- 3:06Speaker 4: I guess what I'm doing after the show today? What
- 3:09Speaker 4: FedExing some cars? I bought them. I bought them on Wednesday.
- 3:15Speaker 4: I bought them on Wednesday, and then uh, Wednesday night,
- 3:18Speaker 4: I meant to have my kids fill them out so
- 3:20Speaker 4: I can get them off to my mom, and stuff
- 3:22Speaker 4: forgot forgot. So it was it was last night. They're
- 3:26Speaker 4: filling everything out and then today I will FedEx them.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Do your parents ow it's more than the gifts?
- 3:31Speaker 8: Do?
- 3:31Speaker 9: They always get a little card in one of those
- 3:33Speaker 9: big FedEx envelopes. Is that like usually what happens.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Well, so there's a card for me, there's a card
- 3:38Speaker 4: from each one of the kids. So that's three that
- 3:40Speaker 4: goes to my mom. It's got like a gift card
- 3:41Speaker 4: in there and stuff like that, and then we'll send
- 3:43Speaker 4: you know, flowers or something like that. But it's yeah,
- 3:46Speaker 4: just regular FedEx envelope. It's not a big envelope, just
- 3:48Speaker 4: like a yeah, regular FedEx. The same thing will happen
- 3:51Speaker 4: again next year, that's right. But also I had to
- 3:53Speaker 4: send one out to my to my step mother cards
- 3:57Speaker 4: and whatever. It was one for the kids. Yeah, So
- 4:00Speaker 4: that's today Okay, there's my Friday check in. That's what
- 4:04Speaker 4: I'm doing.
- 4:05Speaker 10: I'm all about Amazon gifts. So you already have their
- 4:08Speaker 10: address in there anything and they just selects something and
- 4:11Speaker 10: just sends it to them.
- 4:13Speaker 4: So that's that's fine. It's the card part because my
- 4:16Speaker 4: mom my mom loves cards more than anything, especially when
- 4:20Speaker 4: you write the note.
- 4:21Speaker 5: In there, you know, I know.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, Mother's Day is this weekend. I was reading
- 4:26Speaker 4: this thing. It says it's time to nail down the
- 4:27Speaker 4: gifts that you'll give to thank the moms in your
- 4:30Speaker 4: life for doing what mostly is the most thankless job
- 4:34Speaker 4: of all. Blah blah blah blah blah. People keep coming
- 4:37Speaker 4: back to brunches, flowers, and bathrobes a year after year.
- 4:41Speaker 4: But they did ask moms what's the number one thing
- 4:44Speaker 4: that they want from their partner or from their kids
- 4:48Speaker 4: for Mother's Day? And that is free time, to time
- 4:52Speaker 4: alone or something like that. Yeah, some others may not
- 4:55Speaker 4: even remember what that is since it's been so long,
- 4:57Speaker 4: so they've had some but yeah, like close to sixty
- 5:00Speaker 4: percent of mom say they just want to be able
- 5:02Speaker 4: to drop everything and do nothing at all.
- 5:04Speaker 11: Yeah sounds good.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Yeah, but then who's going to have a dinner ready.
- 5:07Speaker 12: Yeah yeah, wow, yeah yeah.
- 5:10Speaker 4: I mean who's going to make sure the kids have
- 5:12Speaker 4: their homework done and are ready for their bags? Then
- 5:17Speaker 4: how are they supposed to get to soccer practice? Another
- 5:22Speaker 4: four to two percent would just love some time to themselves,
- 5:25Speaker 4: not looking to be treated like a queen as much.
- 5:26Speaker 4: You know, just like to read or watch a movie
- 5:28Speaker 4: or to you know, work on something.
- 5:30Speaker 9: It would be nice.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Yeah, but I mean, you know, because a lot of
- 5:33Speaker 4: people are working too. You got two working parents, It's
- 5:35Speaker 4: not like they're just sitting around all day the kids
- 5:37Speaker 4: are at school, because that's that's the one thing. Okay,
- 5:39Speaker 4: when you have to stay at home mom and the
- 5:42Speaker 4: kids are off at school all day, that is your
- 5:44Speaker 4: free time.
- 5:45Speaker 9: Lucky. I don't have that, I know, nce and quiet.
- 5:48Speaker 4: I don't have that time. I guess as the dad
- 5:50Speaker 4: who works, I don't have this big chunk of my
- 5:52Speaker 4: day where there's absolutely whatever I want to do or
- 5:56Speaker 4: need to do. There's there's nothing that's.
- 5:58Speaker 13: Still stuff to get done. You need to do the
- 5:59Speaker 13: long you need to grocery shopping. Where do you think
- 6:01Speaker 13: she's getting the food to cook your dinner?
- 6:03Speaker 4: Yes, I'm the one that does the grocery shopping by
- 6:05Speaker 4: the way.
- 6:06Speaker 9: Following you around, asking you a million questions.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Yeah, like if you need an hour to read, you
- 6:11Speaker 4: could sit and read for an hour. The kids are
- 6:13Speaker 4: at school all day long, right, grocery shopping takes twenty minutes. Yeah,
- 6:18Speaker 4: if you're a working mom, okay, and then you're doing
- 6:21Speaker 4: a lot of the mom stuff. Okay, fine, I get it.
- 6:24Speaker 4: You want that free time. But if you if you
- 6:26Speaker 4: are the person who drops the kids off and then
- 6:28Speaker 4: you got the day until three point thirty, Like, dude,
- 6:32Speaker 4: that is that's your free that's your free time.
- 6:34Speaker 10: It sounds like you're throwing out all these problems but
- 6:37Speaker 10: no care to solve them.
- 6:38Speaker 13: And there's not problems, there's just things to do.
- 6:40Speaker 10: Yeah, but you know, yeah, don't solve the problem.
- 6:43Speaker 4: This basically be surprising if you've never taken care of
- 6:45Speaker 4: small children children, or if it's been so long you've
- 6:47Speaker 4: forgotten what it's like. But tother's and preschoolers come to
- 6:50Speaker 4: the bathroom when you go. Yep, that is true. That's
- 6:52Speaker 4: the thing. When the kids are at home.
- 6:54Speaker 5: That tiring.
- 6:55Speaker 4: That's different. Oh, tiring, that is different. Even if you're
- 6:58Speaker 4: going alone, they stand outside the door Yeah. We used
- 7:00Speaker 4: to joke about like the little hand coming under the door,
- 7:03Speaker 4: lock it. Are you in there? But yeah, sorry, Look,
- 7:06Speaker 4: by the way, that is a great gift. If it's
- 7:10Speaker 4: free time and whatever that you want and you get
- 7:12Speaker 4: some malone time, great, But then don't complain there's no
- 7:15Speaker 4: flowers and there's no going out to dinner.
- 7:17Speaker 9: Well, here's your flowers.
- 7:19Speaker 11: We're leaving.
- 7:20Speaker 5: No, but you know what I mean, what if it
- 7:22Speaker 5: was something tangible? Gino, like you don't you don't want
- 7:24Speaker 5: another coffee, muggy, do you want flowers?
- 7:27Speaker 9: It would be so great if they left for the day, that's.
- 7:29Speaker 4: What you want?
- 7:30Speaker 5: What if it was something tangible though?
- 7:32Speaker 11: Like what that's the question?
- 7:34Speaker 5: That's I'm good. I see.
- 7:37Speaker 4: This is why I keep arguing, let's get rid of
- 7:38Speaker 4: all the all the obligation things Birthdays, Christmas, so Mother's Day,
- 7:44Speaker 4: Father's Day. That includes all the stuff for me too.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I'm not saying that. I'm not saying that. I but
- 7:49Speaker 4: I don't do it for anybody else. Yeah, I'm saying
- 7:51Speaker 4: let's just go Okay, we're adults, right, we don't have
- 7:53Speaker 4: to do this anymore.
- 7:55Speaker 9: Advantage.
- 7:55Speaker 4: I can send you a text or give you a
- 7:57Speaker 4: phone call and go Happy Birthday, Greg, Yeah, that's it.
- 8:00Speaker 4: The mother's day.
- 8:02Speaker 10: He wants to cancel Christmas.
- 8:04Speaker 4: No, no, I want to have the like. The gathering
- 8:07Speaker 4: is fine, it's just the whole. It's it's the gifts.
- 8:09Speaker 10: And the like.
- 8:10Speaker 9: My dad always used to say, he used to call
- 8:12Speaker 9: holidays supposed to days. I don't do suppose two days.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Right, because like you're you're just going and trying to
- 8:17Speaker 4: figure something out to buy because you're supposed to buy something.
- 8:21Speaker 4: That's it. I agreed.
- 8:22Speaker 5: I would like to abolish all those days.
- 8:25Speaker 4: And that that's it. I would not want the stay
- 8:29Speaker 4: at home mom job either. I wouldn't want it.
- 8:31Speaker 5: That's why Thanksgiving rules, because you have the gathering, the food,
- 8:35Speaker 5: and that's the drinking and no present.
- 8:38Speaker 4: Right, exactly, the best day of the year eight seven
- 8:41Speaker 4: seven forty four woody Friday check ins over to two
- 8:44Speaker 4: two nine eight seven. All right, we'll get to the
- 8:50Speaker 4: birthday's yere in a second. There's a there's been so
- 8:54Speaker 4: much lawsuit stuff. Oh yeah, this actress has filed a
- 8:57Speaker 4: lawsuit against James Cameron and Disney. I mean that they
- 9:00Speaker 4: used her facial features as the inspiration for the main
- 9:03Speaker 4: character in Avatar. Yeah, and they did that without her permission.
- 9:11Speaker 4: Oh damn. Yeah. She was fourteen when she starred as
- 9:15Speaker 4: Pocahontas in the New World, and she said that James
- 9:18Speaker 4: Cameron saw a photo of her from the movie and
- 9:21Speaker 4: used her face as the basis for the CGI character
- 9:24Speaker 4: played by Zoe with her name is Saldana. Yeah, right,
- 9:27Speaker 4: so the laws who claims that she was never contacted, credited,
- 9:31Speaker 4: or compensated, despite James Cameron allegedly later admitting publicly that
- 9:35Speaker 4: her face inspired the design, and she says it feels
- 9:38Speaker 4: especially hypocritical because the Avatar franchise presents itself as supportive
- 9:43Speaker 4: of indigenous cultures while allegedly exploiting an indigenous teenager behind
- 9:48Speaker 4: the scenes.
- 9:48Speaker 9: I mean that is what the movie's about.
- 9:50Speaker 10: Yeah, very much.
- 9:51Speaker 4: And if he said that, yeah, I mean, all these
- 9:55Speaker 4: other actors and actresses talking about the AI stuff with
- 9:59Speaker 4: Morgan even protecting his voice.
- 10:01Speaker 10: Oh yeah, all right, yeah, I'm looking at the photo
- 10:04Speaker 10: right now. Pretty close.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Yep.
- 10:06Speaker 5: I don't think it's that close. He's just kind of
- 10:08Speaker 5: making the same expression.
- 10:10Speaker 9: But it's not even up to us to figure it out.
- 10:11Speaker 9: If he said so, then that's it looks.
- 10:14Speaker 14: Like her lips and everything. It looks like an avatar
- 10:17Speaker 14: version of her.
- 10:18Speaker 5: I guess so, but just again kind of just making
- 10:20Speaker 5: the same You could kind of make that same expression
- 10:22Speaker 5: and be like, oh.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Look it's me, I'm an avatar.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Oh. Greg, by the way, you know he's doing chick
- 10:27Speaker 4: on chick stuff now, is a Hayden pantier?
- 10:29Speaker 5: I heard she came out as by right.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Wow.
- 10:33Speaker 5: She said she had girlfriends in the past but kept
- 10:35Speaker 5: a secret. Damn, which makes it but what hotter? I
- 10:40Speaker 5: did have an invatory moment the other day.
- 10:41Speaker 4: I was laughing. I heard in a commercial a grocery
- 10:44Speaker 4: store is advertising by colored corn. There's by corn.
- 10:47Speaker 11: Everything's so hip?
- 10:51Speaker 4: Yeah right, yeah, pretty cool. Oh Disney, Uh, there are
- 10:55Speaker 4: some rumors about Disney is considering switching back to legacy
- 10:59Speaker 4: characters for their film.
- 11:01Speaker 15: I think quite understand what that meant. Do that mean
- 11:03Speaker 15: that like they're just gonna read because already brought us
- 11:05Speaker 15: they did a Han solo movie. Are they going to
- 11:07Speaker 15: reinvent those characters of the actors.
- 11:09Speaker 9: Talk about Bambi yeah, and Star Wars Yeah yeah, it's
- 11:12Speaker 9: all the Star Wars stuff.
- 11:14Speaker 4: But like, yeah, like they want the Han solo Luke
- 11:17Speaker 4: sky Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader kind of stuff.
- 11:20Speaker 15: They kept chewback I see three P three and R
- 11:22Speaker 15: two D two obviously because these are easy ones.
- 11:24Speaker 14: Yeah right, they're basically talking about getting up putting. Uh,
- 11:29Speaker 14: the new trilogy people not really in anything.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I can't see more through the the glass over there,
- 11:35Speaker 4: so I can't get his opinion on it, because he
- 11:37Speaker 4: would be the the go to star Wars.
- 11:38Speaker 15: We crept on like the Chicks Star The Chicks, Luke Skywalker,
- 11:42Speaker 15: the Ray character Ray because they said like, well, yeah,
- 11:46Speaker 15: well you guys did, but the Triinn was kind of
- 11:48Speaker 15: the yeah and Finny. They crept on her because she
- 11:53Speaker 15: didn't really have to go thrillthy trials and triplations of Luke. Yeah.
- 11:56Speaker 10: They were just like, oh, she's suddenly magic. Yeah she
- 11:59Speaker 10: didn't kiss her brother?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Right, Well, did she.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Didn' understand why she had these powers?
- 12:03Speaker 13: Yeah, it's because of her ancestors they were passing.
- 12:05Speaker 15: But but but Luke Skywalker had to go through trials
- 12:07Speaker 15: and try learning and teaching through Yoda.
- 12:10Speaker 10: And she was just like like some little old man.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Yeah, Greg, what's your take on the whole thing as
- 12:14Speaker 4: a person.
- 12:16Speaker 13: Yeah, but she still had to go through learning.
- 12:18Speaker 14: She had the power, she didn't know how to use them,
- 12:20Speaker 14: and that's why Luke had to teach her.
- 12:21Speaker 1: She went to the island and what happened there?
- 12:23Speaker 13: What do you mean what happened there?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Because she like Moose rocks around real tough.
- 12:26Speaker 5: She got the power from Prase.
- 12:29Speaker 13: She went directly into the darkness and then Luke was like, I.
- 12:32Speaker 10: Can't teach you.
- 12:33Speaker 15: You used the They went easy on her because she
- 12:35Speaker 15: l that's there. That's the complaint exactly off from the
- 12:38Speaker 15: lady ts you make a good.
- 12:40Speaker 13: Woman and she was a great pilot already wanted.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Greg Glory, what you got?
- 12:44Speaker 5: So many lawsuits that we've been talking about, and there's
- 12:47Speaker 5: another one against Renee Zellweger and aunt Anstead who used
- 12:51Speaker 5: to be married to Christina Hack from HGTV. By the way,
- 12:54Speaker 5: fun fact, they're being sued for ten million bucks because
- 12:57Speaker 5: the chick Tracy Bellan, she was at a house that
- 13:01Speaker 5: aunt Anstead was renting. He didn't own it, he was
- 13:04Speaker 5: renting it, and she tripped over this rug and hurt
- 13:08Speaker 5: her ankle so much so that she says she's going
- 13:11Speaker 5: to have lifelong implications from this injury. So she wants
- 13:14Speaker 5: ten million bucks.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Yeah, oh, is this a rug filled with spikes? Is
- 13:17Speaker 4: this like a there was a small So renees Elwigger
- 13:21Speaker 4: owns this place. She does not know this dude, Glenn
- 13:24Speaker 4: Wilson owns the house. Aunt was renting it and Renee
- 13:28Speaker 4: wasn't even there at the time. So she's suing all
- 13:30Speaker 4: three and wants ten million bucks. So now this Glen guy,
- 13:34Speaker 4: he who owns the house, is not counter seuing, but
- 13:37Speaker 4: he wants to be clear in court that he doesn't
- 13:40Speaker 4: owe her a penny. So why is she being sued? Though?
- 13:43Speaker 5: Renee zelway because she got money because she's with Aunt
- 13:45Speaker 5: and she lives nearby in Laguna. But that's why she's like,
- 13:48Speaker 5: get me out of this lawsuit.
- 13:49Speaker 9: Yea, you could see anyone for anything.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Not my house wasn't there, lived nearby. That's my only
- 13:54Speaker 5: connection to aunt Anstead. It was a gathering of friends
- 13:56Speaker 5: that at Ant's house.
- 13:58Speaker 4: I just don't know how you can how do you
- 14:00Speaker 4: and tie her in right at all?
- 14:01Speaker 5: And now ten million bucks is what she wants?
- 14:04Speaker 9: Was was she like an Olympic runner, like why is
- 14:07Speaker 9: her ankle ten millions?
- 14:10Speaker 15: Well, see the thing is and you'll say, well the
- 14:11Speaker 15: judge would see this, throw it out and penalizer. But
- 14:14Speaker 15: a lot of times they just they'll dismiss it, and
- 14:16Speaker 15: they'll dismiss it with prejudice, but they won't then come
- 14:18Speaker 15: after you for being frivolous.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:20Speaker 5: And then I also think when you are suing somebody
- 14:22Speaker 5: after a car crash or whatever, your lawyers will go
- 14:25Speaker 5: after any whatever three million bucks, knowing damn well you'll
- 14:29Speaker 5: probably get like twenty grand.
- 14:30Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Yeah, so it's probably why the stars star go for it.
- 14:34Speaker 10: But yeah, we always think we'd never think about how
- 14:38Speaker 10: weird it is. Like you're gathering for a dinner party,
- 14:41Speaker 10: you obviously probably know this person, and then now they're
- 14:44Speaker 10: like suing you. That is so odd to me.
- 14:47Speaker 11: Well, people have a friend of mine, people.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Have an outlook on things. They go, well, no, it's
- 14:51Speaker 4: not about you. Your insurance company will take care of it. Yeah,
- 14:55Speaker 4: So they look at it as like they're just gonna
- 14:56Speaker 4: get this easy money out of the insurance. If you
- 14:58Speaker 4: don't have pri it's not Yeah, it's not gonna affect you.
- 15:01Speaker 4: They're not going to drop you right from your coverage.
- 15:04Speaker 5: Just happened to me in my backyard, a drunken accident
- 15:07Speaker 5: during a party, and then about three months later, Hey,
- 15:11Speaker 5: just curious, who's your homeowners?
- 15:12Speaker 4: And yeah, well well, I mean you would have to
- 15:18Speaker 4: tell them, You tell them, well, because they'll figure they'll
- 15:20Speaker 4: figure it out anyway.
- 15:21Speaker 9: Let them figure it out.
- 15:23Speaker 10: Yeah, you figure it out, then they'll go af to
- 15:25Speaker 10: you personally.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Oh menace. Did you hear who's a quitter? Speaking of
- 15:29Speaker 4: lawyers in lawsuits? Yep?
- 15:32Speaker 10: Kim k Kim Kardashian.
- 15:33Speaker 5: I saw.
- 15:35Speaker 4: She's gonna be a lawyer.
- 15:36Speaker 9: I thought she was Kim k esquire.
- 15:38Speaker 10: She has thrown in the towel like it was impressient.
- 15:42Speaker 4: She kept failing, right, did you kept?
- 15:44Speaker 10: You get two chances a year to try to pass
- 15:47Speaker 10: the bar and she has not passed it.
- 15:49Speaker 1: But I think you get seven chances total.
- 15:51Speaker 10: Yeah, but she was going to have more chances in
- 15:55Speaker 10: July and she has decided not.
- 15:57Speaker 4: So she's like all right, like for the bar, like
- 16:00Speaker 4: what is the what is considered pass on that one?
- 16:02Speaker 4: That one?
- 16:03Speaker 10: I don't know, but also is just like per percentage,
- 16:06Speaker 10: like you're at a bazillion things like how do you
- 16:11Speaker 10: expect to even pass?
- 16:12Speaker 4: How do you even have the time to study? You know?
- 16:13Speaker 5: Yeah, seriously, she's so busy.
- 16:16Speaker 13: Is she totally done or is she just taking a
- 16:18Speaker 13: year off.
- 16:19Speaker 10: And a gap year that she will not be pursuing it? Okay,
- 16:22Speaker 10: so prom solid answer on this is a rough rough numbers.
- 16:26Speaker 10: Thirty to forty percent of the bar takers fail first attempt. However,
- 16:30Speaker 10: within two years, ninety to ninety six percent eventually pass.
- 16:35Speaker 10: Meaning Okay, once you get through with it and done
- 16:38Speaker 10: it a few times, but.
- 16:39Speaker 4: What do you have to get on the actual test?
- 16:41Speaker 9: Like sixty five percent?
- 16:42Speaker 4: I think? Yeah, are you serious?
- 16:43Speaker 9: I'm looking at it here.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Sixty five percent.
- 16:46Speaker 9: Thirteen ninety out of two thous That's not.
- 16:48Speaker 10: As important as the number of people do it. But
- 16:49Speaker 10: these are people that are dedicating their whole time. Greg,
- 16:53Speaker 10: I'm not making an excuse. I'm just say no, I'm not.
- 16:56Speaker 10: I'm just saying the events she can't pass it. No, no, no,
- 16:59Speaker 10: I'm not making excuses. Just hear me out. I just say,
- 17:03Speaker 10: I'm shocked that you think you could even pass this
- 17:06Speaker 10: when you're not dedicating all your time to it. I'm
- 17:09Speaker 10: not shocked because I've looked again. I just was doing
- 17:11Speaker 10: some L S A T. Questions and it's not tough
- 17:14Speaker 10: especially Okay, so is this your next challenge, pass the
- 17:17Speaker 10: bar blindly.
- 17:18Speaker 15: Not blind because for the bar, you do need to
- 17:20Speaker 15: know actual law, like because they're not asking you just
- 17:23Speaker 15: logic questions. They're asking you specific legal questions. You do
- 17:26Speaker 15: need specific knowledge on. But she's been doing this for
- 17:29Speaker 15: what five six eight years now and having this like
- 17:32Speaker 15: internship thing, you had five.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Or six years to get sixty five percent?
- 17:35Speaker 10: Yeah, with like the duds around the class as something
- 17:37Speaker 10: called the baby bar. I guess that's like.
- 17:39Speaker 15: The probably bite test the baby If in two years
- 17:44Speaker 15: ninety five percent of people eventually pass it, that means
- 17:47Speaker 15: she's dumber than ninety five percent of people.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Well, I means the reason that take it.
- 17:51Speaker 13: Yeah, but she's taking it.
- 17:53Speaker 5: I don't blame her. I mean why yeah, bother.
- 17:56Speaker 4: Because because you made a big deal about it.
- 17:58Speaker 5: Yeah, that's why.
- 17:59Speaker 9: Still and you're getting people out of prison.
- 18:02Speaker 10: It goes back to my rule, greg, Right, how many
- 18:04Speaker 10: people tell anybody just do it?
- 18:05Speaker 2: Well?
- 18:06Speaker 4: How many people have started a project and then halfway
- 18:08Speaker 4: through and go, yeah, you know what, forget it? You
- 18:10Speaker 4: start you know, I'm just around the house, like things
- 18:12Speaker 4: that you want to know just in general, Like I'm
- 18:15Speaker 4: going to be really in the pickleball and you go
- 18:16Speaker 4: buy all the crap and then it's burned out within
- 18:19Speaker 4: what huts.
- 18:20Speaker 15: And I'm getting pilot's license and you said, well I
- 18:22Speaker 15: got you know, I just took three thousand hours of
- 18:25Speaker 15: training and I'm just too stupid to do it.
- 18:27Speaker 4: Well, you know that does happen. Like the the percentage
- 18:31Speaker 4: of people who actually start flight training compared to the
- 18:34Speaker 4: number who actually get their pile's license is very low,
- 18:36Speaker 4: because anybody could start flight trading. Yeah, it's very low,
- 18:38Speaker 4: because then you have to do all the actual stuff.
- 18:40Speaker 4: You have to take all the knowledge exams, you got
- 18:42Speaker 4: to do all the practical tests, you got to do
- 18:44Speaker 4: all that stuff. Yeah, and that's where people flame out
- 18:46Speaker 4: because a lot of stuff, especially what I'm doing right
- 18:48Speaker 4: now with this instrument rating, it's super technical. Yeah, super tech,
- 18:53Speaker 4: Like the written test is mega technical, and aerodynamics and
- 18:56Speaker 4: weather stuff and all these things and how that affects
- 18:59Speaker 4: you know, the lift, the whatever, the load component of
- 19:01Speaker 4: the whatever. The it's crazy stuff. And you got to
- 19:04Speaker 4: get you know, passing great on that. That's seventy percent,
- 19:07Speaker 4: oh seventy percent. But then after you do that, whatever
- 19:10Speaker 4: you've missed on on that exam, then gets brought up
- 19:14Speaker 4: on the exam that you do with the FA examiner
- 19:17Speaker 4: to make sure the past. Yeah, so it's not like
- 19:20Speaker 4: you just miss on that and then they get you
- 19:22Speaker 4: on the other one. So it's that's why people they
- 19:24Speaker 4: go all right, this is not just the fun stuff,
- 19:26Speaker 4: and they're they're.
- 19:28Speaker 15: Out, here's your here's your numbers. About twenty five percent
- 19:30Speaker 15: fail their private pilot license practical on the first attempt.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Yeah, but like how many people start flight training compared
- 19:36Speaker 4: to actually get there. I sure that's a billion. Yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 4: I forget what the percentage is. It's it's crazy low. Yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 4: it's a little crazy low.
- 19:43Speaker 10: That's why you fail. In silence win publicly, Gina grad
- 19:47Speaker 10: What you got?
- 19:48Speaker 9: More lawsuits? Stephen Tyler. He's going to trial in August
- 19:52Speaker 9: over and we we've kind of been hearing about this
- 19:54Speaker 9: was finally happening. Allegations that he groomed and assaulted this
- 19:57Speaker 9: girl when she was sixteen. And it's also kind of
- 20:00Speaker 9: like the James Cameron thing. He's he's kind of screwedin
- 20:02Speaker 9: away because the lawsuit claims he used his power of
- 20:05Speaker 9: you know, being a rock star and you know, and
- 20:07Speaker 9: took her on tour as her legal guardian and her
- 20:12Speaker 9: team says that he even admitted in his memoir calling
- 20:15Speaker 9: her his teen bride and writing she was sixteen and
- 20:19Speaker 9: she knew how to nasty.
- 20:21Speaker 10: Oh damn so not great.
- 20:24Speaker 9: A judge dismissed most of the claims due to time limits,
- 20:27Speaker 9: and a portion is still active. Under California's rule, there's
- 20:29Speaker 9: a look back window for child victims if you want to,
- 20:32Speaker 9: you know, go back years later. Tyler's lawyer called the
- 20:35Speaker 9: dismissal of all the charges of massive win. But this girl,
- 20:39Speaker 9: her attorneys insist it's finally time for him to be
- 20:41Speaker 9: accountable to a jury.
- 20:43Speaker 1: So what do we know what year roughly this would
- 20:45Speaker 1: have happened.
- 20:45Speaker 15: I mean, it sounds like a lot of these guys
- 20:47Speaker 15: did a lot of that kind of stuff in the
- 20:48Speaker 15: sixties and seventy.
- 20:49Speaker 5: They say about it, at.
- 20:51Speaker 4: It and again we put it on.
- 20:52Speaker 15: Anthony Keenis put it explicitly in his memory that he
- 20:54Speaker 15: hooked up with a fourteen year old when he was
- 20:56Speaker 15: like twenty eight or whatever.
- 20:57Speaker 4: That's right.
- 20:58Speaker 15: In fact, I was watching an old I was watching
- 21:00Speaker 15: an old man show.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Clip.
- 21:01Speaker 15: No no, not Adam Carolo, Jimmy Kimmel, but the the
- 21:04Speaker 15: Joe Rogan Doug standhop version, and Joe Rogan was making
- 21:08Speaker 15: albeit jokes about how hot Tracy Lord's sixteen year old.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Porno videos were.
- 21:12Speaker 15: Oh wow, so he used to be just more of
- 21:14Speaker 15: a kind of like, hey, sixteen year old.
- 21:16Speaker 5: And then the whole countdown to the twins turn exactly.
- 21:19Speaker 9: Yeah, this was the height of as Adam Carolla would
- 21:22Speaker 9: call it, statutory rock, where everybody did that nineteen seventy.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Three, nineteen seventy three.
- 21:27Speaker 9: This is the look back window that California wasn't.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Everybody getting married at like sixteen, which you could you
- 21:32Speaker 4: could say that, yeah, like back in that time, like
- 21:34Speaker 4: it seems like a really old not not nineteen seventy three,
- 21:38Speaker 4: but like past that, like people were just barely graduating
- 21:41Speaker 4: in high school.
- 21:42Speaker 9: Yes, but if he did take her on tour and
- 21:47Speaker 9: have to act as her legal guardian, that's pretty damn it.
- 21:50Speaker 1: That's what's great.
- 21:52Speaker 4: All right, Time for the birthday birthday.
- 21:56Speaker 5: Show, We're going.
- 22:00Speaker 12: David won't sit because she's like, it's Sara, and you
- 22:04Speaker 12: know we don't do.
- 22:06Speaker 4: And starting with the celebrities, Happy birthday to Enrique Iglesias.
- 22:10Speaker 4: He is fifty one and got David Attenborough one hundred
- 22:17Speaker 4: years old.

- 27:43Speaker 4: Was how about this day in? History it was today
- 27:46Speaker 4: in eighteen eighty six that a pharmacist named Doctor John,
- 27:51Speaker 4: steve Doctor John Steve, pemberton he invented what is now
- 27:56Speaker 4: known As coca. Cola. Job he intended the d is
- 28:00Speaker 4: like some kind of medicinal syrup to alleviate headaches and,
- 28:03Speaker 4: fatigue and the original recipe contained nine milligrams of cocaine per. Glass. Yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 4: now he died before the drink became super. Popular originally
- 28:13Speaker 4: he knew what it turned out. Into it's.
- 28:15Speaker 10: Huge it's one of the most recognizable brands in the.
- 28:17Speaker 10: World they said That coke And Michael. Jackson you can
- 28:21Speaker 10: be like deep somewhere in a jungle and they'll know
- 28:24Speaker 10: what it.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Is even Though Michael jackson was associated WITH. PEPSI i
- 28:28Speaker 4: think that's something that's, weird, right did you see this
- 28:31Speaker 4: this story see. Beast there's a company and they've announced
- 28:35Speaker 4: that they are working on a new form of wearable.
- 28:37Speaker 4: Tech it's a wearable, item a. Beanie the, tech they,
- 28:43Speaker 4: say can read the mind of the person wearing.
- 28:46Speaker 11: It what does that?
- 28:47Speaker 4: Mean So Sabby sabi is the. Company they said that
- 28:51Speaker 4: the beanie has a bunch of tiny sensors on the
- 28:53Speaker 4: inside of it and it uses THE i can't even
- 28:56Speaker 4: pronounce his word electron from the norm and it acts
- 29:01Speaker 4: like as a brain to computer interface and it just
- 29:06Speaker 4: translates your thoughts INTO.
- 29:07Speaker 15: I, mean that is interesting and we will get there.
- 29:09Speaker 15: SOMEDAY i doubt it's going to be something you could
- 29:11Speaker 15: do over your skin and through your. Skull but but
- 29:14Speaker 15: there is there is science roughly behind this because when
- 29:18Speaker 15: you look at the electrical impulses that generate into thoughts
- 29:21Speaker 15: and which of course generate into. Actions of, Course, uh that's.
- 29:25Speaker 9: Predictable, well and don't we have that for quadriplegics, now.
- 29:28Speaker 15: Well there's a lot of, that, yes neuralink thanks To Elon,
- 29:31Speaker 15: musk who's saving humanity PEOPLE i don't know that. Name
- 29:36Speaker 15: like we the the chemical signals in our brain are
- 29:38Speaker 15: working long much much.
- 29:40Speaker 1: More like in the past than we think.
- 29:42Speaker 15: About like we, think OH i THOUGHT i had a
- 29:43Speaker 15: thought AND i did. It it's it's actually. Happening but
- 29:45Speaker 15: why would you want?
- 29:46Speaker 4: This?
- 29:46Speaker 14: YEAH i mean this seems like it's a tool for
- 29:48Speaker 14: like war and to like capture.
- 29:51Speaker 13: Informants or something on their.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Head, yeah don't tell.
- 29:54Speaker 4: Me that's.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Fine here's the.
- 29:54Speaker 4: COMPANY i, mean are you?
- 29:56Speaker 5: Cool do you want to?
- 29:58Speaker 4: Have wouldn't be interesting just for like a day where
- 30:03Speaker 4: there was a. Screen you ever see that game where
- 30:05Speaker 4: people are trying to guess you put the phone up to.
- 30:07Speaker 9: Your heads us.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Up, yeah the same kind of, thing but there's like
- 30:12Speaker 4: a screen above your, head and it's just saying exactly
- 30:14Speaker 4: what that person is. Thinking like while you're looking everybody's
- 30:17Speaker 4: thoughts like that they're thinking, silently are all of a
- 30:21Speaker 4: sudden on. Displayed would? YOU i hate it because yours
- 30:25Speaker 4: is up there too for.
- 30:26Speaker 9: You you all know HOW i feel about. YOU i,
- 30:29Speaker 9: mean what AM i thinking that people would?
- 30:31Speaker 4: Know i'm. THINKING i don't see. WORDS i don't.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Know that's WHY i don't see where.

- 32:12Speaker 9: by nine thousand schools around the, world just.
- 32:14Speaker 4: In time for everybody's, finals. XACTLY i saw that it.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Was it's causing all kinds of problems right at the
- 32:20Speaker 4: end of the school year.
- 32:21Speaker 9: Two that. Sucks users aren't able to access, assignments, grades,
- 32:24Speaker 9: tests course, materials and some schools are even forced to
- 32:27Speaker 9: cancel or reschedule all these. Exams they're so. Sad so
- 32:32Speaker 9: this hacker Group Shiny, hunters is taking. Responsibility they say
- 32:35Speaker 9: they stole the data type up to two hundred and
- 32:38Speaker 9: seventy five million, students. Teachers staff reports say exposed info
- 32:42Speaker 9: probably includes, names email, addresses student, IDs course, enrollments private,
- 32:46Speaker 9: messages Though canvas's owner says there's no evidence that passwords
- 32:50Speaker 9: or financial data government IDs were messed. With some users
- 32:54Speaker 9: who tried logging Into canvas also reported seeing ransom notes
- 32:58Speaker 9: threatening to leak more data unless the school's paid by next.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Week so we'll.
- 33:03Speaker 4: See there's something with a school that ended up paying
- 33:05Speaker 4: the rams and then they bust to the guys who did.
- 33:08Speaker 5: IT i think it was a.

- 33:22Speaker 9: seventy six teams starting next, season which is the biggest
- 33:26Speaker 9: change they've had in fifteen. Years so the current first
- 33:28Speaker 9: four round will get a lot, bigger adding eight more
- 33:31Speaker 9: games and twenty four teams before the regular sixty four
- 33:34Speaker 9: team bracket. Starts teams with the lowest seeds will battle
- 33:37Speaker 9: for spots in the main tournament, field And, Dayton ohio
- 33:39Speaker 9: will host some of the opening, games with other locations
- 33:42Speaker 9: probably added.

- 33:45Speaker 4: feel like almost everybody makes the. Playoffs uh, huh you know.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Exactly but we just come out on this kind of,
- 33:50Speaker 4: thing just, say everybody's in the. Playoff it's all about the,
- 33:53Speaker 4: money do you?
- 33:53Speaker 10: Guys?
- 33:54Speaker 9: Yeah do you want to know why this is? Happening?
- 33:55Speaker 4: Money, yeah, yeah it's big. MONEY i meant that. PART i,
- 33:58Speaker 4: understand BUT i wish they would just be a little
- 34:00Speaker 4: more transparent. Everybody it's one of those things everybody, knows
- 34:03Speaker 4: but they won't just straight up. Acknowledge they'll they'll they'll, say, oh,
- 34:06Speaker 4: well it gives opportunity for other schools to showcase their,
- 34:12Speaker 4: talents and it makes it more exciting for. Fans and,
- 34:16Speaker 4: like there's already a billion, teams but it's already.
- 34:18Speaker 9: Exciting but if you had, talent And i'm speaking as
- 34:20Speaker 9: a total outsider who knows nothing about, this if you
- 34:22Speaker 9: had talents to, showcase wouldn't you already be in?
- 34:24Speaker 4: It, well there's a billion.
- 34:26Speaker 10: Schools, YEAH i was about to, say with that many,
- 34:28Speaker 10: games how many schools don't get?
- 34:30Speaker 2: In?
- 34:30Speaker 4: Yeah there's STILL i, mean think about how many colleges
- 34:33Speaker 4: there are they have a basketball, program, right.
- 34:35Speaker 10: More Than, Yeah BUT i thought there were like different
- 34:37Speaker 10: levels or. Something there are The division one school yeah.
- 34:41Speaker 10: Two you, know there's there's a bunch of different. Ones
- 34:43Speaker 10: but you, know, again it'd be nice if, man there
- 34:47Speaker 10: was a.
- 34:47Speaker 4: Movie it's an, old, old old Movie Dudley. Moore, Ah, Arthur,
- 34:55Speaker 4: no it's A it was a movie Called Crazy. People
- 34:58Speaker 4: OH i remember.
- 34:58Speaker 2: That.
- 34:59Speaker 4: Okay so the premise of this, movie it's from the,
- 35:01Speaker 4: eighties and the premise of the movie was this guy
- 35:04Speaker 4: played by the Actor Dudley. Moore he worked with this
- 35:09Speaker 4: ad agency and he lost his mind and he decided
- 35:13Speaker 4: that what they were going to do is just be
- 35:15Speaker 4: honest and. Advertising he got fed up with sitting in
- 35:18Speaker 4: these meetings and thinking about all these different ways to
- 35:20Speaker 4: basically trick the consumer or you, know smoking miss right,
- 35:24Speaker 4: exactly and, goes what if we just were? Honest and
- 35:28Speaker 4: that got him committed to an asane. Assignment are you?
- 35:33Speaker 4: Crazy you can't be? Honest and so they sent him
- 35:36Speaker 4: to this nuthouse and he was still motivated by this
- 35:38Speaker 4: idea to have truth in, advertising and so he worked
- 35:41Speaker 4: with all the other nut jobs at the Nuthouse forgot
- 35:44Speaker 4: and they started creating ads for Like, Volvo they're, boxy
- 35:48Speaker 4: but they're, safe and it became the newest, sensation Like
- 35:52Speaker 4: it's swept the, globe and it was so successful that
- 35:57Speaker 4: they became like the most popular advertising. Agency it was
- 36:01Speaker 4: all run by crazy. People the name of the movie
- 36:04Speaker 4: is Crazy. People, yeah it'd be great if everybody's had
- 36:08Speaker 4: a truth, Serum like if you had a one week
- 36:10Speaker 4: period every year and you never knew when it was gonna,
- 36:14Speaker 4: happen but all of a, sudden like a switch was
- 36:16Speaker 4: flipped and everybody in the, matter they couldn't help. Themselves
- 36:19Speaker 4: Remember Jim carrey, liar, liar it's my favorite. Movie, okay same,
- 36:23Speaker 4: thing same, thing but a switch flips and everybody in
- 36:26Speaker 4: society has to be one thousand percent. On they can't even.
- 36:29Speaker 4: Not they can't even if they wanted. To they couldn't, lie.
- 36:32Speaker 9: And they're horrified by what's coming out of their, mouth
- 36:34Speaker 9: but they can't stop.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Exactly that's Another there's a movie you would, Love, woodie
- 36:39Speaker 5: if you haven't seen it. Yet it's Called The invention
- 36:41Speaker 5: Of lying With Ricky Gervais, fantastic where the whole world
- 36:46Speaker 5: has no clue what lying. Is And Ricky gervais goes
- 36:49Speaker 5: to the bank because he's, broke he's behind on his,
- 36:51Speaker 5: rent and in his head there's, like you, know all
- 36:54Speaker 5: this whirlwind of, thoughts and he said to the TELLER
- 36:57Speaker 5: i actually had four hundred dollars in my, account, said
- 37:00Speaker 5: oh you. Did i'm so. Sorry it must be a.
- 37:02Speaker 5: Problem she just gives them four hundred bucks in a
- 37:04Speaker 5: boom light bulb. Moment OH i saw.

- 37:16Speaker 9: a federal lawsuit Against Ohio State, university saying that they
- 37:20Speaker 9: were sexually abused decades ago by former team Doctor Richard
- 37:23Speaker 9: strauss when they played for The.

- 37:40Speaker 9: Toe the players are part of this large class action
- 37:44Speaker 9: case that claims this, Dude Richard, strauss used routine medical
- 37:47Speaker 9: exams as a cover for abuse between the late seventies
- 37:50Speaker 9: and the, nineties and the new group includes thirty Former
- 37:53Speaker 9: Ohio state football, players some of whom went on to
- 37:55Speaker 9: HAVE nfl, careers Like Al, washington Ray Ellis Keith, ferguson
- 38:00Speaker 9: and they say they delayed coming forward for years because
- 38:02Speaker 9: they were super ashamed and they were scared to go
- 38:04Speaker 9: up against a big. University and the university has already
- 38:07Speaker 9: settled with hundreds of other survivors for tens of millions of.
- 38:10Speaker 9: Dollars and now there's still these new claims and a
- 38:14Speaker 9: bunch of snack mixes are being pulled from the stores
- 38:17Speaker 9: after concerns about possible. Salmonillers, yeah after a seasoning. Ingredient oh.
- 38:25Speaker 9: Yeah target pulled out this recall For it's good and
- 38:27Speaker 9: Gather Mexican Street Corn trail, mix which sounds really good
- 38:31Speaker 9: and NOW i want to try, it while several products
- 38:33Speaker 9: From squirrel, Brand fissure And Southern Style nuts also got.
- 38:37Speaker 9: Affected the issue goes back to a seasoning blend made
- 38:40Speaker 9: with dry milk powder that has already been recalled by the.
- 38:43Speaker 9: Supplier so the company behind the snack says there isn't
- 38:45Speaker 9: any reported illnesses, yet but it's recalling it just to
- 38:49Speaker 9: be safe and in case you're not, aware salmonilla can
- 38:52Speaker 9: cause sometoms like stomach, pain, fever diarrhea and, nausea vomiting
- 38:56Speaker 9: and it's more serious for kids and older adults and
- 38:59Speaker 9: people with weakened. Immunes so you'll stay off the street

- 39:02Speaker 15: All, right weight, Laws, yeah you'll buy him off people returning.
- 39:08Speaker 4: It it's a, cleanse, right.
- 39:09Speaker 9: Right, well a guy In kentucky who spent more than
- 39:12Speaker 9: this is what he's, nightmare spent more than twenty two
- 39:15Speaker 9: years in prison for a nineteen ninety two murder he didn't.
- 39:18Speaker 9: Commit he was just awarded twenty four point thirty five
- 39:21Speaker 9: million dollars by a federal jury after he sued for wrongful.
- 39:25Speaker 9: Conviction so think about. That is it worth twenty two
- 39:28Speaker 9: years of your life for twenty two.
- 39:29Speaker 5: Millions i've spent twenty two minutes Until?
- 39:31Speaker 4: Yeah, well think about it this. Way dirty jobs with
- 39:34Speaker 4: micro there's all these jobs that you know nobody really
- 39:36Speaker 4: wants to do but pay really. Well so you just
- 39:39Speaker 4: made a million dollars a, year, yeah right for? Sleeping

- 40:08Speaker 4: Field yeah felt so long, Though and that's that's the
- 40:11Speaker 4: that's the nightmare BECAUSE i think in this this, situation
- 40:13Speaker 4: like the, investigators this is the. Crazy they fabricated some
- 40:18Speaker 4: stuff to undermine his, alibi and the corner. Too the
- 40:22Speaker 4: corner was. Involved he was.
- 40:23Speaker 9: Nineteen it was this case of this this girl being,
- 40:26Speaker 9: murdered and they the prosecutors called it a satanic murder.
- 40:30Speaker 9: Ritual and he argued that the investigators and the, corner
- 40:33Speaker 9: like you, said made up, evidence coerce, witnesses even changed
- 40:36Speaker 9: the time of the victim's death to mess with his.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Alibi, yeah because.
- 40:40Speaker 4: They wanted to be able to Have, hey we got this.
- 40:42Speaker 4: Person now here's the, thing this GUY dna evidence.
- 40:45Speaker 9: Right, yeap but all proves.
- 40:47Speaker 4: That he didn't do. It, yeah and whoever really did
- 40:49Speaker 4: murder this person is still you, know on they don't.
- 40:51Speaker 4: Know so now it's not like they, go, oh we
- 40:54Speaker 4: figured out it was this. Guy really wasn't this. Dude,
- 40:56Speaker 4: no it wasn't this. Dude and we don't know who did.
- 40:58Speaker 9: It, yeah and so he was released in twenty sixteen
- 41:00Speaker 9: and exonerate in twenty. Eighteen so for ten years he's
- 41:03Speaker 9: been trying to get this.
- 41:04Speaker 5: Money it.
- 41:04Speaker 4: Sucks, yeah what's in the?
- 41:06Speaker 9: Corner are they going to? GYM i hope they're not
- 41:09Speaker 9: so passed at this.
- 41:10Speaker 4: Point question on when you get a settlement like, that
- 41:13Speaker 4: like you don't pay taxes on that.
- 41:14Speaker 5: EITHER i don't believe, hopefully as far AS i, know
- 41:16Speaker 5: settlements don't get. TAXED i could be, wrong But i've
- 41:19Speaker 5: heard say they.
- 41:19Speaker 4: Don't, yeah that's WHAT i. HEARD i do have another double.
- 41:22Speaker 4: RIP i KNOW i have the full. AMOUNT i have another.

- 41:29Speaker 10: all these. Tickets what's the incentive of just, saying, oh
- 41:34Speaker 10: you close that? Case you know a lot of ego
- 41:37Speaker 10: thing or do you get a?
- 41:38Speaker 9: BONUS a lot of times it has to do with
- 41:39Speaker 9: re election For DA's oh. Exactly.
- 41:42Speaker 14: YEAH i was also for the public, too to go, like,
- 41:44Speaker 14: hey this murderer's not still out.
- 41:45Speaker 4: There got.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Them.
- 41:46Speaker 9: Yeah like as much true crime AS i listen, to
- 41:51Speaker 9: it's always around an. Election That's that's What i've noticed

- 58:00Speaker 4: Do greg's imature applies to text. Messages we're more than
- 58:03Speaker 4: happy to dish it back when it's being. Dished it's
- 58:06Speaker 4: when it's not being dished and it's just people who
- 58:08Speaker 4: are interacting and engaging with the, show like people who
- 58:11Speaker 4: are fans of the, show and you're being a dick to.
- 58:13Speaker 5: Them THAT i.
- 58:14Speaker 4: HATE i hate. It we've talked about signing texts from
- 58:18Speaker 4: who it's on the, like so if it said whatever
- 58:21Speaker 4: that was signed By Sea, bass that would be, different
- 58:24Speaker 4: but they go because then people get really. Upset they, go, well, hey,
- 58:27Speaker 4: Guys i'm. Sorry i'm a fan of the, show BUT
- 58:31Speaker 4: i don't like what like they get, it, dude it's not.
- 58:33Speaker 4: Helping it doesn't help, us it. Doesn't it hurts. Us
- 58:37Speaker 4: like the people who deserve, it, fine the people who
- 58:39Speaker 4: don't deserve, It i'm not okay With, yeah and so
- 58:42Speaker 4: YESTERDAY i Asked sammy to reach out to the people
- 58:46Speaker 4: that handle all the text, stuff and we Have xnate
- 58:51Speaker 4: his access to the. Text he's gonna, cry too. Bad
- 58:56Speaker 4: he loves the. Text he could text us all, day
- 58:58Speaker 4: remember he was doing.
- 58:59Speaker 9: That he'll start.
- 59:00Speaker 4: That he could he can send us a text from
- 59:03Speaker 4: his own phone if he's you, know which continues to
- 59:05Speaker 4: do his trolling stuff that he was doing. Before but
- 59:07Speaker 4: like when it comes to a listener getting a response
- 59:10Speaker 4: From Sea, bass that doesn't happen. Anymore oh damn.
- 59:14Speaker 5: Good if you had a, shop let's say a coffee,
- 59:19Speaker 5: shop and you sold croissants and somebody said these are?
- 59:21Speaker 5: Amazing are they? Amazing? Really shut?
- 59:25Speaker 4: Up, yeah?
- 59:26Speaker 5: Simpleton, yeah never get. That customers LIKE i.
- 59:30Speaker 4: DON'T i don't want that representing the. Show like if you're.
- 59:33Speaker 4: Texting we're asking you all the, Time, hey be a
- 59:35Speaker 4: part of the. Show Paul in text in blah. Blah
- 59:38Speaker 4: and when you do that and he gets some really
- 59:40Speaker 4: snappy douchebag response back for no reason, whatsoever again and. Again.
- 59:46Speaker 4: Unsigned if you're being a douche and you get it,
- 59:48Speaker 4: back fine you you deserve. IT i got no. Problem
- 59:52Speaker 4: uh anybody on the show telling somebody to go f?
- 59:55Speaker 4: Themselves who deserves. It it's when people are just participating
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: and they get snapped at and called you, know uh
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: names or, yeah called. Stupid, yeah and then you don't sign. It,
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: well and that's.
- 1:00:08Speaker 9: The, thing not only and he doubled down because we
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: remember we asked him to start. Signing he, didn't and
- 1:00:14Speaker 9: he still refers to himself in third. Person so it's
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: like somebody else is doing it on his.
- 1:00:17Speaker 11: Behalf that is.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: True, yeah that is also. True so now, okay well
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: you can't go.
- 1:00:24Speaker 9: Yourself right out of the. Text was he going to
- 1:00:26Speaker 9: do with all his free?
- 1:00:27Speaker 11: TIME i?
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Know?
- 1:00:28Speaker 10: Yeah that was that was just like my biggest thing
- 1:00:30Speaker 10: of him just signing whatever whatever he's, writing because like
- 1:00:34Speaker 10: there'll be stuff that will be directed towards me Or
- 1:00:37Speaker 10: greg Or gina Or woody and Then i'm like sea.
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: Best i'm like out like face to face with listeners
- 1:00:43Speaker 10: all the, Time like.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: So it looks Like menace is the one that responded.
- 1:00:47Speaker 10: AND i have no idea what they're talking, about and.
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: You have to go back and, say, hey just so
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: you know that wasn't.
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: Me, Yeah i'm not saying that he can't earn it.
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: Back he can earn it. Back we might give him
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: another opportunity at some, point but right, now you're on

- 1:03:47Speaker 10: to be a chick about it BECAUSE i got with
- 1:03:50Speaker 10: a lot of younger.
- 1:03:50Speaker 16: People, yeah you, know twenty, somethings and, UH i like
- 1:03:54Speaker 16: to keep myself. Young asian is kind of the new,
- 1:03:58Speaker 16: uh the new. VIBE i PHIL i.
- 1:04:01Speaker 10: Support it BECAUSE i did see him the other day
- 1:04:03Speaker 10: hanging out with the people that he does hang out,
- 1:04:05Speaker 10: with and they are much younger than he, is but
- 1:04:07Speaker 10: he does look the same age as.
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: Them, yeah, yeah, Crazy, WELL i, mean going back to
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: the whole, thing. Black don't crack.
- 1:04:15Speaker 10: Unless you do.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: Crack unless you do. Crack and he looks, sweaty then
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: all bet then all bets are. Off. Yeah, yeah but
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: there's some cakes over. There love it into some of them.
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: Cakes joran looks.
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: Fire yeah it does.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: Cake.
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: Yeah you know who else just? Arrived is a chef's
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: swoop h one where you guys? Were did you guys go?
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: Outside AND i had to.
- 1:04:37Speaker 11: KNOW i had to get the pants THAT i would
- 1:04:40Speaker 11: be preparing for.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: Everyone we're back To omelet's.
- 1:04:44Speaker 11: Nice, yeah you know it's the one Year omelet anniversary?
- 1:04:48Speaker 9: Anniversary is it?
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:04:50Speaker 11: Yeah this time last year was my first time coming.
- 1:04:54Speaker 11: Here oh, mg it's like we're in a long Distance.
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: YEAH i am, Lad i'm. Latude nice start what's? Up
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: swoop you?
- 1:05:07Speaker 11: Good i'm.
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: Alive he's, alive all, RIGHT i. AM i am.
- 1:05:10Speaker 11: Alive i'm. Here.
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: Guys it's a good.
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: Thing are you back with your?
- 1:05:12Speaker 11: GIRLFRIEND i am in a, relationship, Dude, okay but it's
- 1:05:17Speaker 11: not this is the same. One, yeah this is the same.
- 1:05:20Speaker 11: One but the pot now IS i am, unemployed, GUYS
- 1:05:25Speaker 11: i am looking for a full time. Client client had
- 1:05:28Speaker 11: to let me. Go she was immensely, rich but she
- 1:05:30Speaker 11: can't afford me because the economy is. Trash so here we. Are, yeah, man,
- 1:05:35Speaker 11: YEAH i.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: Was are you insanely?
- 1:05:37Speaker 11: Rich but, well even rich people are pinching their pockets right.
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: Now.
- 1:05:42Speaker 11: Man you, know if you want to be their personal,
- 1:05:45Speaker 11: chef you, know, YEAH i don't want. TO i don't
- 1:05:51Speaker 11: want to end up in that, situation you know WHAT i.
- 1:05:53Speaker 11: Mean but if you got ten k a, month, brother
- 1:05:55Speaker 11: holler at.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Me you know What i'm.
- 1:05:56Speaker 11: Saying we can make something. Happen don't punch.
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: Me, yeah, okay so we yet me ask you that
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: question like people hear about celebrities with you, know personal.
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: Chefs what does that? Cost so for me my daily
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: maybe not even? You in? GENERAL i would.
- 1:06:12Speaker 11: Say generally you are.
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: ELITE i.
- 1:06:14Speaker 11: AM i have a different tier price.
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: Point, yes that's.
- 1:06:17Speaker 11: Correct BUT i will say that the average private chef
- 1:06:21Speaker 11: these days would probably be making anywhere from five to
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: sixty five hundred a month from a client that they
- 1:06:31Speaker 11: work For monday Through. Friday how many? Meals so it
- 1:06:35Speaker 11: depends on what the client like.
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: From for six thousand dollars a, month six thousand dollars.
- 1:06:41Speaker 11: A, month they are probably gonna want breakfast in dinner
- 1:06:44Speaker 11: or lunch and. Dinner it'll be like two, meals you
- 1:06:46Speaker 11: know What i'm.
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: Saying and then they pay for the food, too, right they.
- 1:06:49Speaker 11: Cover the Food usually it depends on your relationship with your,
- 1:06:52Speaker 11: client but they would usually cover either you cover it
- 1:06:56Speaker 11: and they expense, you WHICH i, hate, yeah because then
- 1:06:59Speaker 11: it Like i'm using my money and it's caused issues
- 1:07:02Speaker 11: with me in the past because it's, like, dude just
- 1:07:04Speaker 11: give me the cards right in shocked because the last
- 1:07:06Speaker 11: THING i want to do is ask for my money
- 1:07:08Speaker 11: bag and then you're just like kind of pussy hooting,
- 1:07:11Speaker 11: me like, yeah and it's like NOW i feel weird
- 1:07:13Speaker 11: Because i'm asking for money in The i've already, paid
- 1:07:16Speaker 11: you know WHAT i. Mean so, Yeah so usually you
- 1:07:20Speaker 11: expend it or they give you a card and then
- 1:07:22Speaker 11: you know it's your labor. Travel it depends on how you.
- 1:07:25Speaker 11: Itemize like me, PERSONALLY i was kind of more of
- 1:07:27Speaker 11: an on an hourly daytime buy out thing because my
- 1:07:31Speaker 11: business hours start early and they end pretty much like
- 1:07:34Speaker 11: everyone else is around like three thirty four or, five
- 1:07:37Speaker 11: depending on what you.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: Do so for, me my.
- 1:07:40Speaker 11: Last, CLIENT i still won't say who she is because
- 1:07:42Speaker 11: that's my dog AND i love her to, death but
- 1:07:44Speaker 11: she was paying me almost EIGHT k a. Month and
- 1:07:48Speaker 11: this was a sweet job because it was her and her,
- 1:07:50Speaker 11: husband a three year old and she was pregnant WHEN
- 1:07:53Speaker 11: i met her this time last, year so it was.
- 1:07:57Speaker 11: SWEET i was just doing lunch and dinner for, them
- 1:08:00Speaker 11: but plate, it SO i would have to plate everything
- 1:08:04Speaker 11: clean and then just like take take like a three hour,
- 1:08:08Speaker 11: break which was great BECAUSE i would just go play
- 1:08:11Speaker 11: golf or like go to the go to the beach
- 1:08:13Speaker 11: or like you know WHAT i, mean like smoke a
- 1:08:14Speaker 11: joint like, whatever and then i'd come back and plate
- 1:08:18Speaker 11: the dinner and clean and then.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: Go oh so so for six Hous i'm still trying to.
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: Understand so six thousand dollars covers just the, preparations so
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: that doesn't include the.
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: Groceries it doesn't go they're gonna grocery shop on their own.
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: Regardless but then on top of, that, though like you
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: pay for like what do you mean? Travel like just.
- 1:08:41Speaker 11: So for, me my client lived off Of, supulvida so
- 1:08:45Speaker 11: she was close To la x AND i was coming from.
- 1:08:48Speaker 11: Downtown so it's, like, fam you're gonna have to pad
- 1:08:51Speaker 11: them pockets for that for that. Travel so essentially what
- 1:08:56Speaker 11: it turned out to instead of me charging her for like.
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: Completely my random, month it doesn't even include. Groceries you
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: could figure out how to get.
- 1:09:03Speaker 11: It, Yeah, No so basically the WAY i itemized it
- 1:09:05Speaker 11: because ultimately our our relationship went from a business relationship
- 1:09:09Speaker 11: to like more like, homies you know WHAT i. Mean
- 1:09:11Speaker 11: LIKE i met her at a very critical time in
- 1:09:13Speaker 11: her life when she was growing a, baby you know
- 1:09:15Speaker 11: WHAT i, Mean she was very, vulnerable AND i was
- 1:09:19Speaker 11: making food to make sure that she was like energetic
- 1:09:22Speaker 11: enough to do the thing to be a, mom you
- 1:09:24Speaker 11: know WHAT i.
- 1:09:25Speaker 10: MEAN i didn't Realize rosie o'donald was.
- 1:09:27Speaker 11: Pregnant that makes.
- 1:09:30Speaker 9: Sense because for the quality of the food and the
- 1:09:32Speaker 9: plating and. STUFF i did some quick math and it'd
- 1:09:35Speaker 9: be like one hundred and thirty ish bucks of meal.
- 1:09:39Speaker 11: Essentially, yes, yeah load of, family you know.
- 1:09:44Speaker 9: When you're kind of you, know evening everything.
- 1:09:46Speaker 11: Now so, essentially they tried to give me a five
- 1:09:49Speaker 11: hundred dollars budget a week to. SHOP i told them
- 1:09:52Speaker 11: to cut that to three hundred and let me stretch
- 1:09:54Speaker 11: it because ultimately that turned into job security for me
- 1:09:58Speaker 11: BECAUSE i was saving them. Money you know, WHAT i.
- 1:10:00Speaker 11: Mean also they're very particular about. Quality SO i spent
- 1:10:05Speaker 11: a lot of time in the farmers', markets you know
- 1:10:07Speaker 11: WHAT i. Mean that's also a part of my, job
- 1:10:09Speaker 11: and creating these food, products like coming up with these
- 1:10:11Speaker 11: ideas and presenting it to them at the top of
- 1:10:13Speaker 11: the week in a, menu you know WHAT i. Mean
- 1:10:16Speaker 11: it's like so it's, like not only does it takes
- 1:10:18Speaker 11: the back end, work it's taking the time to do
- 1:10:21Speaker 11: that and then actually going and shopping and then you,
- 1:10:23Speaker 11: know actually you, know jumping around to all these different
- 1:10:25Speaker 11: places to find These the.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: Personal chef thing is one THING i never really fully,
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: Understood like how does that?
- 1:10:29Speaker 11: Work are they living at your? House, yeah some of
- 1:10:33Speaker 11: them are. Living that's a DIFFERENT i had the option
- 1:10:35Speaker 11: to do that years ago With Ryan, coogler he Wrote
- 1:10:40Speaker 11: Black panther and all. That, yeah him And zimzi are beautiful.
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: People imagine any point in your, Day, greg you just
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: GO i want whatever it. Is, yeah, yeah that would Be. Vaughn,
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: yeah that'd be, awesome.
- 1:10:52Speaker 10: Amazing Vaughn morgan AND i we got to go To
- 1:10:55Speaker 10: Dana white's private, kitchen which is like just a door
- 1:10:58Speaker 10: on the side of his office and he has two
- 1:11:00Speaker 10: chefs in there and he had they had a set
- 1:11:02Speaker 10: menu for the day and he's, like.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: Yeah just whatever you.
- 1:11:05Speaker 10: GUYS i swear there was like a censor because once
- 1:11:09Speaker 10: you opened the door to go into the kitchen like,
- 1:11:11Speaker 10: this the chef's just like, yeah like genies or.
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: Something, WELL i gotta take a break and you gotta
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: start they aamuts. Man, yeah man got fresh ingredients that
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: are not being refrigerated right. Now he's got to get
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: to work on. Those like, SO i, mean you, know,
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: again just out of pure, curiosity like where do if
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: you're looking for the is there a personal chef website
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: like you go?
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: To?
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: Like uh?
- 1:11:32Speaker 11: So there are several portals where chefs that have been
- 1:11:37Speaker 11: in that have been. Vetted can you? Know you? CAN
- 1:11:41Speaker 11: i have friends that are like LIKE i have one
- 1:11:43Speaker 11: of my. Homegirls she used to Be Low wayne's private,
- 1:11:44Speaker 11: chef so she's like locked in in like the Celebrity
- 1:11:48Speaker 11: private chef world where people will inquire about her. Availability, Essentially,
- 1:11:55Speaker 11: yes there are several different lists like that where you
- 1:11:57Speaker 11: can find chefs like me who will.
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: Provide the service that you, well.
- 1:12:02Speaker 10: Even air tasker who we work. With you can get a.
- 1:12:05Speaker 10: Chef was that, Right, yeah.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: Because that'd BE i, mean, see that would BE i
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: think if we've talked about if you had all the
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: money in the, world what luxury would you. Want menace
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: would like to be driven, around Like menace would love
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: somebody else just do the. Driving that, way he can
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: just be on his phone napping or napping or nap
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: in the back of the car. Whatever that's pretty. Valid,
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: yeah what WOULD i think, DRIVERS i think having somebody
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: Like swoop that, way you can make sure that you
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: are eating. Healthy if that's not you're not in that
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: situation where it's just you're eating out of convenience and
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: eating stuff that you know you shouldn't, need and you're
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: not just interesting because you, know most people know how
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: to make like two or three things and then the
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: rest is just kind of filled in with like super basic,
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: stuff you, know so you get some, variety you're not
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: getting bored with eating the same crap all the.
- 1:12:51Speaker 9: Time somebody to text us and, say Does Chef swoop
- 1:12:54Speaker 9: have a poor people? Tier asking for, myself so this is.
- 1:12:58Speaker 11: The, thing you know What i'm, Saying, LIKE i do
- 1:13:00Speaker 11: it based on like your. BUDGET i usually ask clients
- 1:13:03Speaker 11: like what's your budget like and if you're, trying, like,
- 1:13:05Speaker 11: LIKE i have a meal prep client right now who
- 1:13:07Speaker 11: pays me two grand AND i do a lunch and
- 1:13:10Speaker 11: dinner and like prepackaged smoothies for. Him and he does
- 1:13:15Speaker 11: that for a, month you know WHAT i. Mean so
- 1:13:17Speaker 11: it's basically like twenty to twenty five dollars a. Meal, yeah,
- 1:13:21Speaker 11: so AND i charged him for the. Month he gives
- 1:13:23Speaker 11: me two grand at the top of every month and
- 1:13:25Speaker 11: then he just comes and picks up Every monday from him.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: From my lost, look, man can you can get more
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: information at Chef Underscore swoop that's on social media or media,
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: Man swoop kitchen dot. Com swoop kitchen dot. Com join
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: that mailing, list, man and if you got, questions you
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: can send them some.
- 1:13:42Speaker 11: Stuff but you, KNOW i am here to a big
- 1:13:45Speaker 11: part of my job is also educating, clients not just.
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: Cooking so. Nice it was a year ago that we
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: Had Swoop swoop come in for the first time because
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: for many many, years everybody around here is joked about
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: how we should get an omelet. Station it was our,
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: time So i'm, like all, right, well let's let's get some.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: Omelets And vaughan is friends With chef's swoop and he, goes,
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: HEY i got the, guy and then we we met
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: you and here we are one year, late year, later year,
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: Later happy. Anniversary, yeah we're gonna take a, break we'll come.
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: Back we've got fail. Stories those will be. Next and
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: THEN i got something ELSE i want you involved in, here.
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: Swoop cooking myths well.
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: From somebody actually knows what they're talking about, here things
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: that you know Because I'M i know how to make.
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: Stuff but then you hear, about, oh well you're supposed
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: to x Y. Z it's like not necessarily true or you, know.
- 1:14:33Speaker 11: You can debunk some stuff.
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: Correct AND i Know greg loves to, get loves to.
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: Cook, right there's a raging debates on. That you put
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: oil and we'll get to it. Later put oil in
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: your pasta? Water do you rinse off? Chickens stuff like.
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: That let's let's have at.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: It.
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: Right the meantime you get to work on these. Omelets.
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: PLEASE i smell. SOMETHING i can't tell exactly What i'm,
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: smelling and there's cakes and feeling we're doing.

- 1:17:13Speaker 4: they raced. Nice hell, yeah well not too far up the.
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: Road watching all of this unfold was a police. Officer
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: he clocked the guy with the bike doing one hundred
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: and forty miles an, hour the car doing one hundred
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: and twenty four mile an. Hour, jeez he wasn't able
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: to catch the, bike but he did catch the, car
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: pulled it. Over the driver had no, license which not
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: a great, start and when the cop asked him why

- 1:18:17Speaker 4: to fail, jail WHICH i think In florida don't they
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: have they automatically take the? License? RIGHT i believe there's
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: something with if it's over one hundred miles an hour.

- 1:21:18Speaker 4: to wiggle his head, out so they went over there
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: and they held him in the railing while they called
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: the cops to come get. Him so he was like

- 1:26:45Speaker 4: all she. Does and then there was another THING i
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: saw where Apparently Mike rabel has A burner account and
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: so he's been responding to a lot of the people
- 1:26:54Speaker 4: who've been giving opinions about the whole thing With Diana.
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: Rossini and it was, Like Mike master was the name
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: on The burner? Account is it actually his? Account not,

- 1:27:21Speaker 4: the different to the different. Posts he, says you, Bitch.
- 1:27:25Speaker 5: OKAY i don't know if he should lose his, job
- 1:27:28Speaker 5: BUT i think he could because it's incredibly.
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: Distracted sure he, could but, again this is not between
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: him and his. Employer this is between him and his, wife.
- 1:27:37Speaker 5: Right but it's she could fire. Him it's spilled over
- 1:27:40Speaker 5: into the professional.
- 1:27:42Speaker 13: World it is, distracting BUT i don't think he'll loses.
- 1:27:44Speaker 10: Job it's not distracting from. Players players are doing that
- 1:27:47Speaker 10: all day.
- 1:27:47Speaker 4: Too here's here's WHAT i don't like About but here's
- 1:27:50Speaker 4: WHAT i don't like about. IT i don't like it
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: when there starts to be this call for him to
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: lose his, job because why why are you so LIKE
- 1:27:56Speaker 4: i don't like cheaters. Either, again if you are not
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: happy in a, relationship break up with the, person you
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: can go do whatever you, want like sack, up, right
- 1:28:05Speaker 4: and you, know man up and break up and then
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: go do whatever you, want. Right but when people start
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: making these calls for you, know someone to lose their.
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: Job this is not it wasn't a relationship with you
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: has nothing to do with their.
- 1:28:16Speaker 5: Job, normally NORMALLY i wouldn't even give it a second
- 1:28:19Speaker 5: thought to some sort of celebrity affair. Thing but the
- 1:28:21Speaker 5: recent photos Of Mike rabel's wife walking through an, AIRPORT
- 1:28:24Speaker 5: i felt so bad for. Her she looked just bummed,
- 1:28:27Speaker 5: out and the husband, too yeah, yeah oh.
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: Yeah and then whoever was behind that burner account deleted
- 1:28:33Speaker 4: it because like once it was, like oh Does mike're
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: able to have a burner? Account it was, deleted which
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: doesn't look good as far as it like not being his.
- 1:28:42Speaker 5: Right because if it, wasn't you'd be. There but what
- 1:28:44Speaker 5: a what a great.
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: Story that story just keeps getting better for.

- 1:31:05Speaker 4: a lot of people who like came in said hi

- 1:31:10Speaker 4: this last. Second, Again i'm sorry for the last second,
- 1:31:12Speaker 4: thing but again it was all in an effort not
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: to really overwhelm a place that had no idea that
- 1:31:17Speaker 4: we were. Coming But endless Shrimp man goes to the twenty.
- 1:31:21Speaker 4: FOURTH i did confirm it goes Until, sunday the twenty,
- 1:31:24Speaker 4: fourth and Then greg figured out there is a red
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: lobster by his. House oh, WHAT i googled. It it's
- 1:31:30Speaker 4: about probably three and a half miles, away is?
- 1:31:33Speaker 17: It?
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: Yeah but It?
- 1:31:34Speaker 4: Tarzana is it Considered tarzana considered?
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: Park?

- 1:31:40Speaker 5: could we should do another.
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: One. Yeah, well well we're gonna be every red. Lobster
- 1:31:45Speaker 4: we have no shortage of. Ideas there's always things that
- 1:31:47Speaker 4: we talk about doing or. Whatever and we know we're
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: doing some. Things that's gonna make execution a lot easier
- 1:31:53Speaker 4: of getting things done and making sure that they don't
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: fall through the. Cracks and you, know it's gonna it's
- 1:31:58Speaker 4: gonna be. Good it's gonna be. Good eight, seven seven forty.
- 1:32:01Speaker 4: Four he sent us a text over to two two
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: nine eight seven.
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: Show NOW i.
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: Feel like an. Idiot he swoop before you start, anymore.
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: Amlesten Chef swoop is. Here by the, way everybody swoop
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: hellove bottom uh swoop kitchen dot. Com it's s W
- 1:32:20Speaker 4: O p kitchen dot com at chef underscore swoop on.
- 1:32:25Speaker 4: Uh on social, media so we have some some bs cooking.
- 1:32:31Speaker 4: Myths so you, know, people we talked to one guy
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: at our event and this guy, man he's in the
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: wrong line of. Business he makes his own. Sushi he
- 1:32:40Speaker 4: was showing us pictures Of god.
- 1:32:41Speaker 10: And it looked like a restaurant when he first showed. It,
- 1:32:43Speaker 10: LITERALLY i was, like, yeah, oh what restaurant is?
- 1:32:46Speaker 4: That, Yeah i'm, like, dude what are you doing for a? Living? Yeah,
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: ANYWAY i love, that and we we hear it the
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: from a lot of. People greg's always talking about things
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: that he's, making and, yeah a lot of people like.
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: That so these these are some things that are that
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: are out there that people do that maybe you should be.
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: Doing but we'll get an expert's. Opinion, yeah let's talk about.
- 1:33:02Speaker 4: It let's talk about these omelets, Though, So, greg what
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: do you think you're the best at DESCRIBING.
- 1:33:07Speaker 5: I, mean the thing THAT i think is an overused
- 1:33:10Speaker 5: phrase in describing food is melts in your. Mouth but
- 1:33:14Speaker 5: these truly melt in your. Mouth, yeah they're really good
- 1:33:16Speaker 5: melt in your mouth omelet perfect, texture, smooth, silky not
- 1:33:21Speaker 5: chewy by any. Means and then WHAT i love about
- 1:33:24Speaker 5: The hollandais sauce is that it's. INDESCRIBABLE i don't know
- 1:33:27Speaker 5: if THERE'S i know there's, lemon but there's some flavor
- 1:33:31Speaker 5: in there THAT I i love a food THAT i
- 1:33:33Speaker 5: don't know What i'm, eating BUT i KNOW i love.
- 1:33:35Speaker 5: IT i think it might have been the hint of
- 1:33:36Speaker 5: lemon or the hot, sauce like the hot.
- 1:33:38Speaker 11: Sauce the hot sauce is definitely like you, know some
- 1:33:42Speaker 11: people use hot, sauce some people use. Tabasco depends on
- 1:33:45Speaker 11: who your chef was that taught you how to make not.
- 1:33:48Speaker 11: Overwhelming it's just perfect balance everything.
- 1:33:50Speaker 5: And then when you're like chives on, anything it makes it.
- 1:33:52Speaker 4: Beautiful, yeah this is textbook.
- 1:33:57Speaker 11: Fermagechees, Okay, okay there's a question for some of you.
- 1:34:03Speaker 4: Chefs i'll go to a PLACE i look at the.
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: MENU i don't know what any of this crap is
- 1:34:06Speaker 4: and then you ask, me, go, oh well that's a
- 1:34:08Speaker 4: steak and there's some green be harra cott. Verts yeah
- 1:34:13Speaker 4: what is that how you say? It, Yeah harritt.
- 1:34:20Speaker 9: Viewers.
- 1:34:22Speaker 4: I'm so fancy, Though, Yeah, like why do you make
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: it so that the average person can't read? It?
- 1:34:27Speaker 11: Well you know for me what it. IS i know
- 1:34:29Speaker 11: a lot of people do the you, KNOW i think
- 1:34:32Speaker 11: the standard for fine dining is you, Know, french like Classical,
- 1:34:38Speaker 11: french you know WHAT i? Mean, so, Uh unfortunately a
- 1:34:41Speaker 11: lot of people don't Speak. French like my lick back is.
- 1:34:44Speaker 11: UH i Put swahili on my menus from time to,
- 1:34:48Speaker 11: time so whenever we have diners that are from the
- 1:34:51Speaker 11: mountains of caucas they can struggle through The swahili the
- 1:34:54Speaker 11: same way we struggle through The, french you, know.
- 1:35:00Speaker 9: A.
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: Tukus it reminds me of that clip WITH i Think
- 1:35:02Speaker 4: i've seen that Movie Crazy Little. Guy oh, man what's his?
- 1:35:08Speaker 4: Name crazy Little? Guy, no the uh he was on
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: With Shannon sharp talked smack about everybody made all these.
- 1:35:16Speaker 10: Predictables are you talking About, Williams.
- 1:35:18Speaker 11: Cat, williams that's the Crazy, yeah, yeah he is a
- 1:35:22Speaker 11: crazy he is shout out the. Cat he is a crazy.
- 1:35:24Speaker 11: Man he is a tiny. Man he is he is
- 1:35:26Speaker 11: a powerful.
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: Man remember that the movie he's behind bars and the
- 1:35:30Speaker 4: woman brings the that's a white baby from the mountains of.
- 1:35:34Speaker 11: The mountains Of. Caucus, indeed, yes.
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: Maybe he's got a seven to fifty credits call sitting.
- 1:35:38Speaker 5: Here, yeah, man so that's not what the Name Cat,
- 1:35:43Speaker 5: williams that's.
- 1:35:44Speaker 11: Yeah so that's WHY i do this. Swey from time to,
- 1:35:46Speaker 11: time we'll Put swaheli on the. Menu we'll put things like.
- 1:35:48Speaker 11: That it's easy for black and brown people to pronounce,
- 1:35:51Speaker 11: it but not so easy for The.
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: And that's how you like, it, right because you, KNOW i.
- 1:35:55Speaker 11: Don't necessarily say, that but it's like from time to
- 1:35:57Speaker 11: TIME i will try to get my look back like.
- 1:35:59Speaker 11: This this industry is dominated by Classical european And french
- 1:36:03Speaker 11: and you, know all.
- 1:36:04Speaker 4: Right so these are some cooking. Myths what is a
- 1:36:06Speaker 4: common cooking rule that everyone? Follows but is it? Complete bs?
- 1:36:11Speaker 4: Man we'll see what Chef swoop says here because they
- 1:36:13Speaker 4: talk to. Chefs, yeah and we'll see. It oil in pasta, Water,
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: greg you were bringing this up very. Contentious oil in
- 1:36:20Speaker 4: pasta water doesn't keep the pasta from sticking.
- 1:36:23Speaker 11: It it does.
- 1:36:23Speaker 5: NOT i don't know why anybody would do. That it's
- 1:36:26Speaker 5: just like you gotta look at it like, this all.
- 1:36:28Speaker 5: Right so if you're a, kid right and you're in
- 1:36:30Speaker 5: the kitchen with your, grandma and your grandma has these
- 1:36:33Speaker 5: old wives tales that she's just adhere to because it's
- 1:36:36Speaker 5: just like muscle, memory old, timing she might not necessarily
- 1:36:39Speaker 5: know why she's putting a splash of olive oil in the.
- 1:36:42Speaker 5: Water you know What i'm, saying but if it just
- 1:36:45Speaker 5: completes her cipher in the, kitchen it makes her feel,
- 1:36:47Speaker 5: good then she's doing. It and if you're a kid
- 1:36:49Speaker 5: and you see your grandma do, it you're not gonna question.
- 1:36:52Speaker 5: It you're gonna do, it you know What i'm. Saying,
- 1:36:53Speaker 5: yeah it's just like, subconsciously these are the types of
- 1:36:56Speaker 5: These this is the way that these myths come to.
- 1:37:00Speaker 11: Wish you know What i'm. Saying what about this?
- 1:37:01Speaker 4: One searing meat to seal in the juice is a total.
- 1:37:05Speaker 4: Myth searing is, great just not for that. REASON i would.
- 1:37:10Speaker 11: Say searing is great to build like my yard or
- 1:37:14Speaker 11: like a crust on the outside of a protein or. Anything,
- 1:37:18Speaker 11: rather BUT i don't think it's necessarily ceiling in, moisture
- 1:37:23Speaker 11: you know What i'm, Saying like that has to do more.
- 1:37:25Speaker 4: Steak when it's, resting it still will you know WHAT i,
- 1:37:28Speaker 4: Mean it's still get those the puddle of the.
- 1:37:31Speaker 11: Juice, yeah it's resting. Steak and just the quality characteristic
- 1:37:34Speaker 11: is just ultimately how long you cook a piece of
- 1:37:36Speaker 11: meat or anything to maintain the moisture.
- 1:37:39Speaker 9: Quality, okay seer or reverse or does it?
- 1:37:42Speaker 11: Matter, OH i, mean it just depends on for. Me
- 1:37:46Speaker 11: what's a Reverse, yeah so ribbi like, bones like like,
- 1:37:50Speaker 11: Tomahawks i'll reverse. Her i'll start those in the oven
- 1:37:54Speaker 11: and Then i'll pull them and sear them to just
- 1:37:56Speaker 11: get a good sea on the, outside Because I'm i'm
- 1:37:58Speaker 11: starting them in a hot oven and then dropping the,
- 1:38:01Speaker 11: temperature letting them cook to their degree of, dundas pulling
- 1:38:04Speaker 11: them and then searing.
- 1:38:05Speaker 4: This right, now how far? Out how far out do
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: you remove from the oven to seer because the seer
- 1:38:11Speaker 4: is still going to bring the temperature.
- 1:38:12Speaker 11: Up, Now yes and, no but it's like a finishing.
- 1:38:15Speaker 11: Thing but, saying like.
- 1:38:15Speaker 4: From the, oven do you go directly to the seerra
- 1:38:18Speaker 4: does it rest before then you see?
- 1:38:19Speaker 11: It so you, do screaming hot, oven you go in
- 1:38:22Speaker 11: and then you drop. It you let it go for a,
- 1:38:24Speaker 11: while and then you drop the temperature and you still
- 1:38:27Speaker 11: leave it in the. Oven, Okay so that's literally cooking
- 1:38:29Speaker 11: the to your degree of, dundas whether you want it
- 1:38:32Speaker 11: to be, medium rare or. Whatever so you pull it
- 1:38:34Speaker 11: in hard Seer i'm talking cast iron or like a
- 1:38:38Speaker 11: screeching hot, grill you know What i'm, Saying just to
- 1:38:41Speaker 11: get the finish on the outside that you, want like
- 1:38:44Speaker 11: you take.
- 1:38:44Speaker 4: It out and you put the seer onto it that
- 1:38:46Speaker 4: which is over Then.
- 1:38:47Speaker 11: Yeah but like you want to you kind of want
- 1:38:49Speaker 11: to go under your degree of dundans when you're doing
- 1:38:51Speaker 11: a reverser, anyway because you are going to continue to
- 1:38:54Speaker 11: cook and then carry on cook after the meat is done.
- 1:38:56Speaker 4: Cooking myths with chefs. Swoop fresh veggies taste, better but
- 1:39:00Speaker 4: frozen veggies are healthier for. You fresh veggies are picked
- 1:39:04Speaker 4: prematurely and ripen while in transit and in. Storage frozen
- 1:39:07Speaker 4: veggies are the last picked of the season and they've
- 1:39:10Speaker 4: ripened on the.
- 1:39:11Speaker 11: Vine i'm gonna say that that's a lot of, fluff, Fam,
- 1:39:17Speaker 11: like if you want fresh, vegetable if you want, FRESH i, mean,
- 1:39:19Speaker 11: LOOK i can say something slick, Too. Bro sometimes cucumbers
- 1:39:23Speaker 11: taste better. Pickled Like that's just that was just, confusing
- 1:39:26Speaker 11: you know What i'm. Saying it's just, Like, bro go
- 1:39:28Speaker 11: to the farmer's market if you want fresh. Produce it's
- 1:39:30Speaker 11: as simple as. That the freshest produce comes from the it's.
- 1:39:34Speaker 11: Farm that's why they call it farm to. Table, yeah
- 1:39:36Speaker 11: any processes in between free, flash, freezing you know WHAT
- 1:39:41Speaker 11: i mean if you're trying to hold stuff, great but
- 1:39:43Speaker 11: like it's not going to make the nutritional value of
- 1:39:48Speaker 11: set vegetable increase from flash. Freezing like how like how
- 1:39:53Speaker 11: it makes? Sense all?
- 1:39:53Speaker 4: Right washing chicken has no. Benefit you kill all the
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: bacteria when you cook. It some people like to wash the.
- 1:39:59Speaker 11: Chicken So I'm I'M i come from A caribbean, Household
- 1:40:03Speaker 11: so we use vinegar on. Chicken that's like store, boughted
- 1:40:08Speaker 11: you know What i'm, saying to give it a good.
- 1:40:09Speaker 11: Rint sometimes lemon or, lime like if you have lemons
- 1:40:13Speaker 11: and limes up, though they're like rub it on the
- 1:40:15Speaker 11: skin and it's just like there's just some things on
- 1:40:17Speaker 11: THE i feel like SOMETIMES i can tell the difference
- 1:40:20Speaker 11: between when people clean their chicken when they. Don't, really
- 1:40:25Speaker 11: but it's not like, A i think that's just Because
- 1:40:28Speaker 11: i've been in the industry so. Long you, Know i'm
- 1:40:30Speaker 11: going on twenty years doing. This so it's like those small,
- 1:40:33Speaker 11: things the qualities very very you can barely tell that
- 1:40:39Speaker 11: like a minute day.
- 1:40:40Speaker 4: Yace you know about what about like throwing? It, Yea
- 1:40:43Speaker 4: let's just say like you were gonna make. It let's
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: say you were going to try to make some chicken
- 1:40:47Speaker 4: for somebody you were hoping to be your girlfriend some,
- 1:40:49Speaker 4: point and you left it in the sink.
- 1:40:51Speaker 5: Overnight, yeah so this is from. Frozen so, like for,
- 1:40:58Speaker 5: example we have the process here, right like you just, right, yeah,
- 1:41:01Speaker 5: yeah all, Right So I'm i'm picking up what you're putting.
- 1:41:04Speaker 5: Down all, right you gotta chick coming. Over It's, saturday,
- 1:41:07Speaker 5: right so It's.
- 1:41:08Speaker 11: Friday you pull it, out you pull it out of the,
- 1:41:10Speaker 11: freezer you throw it in what the in the? Evening
- 1:41:12Speaker 11: you know WHAT i, mean like before you go to,
- 1:41:14Speaker 11: bed all.
- 1:41:15Speaker 4: Right for. Show you'll leave it there even when you
- 1:41:18Speaker 4: go to work the next.
- 1:41:19Speaker 11: Day oh, yeah, no you're wilding for. Respect you gotta
- 1:41:22Speaker 11: you gotta all right, overnight so we're gonna get at
- 1:41:25Speaker 11: least what let's say you got eight hours of. Sleep
- 1:41:28Speaker 11: it's gonna slowly thaw in the sink because your, Sink
- 1:41:31Speaker 11: i'm assuming is like stainless, steel so it's going to
- 1:41:35Speaker 11: hold the. Cold you know WHAT i. Mean put it
- 1:41:37Speaker 11: in the fridge when you wake, up, bro don't just leave.
- 1:41:40Speaker 11: It but, YEAH i, mean, like, yeah most people already
- 1:41:44Speaker 11: have a built up gut from eating like animal proteins, anyway,
- 1:41:49Speaker 11: Regardless so it's like the chances of you getting sick from.
- 1:41:52Speaker 11: That you're pretty frail if you get sick from leaving chicken,
- 1:41:55Speaker 11: out even if you were to go to work and come, back, like,
- 1:41:58Speaker 11: yeah your immune system is like, Week like you should
- 1:42:01Speaker 11: just go like liquid door knob or, something step it.
- 1:42:04Speaker 11: Up but like, YEAH i would say that that like
- 1:42:07Speaker 11: put it in the. Fridge but you'll be. Fine you
- 1:42:08Speaker 11: know What i'm. Saying as long as you touch it
- 1:42:10Speaker 11: and it's still cold to, touch you're.
- 1:42:12Speaker 4: Good.
- 1:42:13Speaker 5: Yeah the WAY i grew up with it is my
- 1:42:14Speaker 5: mom said anything over twelve is, bad but under twelve is. Fine.
- 1:42:19Speaker 11: HOURS i, MEAN i mean how many how many siblings
- 1:42:22Speaker 11: did you grow up?
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: With?
- 1:42:23Speaker 11: Five your mom was? Overworked fam twelve? Hours twelve hours
- 1:42:27Speaker 11: is pushing it to the.
- 1:42:31Speaker 4: All, right so bs cooking, miss what do you think
- 1:42:34Speaker 4: your chef's? Whoop you don't need to be afraid OF.
- 1:42:36Speaker 4: Msg it does nothing to you and makes everything taste.
- 1:42:39Speaker 11: BETTER msg occurs like naturally in a lot of food.
- 1:42:43Speaker 11: Products you know What i'm. Saying so people that are
- 1:42:46Speaker 11: like Eight chinese food and THERE'S msg and giving me a,
- 1:42:49Speaker 11: headache shut, up you know What i'm, Saying like, stop,
- 1:42:53Speaker 11: stop it's a flavor, enhancer you, know and nobody's using
- 1:42:56Speaker 11: so much that it's going to deteriorate your health. Instantly
- 1:43:01Speaker 11: like you really got to like put on your thinking
- 1:43:04Speaker 11: cap Fam like you know What i'm. SAYING i USE
- 1:43:06Speaker 11: msg and small like cheese sauces to just make it
- 1:43:09Speaker 11: taste like like what like you know WHAT i, Mean
- 1:43:12Speaker 11: it's just like it's, yeah it's just like a boost
- 1:43:14Speaker 11: of umami, exactly like, Cucumbers, yeah, yeah cucumber salads and
- 1:43:18Speaker 11: stuff like, that just to add like a Nice it's
- 1:43:20Speaker 11: like just what you were speaking on. Earlier it's like
- 1:43:22Speaker 11: there's a quality in here that you can't necessarily put
- 1:43:24Speaker 11: your finger. On it's USUALLY, msg you know.
- 1:43:27Speaker 4: What so cooking myth there is no ten minute. Meal
- 1:43:31Speaker 4: the shortest meal takes about thirty minutes to.
- 1:43:33Speaker 11: Make, Uh i'm gonna say that's cap, too you know
- 1:43:37Speaker 11: What i'm. Saying, yeah you can make a lot of
- 1:43:39Speaker 11: stuff pretty. Quick you feel me LIKE i. COULD i
- 1:43:41Speaker 11: mean maybe it's just, me but it's like ten minutes
- 1:43:43Speaker 11: you can Make you can make something shake like you
- 1:43:45Speaker 11: know What i'm. SAYING i, mean you could make you
- 1:43:48Speaker 11: could make like Sloppy Joe's you could make like a
- 1:43:51Speaker 11: like a local. Mocho like if you start your potter
- 1:43:53Speaker 11: rice and your patties at the same, time put an
- 1:43:56Speaker 11: egg in the patty in a pan at the same
- 1:43:57Speaker 11: time with your burger, patty and it's, like all, right
- 1:43:59Speaker 11: now a burger Pant he's, Done your rice is done
- 1:44:01Speaker 11: being being. Done that can literally take like ten. Minutes
- 1:44:04Speaker 11: you know What i'm.
- 1:44:04Speaker 4: Saying the only knife skill the average person needs is
- 1:44:07Speaker 4: just to learn how to properly hold one so you
