  If you ever wonder how and why God always says something about

  giving you peace even when you're going through the most

  difficult season of your life or you're trying to navigate a part

  of your life whereby things seems as though they were never
• 0:18
  going to work out. One of the key points of why
• 0:22
  peace is very important and I'm going to draw from three
• 0:26
  different illustration. The first was when Jesus was
• 0:32
  about to journey into the other side and it was recorded that
• 0:36
  while they were in the middle of the sea, immediately a Buster
• 0:40
  storm arose from nowhere and to the point where by the the fish
• 0:47
  are bed in the boat. They were skiful.
• 0:48
  So they know how storms are. But for them to come to that
• 0:52
  point of trying to cry to Jesus by telling him, don't you care
• 0:56
  that we perish? It shows you the extent of how
• 0:59
  this storm was. So it was not a little storm
• 1:02
  Passy, because these were men that are very, very skillful in
• 1:06
  knowing how to navigate storm because of their profession.

  So they came to the point where they started crying about them
• 1:14
  being perishing. But is it not something striking
• 1:16
  that the Bible gave a description of that Jesus was at
• 1:20
  the back of the boat. He was not watching them as they
• 1:24
  tried to navigate the storm. The Bible even said that he was
• 1:28
  sleeping. It means that that kind of rest
• 1:32
  can only come if there's an understanding of something.
• 1:37
  So when they waked him up, Jesus responded to them.
• 1:41
  Don't you? You know, you men of little
• 1:43
  feet. And he rebuked the wind.
• 1:46
  And they were able to successfully get into their
• 1:48
  destination. But have you not ever wondered
• 1:51
  that is the storm Not afraid that the Prince of Peace himself
• 1:55
  was there in the boat, yet the storm came.
• 1:59
  It means that part of the things that give you the assurance of
• 2:03
  your answers most times will be the peace of God that surpass
• 2:09
  every understanding. You see when you lay hold of
• 2:13
  that peace, it give you an edge over every other aspect of your
• 2:18
  life and that is why the scripture said in Philippian 4
• 2:24
  that the peace of God that surpass all understanding will
• 2:29
  be given to you. Why He said be anxious for
• 2:32
  nothing because anxiousness is one of the gateway that the
• 2:35
  devil uses to manipulate the life of God's people.
• 2:40
  So what he does is that he give you a dose of anxiety and the
• 2:46
  moment you are able to run without anxiety or that fear,
• 2:50
  then automatically doubt begins to creep into your heart and
• 2:54
  before you know it you'll find yourself derailing to the other
• 2:58
  side. So what does God do?

  God will give you a dose of his peace, He said, the peace that
• 3:04
  surpass every understanding. So you may not know why you have
• 3:09
  debt debtors around you. You need to pay your mortgage,
• 3:12
  you need to pay, you know your fees, you need to pay your
• 3:15
  rental. You need to do this.
• 3:16
  But yet there's an unbending piece that is in your heart.
• 3:22
  So it garnishes your heart to the point where nothing again
• 3:25
  matters except that inner peace that the Lord is given and that
• 3:30
  peace is able to put pull you through in the midst of the
• 3:35
  storm, in the midst of the crisis and every other thing
• 3:39
  that you may be going through. So God is bringing this world to
• 3:43
  you today to give you comfort and to make you understand that
• 3:47
  the peace you need is right within you, the security you
• 3:51
  need, the assurance you need. And because that pieces are
• 3:53
  talking you, you have all it takes to succeed.

  You have all it takes to be victorious.
• 3:59
  This world today is to bring comfort to somebody listening to
• 4:03
  this that's in the midst of that marriage crisis, in the midst of
• 4:08
  that financial crisis, in the midst of that turbulence, God is
• 4:13
  already bringing an answer to you.

  All you need to do right now is to rest on His peace.
• 4:20
  Just like the disciples, the Prince of Peace was there with
• 4:24
  them, yet they didn't know. So the moment you rest in that,
• 4:29
  automatically you begin to see the victory that Christ has made
• 4:32
  available for you.
