speaker 4: call with respect to Minneapolis. Something that doesn't make sense.
- 3:48Speaker 4: It's cold as there than here. Why are they getting
- 3:50Speaker 4: into confrontation spraying with firehosts.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Well, first of all, the cold has helped. There was
- 3:57Speaker 2: supposed to be a vicious, violent weekend test. The cold
- 4:00Speaker 2: weather put an end to that last weekend. And they
- 4:02Speaker 2: do spray them, but they spray them with that it's
- 4:06Speaker 2: not I know what it is, mace or some chemical
- 4:09Speaker 2: and they spray them in the face.
- 4:11Speaker 4: On them and they get the hell out of dodge quick.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yeah. Well yeah, but it's there's a lot of videos
- 4:16Speaker 2: online you can see of them getting sprayed and it's
- 4:18Speaker 2: not with a little you know thing you hold in
- 4:19Speaker 2: your hand, little pepper spray thing. It's like a big
- 4:22Speaker 2: fire hose of spray. It's great to watch those videos
- 4:26Speaker 2: because it comes out all red and green and blue,
- 4:28Speaker 2: like a rainbow of powder, just going hitting them right
- 4:32Speaker 2: in the face. It's like a cannon. They use it.
- 4:35Speaker 2: That stuff great stuff. So hey, don't forget. If you're
- 4:38Speaker 2: a podcast listener, you get a bonus segment every weekend.
- 4:43Speaker 2: There's an exit. It's like having an extra show on
- 4:45Speaker 2: the If you're a podcast listening, you get a bonus
- 4:48Speaker 2: segment every weekend. And if you want to hear the
- 4:51Speaker 2: show anytime, day or night, just get the podcast any
- 4:54Speaker 2: place you get podcasts. Let's go to let's go to
- 4:57Speaker 2: line too. How you doing?

- 5:55Speaker 2: that doesn't happen again. Thanks for calling. Yeah, that's the
- 5:58Speaker 2: MTA for you. They've had not just the MTA, but
