Tell us a little bit about Amelie: No. Lynn: your about your situation. Yes it's dear. Amelie: My situation I'm homeless at the moment. No. I mean at first I have to apologise for Luigi: social services. Amelie: the lighting. This lighting makes me look like I haven't slept for like hundred years, which I probably haven't. Which is probably pretty Lynn: Which is accurate. Yes, it's accurate though, isn't it? Amelie: accurate. Yes, it's pretty accurate. Lynn: Yeah. Amelie: I am outdoors indoors in Leeds. Just I just had to Luigi: Ew. Amelie: get out. I just had to get out of the routine and I've never been to Leeds even though it's not very far away from me. And Lynn: Hm. Amelie: I think I had this idea of how Leeds would look like and it looked nothing like I imagined it lo it look it looked like. I was pleasantly surprised. Yeah, I'm pleasantly surprised Lynn: Right. Do you like it though? Yeah. Amelie: it is When I when I went to Sheffield for the first time, I was very disappointed. When I went to Nottingham for the first time, I was like, Nottingham, it's a little bit better than Sheffield. But the Lynn: Mm-hmm. Amelie: second time I went to Nottingham, I really didn't like it. So Lynn: Mm-hmm. Amelie: I wasn't expecting much, but you can definitely tell that people here have more money because there's more posh themes here. And my favourite town up here, Harrigate. is like twenty minutes away from here. So and it's i it's similar but obviously much bigger. But yeah, I I'm pleasantly surprised. There's loads of things if if you like shopping, I think it's good for shopping and stuff and hockey and things, I guess. So yeah, it's it's like a tiny London for me. Luigi: Do they have a spiritual shop of some kind? Amelie: I don't know. I actually don't know. I haven't checked it. Lynn: You should you should you should Google and then see. And that's yeah, that's what I did when I was in Amelie: I I should Lynn: Porto, right? It's like the first thing is like, is there Luigi: Hahaha. Lynn: are there any esoteric shops in Porto? And then we try and then my friend didn't know and then we looked it up and then the one that I found that was very far away, but then I found another one by accident because he pointed me to a comic book store that I had to go to. And like, okay, I'll go to the comic book store, and then just like one floor it was like in a in a small in a small mall, right? And then in one floor under I just see like crystals and Buddha statues and all that. I'm like, boy, I'm going in and Luigi: Jackpot! Lynn: I came back out with like a few euros less and a lot more stones as you do. Amelie: You know what, when I went Luigi: As it's demanded. Amelie: to York when I went to York there's few few nice woo-woo shops as like I I like to call them. The woo-woo shops. But I I haven't thought about, Lynn: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Amelie: you know. Can you hear the music? This is mad. Lynn: Just a little bit. Yeah, yeah. Amelie: It's like being back in the nineties for some reason. Luigi: quiet of the ancestors. Lynn: Ha ha ha. Amelie: Luigi that is Lynn: You've such a strong presence. Amelie: the guest here had a great idea a great idea for a little guest episode. Guest episode, no, corner Luigi: Yeah, I thought- Amelie: chaos. Luigi: I we could possibly do a reading for the collective in terms of the energies that one may be expecting for the month of August. Obviously, respecting that different people might be going by different calendars, not everybody might follow the Gregorian one. But just like for those who do, or for those who quote unquote care, just having the chaotic witches and vampires and shamans just gather some insight from the spiritual realm. and share. Obviously it needs to be taken with a grain of salt because we're trying to do it for the collective so the message becomes less person-centered and more like inclusive of the vast majority I suppose. But yeah it can be something to gather inspiration from, know, like have a bit of mindfulness about or just something that maybe either you look forward to for the month ahead or it gives you the boosts. or the support required to go through the month ahead. Not expecting almost to be a terrible month in the slightest, but you know, that's one of the purposes of magic. Like, it helps us get through the tough times and makes the good times even better, in my humble opinion. Lynn: Or it's just a fun little reading that we're Amelie: You were saying that you already Lynn: doing for fun. Luigi: Yeah, it's just for fancies. Amelie: Yeah. Lynn: It was just for fancies. Hmm. Luigi: But I was gonna tell you guys before we go into it I was sharing with you that my card for the month of August is the Ace of Swords And I don't know what is it about today, maybe because it's Lunasa, so blessed Lunasa for everybody who is celebrating it But I was feeling... Thank Lynn: Blessed Blessed Lamas Lunasa. Luigi: you, thank you. Blessed V And I was feeling a V out with the fairies, I suppose, and I started shuffling my deck and I simply asked I'm afraid to ask this question, this is how I formulated it in my heart's mind and in my mind's heart I'm afraid to ask this question but I'm gonna ask it as a test of courage for myself Can you give me a view, can you give me a vision of who am I going to be? How am I going to be in 10 years time? So I'm 32 at the moment and I asked this big ass question like can you show me how I'm gonna be or who I'm gonna be like when I'm 42 and I was completely terrified I was gonna come out from the ether but Lynn: Mm-hmm. Luigi: the card that came out was the Sun I know, I was shocked, surprised... Amelie: You're going to be a baby again, the baby on the horse Young forever. Luigi: I'll be reborn, I'll be reborn. Lynn: Reborn. Mm. Amelie: been born. Luigi: So yeah, I have to do some further meditation and pondering and journaling on it, but I was just like, okay, because usually I was like, the 40s, they're coming soon, tough times ahead. But this is giving me a bit of a, it could be the time of your life, you never know. Lynn: Yeah. It sure will be. The forties are great, I'm sure. Amelie: Yeah, they are. They're amazing. Until you're closer to fifty, then it Lynn: Even better than the thirties. Amelie: starts getting scary. Luigi: I'm out. Amelie: But what I like about it is the fact that you start understanding how people work more and you start caring less about image and and trying to show that you are someone, you know, you just you just are. Lynn: Yeah. I just heard a Amelie: You just the chaos itself, you know. Lynn: Yeah. I just heard Helen Bonham Carter read out I think she was reading out a poem. I didn't catch which it was. But it's basically about getting old or becoming an old lady. And I mean she's amazing, right? And she was just like reading out this this thing as basically like practising being an old lady, you know, like if when I'm an old lady I want to wear purple dresses and a red hat that doesn't go And I want to do this and that and just like being completely unhinged basically. And then in the end it's like, maybe I should start practicing now. And I'm like, Yeah, the purple, I already do that. I don't have the the red hat that doesn't go, but I could invest. But But like all this about not really not really giving that many Fs about what people think and just do whatever you want. Although hers was a bit like the poem is a bit more cheeky because it's like, you know I want to go into the neighbour's garden and pick flowers there and you know, things like that. so it's Luigi: Rebellious. Amelie: Do you know Lynn: yeah, i I really I like to Amelie: So you know the the reason why I really wanted to live in Bell Size Park was actually because of Helena Bone Carter. And I always in my Lynn: really? Yeah. Luigi: Really? Amelie: in my in my head, yes, in my head I was always like, When I get old I want to be kind of like her, a bit like Vivian Westwood, Helena Bone Carter, Lynn: Hm. Amelie: not job, walking around and hamstered living in Belse Park. And I think this is why when I was living Lynn: Mm-hmm. Amelie: in Bellside Park, that was like the end of my goal. Luigi: then you might get into the property ladder seriously, because I think he left a house or something, like from what I read about this recently or something, or listened to it on YouTube, basically allegedly... She already lived in a house that was too small for the two of them So he ended up either renting or buying a house next to her So they lived technically separately and then after the divorce he actually left her both property Well, not both because one of them was already hers but ended up leaving her like you can keep the house So just wait for your Tim Burton, you know, and then you'll get back to Bellsides Park Lynn: Mm-hmm. Amelie: Yeah, I don't need a whole house. I just need a I just need the attic flat back. That's it. That's all I want. I just want my attic flat Luigi: I know, I know. Luigi: So usually, because I am very Capricornial, I would have said one card each, but I sense, again, I'm trying to get lean more into what the guides say, even when it goes against what I would do as a person. Amelie: Maybe cards that I'm not super comfortable with, but they're good cards. Lynn: Ha ha ha. Luigi: Wow. Amelie: The music here is wild. It's very two thousands. Lynn: That's like that's like a quarter of a century ago. You reali you realize that Amelie: I know. Luigi: gosh, don't say that. Lynn: the two thousands, a quarter of a century and it feels like, you know, it it was like n I was like in my like I mean as a teenager. Luigi: So I'll review all of them and give the message but it's gonna be an interesting month for a lot of us, I hope for all of us. So the first card Lynn: Mm-hmm. Luigi: that came out was the Ace of Roads or the Ace of Wands. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So the spark of life, new beginnings, new spiritual emanations for us to enjoy and bathe in. And it was followed by the Emperor! So the two of them together, I Lynn: Wow. That is Luigi: feel like it's a very powerful combination. Like, I really sense... You know, we are... It's definitely Leo season. We are coming out of the shell, coming out of the closet. We're coming out... We're Amelie: No mercy. Lynn: Ha ha ha Luigi: all gonna be... Yeah, we're gonna be expressing ourselves. We're gonna... It's not just stepping, but finally sitting in our throne of power and own our... sovereignty and our light and our visions as well. Like I really feel if ever we tend to experience doubt and frustrations that our energies surrounding us in the month of August that are demanding that we claim back our courage and our strength and our confidence and our divine gifts. And last but not least, so I did my usual method. So four of the emperor plus one of the ace gives me five. Five being a very transformative number and obviously when we cover, maybe in one episode we'll cover numbers in Tarot and Kevala and whatnot, but we know that Lynn: Yeah. Luigi: it's very martial, know, Gavora ruling the five being ruled by Gavora. And the fifth card was the hanged one. So, again, two majors, an ace, there's lots of things to be grateful for this coming month, for certain. And I think there are aspects of us that are required to step up and own our will or own ourselves to our will. At the same time, there's also an element of perhaps surrendering to that very own will. You know, there's an element of... accepting that this is what we're meant Amelie: Yeah. Luigi: to be, accepting that we are supposed to take space, accepting Amelie: Absolutely. Luigi: that what we're seeking is going to come, but it's only going to come once we tell ourselves, or we believe in ourselves enough to say, I am not only deserving of this, but this belongs Amelie: Smaller. Luigi: to me, this is mine, and this is meant to be for me. Regardless of whether we're waiting for something or not, Amelie: Yeah, Luigi: but there's an aspect of you need to... Like RuPaul says, if you can't love yourself, how in the hell are gonna love anybody else? It's a similar principle. Lynn: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Luigi: It needs to come from you first so that it can go Amelie: Yeah. Luigi: out into the universe, out into the world. So yeah, Lynn: Hm. Luigi: very interesting month ahead for Amelie: no, it's Luigi: everyone. Amelie: No, no, it wasn't Lynn: Wow. Amelie: interesting. Lynn: Yeah, definitely interesting. Amelie: Who will go next? So we are combining the wands with your areas from your emperor and I mean you're also having the sun. Which we talked about earlier, for Luigi. So that was the main card, so that would also be like Amelie: Yeah. Lynn: so that would also be about, you know, grabbing the thing. Amelie: It's easy for Lynn: I I'll just I'll I'll just have to go a bit further. So so I got that one and then I Amelie: Grabbing the thing. Lynn: got another one. Grabbing the thing. Luigi: Ha ha ha. Lynn: That's the thing. Amelie: Mm. Lynn: I mean, yeah. Mm-hmm. But I also have the reflection with the water because for me then I got the the six of cups on one side. Again the sun but in Scorpio yeah so double sun with water and then I got the knight of cups. So Luigi: Beautiful. Lynn: yeah, so I feel like there's a lot of energy. that fire energy that you had with the ace and the emperor, I feel that reflected in the three. like just this having this really strong energy and going out there and and, you know, doing the thing, whatever that is for you, like following your your calling, your something, doing something with that, bringing it into your p material, but then kind of riding on that it hopefully bringing you pleasure, like following the path that is actually making you happy. Like try not to mm not let the fire burn out that what you actually want, what you're actually striving for. You know, like he's like all you know, I mean he's got all the he's also all got all the fire, you know, so he's combining the fire and the water as well because he's a knight, right? And then he's so it's like Luigi: Yeah, yeah, like the free of wants as well Lynn: it's yeah, yeah. Amelie: Well that's what Lynn: So it it's a very kind of dual energy with the fire and water, like with very like emotions or like the passion and yeah, grabbing that. I don't know, I feel like that that was very similar to what you had. A bit different but also kinda similar. More like going into the yeah, Luigi: Yeah! Lynn: into the feelings. I mean you had like with the with the hangman it's kinda like, you know, surrendering and and, you know, Where there is more like giving into the emotion like giving into Whatever you're feeling and enjoying that. Everybody's good with that, but you know, enjoying what you're feeling and seeing what actually drives you and what kind of passions and dreams you're having. that's like this guy, right? 'Cause he's just following his ideals and his dreams and has like the passion to actually go there. He has got enough of the fire to actually go to really crazy quests like going for something that other people don't even believe in, you know, just following that. And he's got that energy. And he's got the virtue. Luigi: Yeah. Lynn: He's got the virtue for it too, right? Luigi: It definitely feels fulfilling as the energies Lynn: Yeah. Luigi: that we brought up so far. Lynn: If well dignified. We'll just see about that. But there's definitely Amelie: I like the spikes that you Yeah, that's that's it. Luigi: How many what do you have? Amelie: when this part came up was not just the reflection, but I was like matching energy, like you matching the someone else's energy or you matching the energy of whatever you do. So, you know, the feeling, the emotion, the love. and Lynn: Mm-hmm. Amelie: straight after I got two cards at the same time. the second one was Ten of Cups which just Lynn: Ooh. Amelie: clarified to me this this whole matching someone else's energy somehow. Whether it is someone you work with or it could be your lover or your family or whatever. something creative I think that's coming from the from the fire as well if you're into some kind of endeavor. It's you know when you just have this you just know that you're doing the right thing and you just like home. Lynn: Mm-hmm. Amelie: Like you are emotionally home somehow. And the Luigi: Yeah. Amelie: the third Lynn: Mm. Amelie: card I got was six of this Which was it's like a perfect Luigi: Wow. Amelie: ending to Lynn: Hmm. Amelie: to all of our cards. We're going from from Luigi's very fiery cards and then through like the hangman Lynn: Mm-hmm. Amelie: Two cups, six of cups and and then it's knight of cups and then queen and then success. Luigi: There is definitely a celebration Amelie: Yeah. Lynn: Yeah. Luigi: here, like, it's incredible. Amelie: Yeah. And I don't know if it Luigi: Like I like to see. Go on, go on. Amelie: I don't know if you guys checked underneath your deck, but I got the lovers underneath. So Lynn: Yeah, I I got the nine of discs Amelie: Putting your alpha. Lynn: under. Luigi: got the two appendicles. Lynn: I got the nano discs. Yeah. Amelie: See there's something something is def Lynn: kinda earthy on those yeah, we but the L's are earthy today. Amelie: it's yeah, it's something is definitely materializing through this this Lynn: Hm. Amelie: passion and through maybe collaboration even like we do. Or Luigi: Yeah, I'm trying Lynn: Mm-hmm. Luigi: to look at the patterns and I find it Lynn: Hmm. Luigi: interesting. I'm going to start between my triad and Lyn's triad, for example, because we have the three of wands for Lyn, which can easily match my hanged one because the 12 reduces to three. It can match obviously the emperor because the three of wands is a decan of Ares, such as the emperor. The Aesop ones, although not directly corresponding to the sun, is an embodiment of the energy of the sun. The Aesop ones is a reflection of the sun versus the Aesop cups being a reflection of the moon and the sun ruling the three of ones again. Also additionally, having the cups, the six of cups ruled by the sun again, but also being water, like the hang one is the element of water. And then having the marriage of Water and Fire in the two of Cups. That also marriage of Water and Fire is in the Ten of Cups of Amelie, you know, with the Cups and the Martian rulership of the Deacon of the Ten of Cups. But she also had the Water element with the Queen of Cups matching my hanged one. And then the last card that you had, Amelie, was the Six of Disks. So even then, like the Six, but it's, the Sun, the number of the Sun, but ruled by the Moon. as a card. So it's such a meeting of opposites, which usually it's the alchemical process of creating the Lynn: Mm. Luigi: quintessence. Lynn: It's very tiferate and very sun sun energy is coming through here with the sixes and the actual suns and yeah. Hmm, mm hmm. Luigi: Yeah, yeah, which makes sense, you know, thinking of what we discussed in recent episodes between the season of Leo, Luna, Asa, and so forth and so forth. Lynn: Mm. Luigi: Like, even though in the Celtic tradition, Lynn: Mm. Luigi: this is technically the beginning of autumn, even though you got that to keep in mind, it sounds like the energy coming are really mighty and powerful. And to an extent, like, I'm trying not to go into the news too much too often, because otherwise I get depressed. But there are so many... atmospheric events going on like earthquakes, storms, hailstorms as well and stuff like that. All of this makes me think of, although it's chaotic obviously and can be obviously dangerous, but it makes me feel like the power of nature. if nature had, obviously nature has a heart, but if we figuratively envision nature as a heart itself, now it's like pumping pumping pumping pumping pumping with adrenaline. Lynn: Hmm. Yeah, I think that is the energy i although it is beginning of autumn, we still like we're writing on the energy of the summer, of the sun. And it's right after it depends on the country, I guess, but some depends on the country, but like after Amelie: Mm. Lynn: the the the noon is actually where it often gets even hotter for a period because like everything is warmed up by the sun and then it's just reflected off of the buildings. And that is kind Luigi: Mm. Lynn: of I feel like the energy we're in now is like the sun has had its highest point. It's like declining on the horizon, but the the warmth and the energy of it is like really big right now. And we're riding Luigi: Yeah. Lynn: on that. And it's the as we said in our i Luigi: And the cards reflected that. Lynn: yeah And as we said in our last Amelie: It's like Lynn: episode of with Lunasa and Lamas, it's like rar. It's the rar time. Amelie: It's a bit like a like a Luigi: I am woman, hear me roar. Amelie: like a Lynn: Yeah. Amelie: power bank or or you know, the sun panels where during the summer Luigi: Mmm. Amelie: it's been just gathering the energy and Lynn: Mm, mm. Amelie: now it's the energy is there even though things are have kind of like waned down Luigi: releasing. Amelie: a bit. There's a little bit of clouds and but the fact that it's not so hot anymore gives you more energy and you still have the energy that you kind of all the vitamin D's that you got from the sun. And now it's not so hot. So it kind Lynn: Mm, mm. Luigi: Yeah. Amelie: of feels more comfortable somehow to actually action things almost. Lynn: Mm, mm. Amelie: It feels like Luigi: Yeah, which I guess... Amelie: something is lifting, if something feels just easier, like emotionally easier, like it just flows better. Luigi: which I guess is the underlying theme of the multiple readings that we gathered together here in this episode, suppose. Like this idea that in August, collectively speaking, our muscular and feminine, and I'm speaking in energetic terms, but our muscular and feminine qualities, tendencies, behaviors, they're coming together. And when they come together, they can truly express power. One of them is not overwhelming the other, although the elemental dignity is technically not favorable, alchemically speaking, it's incredibly favorable. So that's promising. Lynn: And I think is the background is the background song golden? Because that would also Luigi: Yeah! Lynn: fade I think the background song right now that Amelie is golden from K pop Demon Hunter. So again we're in the sun, we're in August. We're shining the light. Luigi: Hahaha. That song is a banger Lynn: D Luigi: I forgot the lyrics now though. Amelie: I'm trying to listen to what the hell is happening here. Luigi: Do do do do do do do do do do Lynn: Well anyway. That that was a it was a great experiment. I like that was really I feel it's always like a little bit tantalizing, I think, to do readings like that. 'Cause you like what if everybody says something different and then it's so much fun when it's not different. It's also Luigi: Hmm... surprising. Amelie: more often more often than not it just flows when we do the readings no matter no matter what kind of readings we've been doing it always somehow flows. I don't know how we do it. Lynn: Mm. Amelie: Which was so interesting because like everyone had it but we didn't really like it's not like we talk about it before we draw the cards, we just do it ourselves. which which makes Lynn: Mm. Mm. Amelie: it really interesting for us as well once we post it. So yeah, check those out. They are cool. Lynn: Yeah, very. And then also Luigi: Yeah. But yeah, it's an exercise that serves not only the community, hopefully, but definitely us as practitioners, as individuals, because we can get to stretch our skills and our vision. Amelie: Yeah.
