- 2:24As a matter of fact, Tim Robert already messaged just this morning says,
- 2:28recently, I engaged in a game of hoops and encountered an elbow to
- 2:32the ribs. Either we've been there, and I've been there my friend,
- 2:37which didn't initially cause much pain. However, I'm noticing bruising and tenderness in
- 2:42the area. Any suggestions for a leaving that discomfort and that email from Robert,
- 2:47Yeah, absolutely. Rib pain can just be very painful. Yeah,
- 2:52and I know with that too, and anyone that has it's like, man,
- 2:55this is intense. So inflammation is the root of that pain. So
- 3:00minimizing the inflammation Robert's really good idea. There's a product called Kira Relief.
- 3:06We talk about it a lot on the show. It's it's kerk human basualio,
- 3:09natokinase dlpa's and amino acid. So a really nice blend that is formulated
- 3:17with the idea of reducing pain in thirty to forty five minutes. So it's
- 3:22nice because it's very fast acting, it doesn't have side effects, it strengthens
- 3:27the system actually, and it reduces the inflammation. So I would encourage that
- 3:31product called Kira Relief that cu are a relief if you're checking it out on
- 3:37our website or popping our stores, bring the issue up. Strata is a
- 3:42gummy we have. So these are the two products I bring up almost every
- 3:46time there's a pain related to inflammation, which is almost all pain. Kira
- 3:50Relief number one. Number two is Strata. It's a gummy that has CBD
- 3:53and delta nine THHC, and that the THHC blocks the pain while the CBD
- 3:59balances the the inflammation as well. So those two together robert very effective pain
- 4:04relief. And if you need something topically, I like to bring up Comfrey
- 4:09cream. Comfrey cream it's c O M F R E Y. They call
- 4:13it the trauma plant. It is super healing. You can use it on
- 4:16broken bones, when you when you have an area on the skin that's that's
- 4:21bruising or rash. It's very good for recovery and anti inflammatory benefits there for
- 4:28the ribs. So those three buddy, hang in there. It takes a
- 4:30couple of weeks. Man, recovery can be pain. Yeah, especially as
- 4:34we as we age. I don't know if you've noticed this tip, and
- 4:41it just doesn't get better. Yeah, you think great email this morning Robert
- 4:46again, if you want to be like Robert, you can always email the
- 4:49show. Tim at finds your Healthy Place dot com. That's Tim t I

- 5:21Healthy Place and untelephone number six eight three two one thirteen ten. That's three
- 5:26two one thirteen ten to get you on the air. And Tim Funny,
- 5:29I was, I was opening up the paper the other day and I saw
- 5:31my old doctor doctor's orbit pastor had a had an interesting story about some new
- 5:38research and the benefits of a proper multi vitamin when it comes to memory,
- 5:44and I know for a lot of folks, multi vitamins are are a daily
- 5:47need for good reason. It's important though to understand what's all in and what
- 5:53type of ingredients are in that multi vitamin. And especially you know, I
- 5:58think memory, you think of immune it's you know, helping your body in
- 6:01so many different ways. Multi vitamins are so vital and you guys actually have
- 6:08a great opportunity right now at the website find your Healthy Place dot com.
- 6:13When it comes to con multi vitamin, yeah, and you know a multi
- 6:19is such a cornerstone to our health in this day and age. You know,
- 6:24customers will ask sometimes, hey, hundred years ago, they didn't have
- 6:27multi vitamins. You know, why do I need one today? And I
- 6:30love that question because it's changed so much since a hundred years ago. The
- 6:33food supply is very different than it used to be. You know, a
- 6:36bowl of salad will have literally half the nutrients that it had compared to the
- 6:41nineteen fifties. You know, I like to bring up broccoli for example,
- 6:44nineteen seventies to now, the vitamin C content has been reduced by about twenty
- 6:48five percent. Brown rice has been reduced by forty percent. Calcium has been
- 6:54reduced by forty percent since the nineteen sixties. So the food supply is very
- 6:58different than a hundred years ago. And we use much more chemicals on our
- 7:01food as well, so pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, that all has an
- 7:05impact to the food itself and to our bodies. That we even harvest our
- 7:11food off and before it's ripe and artificially in a ripe in it on the
- 7:14way to the grocery store. So now more than ever before in history,
- 7:16we need a supplement. That's why the supplement industry is growing so much is
- 7:21because there's greater need in areas of nutrition. So something as basic as a
- 7:25multiviemin is a staple. It's in our top five most important foundations that you
- 7:31can take and you can really feel and see a difference if you take one
- 7:36of quality. So if you're taking these heat compressed tablets, they won't break
- 7:42down, they won't give you much benefits. So if you're taking one of
- 7:45the more popular multiviemins that are in the kind of the mass market stores,
- 7:51then hey, you're not going to be absorbing that nutrients very well. So
- 7:54I always encourage people, Hey, go to a health food store of some
- 7:58kind. The healthy places my favorite. There's a number of good ones in
- 8:01town. Though. My encouragements to get a good one out from the product
- 8:07of the month that we're doing is lively vitamins multivitamin and you mentioned the forms
- 8:13of ingredients, Sean, That's what I get kind of excited about. So
- 8:15when you look at B vitamins, most multivitamins out there will give you synthetic
- 8:20B vitamins. You need to convert that. Your liver needs to convert that,
- 8:24and you lose so much of the content in that conversion process. So
- 8:28you want to use a multi take of multivieamin that has all your bioactive you
- 8:33know, methylcobolum and B twelve and proxo five phosphate, B six and five
- 8:37methyl folate instead of synthetic folic acid. You'll feel a nice burst of energy.
- 8:41We need that going into the fall here. We need energy. We
- 8:45need the cognitive focus that you'll feel from equality multi. And you mentioned immune
- 8:50system. You know, coffin cold season is real. We're going into that
- 8:52season now. The right amino acids and antioxidants and minerals, vitamins, informs
- 9:00that absorb well will launch your immune system. And I got to point that
- 9:03out again, it's informs that absorb well. So the Lively Multi is my
- 9:09favorite. I take four capsules in the morning and you feel a few things.
- 9:13You feel a burst of energy, you feel more mental clarity, you
- 9:18see a reduced stress levels. And then after a few weeks, three or
- 9:22four weeks, you'll start to notice a little bit of hair, skin,
- 9:24nail benefits. And that's because of the nutrition. Your body's telling you what
- 9:28we like it. So hey, get on a multi vitamin. It's funny
- 9:31when you mentioned the hair, skin, and nail. I was gonna I
- 9:33was gonna mention that too, because one of the things and when people start
- 9:35taking that, taking a good multi vitamin, they notice is suddenly like your
- 9:41nails and like your cuticles. Suddenly you're like, wow, they just look
- 9:43so nice. Being a commercial, yeah, commercials all, yeah it is.
- 9:52We're gonna continue our conversation with Tim. As a matter of fact,
- 9:54we're probably gonna we'll talk a little bit about when it comes to vitamin and
- 10:00supplements in general, importance of sourcing and understanding. As Tim was mentioning with
- 10:03my multi vitamins, some of the big names that you hear out there are
- 10:07not always the best for you as far as as far as being able to
- 10:11actually be bioavailable and be able to actually do something for you or talk a
- 10:16little bit about what you need to know when it comes to that stuff.
- 10:18Of course, the prime opportunity as well, love to get you on the
- 10:22air today six o eight three two one thirteen ten. That's three two one
- 10:24thirteen ten. We'll get you on the air at Tim O'Brien from the Healthy

- 10:31Healthy Place dot com three locations Madison, West, Fitchburg and Sun Prairie.
- 10:35And again the phone lines are up for you right now six eight three two
- 10:39one thirteen ten. That's three two one thirteen ten. We'll continue our conversation
- 10:43with Tim O'Brien and take your call next as asked the experts with the Healthy
- 10:46Place continues right here on thirteen ten WIBI can't touch this, O can't touch
- 10:56this eight fifty two fifteen ten deals and asking the experts hanging out with Tim
- 11:01O'Brien from the Healthy Place online find you or healthy Place dot com all one
- 11:05word, find your Healthy Place dot com, three locations west side of Madison,
- 11:09Fitchburg End, Sun Prairie Wellness consultants. They are there for you at
- 11:13all three locations as well as online it finds your Healthy Place dot com.
- 11:18That's finds your Healthy Place dot com. Gotch a couple of minutes left in
- 11:20the in the program this week, Tim, it's just flying by. And
- 11:24in that previous segments you were talking, we were talking about, of course
- 11:26the featured supplement of the month, of course, multivitamins Product of the month,
- 11:31which means there's a discount if you head on over to find your Healthy
- 11:35Place dot com or head into the story. But when we were talking about
- 11:39multi vitamins, you had mentioned, you know a lot of these ones that
- 11:41we know of are just like heat compressed and not always the right type of
- 11:48vitamin to really see a lot of benefit for your body. And it talks
- 11:52it comes around to standards, and one of the things I love about The
- 11:54Healthy Place is very high standards when it comes to sourcing, when it comes
- 11:58to production, when it comes to knowledgeable staff. And this really runs through
- 12:03the core of the Healthy Place. No matter what you find in the store,
- 12:07it's going to be something that's vetted, something that's of the highest standard,
- 12:09and of course very knowledgeable people helping you find that product. And that's
- 12:13really part of your main mission, isn't it. Yeah, you know,
- 12:16qualities everything, And I learned that early on. You know, I grew
- 12:18up in the health food store with my mom managing and just watching, Hey
- 12:22what would she recommend and why? And I just just learned early on quality
- 12:28is everything. Especially the FDA doesn't regulate our industry, you know, And
- 12:33so then you have supplements, you have brands out there that there is so
- 12:37many corners to cut, so it becomes vital. You know, you might
- 12:41have a very pretty packaging, but what is the sourcing of the content within?
- 12:46Are there? Excipients? Are there? Binders? Are there? Synthetics?
- 12:48Are there artificial colors? Which is common. You know, you take
- 12:52a vitamin and it's very gorgeous. You know some of these brands and it's
- 12:56like a bunch of artificial coloring and flavorings, and it's like this is chemicals.
- 13:01This isn't good for you at all. So sourcing is huge. You
- 13:05know, when we look at Lively multivitamin, for example, you look at
- 13:09our brands in our stores, where's it sourced from? You know, the
- 13:11United States, Europe? You know, you don't want to pull from places
- 13:16that there is there's heavy metal content or concerns there. So we work with
- 13:20facilities that are NSF certified facilities. That's a third party that these manufacturers pay
- 13:26to enforce and approve and spot check. These manufacturers FDA vetted vendor. Sourcing
- 13:33is important. Raw materials being third party tested for those heavy metals and other
- 13:39contaminants. You know, something called FTIR machines to test all the raw materials
- 13:43again once in house. Because there's so many opportunities for something to go south
- 13:50or for a corner to be cut. All content, you know, being
- 13:52scanned and quarantined in separate facilities because you know, hey, purity wise,
- 13:56we want to protect the content, retain MR records in case there's ever an
- 14:01issue. So qualities everything sourcing is everything forms of ingredients. You know,
- 14:07if you take an herb, or you take a vitamin, or you take
- 14:11an acid, there's going to be good, better, best as far as
- 14:15forms that allow that nutrient to absorb better. You know, you brought up
- 14:20the word bioavailability. That's essential for You've got to be able to absorb it
- 14:24and assimilate it into your system and into your body. And sometimes there's not
- 14:28a better form for an ingredient, but you can house it inside of a
- 14:33fat like sunflower lesothin that turns it into a highly absorbable nutrient. You can
- 14:37take zinc, for example, and encase it within sunflower leesethin and the absorption
- 14:43will go up significantly. So now your battle against you know, strengthening the
- 14:48immune system for example, is enhanced. So when you come into the healthy
- 14:52place, what I would want you to know is our army of wellness consultants.
- 14:54We don't pretend to be doctors or pharmacists. We have some of the
- 14:58best in the world here in Madison. What are really really good at is
- 15:01knowing which brands are good, better, best, and which forms of ingredients
- 15:05will get the job done. Because there's a lot of people suffering out there,
- 15:09whether it's chronic pain, stressed anxiety, depression, gut issues, heart
- 15:13issues, brain issues, and you want to know what nutrients are working in
- 15:18our community. And that's what you can expect and find it the Healthy Place,

- 15:35your smiling face. Whether it's the West side of Madison, Fitchburgers, Sun
